[00:00:17] Deck The Hallmark TGT Podcast

[00:00:19] La la la la la la

[00:00:23] Brandon and friends host this podcast

[00:00:25] La la la la la la

[00:00:27] We hope you like this jolly podcast

[00:00:29] La la la la la

[00:00:34] What's up all you party animals

[00:00:36] Party animals

[00:00:38] Last month we had Mommy Meanest

[00:00:40] That's right

[00:00:42] This month we have Daddy's Deadly Secret

[00:00:44] Daddy Daycare with Marvin?

[00:00:46] Daddy's Deadly Secret

[00:00:48] Another title

[00:00:50] I'll give you my daddy's deadly secret

[00:00:52] That I forgot until

[00:00:54] Until it happens

[00:00:56] In the movie

[00:00:58] Right

[00:01:00] That's Daddy's Deadly Secret

[00:01:02] Got it

[00:01:04] This movie is not called

[00:01:06] Missing Girls Time

[00:01:08] It's not more

[00:01:10] There's more to it

[00:01:12] That's later in the month we have the Missing Girls

[00:01:14] But we gotta do a daddy for Father's Day

[00:01:16] Of course

[00:01:18] Happy early Father's Day to all the

[00:01:20] Papas out there

[00:01:22] My dad, your dad, to us as well

[00:01:24] To us as well, yes

[00:01:26] Of course

[00:01:28] You wanna say anything to any dads in your life?

[00:01:32] No I don't have a sugar daddy

[00:01:36] I'd like one

[00:01:38] Before

[00:01:40] That is a message

[00:01:42] Listen

[00:01:44] You are

[00:01:46] Are you accepting applications?

[00:01:48] How does that work?

[00:01:50] Are you filling out applications?

[00:01:52] I don't know how that works either

[00:01:54] According to Lifetime I need to be in a bar

[00:01:56] And I'll be sipping my martini

[00:01:58] And then a sugar daddy will offer

[00:02:00] To buy my drink and then buy me

[00:02:02] Everything I ever wanted

[00:02:04] Shouldn't there be a dating app

[00:02:06] For that?

[00:02:08] There has to be right?

[00:02:10] There must be

[00:02:12] I know from Yo Gavel Gavel that there was

[00:02:14] Seeking arrangements

[00:02:16] Or something which was for

[00:02:18] Sugar daddies

[00:02:20] But that was more of an escort service

[00:02:22] Yeah but

[00:02:24] This is like an actual

[00:02:26] Compatibility thing

[00:02:28] For someone who wants

[00:02:30] Those two people

[00:02:32] I've upped my range

[00:02:34] On my dating profile

[00:02:36] What does up your range mean?

[00:02:38] What does that mean?

[00:02:40] I realized

[00:02:42] That my peak

[00:02:44] Top age was 40

[00:02:46] But I'm 40

[00:02:48] So I was like oh my god

[00:02:50] I'm missing out on all these opportunities

[00:02:52] Of these older more successful

[00:02:54] Gentlemen

[00:02:56] So you mean to tell me that basically

[00:02:58] Until the last week or so when you upped your range

[00:03:00] You were like I'm only dating dudes younger

[00:03:02] Than me?

[00:03:04] Well I didn't realize my settings were set

[00:03:06] To 40

[00:03:08] What did you kick it up to?

[00:03:10] 45? 50?

[00:03:12] Oh I went to 80

[00:03:14] You didn't go to 80

[00:03:16] However high

[00:03:18] It goes

[00:03:20] I think it goes to like 99

[00:03:22] The age does not exist

[00:03:24] You went from only younger people than me

[00:03:26] To yeah 90 whatever

[00:03:28] Yep

[00:03:30] To only great grandparents

[00:03:32] What'd you say?

[00:03:34] Bottom is 30

[00:03:36] And then up to 100

[00:03:38] Or 99 plus

[00:03:40] 30 to 99 plus

[00:03:42] So if you get to be 100

[00:03:44] On Bumble or whatever it is

[00:03:46] You then can just be like

[00:03:48] I'm 99 plus

[00:03:50] You can get

[00:03:52] I'm a hundred and four

[00:03:54] But I don't have to reveal that age

[00:03:56] I love how in their wildest dreams

[00:03:58] They're like no one

[00:04:00] In triple digits is gonna

[00:04:02] You never know

[00:04:04] We'll cap it at 99 plus

[00:04:06] That'll

[00:04:08] Take care of it

[00:04:10] Now moving back to the small town

[00:04:12] Has that

[00:04:14] Dating apps changed?

[00:04:16] Has it affected it in any way?

[00:04:18] Oh yeah going from Chicago

[00:04:20] To where I am now

[00:04:22] The pool is much smaller

[00:04:24] So really

[00:04:26] Looking for the I've been speed dating

[00:04:28] Speed dating is what I've been doing

[00:04:30] In DC

[00:04:32] So you go up to

[00:04:34] An actual like we've seen in the movies speed dates?

[00:04:36] Not with the name tags

[00:04:38] And stuff but yeah

[00:04:40] Basically you meet at a coffee shop

[00:04:42] And there's a little app and it tells you

[00:04:44] Okay you're gonna meet this person

[00:04:46] Wearing this outfit and you sit for

[00:04:48] Like seven minutes and it's like okay go

[00:04:50] Talk to another person now

[00:04:52] Oh that's fun

[00:04:54] So it's all through apps now

[00:04:56] That makes sense

[00:04:58] Do you meet doing this in an evening?

[00:05:00] Well I went to queer

[00:05:02] Night and that is all inclusive

[00:05:04] So I met a lot of

[00:05:06] Lesbians

[00:05:08] So I gotta read the

[00:05:10] Fine print

[00:05:12] So you got set up with a lot of lesbians

[00:05:14] It was great

[00:05:16] I met a personal trainer

[00:05:18] A yoga instructor

[00:05:20] They were in the age range

[00:05:22] But no

[00:05:24] No matches

[00:05:26] Keep trying

[00:05:28] Keep us posted on this podcast

[00:05:30] I think we should do that every week

[00:05:32] For the folks at home

[00:05:34] That might not know

[00:05:36] About your

[00:05:38] Foot

[00:05:40] Do you want to talk about it?

[00:05:42] Sure let's just do all the life updates

[00:05:44] I injured my

[00:05:46] He's speed dating

[00:05:48] He's up to 99 plus

[00:05:50] He moved to a small town and he injured his foot

[00:05:52] Go ahead

[00:05:54] It's my calf

[00:05:56] I did a jumping jack

[00:05:58] They were squats

[00:06:00] So you're in a squat position

[00:06:02] And you have to open your arms

[00:06:04] Like you're saying

[00:06:06] At the same time

[00:06:08] So I was doing this really dumb move

[00:06:10] 5.30am workout class

[00:06:12] That I didn't want to do

[00:06:14] And I felt a cramp

[00:06:16] And then it turned into

[00:06:18] A calf tear

[00:06:20] Now when you injured yourself

[00:06:22] Doing a ghost jumping jack

[00:06:24] Is that when you realized

[00:06:26] Squat jumping jack sounds like it is not

[00:06:28] But is that when you realized

[00:06:30] That your dating profile was too low

[00:06:32] Needed to go up to the 99 plus

[00:06:34] Yeah that was the moment

[00:06:36] I was lying there with my foot up

[00:06:38] I'm like I think I need to raise my

[00:06:40] I'm feeling my age

[00:06:42] I'm going to ask the question

[00:06:44] Everyone older than us is thinking

[00:06:46] Did you stretch first?

[00:06:48] There is a little

[00:06:50] Class that is built into the workout

[00:06:52] And then they did a 2 minute

[00:06:54] Jumping session which they don't

[00:06:56] Usually do

[00:06:58] It was the first time they did it since I was there

[00:07:00] And I was like I don't jump

[00:07:02] But I did jump because I felt peer pressured

[00:07:04] It's a tale as old as time

[00:07:06] So you are not a jumper

[00:07:08] But you decided to jump because everyone else

[00:07:10] Was jumping

[00:07:12] Yep and the coach was like

[00:07:14] Come on what are you going to not jump

[00:07:16] And I was like oh

[00:07:18] I hate this guy

[00:07:20] He bullies me

[00:07:22] I know we are up against him

[00:07:26] You go to a 5

[00:07:28] 30 AM workout class

[00:07:30] There is a 2 minute stretch time

[00:07:32] And then it's straight into

[00:07:34] Squatted jumping jacks

[00:07:36] Are they trying to murder you?

