[00:01:17] I gotta be honest everybody just happened, but it's not gonna get any better than that I I have never been more nervous about a synopsis than this movie. Yeah, and I want to apologize in advance you should and Just know I actually am trying
[00:01:38] I'm not doing a bit. I'm trying That is your first inclination that he is doing a bit, I'm not doing a bit I'm not doing a bit. I felt like I tried it's a disclaimer between friends
[00:01:52] Troops and Bran is not trying to offend anyone in the synopsis. I sure I'm not I sure am not Boy hi Merry Christmas Alonso Jax our last Monday episode believe it Monday before Christmas with one week away. Can you believe it? I mean yes and no
[00:02:14] It's you wait forever for to get here and then it's over before you know it. It's always crazy that way Jax are you ready? I feel like we just have so many more movies to review together
[00:02:24] Like there's so many ones that I've seen popping up and like I want to do that with the guys Can you come join us some on Mondays throughout the year? Maybe I would love to I would love nothing more as we anxiously await
[00:02:35] Like oh, I guess that's coming back Calls the hardest coming back is one calls the heart is one calls the heart a summer again So my guess would be summer. I mean, I you know, I mean, we don't have to wait for a ride
[00:02:47] Right got cancelled. So I don't know if it moves up. We hope everyone there found another job Working, of course. I'm just reading the news here. I'm just you've got Ryan back for away home Yeah, yeah, yep
[00:02:59] I best I can understand time travel is a part of that show. Yes, it is We'll see I can't wait to dive into season two episode one and be surprised by something that was given away in the trailer
[00:03:17] Yeah guys we didn't know it was a time traveling water. We're sorry. We didn't know We can do we didn't see the trailer we don't we going blind also if you're keeping score at home This is like day nine of me not having a voice. This is weird
[00:03:30] I did feel like you got you would think I felt like you got a little better a little bit better by like And then somehow the weekend actually made you get worse
[00:03:38] You think with the week and you'd be able to think so but you know, we are I'm just trying to get through Just make it to the tea with honey Daniel. That's right. Yeah, right here. I got you
[00:03:45] Yeah, I've been I've been at it. I call him big tea with honey sometimes. Okay. Well, it's one thing you could call me on air Better than big D with honey. That's true Actually Dated again, we should we called sweet tea who I thought was an adorable nickname
[00:04:05] That is very southern doesn't doesn't yeah, it doesn't describe Dan at all But I could start saying no, I don't know sweet tea with honey. I've never been called that before he is big tea with honey
[00:04:17] You call me that all the time I wish you'd kept that private Listen, listen, I'm not ashamed. I'm not ashamed. I am ashamed about what I'm about to do Here Dila Navidad El Sabor de la navidad close very close Okay
[00:04:43] It originally aired on Vicks November 16th, 2023 and it went a little something like this We first meet Valeria. She is a chef a good one the type of chef that people hire to cook for their Christmas festivities we then meet a married couple Carmela and Vicente
[00:05:07] That gets news that Their daughter is finally coming home for Christmas, but has one special condition Lastly we meet Chava and Santi best buds preparing for a holiday season playing Santas Valeria bumps into a fella named What's his name Alonzo do you know what his name is?
