[00:03:22] They'll give me a little something that's exactly right right so excited a to talk about everything puppies a movie that

[00:03:32] Yes, you're right about that um and I think what is most important about this movie is it definitely wasn't

[00:03:39] You know added last minute or like it definitely seemed like one that Hallmark

[00:03:45] Put a lot of thought and energy. Oh, yeah

[00:03:49] For years and you don't always say things that are funny

[00:03:53] But when you said that Hallmark forgets about May I've not forgotten it. I was watching this movie going

[00:04:00] Rans right now Hallmark forgot about May you see the Johnson logo pop up in the first few seconds you go ah it's May

[00:04:07] It's Megan still may still may it's gonna be May and speaking of May

[00:04:12] May you come to Bravo fest yes you may

[00:04:33] The new podcast that sweeping the nation the diss list

[00:04:37] Might make an appearance at Bramble fest well. I heard look

[00:04:41] It's just a rumor after only two episodes not be confirmed

[00:04:45] People are loving the diss list and there's a chance

[00:04:48] Might be alive when at the fest. I don't want to

[00:04:52] Promise it. No we wouldn't do that, but there's at least have you heard that scuttlebutt? I haven't heard that man

[00:04:57] Yeah, it's true. I haven't heard that either maybe falling for basketball finally get something I've heard

[00:05:04] July not an opportune time in July to talk about basketball. What's going on the bubble?

[00:05:08] Maybe we'll talk about a little we could talk about we do a quick rap on an Olympic basketball

[00:05:11] Maybe in July yeah that Olympics going on again in July

[00:05:16] Reese's medals were out. That's all I know oh you said it by the Eagles

[00:05:20] Think it's August all right

[00:05:23] So we don't have to compete with that is what you feel of course you planned it that way

[00:05:28] Yes, one time about everything puppies. Yeah, no

[00:05:34] Puppies originally aired on Hallmark Channel on May 18

[00:05:39] 2024 and I went a little something in the movie is puppies like this

[00:05:45] So many good boys

[00:05:47] So many puppies everything puppies all the time you need scarlet

[00:05:52] Scarlet's working on her own dog treats and the puppies love these every dog treats

[00:05:59] Yeah, they're gonna be the healthiest most delicious dog treats on the market, but she's gonna need some help

[00:06:05] so she goes to her friend Gina who runs a pet store apparently scarlet has pitched lots of

[00:06:12] Different pet inventions over the years and none of them have quite taken off

[00:06:18] Gina reluctantly agrees to help her pitch these treats after

[00:06:22] Seeing how much the pop poppers love them Gina comes up with a name. It's pups palette

[00:06:29] It's fine

[00:06:31] They take

[00:06:33] They take him no when does that come in it doesn't what?

[00:06:36] They take them out to try to get other stores to carry these these little treats

[00:06:44] No after a no after no we don't want your treats

[00:06:48] Where we are time that there's not enough space on the old store store front

[00:06:54] Store shelves, thank you so much

[00:06:56] The markets too saturated by pup Chuck

[00:06:59] Even though apparently their products aren't really a hit with dogs so pup Chuck

[00:07:05] Runs the world dogs don't like it. That's right. It was a good joke. There's one more store to try

[00:07:11] It's the paws and wellness Emporium mr.. Mr.. Emporium is one mister

[00:07:18] They go to talk to the manager Alex and Alex is a honk

[00:07:25] Scarlet is a bit frazzled by him and accidentally knocks birdseed everywhere

[00:07:30] Alex those puppies every no everything everything poppies where birdseed that's right

[00:07:38] Everything puppies everywhere birds you're getting it Alex says that he's gonna try

[00:07:43] Them on his own dog Mosey like Mosey about and if Mosey likes them

[00:07:49] Then he'll give the the treats a shot

[00:07:52] We find out that the crew at pup Chuck is gonna raise their prices a little bit and get the profits even higher

[00:07:58] Can you believe that here America's messed up man?

[00:08:01] So Alex tries them on his own dog and Mosey loves these treats so the next day. He's at a shop and

[00:08:08] He is annoyed by how much pup Chuck they sell so he calls her up and says I would like a hundred boxes

[00:08:14] And she foolishly says she's gonna get him to him by tomorrow

[00:08:19] Which she does actually it is

[00:08:21] So

[00:08:24] So

[00:08:26] He has to meet up for coffee the next day, and they are clearly into each other

[00:08:31] He tells her that he wants to double his last order and get her to pitch it to the regional manager

[00:08:37] It's just a to then they go rock climbing

[00:08:42] together and she

[00:08:44] Actually ends up

[00:08:46] Like really enjoying it even though she's all work all the time. That's definitely the vibe you get from her early on in the movie

[00:08:53] She is all work all the time and he gets his boss to agree to hear the pitch

[00:08:57] And but she and Alex have a bit of a past together

[00:09:00] So maybe that'll get in the way a little bit

[00:09:03] I don't I don't know the next day they bump into each other at a dog park and end up going to a movie together

[00:09:09] When she sees her responding to an email on her phone. He's like

[00:09:14] Hey, baby girl put that away work-life balance is everything you want to move by this guy

