[00:00:00] Hi, I'm Brandon. I love Lifetime Movies. I'm Patrick Sarno and I'm a Lifetime Movie

[00:00:07] expert. I'm Dan and I despise Lifetime Movies and this is the Deck The Hallmark

[00:01:00] do. I just want to give a shout out, Patrick, to a most recent review that we got on the

[00:01:11] Deck The Hallmark Podcast as we call it here. Yeah, I guess I didn't know I needed this

[00:01:18] from Holly's cat. I have never watched a hallmark movie. I came here via Lifetime on

[00:01:25] course. Let's go. Wow. But listen to this podcast every day. These guys have the energy of my

[00:01:32] favorite sports center shows, but it's all directed to romance. It's like piano, butter and bananas.

[00:01:38] It shouldn't work, but it's incredible. PS I love the bits keep coming. So put one in the

[00:01:42] bits column over there if we could. One in the bits column. Did you make a doggy sound with a cat?

[00:01:52] It's the best sound that happens when you make the bits. Would you say Patrick, you were joining

[00:01:55] in a bit. I said thanks, kiddie. Meow meow. Big shout out to Patrick, obviously because we have

[00:02:05] listeners that listen because of Patrick. There's there's process over there and it should probably

[00:02:11] officially become like a birch thing at some point but we'll get there. Look at it. Look,

[00:02:16] you know, it takes years for things like that to happen, Patrick. You know, our lawyers,

[00:02:20] our lawyers have been talking for a long time. There's a lot in the weeds there that makes

[00:02:24] that difficult. A lot of people I'm getting an early word from FILO. Obviously you can watch us on

[00:02:28] FILO, uh, FILO.com.com.com.com. It looks like you're wearing a backpack today which you'd like to

[00:02:33] speak to those people that have been talking about that. It's just a tank top but I got a new little

[00:02:39] necklace that I wanted to show off so I had to do like a low cut shirt, you know. It was very nice

[00:02:45] and I do just want to say I follow you on social media and it looks like you made some bread,

[00:02:49] some Easter bread. Oh yeah. That was colorful and you had a very acute Easter shirt.

[00:02:58] Oh thank you. I got so many compliments. The pastor thing was like, your shirt's cool and

[00:03:03] I was I was wearing a sweater over it because I was like this shirt's too much for church

[00:03:07] and no he was into it. Talk to the soldier at the wrong church. Can I just ask you real quick though?

[00:03:12] You put the shirt on and you said this is too much for sure but yeah then put a sweater on. At

[00:03:17] some point you ditched it because the pastor complimented the shirt. When I walked out of the church

[00:03:22] it was like I had risen us to got that shirt and I threw it away and I have my buttons. It was great.

[00:03:28] Barried in the likeness of his death, risen to walk and knewness of shirts. I know. I know.

[00:03:34] In a show one time I played a gay Jesus so you know sacrilegious like not a thing that I care about.

[00:03:41] Did you tie the pastor that? No I didn't shoot. Okay. I did. I was gay Jesus and I did cross

[00:03:47] fit. You were gay Jesus and did cross fit both in the play like gay Jesus does cross fit? Yeah that

[00:03:53] was a cross fit. You don't think straight Jesus will do cross fit. You know he does have the

[00:03:58] app so it's cross fit. It was cross fit like a cross fit. Yeah yeah it's a play on words.

[00:04:07] Yeah it is. And it's not play. It was a play too. And it was a play that I was playing with.

[00:04:13] Also the early reviews are in Patrick people love the lifetime game show polusa.

[00:04:17] That was last week. Love that is shocking. Yeah. We're all shocked. We're all shocked. We're all

[00:04:22] shocked. Brian said black horse and so we've cracked games. We weren't sure going out of it but I

[00:04:31] think it's pretty clear that we cracked games. So maybe we'll do it again soon. I think it was a lot

[00:04:34] of fun. But that's not what we're here today today. We're here for a good old-fashioned movie breakdown.

[00:04:41] Patrick which movie did you select for this week's?

[00:04:45] Dr. Lifetime or this month's? Dr. Lifetime? Yes for this for this month we you know we had a couple

[00:04:50] contenders and you know there was the Easter holiday there kind of slow in the movie release schedule

[00:04:56] up so we went with a movie that came out a couple weeks ago it's called My Acting Coach Nightmare.

[00:05:03] My Acting Coach Nightmare. You say Acting Coach Nightmare. You say slow slowing it up.

[00:05:11] Yeah the release schedule they've been doing like 101 or two a week. I say slowing it down.

[00:05:18] I say slowing it down. It's like slowing it down as well. It's like bump the air up or bump

[00:05:25] the air up. The air up air down is a real conundrum. What do you do if you want more air?

[00:05:31] If I wanted to be cool up it up. Oh if I wanted to be cooler I say turn the air down.

[00:05:35] Turn the air down. But I would say turn the AC up. That's wild. If I like turn the air down

[00:05:43] you're talking about the temperature that's the temperature if I say turn the AC up I mean I want

[00:05:46] the AC cranked. Man we had just cool. I AC shut it down and just think we listen well we don't have

[00:05:54] time because we're talking about my acting coach nightmare. Who's in this movie Patrick? There's no

[00:06:01] a thermostat in this movie thankfully but they do come up in lifetime every now and then.

[00:06:06] The movie my acting coach nightmare stars. Some year Armstrong who we love she played the sister

[00:06:13] in one of the movies we did an early on but now she's up to leading role. She's the lead. Yeah she

[00:06:18] plays the leading mom okay yeah she was great. Yes we have a look at the image like speaking of

[00:06:25] lost who's also Mrs. Claus now in the Santa Claus and was in that movie Elizabeth Elizabeth

[00:06:38] Elizabeth from last she looks she is now Miss Claus she was in that Christmas movie with Cameron

[00:06:45] Matheson the Christmas Club Elizabeth Mitchell Elizabeth Mitchell she looks a smidge like Elizabeth

[00:06:53] Mitch when you said Elizabeth inquisitively I was like I've missed this but it was a Elizabeth

[00:06:58] Mitchell yeah there we go I'm like Leslie Bibb Leslie Bibb was a man okay who else who else okay we got

[00:07:05] Cameron J. Bo our boy yep power range boy Neela Jolene Neela Jolene she plays and our lead

[00:07:15] yes the teen she's the teen who wants to take acting classes she was good as well and who asked

[00:07:21] the the big first lifetime movie appearance of Eric Von Deatton who you may know from Disney

[00:07:29] channels bring we do know him from bring do unfortunately we have reviewed it

[00:07:37] yeah go to decombocenants.com give it a listen yes yes I have a question for Patrick

[00:07:42] did you know Eric was in brink or did you get a strongly worded text from brand last night

[00:07:49] both but I so I knew that but I have never seen brink um don't know if he's a beauty from Disney

[00:07:57] back in the day he's yeah he's like a hotter JTT of that era yeah yeah yeah you knew him from

[00:08:04] Princess Diaries yes princess Diaries boy sure yeah bring from brink as we call him yes so brink

[00:08:12] is in this movie and we will talk about his first lifetime movie which I I went back and

