[00:10:42] Late in this movie when everyone has turned back to color and she is still black and white this dad sits down with her daughter He's talking to someone from the Dick Van Dyke show looks at her and says well

[00:10:55] This has certainly been one of the more unique Christmases. We've had recently one of Recently What is going on in your family? This is just in a top-five list recent weird Christmases This is one Everything else is last

[00:11:18] Anything that is near this where is where are you see? This has been one of I don't know if you remember 2020 but whole boy that one was a dilly Letterman top five it's gonna crush. We all turned to ghost in 2018 Everyone in town was a musical

[00:11:44] Realize we realize we didn't have a Christmas shop I So not even in her life recently, yeah, this is one of the more unique in the last five to ten Bro, like stop going home. I'm with you stay in Chicago

[00:12:03] The mayor says all public declarations of any kind are prohibited What does that mean? Can I go outside and just be like it's cold? Decorations Now Much more on board it's late guys. This is certainly been one of the more unique. It's like your house on December 26

[00:15:23] But I also think that Netflix might be the reason why the Shrek's not over so I'm gonna only give it one I'm gonna give it one candle I don't believe in Ted Sarandos, but I do believe in It's a vindictive candle that's exactly right

[00:15:41] Which is like the opposite of a troop for the candle for the troops Lifetime Christmas preview number one October 27th, 2023. I hate you And so now we're ready to dive into the first of four movies we're gonna talk about in this preview show

[00:22:20] To play wedding and then over the course of the next 25 years She put them away in an old room in case a Situation would come where she would need to pretend wedding as as an adult Well, she even knew then that single people suck

[00:22:37] So it's like I need this in the back of my pocket just in case expectations to miss have a sham Lastly and I do need to make this clear because I mentioned in my hot take but

[00:22:51] The premise of this movie is these people want to get married here later Months later, but before they hand you a $25,000 check they want to come Stay there for three nights on Christmas yes away from their family

[00:23:09] Make sure that the food is good and the showers work and that they can celebrate Christmas there That is the premise of this movie. We're gonna get married in the spring What if we celebrate Christmas at a B&B and check out the showers and the food

[00:23:23] That's what we're doing here. I don't know how you plan your way Yeah, three months before the wedding. Can you imagine be like hey mom dad? We're not coming home for Christmas

[00:23:33] There's a B&B that's offered three nights in there in their place showers may or may not work It's just so stupid. So I got miss Christmas comes to town October 31st 2023 Hi, I'm bran and I love Hallmark Christmas movies

[00:25:38] Who is lying to Erica Durant's that he's the owner the company owners God's son and wants to check out the business and During that lying process. He tells her I'm in a like I do one job

[00:25:50] But I really like haven't found my passion and then come to find out that part wasn't a lie He's just like studied how to be a nurse something that takes a lot of time and effort to do and then he's been a

[00:26:03] Nurse in the meantime while he's looking for his career in broadcast journalism I guess like we find out as the movie goes along that this guy has gone From nurse to host and that's what he really wants to do realize passion

[00:26:17] What but my question to related to that is how fast did he become a nurse? Because he says the reason why he became a nurse in the first place was to help care for his mom

[00:26:27] So his mom got sick. Yeah, he went through all of nursing school. Mom was still alive He became a nurse then mom died. I wasn't he in the arm a nerd an army in the nurse

[00:26:48] Maybe you come out of that, you know, like I got a few more things Has to become but what's nice is that's a lot of work to do Yeah, you secretly want to host a home shopping, but I didn't know that until he did it

[00:26:59] It was like so we're to understand that after Barbara Niven finishes this tour of life After Brendan kills another one of his patient is gonna leave nursing and take up hosting I don't want to That would be like someone leaving principaling and hosting a show about

[00:30:13] I eat the Hershey kisses with the nuts in them and I don't know you're a monster. You're a psychopath It's you take a Hershey kiss with an almond. That's all that's around didn't suck on it

[00:30:23] No, I don't put the nut in my mouth. I'd eat around it. I eat the chocolate part I Show you It's pretty so and if you're looking to cut back on eating too much chocolate

[00:30:39] It's a good way to go because I can only eat so much without putting it on your that's right I have to stop and hold myself back a little bit, but that's over half of that. That's insane candy

[00:30:48] It's insane. Yeah, that's so much like you're just you're doing so All that's around I don't really know how it all worked out but you started Kovac I don't know how but that like doing this Take my not take my like you're passing out nuts

[00:31:09] Sometimes I just throw it away because that's what peanuts belong in the trash Feeling that that Brian doesn't have a nut algae Personally like them and so he's making everyone That is what putting nuts just like in

