[00:00:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't ready.
[00:00:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Hi, I'm Brian and I love Hallmark Mystery.
[00:00:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm Brian and I like Hallmark Mystery.
[00:00:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark Mystery.
[00:00:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast.
[00:00:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Deck The Hallmark, it's this podcast.
[00:00:20] [SPEAKER_02]: With Dan and friends host this podcast.
[00:00:25] [SPEAKER_02]: We hope you like this jolly podcast.
[00:00:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Hello. Hello everybody.
[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back.
[00:00:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh boy, I don't even wanna.
[00:00:40] [SPEAKER_03]: God.
[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Alright, I just keep trying to get more out of this.
[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_03]: I should be drinking yours.
[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_03]: It's great to be here.
[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_03]: It's great to be here, yeah.
[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_03]: It's great to be here, welcome back.
[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_03]: You wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_03]: No, not today.
[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_03]: This is it.
[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Nowhere else?
[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Today on Wednesday?
[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_03]: This is the big show.
[00:00:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Hannah Swenson's 13th movie.
[00:00:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Is it?
[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I don't know.
[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_03]: You might be close.
[00:00:59] [SPEAKER_03]: I know that it's Allison Sweeney's 30th.
[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_04]: What day is today?
[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_04]: What day is today?
[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Is today Wednesday?
[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Today's Wednesday.
[00:01:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Today is Wednesday.
[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Thursday.
[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Today is Wednesday.
[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_04]: It is.
[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I know days are hard.
[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Today is Wednesday.
[00:01:13] [SPEAKER_04]: It's impossible.
[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Which is wonderful.
[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_04]: That means that...
[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Kids are definitely back in school.
[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, for sure.
[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_04]: So the Yankees are playing tonight?
[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_04]: That's right.
[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_04]: They split with the Royals.
[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_04]: They split!
[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_04]: And they are trying to get...
[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_04]: So you said there's no place you'd rather be than right here talking about Hannah Swenson's.
[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the morning.
[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the morning.
[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I know.
[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_04]: But let's say last night, hypothetically, I gave you tickets.
[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_04]: To a game in Kansas City.
[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_04]: And I guess you're gonna go to Kansas City and here's all expense paid.
[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm gonna do this by 6am.
[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_04]: No, but you don't have to miss it.
[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_04]: The flight is for...
[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Then I'm gonna miss it.
[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Then I'm gonna miss it.
[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_04]: You're right.
[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_03]: So I would rather be there, but I'm not...
[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_03]: You lie.
[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_03]: You lie.
[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_03]: No, like your words matter.
[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_03]: No, you've changed the rules.
[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_03]: There's no place I'd rather be at 6 in the morning than right here on my best buds,
[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_03]: recording a little Hannah Swenson.
[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_03]: That's a fact.
[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_03]: But if I have to miss it in order to be somewhere else at a different time, then I will.
[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_03]: All you can eat.
[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Donuts.
[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Donuts.
[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_04]: At 6am I'm probably...
[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_03]: But if anybody wants to fly me to Kansas City, I'd be happy to go on Wednesday.
[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Actually, it'd be bad.
[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_03]: My wife might murder me, but it's okay.
[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh.
[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_03]: It's okay.
[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you know.
[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Kansas City, pretty big town.
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_03]: If they make the World Series, I'm going this year though.
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna get burned.
[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Really?
[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_03]: If the Yankees make the World Series, I'm going to go.
[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Either to New York or to whomever they're playing against.
[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Either to New York or New York.
[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_04]: The Mets.
[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Is that what it's gonna be?
[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, would that be...
[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Can I tell ya?
[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Now that would be tough to get tickets at that point, I think.
[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_04]: That'd be fun though.
[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Listen, the Mets are hard to cheer against right now.
[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if they're hard for you to cheer against.
[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I feel like you...
[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_03]: No, I'm fine with the Mets.
[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't care about the Mets.
[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_03]: That'd be fun.
[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_03]: As long as the Astros didn't win, I don't really care.
[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And the Astros are out.
[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_03]: That'd be fun.
[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, a Subway Series, World Series with Dodgers, Yankees...
[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Has it ever happened?
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Has it ever happened?
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_03]: 99 or 2000.
[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_03]: So pretty recently actually.
[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_03]: It might have been 99 or 2000.
[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_03]: It was either 99 or 2000 and the Yankees won.
[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Easy.
[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, easy no problem.
[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_03]: A Dodgers-Yankees would be one for me.
[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And then after that Subway Series, Mets-Yankees would be two.
[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Those are my two options that I would like.
[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_04]: What about Yankees v. Crandall?
[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, we wouldn't stand a chance.
[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Crandall is what a team.
[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_03]: What a team they are fielding this year.
[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_04]: They are.
[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_04]: They are.
[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_04]: It's great to be back here today on a Wednesday.
[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_04]: We don't want to be anywhere else.
[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_04]: There's no place we'd rather be.
[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think we said that.
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I think we covered that.
[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Hump Day.
[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_04]: We are...
[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_04]: It is hump day.
[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_04]: We're a week and two days away from the marathon.
[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Happy Artholing, Robren.
[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_04]: And thank you so much.
[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_04]: And I can't wait for the marathon.
[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I can't wait for it.
[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_04]: It is hard to believe.
[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_04]: We're days away at this point.
[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I know.
[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_04]: It's hard to believe.
[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be so much fun.
[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_04]: We've got so much planned.
[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_04]: It all gets started at 6 p.m. Eastern on the 18th.
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_04]: And we'll hope you join us for as much as you can.
[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's going to be a lot of fun.
[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to be raising money locally.
[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_04]: There's a lot going on locally.
[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_04]: A lot going on locally.
[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_03]: So we've shifted gears a bit.
[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And we're going to be raising money to help folks out that are going to still need help.
[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, in Asheville, Western...
[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_03]: The Western Carolina is outside of Asheville.
[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_03]: They're thinking in terms of weeks, months, and years on recovery of infrastructure.
[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_03]: And so, you know, we know that it's not a national organization that we're going to be helping this time.
[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be helping folks that are close to us because you help folks that need help.
[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_03]: That's how that works.
