BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS
Samara is a wedding planner despite the fact that she was actually a really successful lawyer.
Speaking of used-to-be lawyers, we meet Nate in Queensland, Australia. His dad got sick and now he works with his brother on the boat.
Samara is on the phone with an old colleague who is in Australia for a trip. She asks Samara to come to Australia to help plan her parents' anniversary party. She's like I don't have another event for a few weeks….why the heck not.
She gets there and finds the yacht that her friend has for them to use. She is accidentally sprayed by water by Nate and it quickly becomes obvious that they know each other. Her friend, Liv, is like listen Nate is the best captain, you're the best event planner. It just made sense.
It doesn't take long for it to become obvious that Liv is trying to get these two rivals together!
They immediately start to bicker but then they start talking and hanging out. She starts wearing the necklace that he gave her back in the day. The sparks are clearly starting to fly again.
But there's a bit of an issue - she hired some firework company to put a firework show together but they're not getting the plan to Captain Nate. I'm sure it won't be a big deal though.
Nate & Samara go snorkeling and then he tells her he wants to get back into law. But then they get into an argument about how things ended between them at work. They really disagree about a witness that she wanted to put on the stand. But they talk it through and don't let the argument ruin the day!
She decides to use her father's contacts to try to get Nate a new job but the dude she talks to is really only interested in having her work for him. She insists she doesn't do law anymore.
Nate gets a call from that law firm but the person on the phone setting up the interview is confused and basically says crazy how you and Samara are interviewing for the same job. He's mad cuz he was under the impression she didn't want to do law?!
Then he gets a phone call from the fireworks people and he's like CANCEL THE FIREWORKS, GAHHHH! He goes to tell her the fireworks aren't gonna happen.
She finds out about how he's mad that she interviewed for his dream job and she's like dude bro I didn't apply for it, I got him the interview!
His brother is like dude you done goofed. You better fix the fireworks thing.
The happy couple renews their vows. It's nice.
The sun sets and she's beginning to think that the fireworks aren't gonna happen.
Nate shows up with flowers and apologizes and tells her he has an in person interview in Seattle next week. He is willing to break every rule in the book to not lose her and the fireworks start going off! They kiss BIG ONESSSSSSS!

[00:00:42] This is a Bramble Jam Podcast Hello everybody! Happy Tuesday to ya! If history is any indication, boys, we're a month out from the Hallmark Christmas schedule release. We've already gotten way more information than one. I know. What else could there be?
[00:01:06] I mean, hopefully for Bran, a lot more. If it's what we know now and nothing else, gonna be kind of a downer of a two dozen movie season. I feel like they've teased this more. But I mean, Rady is back. We know that. Per Sleepy Kitty Pau. Palaha back. Per Sleepy Kitty Palaha. I think that might be official. So we're kicking off with the Bears. And then there might be a Friday Night movie.
[00:01:35] And that's Bob Buck, Lindsey Fonseca? That's exactly right, Dan. And Tyler Hines' Time Loop movie? Have you watched the trailer? No, me either, yeah. No, we wouldn't. I wouldn't. You wouldn't. I know you didn't. No, absolutely not. I didn't. No, I haven't. But I mean, that, if we don't get anything else, I feel like Bob Buck, Lindsey Fonseca, Palaha, Rady, Tyler Hines' Time Loop. We got our top four, right? Andrew's doing a book one, right? One based on a book. Andrew's doing a book one? Andrew's doing a book one. Something based on a book. Yeah, well, so we got our top four.
[00:02:06] Come on, guys. I'm excited, guys. I'm excited. I'm excited. But we gotta, you know, get through it. We gotta get through it. We gotta power through it. The summer slog. Yeah, our final birthday movie is what we're gonna talk about. Oh, that's right. Happy Birthday, Hallmark. That's what this is. And then Fall Into Love. This movie in Australia. Yeah, on a boat. On a boat, but there's a celebration. Anniversary. There's a celebration. There is a celebration. Happy Birthday, Hallmark. There was a cake. It was a cake. It's there if you look. It's there if you look.