[00:05:33] I gotta pull a little castle Gerrano say I'm gonna go with Gerrano Horano, it's not her air note Hernarro No No, no, no, no, no Okay, thank you he's good with food but
[00:06:02] He wants her to hire him and she says she doesn't need any any help in the kitchen She's good, but he strikes a deal a one-day trial if I'm good I'll come back if not. You'll never see me again naturally they hit it off great
[00:06:16] He's good and whatnot and He starts to open up to her and all that good stuff now Carmela and Vicente Have three daughters two of them. They're still like close to one of them has not been home for four years
[00:06:29] She is coming home this holiday season the condition is she gets to bring a friend a special friend a condition that annoys Carmela because it's something different, but what can you do? and Hernarro Hennarro is basically
[00:06:46] Continuously shooting a shot with Valeria basically inviting her to spend Christmas with him and but she's all business She's like gotta focus on the craft here Carmela is very much averse to any sort of change when it comes to Christmas even if it just includes a
[00:07:01] Christmas karaoke on a big screen, which I personally think she's wrong for I think Christmas karaoke She'll be a part of everybody's holiday tradition So the two Santas are at this Christmas market with multiple Santas
[00:07:14] It's very like competitive and Santas are doing different things to try to get people to come visit them Including Santy who performs an absolute banger complete with dancers
[00:07:26] He gets a some press about it and Chava is upset because the only reason he has this gig is because of him Valeria finally asked Hernarro Why he's wanting to cook with her and he explains that he you know has spent some time in some fancy
[00:07:45] Restaurants and all that but he lost the love for cooking and watching her cook inspires him after days of working together Valeria and Hernarro have gotten close So he decides to pitch an idea of opening a spot selling her goods
[00:08:00] To try to make some more money and he can be a part of that and he admits that he sought her out With the intention of basically making this pitch She feels like she's been lied to and that he was only flirting with her telling her that
[00:08:14] She she has a beautiful smile and all that stuff Just to kind of butter her up to make her more likely to say yes in this pitch not thrilled with him Chava Forms a group of other Santas that perform their own songs
[00:08:29] Santies dancers come up with an idea to get the attention back on them, which is to shoot off Like firecrackers and fireworks up during their performance to basically scare everybody away from their Singing Sandy's not interested in this idea. He doesn't want to ruin
[00:08:46] The success of his body so he quits. He says I'm out. It's Christmas Eve the a strange daughter Bray rings the doorbell her name is Penelope and Carmella is clearly overwhelmed with feelings
[00:09:00] It turns out Penelope is a trans woman and the entire family is supportive of this but Carmella is Trying to be as supportive as the rest of the family But when Penelope asked to see a woman who's worked for the family for forever
[00:09:14] Carmella says not and not here. She's not here and she's like yeah, she is it turns out. She's like no She won't understand Who you are and she says I'm just gonna go anyways
[00:09:24] And it turns out that this person is incredibly supportive and understanding which takes Carmella by surprise despite Santi quitting The fireworks still go off shot Shava blames him and a complete Santa Brawl erupts Valeria is running crazy late with the food
[00:09:43] She's driving like crazy then her car breaks down right in front of the Santa Brawl she runs over to break it up and Tries to see if anybody knows how to work on cars
[00:09:54] So Shava does and comes over and bases. I is this is no good, but hop in my car We'll get you to where you need to go They they get in the car and it gives time for the Santas to make up and then she tells her
[00:10:08] I don't know that she is having a she has a hard time trusting people But she wants to work on that she wants to believe the best and that is when he admits that he took a picture of her recipe book This does not go well
[00:10:21] She throws his phone out the window and he's like I'm really sorry. I feel awful about it I'm mad about you all of this stuff back at the family Christmas Penelope announces that she and Luna her guest
[00:10:34] Are going to get married next year and that is when mom Goes off and business as see I knew that you would regret your surgery and all the work that you did just to end up with a
[00:10:44] Woman and Luna says I don't want to be with a man I want to be with Penelope and Penelope says that she and Luna should just go ahead and leave Carmella realizes now that she's done goofed
[00:10:56] She does feel bad about this and doesn't know what to do just then the food arrives And as Penelope is about to leave Carmella comes out and sings the song Penelope To Penelope and Penelope comes over to join her in the karaoke and she agrees to stay Valeria
[00:11:13] Valeria and Harnar no Bakeup what I'm trying. Can you please? They make up the best that they can and they do stick around for dinner to the family All has dinner together and they take a family picture and that my friends was
[00:11:36] Got I got a little tripped up there at the end with everyone saying We did it everybody we did it. We're gonna take a quick break. We come back We're gonna break this movie down with four segments here on deck the hallmark
