[00:00:00] Hi, I'm Brandon. I love Hallmark Spring Movies. I'm Brian. I like Hallmark Spring Movies. I'm
[00:00:12] Dan and I despise Hallmark Spring Movies and this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast. Deck
[00:00:19] The Hallmark is his podcast. Within and Friends host his podcast. We hope you like this jolly
[00:00:31] podcast. What up kids? Oh boy. Hello. Welcome to the Tuesday episode of Deck The Hallmark.
[00:00:43] It's great to be here today. Dan, we had a great time yesterday with Alonzo, but it's
[00:00:47] always going to be joined in studio by Brian. Brian got what the kids call a job. That's
[00:00:53] what they call it and we we've not seen much of Brian. No, it's just like it's like a guest
[00:00:58] appearance. I know for those of you listening, you you're hearing in the same amount, but
[00:01:02] we got used to having him around turning down lunches and pizza and turn the heat up.
[00:01:06] Yeah. He just complaining silly thing about the money he's making. And so now like
[00:01:12] for us, it feels just welcome back to the studio. It feels weird to be here. It's a little
[00:01:18] I can't wait to get out of here. For you. I don't like it. I'll be back. I'll be honest.
[00:01:23] It has been all we thought. I was thinking it's like a wider I'm complaining about the
[00:01:28] cold. Yeah, it is great. It's still great. There's been a lot less just complaining
[00:01:32] in general really around the office. Let's give you 10 seconds to complain about whatever
[00:01:37] you want to go ahead. Anything. Yeah. Okay. The yeah, the camera's off obviously,
[00:01:42] but that's that's more of a producer. I'm problem. The temperature not too bad. It can't really
[00:01:46] complain about that. We the schedule, we did go ahead of schedule and it kind of threw
[00:01:51] me off a little bit. He's mad that we're going to fix that camera. That's better. There
[00:01:56] we go. Now lock it in. DTH. Keep that the rest of the show. I think that's nice.
[00:02:01] That green. They got to earn the rest of it. Not too much to complain about. It's
[00:02:06] great to be here. This is good stuff. But if you're on file, you're getting
[00:02:10] a show right now. And I just want to let you know, Dan, I saw on the Facebook group
[00:02:17] brainwashingplus.com. You can sign up join a group. We get to talk and do movie
[00:02:22] things like they talk about the movies when they air. We are not a part of those
[00:02:26] because we do the show. We do the show. But someone was talking about how much
[00:02:31] they look forward to follow deep dive every week. What really? Yeah. Well,
[00:02:35] it's a thing you can find them on the file. Oh, it's funny. You know,
[00:02:38] occasionally people will tag me in the movie chats and I am always like,
[00:02:43] somebody tagged me. And so I'll look and then I'll see something and I'm like,
[00:02:46] I can't be in this chat. Yeah, I can't be here. I got to go in contrary to
[00:02:49] popular belief. We try to go in these movies with no opinion and no idea of
[00:02:54] what the movie's about to give it as much of a chance as possible, which
[00:03:00] we did that with this movie. Yeah, we did. We went up to Niagara. We
[00:03:04] didn't know. I wish we would have done this episode from Niagara.
[00:03:07] Niagara. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:03:11] And there's somewhere.
[00:03:12] You're a
[00:03:15] man.
[00:03:17] I like it.
[00:03:20] Just get up out of your chair.
[00:03:21] I know everybody, I know everybody knows your origin story, but you did used
[00:03:25] to be second and command to the scripts, the spelling bee before that
[00:03:30] other guy took over.
[00:03:32] Yep. So I started about
[00:03:34] candy candy. Go.
[00:03:35] You started your own candy.
[00:03:37] Go spell bee.
[00:03:38] The candy goes spell bee.
[00:03:40] Candy goes Bellbee.
[00:03:42] What is that?
[00:03:43] Look at it. It's a spelling bee a lot like scripts.
[00:03:45] Candy. How do you spell that candy?
[00:03:47] How do you spell candy?
[00:03:48] You don't know.
[00:03:49] Candy co all one word is a candy space co space.
[00:03:54] Bellby.
