BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS

We're in Essex, England in 1428 and a knight is on a horse. He's Sir Griffin de Beauford and he makes a wish upon some stars. The stars end up coming together and he suddenly turns to stone!

We meet Emily Porter who helps curate a museum and they just got a new entry - a statue that was found out in a field after hundreds of years. Emily gets to work on cleaning him up. While cleaning him up, she sees some words engraved on it that say he'll only wake up after a kiss. She's like why the heck not and kisses him right on the lips and wouldn't you know it but he comes right to life. She quickly moves him to her apartment and he's shocked by cars and running water. After helping people like a knight does, she takes him to a medieval festival. He learns about the history of his people and it really throws him for a loop. Apparently his rival ended up marrying his ex-girlfriend. So that's tough. She tells him that history says that he disappeared on his wedding day. They start getting real close to each other. The sparks are flying. She gives him her hair tie for luck and he gives her his new hat.

But things aren't all on the up and up - her ex-husband is suspicious of this guy and as an FBI agent, he decides he's just gonna start an investigation because the armor is missing from the museum.

Bad news, he's slowly starting to turn to stone. Unless he gets a kiss from his true love, he'll turn to stone forever. Luckily, Emily loves him.

He ends up getting arrested but she helps get him released. He runs away cuz he's turning to stone but she finds him and kisses him. No more stone for that guy!

4 months later, they're doing medieval reenactments together and they're gonna go on a world tour!

[00:00:04] This is a Bramble Jam Podcast. Alright, okay. That'd be good. Hi, I'm Brian! I love Hallmark Fowl Movies! I'm Brian, I like Hallmark Movies. I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark Fowl Movies and this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast! Deck the Hallmark, it's this podcast. My friends host this podcast.

[00:00:33] We hope you like this jolly podcast! Well, well, well, hello everyone! How are we today? Are we doing well? How can you be upset with that intro, you know what I mean? How can you be upset with that intro? How can you be upset with Kringles R.A.? How can you be upset when it's October? How can you be upset when Christmas movies are a mere 12-ish days away?

[00:01:02] That's crazy! We're almost single digits days away from Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel, from the marathon this year. Very excited! This is the time where I really start to, the rest of the year I suck. Yeah, well, I mean, we've been talking. We didn't want to say that. I'm not fun, you had to bring that up, not us. I'm not a good person. No, no, by no means. I'm not actively mean. Oh, terrible. October strikes! And I, everything... Start to turn, that's right.

[00:01:32] Santa, I've been okay this year. Yeah, I gotta be honest, the pumpkin caramel I thought was the star of the Kringle holiday or autumn favorites for me. But the apple cinnamon? Yeah. Bam! That's true. Amazing as well. That's true. You need to get a hold of all those autumn flavors before we pivot to the festive flavors. That's right, and you can use that promo code DTHOCT26 all through this month, and then keep a special ear out for some different promos throughout the month as well.

[00:01:59] And maybe even if you're listening to Gilmore the Marrier or listening to Christmas morning, you might hear different stuff there too. You might hear different stuff there too. Just compare, contrast. There might even be, maybe even some fun marathon Kringle stuff. That's true. And play this year. Just compare. Marathon next week, Brian. Next Friday, 6 p.m. Friday night, Saturday. Some are saying too soon. 6 p.m. Eastern. Many are saying too soon. None are saying it. 6 p.m. Eastern is when we're going to be starting things off.

[00:02:25] We will of course draft our movies, which will be a lot of fun. Be ready to open up those wallets and give generously, I can tell you that. Do we have a non-profit that we're willing to put on the record yet? Not yet. We're close. Close though. Close to finalizing that. We're busy with the Kringle deal. Listen, when you're giving out $30,000 plus in a single 24 hour live stream, the non-profits come out of the woodworks. They heard about your generosity and we said, oh, you think that was good?

[00:02:54] Wait until you see this year when we give over $50,000. That's insanity. That's a promise. Yeah, put it away. When we get... Put it away, Bray. Put it away. When the people, when the devil deckles... What? Devil deckles? Devil deckles give over 50... We just lost many. When the double deckers give over $100,000 in just 24 hours. It's unbelievable. Can we maybe keep some of that? Yeah, can we... If we... Skim off the top. I will say, if we make $100,000, we'll skim off the top. No one will know.