[00:11:58] Hello, hello. Hello. You did an admirable job. Thank you getting through it. Thank you And a lot of storylines Well, it was honestly my worst nightmare Yeah having to write a synopsis based only on subtitles with more than one storyline
[00:12:12] Had my work cut out for me. You couldn't just listen to they couldn't just listen to me Really had to focus in on those words and you know reading for me Let's dive into this movie. We're gonna start with a hot take
[00:12:23] I'll start with you jacks jacks. What'd you think? So, Bran, I said this to you during the double-decker dinner, but This is relevant to my review. I promise Sometimes I sit here and I act like Alonzo and Dan like I know what they're talking about
[00:12:41] When they're teasing you even though I don't so because it's Christmas and at Christmas you tell the truth When this movie started and I saw that it was subtitled I was scared You guys I took Spanish in high school. I visited Nicaragua. I spent some time in Guatemala
[00:13:02] But I don't I can't even remember the last time I watched a movie with subtitles So when it started I was really nervous. I even texted of course just brand being like I This right let's go live to Alonzo dying slowly as he
[00:13:20] Watched a movie with subtitles since God knows when what? Just thinking about the the one inch hurdle of subtitles as the director of parasite put it on during the Oscars, right? But it's a America guys if you can believe it like languages that are not English
[00:13:39] Yeah, that's right. No guys. I believe it. That's the thing. I'm ashamed. I'm ashamed but I also feel like I should be honest, but I will say this this movie I Don't think I've cried harder in a movie
[00:13:55] And I think this was the sexiest movie of the year. Okay, and also and also the most emotional We'll get into it in all the fields, but I'll say that I was extremely Intrigued and interested in Valeria and Penelope storylines
[00:14:09] I was less enthralled with the Santa's like they were cute. It was but it's like buddy comedy that like I feel like I'm sort of Used to and it was fun, but it wasn't anything it wasn't reinventing the wheel but I absolutely
[00:14:23] Was so charmed and invested in Valeria and Penelope and their stories And I love how it all came together at the end. I was wondering how and if that was going to happen So this one was a big it was a Mui-bian. Yeah, nice. Well done
[00:14:41] Alonso what'd you think? I'm so impressed with this because I think especially in the post love actually era that we are living in People love to make these movies with a lot of characters and then slowly unfold how they were connected this whole time
[00:14:57] And here I like the fact that we have a bunch of characters who are not connected But then are because of Christmas and because of how they're sort of brought together by circumstances So I like that
[00:15:08] While I agree with Jax that the the Valeria and Penelope storylines are the strongest ones I think that you could make a movie about all three of these storylines separately And that's impressive too because I think a lot of times get these ones
[00:15:22] They just don't kind of hold their own weight, but yeah just funny and emotional and Christmasy and culturally specific and Yummy food porn. I was here for all of it. I really really loved it
[00:15:35] I agree with everything that's been said is a fantastic movie and I knew nothing about this movie going into it and so You just you find yourself Obviously because of the subtitles I found myself paying attention extra Because I'm trying to write a synopsis
[00:15:52] But also just each of the storylines were so interesting and I was just excited to see where they all went a great movie a really great and I'd be intrigued to see like how Hallmark would deal with a Movie like this or story line like this
[00:16:11] And I think it might become in one of these days, but a really really well done and showing the complexity of people and how how everybody is just All all kind of doing their own thing and then Christmas kind of brings it brings it all together
[00:16:27] I thought it was great thought it was great. Dano. Yeah, we make a lot of crazy comparisons on this show Jimmy Stewart being the Jim Carrey of his generation. It's not crazy I think Alonzo did compare one of our movies to Casablanca or Citizen Kane or something because
[00:16:40] I Felt very similar in this movie to how I felt when I watched the film that million dollar baby Million dollar baby is a movie about a boxer it seems like a very classic tale where a boxer is gonna rise up and
[00:16:55] Do great things and conquer the odds and it takes a just 90 degree turn And it's a completely different movie that leaves you with a lot to think about and You're just impressed with kind of how it was all put together
[00:17:08] This movie is fantastic. The movie I thought we were getting is Valeria hasn't spoken to her mom in four years and she's Cooking dinner for her mom and she's gonna go home and and Naro is gonna bring the food in
[00:17:23] She's gonna come in they're gonna eat the food is gonna be all of her mom's mom's recipes She's gonna taste all this food Everybody's gonna cry and say they're sorry and I'm like I was glued guys. I was glued to the television
[00:17:36] I was like this is gonna slap so hard because they've set it up perfectly The chemistry is there the characters are there and then all of a sudden That's not it. That's not even close to it and what we're left with is a better movie than that
[00:17:51] It's a better movie a more authentic movie dealing with characters in very difficult spots Showcasing what it looks like to fail forward all kinds of great things to say about this movie. It's fantastic