[00:03:54] Candy with an I B spell be.
[00:03:58] Yes. Candy goes Bellbee.
[00:04:00] A lot of stuff comes up.
[00:04:02] So yeah, well, it's in there.
[00:04:03] Keep looking.
[00:04:05] That's exciting.
[00:04:06] Anyway,
[00:04:08] TV's listening to you.
[00:04:09] Nigeria.
[00:04:11] It's definitely not like Gary.
[00:04:13] Dan, what did you say?
[00:04:14] Racist.
[00:04:15] Naya. Naya.
[00:04:16] Gara, I believe is what Dan said.
[00:04:18] Dan, you know, speak for yourself.
[00:04:20] Yeah, I can brand.
[00:04:21] I'm sorry. That was weird that he did that.
[00:04:23] It's yeah. It's Naya.
[00:04:24] Gara is what I heard.
[00:04:25] Not Niagara.
[00:04:26] Jera hard.
[00:04:27] No, no, no.
[00:04:28] Soft.
[00:04:28] How how is it pronounced?
[00:04:30] Because I said Niagara.
[00:04:31] I feel like I've heard that before, but I'm wrong a lot.
[00:04:35] No, Naya.
[00:04:35] Gara is a friend of mine.
[00:04:36] It's Niagara.
[00:04:37] Thanks for all your right there.
[00:04:39] Thank you, Wrigley.
[00:04:39] And that's Bellbee.
[00:04:40] S P E L L B Y spell be.
[00:04:44] That's like the candy co spell be.
[00:04:46] Did you look that up?
[00:04:47] S P.
[00:04:48] Give it to me one more.
[00:04:49] S P E L L B Y B Y.
[00:04:53] Did you get code?
[00:04:54] Did you spell code correctly?
[00:04:55] Candyco.com.
[00:04:59] Yeah, it's right here.
[00:05:00] The candyco spell be.
[00:05:02] Does everybody get candy?
[00:05:03] Yeah, they get that.
[00:05:04] They get a bag with candy and a bunch of stuff in there.
[00:05:07] Kind of stuff.
[00:05:08] A pants.
[00:05:13] Kids.
[00:05:14] Something is a kid's stomach.
[00:05:15] It's not even possible to put your pants
[00:05:17] all of an every kid's bag or attendee.
[00:05:22] Attendee. I don't know.
[00:05:23] It's an adult spelling.
[00:05:24] Be okay.
[00:05:25] It's kids.
[00:05:26] We should have started there.
[00:05:29] We're talking about falling in love and Niagara.
[00:05:33] Thanks for having me, Brent.
[00:05:34] Thank you, Wrigley.
[00:05:35] Thank you for having me.
[00:05:36] I'm still welcome here on the pot.
[00:05:38] What a battle here really quickly.
[00:05:40] Mays.
[00:05:41] And he's trying.
[00:05:43] He's trying.
[00:05:44] I guess rig mays coming up.
[00:05:45] Any big events going on at 50s this month?
[00:05:47] Oh, there's always several good events
[00:05:49] coming on the fences.
[00:05:50] You know that we got human dots,
[00:05:52] which is a classic, but that's our big.
[00:05:53] Very special.
[00:05:54] May madness.
[00:05:55] We got may madness.
[00:05:56] May madness.
[00:05:57] It's where you, you ever played Mother May I the game?
[00:06:01] Of course.
[00:06:02] All right.
[00:06:02] Well, you play that, but it's drinking.
[00:06:06] Sounds mad.
[00:06:07] All right, mad.
[00:06:08] May madness.
[00:06:09] Well, see you out there.
[00:06:12] All right.
[00:06:13] They get everybody's out there, huh?
[00:06:16] Man.
[00:06:18] Is Rick going to die the whole neck?
[00:06:19] The hallmarks over?
[00:06:21] There's you never know.
[00:06:22] Nobody has hold.
[00:06:24] Falling in love in Niagara, April 20th,
[00:06:26] 2024 is when it premiered and it went a little something like this.
[00:06:29] So Madeline is a lot.
[00:06:31] She's very organized.