[00:07:40] Well it's Mark Wahlberg's

[00:07:42] Workout school of workouts

[00:07:44] Mark Wahlberg's school of workouts

[00:07:46] I'm not going to say the name

[00:07:48] Because they are not sponsoring us

[00:07:50] That's right

[00:07:52] Hey take that Mark Wahlberg

[00:07:54] You tool

[00:07:56] Pay us and maybe we will mention you

[00:07:58] We did a lot of the work

[00:08:00] People can figure it out if they really wanted to

[00:08:02] But pay us

[00:08:04] The guy from the happening school of workouts

[00:08:06] So yeah it's his school of workouts

[00:08:08] I'm just saying

[00:08:10] If you see Mark Wahlberg with the shirt off

[00:08:12] The results

[00:08:14] Show the results

[00:08:16] So you are saying that the 2 minutes of stretching

[00:08:18] Straight into squat jacks is above board

[00:08:20] That's what Mark Wahlberg does

[00:08:22] I feel like squat jacks

[00:08:24] You would have to really build

[00:08:26] There is nothing about

[00:08:28] Looking at Mark Wahlberg

[00:08:30] That makes me go I could do what he does

[00:08:34] Yeah I mean there is a lot

[00:08:36] Of stuff that I thought I would never do

[00:08:38] And I was doing it for like

[00:08:40] 3 months

[00:08:42] Did you look better?