[00:08:16] looked at the IMDb because I was like how does this guy not like I didn't think he was acting

[00:08:20] anymore he does voice voice voice voice obviously but he does like he's like a lawyer or something like

[00:08:28] a yeah he like hasn't made like a face appearance yes in a movie since like I don't know 2005

[00:08:36] 2006 it's been a while it's been a while decided this was the one this was the one let's find out

[00:08:41] why Patrick you and I watched this movie Danny did not we are going to tell you all about this movie

[00:08:46] in intense detail uh Patrick take it away you know some details I may have missed but the movie

[00:08:53] starts off with uh we get a sleep be like river town kind of thing it's like uh it's not like

[00:09:00] brodo drive river it's like the Mississippi River right yeah they're very proud of the fact that

[00:09:08] they know how to do like caption like words on the screen they're like this boulder is going to move

[00:09:15] and words are going to come out of it and you're like hey cool you did it so that happens for a while

[00:09:20] yeah it was a long intro long of all the river all the neighborhood it's great

[00:09:25] exciting the scene we're basically we're in the middle of nowhere is what you need to know uh there

[00:09:29] is an aspiring teen actor where named sienna uh she gets a flyer in the mail about an acting

[00:09:35] workshop which is a red flag if you get a flyer in the mail about an acting workshop don't take it

[00:09:39] that really that's yummy is that good have you ever been in an acting workshop you're like why did I

[00:09:44] do this oh yeah oh yeah oh you know we're talking about my acting coach nightmare I've had plenty

[00:09:51] of lows really lent lent I've had my fair share fair share um absolutely well we'll get to it we'll

[00:09:59] get okay yeah you know the business is is shady and and that's what the mom says uh her her name

[00:10:07] is Lisa and Lisa is like I don't know I don't think this acting thing is gonna work out you know

[00:10:13] like you might be talented but the industry is shady and I don't like it so let me think about it

[00:10:19] and and the girls just like you don't get it like you do a spreadsheet I want to be an actor

[00:10:25] that's what we do you know sometimes like sometimes you gotta take chances and there's a lot of

[00:10:30] anytime and this is important anytime in this movie where there's an argument between daughter and mom

[00:10:35] it is you don't understand you don't understand that is every arc yeah and that's a typical lifetime

[00:10:42] trope of the mom and daughter always like they're talking at talking at each other they're not

[00:10:47] listening to each other right um Lisa also uh talks to her boyfriend Mark who is our

[00:10:55] brink from brink Eric Von Dutton um they've had a rough summer you know the the dad died

[00:11:03] tragically in like a car accident I think yes and she's worried that sienna's taking out her

[00:11:10] feelings on like from the father dying in this class like it's like therapy but not you know

[00:11:18] yes and it's clear that like she does not like uh she's not married to mark they're just like

[00:11:24] together but it is clear that he kind of would be open to being that father figure for sienna

[00:11:30] and sienna has no interest no interest and brink from brink being I think she shouts at some point

[00:11:36] in the movie you're not my father yeah she does say that yeah while playing big jinga we'll get there oh

[00:11:41] yeah okay big it was big it should have been in the yard sienna attends a local theater uh with

[00:11:49] her friend her friend Amy's there and Amy's been in the class a couple weeks she's like show under

[00:11:53] the ropes and then we meet max frost he is a professional actor max for straight from Hollywood baby

[00:12:01] he knows the ins and outs of the business and he uh also teaches this class which is apparently

[00:12:08] like you can it's been going on for while I don't you my question is is this class is clearly

[00:12:16] ongoing it's been going up for a little while but he's still sending out flyers but he knows

[00:12:21] my question is this is in the year of our lord 2024 where you can IMDB costume designers set

[00:12:28] designers you shouldn't you like are we just supposed to take for just that sienna has not done

[00:12:35] any of this or does this guy have some actual credits decent I guess he he has experience experience

[00:12:44] in Hollywood I guess is what he says and he just says that he knows he knows people and he has a

[00:12:50] house there yeah and he's but he's just he's a coach he's not he's not he doesn't do

[00:12:54] you have some cred right okay he lives and he lives in holly's no there's a nightmare coming and I

[00:12:59] feel like if you see yeah right so max has everyone's like vibing vying for his approval and

[00:13:10] they're vibing and they're vying and he has a star people current star people her name's Haley

[00:13:17] she really nails the mirroring exercise if you guys have ever been an asset class you're

[00:13:21] ready Patrick go go put me out put me big next to Patrick are you ready okay yeah I'm ready

[00:13:27] okay you you mirror me this with the great okay yeah no other one do it like yeah other oh man

[00:13:38] if you're on fire uh that father TV shows DTH and you're thinking of can't leave

[00:13:42] around please don't like they're so good there yeah where can I see you just saw this you just

[00:13:48] saw the scene uh and if you've ever taken a matching class that is it you just slowly move your

[00:13:53] hands around and kind of try to do it simultaneously no one's leading uh we started with the

[00:14:01] mirroring exercise I said see it as amazed by this she literally turns to me and it's like how are

[00:14:07] they doing that yeah it's like magic but Haley's it's like really good and there is like some

[00:14:14] some sexual tension there between the student and the teacher and you know we're like oh that's

[00:14:18] not good um names max frost you cry now yeah yeah so and seeing as like really happy and like

[00:14:28] excited for the class and she tells her mom all about it and because around picks were up and

[00:14:32] she's very embarrassed by that but uh the next class they start to work on text and I sent a clip

[00:14:39] because the texts are working on is Romeo and Juliet Dan your favorite yeah of course

[00:14:46] some she's oh I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry this is what's happening here the

[00:14:52] star pupil is is uh on display for everyone showing her skills as Juliet and uh with a very gay

[00:15:01] Romeo yeah it

[00:15:11] She shoots.

[00:15:21] Oh Romeo, Romeo.

[00:15:25] Wherefore...

[00:15:28] Wherefore Arthur, Romeo.

[00:15:31] Deny the eyefather and refuse my name.

[00:15:38] Hey we?

[00:15:42] Okay, we get out there. We get out of here.

[00:15:46] Again.

[00:15:47] Why don't we start?

[00:15:50] And so I would like for you, Dan, to just remember that scene.

[00:15:55] I would...

[00:15:56] I will not be able to forget it.

[00:15:58] To remember the way in which she's responding to Max

[00:16:03] in that class.

[00:16:05] Well, she's a terrible actor.

[00:16:08] Well, she's like, she's mad.

[00:16:10] She's like, whatever.

[00:16:12] She's doing this on purpose.

[00:16:14] Way different than the mirroring exercise

[00:16:16] where she was clearly enthralled by everything Max Frost.

[00:16:19] And this class...

[00:16:21] It's just like...

[00:16:23] Why haven't you...

[00:16:24] Short sun for Santa Claus 4.

[00:16:26] Yeah.

[00:16:27] Max Frost.

[00:16:28] Why haven't you done this?

[00:16:29] There you go.

[00:16:31] And Sienna is like, what the heck?

[00:16:33] So she's like...

[00:16:35] She's playing the nurse of course.

[00:16:37] And she does her nurse monologue

[00:16:39] and Max Frost is like, you are so good.