[00:02:36] Fall Into Love kicks off. We're gonna kick off a little early by trying some drinks with Chad. That's exactly right. Dan, thanks for bringing this up. Gilmore the Merrier. It has its own YouTube channel now. And to celebrate that and to celebrate the launch of fall drinks at Scooters. Scooters. Scooters Coffee. A lot of Gilmore fans have been flocking to Scooters for their fall drink menu, apparently. Yes, Scooters got us.
[00:03:04] Scooters got us because they did a little promo call and they did Scooters Hollow. That's right. Instead of Stars Hollow and had a lot of fall things. And we're like, should we try it? So we're gonna try it live today. 12.30. Yeah, today. Today. Tuesday. Today, yes. Tuesday, today. Today, 12.30 p.m. Eastern Time. Lincoln Bayou. Lincoln Bayou. So come and hang out with us. Rob, you wanna come try some drinks with us? Tuesday, noon 30? I mean, you're already here. I mean, it's today. Yeah, that's true. I haven't just said it. You're already here.
[00:03:33] I'll never say no to a coffee. Yeah. Yeah. All right. Let's talk afterwards. I might change my shirt before, but. Okay. I might too. No problem. Come and hang out over there. And while you're on that YouTube channel, you can subscribe to that channel. I'm excited. Are you gonna be live on that channel? We're gonna be live on that channel. That's the way to do it. You guys are big business boys. You think you're ready for that? On the Gilmore the Marrior channel? Oh, I don't know. Oh, boy. That's a big platform. You have to do it. That's fine. If you're nervous. Well, now I feel like I do.
[00:04:03] But you love fall beverages. I love fall bevies. That's why I wanted to include you. You love a fall bevy. Dan, have you ever tried the PSL? I remember very famously in Decked Almark season one for the Instagram. I tried my first pumpkin spice latte. So over here on our show, on our platform on Sundays, we've been doing the DTH classic episodes and we've been journeying through our past fall episodes. Okay. I know you. I'm a very big follower of the PSL.
[00:04:30] And was reminded in one of those episodes in season one of the whatever fall movie was. I don't remember what it was. That we talked about it. And you say, I don't think anybody wants to see me try a piece. Who's clamoring for this? There's a video. I bet you it's still on the end. I'm sure. But that made, because I felt like we had, but then that audio made me think like, oh, maybe we didn't do it. And I'm not a fan.
[00:04:54] I do love a pumpkin cream cold brew from Starbucks if you go like half the pumps. Like I just too sweet otherwise. You know what got me in the false spirits? The false spirit? Yeah. What got me in the false spirit? What is it? My best friend Dan. Oh. Oh, what did I do? What did I do, buddy? He floated me a pie. I floated you a pie. He floated me a pie? It wasn't good or what? It was a great pie. Dude, it was my favorite one I made. Already? The pumpkin chocolate. Pumpkin chocolate. Pumpkin spice chocolate. He floated it over. I did.
[00:05:24] Yeah. I did. Dude, where's your air conditioning at in your house if you're able to bake a pie? I'm 70. Get out of here. I mean, it was like, once that thing set the next day, it was so good. Man. Oh, my goodness. I got to be honest. I have some things to watch after this, and I thought about bringing it into the office today just to eat while I did it, and then I forgot. Oh, no. Because I still have some left, but I'm going to eat it tonight. It's a great pie. In my bed. Wow. Where else would you eat pie? Once you hand it over the fence.