[00:08:44] I mean I always think

[00:08:46] I look the same no matter how much I work

[00:08:48] Out or diet

[00:08:50] I'm a Dorito

[00:08:52] I'm shaped like a Dorito

[00:08:54] A Dorito

[00:08:56] I got big broad shoulders and a little waist

[00:08:58] And no legs

[00:09:00] Or booty nothing

[00:09:02] Just a Dorito

[00:09:04] That's his dating profile bio

[00:09:06] I'm a Dorito

[00:09:08] Remember when Panda said he was an upside down top

[00:09:10] I was like no that's what a top

[00:09:12] Bigger sides up top here

[00:09:14] Yeah

[00:09:16] Dorito

[00:09:18] Alright Dorito

[00:09:20] Let's talk daddy's

[00:09:22] Deadly secrets

[00:09:24] I'll give you my daddy's deadly secrets

[00:09:26] And I just want to let you know

[00:09:28] Patrick this movie is very fresh

[00:09:30] Very fresh for me

[00:09:32] And what I typically do

[00:09:34] While watching these

[00:09:36] Is I'll watch a movie

[00:09:38] And what I do while watching these

[00:09:40] Is I'll watch them and then I will

[00:09:42] Read along

[00:09:44] At Lifetime Uncorked

[00:09:46] And just kind of see

[00:09:48] Are we

[00:09:50] Seeing the same thing

[00:09:52] And so if

[00:09:54] It seems like

[00:09:56] I have a different

[00:09:58] Take on this movie or a different

[00:10:00] Way of explaining it

[00:10:02] Just know

[00:10:04] That you know

[00:10:06] I've watched it separately

[00:10:08] And maybe

[00:10:10] Saw things happen differently

[00:10:12] With different characters

[00:10:14] I'm just saying if I correct

[00:10:16] Patrick

[00:10:18] Patrick could definitely be right

[00:10:20] You know

[00:10:22] It's not a correction it's an observation

[00:10:24] You know it's just your point of view

[00:10:26] That's fair

[00:10:28] And I also want to say Patrick

[00:10:30] That obviously Dan hasn't seen this movie

[00:10:32] And I told Dan before you came on here

[00:10:34] You really need to pay attention this week

[00:10:36] He said it like I don't normally

[00:10:38] Pay attention

[00:10:40] I just think that

[00:10:42] With this movie in particular

[00:10:44] There's a lot of moving parts

[00:10:46] It would be helpful if we had a diagram

[00:10:48] Of sorts to follow along

[00:10:50] Still on Lifetime right

[00:10:52] We're still on Lifetime

[00:10:54] But there's a few different storylines

[00:10:56] Happening that do all end up

[00:10:58] Coming together

[00:11:00] But there's also name changes

[00:11:02] And it just would have been helpful

[00:11:04] To have some sort of diagram

[00:11:06] But nevertheless

[00:11:08] Just really pay attention this week folks

[00:11:10] Good to know

[00:11:12] Patrick take it away

[00:11:14] This happens in Lifetime movies sometimes

[00:11:16] Especially when you have parents who are

[00:11:18] Divorced

[00:11:20] So we're dealing with a separation

[00:11:22] Situation right from the get go

[00:11:24] The movie stars

[00:11:26] Steve Briers

[00:11:28] Who is a

[00:11:30] Mark Paul Gosselaar

[00:11:34] Not really

[00:11:36] Kind of like knock off

[00:11:38] Yeah 100%

[00:11:40] He's the guy I sent you the video of

[00:11:42] Oh yeah I can see that for sure

[00:11:44] He does some interesting things

[00:11:46] With his face in this movie

[00:11:48] Well we'll get to the face

[00:11:50] And he's done a lot of movies

[00:11:52] He's done a lot of TV movies

[00:11:54] He's a regular

[00:11:56] And Sarah Allen who is

[00:11:58] Your typical Lifetime brunette

[00:12:02] I've never seen her before

[00:12:04] So we start off

[00:12:06] We have

[00:12:08] Okay we have a stepmother

[00:12:10] And her daughter

[00:12:12] The stepmother

[00:12:14] They're like not

[00:12:16] Doing your typical gender things

[00:12:18] They're doing baseball or what's it called

[00:12:20] Catch in the backyard

[00:12:22] They're doing baseball in the backyard

[00:12:24] What I love about this catch game

[00:12:26] Is that it takes place

[00:12:28] They are right next to

[00:12:30] The swimming pool

[00:12:32] And

[00:12:34] There's a whole grassy area behind them

[00:12:36] That they could be playing catch in

[00:12:38] And they choose not to

[00:12:40] The ball doesn't end up in the water

[00:12:42] But it could have and that's why I always say

[00:12:44] Just take the proper

[00:12:46] Precautions up front Dan

[00:12:48] And move to the lawn

[00:12:50] Because then you don't have to worry about fetching

[00:12:52] The ball out of the pool

[00:12:54] That would be my

[00:12:56] That would be like us doing catch

[00:12:58] Right next to your pool when we could just go outside the gate

[00:13:00] And just do it

[00:13:02] In the old lawn there

[00:13:04] But that's just me

[00:13:06] Does a baseball sink

[00:13:08] In the pool

[00:13:10] Yeah it's gotta sink

[00:13:12] A football floats

[00:13:14] Remember

[00:13:16] You know I've never

[00:13:18] I'm very familiar with the pool part

[00:13:20] But not like the sports

[00:13:22] I don't know how that works

[00:13:24] I think a baseball would sink

[00:13:26] A golf ball would sink

[00:13:28] A basketball and football would sink

[00:13:30] I will say

[00:13:32] I did this movie

[00:13:34] Coming out strong with step mom and daughter

[00:13:36] Playing catch

[00:13:38] It was nice

[00:13:40] Where's dad's deadly secret

[00:13:42] So far we're just out there having a good time

[00:13:44] Yes

[00:13:46] And they established

[00:13:48] They're not

[00:13:50] They're not your typical

[00:13:52] Mother daughter

[00:13:54] This step mother is really going above and beyond

[00:13:56] And her name is Caroline

[00:13:58] She's a little blonde lady

[00:14:00] She is

[00:14:02] She's a little blonde baby

[00:14:04] She's coming in

[00:14:06] As that step mom

[00:14:08] She doesn't want to be the evil step mom

[00:14:10] So she's really trying

[00:14:12] And Richard is the husband

[00:14:14] That's our Mark Paul wannabe

[00:14:16] He calls her

[00:14:18] Daddy's second wife

[00:14:20] With his daughter

[00:14:22] That's how they refer to her

[00:14:24] As a loving term

[00:14:26] And the daughter's name is Abigail

[00:14:28] And she's like a treasure

[00:14:30] Everyone loves Abigail

[00:14:32] Her teachers

[00:14:34] All her classmates

[00:14:36] But Abigail is taking a turn

[00:14:38] You know Abigail

[00:14:40] Is hanging out with a new crowd

[00:14:42] So to say

[00:14:44] Yeah she is

[00:14:46] They're older

[00:14:48] Oh boy

[00:14:50] They're older kids

[00:14:52] And they take the public

[00:14:54] Transportation

[00:14:56] The bus

[00:14:58] They take the bus

[00:15:00] So sweet little Abigail

[00:15:02] Is out there hanging out with older kids

[00:15:04] Taking the bus

[00:15:06] Yes

[00:15:08] And the older kids

[00:15:10] Hold on I wrote down their name somewhere

[00:15:12] Oh they call themselves

[00:15:14] The runaway girls

[00:15:16] The runaway girls

[00:15:18] I'm sure it's like nothing

[00:15:20] I'm sure

[00:15:22] That any group of girls that call themselves

[00:15:24] The runaway girls

[00:15:26] Will stay put

[00:15:28] Probably

[00:15:30] Nothing's gonna

[00:15:32] They would never

[00:15:34] The name means nothing

[00:15:36] It's not important

[00:15:38] It's just a funny

[00:15:40] It's like baseball in the backyard

[00:15:42] That's not

[00:15:44] That's not gonna come back

[00:15:46] It definitely won't

[00:15:48] So

[00:15:50] Richard has a sister

[00:15:52] Yes

[00:15:54] The sister is a drug addict

[00:15:56] Deadbeat

[00:15:58] Kind of like estranged

[00:16:00] From the family

[00:16:02] They set this up at the top

[00:16:04] We don't know her name but we learn later

[00:16:06] Her name is Darla

[00:16:08] She's been like missing

[00:16:10] She's a bad person

[00:16:12] Keep that in your back pocket

[00:16:14] Darla is a bad person

[00:16:16] Got it

[00:16:18] So

[00:16:20] Abigail

[00:16:22] Caroline is a psychologist

[00:16:24] She's always trying to help people

[00:16:26] She's always encouraging

[00:16:28] Richard maybe it's time

[00:16:30] For you and Darla to reconnect

[00:16:32] He's like no way

[00:16:34] She's the worst

[00:16:36] Yes

[00:16:38] Okay

[00:16:40] Caroline is sitting down

[00:16:42] To watch her favorite

[00:16:44] 2020 murder show

[00:16:46] They're talking about this guy

[00:16:48] Who killed his girlfriend

[00:16:50] It's very like those Friday evening shows

[00:16:52] What happened

[00:16:54] When

[00:16:56] That guy

[00:16:58] Killed his person

[00:17:00] And no one saw him again

[00:17:02] It's like one of those numbers

[00:17:04] Got it

