[00:01:01] Learning something new International ambassador That's right, that's exactly right Hello everybody, welcome Another festive Friday is here Thank goodness And we still, believe it or not Have 2025 Christmas movies that we haven't seen Someone's gotta cover them And we're doing it right here, right now We're getting close We are approaching Venturing into Christmas horror land here Christmas horror land Yeah, I'm excited about that Gotta finish those doldrums of August first Of course

[00:01:30] Listen, of course Alonzo, happy fall to you How are you feeling about fall? Fall, fall into love has begun I was gonna say Is this Hallmark fall? Yeah, it's Hallmark fall Yeah, you know I'll tell ya I've always I've said this before Maybe I've even said it on this show As much as I love living in Southern California One of the things I do really miss about the South Is autumn That's right We don't really do that here

[00:01:59] First of all I have to literally drive somewhere else To find the kind of trees Where the leaves change color anyway Because for the most part It's palm trees And that's, you know Not the same thing But like we don't get those Sort of like Chilly days Leading into winter Yeah Because really like The chilly days Kind of are our winter For the most part Right So yeah It is not a thing here So it is It's the idea You know Like yes Pumpkin spice latte Will start popping up everywhere

[00:02:29] But as far as an actual season It doesn't We don't do it here And I wish we did Because I do miss it Well it's not here yet either Buddy So don't feel like you're missing out No, I know As someone who thinks this All of this stuff is overrated Out of season The first brisk morning The first sub-60 morning Where you leave the house Yeah And it's about 58 degrees Ooh, I gotta put a wrap on It is pretty great It's pretty great It's coming It's not here yet though

[00:02:59] It has been hot And in true form You know Fall technically starts What? September 20th And Hallmark's like We'll give you 25 days And then it's Christmas time, baby Well that's why They start the fall in mid-August To get it all in Before actual fall begins In October Don't make it make sense And we're getting more Halloween movies from them, right? They also have Most spectacular Yeah, apparently two

[00:03:28] Halloween-adjacent movies Okay That's what it seems like But more on that On the preview show Can't wait Coming up in a little while Well I guess that would be The October preview show We'll figure it out We'll figure it out October preview show Which will not include The Christmas preview I don't want to talk about I don't want to talk about it I don't want to talk about it It's by months Unless it's not That's Bran's rule A cream means Two more buckets What are you talking about? [00:03:58] It's how I do things And how you do it But not all the time It's months It's seasons And yet And yet your audience Can't get enough Yeah, whatever They love it They love the preview shows Should we start previewing The festive Friday movies No No Is that what we've gone too far? No No, but we will be previewing Deck the Netflix I assume Yeah That adjunct is going to be Assuming Netflix Is putting out Christmas movies And I want to be very clear If we just previewed The holiday movies

[00:04:27] By channel In an episode I would be here for it But we don't just preview them For Christmas movies If we just did one Hallmark Christmas preview I would be in for that We do a kickoff We do a first look And then we do a preview And then we do a ranking afterwards Usually you do two previews I don't want to talk about it And that doesn't include The kickoff Which the movies Were most excited for Or a first look Which is the same thing No, no First look Is our first look First look Because we just got The schedule in our hands

[00:04:57] First look This is so obvious First look I get it First look Is a first look And our Then Our opinions Will change over time You have to sit with it For a bit Then You can't just immediately Go with what I'm looking forward to Exactly Then we preview them We spend time First look We don't even know Who all the screenwriters are What's the kickoff The kickoff Is now that we've Previewed them all And first looked Them And first looked Even Alonzo knows The kickoff is crazy Even Alonzo knows that

[00:05:27] Now that we have A great understanding Of all of the movies Which ones are we most excited Look Look Christmas Hallmark Christmas Is your Christmas You need to soak Every drop out of it Because that's when Schedule release day Is my jam I love schedule release day So you love first look I love first look Yeah If we do one of those things I'm here for it You get this first look though So much could change