[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's the plan.
[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_03]: And we hope you are excited to watch with us and hang out.
[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be making cookies.
[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be drafting movies.
[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be opening presents.
[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be eating a ton of food.
[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_03]: And we hope you watch, celebrate the kickoff to the season in the middle of autumn, and give generously and help folks in need.
[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_03]: We love it.
[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_04]: And I'll tease it out a little bit more, Dan.
[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_04]: You mentioned drafting movies.
[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_04]: We are going to be kicking the marathon off by doing a draft of the 2024 movies.
[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to each take, I think it's five movies.
[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_02]: We're each picking five.
[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_02]: That's correct.
[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_04]: We think are going to be the best movies, and there's going to be a cumulative score at the end of the season.
[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_04]: And one of the DTH hosts will be crowned the winner.
[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's going to be a lot of fun.
[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And we're going to have a legit, we've got to talk about that.
[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_03]: And we are open to ideas.
[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to have a legit prize for the winner.
[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_03]: We need something like, I think at the very least.
[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_03]: For next year.
[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I know that's maybe not as exciting for you.
[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_04]: But we can't know until the end of this year.
[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_04]: If the Cardinals play the Diamondbacks, it'll be awesome to go out to...
[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I think you would never turn down World Series teams.
[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_04]: But, you know, assuming the Yankees get there this year, which is a big assumption.
[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Thinking of our other DTH hosts, numerous folks in there would turn down World Series teams.
[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I just want to give a shout out really quickly, and I forgot to do it on Monday's show with Alonzo,
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_04]: how much I adored his post on Facebook after Vandy won, be it Alabama.
[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_04]: The reason he posted is because I texted him.
[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.
[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And I said, Alonzo, I know that you don't care about football at all,
[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_03]: but your alma mater is about to do something rather historic,
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_03]: one of the biggest upsets in the history of football.
[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Vanderbilt is beating Alabama.
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_03]: That's so funny.
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_03]: And his response to me on text was, oh, that's nice.
[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_03]: I love...
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_03]: You can hear it.
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_01]: You can hear it.
[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I love that he took that and he made it a status.
[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_04]: It was fantastic.
[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_04]: It was one of my favorite moments of the weekend.
[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_04]: That's right.
[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I can't believe I didn't bring it up on Monday.
[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_04]: That's on me.
[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's talk Hannah Swinshin, shall we?
[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Swinshin.
[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Swinshin.
[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Shawing.
[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Shawing.
[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Shawing.
[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Shawing.
[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_03]: A sprinkle.
[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_03]: We don't have anywhere to be.
[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Give me three more.
[00:06:35] Shwing.
[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Shwing.
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Shun.
[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Shwing.
[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_04]: A sprinkle of deceit.
[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Liar.
[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Is what we're talking about today.
[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Yep.
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_03]: I called Aaron a liar, not you.
[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Don't worry.
[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Hannah Swinson.
[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_04]: A sprinkle of deceit.
[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_04]: A lot just happened.
[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Guys, listen.
[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_04]: It's an easier show.
[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_04]: It's an easier show to watch.
[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_04]: It's hard when you're...
[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_03]: File it on TV slash DTH.
[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_03]: That would clear everything up.
[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_04]: You're getting to kind of see where everyone's at.
[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like listening to a race on the radio, right?
[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like, you know, you can do it.
[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_04]: I know it's a podcast first.
[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_04]: You can do it.
[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Please still listen to our podcast.
[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, please.
[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_03]: They try it.
[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_03]: They've gone around the circle again.
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's a biggie.
[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just going after all NASCAR fans since we're here.
[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Cool, dude.
[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Really awesome.
[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I know drivers.
[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I almost said riders.
[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I know drivers.
[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I taught a pretty relatively famous driver, Jordan Anderson.
[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Shout out, Jordan.
[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Shout out.
[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_03]: He's doing great, man.
[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Sponsored by?
[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_03]: City of Columbia.
[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_03]: How about that?
[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Cool.
[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_03]: With a bunch of other sponsors, but City of Columbia is one of his.
[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_03]: At least it has been for a long time.
[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Speaking of Columbia, who, what, when?
[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_04]: South Carolina Public Radio.
[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Give it a listen.
[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot of fun.
[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Hannah Swenson, A Sprinkle of Deceit.
[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_04]: October 4th, 2024.
[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_04]: And when it was something like this, there's this woman, she's texting with someone about
[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_04]: getting together.
[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_04]: They're talking.
[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Talking about it being risky.
[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Also Volpi Foods.
[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Jordan Anderson sponsored by Volpi Foods.
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, yeah.
[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_03]: VolpiFoods.com.
[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Shout out.
[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_01]: That was free.
[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you sponsored too?
[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a promo code JordanAndersonRacing slash deck.
[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_04]: No one gets promos like Dan.
[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_04]: He gets it.
[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_04]: He gets it.
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_04]: So they're talking about being risky and whatnot.
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_04]: And then she gets a text from an unknown number that says, if you don't stop, I'm going
[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_04]: to get you.
[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_04]: And then there's a knock at the door.
[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Cut to Hannah.
[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_04]: She's cutting a ton of coconuts.
[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_04]: We find out that Hannah is expanding.
[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_03]: She's cutting a ton of coconuts.
[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Got her credit card out.
[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_03]: We find out that Hannah.
[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Lines of coconuts.
[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_04]: 100 dollar bills everywhere.
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Ton of coconuts.
[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_04]: We find out that Hannah is expanding to roasting her own coffee and is in a bigger space.
[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Congrats, Hannah.
[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_04]: It's huge.
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I was pumped about that.
[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Dan, what do you think about that?
[00:09:05] [SPEAKER_01]: He is.
[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_01]: He loves it.
[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Movie magic.
[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_03]: So good.
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_03]: That's why you got to, if you listen only.
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_03]: It's unbelievable.
[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_03]: You got to watch the camera there.
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Dan just went around the fourth turn and he's coming around.
[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_03]: There's the pace car.
[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_02]: It's out again.
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_03]: There he is.
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_03]: That's the Volfyfoods.com promo code Jordan Anderson racing slash deck pace car.