[00:05:54] You can do it every time. No, that's true. I can eat that whenever I want to. I have to go over this with my children all the time. My son wants to give you something and then tell you what to do with it regularly, and I'm like, that's not how that works. I'm proud of you for practicing what you preach. Yeah. You do whatever you want. Eat it in your bed. I will. Eat it crust side up. I don't care. Eat it off the sheets. Put it on your bed and just go mouth it. I don't care. Put your pillow on your lap. Do your thing. How many? Take pie on top of the pillow. No, I don't think we're going to make it to 45 at 45, guys. Whoa.
[00:06:20] But how many new subscribers for me to record a video of me eating the pie on my bed? Brain has an OnlyFans. It's just him eating food in bed. It's just for him. I mean, he's doing it anyway. Yeah. He's doing it anyway. Might as well just live stream every night. Listen. How'd you guys know? I have to keep it up secret. How'd you guys know about this? Aussie at heart is what we're talking about today. Get ready, Timestamp Guy. August 15th is when it premiered.
[00:06:47] Daniel Lissing, the fish in Australia. Let's find out what this movie was about. August 15th, it went a little something like this. So, Samara is a wedding planner. Not a wedding planner. A party planner. Despite the fact that she's actually a really successful lawyer. Speaking of used to be lawyers, we meet Nate in Queensland, Australia.
[00:07:17] It's what Australia? Queensland. There it is. His dad got sick, so he had to leave the law firm in the States. And now he works with his brother on the boat. Samara is on the phone with an old work colleague who is in Australia for a trip. She asks Samara to come to Australia to help plan her parents' anniversary party. She's like, I don't have another event for a few weeks. So why the heck not?
[00:07:45] She gets there and finds the yachts that they're going to be spending time on over the course of the next week. And she accidentally gets sprayed by water by Nate. By Nate. Yeah, there it is. And it quickly becomes obvious that these two know each other. Her friend, Liv, is like, listen, Nate is the best captain. You're the best event planner. It just made sense.
[00:08:14] No ulterior motives here, folks. Ulterior? No ulterior motives. Ulterior motives. It doesn't take long for these two to, you know, start hanging out. Listen, they used to work together. They used to be rivals. They used to potentially maybe be lovers. Lovers to enemies to lovers. It might be one of those situations. They immediately start bickering. And then they start talking and hanging out.
[00:08:42] She starts wearing this necklace that I think he gave her back in the day. Is that right? Yeah. The sparks are clearly flying again. Fireworks are going off. But that's exactly right. I was going to get to it. It's a bit of an issue. But rules. She hired a firework. She hired a firework company to put on a firework show. They need to get that planned to Captain Nate, even though Captain Nate has already said, no fireworks will be shot off in or around my boats. That's the rules.
[00:09:12] But listen, I'm sure it won't be a big deal. Nate and Samara go snorkeling together. And then he tells her that he wants to get back into law. But then they get into an argument about how things ended between them at work. They really disagree about a witness that she thought should have been put on the stand. But they talk it through. And they don't let that argument ruin their day.
[00:09:38] She decides to use her father's contacts, not for the eyes, but people he knows, to try to get Nate a new job, this nonprofit lawyer thing that he's really jazzed about. She hops on the phone with this guy. He's really only interested in her. He's like, hey, I want you to come. And she's like, no, I don't do law anymore. I want you to talk to Nate. And he's like, well, if you insist. Nate gets a call from that law firm.
[00:10:07] But the person on the phone to set up the interview sucks. She's the worst. And it's like, hey, crazy how you and Samara are both interviewing for the same job. And he's like, what? So he's really mad now because he's under the impression that she didn't want to do law. You told me you don't want to do law. And now you're going up for my dream job? You scoundrel.
[00:10:35] Then he gets a phone call from the fireworks people. And he's like, cancel the fireworks for the love of God. He goes to tell her that the fireworks aren't going to happen. Not on his watch. So she finds out that he's actually mad because he thinks that she interviewed for his dream job.