[00:16:41] You are too sexy hot to be playing the nurse.

[00:16:46] You should be Juliet.

[00:16:48] You should be Juliet.

[00:16:50] And Sienna's like, oh my gosh, me?

[00:16:52] I'm the new girl.

[00:16:54] And I would just...

[00:16:55] And I would just like to speak really quickly

[00:16:58] to young people out there

[00:17:00] that are interested in getting involved in the arts.

[00:17:03] If your teacher

[00:17:07] mentions your physical appearance...

[00:17:11] Peerance at all.

[00:17:13] You should tell someone.

[00:17:14] Tell somebody.

[00:17:15] Immediately.

[00:17:16] Leave.

[00:17:17] Don't come back.

[00:17:19] Because wolf.

[00:17:21] Yeah.

[00:17:22] Unless apparently for some deck of hallmark fans,

[00:17:26] it's Nick and Alice.

[00:17:28] Then...

[00:17:29] That's different.

[00:17:30] Then all bets are off.

[00:17:32] I'm sorry, go ahead.

[00:17:34] And that's fine.

[00:17:35] Yeah, well...

[00:17:36] Patrick doesn't even...

[00:17:38] Patrick doesn't know.

[00:17:39] He's like, yeah.

[00:17:40] Don't pipe in, Patrick.

[00:17:42] I do just want to say,

[00:17:44] watching this movie

[00:17:46] after just recently watching

[00:17:48] the quiet on sets of Nickelodeon doggies.

[00:17:52] Maybe there's a tough watch.

[00:17:54] It should.

[00:17:55] Very...

[00:17:57] I don't know if they knew

[00:17:59] that was coming out

[00:18:00] and they planned the release accordingly,

[00:18:02] but expert timing on Lifetime's part.

[00:18:05] Oh yeah. Very...

[00:18:06] On the...

[00:18:07] On the nose of like culture

[00:18:09] and what's going on.

[00:18:10] And you know,

[00:18:11] the young people do need to know that they're not okay.

[00:18:13] Like in my high school experience

[00:18:15] at a performing arts high school,

[00:18:17] we had like breathing exercises

[00:18:19] where we would all lie on the floor

[00:18:21] in pitch black dark

[00:18:22] with the windows taped over

[00:18:24] with the teacher all alone.

[00:18:27] For hours.

[00:18:28] That was what I did in school.

[00:18:30] That was what I did in school.

[00:18:31] That's credit.

[00:18:32] I got to create for that.

[00:18:34] I got credit for that.

[00:18:35] Yes.

[00:18:36] And by surprise,

[00:18:37] surprise that teacher turned out

[00:18:39] to be sleeping with one of the students who got all the lead roles.

[00:18:41] Wow!

[00:18:42] I can't believe it Patrick.

[00:18:44] That was my first experience

[00:18:46] with an acting coach.

[00:18:48] So if that board is opening,

[00:18:50] you're like,

[00:18:51] okay.

[00:18:52] So I think it's not that uncommon as what I'm saying.

[00:18:54] Oh no, absolutely.

[00:18:55] It's not...

[00:18:56] Yeah, for sure.

[00:18:57] So we got to nip that.

[00:18:58] Anyways, moving on.

[00:19:00] So...

[00:19:02] You know, the show must go on.

[00:19:05] You see how it gets to be Juliet.

[00:19:07] And Amy is like that.

[00:19:08] Well that's why he's basically like you're too good

[00:19:11] to be doing this.

[00:19:12] She's not...

[00:19:13] Not Juliet yet.

[00:19:14] She's not not Juliet.

[00:19:16] That's coming.

[00:19:17] That's coming.

[00:19:18] You know, it happens.

[00:19:19] It happens.

[00:19:20] So Amy and Ciana are leaving class.

[00:19:22] They see Haley and Max Frost

[00:19:23] in an argument across the street

[00:19:24] and they're like,

[00:19:25] what's going on?

[00:19:26] Is that...

[00:19:27] Yeah.

[00:19:28] But then Lisa,

[00:19:29] the mom comes up and ruins everything

[00:19:31] and she's like,

[00:19:32] mom we're trying to...

[00:19:34] East drop and like...

[00:19:35] She's like,

[00:19:36] I'm concerned about that.

[00:19:37] Because they tell them...

[00:19:38] They tell the mom about the fight

[00:19:39] and she's like,

[00:19:40] I'm concerned about teacher fighting

[00:19:42] with a student in the middle of the street.

[00:19:44] Like that doesn't sound

[00:19:46] good.

[00:19:47] And she is concerned

[00:19:49] that her daughter like got the role so fast,

[00:19:51] like something's feeling wrong to her.

[00:19:53] She's like not feeling great.

[00:19:56] Yeah, and things are feeling wrong here too

[00:19:58] because I think it's time for a break.

[00:20:00] Okay, okay.

[00:20:01] Yeah, you're right.

[00:20:01] That wasn't my best.

[00:20:02] We'll be right back.

[00:20:03] It looks like the world's all right.

[00:20:04] Everybody.

[00:20:05] Oh.

[00:20:11] We have, we're still, we're going to transition school

[00:20:14] but Brain had a bad experience with that teacher.

[00:20:16] And I just thought that was tough.

[00:20:17] This was a tough, there.

[00:20:19] How's it tough go to break?

[00:20:20] I'll do better next time.

[00:20:21] We are back to doing worse.

[00:20:24] We are back.

[00:20:26] And Sienna, Sienna's excited to be Julia.

[00:20:29] She is, she the gay Romeo just can't get the vibes right

[00:20:34] with the love and he and Max Frost has to step in

[00:20:38] and do a line reading and reads the whole scene

[00:20:41] with Sienna and they have all this like tension going on

[00:20:46] and hand.

[00:20:48] Yeah, let me show you, let me show you child

[00:20:52] how to do this line and he does it with holding her hand

[00:20:55] in his very like passionate about it.

[00:20:57] He's like, yes, that is art.

[00:21:00] Yeah, and everyone's like, oh my gosh,

[00:21:02] this is so amazing except for Lisa the mom

[00:21:05] who is not happy to learn that Sienna will be saying

[00:21:08] after class for one on one tutoring.

[00:21:10] That's right.

[00:21:11] And tutoring.

[00:21:12] That's right.

[00:21:13] And she's like very upset.

[00:21:14] So she talks to Mark over the big Jenga.

[00:21:17] We get the big Jenga scene.

[00:21:19] The bit like it's life-sized Jenga like that.

[00:21:22] The smokehouse.

[00:21:23] It's a little smaller bigger than normal smaller

[00:21:25] than the biggest you've seen.

[00:21:28] It is bigger than a local cube.

[00:21:30] Too big for a table, too big for a table,

[00:21:31] but they're sitting inside.

[00:21:32] They're playing in their sitting down and their jam jams.

[00:21:35] Yeah, they're sitting on the floor playing.

[00:21:37] Yeah, and this is when they try to talk to her

[00:21:40] and when she says, you're not my dad.