[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_03]: The pace car is sponsored.
[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_03]: You would think the pace car has to be unbiased by Jordan Anderson.
[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_03]: So he might, he might be cheating.
[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know at this point.
[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Probably, probably.
[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_03]: He wouldn't.
[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_03]: He wouldn't.
[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_04]: But I like that he's using his promo code though.
[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_04]: He wants to kick back.
[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_04]: He wants it.
[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_04]: It's an affiliate deal with Volfy.
[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not a straight sponsorship.
[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Excellent.
[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_04]: They just painted his car.
[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow.
[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Smooth.
[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_04]: He's got to move.
[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_04]: And then he gets a kick back.
[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Like Hans Winston in the coconut.
[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_04]: She's cutting a ton of coconut.
[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_04]: We find out that Hannah, oh she's expanding.
[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Chad comes to get some free coffee.
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Cause you know, that's what you do when you, you know, are opening a bigger space.
[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_04]: You give things up for free.
[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the Hannah Swinson way.
[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Her mom is like, could you, could you just try with him a little bit?
[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_04]: And I honestly thought she was trying there, but a different, different of opinions.
[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_04]: We find out that different of opinions.
[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Different of opinions.
[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, we find out that the one, um, the woman at the beginning is that she's up there.
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_04]: It's only episode two, right?
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, there's a movie shooting in town.
[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_04]: So Hannah and her mom go on set and the drama on set is off the hook.
[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_04]: The director comes over and asks Hannah's mom if she wants to be in the movie.
[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to go over great.
[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Hannah is catering this reunion of sorts.
[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, this woman named Darcy is there.
[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_04]: She's getting wild.
[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, she's the one from the beginning.
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Huh?
[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Which one?
[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Darcy.
[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Darcy.
[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_01]: The one who died.
[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_04]: She is the one for the beginning.
[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_04]: She's getting wild.
[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_04]: She's getting turnt.
[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_04]: And, uh, yeah.
[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_04]: And, um, she was one of the ones that was causing drama on set.
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Police officer Lonnie is there and he agrees after a, uh, a game of rock, paper, scissors to take her home.
[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_04]: He's acting sketchy though.
[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_04]: And when he gets there, um, brings her inside, starts looking all around and then he throws the keys into the doggy door and he leaves.
[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_04]: It's 12 08.
[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_04]: We see the time.
[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, Hannah goes to her house, uh, to bring her, uh, by her, I mean Darcy, a hangover smoothie.
[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_04]: And when she doesn't answer, they just go in.
[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a, once again, it's Hannah.
[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_04]: It's what she does.
[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_04]: And, uh, once you know what they find her, she is dead.
[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_04]: She's dead.
[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_04]: When it becomes clear that she was murdered, Chad thinks that they should investigate Lonnie, seeing as how he was the last person to see her alive.
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_04]: But he's a cop.
[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_04]: You can't investigate a cop.
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_04]: That's what I learned.
[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_04]: From Jane Mysteries.
[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_03]: They're above the law.
[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_03]: They're, they're protected by the badge.
[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_03]: That's true.
[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_04]: A 10 year old next door to Darcy saw Lonnie be there for longer than Lonnie said as 10 year old who's up at 12 08.
[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_04]: You got to take his work for these type of things.
[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_04]: He also said that he saw an orange convertible over there, just hanging out.
[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, but no one in town knows anything about no orange convertible.
[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_04]: No one drives one of those.
[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Darcy apparently used to work for this mechanic in town, but was fired for overcharging customers and pocketing the extra,
[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_04]: which is literally what I always assume mechanics are doing when I bring my car.
[00:12:56] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know anything.
[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_04]: You could tell me anything and I just have to go with it.
[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure you all mechanics are doing a great job.
[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Then you're no, listen, you're not a,
[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_04]: I think the best thing about mechanics though, is that they're not notaries.
[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think for sure.
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_04]: At least they have worth and value.
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, then she accuses him, uh, after getting fired,
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_04]: of harassment and there's text messages to prove it.
[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_04]: And he says, I didn't send those, but he is a suspect.
[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_04]: The other suspect is Darcy's boyfriend.
[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_04]: That's right.
[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_04]: She had a boyfriend.
[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_04]: They were in a fight at the party and ended up leaving early.
[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Hannah keeps investigating and it keeps not looking good for Lonnie.
[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Sweet Lonnie.
[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Shy Lonnie.
[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, that is until Hannah has a realization.
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_04]: You ready for this?
[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_04]: White.
[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Under.
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_04]: An orange light.
[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Looks.
[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Orange.
[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Boy.
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Man.
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_01]: So.
[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_01]: You told me a 10 year old messed that up.
[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_01]: A 10 year old messed that up.
[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_03]: So she goes over and she says.
[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_03]: And it took her staring real close through a toaster oven or whatever that was.
[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_04]: So says, hey, uh, 10 year old,
[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_04]: do you think it's possible that since it was under the light that it made it look?
[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_04]: And he says, she would look maybe.
[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_04]: So now we think we're looking for a white converter.
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_04]: We do know where one of those are.
[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_04]: So she tracks it down, follows it.
[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_04]: And it turns out to belong to, well, she thinks Brian.
[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Brian.
[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_04]: It was not Brian.
[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_04]: It was one of the folks that was helping, uh, plan the reunion along with his wife, Michelle.
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Michelle shows up behind Hannah with a gun.
[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Someone's got a gun.
[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_04]: She confesses everything.
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, oh, sorry.
[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_04]: It's Cass, not Michelle.
[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know why I wrote Michelle.
[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Michelle's her sister.
[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Michelle's her sister.
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not her sister.
[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_04]: It's Cass.
[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, and so she confesses everything.
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, she knew that Brian was having an affair with Darcy.
[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_04]: And so she followed Lonnie, snuck inside, looked at her phone.
[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_04]: And when she confirmed the affair, she suffocated with her pillow.
[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, we've all been there.
[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_04]: It's tough.
[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, Hannah bangs on the car.
[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_04]: So the alarm goes off, allowing her to run away.
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Luckily Chad is there and was able to save the day.
[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_04]: He just kind of takes the gun out of her hand.