[00:11:04] And she's like, dude, bro, I didn't apply for it. I got you the interview. His brother is like, hey, buddy, you done goofed on this one. So you better if you want any chance at this girl, you better make sure the fireworks happen or else all hell's going to break loose. Nate shows up with flowers and apologizes and tells her that he actually has an in-person interview set up in Seattle next week. So maybe we can see each other again.
[00:11:33] Also, he says he's willing to break every rule in the book to make sure that he doesn't. Dog playing basketball? Yeah. No, well, there's actually not a rule. Whoa! There's nothing there? Nothing in there. The dog can play basketball. Wow. There might be now. You would think they would probably add that to the rule. He's willing to break every rule in the book to not lose her. And then the fireworks show starts proving that he is willing to break every rule, even if it's the ones that he made.
[00:12:01] And they end up kissing big ones. And that, my friends, was Aussie at heart. We did it. We did do it. Let's take a break. We'll come back. We'll break this movie down here on four segments. My God. Four segments. Friends. I like that. Hey. Brandon, before you get going. Go ahead.
[00:12:31] In the chat, bramblejamplus.com, you can watch this live. Yeah. If anything goes wrong, you just get to see it on edit. What happened? Gina said this movie is a classic. Lovers to enemies to lovers to friends to enemies to fireworks to enemies to lovers. Ah. A tale as old as time. You know what I mean? Classic trope. You love to see it. All right. It's time for us to break this movie down. We're going to start with a hot take. It only makes sense. We're going to share exactly how we felt about this movie. There's one guy who is in the running as of right now to be hot taker of the year. Wow. We'll see.
[00:13:00] I think a lot is kind of this. If you can do this well today, then maybe you might secure your spot. So, Brian, big deal for you. What did you think of Aussie at heart? Okay. My big takeaway from Aussie at heart was that I just think the fish and listening should have been the ones to stay on the boat with a tummy ache. And everybody else should have left the boat, do whatever they're going to do, and we just
[00:13:29] hang out on the boat with the fish and listening for the rest of the movie. Do whatever they got to do. They could scrub that thing down, do whatever they need to do on the boat. We should have just been hanging out with them the whole time. And that is it. Everybody else got on my nerves, really, frankly, was their stories. Okay. They're great. You need to have that stuff going on. Do them like a tiny bit and then send them on shore to do all this stuff and somehow keep the fish and listening on the boat and nobody else around because they were just like if
[00:13:58] they were in like a different movie, maybe a totally different movie, maybe take the boat out of it completely. I don't know. Like, yeah, unless you figure out a way to do a good nighttime scene on a boat, just don't do the boat because you can't. The boat rules. Yeah. Those are the boat rules. So that part was just like after a while, it started to just wear me down where I'm like, I don't want to hear anything. I don't want to hear from anybody else. I just want the fish and listening, fishling, if you will, to do their thing here. And that's it. Okay. Thank you.
[00:14:25] I did like a couple of things I did like about this. And this is sort of like party planning. What's that when you're making a food and you do it like reverse? Like it's like, I can't think of it right now. When you make a food and do it like reverse? Oh, you do it in parts. Deconstructed. Yeah, this is like treasure, party planning deconstructed, which I liked in this movie. You unmake it?
[00:14:51] Well, you do it and you show certain parts of it where they were on the sand there planning for the treasure hunt, burying the treasure, setting up for this whole thing. I actually enjoyed that part of it, the set up to the party and all this stuff. And it kind of gave me like a survivor behind the scenes vibes. Like they're prepping for the event that is going to happen. And I thought that was cool. And I wish they stuck with that. Like just put them in every location, setting up for whatever's going to happen, hanging out.
[00:15:21] And that's all we needed. Got a Jaws reference misquoted as usual, which was very cool. It is tricky. Just overall, though, hard time getting behind flying to Australia to help with a four person anniversary thing that really on a boat that had a crew helping out as well. So I don't know. The whole premise of it was just too much. Like just put the fish and listening together doing anything and eliminate everything else. And that was it. That's all I really wanted. We didn't get a lot of that. Nope. Sure didn't.