[00:09:22] And she's like, okay

[00:09:24] She goes to pitch to the regional manager and it actually goes well. She agrees to trial it at a third of the stores

[00:09:30] In her region so many stores in this region

[00:09:34] But when the pup truck guy finds out about this he comes in and threatens her

[00:09:39] Because apparently pup truck is funded by this other company that is very important to the Emporium

[00:09:48] so

[00:09:49] Don't mess with us man is basically what he's trying to say

[00:09:53] So she goes to talk to Alex and tells him to pull all the treats and she's canceling the order

[00:09:59] When Michelle that's her name calls to tell Scarlett. She goes to tell Alex off. It's like hey, I trusted you

[00:10:07] Now look at what you you done Gina comes up with an idea

[00:10:12] Set up a booth outside of the Emporium and show that puppies like her treats over pup Chuck

[00:10:19] Alex records to taste test to try to show it to corporate. She sends it to Michelle and Michelle's like

[00:10:27] Go show it to corporate yourself

[00:10:29] Their booth does get shut down because the fact that he did send that video to Michelle

[00:10:33] So she assumes that Alex just tattled on

[00:10:39] Tattle tale dog tail everything puppies so when he goes

[00:10:44] So when he goes to talk to her so when he goes to talk to her later that night she does it

[00:10:52] So what you got when he goes to talk to her later that night?

[00:10:55] She doesn't want to hear it. Hey bud, and they kind of like are mean to each other for like no reason really

[00:11:02] He goes to talk to her dad

[00:11:05] again, I don't know really how it happened and

[00:11:08] Asked hey one

[00:11:10] Could you help me talk to her?

[00:11:12] Could you help me talk to her and then he's also is just like hey, I do want you to know I'm

[00:11:17] Really into your daughter. He's like, I don't know why you're telling me this

[00:11:20] I'll tell you why though. It's cuz she's listening around the corner and she pops out and says

[00:11:26] Maybe maybe I will give this another try and they come up with a plan

[00:11:31] Of how they're gonna save the company they're gonna storm the

[00:11:35] conference room and

[00:11:37] They're gonna storm the conference room and they're gonna convince the CEO to go all in on her treats

[00:11:43] How are they gonna do that you ask I'll tell you they put her in a mascot costume

[00:11:47] They walk in there and then at the same time a video goes viral of the taste testing

[00:11:56] situation

[00:11:57] Yeah, and everybody

[00:11:59] Everybody in the conference room watches the video and they're like, well, this is all we need to see they decide. Okay, great

[00:12:05] We're gonna give you a shot pop Chuck then comes in and

[00:12:09] Is like hey, we want to buy your company

[00:12:12] But when she finds out that they would have the right to change her recipe she says no deal. Mr

[00:12:18] Pop Chuck and then he dies

[00:12:21] Yeah, unfortunately, we never see him again. It's a briefcase. I understand. Yes

[00:12:26] She gets a briefcase and settlement. Yeah

[00:12:28] Also a fun fact there Alex and Scarlett are engaged

[00:12:36] The treats are selling like hotcakes and they celebrate with another movie night and there's puppies everywhere

[00:12:51] Let's take a quick break we'll come back and we'll break this movie down here on

[00:14:40] You don't get those numbers

[00:14:42] But I do I do by understand by proxy we get a lot of dog. We don't get the dog numbers in we don't okay

[00:14:48] I'm a proxy from rough at rough rough net

[00:14:50] They

[00:14:52] It is mostly just random keystrokes. It sounds like a lot of dog occasionally. I'll make out something like numbers are good

[00:14:59] And those are all dogs or I think so I mean

[00:15:04] At rough rough net yes, Oh rough him

[00:15:07] himself

[00:15:11] Hello, I can't hear you as well until the cameras move

[00:15:21] On have you been sending the emails you have been okay, I'm gonna take that as a yes our numbers good

[00:15:29] They're okay

[00:15:31] Okay, what can we do to make them better?

[00:15:34] more dog mentions

[00:15:36] and treats

[00:15:39] Tennis balls yeah, okay dog dog bridges treats and tennis balls. What is like your big criticism of the show rough?

[00:15:46] Yeah, Brian's not great. I think you and I've said that we've been talking about the glad it's coming across

[00:15:54] Yeah, no Brian doesn't great. I don't disagree that either rough Brian is I mean he looks good

[00:16:00] Dan is sardonic Lee funny

[00:16:06] Yeah, yeah, but Brandon's the you know I agree I agree. Thank you rough. I appreciate that excellent. Yeah

[00:16:12] Yeah, thank you. Thank you

[00:16:16] We're gonna have to come

[00:16:22] My gosh yep, somebody strangling rough. I hate that dragon

[00:16:33] I've been trying to get a win them over for years, and it's just nothing I can do more treats and tennis balls

[00:16:37] I found that out. Let's talk about everything puppies

[00:16:41] We're gonna start with a hot tag we're gonna show exactly how he felt about this movie and

[00:16:46] We're gonna start with Brian who is wearing a dog shirt sure am those of you that are watching on file a file at us DTH