[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, honestly, the most believable thing in this movie is Vic Webster just taking a gun out of someone's hands.
[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, after arresting her, Hannah and Chad exchange numbers, something apparently they've never done before.
[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that was, um, well, it was news to all of us.
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_03]: And everyone, I had to wait until they decided to bring it up and just talk about it.
[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, everyone makes up, they get fancy.
[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_04]: They go to Hannah's mom's play.
[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Hannah's mom.
[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Remember the thing in the move from the movie earlier?
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_04]: She, uh, got a part in a local play.
[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_04]: And so they went on to play.
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_04]: She doesn't talk, but, um, the movie ends with Chad asking Hannah to go to dinner with him.
[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_04]: That is a number and a dinner all in one night.
[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And now my friends was Hannah's Swinson mystery, a sprinkle of deceit.
[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_03]: We did it.
[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's take a quick break.
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to come back.
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to break this movie down even more with four seconds.
[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Here, Rob.
[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Take the homework.
[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Boogity boogity boogity.
[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Welcome back, everybody.
[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_04]: We're talking about a Hannah's Swinson mystery, a sprinkle of deceit.
[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_03]: It's the hardest turn at Daytona.
[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Of the turns.
[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Which one?
[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Is it turn four?
[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_03]: I've always said it's turn four.
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Which turn's the hardest?
[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, one's tricky.
[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_03]: One's tricky.
[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_03]: It is.
[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Out of the gate.
[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Three's tough.
[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Three's tough.
[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Don't underestimate two.
[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Two's easy.
[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Two's easy.
[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_03]: It's easy.
[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_04]: It's easy.
[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Just look at it.
[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_04]: It's almost not even a turn.
[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's talk Hannah Swinson, shall we?
[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_04]: This one's a sprinkle of deceit.
[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's break it down with four seconds.
[00:16:47] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to start with a hot take.
[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to share exactly how we felt about this movie.
[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Hannah Swinson has been good to us over the years, Dana, because she has inspired
[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Brian to try things and to bring them to bake.
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_04]: That's right.
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure he's brought us a little surprise.
[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Although I don't like coconut, so.
[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's what it was.
[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_01]: So I just want to bring it out.
[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't even bring it out.
[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Forget it.
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Never mind then.
[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this one, you're right, Brandon.
[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Usually inspired by something in the movie.
[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't feel anything of the sorts, actually, with this.
[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Like they've really stepped away from the baking part and the recipe part and the variety of
[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_01]: dessert things that they would present.
[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Like that's kind of a bummer.
[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of a bummer because I like that part of it.
[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I liked her being in her bake shop, people coming to see her, her overhearing things, her
[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_01]: making all these crazy different things.
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't really get as much of that anymore.
[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And so I don't know.
[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_01]: This was just okay for me.
[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I think her mom was like her snark was kind of the star for me in this one.
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Barbara Niven did a great job.
[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And I just don't, I don't like how Hannah now is just always out on the case.
[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Like she's like the police are out there doing the stuff.
[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Like she's running into them everywhere she goes.
[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_01]: She doesn't need to do that too.
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so.
[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Usually it's like she was picking up where the police were left leaving off or not.
[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_01]: She was jumping ahead and she's like barely ahead of them now.
[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_01]: So I wish she would do more of, of the making cool recipes and talking about recipes.
[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And she's got this brand new shop that she's not really in that much.
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_01]: So it was just, I don't know.
[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_01]: It was just okay.
[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_01]: More baking would be great.
[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_01]: More recipes would be great.
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, yes.
[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_04]: And listen, it's another situation where how am I to know, you know, how am I, how am
[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_04]: I to know that Brian was having an affair with this woman?
[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, you're right.
[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, how am I to know that?
[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_03]: I actually thought that that every time that Brian is on the screen with his wife, he talks
[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_03]: about Darcy.
[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_03]: So much so that I was sure that he did it and was shocked to find out that his wife did
[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_03]: it.
[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_03]: I had that pegged from the beginning and I thought they set that up really well.
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_03]: But that's just me.
[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_03]: And he doesn't have a lot of scenes, but his scenes are, there's so much an outlier to
[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_03]: the rest of this movie.
[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_03]: And every time he talks, he's like, Oh, I'm sure Darcy's fine.
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure blah, blah, blah.
[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Darcy really was a doll.
[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_03]: She really was blah, blah, blah.
[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_03]: It's pretty, in my opinion, I thought that they set that up.
[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_04]: So I, I had him as a suspect in so much as he's in the movie.
[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't pick up on any of that, but that's good to know that you did.
[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, I just like, what am I like, how, like, what am I supposed to do here?
[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, it would just be like, Oh, that's, I bet I, I'm going to make up an entire story
[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_04]: about what's going on with no like real clues about his life and what he's doing.
[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_04]: And, you know, maybe they should have up the, the jealousy face of Cass.
[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Like when he, when he says that there should be a give or something that would make me think
[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_04]: because like they, they get three pretty daggum good suspects and my, and my, and I, I would
[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_04]: like, I, I, I stuck with this one for the longest.
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, it was moving at a good pace.
[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe it's because they had, uh, three good suspects that kind of kept me engaged with
[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_04]: the plot of this movie.
[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, you know, the, the whole orange car thing.
[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_04]: That was, uh, that was, that wasn't my favorites, uh, twist in the world, but at least they tried
[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_04]: with a twist and so there you go.
[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_04]: But yes, Barbara and Evan is the star of this movie.
[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_04]: She continues to be.
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_04]: And she always crushes.
[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_04]: This movie was no exception.
[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_04]: She's amazing.
[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_04]: And she really delivered some really funny stuff in this movie.
[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_04]: So more of that, you know, just give her a movie.
[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_04]: What are we doing here?
[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Um, I notoriously hate the Hannah Swenson movies.
[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_03]: I've never liked one.
[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I think they're all terrible.
[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_03]: I think this is my favorite of them.
[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_03]: That is not a glowing recommendation for this movie, but I do think it's my favorite.
[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Here are the reasons I think it's my favorite.
[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Number one, contrary to what Brian told you, I love the fact that they lean in to Hannah
[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Swenson.