[00:18:03] It's one of the best of the year and better than I thought it was gonna be even halfway through It's time for all the fields we're talking about what gave us those feels jacks Okay, I'm getting very choked up already. I'm gonna try and get through it but
[00:18:17] when Penelope comes home and you know, she says the exciting news that she's engaged to Luna and her mom's Reaction I thought that it was it was so brilliantly done in the sense that You actually see her mom
[00:18:39] Struggling to understand who she is and just being like well, why did you put yourself through all that and I knew it? I knew it because it's clear that This has been a real shift for her mom like having to say goodbye
[00:18:51] her mom has had to say goodbye in a sense to her son and And as Penelope's taken on, you know become the woman that she is and probably always has been and when Penelope says the line about
[00:19:08] Like I don't need you to understand me. I just need you to accept me I thought you know, just also how giving and loving that is like You know, I think understanding wanting to be understood is something that I think a lot of people crave
[00:19:22] But it's like she's already done so much of her Internal work and she's even passed that point and when her mom came out singing the song and and they hugged I was I was I
[00:19:36] Miss you guys it was it was just it was really really beautiful. It was and you know, Brian I know you we're talking about Will we see this from Hallmark someday? I think we will and I hope we will
[00:19:47] But I think it'll be done with less nuance and stuff It'll be more like The out now big it the out now like that's right here. I don't think we're gonna this was You know, of course, I was mad at her mom too
[00:20:00] But I it was it was just there was so much humanity It was so brilliant and then I think my other big feel was the almost kiss in the kitchen So good this movie
[00:20:16] There were so many feels all the way through it just it was exactly how I needed to end the season with you guys It was so great Alonzo any feels
[00:20:25] Yeah, for sure. I mean the Penelope arc, you know, the the mother's flashback Penelope's arrival at the house the mother like Saying the absolutely wrong thing but in a way that wasn't like, you know, it is that thing I think a lot of times where
[00:20:42] Even after you you come out and you get through that hurdle and your family Or your friends are understanding and accepting They don't always entirely get it all the way and you there's these moments along the way where you have to like
[00:20:56] No, actually this, you know and and and so that was very true to life The the karaoke, you know bringing that back was yeah, I too was a sobbing mess on the sofa I love the Valeria arc
[00:21:10] I think she's such a great prickly character and has reason to be prickly and And and and how she's so good at her job But like so reserved because if she's been hurt in the past and the way all that is is resolved
[00:21:24] And I think I thought the Santa brawl was funny and I think that it kind of It's an interesting contrast to other things that are going on in this movie. So yeah a lot of feels the Santa brawl
[00:21:34] Was so loony bins for the rest of this movie. Yeah, like it was such like a like what like I was laughing I was laughing but I didn't see it coming in this movie. Yeah 100%
[00:21:44] Yeah, I mean Jack's nailed it nailed it like this scene is amazing and just showing the power of When you do make a mistake acknowledging that mistake and trying to fail forward
[00:22:00] Is beautiful and something that especially I think Dan and I growing up in the south and growing up in the conservative Christian faith and being taught something and then meeting people and realize that the thinking through like how like What do I actually believe?
[00:22:17] How do I want to response what type of person do I want to be and Of course, there's mistakes made along the way But the beauty showcased in this movie is when that does happen You don't just give up and go there's nothing like she does at first
[00:22:31] Say what can I do and then she decides I'm gonna do something. I'm going to I'm going to take the step Forward and I try to make this right and I think there's there's beauty there and you see that in Penelope's response to her mom
[00:22:43] That she's just taken back by by Just the beauty of saying hey, I done goofed like there's power in that. You know, yeah, you nailed it Bran, I don't have to put too fine a point on it I think for both of us
[00:22:55] I know you see a movie like this and you see what happens and then you see the reconciliation like I Can I can cringe at some things? I said when I was a teenager and when I was in my 20s that I like desperately want back
[00:23:06] And I think the best apology is to is to be better the best of poly you know change behaviors the best apology and Loving people for really ours the best apology failing forwards the best apology and so That was a great scene
[00:23:19] You guys all said and I will say because it needs to be said this food looked amazing Look like we're gonna save a rica like it looked really really good. He said it like it was I don't know what a
[00:23:31] Buonuelo is that how you say that? How do you say that? What yellow it's a like a donut essentially Look phenomenal and I wanted to eat a thousand Alonzo I did get like a little bit lost in the what he was wanting to do with that
[00:23:47] Was he just I want to open a bakery basically. Yeah a donut Yeah, okay got with the grandma's recipe. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah Yeah Great, yeah, it did look great and when she brings him over to the the Santas He's like see see It's great