[00:15:51] Yeah, I don't disagree with you, Brian. I will say for a lovers to enemies to lovers to friends to enemies to fireworks to enemies to lovers movie. It was pretty boring, which is impressive for as many steps as it is in that process. Pretty boring movie. Pretty boring premise. Obviously, this movie is at its best when it's just the fish and listening on screen together. And we don't get like as many of those scenes as I would have wanted. So, yeah, two really great leads.
[00:16:20] I felt like they had chemistry. The kiss at the end of this movie was nuts and made up for a lot of the blindness of the rest of this movie. But it is my job to not just decide if I like a movie based on kiss. And I know that goes. I know. Since when? Mark that down. Since when? Mr. Cream equals two more leaves or whatever it is. Yes, thank you. You get it.
[00:16:46] So, I have to say this movie is just okay for me. Probably middle of the pack, which is shocking given the leads. But a surprising amount of this movie is truly boring. And that's a bummer. But, yeah, great leads, great kiss. So, I'll remember it for the good times. Dano? Glasses up, everybody. The good times. Yeah, for once, I'm kind of, I think we're all in the same boat here. Whoa, that was really good.
[00:17:15] That's a boat! I see. I know. Thank you. You didn't even know. No, I knew. I knew. He had that whole beginning to think of that, Brad. Yeah, I just, you know, Will Smith was at the peak of his powers, had just made Men in Black and Independence Day and back-to-back summers, and he made Wild Wild West. And we're all worse for it. Daniel Lissing and Rhiannon Fish are at the peak of their powers in this movie. They are.
[00:17:45] And there's about 20 minutes of those two looking at each other and saying stuff. And that 20 minutes, kind of unimpeachable. The rest of this movie, very impeachable. Should be impeached. Should be convicted. Should be thrown out. I'm not a crook! I'm not a crook! Completely forgotten for all of us. Boats. Fireworks. Funny cartoon maps. Party planning, where you bring someone literally from the other side of the world
[00:18:13] to plan a party for eight people. I just the rest of this movie is so so bad and they are so so good that we really are at quite an impasse so like it's one of these movies that asked me to rank this and the movie last week was sussed in Metcalf and I'm having a real hard time because what do I want out of a movie both are fundamentally flawed but I think I would rather watch these two in a bad
[00:18:43] movie I think I think I would than just about any two other leads but make no mistake and it's not like what is that Christmas Cup with Fish and Ben Rosenbaum that movie is so terrible this is bad it's not that bad but these two like if there are two actors that get more mileage out of just a stare and a reaction than these two on the Hallmark Channel I don't know them no two
[00:19:13] two actors get more out of just a stare and a reaction than listening and fish and boy howdy the 20 minutes of those two great but I'm with Brian why do we need to literally literally put them in any other movie any other movie I can't even imagine them in last week's movie how amazing it would have been I just that is that is kind of my issue here so it's not a good movie but these two yeah pretty great you know where I stand on last week's movie yeah I know and you're wrong and that's fine
[00:19:43] um all right let's get to here he's wrong yeah favorite of year is a bit much yeah it might be I don't know if it all right well trolling us a bit if we go to the rankings whenever we do another ranking I don't know when we do those these days it doesn't matter it's something important we'll do the last one we'll have Brian explain it to you in real time I if that movie is anywhere near real movie territory we're gonna have an actual fight what's near define near in it oh well that's so I mean it can be in below it standard standard feels big fun maybe six
[00:20:13] big fun maybe it might sneak up into it Brian I mean the problem is is that that's gonna end up being the top 16 or 18 movies yeah so I wouldn't have it there but if it gets there at like 15 16 17 okay I feel like I'm gonna be okay okay but top 10 no no way no way we might make some deals yeah we'll see what happens let's get to uh all the feels this is where we talk about what this movie would give us feels I'll start with you Brian guy yeah I mean them together obviously is the all of the feels uh their fight
[00:20:42] I thought was pretty intense they kind of like got loud and rowdy for a minute I'm like yeah and I thought it would last longer like I thought that it was gonna I thought it was gonna ruin the day yeah and it did and they talked it out and I guess that's how you do it no point taken yeah I mean point taken yeah noted yeah I'll save it for mine because mine's very similar but you go the real feels I mean the kiss was not just a kiss that was a make out session yes on TV in front of everybody a make up