[00:05:56] Once I know the intricacies Of the Nashville Christmas Carol Maybe I'm not as much on board Yes Yes Thank you Yes So you do get it You claim you don't get it And then you say it And it's clear that you get it Let's talk 12 Toys of Christmas Shall we 12 Toys of Christmas We put it off this long November 6th 2025 Is when it's Dropped on I believe I'm looking here Every streamer known to man Yeah Yeah And it went a little something

[00:06:25] Like this Olivia loves Christmas So much so That she's even missing out On meetings Because she's too busy Decorating her desk When she finally goes Into her boss's office For said meeting She's told that they're Considering pitching Making toys For this big Hungarian Filmmaker I believe A little foggy On the details here But This really excites her Because

[00:06:55] Her family is Of Hungarian descent In fact Her Grandma and grandfather They would come over Every year Dan To celebrate Christmas Of course And like to do a lot of things together And as it turns out She actually Her grandma Isn't going to come over To the States For Christmas this year Because she's Quote unquote Sick And she would need somebody To travel with her So she Volunteers To go To Hungary To get grandma

[00:07:24] But mainly For work She wants to try To pitch Come up with some ideas That would really Blow this guy Away So that they can pitch She gets there A driver Picks her up His name is Hilarious And He's not hilarious His name Is hilarious That's his name It's his given name Hilarious That's how you Would call him And they take a pit stop For Coco And for him to introduce

[00:07:53] Her to his son Andres They butt heads On technology Right away And if you think That that's Going to be a one off You haven't seen One of these movies before She gets to her grandma's house And grandma's not sick at all In fact She's climbing ladders Like Jeff Hardy Nice She has no desire To go to the states For Christmas this year She's just not feeling it So she

[00:08:23] Goes to make a call And her Her grandma Has a strict No phones Inside rule Similar to Luke And Luke's diner And Gilmore Girls And she's outside Jeff Hardy And Luke From Gilmore Girls What a day And meets A little girl Named Emma Who invites her Into her festive treehouse To make her call Emma's on her tablet She's on her phone It's a big tech tree And Emily Emma Is actually

[00:08:53] Andreas' Daughter He takes Olivia To this Old workshop Where he shows Her these 12 old toys That Her grandpa Would make He would make These 12 toys Every year And give them out To kids And the community And this was The last ones That he made But it wasn't able To give them out Before he passed away And She Decides Let's carry on This tradition They kind of Talked together Maybe if we Give away These 12 toys Then maybe

[00:09:22] Grandma will Come home For Christmas I gotta be honest I don't understand The train of thought Here But that And not tell her And not tell her But anyway So She gives out One of the toys And she feels Really good And is really Enjoying being around On drinks But Her boss Calls her And threatens To fire her If she doesn't Get back To work She focuses On work For 12 hours And then gets Distracted again With Andres Handing out The toys again And they Even make a little

[00:09:52] Wooden toy Of their own But It turns out That her grandma Was holding On to those Toys As like A last Memory Of her Husband Who's passed Away And actually Wanted to give Away some Of the toys Herself As a way To honor His memory And she Is crushed To find out That all Of the toys Have been Given away It can't get Worse right Dan No way It can Because her Boss Shows up Apparently Filmmaking Dude

[00:10:22] Is Day Wants to Hear the Pitch Tomorrow So she Shows her What she's Been working On A wooden Toy And she Hates it That's not An app That's not Plastic Get out of Here with Your wooden Toy Trash But that Doesn't stop Them from Trying to Pitch some Sort of App or Something Last minute He doesn't Want it He's Turned down Like seven Apps by Now Okay I'm Out of Here And so Ultimately She ends up

[00:10:51] Getting fired Her grandma Hears this And encourages Her to Pitch the Wooden toy That she Created And has Everybody in Town bring Them the Toys that They have Been given She does Do this Pitch He loves It This is Exactly What he's Been looking For She ends Up getting Her job Back And then Of course Olivia And Andres Kiss To celebrate The win And that My friends Was Twelve Toys of Christmas We Did it