[00:16:52] Yeah, first of all tell us about your dogs my dog shirt. Yep my dog shirt in memoriam of

[00:16:59] Obviously a little puppy Jack left us this year, but forever in our on our shirts and our hearts

[00:17:05] He made forever on our shirt. Yeah forever our shirts in our hearts

[00:17:09] This may be miss little puppy Jack a little bit all the dogs running around I haven't you know usually I got a dog who

[00:17:14] He used to watch the TV and dog noises would get him going a little bit

[00:17:17] He'd be looking at the TV as he got older

[00:17:20] He would just kind of lay and not hear the noises, but I thought he'd enjoy he'd enjoy seeing some dogs on screen

[00:17:27] But oh I feel like the first thing we gotta say is like first of all just adopt and stop breeding

[00:17:33] Yeah, let's get that out of the way better. Yeah, absolutely

[00:17:36] Let's knock it all mark would never have done this movie

[00:17:38] Are you kidding me with this old hallmark would have never done a purebred dog movie? Yeah, no I can't

[00:17:44] But I literally can't believe they're out here with breeders being like they're the good guy happy the dog is rolling in his grave

[00:17:52] Yeah

[00:17:55] To a brain cause that mangey much

[00:17:58] One

[00:18:00] One time one time lives forever so obviously do that instead stop breeding

[00:18:06] Anybody can make a dog treat a healthy dog tree. Yes. There's a reason that all dog treats aren't healthy dog treats

[00:18:13] Yeah, it's because of big business

[00:18:15] It's not gonna happen. I didn't really have a great time with this one. Well, I'm fortunate

[00:18:22] I don't think it was I don't think we needed that

[00:18:25] We needed it in the sense that we forgot about May

[00:18:29] Put something up there we got a

[00:18:32] It could have been worse, but it could have been a lot. How did it have been worse like?

[00:18:38] Fewer dogs maybe would have been

[00:18:40] Everything puppies and there's no puppies then that would be worse

[00:18:43] I thought when they early on introduced the big big dog treat guy company

[00:18:48] I thought this could be fun if he's coming down on him the whole time and like

[00:18:53] This is sort of like a ridiculous take on big dog treat coming at little guy that could be fun

[00:18:59] But it was a ridiculous take on big dog tree. Yes. Oh, yeah, but it wasn't as

[00:19:05] Yeah, they're talking about ingredients near the beginning I'm like this is gonna be fun. Yeah, he's gonna go shows me in the whole

[00:19:11] Bit yes, and it just wasn't they didn't really go back to that before we hear from any breeders

[00:19:16] Who are gonna message us just so you know beforehand? I think you're wrong

[00:19:20] Yeah

[00:19:24] Need a home there, let's just check that out first so yeah, I just feel like there's other ways to go could have been funnier

[00:19:31] Good amount of dogs though glad to see the dogs getting all the treats

[00:19:35] That's that's about you thought some adults were gonna get some treats. No don't treat. I guess

[00:19:41] So yeah, no dog she probably it seems like she would love these

[00:19:45] Sure yeah sure I

[00:19:48] Liked it

[00:19:50] Had a good time one boy love the puppies

[00:19:55] so great I

[00:19:59] Thoroughly enjoy movies yes, but also

[00:20:03] But also I really liked that we got you know the bad business that oftentimes in these movies is like oh no the bad business

[00:20:11] Is swooping in and then like you you get a little something and then by the end

[00:20:15] It's that you know how it's all gonna shake out

[00:20:17] We got a good bit of bad of bad guy here bad business guy, and I like that

[00:20:23] I thought that was nice

[00:20:24] I thought that was where they introduced him pretty early

[00:20:26] And he's like talking to Michelle and he's like I liked all that I thought that was good

[00:20:31] there are a lot there's a lot of

[00:20:35] You know what I maybe not the best performances

[00:20:38] I don't think we're not gonna get maybe this isn't gonna win any decade awards

[00:20:42] You don't think this is gonna make the cut for most dogs, maybe

[00:20:46] You know what it was good to be in a pet store and not in the great outdoors. No not in the woods of

[00:20:54] Big Johnson's I

[00:20:56] Yeah, I liked it. I thought it was I thought it was a an overall a good time Dan

[00:21:01] God this movie is terrible um if it's not the worst of the year it has last week's to compete with

[00:21:08] I

[00:21:10] Know I hear you buddy, and I know I know what you're saying, and I get it and I you're wonderful

[00:21:15] You need to hear that first okay, and I love the email address, and I'm starting to get

[00:21:21] To where I can that's a good boy. He's a good boy. He is who's a good boy

[00:21:29] Somebody do we call somebody rough

[00:21:39] There yeah

[00:21:41] Don't have good laughs typically the yours um

[00:21:45] listen this movie is

[00:21:48] Atrocious, and it's so bad because it doesn't really make much sense

[00:21:53] On a number of fronts the movie doesn't make much sense

[00:21:57] Pet food stores how many there are how they operate how a treat is made down to the basic bare-bones

[00:22:05] minimum which is

[00:22:06] Most dogs don't care what treat you give them now

[00:22:10] I gotta I got one that really does that is very picky, but most dogs are