[00:03:24] What an incentive for people to give. We don't take a dime, but if you guys give $100,000... We'll put it in writing. The phones are lighting up. Anything over $100,000 is ours. Okay? Yeah, okay. We'll skim off the top. Never hurt anybody. It is great to be here. We're talking about a knight to remember. That's K-N-I-G-H-T. Oh, I see what they did there. What's the language of origin? English? Old English? Wrigley! For those that don't know, of course I know this, and everybody that's been listening

[00:03:53] for a long time knows this, but Wrig, actually, I met you. That's right, you met me. I met him at the Spelling Bee Competition. At the Spelling Bee Competition. You were the judge. Phibs. Phibs Spelling. I was there to cheer on some friends. You were there too. Yes, you had children friends you were cheering on. Yes, yes, you did. You came in, you were like, I'm here to see the children. No. My friends... Friendly branch. My friends' kids were in the competition. Yeah, years ago, before you had kids, you were like 22. Feeling it out.

[00:04:22] I worked at a church, Wrigley. You went to church. I had a lot of friends. That's right, yeah. Wrigley, you know a lot of words. I do. Your whole thing is... What's your favorite word, Brad? Butternut. Mine's Candelabra. Very good. But you were the guy who would say... Candelabra. Candelabra. You were the guy... Oh, pass me that Candelabra. That's exactly right. Perfect. That's what you would do. Candelabra. You would say the word that the kids had to spell. It's like Candelabra, but you add an A to it. You imagine a Candelabra.

[00:04:52] The kids can then... You point everywhere. ...ask questions, such as language of origin. Yes, correct. Use it in a sentence, et cetera. That is how I met you. I met him. And now I'm forgetting why I brought this up. I don't know. The word knight. That's right. What's the deal with the... There's a soft K in there. What's the deal with the soft K? Knight. Yeah. Yeah, it's from Scoobaville. The word knight is from Scoobaville?

[00:05:22] Scoobaville. That's right. It's an on-land underwater place. Soft K in that too. Soft K. Scoobaville. It's an on-land underwater place? Yeah, you get it. Scoobaville. I gotta be honest, but I don't get it. What does that mean? Scoobaville. Scoobaville. It's on-land underwater. How can it be both? You ever been... Your toes ever touch the sand, but you've been underwater?

[00:05:49] Have your toes ever touched the sand, and you've been underwater? Wait. Is this... Is Scoobaville... Have your toes ever... They have. Okay, and you've been underwater. Okay. But it's slowly being... On-land underwater. Or is the building okay? The building's fine. It's not being pulled out to sea? That's where knight comes from. Soft K. Did it mean the same thing? Little click in your... The knight. Knight. Reliant as well. Yes. Got it. Reliant K. That's right. Candelabra. Candelabra. Say it one time.

[00:06:19] Candelabra. That's the good stuff. Candelabra. That's better. We're getting there. Thank you, Wrigley. Love you, buddy. Love you, buddy. You doing anything big for the marathon this year? Oh, yeah. We got big plans. Yeah, we got a bonfire out back. Great. Yeah, yeah. We're just throwing trash. Bring your trash down. And whatever trash it'll burn, just chuck it in there. Plastics? It's fine. Yeah, man. Good for the environment. Fitzy's is still in the city, right? Yeah, city limits.

[00:06:49] I don't think you're allowed to burn your trash. Just bring your trash down. You just throw it in. It's great. I don't think you're allowed to do that. Yeah, we'll be drinking yellow shooters. What are yellow shooters? It's... You ever had yellow fever? No. No, because you've gotten a vaccine for it. I've got the vaccine. Like we all have, right? And so to... Even you? Yeah, man. To flaunt that we can't get yellow fever, we take shots of it. Oh.

[00:07:18] Yellow shooters by the bonfire. All right. Thank you, Wrigley. Yeah, thank you. All right, let's get to a night to remember. One of our weirder... October the 3rd, our first October movie, our second to last fall movie, our second to last non-Christmas movie for the rest of 2026. And it went a little something like this. We're in Essex, England in 1428.

[00:07:48] And a knight is on a horse. Very good. He's Sir Griffin de Beaufort. Griffin de Beaufort. Griffin de Beaufort. Griffin de Beaufort. And he makes... The sweetest chef wrote this movie. Griffin de Beaufort. Griffin de Beaufort. And he makes a wish upon some stars. The stars end up coming together, literally, and suddenly he turns into stone. Cut to the present, we meet Emily Porter, who helps curate a museum.