[00:21:12] a make out I couldn't believe it they went so hard through the whole firework the director must just be like keep going keep it going we didn't get it that or it was like hey guys like we're out of here we're leaving like you're done yeah stop it that was I don't remember seeing one going that hard and it was it was pretty good yeah we've seen Hallmark try fireworks before and it always is clunky and weird and I actually felt like this movie did the fireworks pretty well it was a good show good time I will also say
[00:21:40] the snorkeling scene was like a commercial for Australia oh yeah like even with the music it's like can you imagine she's waving over smiling she waves she goes like this hey Ken and the music's like this generic commercial music and it did make me want to go to Australia so congratulations to that commercial that they shot for the wonderful people of Australia Dano yeah a couple weeks ago the Italy movie which also happy birthday homework obviously I said it was the worst
[00:22:10] misunderstanding I've ever seen and I was prepared to be wrong two weeks later with this one but then I was shocked at how they just both admitted where they were wrong and apologized this movie features more authentic apologies in it's 84 minute run time than the Gilmore's has in Gilmore Girls has in two seasons it is like that both of these two like just say they're sorry when they're wrong when things get misunderstood in a way that I just found to be
[00:22:40] borderline unbelievable it was so crazy how often they were like I can see how you felt that way I'm really sorry that that was that I did that very very impressed with that and once again that has to do with those two talking not anything else in the movie so there's that let's take a break we'll come back we'll get to the wait what's here on the other side of it here on take the hallmark that's not coming for a bottle it's still working in the same boat welcome back everybody it's take the hallmark talking about Ozzy at heart today
[00:23:10] hallmark's final birthday movie happy 25 to hallmark 24th let's get to the wait what so we're talking about what in this we made us go wait what I'll start with you Brian can you go on a boat if you're pregnant should she be doing that I don't know I know you can go on a boat if you're pregnant give me a break
[00:23:44] it's hard to say it seemed weird that he was he was from Australia and he said I want to go to the United States and learn their country's law and study law and work only there it only applies there and then if I want another job I'm just going to have to go work on a boat until I figure something else out it just seems so weird to be to live someplace and then decide I want to do what they're doing over there and learn that thing that only applies to that region
[00:24:14] that's right that's it learning law is different in the United States than in Australia God forbid my dad gets sick this degree is worthless totally I can't ever do anything it was such a weird career choice because it's very specific to one region you have to do it there so guys I'm going into law in the United States in the United States in the United States the chaos at the end very heavy handed but I kind of liked it like I feel like throwing all those things at the end worked pretty well for this movie maybe it's because most of it
[00:24:42] was at a very low intensity rate most of the movie and all of a sudden it spiked up and so it was like exciting so it was chaotic which usually would be too much but for this I kind of thought that worked pretty well that nighttime scene on the boat boy oh my gosh just don't do you mean the backdrop of the stars behind Daniel Lissing yeah oh that's what they were yeah dude I just like holy cow so distracting they clearly had a shot of those two sitting on a boat at night
[00:25:12] and then they tried to match him match him standing clearly in front of a green screen that was so bad like if you do one side practical you can't do the other side green screen we will be able to tell immediately yeah it was obvious brutal yeah like just put them inside the cabin like anywhere else like you don't need to be outside well they do because they have a conversation about a constellation right but you can look out the little porthole yeah that's a way to do it yeah there you go it was
[00:25:42] it was very distracting it was real bad but you know sometimes you miss those types of things when they're just so bad like that the fireworks off the boat is stupid fireworks are only good from far away they're not good when you're standing underneath them I can't stand it you get showered in the stuff this happened on 4th of July everyone might welcome to the south yeah they go down the neighborhood they're like alright everybody gather around we're gonna step back 4 feet while we light off these this giant just massive artillery fireworks we got a Costco