[00:06:33] She's also engaged and is working on planning her honeymoon
[00:06:37] to Niagara just like her parents had their special time
[00:06:42] in Niagara.
[00:06:43] Great grandparents.
[00:06:44] Just regular.
[00:06:45] Just regular parents.
[00:06:47] They were great.
[00:06:48] Grandparents.
[00:06:50] You said her parents.
[00:06:51] I wrote grandparents.
[00:06:53] You just said her parents.
[00:06:55] We all we all popped up.
[00:06:57] You can confirm.
[00:06:58] I said, I said what I thought I said.
[00:07:01] You did all three of us.
[00:07:04] Maybe let's take this thing.
[00:07:05] Her.
[00:07:06] Grand.
[00:07:07] Fair.
[00:07:08] How do you guys not hear that?
[00:07:10] We miss that.
[00:07:11] You guys not hear that skipped.
[00:07:13] Yeah.
[00:07:13] She calls up a tour guide company in Niagara
[00:07:17] to plan the whole thing and it's Mike.
[00:07:20] Mike is on the phone and is clearly annoyed by how
[00:07:23] particular she is.
[00:07:26] You know who else is annoyed by Madeline or her fiance.
[00:07:28] He's really had enough and calls off the wedding.
[00:07:33] She is real sad for four weeks.
[00:07:36] But after some convincing from her sister,
[00:07:38] they decide that they're going to go to Niagara together.
[00:07:41] This already paid for.
[00:07:42] They don't want to lose money on this deal.
[00:07:46] So they head over there and she's walking around Niagara
[00:07:50] by herself having some time with her thoughts.
[00:07:53] She sees a guy playing guitar and mumbling to himself.
[00:07:56] She goes to throw some coins in his coffee cup assuming that it is a tip cup.
[00:08:01] It is not a tip cup.
[00:08:04] It's a full cup of coffee.
[00:08:06] It splashes coffee all over him.
[00:08:09] Oh my gosh.
[00:08:10] It's Mike.
[00:08:12] He's like WTF man.
[00:08:14] I'm just playing.
[00:08:15] I just came here to be with myself and my songs in the privacy of this open park.
[00:08:22] The whole park, yes.
[00:08:23] What gives?
[00:08:24] And she's like sorry, I thought you wanted money.
[00:08:27] I thought that's why you're here.
[00:08:28] So when she shows up for the tour that she paid for,
[00:08:32] she is shocked to find out that her tour guide is indeed Mike,
[00:08:38] the coffee guy with the guitar and the mumbling.
[00:08:42] It starts off, it's real rocky.
[00:08:44] But if you can believe it, they start to hit it off.
[00:08:47] He starts to help her break out of her box, believe in herself.
[00:08:52] They go zip lining.
[00:08:54] They go to Skywheel.
[00:08:57] Did he get tickets in advance though?
[00:08:58] Because that was your top to come by.
[00:09:00] Last minute baby.
[00:09:02] I know.
[00:09:02] I know.
[00:09:03] And then they go karaoke.
[00:09:11] And karaoke doesn't lead you to take some sort of romantic walk and kiss.
[00:09:16] And I don't know what you're doing because that's what happens to them.
[00:09:18] They kiss.
[00:09:21] It's magical.
[00:09:23] Niagara Falls baby.
[00:09:25] It's time for Mike's open mic night.
[00:09:27] Now, what you need to know about this?
[00:09:29] It's big.
[00:09:29] It's a big deal.
[00:09:30] Because he hasn't sung out loud since his break up.
[00:09:35] In front of others.
[00:09:36] I'm sure he's sung out loud, right?
[00:09:37] No.
[00:09:38] He hasn't sung out loud.
[00:09:40] He's sung to himself.
[00:09:41] What's he doing on the bench?
[00:09:43] He's sung, but he's not sung out loud.
[00:09:45] He's not heard his own voice in over two years.
[00:09:47] What if it's bad now?
[00:09:49] Oh yeah.
[00:09:49] That's nerve.
[00:09:51] Anyway.
[00:09:52] A little Bondrami situation.
[00:09:54] I don't know anything.
[00:09:55] Now.
[00:09:55] I'll try to start a rumor.