[00:11:51] Our Hot Take Where We Share Exactly How We Felt About This Movie We Do Not Hold Back And I Will Start With You Alonzo Alonzo Twelve Toys Of Christmas Was It A Gift That You Were Excited For Where Is The Returns Desk Okay First Of All The The The The Lead Dude's Name Is Not Andres It's Androsh Whatever Yeah I I I Wish That I Loved Anything In This World As Much As Androsh Loves

[00:12:20] Explaining Work Life Balance This Movie Cannot Tell Its Heroin Nearly Enough Times How She Needs To Stop Working So Much And Take A Breath And So That Got Annoying Really Fast Gotta Say Bold Move To Have Like The The Sort Of Learning To Love Christmas Thing That The The The Woman Does Be The Worst

[00:12:50] Possible Thing She Could Do To Her Grand Mother No Kidding Didn't See That One Coming I So Kudos For That I Guess Yeah There's An Idea Here That I Think Could Work But There's Just They Do Such A Sketchy Job Of Explaining Like Who This Hungarian Walt Disney Is And What The Character Of Bobita Is And All This Other Stuff So Like I Think A Little Firmer Take

[00:13:20] On That Would Have Helped And Then Yeah It Just A Crazy Amount Of Wait Watts That Really Damages This Movie A Lot But It Just That Hot Take Was So Kind It Crazy The

[00:13:50] I The Most Frustrating Thing About This Movie Is That It's Not A Foreign Is From And You Know You're In The Toy Business You've Kind Of Lost Your Way You Fall Back In Love With What It Looks Like To To To To To Why You

[00:14:20] Do It By Giving Away The 12 To To Your Grandfather Used To Give Away Every Year And Honoring His Memory There's That's A Nice Story But What We Get Is A Movie Where People Are Really Really Trying It Makes Us Have To Really Freaking Lock Into This Movie And There's Just Not Enough To Lock In On And You Just Find Yourself Getting Frustrated

[00:14:50] I Think You Know If I Am A Random Person During The Holiday Season Trying To Find A Movie To Watch And I Turn This Movie On Am I More Like To Turn It Off Because It's A Foreign Film With Subtitles Or I More Likely To Turn It Off Because I Have Trouble Understanding Every Third Word That They Say I I Mean I Will Say This First Of All I Get Because You Child Of Immigrants I Maybe A Little More Used To Dealing With ESL English As a

[00:15:19] Second Language Also Old Deaf Guy That I Am I Always Have The Titles On My So I Was Watching It As A Subtitled Movie Yeah It Was A Foreign Film To Everything Is Yeah I Yeah So That's Just Kind Of Like Where I'm At With It Is Like I Like The General Idea Of This Movie I Just Don't Know Why They Did It The Way That They Did It Because I Do Think That The Average Person Would Turn This Movie Off Because

[00:15:49] I Because It's Not In The Original Tongue That They Would Be Actually Speaking In If This Movie Was Happening It Takes You Out Of The Movie And So Despite The Good Intentions And The Decent Story Here I Was Left Frustrated By This Movie Dan I Like I Just Don't Know How To Explain The Movie Takes Place In Hungary It's Not Like It Takes Place You Know In Tulsa Oklahoma And These Are All Hungarian Actors Speaking English Like

[00:16:19] Kudos To All Of These Actors Because The The Amount Of Like Just Bravado To Just Do All Of This In What's Clearly Most Of Most Of Their Second Languages Would Be My Guess Like Good On Them Right And I'm Sure A movie In English Probably Gets Them The Opportunity To Stream More Places And Make More Money But Like Imagine Like To My Knowledge Chris Palaha And Britt Bristow Do Not Speak Spanish Imagine Like We Had Them In The United States Of America Doing A Christmas Movie But Every Line Of Dialogue Is In

[00:16:49] Spanish And Then They Market That To A Spanish Speaking Audience Like The Problem With The Movie Is Everyone Is Earnestly Trying To Speak Their Best English And That Should Be Commended Because They're Making A Movie That They Want To Stream To Americans But The Result Of That The Flip Side Is Is That A Movie That These People Look Like They're Pretty Dynamic And Charming And I Don't Mind Reading Subtitles I Get The Feeling If