[00:08:17] And they just got a new entry for their big medieval thing they're doing. And it is a statue that was found on a field after hundreds of years. Emily gets to work on cleaning that bad boy up. While cleaning him up, she sees some words engraved into it that says basically that he'll only wake up after a kiss. A kiss will wake him up.

[00:08:47] Wake me up. Evanescent stuff. And she's like, oh, why the heck not? She does what I think we all would do in a situation like this. She kisses the stone. You know, guys, right? I mean, she kisses the stone. If you guys see a statue and it says it'll wake up with a kiss, would you kiss it?

[00:09:14] There's no world I'm putting my lips on a 600-year-old stone statue. Really? Can we wipe it off first? I don't think so, man. Squeaky and off. What texture? What surface is squeaking? The stone? The stone. Yeah. The stone is squeaking. It's the squeaky stone. Squeaky clean. All right. Whatever you said. Gets the cheese. That's exactly right. Squeaky clean gets the cheese. Anyway, she kisses him on the lips and wouldn't you know it, he comes right back to life.

[00:09:44] Evanescent style. Wake me up. She quickly moves him to her apartment, and he is blown away by all the things like cars and running water. After helping people like a knight does, she takes him to a medieval festival, and he learns about the history of his people, and it really throws him for a loop.

[00:10:09] Apparently, apparently, apparently I've never been on a roller coaster before. Apparently, his rival married his ex-girlfriend after he disappeared on his wedding day. That's tough. The two of these lovebirds, they start getting real close to each other. Sparks are flying, and she gives him her hair tie for luck, and he gives her his new hat.

[00:10:39] They're basically married now, but things aren't all on the up and up. Apparently, her ex-husband is suspicious of this new guy in relation to the fact that a giant statue went missing from the museum. So the FBI is on the case. Whew. Thank goodness. We escalated that ticket pretty quickly, didn't we? Federal. It's a federal investigation. Investigation by the borough.

[00:11:07] Investigation about the Renaissance knight situation. He decides he's going to start investigating this after the armor goes missing, and he's very suspicious of this fella. Bad news! Our guy is slowly turning back into stone, and unless he gets a kiss from his true love, he'll turn to stone forever. However, there are other rules here. He can't. It has to be an unprompted kiss from your true love.

[00:11:36] So you can't be like, hey, kiss me. I'm going to die. So that's tough. Luckily, though, Emily loves him after a day or two because of the homework rules. He ends up getting arrested, though, but she helps him get released, and he runs away because he's turning to stone. But she finds him and kisses him. No more stone for that guy. Four months later, they're doing medieval reenactments together, and they're going to go on a world tour.

[00:12:04] And that, my friends, was A Night to Remember. Good. That's good pronunciation, Brian. We did it. We are going to take a break, and we're going to come back. We're going to break this movie down here on Deck the Hallmark. Welcome back, everybody. Welcome back to Deck the Hallmark, presented by... We've seen Danish Kringles. That's right.

[00:12:34] We're talking about A Night to Remember. It's time for us to share our thoughts, and we're not going to hold back. We're not going to hold back this time. We've seen your complaints. People are thinking that we're starting to hold back. Really? We're not going to do that anymore. We're not going to do that, especially this guy. No. Especially Brian. No way, no how. We're going to start with you, Brian. What did you think of A Night to Remember? First of all, Matty Finocchio. Yeah. Shout out Matty. Shout out Matty. So glad to see Matty. Always good to see Matty Finocchio. So excited for him. Yeah. So that was great.

[00:13:03] I was really excited about the fish out of water of this all, and I feel like they... Didn't do it. Yeah, like slow rolled it. Like really unassuming stuff. Yeah. It was just like not... It wasn't hammered in our faces about like the wittiness of it or how awkward it would be. And so I don't know. I felt like we were just kind of like skating through it. And I was kind of bummed about that, that it was just very... It felt way too calm and slow.

[00:13:30] Like I thought it should have been more exciting and more fun and more energy. So it was just okay for me, unfortunately. I started the audio book, and I'm probably almost three quarters of the way through. I haven't finished yet. But I'm really liking the book version of this. Book's better. Yeah. I would say the book is better in this specific case. I did like how Griffin was learning some stuff about his past. I kind of wish we got more of that. Like him... Her explaining to him what had happened since he had gone... You know, what happened in his life with the people... See, what had happened.