[00:24:07] All right, let's take a quick break. We'll come back with the way what's in the what the hallmarks or what the what? Vixen vixen and I don't know anyway, but that's all markets. What I've tried to say Hang on I need 10 seconds Welcome back Alonzo needs 10 seconds
[00:24:32] He's opening the door this if you're watching follow that TV You're getting a show. This is very exciting. This is very exciting Dave Dave's coming in you guys thought that you were done with Dave this season
[00:24:47] You're not done with Dave this season just keeps getting better alongs was coming back and there's a lot of Wow I made the mistake of locking the door and gave the door keys he left the house for the first amazing
[00:25:02] How about that? Here's how good of a caretaker you are Alonzo. What happened? Drop the ball Wait what so we're talking about one this maybe just go wait what Jax Um, just just really two Ones for me and I and I watched it back twice
[00:25:23] And maybe I just like didn't hear correctly, but when he talks about it being a Freudian slip I didn't hear him say Freud's name So I was like what is the translation on this and I was like wondering if something was actually Literally getting lost in translation there
[00:25:40] So I just had it I was curious about that and then my other weight what is is not a traditional one It's just more like Carmella Penelope's mom is Carmella. Oh, right Right after we have this really and I think it's perfect for the movie
[00:25:54] But right after we have this really emotional scene with Penelope and singing the song and they're hugging and then she's like at least I Have one daughter that dresses well now I was like I love that this mom has always
[00:26:07] Say stuff wrong. It's a lot more lighthearted and funny But you know, she's gonna be there's gonna be a lot of rupture and repair over the the this life cycle this family
[00:26:16] And hopefully it will be in not such deep ways, but that made me laugh so hard. It was like yes She's she's getting there. Yeah. Yeah, Alonzo anyway, what's I mean, yeah Really the only one I noticed was you know that there's a recurring device where every day
[00:26:31] They're opening an advent calendar to let you know the passage of time and they're opening them in miracle order and Like they should I was just shocked because you know, I've been listening to Christmas morning and apparently you're supposed to count down
[00:26:46] I think it just depends on the calendar. I think it's like a normal human beings on the calendar I think you made that up. Yeah, I wrote. I literally wrote it down. I was like, hey look They're counting up like a normal Oh Yeah
[00:27:07] I just I've had calendars is all I'm saying Where the biggest is I'm just I'm just saying is all I'm just saying is all Just saying is all I got a couple Boy, I've got a couple one apparently Santa is there from 4 p.m. To 10 p.m
[00:27:27] What kids are popping over there at 8 o'clock For a little Santa time if an interesting time timeline for Santa to be available for the children 4 p.m. To 10 p.m They're preparing This meal thanks to the calendar we know for like five days straight
[00:27:46] I know like this if I made anything more than like, I don't know 30 minutes ago It's gonna go to waste is just trash at that point what what what was stuff has to simmer
[00:27:56] Yeah, like what type what was the the timeline of how how does she decide what the stuff that's gonna be made? You know on the 20th versus the 24th and how does all of that kind of line up?
[00:28:06] I don't know it wouldn't work for me, but I'm she's to she's the fancy chef So I'm sure she's got to figure it out last but not least They're like she's nervous about being able to get all the food in the van
[00:28:19] I'm nervous about how they got all the food from the van into that small blue car I Just it's just like jam packed in the trunk. I don't know but they did she was she they packed five
[00:28:32] Families worth of meals into the van, but only one family's work okay the blue car alright They delivered all the other ones alright as as for 10 p.m. Santa saw him live I've never been to Mexico City, but I will I know that in Spain
[00:28:48] Everything is late there They have like if you go to a restaurant for dinner at nine They're literally just putting the glasses on the table early And is where it really gets rolling as far as they got that siesta man
[00:29:03] I would that two hour midday and the really strong coffee. Yeah Yeah, I can't do it five p.m. I'm gonna run like what are we eating like Yeah, come on, uh, Dano called lunch in Spain We should all just be on one time zone
[00:29:20] Then we would all be eating at the same time that fixes anything If you think about I don't think it does but that's okay This may be a white one just for me and my inquisitive How I tackle Santa self
[00:29:33] But as a kid if you told me there are multiple Santas and I'm supposed to pick out the real one That's gonna raise more questions than it does So you mean to tell me that my city of every city in the world has 12 imposters and a real Santa
[00:29:49] I think you're tempting fate here with the children is all I'm saying they're not what my mom told me They're not imposters. They're his helpers. Yeah, well in this movie. They pretty much say
[00:30:02] The real one they pretty much because it's kind of hilarious like oh you didn't get the gifts you wanted Well, I guess you yeah, I guess that's all you pick the wrong nice little Santa is like vindictive you didn't pick me you're getting trash