[00:17:06] She gets a call

[00:17:08] From a client

[00:17:10] One of her clients is having an emergency

[00:17:12] Richard's like don't answer the phone

[00:17:14] They need to learn boundaries

[00:17:16] They call you too much

[00:17:18] That client's name is Beth

[00:17:20] We all know about Beth

[00:17:22] Beth has no boundaries

[00:17:24] No boundaries

[00:17:26] She is calling because she's grieving

[00:17:28] A friendship or something

[00:17:30] This doesn't come back

[00:17:32] But there's a full cabinet

[00:17:34] That has a bunch of stuffed animals

[00:17:36] For some reason

[00:17:38] It does come back

[00:17:40] There's a split second

[00:17:42] Explainer

[00:17:44] Okay

[00:17:46] I might have missed it

[00:17:48] What are these stuffed animals

[00:17:50] At this Beth's house

[00:17:52] Did you notice this Patrick

[00:17:54] While she's on the phone

[00:17:56] She's in her office

[00:17:58] It's night time

[00:18:00] In her office

[00:18:02] There's a flash

[00:18:04] Did you see this Patrick

[00:18:06] It's pretty quick

[00:18:08] There's a flash of light outside

[00:18:10] She goes and peeks her head outside

[00:18:12] She doesn't see anything

[00:18:14] That also will kind of come back

[00:18:16] Okay great

[00:18:18] I'm excited

[00:18:20] Run away girls

[00:18:22] Beth, Abigail's terrible

[00:18:24] I'm already confused

[00:18:26] Well get ready

[00:18:28] Because we have a whole other batch

[00:18:30] We're only on the night

[00:18:32] Of the baseball

[00:18:34] Throwing

[00:18:36] Caroline Richard

[00:18:38] Abigail's Richard's daughter

[00:18:40] Caroline's stepmom

[00:18:42] Caroline's client Beth

[00:18:44] The runaway girls

[00:18:46] Are Abigail's friends from school

[00:18:48] They're the older girls

[00:18:50] Go ahead

[00:18:52] Now

[00:18:54] Richard drops off his daughter

[00:18:56] Because she

[00:18:58] At the mom's house

[00:19:00] The birth mother's house

[00:19:02] It's her day to take the kid or whatever

[00:19:04] He talks outside

[00:19:06] With the husband

[00:19:08] The husband slash stepdad

[00:19:10] His name's Doug

[00:19:12] There's like no ill will

[00:19:14] They seem to be pretty like bro-y

[00:19:16] Hey let's do this business deal together

[00:19:18] Bro

[00:19:20] Yeah bro that sounds great

[00:19:22] I love business

[00:19:24] And I was surprised that they were getting along

[00:19:26] There was no tension

[00:19:28] There was no like I hate you

[00:19:30] But we do see

[00:19:32] That's Doug and Ellie

[00:19:34] I do want Patrick's bro character

[00:19:36] To make it to a movie

[00:19:38] Somewhere

[00:19:40] He's great

[00:19:42] I showed someone my reel

[00:19:44] And they're like so you've got gay characters down

[00:19:46] It's like

[00:19:48] Yeah

[00:19:50] No I want you to play us just a straight bro

[00:19:52] In a movie

[00:19:54] I'm gonna do it

[00:19:56] Business deals

[00:19:58] Can you imagine if there was no more questions

[00:20:00] Character with

[00:20:02] No more questions bro

[00:20:04] You know it would have been a choice

[00:20:06] It would have been a choice

[00:20:08] I think the director would have said

[00:20:10] Can we do another take

[00:20:12] Can we do one more take

[00:20:14] Richard does bring Abigail

[00:20:16] Inside

[00:20:18] Trying to find where Ellie is

[00:20:20] Ellie's in the bathroom

[00:20:22] She's frazzled

[00:20:24] She's taking pills

[00:20:26] Oh no

[00:20:28] And Richard's like

[00:20:30] And she's crying

[00:20:32] And Richard's like you good bro

[00:20:34] And Ellie's like yeah I'm all good

[00:20:36] Everything's fine

[00:20:38] So excited

[00:20:40] I'm so excited I'm so scared

[00:20:42] So yeah he's like alright

[00:20:44] Peace out

[00:20:46] He goes to get in the car

[00:20:48] And Caroline's like how's Ellie seem

[00:20:50] Okay I guess

[00:20:52] And she's like is she still taking her medicine

[00:20:54] And he's like yeah still taking her medicine

[00:20:56] Because he sees the medicine behind her

[00:20:58] And she tries to cover it up

[00:21:00] Like she's ashamed of it

[00:21:02] I don't really know what the deal is there

[00:21:04] But it's clear that Richard

[00:21:06] And Caroline are like

[00:21:08] Concerned about Ellie

[00:21:10] And her health

[00:21:12] And like what her deal is

[00:21:14] But you know

[00:21:16] What can you do

[00:21:18] And one thing about Ellie

[00:21:20] Is that she wears oversized clothes

[00:21:22] The whole movie

[00:21:24] Like very covered up

[00:21:26] Okay

[00:21:28] I didn't notice the oversized clothes

[00:21:30] You're kidding me

[00:21:32] No I'm not kidding you

[00:21:34] I will say I noticed

[00:21:36] That she dug scarves

[00:21:38] Like I noticed that she was a scarf fan

[00:21:40] But I didn't notice

[00:21:42] She literally was wearing like

[00:21:44] A long sleeve dress with like a full

[00:21:46] Like long

[00:21:48] I thought she looked great

[00:21:50] It was excessive

[00:21:52] It's fine it's just

[00:21:54] It is a warning sign of

[00:21:56] Trauma when you're covering your body

[00:21:58] Like that

[00:22:00] I haven't watched enough Lifetime movies to

[00:22:02] I don't really focus

[00:22:04] On the clothes as much

[00:22:06] Aside from

[00:22:08] Caroline's shoes

[00:22:10] Those white shoes that she's rocking were dope

[00:22:12] But I didn't notice

[00:22:14] The oversized clothes

[00:22:16] That's the mandated reporter in me

[00:22:18] I've done a lot of training

[00:22:20] You did a great job on that

[00:22:22] Speaking of good jobs

[00:22:24] Let's do a good job and head to a break

[00:22:26] How about that

[00:22:28] We're 22 minutes in baby

[00:22:30] 99 plus

[00:22:32] What's that

[00:22:42] What's up everybody we're back

[00:22:44] We're talking about Daddy's deadly secrets

[00:22:46] We got two daddies in this movie

[00:22:48] We got two daddies

[00:22:50] So it could be either daddy

[00:22:52] Birth dad's name is

[00:22:54] Richard

[00:22:56] Step dad's name is

[00:22:58] Doug is married to

[00:23:00] Caroline

[00:23:02] Richard's married to Caroline

[00:23:04] And the daughter's name is

[00:23:06] Abigail

[00:23:08] I only sent four texts in that first segment

[00:23:10] Amazing

[00:23:12] Alright so

[00:23:14] After school Abigail

[00:23:16] Does not come home from swim practice

[00:23:18] And we

[00:23:20] We see Caroline

[00:23:22] Is like freaking out

[00:23:24] The couples all come together

[00:23:26] They're like we're gonna call the police

[00:23:28] And that's when

[00:23:30] We learn about the runaway girls

[00:23:32] And how they go to

[00:23:34] A place called the

[00:23:36] Fairgrounds

[00:23:38] I was like what are the fairgrounds

[00:23:40] So Doug comes in

[00:23:42] This is such a great conversation

[00:23:44] Doug comes in

[00:23:46] She's like wasn't at the fairgrounds

[00:23:48] And Richard's like

[00:23:50] Why would she be at the

[00:23:52] Fairgrounds

[00:23:54] And Doug's like alright

[00:23:56] I guess now's the time to tell ya

[00:23:58] She's been hanging out with all the

[00:24:00] Girls and they go and they hang

[00:24:02] Out at the abandoned fairgrounds

[00:24:04] Okay sorry

[00:24:06] We didn't tell you didn't want to worry you

[00:24:08] Like is it Canadian

[00:24:10] For playground

[00:24:12] I grew up in a town

[00:24:14] In Columbia South Carolina

[00:24:16] With the South Carolina State Fair

[00:24:18] And they have the fairgrounds

[00:24:20] And when it is not the week of the fair

[00:24:22] It's just a wide open lot

[00:24:24] Like it's just

[00:24:26] The runaway girls go to hang out

[00:24:28] And occasionally they'll do other things there

[00:24:30] But typically like on a regular

[00:24:32] Like where there's a football game everybody tailgates

[00:24:34] At the fairgrounds

[00:24:36] I guess I'm really southern

[00:24:38] I don't know

[00:24:40] So a few things obviously come out

[00:24:42] Which Richard's shocked by

[00:24:44] Obviously the fairgrounds being one of them

[00:24:46] Also apparently there is

[00:24:48] A scratch

[00:24:50] Like a cut like right here

[00:24:52] On Ellie's arm

[00:24:54] And they're like

[00:24:56] What's going on there and she's like well

[00:24:58] So here's the thing

[00:25:00] Abigail attacked me

[00:25:02] And they're like what do you mean Abigail

[00:25:04] What do you mean Abigail attacked you

[00:25:06] When were you gonna tell us

[00:25:08] She's like I'm telling you now

[00:25:10] And she just got really

[00:25:12] They were talking to her hey maybe don't hang out with the runaway girls