[00:17:28] I The The Chore For Them It's That You're In Hungary I Would Love Travels To Hungary As As The

[00:17:57] daughter or granddaughter of immigrants so it's like there's a that's a story and and her she probably has a certain level of hungarian that she can operate with and how how and if it becomes the thing where like they just speak english or because her hungarian sucks then great but it just it's like magically you land everyone speaks english and the and so then the problem becomes either the two options are they're speaking english and the words are kind of coming together

[00:18:23] and they're speaking very quickly or and this happens more often the movie just screeches to a standstill as the dialogue is so incredibly i give a line you wait a beat you give a line and so it becomes just an impossible watch because you have to as brand said it's 95 minutes and you have to i wanted to lock in and hear what they were saying and it becomes very difficult because all i'm thinking

[00:18:51] is i'm trying really hard here but i would rather you speak hungarian in hungary like it makes sense that you would do this that everyone in the market isn't going to speak english you know and so boy and then even if we get past that big hurdle the movie sucks on its own right like she to learn to re alon's already said this but to learn to re-get the spirit of christmas in her own life

[00:19:15] she basically takes the last living vestige of her grandmother's memory of her husband and just gives it away and doesn't tell her and thinks that's going to be like pretty tough and then she has to pitch like you know big bad voodoo daddy's manager to get to get this i don't know like i just it was a very very tough watch and an unfortunate situation all the way around uh it's time for all the feels where we talk about what in this movie gave us feels i'll start with you alonzo

[00:19:50] uh i wasn't prepared for this question yeah um i do love a christmas market i do want to go to a christmas market this was like a nice one this is not bad as movie christmas markets go it looked pretty elaborate and put together and like maybe even a real one yes um that's about it that's good that's enough i uh we only asked for one i uh i did love that as she's up on this stage pitching

[00:20:19] this guy uh hungarian walt disney i did like that uh alonzo that you coined that um uh that it did look quite cold and incredibly windy i was having a blast watching the christmas trees in the back just about fall down because of the wind i was really enjoying that i was cold i was i was cheering for a tree to fall down we don't get enough winter in these movies right yeah so it did look cold and

[00:20:45] uh the only thing that would have made that seem better is if one of the trees actually did fall down because that's the real that's the real deal that's the real deal like oh well that's there's that's that like like in the keeper sutherland movie that's exactly that's exactly right about that exactly uh daniel yeah i do have feels in this movie this movie is very low budget and clearly has a lot of problems but somehow still manages to iPhone better than hallmark which is still crazy to me they have her with her iPhone using the actual camera app and while she's trying to zoom in on

[00:21:15] an ornament or something her mom calls and it is the actual iphone mom calling and she hits answer and actually just holds it up and talks to her and it's like that was so easy it was so easy to do how is hallmark this bad at iPhone iPhone will let you use their product placement for free as long as the character using it is the protagonist that is known you don't have to pay them any money and

[00:21:39] hallmark still can't figure it out it's weird one person video one person calling it's super imposed on the screen this movie with no money to work with does it so easily and so smoothly that you wouldn't notice it if you hadn't watched 500 hallmark movies so shout out to 12 toys of christmas there you go all right let's take a break we'll come back with the way what and the what the

[00:22:27] she is told by hilarious uh there's room in life for more than work and it's worth mentioning again that hilarious owns a factory that's right that's right so i'm thinking maybe you're not that chill about you know you i don't think you leave the office at the office if you own the factory and so maybe you're not the guy to dole out these bromides about uh what she does with her life um

[00:22:53] i am really baffled by the grandparents and their role in the christmas market and their role in coming to america every christmas yeah brain had these questions too like they have they have this booth and they run this booth and they have to be in this booth and the grandmother is currently the woman who runs the market and she doesn't want hilarious to take over because she wants to run the market and yet every year until now she and her husband would go to