[00:14:00] What had happened was... I thought that was a cool little angle. There wasn't a lot of it, though. Like her explaining to him his family history would have been really cool. But yeah, just... I wanted a little more energy, a little more funny, a little more excitement. So just okay for me. Yeah, I don't disagree overall. I do wish that they spent more time with Fish Out of Water, and I wish that that stuff was more fun.

[00:14:21] We really honestly only get him being amazed by car and him being amazed by plumbing, which, too, very important thing. Yeah. Sure. But he was always very proper because he's a knight, right? So even in his shock and awe, he's like, you know, wow. How goes it? So it's like, you know, it wasn't as silly and fun as I maybe hoped. But overall, I liked the general idea of this movie.

[00:14:52] I thought that the two leads worked together by and large. And I did enjoy myself. I honestly, if you had asked me at the beginning of Fall into Love, would I like the knight coming to life movie more than the pumpkin regatta race? I would have said, of course I would. And it's as if I don't even know myself.

[00:15:15] Give me last week's pumpkin regatta race movie over the night movie, which I know you guys might not be with me there. I was significantly higher on pumpkin regatta than you guys were. But I loved that movie last week. It gave me everything that I want in a fall movie. And this movie, it did have some fun elements, but it could have been so much more fun. Just let Finocchio cook. Yeah.

[00:15:38] So I, if you had told me that the movie where the 600-year-old knight comes to life was going to be a solemn affair, I would have just said, there's just no way. Even in our chat, BrambleJamPlus.com, somebody's like, I think there's just the issue with this kind of time travel fish out of water movie is there's never going to be enough time for hijinks. And I just don't know if I agree with that. Made to Order had all the hijinks. So good. You do have time for hijinks.

[00:16:03] This is less a fish out of water story, more a fish out of water back into other water very quickly movie. I mean like. Like on ground underwater, if you will. Yeah, you get on land underwater even. Yeah, sure. You don't even, this guy adapts to present day and American style of dressing very, very quickly and easily. And the movie never takes advantage of this insane plot. Instead, they bring in the FBI.

[00:16:30] And I just don't, we didn't, we're here not for that. At least I wasn't. I'm not here to be like, are they going to get arrested by the federal government? I don't, we didn't need that. This movie was just kind of solemn and serious and unfortunately kind of boring. There's a couple moments where the two leads have chemistry. I'm not sure I love them necessarily.

[00:16:52] I think they're kind of hamstrung by the fact that the tone of the movie isn't what it should be if you read the plot on paper. I think the only one who occasionally gets that is Matty Finocchio. Who a couple scenes does get to cook in this movie. Everyone else is kind of stuck tonally imbalanced. And so if you ask me pumpkin regatta or this movie, I'll take neither. Not an option. But if that's not an option. I just heard.

[00:17:22] Give me the regatta. Barely. But give me the regatta. Wow, it's the regatta pump? Yeah. And I think Brian may make it a full, are you there? Yeah, three across the board. Full giant pumpkin boat? Yeah. About sake of the pump. Yeah, it's tough. To that point though, Dan, of like, so like I think the best friend, I'll go into my feels, right? Her best friend could have been super fun. Yeah.

[00:17:48] And there's like an element every once in a while where she's comedic relief, but like also very serious about the situation. But her hearing his backstory and then saying, I wish doctors read star charts today was really funny. And her delivery was great on it. And I loved it. But we just didn't get enough of that. I thought that she was fun. Yeah. But like make her super funny. She had, I think she has those chops.

[00:18:17] She was funny in the moments where they let her be funny. Same with Finocchio. Like the first Finocchio scene, we couldn't believe how like serious he was. Yeah, I think it's crazy that they just decided. It's so funny because when we don't have a supernatural weird premise, we'd love for them to try to be a little bit more serious. You don't say I love you after two days. You don't do that. Like that's not how any life really works. But if you have a supernatural premise, then we would love for you to be silly. Like it just doesn't match up.

[00:18:47] They're very serious on how are we going to hide the 600-year-old knight and how are we going to cover and run interference and not let the FBI catch us? And it's like that's just not the tenor of the movie. So, yeah, I agree with you 100%. Brian? Yeah. Any feels? Yeah. Actually, when they did that, it was like a mini jousting scene when he got the lady's bag back. Yeah. I thought that was really great. Like it was really funny and fun to watch. That robbery taking place in broad daylight with 20 people watching. Yeah, right in front of the police.