[00:21:43] Yeah, because she's feeling like they're saying

[00:21:45] she's not talented, but they're saying

[00:21:47] like be careful around men in powerful situations

[00:21:50] where there are the only like check,

[00:21:52] there's no checks and balances.

[00:21:54] And she's like, what are you saying?

[00:21:55] Like he just wants me to be the lead because I'm hot.

[00:21:58] Like I have talent.

[00:22:00] And this is what I say all the time.

[00:22:02] Like you want me to just do this because I'm hot?

[00:22:04] Like I'm talented too.

[00:22:06] Right.

[00:22:06] Patrick gets that's the one thing.

[00:22:07] Patrick's really low maintenance,

[00:22:08] but the one thing is is that if he thinks

[00:22:11] he's getting special treatment

[00:22:12] because he's attractive, it is gosh, it's tough.

[00:22:16] It's tough.

[00:22:17] Yeah, look, it's tough.

[00:22:18] We're trying our best here, Patrick.

[00:22:20] But one time a breeze took me a drink for free.

[00:22:22] I threw that in their face.

[00:22:23] I said, I don't need your free drink.

[00:22:24] I will pay with my money.

[00:22:27] My looks don't get me everything.

[00:22:28] That's right.

[00:22:30] But does it get you some things?

[00:22:31] Because it seems like you're pretty aggressively

[00:22:33] pushing back against it.

[00:22:35] Well, it's called pretty privilege.

[00:22:38] And I don't want any of that.

[00:22:39] Yeah.

[00:22:40] Well, your tank top backpack says otherwise.

[00:22:43] Patrick.

[00:22:45] The guy that wears a tank top to record

[00:22:47] doesn't want you to treat him differently

[00:22:50] because he's pretty.

[00:22:51] There you go.

[00:22:52] Say I have been working out five days a week

[00:22:55] with my sister-in-law.

[00:22:56] And let me tell you, she is insane.

[00:22:58] What are you doing, Patrick?

[00:22:59] What's the workouts?

[00:23:00] What are you doing?

[00:23:01] We're doing the Mark Wahlberg F45 and the OTF

[00:23:04] R&S theory fitness.

[00:23:06] Wow.

[00:23:07] Five days a week.

[00:23:07] It's a lot of work.

[00:23:08] I don't know that first thing.

[00:23:09] Mark Wahlberg at checkout.

[00:23:11] You say Mark Wahlberg up 45?

[00:23:15] F, F45.

[00:23:16] Like fitness.

[00:23:17] But you only do it for 45 minutes.

[00:23:20] Oh, that's it?

[00:23:21] Yeah.

[00:23:22] And I'm like five.

[00:23:23] So you have thoughts?

[00:23:25] I say no.

[00:23:25] If you want a Taya Ricci and her husband,

[00:23:29] they own an F45 gym.

[00:23:30] You can go and train with them.

[00:23:32] Yeah.

[00:23:33] Stop selling.

[00:23:34] I think I probably good.

[00:23:35] You want to go?

[00:23:36] I mean, we'll go right up.

[00:23:37] Yeah.

[00:23:38] Orange theory.

[00:23:39] I'm a big OTF guy myself.

[00:23:40] Who down with OTF?

[00:23:41] You've got to get the heart rate up.

[00:23:43] But it's good.

[00:23:44] You're getting the cardio is good for you, man.

[00:23:47] Yeah.

[00:23:47] We're all getting older.

[00:23:48] So put in the top on the treadmill.

[00:23:50] Get yourself a palaton or whatever you need to do.

[00:23:52] There you go.

[00:23:53] Or go have a walk.

[00:23:54] But but but Sienna doesn't want to hear any of that.

[00:23:57] She doesn't love her for her talent.

[00:24:00] And she is talented.

[00:24:01] She's she's got a talent.

[00:24:03] The next day though, obviously Lisa is still concerned.

[00:24:06] And so she sends Mark.

[00:24:09] She sends Brink to go talk to Max Frost

[00:24:13] and try to get a like, hey, get a read on this guy.

[00:24:16] You see she sends Brink.

[00:24:17] She sends Brink.

[00:24:18] OK.

[00:24:19] And so like Brink has a conversation

[00:24:21] is like, hey, I'm pretty concerned about the whole one-on-one

[00:24:24] and he's like totally get it, dude.

[00:24:26] Like, you know, I usually send out a request for the one-on-one.

[00:24:29] But like this was like last night.

[00:24:30] It just we kind of needed to do it then.

[00:24:32] It's a love board.

[00:24:33] Above board.

[00:24:33] And I welcome any questions like that.

[00:24:36] Doing the sweet talk and like, hey,

[00:24:38] really appreciate your concern.

[00:24:40] But Brink seems pretty convinced at this moment that,

[00:24:43] you know, this is no big deal.

[00:24:45] And it's clear that Max Frost has had parents

[00:24:50] bring concerns to him before like this.

[00:24:52] And after class that day, Patrick, there

[00:24:54] is we see somebody taking pictures across the street.

[00:25:01] You're just kind of like, all right, that's weird.

[00:25:02] Taking pictures of the kids is they're leaving class.

[00:25:05] You're like, that's weird.

[00:25:06] I'm sure we'll figure out what that is.

[00:25:07] But for now, we don't know.

[00:25:09] It's just someone taking pictures of kids across the street.

[00:25:12] There you have us.

[00:25:13] So Sienna decides to use that after-time special time

[00:25:20] with Max to talk about Hollywood, how

[00:25:22] to like break into the biz.

[00:25:24] And she tells her that, you know,

[00:25:26] she's pretty enough to make it.

[00:25:28] And there are groups that she can join

[00:25:31] to move her career forwards when she moves to Hollywood,

[00:25:35] groups, a little bit naughty.

[00:25:37] Yeah, I'm excited.

[00:25:38] A little bit.

[00:25:39] Scientology maybe?

[00:25:41] Yeah.

[00:25:41] And then he's like, you know what we're going to do?

[00:25:43] We're going to do a photo shoot with you

[00:25:46] and get you some headshots.

[00:25:47] So if you know, well, if you remember Patrick,

[00:25:50] headshots are a part of the class.

[00:25:52] That's a part of the player.

[00:25:53] It was a lot of the player.

[00:25:54] I don't think she expected this.

[00:25:56] She's surprised, but he's like, you know what?

[00:25:58] You know the Romeo and Juliet front page and back page.

[00:26:01] Left, we don't need that.

[00:26:02] We don't need that.

[00:26:03] We are doing acting.

[00:26:04] So photo shoot, photo shoot picture.

[00:26:06] Picture.

[00:26:07] It's all montage.

[00:26:08] It's a montage.

[00:26:09] And they're terrible headshots.

[00:26:11] We get all these different shots and they're all bad.

[00:26:14] They're not a good one and not usable one in the bunch.

[00:26:16] How do you think it is?

[00:26:17] Nice.

[00:26:18] They're good for pictures, but they're not headshots.

[00:26:20] OK, Patrick, did you get professional headshots done

[00:26:23] when you went to the movie Chicago?

[00:26:24] Of course I did.

[00:26:25] And I had to, well, I did them in my college town

[00:26:29] and I drank like a whole bottle of wine before because I

[00:26:32] was really nervous.