[00:22:16] Garbage disposals they will drink out of your toilets. They will lick the floor and they will eat your trash

[00:22:22] You're not going to take the world by storm with your organic dog treat

[00:22:26] It's just not gonna happen, and I think the problem is is making a movie

[00:22:32] Where there's one there's two companies in this movie one big bad pet company and one upstart

[00:22:39] To you know two ovens in her office making organic treats and nobody else exists

[00:22:45] And in a vacuum it makes the movie worse not better

[00:22:50] Yeah, this is kind of a disaster a waste of Steven his ours talent

[00:22:55] by and large and

[00:22:58] and I

[00:23:00] Would say yeah, it's a it's a hard note for me, and I would probably have it if not worst

[00:23:05] definitely bottom three for the year

[00:23:07] It's time for all the feels we're talking about one this movie gives us feels

[00:23:12] Brian yeah the feels for me was just the dogs getting all those treats

[00:23:16] And they must have got a ton of treats filming this movie, and I was happy to see that

[00:23:20] I don't know if you know this but every time a dog films a movie they get a ton of I know

[00:23:23] But we have to see it this time like and they look psyched

[00:23:27] So I was glad to see that favorite part

[00:23:30] Yeah, the puppies steal the show in this in this movie. She'll steal the movie if you will I will this is not a show

[00:23:36] puppies sure

[00:23:37] All right all you pups out there and take quick break where come back you stay tuned

[00:23:42] You stay tuned and if you're listening you can put your little paw on those skip 30 seconds or whatever and you can skip them

[00:23:47] So I'm file it. No you can't do that. Okay? Yeah, stay to follow the CTH

[00:23:51] So you get to see us and dogs love to see us they do

[00:23:53] That's right on the pilot

[00:23:55] We're back here on the home or take the deck. I'm sorry guys

[00:24:02] It's rough

[00:24:03] Raise a spoon to grandma who always took all the hungry cousins to McDonald's for McNuggets and the play-play slide

[00:24:10] Have something sweet in her honor come to McDonald's and treat yourself to the grandma McFlurry today

[00:24:15] But I pop up by participating McDonald's for a limited time

[00:24:19] Welcome back everybody we're talking about the everything puppies movie from this past week on the Hallmark Channel

[00:24:26] I suffer the way what is what we talk about what in this movie made us go wait what?

[00:24:31] Brian yeah the selling of the dog treats door-to-door was ridiculous absurd

[00:24:37] That's what tick tock is for everybody knows that but also

[00:24:40] I was under the impression that they were not selling them door-to-door as much as they were selling them to pet stores

[00:24:45] Yeah, cold calling a pet stores going in there

[00:24:48] Hey conversations take place on the street. Hey, we have business proposition for you

[00:24:53] Absolutely. Can you send your manager out on the street?

[00:24:56] Yeah to determine if he or she is going to make a substantial purchase right in bulk

[00:25:00] It's just not it was just not and it was crazy. Yeah

[00:25:04] Yeah, and I thought like I thought they were doing it as like we I thought they were gonna sell it to pet stores

[00:25:10] Yeah, yeah, and I thought like I thought they were doing it as like we I thought they were gonna ignore the online thing completely

[00:25:17] I'm like, okay, that's their decision

[00:25:19] They're just gonna keep this low-key, but then like two-thirds of the way through the movie

[00:25:23] Her friend says we we have some online orders. We have like seven online or something like that

[00:25:28] I'm like this whole time. Yes, you can sell online

[00:25:30] Like I just I couldn't get over the idea

[00:25:34] That they were the way that they were trying to get their product into a pet store

[00:25:39] With a clipboard on a sidewalk like they're selling girls

[00:25:44] Couldn't I couldn't get past. Yeah, it's I thought I was missing something

[00:25:47] Yeah, no, and we're fine if they never mentioned the internet or online sales like okay. This is what they're doing

[00:25:53] This is the only way they're gonna sell but they didn't they do have an online store

[00:25:57] And that's what they should just be doing. Are you kidding me?

[00:26:00] Pet food treats dog food

[00:26:03] Unfortunately has to be regulated and we didn't really get a lot of that in this movie

[00:26:07] it was sort of like let's throw these in the oven take him next door and

[00:26:11] that was that so there's one line where somebody's like the

[00:26:16] FDA or somebody's gonna have like have to go through and do all these yeah, but the shelves

[00:26:20] Yeah, but not like not really. It's not stopping them from making them

[00:26:25] The big guy like I'm gonna lodge an anonymous complaint and they're gonna empty the shelves

[00:26:30] And yeah, so I mean you just should have addressed it at least one way or another it would have been great

[00:26:35] She's

[00:26:38] Building out an industrial kitchen

[00:26:41] Like she gets one contract rip out everything all new equipment

[00:26:46] She's not gotten paid for that country. No, no

[00:26:49] This is up front like she's putting on the credit cards ordering these this didn't give you like

[00:26:56] WTF small business feels when she gets one contract

[00:27:00] From one pet store and she doesn't have a dime yet and she's like what if we buy all the equipment top of the line?