[00:25:14] And

[00:25:16] I do think at this time

[00:25:18] They didn't know that they were called the runaway girls

[00:25:20] Which might be

[00:25:22] They're not like being like

[00:25:24] I can't believe she ran away with the runaway girls

[00:25:26] At the time they didn't know it

[00:25:28] They were just the older girls

[00:25:30] And so we talked to her and she got mad

[00:25:32] And she grabbed my arm

[00:25:34] And they're like that's super weird that she would do that

[00:25:36] And they're like yeah it was crazy

[00:25:40] Yes

[00:25:42] So they kind of like established

[00:25:44] Like you know she's for sure missing

[00:25:46] They split up like the moms go

[00:25:48] Talk to the police

[00:25:50] We meet the police detective

[00:25:52] Who I don't have a name for but they love

[00:25:54] Carrying a coffee mug

[00:25:56] They love having a coffee mug

[00:25:58] Parker

[00:26:00] Is

[00:26:02] The best character in this movie

[00:26:04] What

[00:26:06] Parker if you're listening to this

[00:26:08] Parker is freaking hilarious

[00:26:10] Parker is a riot

[00:26:12] Parker is nuts

[00:26:14] You never know what Parker is going to say

[00:26:16] You never know how Parker is going to say it

[00:26:18] I wish I brought a clip of Parker

[00:26:20] Because Parker is nuts in this movie

[00:26:22] Parker is not afraid to

[00:26:24] Scream at the parents and tell them

[00:26:26] That they are wrong

[00:26:28] Parker is not afraid to ask for

[00:26:30] A refill of coffee

[00:26:32] And Parker is

[00:26:34] One of the worst cops I've ever seen

[00:26:36] One of the worst cops I've ever seen

[00:26:38] On screen

[00:26:40] Doing cop stuff

[00:26:42] We've seen a lot of bad ones

[00:26:44] Right like a miner's missing

[00:26:46] Meh they'll turn up

[00:26:48] They'll turn up

[00:26:50] Oh like just

[00:26:52] Have you been over 48 hours? They're dead

[00:26:54] I'd love to have like a Parker

[00:26:56] Sin

[00:26:58] Chart where we just count the sins

[00:27:00] Of this cop because they're numerous

[00:27:02] They're numerous and plenty

[00:27:04] Right

[00:27:06] The teacher

[00:27:08] The school teacher

[00:27:10] Is a little bit more helpful

[00:27:12] She pulls out a bunch of

[00:27:14] Drawings that Abigail

[00:27:16] Has done

[00:27:18] Abigail is an artiste if you will

[00:27:20] And we see

[00:27:22] A picture of an old convent

[00:27:24] That the runaway girls

[00:27:26] Hang out at so the parents

[00:27:28] All go to this old convent

[00:27:30] That's abandoned

[00:27:32] And an abandoned convent in the same town

[00:27:34] Yeah

[00:27:36] What a town

[00:27:38] Look at this picture

[00:27:40] Is anything not abandoned

[00:27:42] Look at this girl's drawing

[00:27:44] It is a great drawing

[00:27:46] It is clear

[00:27:48] They run up to

[00:27:50] The convent they see a girl with a

[00:27:52] Backpack that's similar to Abigail

[00:27:54] But it's not it's the runaway girls

[00:27:56] And all the runaway girls are like we don't know

[00:27:58] What happened to Abigail

[00:28:00] She didn't run away with us

[00:28:02] But they

[00:28:04] Interview the detective interviews all the girls

[00:28:06] And the detective also interviews

[00:28:08] A woman

[00:28:10] Named Marianne who is the

[00:28:12] Crossing guard at the school

[00:28:14] Can I just really quickly

[00:28:16] Marianne is a crossing

[00:28:18] Guard and Abigail

[00:28:20] First meets

[00:28:22] Marianne after

[00:28:24] One of her sessions

[00:28:26] At Beth's house

[00:28:28] So she goes to Beth's house

[00:28:30] For sessions

[00:28:32] Instead of because Beth is afraid to leave her house

[00:28:34] Apparently okay so she goes to Beth's house

[00:28:36] She leaves and Beth's house

[00:28:38] I guess is close enough to the school

[00:28:40] Because the crossing guard Marianne is there

[00:28:42] And Marianne is like hey wanted to introduce

[00:28:44] Myself I'm Marianne I'm the crossing guard

[00:28:46] You've got one amazing daughter

[00:28:48] All this good stuff

[00:28:50] Can I ask this

[00:28:52] How far into this movie are we

[00:28:54] Because I feel like I've been introduced to a lot of people

[00:28:56] I think we're like 20 could be 40

[00:28:58] But I know two things haven't happened yet

[00:29:00] One I don't feel like we've had a murder

[00:29:02] Or any sort of

[00:29:04] Big thing aside from Abigail's

[00:29:06] Missing

[00:29:08] And second of all we definitely not had a

[00:29:10] Daddy's deadly secret

[00:29:12] Have we not

[00:29:14] No daddy's deadly secret

[00:29:16] It's coming

[00:29:18] Okay sorry go ahead

[00:29:20] So anyway

[00:29:22] Marianne who is now

[00:29:24] Obviously aware that Abigail's

[00:29:26] Missing

[00:29:28] And she

[00:29:30] Tells Caroline I actually

[00:29:32] Know what you're going through

[00:29:34] My daughter went missing one time too

[00:29:36] Cool

[00:29:38] Like so she's like I really get it

[00:29:40] Like people say they get it but I actually get it

[00:29:42] You know

[00:29:44] I get it

[00:29:46] I get it

[00:29:48] I lost a daughter 10 years ago

[00:29:50] So I understand

[00:29:52] A little too much

[00:29:54] Beth surprisingly

[00:29:56] Leaves the house

[00:29:58] Surprisingly leaves the house

[00:30:00] We are

[00:30:02] She's chasing Caroline around

[00:30:04] The police station

[00:30:06] So just really quickly just to give a little bit more

[00:30:08] I'm sorry I'm sorry

[00:30:10] So Caroline's at the police station

[00:30:12] Talking to Parker about who freaking knows what

[00:30:14] Parker's just asking dumb questions

[00:30:16] And

[00:30:18] At the police station

[00:30:20] The CCTV

[00:30:22] Footage is just

[00:30:24] Plastered anywhere anybody

[00:30:26] Who wants to look at what's going around the police

[00:30:28] Station you can look at it

[00:30:30] And so Caroline's

[00:30:32] Looking and she sees

[00:30:34] On one of the cameras she sees

[00:30:36] Beth and she sees

[00:30:38] That Beth is arguing with

[00:30:40] Somebody and so

[00:30:42] She goes to find Beth

[00:30:44] And is like oh my gosh Beth that's you

[00:30:46] At this point

[00:30:48] Richard

[00:30:50] Doug and Ellie are also there

[00:30:52] Three amigos

[00:30:54] And so they

[00:30:56] She's like Beth what are you doing

[00:30:58] And Beth is like

[00:31:00] I know who you are

[00:31:02] Points in the direction

[00:31:04] To Richard

[00:31:06] She points in the direction of Richard

[00:31:08] Says I know who you are

[00:31:10] And she has this envelope in her hand

[00:31:12] And then they

[00:31:14] And Richard is like

[00:31:16] And it's at this

[00:31:18] Point that we realize that

[00:31:20] Beth is Richard's

[00:31:22] A strange sister

[00:31:24] Darla