[00:26:11] yeah holy and then you stand there and you're just showered in ash and stuff's in your eye and like you can't breathe because there's smoke because every southerner it's the worst and then you stink and you gotta go oh it's brutal and then like just step back go home you Yankee get out of here they're illegal in Massachusetts and I get why like thank god it's so tough because Brian's being such a square but I don't disagree with him personally why do you have to stand under the fireworks I think
[00:26:41] closer to freedom that's exactly right I wanna feel it I wanna feel the freedom come and take them from my the hands I used to have that I've just blew off that's right they always shoot at you they always it happened this 4th of July they shot at us yeah I don't think fireworks should be sold to anyone with a pulse I don't think that that should happen yeah 100% can you even be at fireworks if you're pregnant is like the big question on our minds that's it I just don't care for fireworks that much either anything else
[00:27:09] there are so many fireworks yeah okay guys I just have different types of friends no friend has ever called me up last minute and said come to Australia and spend a week on my yacht with me and I take that personally that's right I just think this is another example of Hallmark Hallmark having no idea how just normal people are this is not a normal thing she handles it like yeah it's another one of these crazy
[00:27:39] this is a once in a lifetime call that I'm still waiting on come to Australia stay on my yacht but also that's a crazy back to even just come to Australia it's like oh my gosh are you serious she also on a yacht she knew that Daniel Lissing was the captain of the boat and didn't tell her yeah that is mean that's quite a friend that both of those things happen from the same friend crazy pregnancy brain down come on oh my god I love you guys
[00:28:09] and you never have once asked me to come to Australia with you and say it yes we're working on it thanks for ruining the surprise I guess hey I asked Brian to come do coffee drinks on Gilmore the Mariner tomorrow that's true that's pretty much the same thing I gave you a pie last weekend I'm just trying no you guys are right you guys are right it's not how much it's the thought behind it that's right you get it I'm gonna sound a whole lot like Brian Harreld here but hear me out can't wait I think I'm on dad's side here when you
[00:28:37] when you have a child and you want them to do what they love right but there is a part of you that sees how hard they worked to become a lawyer and to see how good they are and you just every once in a while want to go are you sure you want to be a party planner yeah are you I just I know we've had the conversation but are you there's not a little part of you that wants to go back that's a tough one
[00:29:07] to be a lawyer yeah it's just you know Brian you get it 100% he probably helped her get into law school 100% 100% I just I do there is a part of me that's like I get why you keep asking because are you really party planning for lawyer it's going to cost it's going to take so long for you to pay off that debt now or it could have just been a three a few years so at one point
[00:29:38] when the party's getting ready to start the friend is like gotta get the music going and she's like okay I gotta put it on the Bluetooth and then she immediately then goes and hops on a phone call which if the phone was connected to Bluetooth everyone would have heard that phone call really ruined the vibe there I did love how earnest his brother was when he walks around the corner and says you blew it by canceling the fireworks just like so earnest and on it I love that I've been to
[00:30:07] a handful of weddings in my life and never once have I seen and Valor Newells for that matter never once have I seen people applaud for walking down the aisle and they did it for both of them here and I think I kind of liked it like yeah I mean there's so few people there and they're on a boat they just felt awkward they were like you gotta do something true yeah you walked I mean there are stairs involved so I guess that's always impressive I was
[00:30:37] at the end of this movie with the fireworks I couldn't get a good understanding of what direction the fireworks were everywhere because they did seem like because they're looking out but then when they do the full shot showing everybody there that's behind them I think it's the barge was close enough to where if you stood in the back you could look up and still see fireworks above you but I can see how it was because they all come to the one side