[00:19:17] Yeah, yeah, yeah. It was just like that was the kind of crazy and lunacy I wanted. Like that's not ever going to happen. But they did that. And that was a little nutshell of like what I wanted this whole movie to be. That was almost your favorite word. Nutshells close to butter nut. Butternut. Very close. Candelabra, not even in the ballpark there. Unfortunately. Dan, how many feels for you? Yeah, two actually. One, I appreciate. There is one Chicago hot dog thing that they do. And I would have preferred they not do that.

[00:19:43] But I appreciated that this movie set in Chicago, Illinois just doesn't try to Chicago at all. Like I would much prefer that than like Paris is always a good idea and they're all from Boston and they use it as a big part of this. Like the Duncan of it all and the socks of it all and nobody and some of them have an accent. Some of them don't. This movie is just like, yeah, we're all in Chicago, but we all speak the same way and they don't try to make it this. There's a weird Cubs hat that isn't a Cubs hat in this movie. And there's a Chicago dog thing. But by and large, they steer clear of that.

[00:20:12] But the better one for me is the one time that I was appreciative of the tone of the movie is when her FBI agent, ex-husband, tries to get back with her. And he basically like grabs her hand and he like basically says he wants to be back with her. And she like doesn't have this internal crisis. She doesn't go, oh my gosh, what should I do? She just looks him in the eye and says, I don't feel the same way anymore, Tom. I should get going. That's it.

[00:20:41] Full stop. Done. How great was that? For her to be like, no, not for me. And that was probably the best this movie was in all honesty. Okay. Let's take a break. We'll come back. We'll get to the weight one, the what the hallmark here on. The hallmark. We all started it different. We did. Yeah. It's impressive. It's fine. We'll make it through. Yeah. Okay. All right. I actually had someone make that for us. It's going to play every time.

[00:21:12] I hate it. We didn't pay for it, right? No. Not like money. He's thinking about it. No. He's got to check the email. I'll check the emails. It could be nothing. It could be hundreds. Probably a subscription. It could be nothing. It could be hundreds. Let's get to the weight what. This is where we talk about what in this movie. It's going what. But I'll start with you, Mr. Brian. Sure. I'll begin. Not a lot for me. Weird. Weirdly. Because everything is on the table in a situation like this where everything is supposed to be weird.

[00:21:42] But I thought that the interlibrary loan system here in Greenville was pretty good until we got to look at the intermuseum loan system here in Chicago where this stuff shows up. All you have to do is fill out the subject line of a request and type urgent. And then slam your laptop shut. And a day or whatever later, it just shows up. Pristine shape. It's unbelievable. Yeah. They just have it ready to go. So that was a really smooth system they got going.

[00:22:09] The FBI, like you said, I don't think they had to be involved in this. I just fundamentally don't know how we got here. In the book, it's like a bigger deal. And I think the FBI is involved in the book, which makes sense because there's like interstate stuff and all this. Yeah. The FBI gets involved when it's interstate or when there's something that's a more federal like. Yeah. Sure. I get that. But just for this, they shoehorned in her ex.

[00:22:38] Why can't he just be a detective? He could have been. He absolutely could have been. Chicago PD. 100% could have been. I don't understand. Yeah. Which actually would have been better because it would have been more Chicago stuff. Well, yeah. And Matty or whoever calls the detective straight up because he knows him. Exactly. Yeah. He's like, hey, like this thing got stolen. It would have made a lot more sense. It makes a lot of sense. We're going to get the federal agents involved. I think you could say it's because this is a thing that's going to travel from museum to museum. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I guess that's how they did that. It just seemed to not fit. Yeah.

[00:23:06] And her walking into the FBI station and just literally walking in and being like, get them, let them out of here. It just felt like, yeah, it's, it felt not at a high. Yeah. And it felt not FBI. Correct. Oh, the last thing I'll mention was just what a weird circular window they have in the ceiling where they looked out at the very end to see the stars. Yeah, man. Yeah. They just looked up. Skylight. It was like porthole. Yeah. It was the ceiling. Skylight, man. It was the weirdest window I think I've ever seen. I love a ceiling. I love a skylight.

[00:23:36] You love a ceiling. Do you? I love a ceiling. I love a ceiling. I love a ceiling. I love a ceiling. A window. A winding. Why not combine? A winding, a ceiling, all beings really. I want you all to know I live in a house. Yes. A dwelling. A dwelling. A dwelling, yep. Which is bigger than apartments. That's right. I don't have a single closet in my entire house. That's right. That I could safely store. Night equipment. Night armor. Night equipment. That's right.