[00:23:22] america for christmas and i don't get how you could do those two things it's crazy and also it's crazy that apparently he always hoped that they would come there for christmas like did grandpa grandpa ever voice this desire for the family to come like it's crazy to me that this was her evidently her first time yeah she never i don't think she's ever been to pace at all or if she certainly never

[00:23:48] at christmas that's insane that's insane insane that that is not how having grandparents in europe works trust me and i also am like why the mom seems like just like it's not my problem like the granddaughter is going to go deal with it but why isn't the mom over there with her mom why is she's got cookies to make i don't get it like it's your mom and your dad has passed away you're not going to go over there

[00:24:14] and be like we really want to see like yeah she's got a party to host all the time yeah she's always hosting a party i don't know if you heard when april never comes off apron cookies music people she's it's a non-stop it's the it's the deck the homework marathon of christmas parties yeah and it's not like the hungarian traditions aren't important to this family and it's like the mom still has an

[00:24:41] incredibly thick hungarian accent and so does her daughter who's never been to hungary before in the first place like you would think that it would be important to them right to show them where they came from i don't even know that they went to hungary for the funeral do they mention that i don't think so that's crazy it's crazy yeah he got buried in america yeah they all know really great english i think

[00:25:05] they just don't they want to be known as that i guess so okay laszlo horbath the the hungarian walt disney in this movie uh i was i was never entirely clear until the end when he finally shows up is he still in hungary or has he moved to hollywood because they talk about how like you know he started making movies in hollywood and they got less good and blah blah blah and then he talks about how he's getting no now he wants to come to pace because he wants to see the market and all that

[00:25:34] stuff and i'm like but where is he this tells me a lot about this character i thought that's why she went to hungary yeah yes me too but then when she gets there they talk about how he's gone hollywood and i'm like do you mean literally or just figuratively he's gone hollywood okay without without leaving budapest anything uh uh oh yeah no there's more um she talks about like somebody's i wrote down that somebody

[00:26:04] marvels at the trees and the snow and then they of course they say this at a moment where there is no snow anywhere no none none zero um okay so our our heroine who we are constantly told works too hard at the beginning of the movie is scolded by her boss because her her desk is covered with christmas

[00:26:29] decorations and cocoa and whatnot i would posit that you are either the obsessed with christmas lady or the obsessed with work lady you can't i don't think you get to be both you can't be both i think if you're obsessed with christmas then you have some perspective on things and if you're the obsessed with work lady you have the clean desk and you're you know elenizer or whatever but like i don't i i

[00:26:54] don't think you get to have both of those arrows in your workaholic christmas addict are two circles that don't intersect no it's not a bit there's unless you're a mall santa yeah i guess but like that maybe that person just paying the bills i don't know that's a christmas addict but i like i just yeah that you're right i don't think those two things go together at all yeah um so she uh the the two of them go into the the workshop and she sees the toys and he suggests that you know he says that the

[00:27:23] grandfather always like to give them out you know and she's like oh great we'll give them out and it'll be great and he goes no we can't just give the toys to random people and then they proceed to give the toys to random people it's crazy yeah because they because they they try to decipher the logbook which turns out to be the grandmothers they do all this stuff and they just hand them out to folks they encounter along the way it's like looks pretty random to me seem random just just a

[00:27:52] bit and then for the grandmother you know maybe if if these toys are so special to her and she has big plans for handing them out at the christmas market maybe don't leave them in the otherwise shuttered and abandoned workshop yeah yeah maybe move them into the house and put them on a shelf somewhere so you know they matter yeah how did you not pick up on the fact that these were near and dear to me yeah i kept them in the couldn't have been further away i kept them in the dusty warehouse

[00:28:19] they were in the shed by the spiderwebs yeah come on how could you not um i love she calls her mom to tell her that she's going to hungry uh you know to or she might you know uh for whatever reason she might be going to hungry for work or whatever um and then her mom says that's what i wanted to talk to you about you didn't call her you didn't call her you can't say that's what i that's what i wanted