[00:30:16] Pitter on the kid. What is it child abuse if you're using Santa to make your kids behave and then blame Santa when they don't get The gifts What point are we calling child services guys? I'm just asking for a friend because it's not for me
[00:30:27] We're gonna get a web of gas. It's absurd There is a dude carrying what it says on the box is a 50 inch TV in this movie and it may weigh an ounce He may as well be spinning that thing on his finger
[00:30:39] He's like just going through doors with it like it's nothing like it's like a coffee cup But ginormous in these movies and it's so obvious. It's like it's the classic empty TV box trope
[00:30:52] Yeah, if it's a TV box, we're gonna notice. That's a little bit different and then I I had a hard time with this dude taking a picture of the recipe
[00:31:03] I felt like by that point in the movie and I don't know if this is a way what or just I didn't think his character would do that I couldn't I was shocked that he did it after all they had been through in that five days
[00:31:14] I couldn't believe that he took a picture of the recipe. It did not seem in line with his character Maybe I'm just wrong. It's all I got It's time for What the homework? Vix or treat Vix or treat We wonder what kind of misses
[00:31:32] We're just we want a chance with Vix There you go. There you go. I got questions. Let's talk about them. Jacks. What are you still wondering about? You know, I just think that The way that I Felt connected to these characters
[00:31:49] It felt very much to me like it would be a TV series Like I'd want to follow them and then I would love to see the movie of Luna and Penelope
[00:31:58] Getting married and Valeria catering the wedding and then our Sanchez or DJing or doing God knows what they can be there too But I I was completely charmed by this movie and it also really made me think about how I hope Hallmark and other made for TV movies
[00:32:19] Grow like when we were talking about Valeria's being prickly a lot of times when you see that in a lead in A rom-com it seems like put on but it was so in her and like it's not like our whole character changed over the movie
[00:32:35] But it was so it was so much more satisfying and real and I Want more of that in this movie really helped me realize that I want more of that and that I should have watched More movies Love it Let that be your takeaway
[00:32:53] mind kind of parallels with With Jack's and that you know like some a high egg Pinot produced this movie and Surely it has not escaped her the possibility of there being an English language remake for American television or cinema And so my mind just started
[00:33:12] Jumping to the place of like how are they gonna screw this up? Yeah And so if there is a remake I hope that it is handled with the delicacy and the wit and the charm and the
[00:33:26] Yumminess of this film. I think you can pick two of those adjectives. That's the most you can ask for Probably yeah, I'm sure you know again things will get lost in translation I'll take those Live in hope
[00:33:41] Mine is so good the Santa picked the right real Santa whatever is there like a cash prize For be be getting the most votes or whatever because if not they have wasted so much money on fireworks
[00:33:56] I think they're getting money per photo and they're getting money for so there That's the whole goal is to get the money a photo you get paid I don't know I just want in front of the Chinese theater. How does it?
[00:34:04] I'm just that's there was a lot of fireworks power there They obviously spent some money and then that's the end of their season like there I must like they did it. There's a brawl. I guess that's it so
[00:34:16] There I think they're out some money are they out some money here who knows Dana mine is similar to Jackson Alonso But I as soon as I finished watching this I was like considering who produced this movie
[00:34:24] How did it wind up on Vix not that Vix isn't a big deal? But here in the States like it was hard to find and get a hold of unless you got a new service
[00:34:31] And then I realized probably the content is why it was on Vix is Hallmark still isn't making a movie like this And so my hope is that they just try I don't know if I want to remake at this one
[00:34:44] But my hope is we can use this as something to say look we even added more Representation look how good it went look how great it was done and this can hopefully be a blueprint for the expansion of the net and inclusion and just good movies because
[00:35:01] Jack's you're 100% right like You can have a character like Valeria and still pull for her it takes good writing and good acting but you can do it and Valeria showed that in this movie
[00:35:13] So I would love to see this gain some traction and and reach a wide audience and hopefully Begat more films like it here in the space Begat indeed character like Valeria character like Penelope or Carmella. Who did you mean?
[00:35:28] I was talking about Valeria being prickly, but I'm all obviously Penelope that character for sure For sure that whole storyline is the main crux of this But from a standpoint of having a protagonist that isn't always like sunshine rainbows
[00:35:42] We don't even they don't like we try to do that last weekend. It was a disaster on Hallmark So, you know like I'm just trying to get there. Yeah, you can you can be prickly without
[00:35:52] Having the wide swings of just freaking out trees. I don't do Christmas trees. You should have known that Right Relax, we did everybody congratulations We we checked out a lot of different networks and we didn't even really scratch the surface and so we'll be back in 2024 Every Monday