[00:24:06] Night armor. Night armor. And she does. She had plenty of shelf space. That closet's nuts. It's so big. In this apartment complex in Chicago where she claims she's not rich. That's right. And I would say having closet where you can safely store armor begs to differ, ma'am. That's a big closet. You know what else begs to differ? That entire apartment. Right. Yeah, big apartment. I mean, there's her going, no, this isn't my home. I'm not wealthy.

[00:24:35] I live in an apartment in here. In Chicago, Illinois, if you have that apartment, congratulations, you made it. You made it. You are wealthy. I'd have to split up every part of the armor into different parts. Which actually might be better. Sure. The shelf space alone. You wouldn't see it all. I mean, I got an attic. I can probably put it in there. Yeah. But the shelf space she had just readily available. I don't know if that's right. I'll put it there. There you go. Crawl space? Yeah, for sure. A little crawl space. Yeah.

[00:25:06] You joked about it, Dan, but there is a moment where a guy decides, sees a group of people in the middle of the day with police around and says, now's the time to steal a purse. And that's a crazy move. If not now, when? You have everything that's about to come to you, sir. You are asking for it, to steal a purse in that specific situation. You really needed to steal a purse. I need it now. It could have been a dare. Try anywhere else. Anywhere else, yeah.

[00:25:36] Anywhere else with less people would have been better ROI on that. Sure, absolutely. ROI and robbery. I don't like the scene where- Robbery, return on investment. Yes, exactly. ROI. ROI. Hey. That's my favorite word. Have you found yourself struggling to find a good ROI? Give us a call.

[00:26:01] I did not like the singing scene in this movie. No. Yeah. Mainly because he's screaming. He was screaming. He was screaming. And I think they're trying to make it to where later he's like, I'm not a very good singer, but I love it. Sorry, it didn't work. This is very, very difficult to watch. It was a very weird, uncomfortable scene that I did not like. And last but not least, I did find it interesting that the end of this movie does take place four months into the future, right? Yeah. Okay?

[00:26:32] Finocchio goes up to him and on his way out goes, are you sure that we haven't met before? And I think you can't say that anymore after four months. Yeah. Like, you say it the first time you meet somebody. Have we met before? Right. And maybe the week after, you go, just to be sure. Are you sure we haven't met? Four months is more than a quarter. Four months is a quarter of a year. Nope. It's a third of a year. It's a quarter of the year. Oh, it's three months, buddy. It's a quarter of the year. It isn't. How we do quarters.

[00:27:02] No, no, no. How we do quarters here. Here, it could be any amount of time. Thank you. Yes. You understand what I'm saying. It's a preview show. So he... Totally, we're in Q2. I just don't... We're on a different calendar. He's almost definitely seen him multiple times in that four months, right? 100%. It is a very interesting thing to then go, just... Can I just one more time? You think he says it every day? Yeah. Maybe he says it every day. Just to be sure. We met him before. It's a little joke. We met before. It's a long time. I think he's passed the statue. There's a little bit.

[00:27:32] Statues. Oh, good one, man. All those limitations just up. Dan? Yeah, the medieval parchment paper they have from 600 years ago looks better than the paper currently in that printer under there in our office. It used to be better. It's unbelievable. Papers changed. Yes, papers changed. It's very, very impressive. We talked about how the FBI shouldn't be involved here. Even if, let's say they should. Let's argue that they should. Sure, of course, yeah. You can't break into people's houses. No, it was terrible. I know it's your ex-wife. That makes it worse, actually.

[00:28:02] This guy should be in jail. Not FBI jail. Just good old-fashioned police jail. He breaks into her house. And it is never a point of, hey, you remember when you broke the law back there? Like, all the evidence is now inadmissible, sir. I don't, like, you can't do that. Why are we like, well, it was her ex? Of course he's going to break in. Yikes. Nah, bro. This is worse trait. Yeah.

[00:28:30] Imagine everyone else who shows up for this festival ready to sword fight or shoot a bow and arrow. They go every year. It's fun. Maybe I'll catch a bullseye. Maybe I'll win the sword thing. Maybe I'll blah, blah, blah. And you leave like you got hit by a truck. You leave and you're just like, I didn't see it coming. I didn't see it coming. I don't know what happened. I've been training all year. I've been training all year. And then out of nowhere, it's like this guy was from back in time. Couldn't believe it.