[00:31:28] And she says I know who you really are

[00:31:30] Her brother

[00:31:32] But like what does she mean by that

[00:31:34] Oh my gosh

[00:31:36] Alright

[00:31:38] She has a box cutter

[00:31:40] So she's being threatening

[00:31:42] And you know

[00:31:44] She gets basically dragged away by the police

[00:31:46] I believe

[00:31:48] And they're like oh my gosh we can't believe Darla

[00:31:50] Has found us and lied to you

[00:31:52] And all this stuff

[00:31:54] She's crazy

[00:31:56] So they're like

[00:31:58] Whatever but I guess

[00:32:00] Caroline takes the envelope

[00:32:02] Is that right?

[00:32:04] No

[00:32:06] Okay great

[00:32:08] So the envelope

[00:32:10] She does not get arrested

[00:32:12] At this point in time

[00:32:14] But they do

[00:32:16] End up finding her dead

[00:32:18] In her house

[00:32:20] She's dead

[00:32:22] Darla dies

[00:32:24] Beth Darla dies

[00:32:26] Did you miss that Beth Darla died

[00:32:28] I totally missed that

[00:32:30] So Beth Darla

[00:32:32] Beth Darla dies

[00:32:34] Is it Paul who's the cop

[00:32:36] Yeah

[00:32:38] Exactly

[00:32:40] We'll get back to the envelope

[00:32:42] In a little bit

[00:32:44] She takes the envelope with her

[00:32:46] And she ends up dead

[00:32:48] Too much movie for 83 minutes

[00:32:50] Yeah man

[00:32:52] I've been missing people dying in movies lately

[00:32:54] Because they just kind of like die

[00:32:56] Can I tell you why you missed it

[00:32:58] It's because they announced that she's dead

[00:33:00] Immediately after commercial break

[00:33:02] They come back from commercial break

[00:33:04] And if you skipped

[00:33:06] The first five seconds of this commercial break

[00:33:08] Which I did and had to go back

[00:33:10] I was like wait who freaking died

[00:33:12] Then good luck

[00:33:14] You missed it

[00:33:16] So they come back

[00:33:18] And they're outside Darla's house

[00:33:20] And Darla's dead

[00:33:22] And if for some reason you maybe fast forwarded

[00:33:24] A little too far you missed it

[00:33:26] Darla's dead so I think that's what happened

[00:33:28] Yeah

[00:33:30] So Caroline and Richard

[00:33:32] Are also trying to have a baby of their own

[00:33:34] They get a call

[00:33:36] From

[00:33:38] They can't have kids

[00:33:40] From the fertility doctor

[00:33:42] The doctor

[00:33:44] Is like okay I got all the tests back

[00:33:46] And I have some news for you

[00:33:48] You're fine

[00:33:50] It's your husband who is unable to have kids

[00:33:52] Because of his

[00:33:54] History of opioid abuse

[00:33:56] Oh boy

[00:33:58] He was in rehab

[00:34:00] For like drug addiction

[00:34:02] He gives her

[00:34:04] So much information

[00:34:06] Which like I know that

[00:34:08] Caroline is Richard's wife

[00:34:10] But like man

[00:34:12] Like you can't tell her

[00:34:14] All of this information right

[00:34:16] The doctor can't do that unless you give him permission

[00:34:18] Yeah she's like

[00:34:20] Richard's not here right now but like

[00:34:22] You can tell me and he's like well you are the wife

[00:34:24] So here comes everything

[00:34:26] Here we go

[00:34:28] One your husband is the reason why you can't have kids

[00:34:30] And she's like what are you talking about

[00:34:32] He has a kid

[00:34:34] And he's like I don't know to tell you

[00:34:36] Miracles can happen I guess

[00:34:38] So since that kid he's been on opioids

[00:34:40] Since then

[00:34:42] Well no prior

[00:34:44] Because he says I actually have

[00:34:46] In the folder for reasons

[00:34:48] I don't know how he has his data

[00:34:50] But he spent time in the early 2000s

[00:34:52] At a rehab facility

[00:34:54] For opioid abuse

[00:34:56] But he could have a kid afterwards

[00:34:58] So why can't he have a kid now

[00:35:00] His

[00:35:02] Juice is loose

[00:35:04] He doesn't have enough

[00:35:06] Like his counts too low

[00:35:08] Counts low

[00:35:10] The question now obviously is

[00:35:12] How does he have a kid

[00:35:14] That's the question

[00:35:16] Exactly

[00:35:18] Caroline talks to Richard

[00:35:20] Caroline talks to Richard

[00:35:22] He's like the early 2000s were a time

[00:35:24] Sorry I didn't tell you about that

[00:35:26] Telling me

[00:35:28] You know

[00:35:30] But that's also when he's like

[00:35:32] I got the help that I needed

[00:35:34] My sister didn't get the help

[00:35:36] And like she

[00:35:38] Like I couldn't help her anymore

[00:35:40] And that's ultimately why I had to

[00:35:42] Cut her off but like

[00:35:44] One I'm not that person anymore

[00:35:46] But then Parker comes in

[00:35:48] And goes freaking nuts

[00:35:50] On these two

[00:35:52] And is like how do you explain this

[00:35:54] And whips the computer around

[00:35:56] And goes Abigail

[00:35:58] Doesn't exist

[00:36:00] There's no social security

[00:36:02] Number for Abigail

[00:36:04] She's not a real person

[00:36:06] We have 100% seen Abigail

[00:36:08] But when she's trying to put

[00:36:10] In the missing person

[00:36:12] I'm trying to like

[00:36:14] Put in the missing person

[00:36:16] I'm putting in the missing

[00:36:18] Person info and like

[00:36:20] She's not a real person

[00:36:22] So I can't like somebody's lying

[00:36:24] I don't know what you're talking about

[00:36:26] She is my daughter

[00:36:28] And so this is another

[00:36:30] Fantastic Parker moment

[00:36:32] Because Caroline's like

[00:36:34] Parker can you give us a moment

[00:36:36] And Parker leaves the room

[00:36:38] Which is just great

[00:36:40] And she's like okay

[00:36:42] Explain what happened

[00:36:44] He explains I'm not that person anymore

[00:36:46] Like I'm on the up and up

[00:36:48] And also Abigail 100% is my daughter

[00:36:50] And Caroline believes her husband

[00:36:52] Helps him flee

[00:36:54] Like they just leave

[00:36:56] I don't know like she's like

[00:36:58] Basically tells him to hang tight

[00:37:00] And they do not hang tight

[00:37:02] And Parker comes out and is like son of a gun

[00:37:04] Parker's so mad like can't believe

[00:37:06] That they would leave

[00:37:08] It's great it's a great moment

[00:37:10] And obviously they have

[00:37:12] Like where would you go first when you find out

[00:37:14] That the daughter that you have

[00:37:16] Apparently isn't a real person

[00:37:18] Right CBS

[00:37:20] Interesting yes

[00:37:22] Or you go to the moms

[00:37:24] House you go hey let's go talk

[00:37:26] To Ellie and Doug which is what they do

[00:37:28] Yes they do

[00:37:30] And Ellie just literally

[00:37:32] Runs away she just runs

[00:37:34] Through the yard

[00:37:36] She's like trying to climb over the gate

[00:37:38] I guess she tried to

[00:37:40] Climb the gate. What?