[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_03]: They make jokes about it.
[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_03]: When somebody dies in this movie, they go, Oh, not again.
[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_03]: That was different.
[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_03]: They say it in the movie.
[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_03]: They joke.
[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_03]: She, they joke all the time.
[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_03]: They even go out of their way to show her baking early in the morning and going,
[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Baker's hours.
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_03]: They do that so that not only I know that she's never in the bakery, but the two things
[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_03]: they do in this movie are they just acknowledge Hannah Swenson's never where she's supposed
[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_03]: to be.
[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_03]: And not because she's committing civil disobedience or because the cops are crooked just cause
[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_03]: she's nosy.
[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_03]: That's why.
[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_03]: And that's fine.
[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_03]: And then also she is a baker.
[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_03]: She does bake things and she doesn't have to be there.
[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And they just lean into the absurdity that is that premise and how people just keep dropping
[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_03]: like flies at everything she does.
[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_03]: That's the first reason that I think this movie, I don't, I didn't like it, but I think
[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_03]: it works better.
[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Number two cameo by Ashley wish Williams.
[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I can't believe it got to me either.
[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_03]: The cameo by Ashley Williams is, is great.
[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_03]: It's pretty pitch.
[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Perfect.
[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_03]: It's very quick.
[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_03]: She's hysterical.
[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_03]: That's great.
[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_03]: And then the mystery of it all.
[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I, and then I like Vic Webster.
[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I like him more than Cam Matheson.
[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_03]: And I think the idea that he's a city prosecutor lends itself to some weight what's, but also
[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_03]: like, I, I like what he brings to these movies.
[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_03]: And I thought that the mystery was fine.
[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't like these movies.
[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't like them.
[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I think if you were with them from the beginning or you read the books, you love them and you
[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_03]: have an attachment to them.
[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_03]: I, every time I watch one of these movies, I still think they move very slowly.
[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_03]: It feels like they're just, the pace isn't there.
[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_03]: And we're, and we're, we're living in two worlds, neither of which fully developed or
[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_03]: fully committed to.
[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_03]: And every time I watch one, I'm like, why can't we have another, uh, haunted mysteries
[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_03]: in G minor or cases of mystery lane or whatever else that we've had.
[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Like there's so many other mystery wheels I would rather see than another Hannah Swenson
[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_03]: movie.
[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_03]: But of the ones I've seen, this is my favorite.
[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_04]: It is time for all the fields.
[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_04]: We were talking about those fields, Brian.
[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_01]: In this one, they did.
[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember them doing this before, but in this one, they did a couple of times where
[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_01]: they threw out baking quotes and those were a treat.
[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I really liked those.
[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Very nice.
[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_01]: So do you have one?
[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I obviously wrote those down.
[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Jewelry is nice, but life is what you bake it.
[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Not a bad one.
[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Not a bad one.
[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Should have been on pun, pun, pun, yeah.
[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_01]: So I thought they should have done a little more of that.
[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_01]: The, the funny baking quotes is a nice touch.
[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_01]: So a little sprinkle on top.
[00:23:48] Yeah.
[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Sprinkle of deceit.
[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_03]: A little cherry on top.
[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_03]: I just think that that lends itself to this movie being a lot more enjoyable when they
[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_03]: just fully welcome you to go.
[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Hannah Swenson seems to be around a lot of dead people with her baked goods and that's
[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_03]: weird.
[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_03]: And they did a great job with that.
[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_03]: And so kudos to you guys for doing that.
[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, thank you.
[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I do want to shout out, my feels is a shout out to Brendan Zub or Zub.
[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_03]: He is the director in this movie.
[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_03]: We watched a movie called the Christmas calendar where he plays a French guy in one of the
[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_03]: most outrageously not French French accents I've ever heard.
[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_03]: And the thing about this guy is, is I, he's from Canada and I honestly believe he's just
[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_03]: here for a good time.
[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_03]: He wants to do an accent.
[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_03]: He wants to wrinkle a page.
[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_03]: His accent.
[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_03]: This movie was wild.
[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_03]: And so now I'm just a Brendan Zub or Zub fan, however you say his name.
[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm in on, I'm a Zub head.
[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_03]: That's my feels.
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll take a quick break.
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll come back with the way one, the, what the hallmark here on deck, the hallmark.
[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Welcome back everyone.
[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_04]: It is great to be back talking to Hannah Swenson, sprinkle the seed.
[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_04]: It's time for the way.
[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_04]: What is where we're talking about?
[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_04]: What this movie may go?
[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Wait, what?
[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Wait, what?
[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Wait, what?
[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Wait, what?
[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Who's a good boy?
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Who's a good boy?
[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_04]: You're a good boy.
[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_04]: You got any way?
[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_04]: What's true?
[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Good boy.
[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, my first one is stuck with me more than anything.
[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Why are we giving Vic Webster normal size cups and coffee mugs?
[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_01]: The guy, he drinks coffee, I think twice in this movie.
[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And each time it's like under the giant.
[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Give him a super size mug.
[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Like the prospect, the ratio of his hand to ceramic is, it's a joke.
[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_01]: He is a massive human.
[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_01]: They can't just give him normal props.
[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, the multi-day outdoor commercial shoot has to cost a fortune.
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_01]: They are there like all week outside in the elements.
[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a commercial.
[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a single shot.
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a one shot.
[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a one-er.
[00:26:19] It's great.
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_01]: For days.
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a single cam artistic art.
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a single cam artistic.
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_03]: You don't get it.
[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_03]: You don't understand.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_03]: It's an indie commercial.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I guess.
[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_01]: They're there for like whatever the elements throw at them.
[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_01]: They're just going to take some perfume commercial.
[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Those are always like, what's going on there?
[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_01]: The wind.
[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, the garage scene was ridiculous.
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_01]: You mentioned it, Bran.
[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I wouldn't step foot in a, in somebody's garage.
[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Like the, uh, an auto mechanics garage.
[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't belong there.
[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I do not belong there.
[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Like they don't want anybody to go and talk to a mechanic is to walk into a garage
[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_03]: with a car up on a lift to be like, Hey buddy, what's going on?