[00:27:07] um, I

[00:27:09] You know

[00:27:11] No

[00:27:13] This honestly this happens all the time

[00:27:15] Where these people people start their businesses and they max out their credit cards that you all the time

[00:27:21] Yeah, but to not do that until you get if she had done that without anything then I'd have been fine with it

[00:27:27] She gets a contract yeah, and doesn't get any money that they can cancel, you know

[00:27:33] Yeah, but you know, it's her first time I could see no, honestly, I could see being so excited about getting your first contract

[00:27:40] Yeah that you get ahead of yourself. You just you just

[00:27:44] For so long with all of her really dumb ideas she has that she finally gets this big thing

[00:27:50] Just and you know, you assume it's all gonna work out you get ahead. You just wait for that first check

[00:27:55] Sure for the first yeah find a kid and I bet for now on she does yes

[00:28:00] Yeah

[00:28:02] listen learn and the

[00:28:06] The store just carrying one brand of dog listen product I can't period it's not like Verizon selling

[00:28:14] Just Verizon cell phone plans, right? It is a pet store. Yes, if I went to Best Buy and they were only selling

[00:28:22] Samsung computers, that would be what we call a monopoly. Yeah. Yeah, you can't do that. Yeah

[00:28:27] Yeah, the idea that a pet store is only selling one brand of pet food

[00:28:32] It's ridiculous

[00:28:33] So little like if they just had a few more products or the guy didn't say like the guy but also she doesn't even

[00:28:39] She doesn't make dog food

[00:28:42] She makes treats only they're selling only one brand, but it's not exclusive, right?

[00:28:48] To sell other I just decided not to yeah, so it feels like they're just the store itself is just a big dummy

[00:28:55] Dum-dum here. Oh, yes

[00:28:57] So he at one point has ours washing his dog in his kitchen sink and just what a mess

[00:29:03] What a mess anywhere else bro. Yeah, man. Holy cow

[00:29:07] And then the mommy dog

[00:29:09] Just whimpered and shot out ten clean perfectly clean dry puppies. Well, that was one of mine

[00:29:15] Maybe what the hallmark but since she brought it up, we only see four so rest in peace

[00:29:28] Buddy why would they only show us four of ten puppies?

[00:29:30] They said ten they made a whole thing of doing an ultrasound saying there was ten puppies. We see for rest in peace, obviously, right?

[00:29:37] I

[00:29:44] Have a few still

[00:29:48] Pump trucks a bit on the nose

[00:29:51] To be the bad the bad dog company and it's pop Chuck Chuck

[00:29:57] That's tough that stuff

[00:30:04] Bark bark barf

[00:30:06] It's taken. Okay. Sorry. I I love that

[00:30:10] She like, you know those bird seed went everywhere and she's like I'll pay for that and he goes no

[00:30:15] That's not our policy like

[00:30:19] Okay, like I don't know it was very interesting

[00:30:21] Like they not only do they not have a you break it you buy it policy

[00:30:25] Theirs is in fact the opposite where

[00:30:28] Regardless of if you break it or not

[00:30:31] We're not gonna let you pay for it. Yeah, even if you offer. Yeah, not allowed that's against our policy

[00:30:36] That's right. Our policy is if you break it we buy actually we're gonna buy it

[00:30:40] That's our policy and there's nothing that you could do about it. No amount of money you could offer this against our policy

[00:30:45] There's nothing we can do

[00:30:47] So, you know, we mentioned it in the synopsis that he is very into

[00:30:52] Work-life balance and you know, everyone's got to figure that out for for themselves

[00:30:57] He has to figure it out for others. Yes, he does. That's so one obviously he's very condescending about it like hey

[00:31:04] Work-life balance put your phone away this whole thing

[00:31:08] But also like bro, you're a GM of a pet store

[00:31:13] She's an entrepreneur

[00:31:15] Like if they're they're not the same like her work-life balance is gonna look different than your work-life balance

[00:31:21] She's in charge of a startup. You're in charge of a regional pet store. Like they're just different. They're different

[00:31:29] Yeah, and you know, you know, we run our own business and our work-life balance looks very different

[00:31:34] We get to make our own hours and we leave early we get to hang out with our kids and I respond to emails and do

[00:31:39] Stuff at night sometimes it's like it looks different for everybody you choose that you like just shut your yapper

[00:31:44] If you don't want to be with somebody that is maybe will reply to an email when it comes in

[00:31:49] Maybe don't be with a startup founder. No kidding. Mm-hmm

[00:31:54] So don't you know when your dog has if you if you are a breeder?

[00:32:00] Isn't a pretty big part of that like no one when they have sex

[00:32:06] So

[00:32:07] Can there be surprise pregnancies when you're breeding a dog like isn't that kind of part of it?

[00:32:13] Yeah, hey, it's it's we're gonna have another litter you control you

[00:32:17] You know when it's happening. So how did the how they were surprised that she was pregnant or that she was pregnant with tin that

[00:32:25] They'd she had just had puppies and they were concerned about how lethargic she was

[00:32:32] So, I don't know if she like didn't if they were like somehow can you get pregnant twice?