[00:26:33] Those didn't turn out great.

[00:26:34] So yeah, I did.

[00:26:35] Every day in Chicago.

[00:26:37] How much does run?

[00:26:38] How much do you have to run?

[00:26:39] How much do you have to run?

[00:26:40] Oh, like 350, probably it's a good average.

[00:26:43] I don't know now, probably more.

[00:26:45] I don't do head.

[00:26:46] I'm off for only now.

[00:26:47] You're off for only now and more than fair.

[00:26:48] We have to send a formal offer every time we do the show.

[00:26:52] Yeah.

[00:26:53] Because I'm pretty and we're like, no, it's not.

[00:26:55] No, it's not because it doesn't hurt that you're pretty,

[00:26:57] but it's not that way.

[00:26:59] You're a lifetime of the expert.

[00:27:00] We start there and we go.

[00:27:02] It's your expertise.

[00:27:03] Yes.

[00:27:04] Why wouldn't we?

[00:27:05] This is the lifetime movie for me, for real.

[00:27:07] Yeah.

[00:27:08] But and you know, go ahead.

[00:27:09] What?

[00:27:10] No.

[00:27:11] Oh, I was going to say during the photo shoot,

[00:27:12] he's like, why don't you take off that jacket?

[00:27:15] Oh my gosh.

[00:27:15] When she was on button to button, you know,

[00:27:17] that type of thing and you're like, oh boy.

[00:27:19] And she really is like not comfortable with it.

[00:27:22] Yeah, she's not.

[00:27:22] I will say, like I, this scene started and I'm like,

[00:27:27] oh no, yeah, this is going to get real bad.

[00:27:31] It didn't get as bad as you were expecting it to get,

[00:27:34] but still way over the line and uncomfortable.

[00:27:38] But she, you know what?

[00:27:39] She's like, then he does this thing

[00:27:41] and is really creepy afterwards.

[00:27:42] He's looking at the pictures and he's like,

[00:27:44] they're going to love you.

[00:27:47] OK.

[00:27:48] Oh yeah.

[00:27:49] I guess.

[00:27:49] Sorry, Max Frost.

[00:27:50] It's a damn lunch.

[00:27:52] Well, and the thing about this whole scene

[00:27:54] about not going too far, that's what happened

[00:27:58] was enough to make a CNN uncomfortable.

[00:28:00] Sure.

[00:28:01] That's enough to talk to somebody and be like,

[00:28:02] hey, this was 100%.

[00:28:04] Yeah.

[00:28:05] And that's what you need to do.

[00:28:06] If even if you're a little bit like,

[00:28:07] oh, I don't know about that, you should say something for sure.

[00:28:11] So see something, say something.

[00:28:12] See something, say something.

[00:28:14] Yeah.

[00:28:14] And but she gets the pictures on her computer

[00:28:18] and she's like looking through them

[00:28:20] and she's like, OK, this is nice, isn't it?

[00:28:22] She gets to one of the pictures with sand sweater

[00:28:25] and you know, she's like, oh, this is kind of weird.

[00:28:28] Then she gets a phone call.

[00:28:29] She goes to take this phone call, walks out of the room.

[00:28:32] Well, what does mom do?

[00:28:34] Mom walks in with laundry.

[00:28:36] Yeah.

[00:28:37] Sees the pictures.

[00:28:39] Yeah.

[00:28:39] And then another big argument.

[00:28:41] Here we go.

[00:28:42] Big fight.

[00:28:43] She's like, it's inexactable to take pictures like that.

[00:28:45] You're a walking mattress.

[00:28:49] Like she just really lays into the daughter and like,

[00:28:52] she's like, she's such a...

[00:28:53] Max.

[00:28:54] Oh my god.

[00:28:55] They do get in a big argument.

[00:28:57] And see how it goes to leave.

[00:28:59] And that is when Brink from Brink comes outside

[00:29:01] from Brink gives my favorite line delivery

[00:29:03] of the walking mattress.

[00:29:04] Which I did bring.

[00:29:05] I brought as well.

[00:29:06] Hippie.

[00:29:08] Why isn't playing?

[00:29:09] Oh, hold on, hold on, hold on.

[00:29:10] Here we go.

[00:29:11] Here we go.

[00:29:11] OK.

[00:29:19] Brink from Brink crushing it.

[00:29:22] What I miss.

[00:29:24] What I miss.

[00:29:25] Oh, good.

[00:29:25] I love that he brought his so-cal energy from Brink.

[00:29:29] He's Brink.

[00:29:30] This is a dope brink.

[00:29:31] A dope brink.

[00:29:31] It's adult brink.

[00:29:32] Yeah.

[00:29:32] Eric Vandatin isn't like, you never

[00:29:34] be mistaken for range.

[00:29:36] You know what I mean?

[00:29:37] Like his...

[00:29:37] Yeah, who he is.

[00:29:38] Yeah.

[00:29:39] I love it.

[00:29:40] It was like so funny for me in this movie.

[00:29:42] Just like, man, this guy is just himself.

[00:29:45] Absolutely.

[00:29:46] So the scene that runs off.

[00:29:48] Yeah.

[00:29:48] Right.

[00:29:49] She's with Max in an addressing room, of course.

[00:29:53] And I'm like, just he lived in the dressing room.

[00:29:55] Like, why is he there?

[00:29:56] He hugs her and tells her that it's a safe space.

[00:30:01] And Mark comes into the theater.

[00:30:05] And he's like, this is inappropriate.

[00:30:08] This is terrible.

[00:30:10] And basically, Max Frost blames Mark.

[00:30:16] Like, he's like you are creeping around the theater.

[00:30:20] Like, you're here all the time.

[00:30:21] Like waiting for me after class, something's wrong with you.

[00:30:24] Like you're an abuser or like a weirdo.

[00:30:27] Yeah.

[00:30:28] And he's a basically like, hey, like you're over here acting

[00:30:32] like I'm this bad guy, but actually we're

[00:30:35] getting some complaints about you.

[00:30:36] Some people are saying that they're seeing you lurking

[00:30:41] across the street watching the kids.

[00:30:44] Oh my goodness.

[00:30:46] And he's like, what are you talking about, man?

[00:30:50] What are you talking about?

[00:30:52] That's good.

[00:30:52] That's really good.

[00:30:53] And in a previous scene, we see someone tampering with a car

[00:30:57] but we don't have any contacts to what that is.

[00:30:59] So yeah, but now it's coming into play.

[00:31:01] Yeah, yeah.

[00:31:02] Yeah, yeah.

[00:31:03] It's happening here, right?

[00:31:05] So Lisa finds a camera and pictures

[00:31:10] while Mark is sleeping in a whole car.

[00:31:14] Hold on, hold on, false.

[00:31:16] Oh, not entirely true.

[00:31:17] Wait.

[00:31:18] So false.

[00:31:18] OK.

[00:31:19] Just for the quick.

[00:31:20] So Sienna and Mark or Sienna and Mark, I'm Mark.

[00:31:25] They come in and she's like you won't believe what she did.