[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I just, can you just come take a look?
[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, no, he's got a hundred other cars.
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_01]: No.
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Are you kidding me?
[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Can we talk about, uh, Barbara Niven's innuendos when she goes in there?
[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Holy smokes.
[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_03]: They went for it.
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_04]: They did.
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't see it coming.
[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_01]: There was a, was it this?
[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_01]: No, there was the other movie.
[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_01]: There was some, a line in the other movie we did this week.
[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_01]: That's awesome.
[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I forget that.
[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Was that episode yesterday?
[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, sure.
[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Check that out wherever you listen to the pods.
[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_01]: The innuendo is not in it though.
[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_01]: So I don't mention it.
[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_01]: So don't go looking for it.
[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_01]: So you can check it out and not hear it.
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_01]: You would know if you want to do it now?
[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Or, uh, and also, you want to wait for Apple Hill?
[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_01]: You need to get off your chest here?
[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_01]: No, man, no.
[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm fine.
[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Glenn, now I'm just gonna be thinking about, Glenn McCoy is, say it at some point in
[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_01]: this episode, but don't tell us what it is and we'll try again.
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Glenn McCoy is, uh, so he's working on the car.
[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_01]: He's the mechanic and she's talking to him and he, oh, this was when Hannah shows up.
[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_01]: He's eating.
[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_01]: He grabs the cookie with his greasy, filthy hands.
[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Dude, I couldn't believe he did that.
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Unreal.
[00:27:54] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not a germaphobe.
[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_03]: This guy's hands have oil and grease coated.
[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Days of grease.
[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_03]: And he just...
[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, I have no doubt that that happens.
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_04]: That's what happens.
[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I have no doubt.
[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Man.
[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_04]: If you work with oil...
[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Not even a rag.
[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_04]: If you work with oil all the time.
[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_03]: No, you have a rag in your pocket and you wipe your hand off.
[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Probably.
[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_03]: But you know, I bet there's some guys out there that would be like, whatever.
[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not saying they go over and get the dial and they scrub up like they're having surgery,
[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_03]: but...
[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Dude, but they put the dial, they put it on the ducts.
[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_04]: And if you can...
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that's...
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Is it Dawn, I believe?
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk about the ducts.
[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Dial it back and get to Dawn because they can get it.
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Dawn wishes.
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't even want to talk about joy.
[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how...
[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Paul Moller?
[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Paul Moller?
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Paul Eid?
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know how Dawn, you know, secured the right to ducts in need, but they did and
[00:28:42] [SPEAKER_04]: it gets me every time.
[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_01]: So just gross.
[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Not a single guest.
[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_01]: This should have been a huge tip off.
[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Not a single guest at the Princess and P B&B.
[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Not a one.
[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_01]: They're there hosting.
[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_01]: They keep talking about all the stuff they're doing.
[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_01]: They're doing all this work.
[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Not a guest.
[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Just have somebody walk by in the background.
[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_01]: They can't get alone either because they gave one of the old Aaron K.
[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, these people didn't meet the criteria.
[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I think I'll stop right there.
[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's get to mine.
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_04]: So they keep talking about how early it is.
[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_04]: You know?
[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_04]: It's baker's hours.
[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_04]: It's early in the morning.
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Man, you're here early.
[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow, you're really working.
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_04]: You're here.
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_04]: How long have you been working?
[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Again, there's so many stuff here.
[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_04]: It's so early.
[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_04]: And yet she goes, I got to get this hangover smoothie to this lady.
[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Right now.
[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a hangover smoothie.
[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Wait like a little bit.
[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Like it's either really early.
[00:29:35] [SPEAKER_04]: If it's as early as they are alluding to it as being, it's too early for a hangover smoothie.
[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Like just give it some time.
[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Just give it an hour or two.
[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Just wait.
[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Pump the brakes, pal.
[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_04]: She might not.
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_04]: She might not be awake.
[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_04]: And I've just never, I've never been in a situation where I think, okay, I'm going to bring somebody
[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_04]: a hangover smoothie.
[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_04]: And if they don't knock, I'm going to go in.
[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Especially someone I don't really know.
[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_04]: At all.
[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Like that is such a crazy thing to do.
[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_03]: The amount of times that Hannah just goes into places that she doesn't belong is insane.
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_03]: I am 100% okay with good trouble.
[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_03]: I am like, if you don't believe that the authority is doing what's right, you take matters into
[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_03]: your own hands and, and like represent yourself.
[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_03]: What she is doing is caution in the wind is like, like what, like the fact that she's
[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_03]: not dead yet is shocking to me.
[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_03]: The number of times she trespasses on places where there is not an ounce or a whiff of a
[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_03]: crime has ever been committed here.
[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_03]: And she just goes.
[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And not because the police are, it just because she wants to.
[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_03]: It's wild.
[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_03]: It's wild out there.
[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_04]: And then like, how long did she follow the convertible for?
[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Because she starts and it's daytime.
[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_04]: And then at the end it is pitch black.
[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_04]: You got it.
[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Like she just followed them to their house.
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, yeah, that's a long time.
[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_04]: That's a long drive.
[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_04]: That's a long time.
[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe, maybe that should have been.
[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_04]: And also how did, uh, how did Chad, did she say in the voicemail where she's, where she's
[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_04]: going?
[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, how did, how did he know to go there?
[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Did you guys think about that?
[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't think about that at all, but it makes, she did give, she said white convertible.
[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, and he looks it up.
[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_03]: He looks it up.
[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And then he found out where the residence.
[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I bet she wished she had that information.
[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_04]: That'd be nice.
[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Didn't have to follow her for five hours.
[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, Dan?
[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_03]: A cup of coffee's a dollar fifty.
[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Shout out to the bankery.
[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_03]: She's not even making that coffee herself yet.
[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Dollar fifty.
[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_03]: That's really good price.
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Really, really good.
[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not a white one.
[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Just wish I could get coffee for a dollar fifty.
[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_03]: That's it.
[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Um, the county prosecutor, not the city prosecutor, which would be bad.
[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_03]: The prosecutor of the county is checking permits for a TV commercial.
[00:31:57] [SPEAKER_03]: That was weird.