[00:37:42] They see her and Caroline and Richard show up

[00:37:44] And her response is to run

[00:37:46] They go hey we gotta talk about

[00:37:48] Abigail because apparently she doesn't exist

[00:37:50] And she runs away and she just kind of runs

[00:37:52] Into a gate and she's like damn it

[00:37:54] How have they gotten this far along

[00:37:56] In Abigail's life without her

[00:37:58] Having a social security number

[00:38:00] It's really kind of like hard to say

[00:38:02] Good cool

[00:38:04] I mean I think

[00:38:06] You don't need that when you're

[00:38:08] A kid

[00:38:10] Yes you do

[00:38:12] Do they look it up

[00:38:14] Do they look it up

[00:38:16] I mean she's got one on record somewhere

[00:38:18] This girl is

[00:38:20] Definitely real she's a real person

[00:38:22] Okay okay true

[00:38:24] Keep going

[00:38:26] This is when we get the explanation go ahead

[00:38:28] Ellie admits that

[00:38:30] Her life spun out of

[00:38:32] Control as many

[00:38:34] People did in the early 2000s

[00:38:36] It was a tough time

[00:38:38] Y2K

[00:38:40] Fergie was doing solo music

[00:38:42] What was going on

[00:38:44] Terrible terrible no we didn't ask for that

[00:38:46] So

[00:38:48] Hey mama

[00:38:50] Yes yes

[00:38:52] She'd be up in the gym working on her fitness

[00:38:54] She's not doing any squat jacks after

[00:38:56] Two minutes of stretching though I can tell you that right now

[00:38:58] Definitely not

[00:39:00] So Ellie

[00:39:02] Is lied

[00:39:04] About being pregnant to

[00:39:06] Stop the divorce from happening

[00:39:08] Richard was gonna leave

[00:39:10] Ellie okay

[00:39:12] And so she says I'm pregnant

[00:39:14] Hoping that he would stay

[00:39:16] He did not

[00:39:18] He didn't stay

[00:39:20] He said we're still getting a divorce

[00:39:22] He's like we'll co-parent and it'll be great

[00:39:24] And whatever

[00:39:26] So she's like well shoot I'm not pregnant

[00:39:28] What am I gonna do

[00:39:30] Well her neighbor

[00:39:32] Right now I'm sorry I tried to get you to stay I'm lying

[00:39:34] Nope she pulls on

[00:39:36] Doubles down she doubles down

[00:39:38] Her neighbor is a single dad who

[00:39:40] Turns out to be Doug the child is Doug

[00:39:42] He had a little baby

[00:39:44] Doug had a baby that he

[00:39:46] Was parenting on his own

[00:39:48] So they decide

[00:39:50] He's like okay great

[00:39:52] We can say that this baby

[00:39:54] Is your baby and then we can make him

[00:39:56] Pay child support

[00:39:58] So we can get some lula

[00:40:00] Is that daddy's deadly secret

[00:40:02] That's one of them

[00:40:04] We think it

[00:40:06] So she puts a pillow in her

[00:40:08] Belly and walks around

[00:40:10] And does the whole thing

[00:40:12] No one knew

[00:40:14] She goes on full taking lives

[00:40:16] Is what she does

[00:40:18] We don't unfortunately get a montage

[00:40:20] I would love that

[00:40:22] The one thing that I would have liked

[00:40:24] Some sort of explanation for

[00:40:26] Is like Richard

[00:40:28] Never tried to see his baby

[00:40:30] In the hospital

[00:40:32] How did the birth part

[00:40:34] Of this go was she like I'm so mad

[00:40:36] At you like you're not allowed

[00:40:38] In the hospital for birth but then

[00:40:40] Like we can co-parent

[00:40:42] That's totally cool that part is

[00:40:44] Foggy but obviously

[00:40:46] They convinced Richard

[00:40:48] That this is their baby

[00:40:50] And literally just for child support

[00:40:52] Buddy right

[00:40:54] Don't ask too many questions it was

[00:40:56] Like maybe they had it in a taxi

[00:40:58] Like we don't know so

[00:41:00] Caroline is

[00:41:02] Starting to like okay things are really

[00:41:04] She's like start looking around

[00:41:06] Things and she finds

[00:41:08] Some paperwork I don't know

[00:41:10] Now that now that I know that Darla is dead

[00:41:12] Was this at Darla's house where she finds all

[00:41:14] This paperwork yes all right great

[00:41:16] Okay so she thought it was Abigail

[00:41:18] I thought it was Abigail

[00:41:20] Why is this child have all this

[00:41:22] File so

[00:41:24] Caroline obviously

[00:41:26] Wants to find out what's really going

[00:41:28] On why was Beth

[00:41:30] Who's actually Darla

[00:41:32] Clearly she knew that I

[00:41:34] Was the wife to

[00:41:36] Richard like what why was she doing

[00:41:38] All this so she breaks into

[00:41:40] A active crime

[00:41:42] Scene and begins to

[00:41:44] She goes straight

[00:41:46] To the cabinets

[00:41:48] That she saw all of the stuffed animals

[00:41:50] And are you following

[00:41:52] It yeah and somehow

[00:41:54] That leads her to knowing exactly

[00:41:56] Where to find this folder which

[00:41:58] Is you kind of knock twice

[00:42:00] And the thing falls down and then

[00:42:02] There's a three times it's a crystal

[00:42:04] Crystal dance yeah and it's a folder

[00:42:06] And inside of this folder is a

[00:42:08] Ton of information including

[00:42:10] The picture

[00:42:12] Of her at nighttime through

[00:42:14] The window remember the flash of light

[00:42:16] So I guess that was her but also

[00:42:18] Just a bunch of information

[00:42:20] Like it says like she's with

[00:42:22] A happy family

[00:42:24] Now and all of this stuff that's

[00:42:26] It seems like she was putting together some sort of

[00:42:28] Case about Abigail

[00:42:30] And and maybe she wanted to get

[00:42:32] To know Abigail which is why she had

[00:42:34] Like there's lots of like loose ends here but

[00:42:36] It's clear she was building some sort of case

[00:42:38] Okay to

[00:42:40] Show that Abigail was with a

[00:42:42] Loving family

[00:42:44] Got it yes

[00:42:46] She might be so

[00:42:48] Well

[00:42:50] Wait for it because that is

[00:42:52] Deadly Caroline finds

[00:42:54] Address or something for some reason

[00:42:56] She goes to

[00:42:58] I think the on the

[00:43:00] Outside she was going to mail the envelope I believe

[00:43:02] I believe it had the address on it or there was

[00:43:04] An address in it where that address

[00:43:06] Leave let's find out after this break here on deck

[00:43:08] The Hallmark see what I did

[00:43:10] It's a tease

[00:43:12] It's a teaser

[00:43:18] Welcome back

[00:43:20] Okay we are back

[00:43:22] So Caroline goes to this house

[00:43:24] The house is like you know

[00:43:26] Obviously

[00:43:28] No one's there she's like hello

[00:43:30] Hello

[00:43:32] And she hears some like banging

[00:43:34] And oh actually sorry

[00:43:36] No somebody is there

[00:43:38] She knocks on the door

[00:43:40] And who opens the door

[00:43:42] It's one of the

[00:43:44] They have a job

[00:43:46] No it's not Parker

[00:43:48] No it's not the runaway girls

[00:43:50] One more try

[00:43:52] Richard

[00:43:54] Crossing

[00:43:56] And so Marianne's like

[00:43:58] What are you doing here and she's like

[00:44:00] I just want I

[00:44:02] Don't come out here often

[00:44:04] It's not a good

[00:44:06] Excuse

[00:44:08] And then there's

[00:44:10] A knocking sound or some type of sound

[00:44:12] And Marianne's

[00:44:14] Like it's the pipes it's the pipes don't worry

[00:44:16] And Caroline's like I'm just going to go check

[00:44:18] I'm just going to go check pussies past her

[00:44:20] Goes to check opens the door

[00:44:22] And she's in the room and Abigail is like

[00:44:24] Like lying on a little bed

[00:44:26] Like a little angel just like chilling

[00:44:28] It doesn't explain why the pipes were making

[00:44:30] Sounds but

[00:44:32] Abigail is alive

[00:44:34] She's well was she not banging around

[00:44:36] She was not banging on the pipes

[00:44:38] She was super chill

[00:44:40] I think she's asleep

[00:44:42] And it's at this point that Caroline

[00:44:44] Begins to stumble around

[00:44:46] And it's clear that she's been drugged

[00:44:48] Caroline's been drugged by

[00:44:50] Marianne

[00:44:52] They had

[00:44:54] Tea or something

[00:44:56] So then

[00:45:00] I guess there's a part where

[00:45:02] Where Marianne literally

[00:45:04] Like punches Caroline in the face

[00:45:06] Which doesn't really happen in a lot of

[00:45:08] Lifetime movies so

[00:45:10] She's trying to escape right

[00:45:12] So she wakes up and she's in this

[00:45:14] Chair

[00:45:16] And she starts like she's in a room

[00:45:18] And she's banging on the door and Abigail

[00:45:20] Comes to the door and it's like

[00:45:22] Who is it?

[00:45:24] It's me it's Caroline

[00:45:26] She's like son of a gun that's crazy

[00:45:28] And oh gosh man I meant to pull

[00:45:30] This audio because it's hilarious

[00:45:32] But Abigail

[00:45:34] I'm sorry Caroline and Abigail are talking

[00:45:36] Through the door

[00:45:38] And she can't figure out how to

[00:45:40] Open the door okay

[00:45:42] She's like it's locked I don't know what to do

[00:45:44] And Caroline's like oh shucks

[00:45:46] And Abigail's like I got an idea what if

[00:45:48] You pull while I push

[00:45:50] And then the door

[00:45:52] Will open and Caroline goes

[00:45:54] Abigail how'd you get so

[00:45:56] Smart what

[00:45:58] And then they do that except

[00:46:00] I think the reverse of it

[00:46:02] Caroline pushes

[00:46:04] While Abigail pulls whatever

[00:46:06] They say it doesn't it's not what

[00:46:08] Ends up happening but the door does open

[00:46:10] But unfortunately

[00:46:12] Marianne's there again

[00:46:14] That's when they get in a little bit of a fight

[00:46:16] Situation oh that's when the

[00:46:18] Punch happens and then

[00:46:20] Caroline wakes up

[00:46:22] In a chair again but this time she's duct taped

[00:46:24] To the chair and she ain't going

[00:46:26] She ain't going anywhere

[00:46:28] You might be wondering

[00:46:30] How's she gonna

[00:46:32] Get saved how is it

[00:46:34] Gonna happen what are we gonna do

[00:46:36] So at this point in time

[00:46:40] Richard yeah Doug

[00:46:42] Elle and Parker

[00:46:44] Are all together yeah

[00:46:46] And

[00:46:48] Parker

[00:46:50] Puts a thumb drive

[00:46:52] In a computer

[00:46:54] And she's gonna pull all of

[00:46:56] Like Caroline's

[00:46:58] Data or something I don't know

[00:47:00] But the thumb drive is connected to her

[00:47:02] Keys more on that in a second

[00:47:04] And

[00:47:06] Abigail

[00:47:08] Gets out of the house and runs to

[00:47:10] A horse

[00:47:12] Area a horse

[00:47:14] She runs to the stables

[00:47:16] For house and there's stables

[00:47:18] And I don't know there's a woman

[00:47:20] In the stables too?