[00:09:59] Usually when you have some inside,
[00:10:00] you say, I don't know anything.
[00:10:01] That's right.
[00:10:02] And that's how it starts.
[00:10:03] It's a real Bondrami situation.
[00:10:04] And he wrote this song all about Madeline.
[00:10:08] So it's going to be a pretty good song.
[00:10:09] Hopefully she makes it.
[00:10:10] Hopefully she makes it.
[00:10:11] No, no.
[00:10:12] What is new voice?
[00:10:14] That's crazy about his voice, man.
[00:10:15] It's unbelievable.
[00:10:18] I don't know anything about it.
[00:10:19] No, I don't know anything.
[00:10:20] Nothing.
[00:10:23] Just before she's about to head out to the open mic night,
[00:10:28] her ex walks in and is like, let's go for a walk.
[00:10:31] So she bales on open mic.
[00:10:34] Oh.
[00:10:37] Leaving mic open.
[00:10:40] I don't know.
[00:10:41] I couldn't quite get there.
[00:10:42] His name is Mike.
[00:10:43] It's open mic.
[00:10:44] You're good.
[00:10:45] Yeah.
[00:10:45] There's something there.
[00:10:46] I think we could, I think together.
[00:10:48] That's what you said.
[00:10:49] Yeah, I think it was.
[00:10:50] You were 80% of the way there.
[00:10:51] I know.
[00:10:52] I know.
[00:10:53] So they're walking her and her ex.
[00:10:56] Whose name is?
[00:10:57] She just took his heart right out of his chest.
[00:11:01] I think it's Jeremy.
[00:11:02] I'm going to go with Jeremy.
[00:11:04] And Jeremy's like, hey, I think we should get married.
[00:11:08] I miss you a lot.
[00:11:09] And so he gets down on his knee and proposes again.
[00:11:14] And she says yes.
[00:11:16] In front of the falls.
[00:11:17] Just like her grandparents.
[00:11:21] So it's pretty magical.
[00:11:22] Pretty much.
[00:11:25] Now, Jason.
[00:11:27] I said Jason.
[00:11:27] He said Jason.
[00:11:28] No less than 30 seconds ago.
[00:11:29] It's Jeremy.
[00:11:31] He's definitely a Jeremy.
[00:11:32] He's a Jeremy type.
[00:11:33] He's a Jeremy type.
[00:11:34] You're looking for a Jeremy type.
[00:11:35] He's trying to move those eyes, though.
[00:11:38] So she is going to marry him.
[00:11:41] And they got to leave tomorrow, though,
[00:11:43] which is a real bummer because she was invited
[00:11:46] to these randoms people's wedding.
[00:11:48] Yeah.
[00:11:49] You don't want to let the RANDOS down when they invite
[00:11:51] you to the wedding.
[00:11:52] But there's going to be so many people there, though.
[00:11:54] So who's going to miss her?
[00:11:55] Who's going to miss her?
[00:11:58] So Mike is real sad when he hears the news.
[00:12:01] What's the point of any of this?
[00:12:03] I wrote a song.
[00:12:05] And now it's, you know, now Mike's open.
[00:12:08] Let's open again.
[00:12:09] For Papa Roach, last resort.
[00:12:12] She's about to leave.
[00:12:13] And then she realizes that Jeremy's a real jerk.
[00:12:17] And breaks Jeremy and breaks up with him again.
[00:12:22] So she runs in her heels, props by the way,
[00:12:25] to the wedding.
[00:12:26] And good thing she did because with her being there,
[00:12:31] there's now five.
[00:12:32] Yes.
[00:12:33] And there.
[00:12:34] And that's good.
[00:12:35] Everyone knows you need at least five.
[00:12:37] So she, before the wedding actually happens, is like, hey,
[00:12:43] I think I'm falling for you.
[00:12:44] And he's like dope.
[00:12:45] I think I'm falling for you.
[00:12:46] I also see that you're wearing that necklace I gave you.
[00:12:48] Now, the necklace is a clear circle.
[00:12:53] And inside of that is one of the coins.
[00:12:57] Yeah, one of the coins from the first time they met.
[00:13:00] That's right.