[00:28:47] to talk to you about if you didn't call that's what i want to be like while you're here while you're here yeah i've been meaning to i've been meaning yeah oh funny coincidence yeah um i did find it uh interesting that literally nobody i think in the history of film laughs more than the driver in this movie whose name is hilarious by the way he ends literally every line by going ha ha it's right

[00:29:15] it's crazy yeah it is and that's why they call him hilarious is given name that's right uh maybe it's a nickname maybe it's a nickname um there's a really weird like fade to black scene here where it's and it would be it's like you're seeing me right now if you're watching on youtube right fade to black and then just back to the same exact shots and like the only difference is that she's holding

[00:29:40] cookies now it's like they couldn't figure out how to get the cookies into her hand what if we fade to black yeah that's an easy way to do it everybody close your eyes just close your eyes and cookies she goes outside to take the phone call and she's in the woods and she hears a sound and she couldn't she couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from which is above her she's like looking to the left and the right what like i feel like if somebody was going from above

[00:30:09] my head i would look up right am i crazy three amigos inspired there your ears would register look up here um i can't tell you how hard i laughed at the earnestness in which this line was said i can't change the toy world from the outside she says as earnestly as possible i can't change the toy

[00:30:34] world from the outside i love it it's such a funny line to me for some reason um you gotta you gotta wonder who are those people singing for uh they come across these singers no one near them i don't know they're just out there singing just for the love of it uh and then crash out i thought it was rehearsals yeah it's rehearsals outside of the freezing cold rehearsal um it's like you know how you they send you to colorado to to you know run so you you're used oh yes that's exactly right

[00:31:03] yeah it's practice right now practice um and then here comes uh my crash out she's now been fired by this lady twice okay once on the phone she got her job back immediately that's right thankfully and then another time after the pitch goes bad that's right she then goes ahead and pitches her original idea which were these wooden toys right and a way to honor her

[00:31:28] grandfather and it goes well and then her old boss is like you can come back to work and she says would love to girl no you you don't need her just do it yeah you if this guy likes your idea you can figure it out you can build the toys you can do whatever this person

[00:31:53] has fired you twice in this movie what makes you think that she's going to honor that at all and not fire you at any point in time that she wants to it was crazy to me that she said okay i'll come back to work for you after this what this woman you're not you're not wrong i just didn't beat she can't change the toy world from the outside i guess that's the whole thing yeah but i think she can i

[00:32:23] really think she can i've been beaten into complacency by that point i i i'm like you're right i just don't know how you care this much i but good for you dude proud of you i honestly i thought it was going to be like uh sorry you missed your cross shove it you didn't believe in this idea now you're not going to get it like crazy i couldn't believe it dano here's a weird thing that happens in this movie there's uh three generations of women uh grandmother mother and daughter and in this case the younger

[00:32:51] the the female is the more of a hungarian accent they have so all these people alonzo alonzo gets all these people all these people descend from hungary but the granddaughter has a thick hungarian accent who grew up in america who grew up in america the mom who

[00:33:16] migrated over she has a little bit of an accent and the grandma who is steadfastly lived in budapest probably probably probably says it budapest no no no no page is the name of the town oh page oh come on it she has no accent at all somehow the accent gets stronger the further from hungary you go it's it's performative it's like when madonna moved to england and suddenly started yeah like your

[00:33:43] grandmother alonzo she spoke the king's english right she had a very kind of flat midwestern yeah like i just couldn't get over the fact that you're pitching me all of these women from hungary who are progressively getting further geographically from hungary but having a stronger accent that's tough man that's tough the mom who's too busy hosting parties to go and visit her mom so the the

[00:34:12] mom in this movie is routinely taking phone calls from her daughter and her daughter is just finished dinner and her mom is hosting a christmas party i assume in the middle of the afternoon in the states right so her mom not only is she hosting a christmas party every day but they're all taking place at like 1 p.m um which is just a wild thing yeah there's like about a nine hour yeah nine hour at least from

[00:34:37] east coast probably six or seven and from west coast eight or nine so that's like that's insane that's an insane thing to do um this woman's boss who does fire her twice sits at her pristine desk with an airline pillow around her neck i don't know why that is like i've seen chairs that have a little pillow thing i've never she's about to go to london i think the implication is she's about to leave for