[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_03]: It, not only is it weird, I would like having recently been on set and the number of people
[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_03]: that could stop by and bother you for the county prosecutor that it couldn't be more out
[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_03]: of, and maybe I'm wrong.
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_03]: If you're a lawyer, please let me know.
[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_03]: It seems like that is just light years out of your jurisdiction.
[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_03]: And if I'm making a movie and the county prosecutor shows up, I'm going to be like,
[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, it's a closed set.
[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Unless you have a reason or what we call a warrant to be here.
[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_03]: You cannot be here.
[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_03]: You're not an investigator.
[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_03]: You're, you're not a police officer.
[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_03]: You're a lawyer that works for the county.
[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_03]: What are you doing on my television set?
[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Get off the set right now, please or not please.
[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Whatever it takes.
[00:32:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Get off the set.
[00:32:46] [SPEAKER_03]: His excuses.
[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Be a buddy and get off the set.
[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, just be a buddy.
[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_04]: His excuses is that it's a small town.
[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a small town.
[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I gotta do a lot of stuff.
[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_04]: But you're not even the town prosecutor.
[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_03]: You're the county prosecutor.
[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_03]: You got the whole county to prosecute, bro.
[00:32:59] Small county.
[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to go check this permit because, because I want to.
[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_03]: I need to see the, can I see the permits?
[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_03]: No, you cannot.
[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_03]: That would be my answer to you.
[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was so weird that I thought it was going to come.
[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was going to come back.
[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_03]: And it didn't.
[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_03]: And it didn't.
[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_03]: That was what killed me about it, I think.
[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Um, I may have misunderstood this somewhere, but if I don't, please someone explain to
[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_03]: me Michelle's character in this movie, who is Hannah's sister.
[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Hannah's sister.
[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Also dates Lonnie.
[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Dates Lonnie.
[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And also works at the bakery?
[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I think so.
[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Has been in five of these movies.
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I did look that up.
[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_03]: She is at Lonnie's high school reunion.
[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.
[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_03]: In town.
[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_03]: She knows no one.
[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_03]: She's been working at this bakery for at least five years, six years.
[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_03]: She's been dating Lonnie.
[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And she's like, I'm in a room full of people and I know no one.
[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_03]: I just don't know how that's possible.
[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody's from out of town.
[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody at the high school moved away.
[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_03]: She's lived.
[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_03]: She has lived in this town for almost, I can assume a decade.
[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_03]: She's been in town for a long time.
[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_04]: He's saying all of the high school people, they all moved away.
[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_04]: But there's people that work there.
[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Just those people.
[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_03]: And there's people that go in the bakery.
[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Hannah knows everybody that comes in the bakery.
[00:34:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's true.
[00:34:17] [SPEAKER_03]: She's always talking about all these people.
[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_03]: How does Hannah know everybody and Michelle know no one to go to the bakery?
[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know a lot of people.
[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm getting word on the chat.
[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Michelle doesn't work in the bakery?
[00:34:27] [SPEAKER_03]: She's more of a hermit.
[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_03]: She's more of a hermit.
[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_03]: She's just there and lives in town and dates Lonnie.
[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Got it.
[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_03]: But she will die in a small town.
[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_03]: That's really good.
[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_03]: I like it.
[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Great.
[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_03]: There's no way for you to possibly not.
[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I will though.
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_04]: And I do know that.
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_03]: And we don't have time to talk about it.
[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_03]: There's just no way this convertible gets away this easily.
[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_03]: There's no one in the car.
[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Hannah is walking up to the car.
[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_03]: A pickup truck drives by and very briefly obstructs her vision.
[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_03]: And then after the pickup truck moves, whoever's in the convertible has run, jumped in, backed out of a crowded parking lot and taken off.
[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the second turn for you.
[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Not even a problem.
[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Just right around.
[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_03]: But this is the biggest one of the whole movie.
[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Hannah Swenson confronts the killer in the black of night after following her all day, as Bram pointed out.
[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Ran out of gas.
[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Cass is married to Brian.
[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Brian was having an affair with Darcy.
[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Brian is in the house.
[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_03]: We see Brian's silhouette walking in the house.
[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Cass shows up outside of the house, holds the gun to Hannah, says,
[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Brian didn't even know about this.
[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_03]: I did this.
[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Brian doesn't even know.
[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_03]: She says it twice.
[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_03]: And then bang, gunshot.
[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_03]: She shoots the gun.
[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Brian, in the house, doesn't hear it.
[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Doesn't come out.
[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Nothing's wrong.
[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Just a random gunshot.
[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't want any part of that.
[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he came out of it.
[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_04]: They do run in the woods.
[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_03]: But she shoots the gun right by the door.
[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_03]: She shoots the gun right.
[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_03]: He didn't.
[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_03]: He never, we never see him again.
[00:36:06] [SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't.
[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't.
[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I'd go right to the woods.
[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_03]: To be honest with you.
[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_03]: My wife's car is outside.
[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Uh huh.
[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And I see her car is there and I hear gunshot.
[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going out there.
[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_03]: You're a hero.
[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_03]: I just, I love my wife.
[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I've been told my whole life, don't be the hero.
[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Let me ask you this.
[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't actually know.
[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_04]: This is a, maybe a, what's a hallmark, but was, uh, was she driving the car or was he,
[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_04]: she was driving the car?
[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_04]: How do we, do we know that?
[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_04]: We don't know.
[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Do we?
[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_03]: How do we know it?
[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_03]: She, I believe she references the fact that it was, she was driving or she was driving
[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_04]: it that night.
[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Was she driving it to the, but your thing is like, if my wife pulled up in her car and
[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_04]: I saw it, if I heard a gunshot, I'd come outside.
[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_04]: What you're saying is he could have been driving the car.
[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_04]: He drove.
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Walks in.
[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Here's gunshot outside his door.
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Knows his wife is on the premises and doesn't go outside to check.
[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe, maybe if he just got home, you know, maybe he doesn't know where she is.
[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_04]: It's true.
[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_04]: That's true.
[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_04]: What if he doesn't know she's even there?