[00:13:01] It's huge.
[00:13:02] It is, as Jeremy said, tacky.
[00:13:06] But whatever.
[00:13:07] She's wearing it.
[00:13:08] She's like, I'm falling for you.
[00:13:10] He's like, that's pretty dope.
[00:13:11] Like, should we do this later?
[00:13:13] Because there's a wedding.
[00:13:13] And they're like, no, let's kiss now.
[00:13:15] So they kiss and everybody cheers them on.
[00:13:19] Once the wedding's done, they get out of there
[00:13:20] as fast as they can.
[00:13:21] They go down to the water.
[00:13:23] They get on a boat.
[00:13:24] Niagara Falls is happening.
[00:13:26] And now cut to another open mic.
[00:13:29] And Mike is now open for business.
[00:13:33] Nice.
[00:13:34] Because he's in love.
[00:13:35] And he sings that song.
[00:13:37] And we get a montage of the movie that we just watched.
[00:13:40] And my friends was falling in Niagara.
[00:13:46] I just wrote down that.
[00:13:47] Hello.
[00:13:48] Falling.
[00:13:49] Hello, hello, hello.
[00:13:52] Hello.
[00:13:53] How are we all doing this?
[00:13:54] Let's say, how are we all doing it?
[00:13:56] Come on, come on.
[00:13:57] Come on, come on.
[00:13:58] Yeah, come on.
[00:14:00] Hey, kick us to the break.
[00:14:01] Brian, kick us to the break.
[00:14:02] Be right back here, Ron.
[00:14:04] Then go, Mark.
[00:14:05] That's a good voice.
[00:14:09] Yours was really like redneck.
[00:14:10] Yeah.
[00:14:11] I mean, he's throwing twang on anything.
[00:14:13] We weren't throwing twang.
[00:14:14] Yeah, I wasn't throwing twang.
[00:14:16] Hi, everyone.
[00:14:18] We're back.
[00:14:19] We're talking about falling in love in Niagara.
[00:14:23] Let's get to it.
[00:14:24] Oh, is falling in love?
[00:14:25] Yeah, I just had love in Niagara.
[00:14:26] I have a fall in love in Niagara because Niagara falls.
[00:14:29] Try to keep up.
[00:14:30] That's right.
[00:14:31] It makes too much sense.
[00:14:32] Yeah, I guess so.
[00:14:33] Let's break this movie down.
[00:14:35] The only way we know how, which is with the same four
[00:14:37] segments every single week, we're
[00:14:38] going to start with the hot take.
[00:14:41] And it's where we share exactly how
[00:14:42] we felt about this movie, the hot take.
[00:14:44] It is where we share exactly how
[00:14:45] we felt about this movie.
[00:14:47] And we do not hold back.
[00:14:48] And I'm going to start with Brian.
[00:14:50] Brian, what did you think of falling in love in Niagara?
[00:14:54] This movie.
[00:14:55] I had a fun time with this movie.
[00:15:01] I accidentally did look at the comments on our Facebook
[00:15:04] group because I didn't read them.
[00:15:07] I was looking for one piece of information in particular.
[00:15:10] So I went in the comments to see
[00:15:12] if there was any chatter about it.
[00:15:14] And I saw there was a lot of chatter about this one thing.
[00:15:16] But in addition to that, I did see things that I was like,
[00:15:19] wow, all right, I guess I'm a little off here.
[00:15:22] I had a good time with this movie.
[00:15:23] There seemed to be like a lot of complaints about this movie.
[00:15:26] And I...
[00:15:27] Brian, are you on drugs?
[00:15:29] What do you mean?
[00:15:30] You didn't think we were on drugs?
[00:15:31] Do we have to do a ranking episode this week?
[00:15:32] Yeah.
[00:15:35] Where would you have this movie?
[00:15:37] At least upper middle.
[00:15:39] Upper middle.
[00:15:40] Yeah, top third for me.
[00:15:42] I thought they were great together.
[00:15:44] Really?
[00:15:44] Niagara.
[00:15:45] Yeah, I thought they were really good.
[00:15:46] Niagara itself was great.