[00:28:59] He just showed up and he took over. It's tough, man. It was just like a tornado came through. It's crazy that no one's questioning. Like, do they bring in a ringer to the Ren Fair? That's funny. Julie Gonzalo at one point is trying to give an emotional speech and instead says this line, which Brian did not believe me that she says. She says Griffin says what he means and he means it. I don't know why that last part is needed there.

[00:29:29] Griffin says what he means and he means it. I don't think it's possible to say what you mean without meaning it. He says what he means. I suspect what she. And he means it. I suspect she meant to say. Does what he says. Does what he says and he means it. Does what he says. Means what he says and he does it. I don't know. There's got to be another. You can't just go back to the well twice with means it. He means what he says. He means what he says. And on top of that. And he says it.

[00:29:58] And he means what he says. And he means it. And he says it. And he's still meaning. And he means what he says. Yeah, it's a mess out there. That's all I got. It's time for more Wood Hallmark. It's where we wonder what could have been. Maybe I haven't got so clear the question we still have. What are we still wondering about? I'll start with you, Brian Guy. Yeah, I'm just wondering if they have a can she hold this over him for the rest of his life? Like if he's being a little. I'm sure. And she's just like, hey, I'll turn you right back to stone. That conjunction is coming up soon. You better watch it. You better watch it.

[00:30:26] So, you know, how easy is it for him to turn back to stone? Yeah. Scary. Yeah. Tough life to live there. Especially like because they haven't read everything. Like there's probably more to it than just. True. You got to think if you can turn someone from stone, you can turn them back into it. Especially if they mean what they say. And they mean it. Yeah. I mean, I think it's pretty clear we got to know more about this world tour. Oh, that's where I am. What is it?

[00:30:55] What is the world tour? There's a reenactment that is performed by our two leads with 10 people watching. 10. And Matty Finocchio says it's so popular that we're going to take it on a world tour. What in the world tour is happening here? What are they doing? Are they showing up for that 10 second thing around the world? How many cities are clamoring for this big event? Is it only at museums?

[00:31:24] Do like museums all work? Museum Reciprocity. Yeah. You know, because like. They're not performing at like. The things at museums can go on tour, right? Yes. This museum is getting this suit and armor statue guy for a month. Come and see it. It's here for a month. I don't know how that works with museum reenactment. Maybe wherever the night goes. Although, I don't know. They don't have the night.

[00:31:54] They don't have the night. The night's gone. The night's gone. That's the whole thing. So, I don't know what that was. But we had it. It's time for Double Decker of the Week. Yeah, it is. We're talking about even the life of a double decker who has signed up for rainbowjamplus.com. And I got to be honest. I really think you should do that because we're heading into a busy, busy holiday season. We are. And what better way to enjoy the content than by also supporting us. I love that. We need to support. Yeah, we need it. Do you think we got any new subscribers after Rye's shout-out at his wedding and his vows? Dude, we need to talk about that.

[00:32:24] The guy guy during his vows to Alyssa at his wedding not only mentioned Deck the Hallmark by name, but also said, and this is in his vows. I'm not making this up. In his vows, you can join the best corner of the internet at bramblejamplus.com. That's in his vows to his betrothed. When he's watching that video back with his kids and family.

[00:32:53] You can join the best corner of the internet at bramblejamplus.com. We felt really seen. I got to be honest. A hundred people there. Felt like we're the only folks there. It's going to make letting him go when he gets back tough. It'll be tough. We were final firing him, and now it's like, oh, bro. We're in a tough spot. What are we going to do now? Put us in a tough spot. Sure did. What a wedding, though. It was a great wedding. A really lovely ceremony. Really lovely. Great. Do you have a favorite memory from the wedding, Dan? Because I have something that stands out.

[00:33:23] I have two or three great ones. The bride looked great. The bride was beautiful. The DJ with the saxophone. All live sax. Unbelievable. There was guys. So the DJ's doing his thing, right? Yeah. Playing music. This is weird. This normally starts the episode. I know. This is great. But I forgot to talk about it. Going from one song to the next, doing what DJs do. DJ had a saxophone player. Live in person. Live in person that would play along, do the song, and just kind of follow where the music was going.

[00:33:53] It was phenomenal. Yeah. One of the coolest things I've ever seen. The live instrument adds so much. Really impressive what he could do, and he was so good. But anyway, that person's not here. No, they're not. Double deckers are, though. Who do we have this week, Dan? Wow. Can't believe we didn't get to our favorite part. Maybe next week. Maybe next week. Good tease. Do you want it? The double decker of the week. The favorite part was clearly when we sat down for dinner. And brands in a very nice suit from Joseph A. Banks. Beautiful. Takes his jacket off.