[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_03]: You are 100% checking outside and I'm 99.9% sure the wife was driving away because she
[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_03]: sees Hannah Swenson and peels off to go at the beginning of that.
[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_03]: There's just no world where he is peeling off real quick out of that parking lot.
[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't like guns.
[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he went to get his gun.
[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Before he had it outside.
[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he went to go get his gun and he can't crack it.
[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_01]: But she has it.
[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't know that.
[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't know that.
[00:37:29] [SPEAKER_04]: 100%.
[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_04]: It's time for what the hallmark is where we talk about things that we would still like
[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_04]: answers to.
[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Right?
[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I did a lot of work there last night.
[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_01]: You know that.
[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Even though Darcy is dead, somebody took out her trash.
[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Who takes out the trash for the dead?
[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I see.
[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_01]: It took you so long.
[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, what are you talking about?
[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Hannah shows up and goes through her trash, which is out on the curb where it belongs
[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_01]: before trash day.
[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Who took out her trash?
[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Did Lonnie do it?
[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Why would Lonnie?
[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_01]: He shouldn't be over there messing around with the trash.
[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Just a weird...
[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Who's taking out her trash?
[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Just a weird move.
[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I didn't think about this until...
[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Really good.
[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Wait.
[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_04]: What the hallmark?
[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Thanks, man.
[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Until after the movie.
[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_04]: But the movie starts with Darcy.
[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_04]: She's texting and then gets to text of, hey, if you don't stop, I'm gonna come at you.
[00:38:25] [SPEAKER_04]: And then the doorbell rings and she gets scared and then that's the end of that.
[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_04]: And I assume that she died, you know, then and there.
[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_04]: But obviously she didn't.
[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_04]: She went to the party.
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Was that her boyfriend picking her up for the party?
[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Like what was that?
[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_04]: But you're right.
[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_04]: They did...
[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_04]: I've seen enough of these to where I know, okay, doorbell, something bad's gonna happen
[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_04]: here.
[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_04]: And then she ended up, she was at the party at night.
[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_04]: When was that?
[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_04]: What was the clip at the beginning?
[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_04]: The beginning is weird.
[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Because it cuts to, once again, Hannah's cutting a lot of coconuts.
[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_04]: And that's earlier in the day.
[00:39:05] [SPEAKER_04]: She's prepping.
[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_04]: For the tower for the things she takes.
[00:39:07] [SPEAKER_04]: She's prepping for the reunion.
[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Correct.
[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_04]: So there was a...
[00:39:11] [SPEAKER_04]: For as many times as they've done, present day, five hours ago, whatever it is, they didn't
[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_04]: do any of that.
[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_04]: And so it led me to be quite confused about what that ring at the bell.
[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Ring at the bell.
[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Ring at the bell.
[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Ring at the bell.
[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Ring my bell.
[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Ring my bell.
[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Added to the playlist.
[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_03]: What I had written down was, what do we have to do to stop making these?
[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And I don't think that's really a nice one.
[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_03]: My question is, are these still popular?
[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Do these still hit in the ratings?
[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Because I just am...
[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, even the big fans of these movies, I think, that read the books, like, Sweeney's
[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_03]: just doing her own thing at this point.
[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, these are different.
[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_01]: These aren't tied to a book.
[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_03]: And I just...
[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Can we not...
[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Can we...
[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, there's so many very creative ideas and so many creative voices out there that
[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_03]: we could hear from.
[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Are these a mainstay that I just am not on board with?
[00:40:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Can I ask a question?
[00:40:12] [SPEAKER_04]: You might know this, Aaron.
[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Have any of these ever involved Hannah's baked goods being used for murder?
[00:40:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Huh.
[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_01]: In the book, wasn't there like a poison type of thing or an allergy?
[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I think in the movies, there's like a...
[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_00]: At one point, they suspect it.
[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, they were found.
[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm trying to remember if they...
[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_04]: If we're going...
[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm also getting it confused with Curious Caterer.
[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_00]: That one, it is.
[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_04]: I'd like for there to be a real situation where Hannah is in quite the jam.
[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Hannah, they've alluded...
[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, Hannah's always around and she's always bringing people baked goods.
[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_04]: If someone wanted to get rid of Hannah...
[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_04]: You just...
[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_04]: You could easily utilize her baked goods for murder.
[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And frame her.
[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Shud.
[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_04]: That'd be a great one there, yeah.
[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Frame her.
[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I watch a lot of these mystery wheels over and over again.
[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't watch Hannah Swenson, like, at all.
[00:41:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Interesting.
[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_01]: You get to do them all at once?
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_01]: You saving them up?
[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_00]: No, like, I watch them once when they air and then I like, don't really go back.
[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_00]: So, my knowledge on this is...
[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Uh-huh.
[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Sheila Calaway, our resident Sleepy Kitty Paws says that there's two more of these movies
[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_03]: that are definitely being made.
[00:41:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_03]: And that's fine.
[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_03]: So, that's exciting for all of us here on a Sunday night.
[00:41:36] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that we could...
[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I think it'd be a great way to...
[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I love it.
[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, hey, Hannah's an actual suspect in this case.
[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_04]: And Chad's in between a rock and a hard place there.
[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_04]: He sure is.
[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_04]: And we know with Lonnie, he's proven...
[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_04]: They have to have done a thing where she's a suspect before.
[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I feel like we've watched it.
[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_04]: But I don't feel...
[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not with the baked goods.
[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not with the baked goods, and I also feel like it's never lasted very long.
[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_04]: No, no, no.
[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_04]: For her to be a primary suspect...
[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_04]: She's always in the wrong place.
[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_03]: It'd be easy to make her a suspect.
[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_00]: The first one with Vic Webster, isn't she like...
[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Is she a witness or is she being questioned?
[00:42:08] [SPEAKER_00]: She's something.
[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_04]: She's being questioned.
[00:42:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
[00:42:10] [SPEAKER_04]: And he's like trying to tell her...
[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.
[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_00]: See, I know something.
[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_04]: You sure do.
[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, those are some ideas I have.
[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_04]: We did it, everybody.
[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Congratulations.
[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll be back next time with another one.
[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Until then, maybe the first to wish you a Merry Christmas.