[00:31:29] And that's when Lisa's like, well, he's

[00:31:33] being a little creeper said that people

[00:31:35] he was taking pictures of kids coming out of the class

[00:31:38] and Mark's like, I don't even have a camera.

[00:31:43] Have you ever even seen me with a camera?

[00:31:46] And she's like, it's a good point.

[00:31:47] I've never seen her before.

[00:31:49] I've never seen her impression.

[00:31:50] And rightfully so, I've never seen you with a camera.

[00:31:53] And Lisa's like, whatever, I'm going upstairs.

[00:31:56] And obviously this causes Lisa's mind

[00:31:58] to begin to run like what if she has some sort of secret camera.

[00:32:02] So then she goes out to the car and doesn't find a camera.

[00:32:06] Instead finds an envelope.

[00:32:09] And inside the envelope are a bunch of pictures

[00:32:13] of kids leaving the theater.

[00:32:17] And so she goes up and she throws it like marks out

[00:32:19] their outside a sleep with a drink in his hand.

[00:32:25] As he does, she throws the pictures on him

[00:32:28] and is like, what is this?

[00:32:30] And he's like, what?

[00:32:32] And he's gone.

[00:32:33] The next day.

[00:32:34] Yeah, he's out of here.

[00:32:35] He's driven his best light.

[00:32:37] But he's out of the house.

[00:32:41] Amy confronts Sienna and tells her that it's weird

[00:32:44] that she got the lead role.

[00:32:46] Like something's going on.

[00:32:47] The whole class is like, yeah, that's really not cool.

[00:32:50] Like people turn on your people.

[00:32:52] Yeah, they turn on their like and Max Cross interrupts

[00:32:56] and he's like, we don't have time for this drama.

[00:33:01] We are not cheerleaders.

[00:33:02] We are not ballerinas.

[00:33:03] We are actors.

[00:33:05] We are acting here.

[00:33:06] That's right.

[00:33:08] Drama dramas.

[00:33:09] Drama's for a couple of different groups of people.

[00:33:11] Cheerleaders, gymnasts, ballerinas.

[00:33:15] Not always.

[00:33:16] That was such a good line.

[00:33:17] Like put that on T-shirt, please.

[00:33:19] And then he and then to end the scene, he's like, all right.

[00:33:23] All right, class, let's work on some Myzner exercises.

[00:33:27] You guys probably don't know.

[00:33:29] It a lot of people probably don't know what Myzner is.

[00:33:31] But you basically repeat a simple word or phrase

[00:33:35] over and over and over until it loses all meaning.

[00:33:38] And then you find the truth behind the words.

[00:33:42] Right.

[00:33:43] That's exactly what happened here and exactly what we're

[00:33:46] going to do as we go to break.

[00:33:47] And Patrick fixes his microphone because it just

[00:33:50] went to a different input.

[00:33:51] We'll be right back.

[00:33:52] Break, break, break, break, break, break, break, break, break.

[00:33:56] Break, break.

[00:33:59] So high marks.

[00:34:02] Break, break, break, break, break.

[00:34:05] Welcome back everybody.

[00:34:07] Patrick, hello.

[00:34:09] I'm back.

[00:34:10] He's back.

[00:34:10] Oh, sounds great.

[00:34:11] I didn't find the meaning of the word break.

[00:34:13] Yeah, we figured it out.

[00:34:14] We're good to go.

[00:34:16] So yes, everybody doesn't like her and she's like whatever.

[00:34:20] And that's just kind of the way things go.

[00:34:22] And Mark obviously tries to fight for Lisa comes back

[00:34:25] during the day and is like, hey, I want to once again reiterate

[00:34:29] the fact that I don't own a camera.

[00:34:32] Oh, I don't even have a camera.

[00:34:36] And she's like, no, I can't do this right now.

[00:34:39] Well, an interesting thing that he never once does

[00:34:41] is say, hey, why would I print out photos

[00:34:44] and keep them in an envelope in my heart?

[00:34:46] He never brings up that fact.

[00:34:47] He just keeps going, I don't even have a camera.

[00:34:50] We all have cameras, man, like on our phone,

[00:34:52] but whatever doesn't matter.

[00:34:54] He, she sends him back officially.

[00:34:57] He's like, hey, we're not gonna do this.

[00:34:58] Stay stay away.

[00:35:00] After my husband died, this was a big thing.

[00:35:02] And the fact that you've betrayed my trust,

[00:35:05] I don't want to talk to you ever again.

[00:35:08] Yeah.

[00:35:08] And the drama is too much for Santa.

[00:35:10] She goes to a fancy dinner with Max

[00:35:14] and he lets her order wine.

[00:35:16] And she's like, I've been on that me drink this wine

[00:35:18] and he's like, oh, they don't have to know.

[00:35:19] She knows it really crazy.

[00:35:21] He doesn't let her order it.

[00:35:22] He brings it to her.

[00:35:23] He orders it for her.

[00:35:25] Yeah.

[00:35:26] You like, it's not great.

[00:35:27] She's like, I don't really want that.

[00:35:29] And he does this thing where she's like,

[00:35:31] I don't like, isn't like,

[00:35:32] I'm gonna get in trouble for this.

[00:35:33] And he's like, actors shouldn't follow rules.

[00:35:38] Rules are what keep you in the box.

[00:35:39] Actors are all about being outside the box.

[00:35:41] Rules are trying to constrain us.

[00:35:44] And so we gotta try to break the really starting

[00:35:46] to sound like a lifetime movie.

[00:35:47] Yeah.

[00:35:48] And that's when he gives her a back rub.

[00:35:50] Oh no.

[00:35:52] To calm her down because she was so upset.

[00:35:54] Which is, these are all good details of examples

[00:35:57] of things that you should be like on the lookout

[00:35:59] at who are young actors.

[00:36:00] Yes.

[00:36:01] Yes, right?

[00:36:02] Yeah, let us in.

[00:36:03] Maybe someone says you're pretty and you're like,

[00:36:06] okay, I'm sure it's nothing, blah, blah.

[00:36:08] If they give you wine and give you a back massage.

[00:36:11] Yeah.

[00:36:12] If their name's Max Proff.

[00:36:13] Yes, they back from right.

[00:36:15] These are all good things to give away.

[00:36:17] They're giving the old noggin's.

[00:36:18] Yes.

[00:36:19] Run.

[00:36:20] So, Sienna is invited to go to Hollywood

[00:36:24] to introduce her to the group.

[00:36:26] The groups.

[00:36:27] I love the groups gonna love you

[00:36:28] and they can help kind of, you're so pretty

[00:36:30] that there's gonna have to be no problem

[00:36:32] getting you a bunch of rules.

[00:36:34] Oh yeah.

[00:36:35] And she's gonna have like a spiritual awakening.

[00:36:37] She's gonna have idealogical ideology.

[00:36:42] Idealogical.

[00:36:43] Idealogical.

[00:36:44] Idealogical.

[00:36:45] Idealogical.

[00:36:46] Idealogy of betterment.

[00:36:47] There you go.

[00:36:48] There you go.

[00:36:49] This is all about plastic.

[00:36:51] And if that doesn't sound so appealing,

[00:36:54] he just is like, okay, we'll just go.