[00:34:23] Short sleeve dress shirt. Short sleeve dress shirt. I, none of us, we weren't prepared. Nobody saw this coming. We weren't prepared. We had no idea. We didn't know how to act. We were. We acted wrongly. No. We couldn't. A regional appreciation sales manager lunch. I just couldn't. We couldn't get over it. Listen. All of us dummies in long sleeve dress shirts. And it was hot, too. It was hot. So he was smart.

[00:34:51] Bran was the one that outdid it. That's right. I think in the room. Yeah. Branny short sleeves over here. Branny short sleeves. Man. Phenomenal. What a time to be alive. Dan, you had to know I was going to do it. I did it in New Orleans, too. Yeah, but in New Orleans, that made sense. Yeah. It's so hot in New Orleans. Oh, man. And we're doing a... I didn't see it coming. I didn't. I didn't see it coming. You should have seen it. It was one of the greatest... And I'll be honest. I'll do it again. We know. And if you're a double decker in the Facebook group, you got picks. You got to see, yeah. Exactly. You got picks. Such a great... It just keeps giving because I'm still laughing about it. It's still...

[00:35:21] Yeah, still a good time for sure. Mr. Manager. There he is. So the double decker of the week this week is Amber Sayre. Bring me my dinner. Amber Sayre. Amber Sayre. Amber... Amber is the color of energy. Amber enjoys a little something to take the edge off before bed. Like some people. A little CBD gummy. No, sort of... I mean, maybe she'll get to that. She's trying stuff right now. Hasn't been sleeping well.

[00:35:51] She's trying different stuff. Different stuff. She's trying... Trying different stuff. The spectrum. Looking for advice, frankly, is what we're trying to do here. She's got like... She's looking for advice? Advice. Oh, advice. On some suggestions. She's looking for the right advice. Advice might not be a better... Advice. Like waking up kind of with neck pain. Oh, no. From... And like just like a headache from the nightcap she's been experimenting with.

[00:36:18] Can you in normal terms explain what's happening here? She just enjoys a nightcap before bed and it's just not really helping. Is it a cap? Is it an actual cap she's putting on her head, Brian? Or is it a drink? She's putting something on her head. Oh, no. And it's just a little uncomfortable. Why is she doing that if it's uncomfortable? Because she just wants to... She wants to have a nightcap for bed. Like just a dark, you know, thing over her head and just... She's got this suit of armor. She wants to put a dark thing over her head. Just darkness, you know?

[00:36:46] She's doing a nightcap. K-N-I-G-H-T. She's got some armor. Okay. And she's like, I'm going to try this nightcap. And she's putting a night's... A medieval knight's helmet on her head. Yeah. Because it's a nightcap. I wouldn't call that a cap. Oh, my God. So the advice she should be looking for is... Yeah, I had to do it for the bed. Okay. It is thematic with the movie, though. So this is something that she's trying. She's experimenting. Is it working? No. No. It's not working. That's a problem.

[00:37:16] What would you suggest instead? And so nightcap is not... I don't have a suggestion. This is a problem. She's just going hard nightcap, and that's the only thing she's been doing. It's just not working. Listen, sometimes you bring entrepreneurs. Sometimes you just bring issues. Problems with no solutions. No solutions. That's the double-decker of the week. You never know. I would suggest Amber not wearing that nightcap anymore. I mean, she could... Amber, try it without that. Where'd she find out about this? Yeah. Oh, she... I think she won it at an estate sale. And her first thought was actually... She's like, what do I do with this?

[00:37:45] I don't have the closet space. I'm just going to try. Maybe it'll help. Maybe it'll help. And it's not helping. It's not helping. So don't... I mean, wrong nightcap. Wrong nightcap. Maybe just try a drink. Maybe try a nightcap. One of those, like, Scrooge nightcaps. Or that as well. Any of those would work. Any of those would work. We do, everybody. Congratulations to us. We're going back tomorrow. Gilmore Season 3 is kicking off. Okay. We'll be here. Gilmore, marry your feet. All that good stuff.

[00:38:12] Thursday, come on back for Part 2 of our Hallmark Christmas Preview Extravagands. It's going to be a lot of fun. So come on back for that. Until then, maybe the first to wish you a...