[00:32:37] Right and like, you know some puppies. Yeah

[00:32:40] Yeah, I don't know

[00:32:43] I've heard of like a Jack Jack's mom was a

[00:32:46] Breeder dog and the breeder gave her away because they were done breeding her so it turned out she was pregnant

[00:32:51] They didn't know that she was pregnant. I guess it happened

[00:32:54] But she yeah, I guess that in that sense it would but he was just like dumbfounded

[00:32:58] By this whole thing like what could possibly be going on the fact that she had just had a litter

[00:33:04] Yeah, I wonder if there is like I don't know really how it all works with with dogs

[00:33:08] But I would have assumed that it's the same that you can't have like dogs that are stylish dogs

[00:33:14] Dogs that are due in nine months and dogs that are doing like twilight

[00:33:18] I imagine that it's all the all the same in there

[00:33:21] I don't know but they were very shocked and surprised and I were yeah

[00:33:24] I would have assumed that that's all a part of the plan. Like you don't have like

[00:33:30] Oopsie breeds, right? You have it all pretty planned out

[00:33:34] Last but not least, you know the video that we see that he has of

[00:33:40] The puppies choosing the food at the thing. It's like okay. I get what's going on here the video that goes viral

[00:33:46] I don't understand what this video is and I don't understand how it proves that her dog treats are good

[00:33:52] Yeah, it's literally a video of a woman looking at a dog in a cage. I don't know how that proves it

[00:33:57] I don't know what this video was. They're all like well, that's the proof you need look at this

[00:34:02] I don't know what the video did you guys understand the video? They were supposed to go to a bowl. That was the

[00:34:10] Woman whole like look at that dogs, I don't know I was very confused by it Dan. Oh

[00:34:15] They go and try to sell pet stores on their dog treats on the streets

[00:34:21] They're like, can you bring your manager out so we can sell them and they find six different pet stores

[00:34:27] In just a walking radius which is wild like I would say even if you live in, Manhattan

[00:34:36] six full-size

[00:34:38] ginormous like anywhere six pets in Greenville like and good luck man, but yeah

[00:34:45] You're not part of a chain to just separate. Yeah, that's really really impressive

[00:34:51] Stephen is Ari's

[00:34:53] Blown away when his dog eats a treat

[00:34:55] like like he

[00:34:58] His dog eats this treat and he's like wow

[00:35:02] These treats really are good. What has been your experience in the past even has the dog normally spit the treat out

[00:35:09] Has the dog been like no treats? It's the opposite of a treat for me. It's a chore

[00:35:14] Yeah, we're actually actually I'm gonna start a company that just sells dirty diapers. There's dogs eat those too

[00:35:20] Ever

[00:35:21] But he literally his dog eats the tree and he's like I can't

[00:35:26] I gotta get it. I gotta get this these treats. He hasn't even years human

[00:35:30] I I gotta get these treats right now. No questions asked. Uh, I

[00:35:35] Listen Stephen is ours a good-looking dude. Mm-hmm. There's no doubt about it. That was

[00:35:41] Too much

[00:35:48] He's great, he's a great-looking dude the women in this movie talk about him like he is

[00:35:57] Adonis they talk about him like he's the only dude in town at one point a woman goes a woman a woman says

[00:36:06] You know, I love my husband, but this guy

[00:36:10] Like she says that in this movie and I get it the dudes attractive

[00:36:14] But like we've had movies with Tyler Hines and with Travis van Winkle and Chris Pala and Andrew Walker

[00:36:20] Nobody talks about him like this

[00:36:21] Like this was a level that I had not seen in one of these movies before just me. Am I crying? It was excessive

[00:36:27] Yeah, it was two different people said, you know the way women look at him

[00:36:32] Like he's the dude in town. That's the only dude it was amidst the six pet stores, you know

[00:36:39] surrounding this town

[00:36:41] when they lose their big contract the the

[00:36:45] She started to get real down in the dumps and her best friend is like we just need to pivot and then she goes

[00:36:50] Pivot and she goes. Yeah, it's a basketball term

[00:36:55] The Renaissance cold I like what pivot is was is

[00:37:01] only

[00:37:02] Very recently been used in the game of basketball pivot is a turning part of any sort of machine

[00:37:09] Like there's so many ways pivot has been used over the last

[00:37:15] 600 years that aren't basketball. They're not basketball related

[00:37:19] They have nothing to do with basketball if somebody asked me what's a pivot I wouldn't start with basketball

[00:37:24] I just there's so many different things that pivot. It's just not a basketball term

[00:37:30] It's a bit she also like she's like it's a basketball term, but it's been hijacked

[00:37:40] All these business guys are like

[00:37:43] She family are like what?