[00:31:10] barges showed up all the barges she called enough barges that were like maybe so then they all showed up it's an APB all barges all barges Dano yeah they're sitting together and he says that's my favorite constellation that's what I meant for he he doesn't say do you see the stars to the right he just goes
[00:31:41] that's my favorite constellation and he's not pointing to anything he's not giving any indication of what he's looking at now later he does explain it to her and it turns out his favorite constellation are the five stars that are I don't know ten times the size of any other stars in the sky that's my mentor that's my favorite constellation I do love that there was a court case that was so bad that they worked on together that both of these individuals quit law entirely
[00:32:11] they both went I can't do it anymore like what like and it wasn't a death row case this was just a random disagreement on how to utilize a witness and they're both like if this is law it's not for me both of he quit though because of his dad his dad got sick which is why he went back to Australia they both quit law after that case which is crazy brutal case listen how crazy was that witness crazy witness boat rules can't shoot fireworks on the boat
[00:32:41] okay boat rules an adult can't drive a jet ski by themselves how is that a boat rule what's the point of boat or jet ski if you can't use the jet ski if I can't take my boat for me to hop off boat to get on smaller boat to drive myself then what's the point of boat what's the point of boat she wants
[00:33:13] to get on a jet skis I don't understand that I wrote down here the entire soundtrack sounds like a cover of capital city safe and sound and I stand by that comment go back and look by the third one I was like the one that was the australia I was like that's safe and sound it isn't but it sounds like it so there's that she does really talk about fire so much at some point at some point it's like she's
[00:33:43] very like the fireworks were a go though right and everybody's like yeah we're not in charge of the boat yeah yeah they are so that was weird her dad she asked how his day went and he said I got in a game of golf this morning sir no you didn't that is not how anyone that's ever golfed has ever talked got in a game of golf were you golden tea at the local pub got in a game of golf yeah that's how I would say it yeah exactly and you played golf once
[00:34:12] got in a game of golf I got in I got a game of golf I walked in it by accident they were playing I wasn't how would you say I got in a round of golf yeah got in a round oh it's
[00:34:46] their parents life and she he says quick what was your parents favorite food of the 1990s and she doesn't blink and goes that's easy pizza and he said not yours theirs and he laughs and she goes no it's theirs two look and it says it on the card and he goes and that's the end of the scene I missed that
[00:35:16] last part what in the world did we did we just need to fill time how did we have to happen for me to be like I'm actually down on pizza now but this guy believes his wife heard the question and just went
[00:35:46] no it's my favorite food pizza and then went no not now in the 90s and then it was like no it just he's like no you dummy dumb dumb that's your favorite food what was your parents in the 90s I had the answer no it
[00:36:37] is quite a party planning bill is that a business I do think that when you are going to be on yacht for a week traveling the coast of Australia you don't think about money the
[00:37:07] and I don't think she ever picks them up I think they're just on the dock what do you think the person who stumbles upon these flowers what story have they come up with in their mind like pizza yeah boy someone was proposed to and said no they threw the flowers down imagine coming across just a big bouquet of flowers just scattered about on the dock that's not a good
[00:37:37] sign that's tough something happened here should I call the police was there a struggle I don't know Dano yeah so this movie does a thing where it shows you a cartoon map and it shows you was like they could be making those ports up for all I know and I appreciated
[00:38:06] it slash thought that was only we did everybody congratulations to us it's time for double decker of the week is where we dive deep into a life of a double decker who

[00:39:35] like you send them this thing and they open it and it's just empty there's nothing there oh boy and so you don't yeah they're stuck thinking and you can keep this serious mind game yeah big time so you're just in your head like did something fall out like is there supposed to be money in so you can just order these any this isn't just school this is anything you can send a hologram