[00:36:58] And she writes a letter to her mom.

[00:37:00] She's like went to Hollywood with Max.

[00:37:02] Don't try to find me.

[00:37:04] And she goes.

[00:37:06] She's like, I'm not gonna do anything.

[00:37:08] Right.

[00:37:09] So Lisa rushes to the theater.

[00:37:12] She's like, where's my daughter?

[00:37:14] And she's gone obviously.

[00:37:16] The police can help.

[00:37:17] Yeah, the police are like, she's 18

[00:37:20] and lifetime is always very clear to express that

[00:37:23] when it's like one of these like,

[00:37:24] if you've team things really.

[00:37:26] 18, they're 18.

[00:37:27] 18.

[00:37:28] So she calls Amy.

[00:37:31] And Amy's like, I don't know.

[00:37:32] Like I've been actually kind of a real dingus

[00:37:34] to her ever since she got the star role.

[00:37:36] But you know who might know is Haley.

[00:37:38] Haley was to start people.

[00:37:40] We saw them arguing outside of the school.

[00:37:43] Maybe there's something to it.

[00:37:45] Right.

[00:37:46] And so she sets up a meeting.

[00:37:48] I'll just jump to the meeting while we're talking about it.

[00:37:50] So Haley is a motel made now.

[00:37:53] Like she went from like acting school

[00:37:55] to like a motel made.

[00:37:57] She leases like, I have some questions about Max Frost

[00:38:01] and Haley tells Lisa that Max is a good actor

[00:38:05] and he's working for this group of industry insiders

[00:38:09] who traffic, they didn't say traffic.

[00:38:13] But they see like have a role in acts of pictures

[00:38:17] of these girls that they're using as blackmail

[00:38:20] to get them to do whatever they want in Hollywood.

[00:38:23] Right.

[00:38:24] And somehow, again, this is bar,

[00:38:28] I'm very unsure about this but Haley,

[00:38:30] this happened to Haley, I guess.

[00:38:32] Yeah.

[00:38:33] And then she said, I don't want to do anymore

[00:38:35] and then went to class the next day and did this.

[00:38:40] Oh Romeo, Romeo.

[00:38:43] Where for?

[00:38:46] At this point in time.

[00:38:47] Oh wow.

[00:38:48] So that scene is taking place now?

[00:38:50] No, yes.

[00:38:51] That's so, and scene one when they're doing

[00:38:55] the follow me exercise.

[00:38:58] Mirror, mirror.

[00:38:58] They're clearly in love.

[00:39:00] Something happens.

[00:39:02] Then the next day at class,

[00:39:03] she's doing this Romeo, Romeo thing.

[00:39:06] From what my understand, he took her to Hollywood.

[00:39:10] Right.

[00:39:11] Took pictures of her for blackmail.

[00:39:14] And then I guess when she said

[00:39:16] I don't want to do this anymore,

[00:39:17] he just let her go but she showed back up at class

[00:39:21] and did the weird Romeo, Romeo thing.

[00:39:22] Is that your understanding too Patrick?

[00:39:24] Yeah, pretty much.

[00:39:25] Okay. Wow.

[00:39:26] We don't know what happened but we're about to see

[00:39:28] with Sienna because he just took her to Hollywood, right?

[00:39:31] So we're in this very LA home.

[00:39:34] Sienna is so impressed.

[00:39:36] There's a pool, there's a backyard.

[00:39:38] Oh, I gotta be on the floor with you.

[00:39:40] It wasn't that great.

[00:39:41] House is fun.

[00:39:43] There's a gift in the bedroom though

[00:39:44] and in the bedroom is a sexy dress for her to wear

[00:39:47] for the group meeting.

[00:39:49] And Sienna's like this dress is too much

[00:39:51] like saying like, oh, what a nice gift.

[00:39:55] But really she's like this dress is like not my style

[00:39:57] and it's kind of like not appropriate for what I want to wear.

[00:40:01] And he's like, it will impress everybody, just wear it.

[00:40:04] So he meets her by the pool with some wine

[00:40:08] and he tells her that the group is gonna love her.

[00:40:12] He steps away to take a phone call

[00:40:13] and Sienna looks in the mirror.

[00:40:15] She doesn't feel like herself.

[00:40:17] You know she's like, what am I doing?

[00:40:18] This isn't me.

[00:40:19] I don't wanna do this.

[00:40:20] I'm a Sony.

[00:40:21] Yeah.

[00:40:22] And then she looks through Max has his camera there

[00:40:25] because he was like taking pictures of her dress.

[00:40:27] He does on a camera.

[00:40:29] Yeah, it's a camera.

[00:40:30] So she looks through the photos and finds pictures of Haley

[00:40:33] in the same dress, the same like sexy dress

[00:40:37] and she's like, okay, this is the thing we gotta go here.

[00:40:40] She scrolls further or back I guess

[00:40:42] and sees pictures of the students leaving the school.

[00:40:47] So it's clearly took everything there.

[00:40:49] It's all becoming very clear to Sienna what happened here.

[00:40:54] Yeah.

[00:40:55] And Max catches her with the camera.

[00:40:57] He grabs her and he's like,

[00:40:59] Haley what's not done with you yet.

[00:41:01] That's right.

[00:41:03] So yeah, go ahead.

[00:41:05] That's commercial.

[00:41:06] Sienna wakes up she's tied to a chair

[00:41:07] and she handle it room.

[00:41:10] Lisa has been on her way from the theater

[00:41:12] and she sneaks in the back door,

[00:41:15] like unties her daughter

[00:41:17] and then she punches Max on the stomach

[00:41:20] punch.

[00:41:21] Yeah, it was good.

[00:41:22] And they are tessling around struggling over

[00:41:25] trying to get a weapon of some kind.

[00:41:29] And before he can strangle her to death,

[00:41:31] Sienna hits Max over the head with a wine bottle.

[00:41:34] Nice.

[00:41:36] Yeah, so we love the mother daughter bonding moment

[00:41:42] and we cut back to the lake

[00:41:44] as we see Sienna's just an ordinary girl now.

[00:41:47] She doesn't care about being a Hollywood actress.

[00:41:50] She just wants to go to school.

[00:41:53] Max, Max, I told you I didn't

[00:41:55] want to get on a camera.

[00:41:56] I don't even think you're out who did was it?

[00:41:59] It was it was fast.

[00:42:00] Okay, it was right.

[00:42:01] He took the pay.

[00:42:02] When so when Mark approached him the first time

[00:42:07] he figured out this guy's going to be a problem.

[00:42:09] So he's playing chess here takes the pictures

[00:42:12] and then plan it up and then when he comes back

[00:42:15] and is like that's when he's like

[00:42:16] I'm going to store this away.

[00:42:18] I know that I have pictures in the back of this guy's car

[00:42:20] at any point in time I can accuse him of being a criminal.

[00:42:22] Bingo bingo.

[00:42:23] Got it.

[00:42:26] And Haley is they're all pressing charges

[00:42:29] like against Max and Haley's going to testify in court

[00:42:32] against him and Sienna decides to give a batting

[00:42:36] and just enjoy here's summer.

[00:42:37] Just be a normal teen for the summer

[00:42:39] until she goes to college.