[00:37:46] By chance if you watch basketball

[00:37:51] Show friends

[00:37:53] They stole a basketball term. I like the worst way to it'd be like if somebody was like, oh shoot shoot

[00:38:01] Yeah, it's a basketball turn. No

[00:38:03] There's guns any you guys traveling this summer. Sorry

[00:38:06] I

[00:38:09] Get a quick timeout here. No

[00:38:13] Basketball term you'll get it later. I couldn't believe that was a line in this movie

[00:38:16] That didn't make it through one edit of the script one time. Maybe I should say anything else

[00:38:24] This

[00:38:25] I've won more. Okay, it's

[00:38:28] Sorry, I it's a big one terrible to her when he says work-life balance. He's like

[00:38:33] For him to have any opinion at all on how she runs her business or lives her life quite frankly is ridiculous

[00:38:42] She is conversely

[00:38:44] Terrible to him at one point late in the movie

[00:38:47] She looks at him and goes you just don't want to rock the boat and take any chances and you've not been

[00:38:51] He's the one pet owner of all of the dozens of pet stores in this small town

[00:38:57] He's the one that took a chance on her product and put it on the shelves the one and

[00:39:03] She's like you're the one that doesn't want to rock the boat. These two people are toxic and shouldn't be near each other

[00:39:07] That's all I'm trying to say

[00:39:12] Right we still in our bed when they all got that notification at the end with the video like I

[00:39:17] Assumed it was a mass text, but I guess it was social media because somebody said yes

[00:39:23] Everybody in this corporate meeting stops what they're doing to watch a video on tick-tock that they got sent to them

[00:39:31] dude, I

[00:39:33] Just don't imagine a board meeting. Everyone's just like sorry

[00:39:36] Just let me just how how did that how that couldn't have been social media?

[00:39:40] It couldn't have been about like how did everybody get that video at the same time?

[00:39:43] Yeah, the same exact time every single person doesn't make any sense. Wild. Yeah

[00:39:48] I have two one of them. I don't really remember the context of so maybe you guys can help me

[00:39:53] Is there a guy in a dog mascot costume all day every day at this?

[00:39:58] This pet store. It's like Disney World for like so usual. No, they wouldn't blink an eye

[00:40:04] Every time you're in there. Yeah, there is full-time jobs like Chuckie cheese. Yeah great benefits

[00:40:08] I've put a little Chuckie cheese. They march him out

[00:40:12] He's not always the same yeah employee I learned this we have a friend who had two friends that actually worked at

[00:40:17] One of them was Chuckie of the year. Come on. It would Dave Thompson. He was Chuckie of the year. They vote internally

[00:40:24] I don't know

[00:40:27] The last one I have is maybe you guys can help me the bear that one fat bear week

[00:40:34] Fat bear week is a thing, right? Okay. Yeah my wife it gets so wound up about it every year

[00:40:40] It's a thing where they have all these bears that are getting ready to hibernate. So they're all extra fat

[00:40:45] Vote on them, right? Okay, great. Yes

[00:40:47] So it is a set somebody said about this here

[00:40:49] Somebody said something about fat bear week like this is more important than the bear that one something some passive line

[00:40:56] Thanks. Now I know it's a real thing and I'm gonna get invested fat dog for midterms. Yeah, okay, yeah

[00:41:02] Yeah

[00:41:03] First of all, shout out to Randy Thomas who's been on our program

[00:41:06] He has one scene in this movie if this guy ever gets a scene he's going to

[00:41:11] Absolutely, the page will be so wrinkled you won't see the page like he is he could have shown up and done his lines

[00:41:19] Not Randy Thomas. No, sir. No way. No, how this guy was so above and beyond. I love it

[00:41:27] In this role, it's it's you know, clearly this CEO is so busy, but he cares

[00:41:32] He does care like he wants to like he wants to hear him out. Yeah. Yeah. He's a boss that you want to work for

[00:41:37] Yeah, he's not the guy that's the underling who's like no to me what's bottle no

[00:41:41] He's he's a guy you would love to work for I'd go to battle for that. Yeah

[00:41:47] Someone barges into

[00:41:49] Someone barges into his boardroom and goes I want to hear him out. Yeah, so you're not going about for that guy

[00:41:55] Yeah, no, can't love that guy. Okay, and then second of all I get it

[00:41:59] It's a low-budget movie if you're going to have a scene

[00:42:02] Editors of this film if you're going to have a scene where you put two bowls out and all of these puppies are

[00:42:09] Choosing one bowl of food over another bowl of food

[00:42:14] You better not have a camera angle that shows the empty bowl

[00:42:18] That's true. Yeah, you had one. Yeah, there is a shot of an empty bowl

[00:42:25] You can't do it

[00:42:26] You've got at least let us think the bowl has food in it or the the coffee cup has coffee in it

[00:42:32] You can't show us empty bowls and they showed us empty bowl in this movie

[00:42:37] And I just how we could have done a lot that wasn't that yeah, we did everybody. Congratulations

[00:42:43] It's time for double-decker of the weeks where we do a deep dive into the life of a double-decker

[00:42:47] Sign up for Brain Bull Jam Plus at the double-decker tier or all access you get a lot for all access

[00:42:54] Go to Brain Bull Jam Plus.com just read up on it. You'll be like what how?

[00:42:59] Who do we have this week what how we have a Kristen Searing

[00:43:05] Kristen Searing sure do yeah Chris. So you guys have you've heard of the cartel?