[00:47:22] No Mr. Ed is not there there is a woman there

[00:47:24] We don't get any explanation who this

[00:47:26] Woman is but there is luckily for her

[00:47:28] A phone and so she calls

[00:47:30] Richard and

[00:47:32] It's a cell phone

[00:47:34] Parker says great we can trace it

[00:47:36] We'll just

[00:47:38] Keep them on the line

[00:47:40] And so she's talking they find out where

[00:47:42] They are they find out

[00:47:44] Where they is

[00:47:46] Parker's like

[00:47:48] Great I know exactly where they are

[00:47:50] Here's the address I'm gonna say it out loud

[00:47:52] And Richard's like

[00:47:54] Great I'm gonna go with you Parker's like absolutely

[00:47:56] Not and so what Richard does

[00:47:58] Here is so great Richard

[00:48:00] Grabs Parker's keys

[00:48:02] Because they're connected to the thumb drive

[00:48:04] And runs off and gets in the car

[00:48:06] And drives off to the police car

[00:48:08] So no his car but he has her

[00:48:10] Keys so Parker the police officer

[00:48:12] Doesn't have keys

[00:48:14] Which is hilarious and she's like

[00:48:16] Dadgum it so they arrive

[00:48:18] Obviously

[00:48:20] At the place they see

[00:48:22] Marianne they see Caroline

[00:48:24] And they're able

[00:48:26] They

[00:48:28] Get them good

[00:48:30] They reunite

[00:48:32] They're very happy

[00:48:34] And so they get on the bus

[00:48:36] Then Caroline

[00:48:38] Kind of explains

[00:48:40] Sorry Marianne

[00:48:42] Explains that

[00:48:44] She is Abigail's

[00:48:46] Mom real mom

[00:48:48] And that when after she

[00:48:50] Had Abigail

[00:48:52] Doug who was abusive

[00:48:54] Who abused me

[00:48:56] Took the baby

[00:48:58] And I didn't know

[00:49:00] I didn't know who I didn't know where

[00:49:02] I was contacted

[00:49:04] By

[00:49:06] By

[00:49:08] Darla

[00:49:10] Darla had wanted to get in

[00:49:12] Contact with

[00:49:14] Richard

[00:49:16] Wasn't able to and

[00:49:18] Somehow found out that there was

[00:49:20] How did they find out the baby

[00:49:22] How did she track down Marianne

[00:49:24] Do you remember

[00:49:26] Nope

[00:49:28] So like she tracked down

[00:49:30] Marianne

[00:49:32] And was basically like hey

[00:49:34] We should

[00:49:36] Get the baby

[00:49:38] Try to get you back in contact with your daughter

[00:49:40] And that's why she was doing all that

[00:49:42] Reconnaissance

[00:49:44] But then she realized

[00:49:46] It doesn't really matter

[00:49:48] It doesn't really matter aside from

[00:49:50] The fact that inside

[00:49:52] Of the folder

[00:49:54] Was

[00:49:56] The news story of

[00:49:58] Of the

[00:50:00] Murder from the beginning if you remember

[00:50:02] The murder show that she was watching

[00:50:04] Yes and

[00:50:06] She said

[00:50:08] That

[00:50:10] Darla had figured out a way

[00:50:12] For all of us to be

[00:50:14] Involved in the life of the baby that we

[00:50:16] Didn't need to kidnap Abigail

[00:50:18] But I didn't have time for that

[00:50:20] And so Darla had figured something out

[00:50:22] But Marianne

[00:50:24] Didn't want to hear it okay

[00:50:26] Alright I guess

[00:50:28] So the crew runs in

[00:50:30] And they

[00:50:32] Marianne gets arrested

[00:50:34] And everybody goes back

[00:50:36] To normal

[00:50:38] No

[00:50:40] Go ahead

[00:50:44] So right okay

[00:50:46] Basically what was happening was

[00:50:48] Marianne and Caroline are having a conversation

[00:50:50] The other people are outside

[00:50:52] They're like we found Abigail hooray

[00:50:54] Where's Caroline they all go inside

[00:50:56] Caroline and Marianne are

[00:50:58] Fighting it out and

[00:51:00] Doug

[00:51:02] Gets a

[00:51:04] Like a knife

[00:51:06] For Marianne she has like a kitchen knife

[00:51:08] Of course and he starts

[00:51:10] Going crazy

[00:51:12] You're mixing up two different scenes

[00:51:14] So Marianne

[00:51:16] Yes

[00:51:18] Marianne gets arrested okay

[00:51:20] They all go back

[00:51:22] To Richard's house

[00:51:24] It's Richard it's Caroline

[00:51:26] It's Ellie and it's Doug

[00:51:28] Okay

[00:51:30] And it's at this point that Caroline

[00:51:32] Goes up to Abigail's room and it's like

[00:51:34] I'm so happy you're home

[00:51:36] And is giving her a hug

[00:51:38] And Abigail is like

[00:51:40] I feel I felt really bad

[00:51:42] And she basically

[00:51:44] Explains that she went to Marianne

[00:51:46] Willingly because she felt so bad

[00:51:48] Like Marianne was really nice to her

[00:51:50] And she felt really bad about lashing out

[00:51:52] At Ellie okay and she explains

[00:51:54] That Doug

[00:51:56] Reminded me that just because he hits

[00:51:58] Mommy doesn't make it okay for me to hit mommy

[00:52:00] And like all this stuff

[00:52:02] And it's at this point that

[00:52:04] Caroline is like oh my gosh

[00:52:06] Marianne maybe wasn't insane

[00:52:08] And so she pulls Ellie

[00:52:10] Into the bathroom and it's like hey

[00:52:12] I need you to

[00:52:14] Explain to me

[00:52:16] Is are you being abused and she begins

[00:52:18] To sob and she is like okay

[00:52:20] I think I have

[00:52:22] Figured this whole thing out

[00:52:24] I think what Darla

[00:52:26] Was trying to tell us

[00:52:28] In this thing is that the killer

[00:52:30] Is Doug

[00:52:32] That Doug killed

[00:52:34] The woman before you

[00:52:36] Found you and now is being

[00:52:38] Abusive again

[00:52:40] So they go out to confront

[00:52:42] Him and they see Richard is

[00:52:44] On the ground and Doug

[00:52:46] I guess figured out when she

[00:52:48] Called Ellie into the bathroom okay they're in

[00:52:50] Cahoots they're gonna try to get me that's when

[00:52:52] He grabs a knife and it's

[00:52:54] There you go there's an amazing

[00:52:56] Moment where Caroline tells

[00:52:58] Ellie to run and Ellie instead

[00:53:00] Of running any other direction runs

[00:53:02] Straight to Doug

[00:53:04] Doug throws her on the ground and

[00:53:06] Caroline begins to be like

[00:53:08] I know what happened you killed

[00:53:10] Somebody and he basically admits to everything he's

[00:53:12] Like yeah I killed her but it wasn't my fault

[00:53:14] Like she pushed me and I accidentally

[00:53:16] Pushed her and she died and any time

[00:53:18] I abuse a woman it's not my fault

[00:53:20] I'm not a murderer I'm not an abuser

[00:53:22] I just have a temper problem blah blah blah

[00:53:24] And he

[00:53:26] Grabs her Richard finally

[00:53:28] Comes to

[00:53:30] And tries to get him and he

[00:53:32] Puts the knife

[00:53:34] To Richard's head is about to

[00:53:36] Stab him when Caroline

[00:53:38] Smashes a vase over Doug's

[00:53:40] Head sending him to the grounds

[00:53:42] And he ends up getting

[00:53:44] Arrested by Parker yes

[00:53:46] Daddy's deadly secret yes wow

[00:53:48] Does that all sound right

[00:53:50] There we go we got there

[00:53:52] I mean there was

[00:53:54] Many false endings to this movie

[00:53:56] Where I was like okay we're done with the movie

[00:53:58] That's technically

[00:54:00] Daddy's deadly secret

[00:54:02] Daddy's deadly secret is

[00:54:04] That he actually did kill somebody he did

[00:54:06] Yeah yeah yeah he did

[00:54:08] So the title was correct

[00:54:10] That is pretty much the movie

[00:54:12] They like people go to jail

[00:54:14] Ali gets community service

[00:54:16] Like you know we're all good we're all good

[00:54:18] Ali gets community service

[00:54:20] For

[00:54:24] Lying like the fact

[00:54:26] That she lied about having a daughter

[00:54:28] Kidding like yeah all that stuff

[00:54:30] Mary Ann

[00:54:32] Is like still in jail and I'm like

[00:54:34] For friggin what like she took

[00:54:36] Her daughter back big whoop like she

[00:54:38] Shouldn't be in jail but whatever

[00:54:40] But they from best

[00:54:42] Best I can figure Abigail is

[00:54:44] Now living with Richard and Caroline

[00:54:46] Full time and Richard and Caroline

[00:54:48] Also adopt a new

[00:54:50] Daughter as well since Richard can't have

[00:54:52] Kids because of opioids

[00:54:54] Right that whole thing

[00:54:56] Of course yeah because it's not his

[00:54:58] Juice is loose yes how could I forget

[00:55:00] Okay that's the movie

[00:55:02] So now it's time for it pour it up or put it

[00:55:04] Gorgon it we'll start with Dan

[00:55:06] I have an idea of where you're going but tell me

[00:55:08] What you think put a cork in it I

[00:55:10] Get that a lot

[00:55:12] Happened and for that

[00:55:14] Reason it is probably better

[00:55:16] Than your average lifetime fair

[00:55:18] But with plot holes this big

[00:55:20] I just can't possibly

[00:55:22] Like last week's was just

[00:55:24] Last time we did this was just very exciting like I

[00:55:26] Was actually first time I went to watch one of these in a while

[00:55:28] This is not that this

[00:55:30] Is not mommy meanest I am

[00:55:32] Fine having heard

[00:55:34] The two of you together

[00:55:36] Try to explain this

[00:55:38] And still try as though

[00:55:40] I'm a little wonky on the details

[00:55:42] I'm out hard out for me

[00:55:44] No thanks put a cork in it

[00:55:46] Okay brand

[00:55:48] What do you think I

[00:55:50] Appreciate

[00:55:52] What they're trying to do here I

[00:55:54] Appreciate that everything that they

[00:55:56] Introduced

[00:55:58] Mattered they just

[00:56:00] Introduced

[00:56:02] So much yeah

[00:56:04] And you really

[00:56:06] You really had to

[00:56:08] Really pay attention to all the moving parts

[00:56:10] And

[00:56:12] I think it was just one too many

[00:56:14] Things like there's just one too

[00:56:16] Many things I think you could

[00:56:18] Have done this a little bit simpler

[00:56:20] It said it was based on a true story

[00:56:22] I try to find out what that true story

[00:56:24] Was I couldn't I couldn't find it but

[00:56:26] Oh gosh yeah

[00:56:28] I think I'm going to put a cork in it

[00:56:30] So I do

[00:56:32] Appreciate it

[00:56:34] Okay very fair yeah I agree

[00:56:36] That it was like well many

[00:56:38] Too many we love a twist but this was like

[00:56:40] Twist twist twist

[00:56:42] Too many twists if

[00:56:44] The if the first twist is coming in like

[00:56:46] The first like 30 minutes

[00:56:48] Yeah wait what

[00:56:50] This isn't supposed to come to later

[00:56:52] It's a real Argyle situation

[00:56:54] Yes and then

[00:56:56] You know we need to

[00:56:58] Talk about about the

[00:57:00] The

[00:57:02] Steve Byers face of it all

[00:57:04] His face

[00:57:06] Because this is only fair

[00:57:08] This is only fair I do this

[00:57:10] I talked about Lisa Brenna's fish lips

[00:57:12] Last time and this man

[00:57:14] Also has some

[00:57:16] Plastic surgery going on to keep his face

[00:57:18] Looking fresh and it's looking

[00:57:20] It's looking scary

[00:57:22] It's looking

[00:57:24] It's not looking like a human

[00:57:26] Face at this point you know

[00:57:28] So for those reasons

[00:57:30] I got to put a cork in it

[00:57:32] More for the

[00:57:34] The face than anything

[00:57:36] We're on Lifetime we have

[00:57:38] Hot people only that's why I was

[00:57:40] In a Lifetime movie

[00:57:42] So you know when

[00:57:44] Our hot stars are getting to the age

[00:57:46] Of not playing the hot stars they have to

[00:57:48] Move up to like

[00:57:50] Grandpa in a Christmas movie or something

[00:57:52] We gotta move on

[00:57:54] You know

[00:57:56] It's a triple cork

[00:57:58] It's a triple cork

[00:58:00] Patrick thank you so much

[00:58:02] Lifetimeoncork.com to read all of Patrick's