[00:35:30] me right now and again i think if we had been told if we'd been given some indication of what bobita even is that's right yeah does it look like pikachu does it look like lady and the tramp like give me a hint of what the toy is supposed to be representing the one time we see multiple of them they look like they're from like the conjuring universe they look so incredibly terrifying that child can't even feign excitement they're like wow it looks great i'm gonna have to go say 10 hail marys i just like

[00:36:00] i can't it's look honey we made you an annabelle seriously man you want to convince me plastic and apps should be out make a better toy these look awful that's all i got brie it's time for what the homework is where you wonder what could have been maybe how it gets to clear any questions we still have what are we still wondering about that's what this segment's for i'll start with you alonzo

[00:36:22] are they do they say that the third generation hungarian american is moving back to hungary to make these toys because she says the boss says you have full control over the hungarian office gotcha so she's going to be in hungary okay with the dude right so maybe you know over the course of that she actually learns more hungarian and then magically everyone around her will stop speaking

[00:36:48] that would be amazing i my favorite and when i say favorite i mean my absolute least favorite tactic is uh brian singer's valkyrie i don't know if you remember this where tom cruise plays a german soldier trying to assassinate hitler but talks with an eye patch just like tom cruise but what they do at the beginning of the movie is is the character speaking in german and they go real close and as they zoom out it transforms to english like this thing ah it's the worst which is which is hilarious if you've seen

[00:37:17] mel brooks's remake of to be or not to be because the the beginning of the movie is him and uh and bancroft they're playing like vaudevillians and they're singing sweet georgia brown in polish and then they have they start having an argument backstage in polish and then this voice booms out attention the remainder of this film will be in english and they switch that's great that's and so that's

[00:37:42] what i thought of when i saw valkyrie yeah when valkyrie happens i'm like all right what are we doing what are we doing yeah i don't know i kind of appreciate that like i appreciate at least like hey we're not gonna this is just this is we know you we know that they would that's right yeah so we're gonna do a little bit here good for you um i uh i i i gotta know about this this christmas treehouse

[00:38:08] this is a magical treehouse it looks beautifully decorated it does seem like it is in the middle of the woods though it does like is this generator powered christmas light is it a long extension cord i love it it it it could have also very well easily been my feels but uh it does also seem like it's in the middle of the woods so that is one heck of an extension cord and i appreciate the commitment if that's what they did or is emma going up there and just cranking the generator

[00:38:39] christmas cheer and i'll tell you when that wind at the end of the movie starts like good luck good luck out there you don't want to be up there no you do not dano you know bray and i are always kicking the tires on making a christmas movie like always so we were just i guess waiting for some benefactor to show up with a half million dollars and like for it to get for us to get it going though we've never asked anyone but we're always like interested in how the model of these movies makes about this guy out in texas who's making 20 of these or whomever right denise yeah yeah denise

[00:39:08] monet uh my my the guy printing monet the guy i see what you did the guy that i went to high school with he made the movie in triumph he just got hired to direct a nicely picture oh good for him and he's the trailer came out for that today but this movie putting it in with all english speakers what did that do for the bottom line the clearly the movie was made in hungary right so like and i it was my as i was on the under the working assumption everyone's speaking english so we can

[00:39:37] put it on tubi and zumo and all these places i would love to know the cost of this movie in hungary and then how having it as an english-speaking movie what it did for the bottom line of the the money-making process i'm very very interested by that that is my actual real what the hallmark i i suspect that if you're making a movie in spanish and maybe even french you can like work that with with streamers you know because you've got large spanish-speaking market you've got like

[00:40:06] quebec but i think hungarian would be a tougher sell for your tubis and whatnot i'd love to know did they like shoot this movie twice and like do the same scene again just in hungary question i should have there's air or not all the marks of the whole thing you know why with the actors speaking in their first language i would love to see that version of the movie i bet you it's 15 minutes shorter like like just seriously it has to be yeah uh that'd be nicely