[00:43:10] Obviously, we've all heard we have heard. Oh, yeah the car

[00:43:14] No

[00:43:16] No, nothing like that a little like that not

[00:43:19] Exactly like that

[00:43:20] well Kristen has come up with an idea that could bring some of the

[00:43:25] Useful services of the cartel to the masses to make it like a little more accessible

[00:43:32] She's putting a positive spin on the cartel

[00:43:34] What are the everything's got its little aspects to it?

[00:43:38] What are the useful aspects of the cartel so for example one of the most useful aspects that Kristen really honed in on

[00:43:45] Is the fact that like maybe you might need a vehicle

[00:43:50] With no questions being asked when you're done with it

[00:43:53] Like you just that would be like a crime is what you're talking. Yes, like a crime

[00:43:57] No, not a reason that you would yeah not want anyone to know why you're using a vehicle that is above board

[00:44:05] So you got like ten puppies that you got to transport

[00:44:09] You could throw them in the back of the car and you don't have to deal with the mess

[00:44:15] You can return it in any way and then yeah

[00:44:19] Companies have that it's just called insurance. No, this is this is a it's all lumped in

[00:44:25] It's like a little more on the shady side

[00:44:27] I was gonna be a part of it cuz it's it's car don't tell if you will is what we're going with for this one

[00:44:34] Car don't tell car car. No, you can do

[00:44:37] Anything in this car?

[00:44:40] And you just leave it

[00:44:43] Anywhere under a bridge

[00:44:45] Down an alley any suspicious place you drop it and you go and you're done. No questions asked do whatever you want

[00:44:54] Transport anything or one leave it wherever you how do you know?

[00:44:59] How does the company know when you're done with the car? They know

[00:45:02] They know they know they got a tracker. They got some spots that they they know

[00:45:08] Yeah

[00:45:10] It apart really is like this is

[00:45:14] That basically means you're buying a car. No. No, it's very affordable. What is how much is car don't tell?

[00:45:20] Well, if it's like a daily rate a weekly rate

[00:45:23] Well, it's get you can get it down to 15 minutes quarter-hour rates

[00:45:27] If that's all you need they rent by the 15 minute real quick in and out. I hate this so much

[00:45:33] Yeah, very very great accessible so Kristen just I feel like she's on the forefront here of

[00:45:41] Yeah, oh yeah, so North America you can go Canada not in South America that markets kind of locked down at this

[00:45:48] she has

[00:45:50] Contacts with the cartel. Well

[00:45:55] If she has the cars coming she's got a guy charge a

[00:46:00] Signet because here's the thing is is if you're gonna get a car from cartel

[00:46:05] Yeah, you know that that car has previously been used

[00:46:10] By someone maybe hard don't tell service. Maybe I mean they rotate them

[00:46:15] car

[00:46:18] You gotta really need that you ever been on that side of really needing something no, okay, so you know, no, I hope

[00:46:25] I feel good knowing that cartel thanks to Kristen will be at my beck and call

[00:46:32] Just I don't know more expensive than a regular rental car though. It's got a little bit of a premium

[00:46:37] You wouldn't just take it to right for a weekend excursion

[00:46:42] Unless you know your excursion, you know wink-wink. I'd hate to do this because I know it's a serious business

[00:46:46] And these questions are probably all in the manual but you show up

[00:46:50] You know in some sort of trench coat presumably and you say I need a car from car don't tell for 15 minutes

[00:47:00] You get the car yeah, you hand them the payment up front I would assume yeah

[00:47:05] Cash at this point is still working out some right payment. How do they know when the I keep saying we huh?

[00:47:12] Are you involved? That's the thing with the there was a lot of up front

[00:47:17] So, you know

[00:47:19] Human that need it. We're again though. What do you mean? We well, are you using company money?

[00:47:24] Yeah, you can if you take our credit card

[00:47:27] You can get a little bit of cash on an AMX for a real

[00:47:30] I know I know I can we're a part of the cartel that could have got us real deep into this with that AMX

[00:47:35] But unfortunately, please answer my question. You show up with your trench coat. Yep, and what else you give them the money

[00:47:41] You get the car for 15 minutes

[00:47:44] How do does everyone know?

[00:47:47] When and where the transaction is over keeping an eye on you

[00:47:51] You're keeping an eye. They are keeping an eye on yeah, they gotta make sure you know protect their investment

[00:47:57] Okay, so they do know what you're using. They just won't tell doesn't say it's not car. Don't know. It's car

[00:48:03] Don't tell I don't tell it's in the title. So now it's all I needed because earlier you were like they just know

[00:48:11] Some people are doing some things that they don't want you to know about

[00:48:14] Yeah need a car and they're willing to let the car don't tell folks right? Oh

[00:48:19] Where they are what they're doing, but nobody else

[00:48:21] I don't sound like a thing where it's like plausible deniability where they don't know like no

[00:48:25] No, no, what they actually like the information because it's good like black. I guess they ever needs to hold something against you

[00:48:31] It's sort of like money plus like you get money plus you get a little blackmail for the future

[00:48:35] What's wild is the more we talk about this the more I bet this exists

[00:48:39] I think we're working on somewhere

[00:48:47] Here's the good news everybody back tomorrow when calls the heart Thursday, there's a family practice that we're gonna have to get into