[00:42:41] I acted like a movie.

[00:42:42] Not to have that.

[00:42:43] I do go shy.

[00:42:44] I'm here.

[00:42:45] We did do it.

[00:42:47] Let's pour it up or put a cork in it.

[00:42:51] Yes, I'm right.

[00:42:52] Yes, that's it.

[00:42:54] Pour it up means we would recommend put a cork in it means

[00:42:57] we would not recommend and I think we start with Dan

[00:42:59] because he hasn't seen the movie.

[00:43:00] So I'm going to pour up Eric or brands Eric

[00:43:03] about that in accent.

[00:43:04] I think so said for most when you get that out of the way

[00:43:07] but I'm putting a cork in this.

[00:43:08] This sounded uncomfortable and that I like

[00:43:11] I did not want to watch it.

[00:43:13] It does sound very precious to the stuff

[00:43:16] that's been going on with quite on the set.

[00:43:18] I've not watched quite on the set.

[00:43:20] I've heard from Brian about it.

[00:43:21] I've heard from Aaron about it.

[00:43:23] I just, it takes but no thanks on this movie

[00:43:27] and yeah, it's a hard pass for me.

[00:43:30] Put a cork in it.

[00:43:31] Okay.

[00:43:32] Brand what do you think him?

[00:43:33] Yeah, it's Ick Factor 970 over here.

[00:43:37] It's Factor 970 out of the South.

[00:43:40] That's really high.

[00:43:40] Yeah, I didn't know.

[00:43:41] You could have said 9.7 but you went 970.

[00:43:44] 970 made me feel Icky.

[00:43:47] Yeah, with just everything.

[00:43:48] Yeah, as Dan said, it's just the time in here.

[00:43:52] Good timing in regards to like,

[00:43:55] hey, this is a hot button issue right now.

[00:43:58] But also like bad timing because it's just like

[00:44:00] really fresh on the mind.

[00:44:02] And like yeah, it's just yeah,

[00:44:04] it wasn't like the fun.

[00:44:06] It wasn't fun like a lot of the other,

[00:44:08] you know, like with murder.

[00:44:10] So no murder, no murder.

[00:44:14] No one talking murder?

[00:44:16] No one, you know, putting a bunch of housewives out

[00:44:21] and the old.

[00:44:22] The good.

[00:44:23] Yeah, you know, you guys put a course in that.

[00:44:26] I mean, come on.

[00:44:27] This though, Ick Factor 970,

[00:44:29] I'm going to put a cork in it,

[00:44:30] although, you know, well done and whatnot,

[00:44:33] but 970.

[00:44:35] So yeah, this movie I think is not made for most of the movies

[00:44:40] we watch and talk about are not made for us in mind.

[00:44:43] But this reminded me of a movie era

[00:44:47] of like the after school special kind of movies.

[00:44:50] So for that reason, I think I'm going to put it up

[00:44:53] because if I was a teen and I was watching this

[00:44:55] and I was in high school,

[00:44:57] this might have made me speak up in that scenario

[00:45:01] where I would be like,

[00:45:02] I've seen this weird kind of stuff happen.

[00:45:04] You know, that's not right.

[00:45:05] And for a teenager,

[00:45:08] this would be a great movie of like a how-to

[00:45:10] of like, okay,

[00:45:12] if I'm in an uncomfortable situation, what do I do?

[00:45:14] Maybe don't go to Hollywood first of all.

[00:45:16] Maybe don't know.

[00:45:18] But also like talent and adult and, you know.

[00:45:22] When your college teacher starts taping the windows shut

[00:45:24] for the breathing exercise, maybe he says yeah.

[00:45:27] Yeah, exactly.

[00:45:29] I also like that.

[00:45:30] For that, I will pour it up.

[00:45:31] And you're right,

[00:45:32] it could have been more campy and more fun,

[00:45:35] but I think if the movie was made with the intentions

[00:45:38] that I think it was,

[00:45:39] I think they succeeded at that.

[00:45:40] But I will say,

[00:45:41] but there were a couple of like Haley

[00:45:45] just kind of being like,

[00:45:48] I'm gonna go to class and like be,

[00:45:51] do a bad performance after basically

[00:45:55] getting away from human trafficking.

[00:45:57] It was a really weird thing to do.

[00:46:00] Like it's obviously supposed to like,

[00:46:02] I guess throw you off at the beginning of the movie,

[00:46:06] but when you find out that this has happened to her.

[00:46:09] Like you would,

[00:46:13] I don't know.

[00:46:14] I obviously, I'm not trying to speak on behalf

[00:46:16] of anybody that has happened to.

[00:46:18] But I would have if Sienna goes to class the next day

[00:46:23] and it's just like,

[00:46:25] Frost, am I right?

[00:46:26] Like what is just like an interesting movie?

[00:46:29] Not just be like this guy's a human trafficker.

[00:46:34] Yeah, yeah.

[00:46:34] Instead, I'm gonna go to class and go Romeo, Romeo.

[00:46:39] Right.

[00:46:40] I think we could have solved it with like,

[00:46:42] instead of just like name dropping like that Haley

[00:46:45] went to testify against and we see that in some type

[00:46:47] of like wrap up mind.

[00:46:48] Right, right.

[00:46:49] Because a little more agency as a character

[00:46:52] as a female,

[00:46:53] in our character.

[00:46:54] They should have just had her not come back to class though.

[00:46:57] Like seeing with her being in class was really weird.

[00:47:01] Knowing what we know about what happened to her.

[00:47:04] Exactly.

[00:47:05] Yeah, but you know theater never stops.

[00:47:07] I've never stopped less true.

[00:47:09] I've missed all my grandparents for you know,

[00:47:11] it was for for shows.

[00:47:12] So all of they have well,

[00:47:15] I went to my grandpa's but I wasn't in the show at the time.

[00:47:17] But I yeah, I've missed all the other.

[00:47:19] So some of them.

[00:47:22] Well, oh, and one my grandma is still alive.

[00:47:24] She's 97.

[00:47:25] Obviously, yeah, shout out to who's that?

[00:47:29] What's her name?

[00:47:30] That's Mama Raquel.

[00:47:31] Mama Raquel shout out.

[00:47:33] I love you.

[00:47:34] So you miss two grandparents funerals with place, right?

[00:47:37] There you go.

[00:47:38] That's six percent of the ones that have passed.

[00:47:40] Okay, yes, of the ones that passed 67%.

[00:47:44] It's a complicated.

[00:47:45] It's complicated.

[00:47:46] But the theater has stopped as the best.

[00:47:48] It's a unique.

[00:47:49] You don't get any biological in adopted and all that stuff you know.

[00:47:54] All right, well now I got no,

[00:47:55] we don't have time.

[00:47:57] Patrick, this has been so much fun.

[00:47:58] Always great to hang out.

[00:48:00] We'll be back tomorrow another one.

[00:48:01] And oh, lifetime on court.com.

[00:48:04] Check out what our keys were doing all the lifetime movies.

[00:48:06] They're there.

[00:48:07] We'll be back tomorrow until then with the first to wish you a Merry Christmas.