[00:31:27] Eat around it. He won't know it. We'll have a problem. Can you bring it? Do you have a beep ends like no No, I don't bring an EpiPen It would be pretty fun like, you know to just kind of see what happens

[00:31:42] I put it to the test you say you're cured. Yeah. Yeah after the marathon. I think I might be yeah Yeah, there is so we're just gonna have to do it Dump in a whole thing of peanut butter. No

[00:31:56] We'll get there. Just eat one instead of eating around the nut eat the nut eat the nut Yeah, put the nut in there. Yeah, the problem is at this point. I'm not even interested

[00:32:04] Like I don't know. I have no I wish I were curious, but I've gone so long with just not trying that Maybe we'll see see where this is a little bit curious

[00:32:14] I wish like I wish I wanted any desire at all because of the protein and nuts. It's a very healthy snack I wish but now I don't have any people talk about peanut butter all the time You're not even a little bit like man

[00:32:23] I bet that is good like you we like we have so much In things you talk about how great the snacks are. I don't think about it at all

[00:32:29] One of my two kids has a friend in class that's allergic to peanuts and so they can't have them anywhere This is the school can't have him blah blah kids are the worst

[00:32:37] Yeah, no kidding, but my kid has taken upon himself to believe that he now is allergic So he'll come home and his brother will get a snack and be like Bro you can't he's like no, I can't I'm allergic And I'm like, nope, not true at all

[00:32:55] Can you Matt like Brian what Brian just explained is the equivalent of him taking a Reese's out just licking it? outside chocolate That's peanut butter like that's too far Is what you're doing is what you're you're insane if there's candy with nuts that you can't eat around

[00:33:18] That is like you're a monster you're insane you're insane I know you really well I just throw it away. So don't worry about me handing my nuts to you. You can't do that You can't do that All around the Bite

[00:33:37] Kiss have you ever licked chocolate off of the shell of a nut? No, be honest No, one time you never lick that. No, absolutely not I'll bite the the chocolate and if I got some nut on it some shell

[00:33:51] I just discard with a Hershey kiss with an almond in the middle. You might that's those are small top of World you bite that and then usually on the side usually the night nuts not like perfectly sent for the amount of time

[00:34:04] You know you fight you gotta mess around and find out a little bit For all the time that you're spending doing that and discarding you just go buy normal Hershey kisses you could but if they're right Are you for chocolate?

[00:34:21] She's with almonds like what are we gonna do? They're just sitting right there. I'm gonna put them to work Give me the nip of a kiss quick I Gotta have insane can't not it's time for the hot take it is where we share exactly how he felt about

[02:41:35] The musical the Sondheim musical merrily we roll along is playing in New York right now And I didn't realize until the end that Imani is one of the lead characters in it right now. Wow, it's incredible So I tried to soak that up

[02:41:49] but really where my head ended up going the entire time is if you guys heard that Randy Travis song where he's like a Farmer and a teacher hooker and a preacher

[02:41:58] And it's about them being on like a bus and then the bus crashes and three of them die And it turns out that the hooker which we use the term sex worker Was the one that survived and carried the message forward I

[02:42:11] Started kind of like paralleling that to the movie and I think it killed my vibe Massive question that I have that I know that we're going to dedicate 24 minutes to is the quote I'll go get the blankets. We have stashed for cold summer night. Thank you

[02:53:51] Which I always throws me when I know no man in Hallmark movies skates with figure skates They always have hockey skates on probably because most of the actors are Canadians who have grown up playing hockey Included this movie Marcus also wore those hockey skates

[02:54:08] But I wanted to be a figure skater and I even I even had dreams I had a crush on a girl named Cheryl in like seventh shot of the share. She's definitely listening but I hope so and and she and I

[02:54:23] Would play a piece of music at home as when I was going to bed I would listen to the radio and if a sappy love song came on I would put an ice skating routine in my head with her and me with a spotlight on us and I

[02:54:34] Black outfits with a little bit of sequence on them, right? I had the whole thing planned out So running home every day after school to look in the Sears catalog and see and just gaze at those ice skates

[02:54:46] I did that for about a month before Christmas and when they showed up it was like, yes So every Tuesday mom took us to the the public ice skating rink and after school that came a part of my life

[02:54:58] So that was this this movie was nostalgia in that way silent night fatal night December 29th 2023 big she pours herself a glass of wine Lays down on the couch and just kind of like dive into a book here this and then suddenly no in the background

[02:55:16] You see someone Come in And then they you go you go well, I Brian, I don't know if you know what happens in Lifetime movies, but chloroform is always So she gets chloroform behind and she's like

[02:55:39] And then the person says you just got chloroformed. She has the best night's sleep. Oh, totally I mean, I don't even know where you get chloroform We see the bottle behind you buddy You just got That was it Dan. Oh boy the holiday season came and went