[00:15:48] I feel like it felt like a part of the movie,
[00:15:50] like a natural part of the movie.
[00:15:51] They did all the stuff and you got to see a lot of it.
[00:15:55] They...
[00:15:55] You mean all the stuff?
[00:15:56] Like they got soaking wet about the zip line.
[00:15:59] They walked along the path a lot.
[00:16:01] The zip line.
[00:16:02] Thank you, Brian.
[00:16:02] They did zip line.
[00:16:04] They did the first wheel.
[00:16:05] Okay.
[00:16:05] Look at it.
[00:16:06] They got soaking wet a few times,
[00:16:07] which I thought was pretty funny.
[00:16:10] The homelessness while not funny,
[00:16:13] the bit they did was pretty funny,
[00:16:14] I thought with the coin and him being on the bench
[00:16:17] and it's not my bench.
[00:16:19] I thought that was pretty funny.
[00:16:20] So I was glad they shoehorned that one in.
[00:16:23] They did what to that one?
[00:16:24] They shoehorned that thing in.
[00:16:25] Okay, I didn't hear a horn.
[00:16:26] I thought you said shoehorned.
[00:16:27] No, no, no.
[00:16:28] They shoehorned it in there.
[00:16:29] They also shoehorned it in.
[00:16:30] They shoehorned it, yes.
[00:16:31] They shoehorned that one right in there.
[00:16:33] The mic's open.
[00:16:34] The mic's open.
[00:16:36] The big thing about it,
[00:16:37] and this is what I saw in the Facebook group,
[00:16:40] was the color of the shirts
[00:16:42] and the color of the background
[00:16:44] and the accessory colors.
[00:16:45] It was driving me nuts.
[00:16:47] What was the deal with the color?
[00:16:50] Like, did you guys notice this while you were watching it?
[00:16:53] Yeah, no, I expand a little bit.
[00:16:55] I'm looking blue and the yellow and the orange
[00:16:58] and the red and they're all solid colors.
[00:17:00] Okay.
[00:17:01] And that, every scene had blue and yellow,
[00:17:04] which I have a theory on this.
[00:17:06] Almost every scene had blue and yellow.
[00:17:08] Every scene seemed to have like
[00:17:09] it would progress from like yellow to orange to red.
[00:17:11] Well, I thought they were trying to hide the fact
[00:17:13] that it was clearly autumn in Canada
[00:17:17] with bright colors to make it a spring movie.
[00:17:20] I also thought the movie was clearly sponsored by no one
[00:17:24] because everyone's just wearing solid, like,
[00:17:28] 100%.
[00:17:29] I get it.
[00:17:29] I wear solid colors every day.
[00:17:30] I'm not here to judge,
[00:17:31] but for every character in every scene
[00:17:33] to be in solid blue or yellow,
[00:17:35] no, not even a pattern anywhere.
[00:17:37] Not a pattern.
[00:17:38] It was like there were no colors.
[00:17:39] It was so weird.
[00:17:40] What's crazy though is you read that word for word
[00:17:42] from the first movie review of a non-black and white movie.
[00:17:46] What's up with all the colors?
[00:17:47] Yeah, that's right.
[00:17:48] Yeah, yeah.
[00:17:49] There's too many colors.
[00:17:50] I'm glad you picked up on it.
[00:17:50] I mean, I love the movie, but...
[00:17:52] Yeah.
[00:17:53] What was up with it?
[00:17:53] Yeah, what was up with it?
[00:17:54] It's my black and white.
[00:17:56] Easy on the eyes.
[00:17:57] So that was just a big,
[00:17:58] not it was a distraction because I'm like,
[00:18:00] what is the deal with this?
[00:18:03] What is going on here?
[00:18:04] So I, like I said, I have a theory.
[00:18:06] It's in my, what the hallmark will get to that.
[00:18:08] So yeah, I had a good time with this overall.
[00:18:11] Cool.
[00:18:12] Yeah, man.
[00:18:12] That's awesome.
[00:18:13] Thank you, man.
[00:18:14] I'm so happy that you're here in a contrived movie.
[00:18:17] I love you so much.
[00:18:19] This movie isn't going to win any good awards.
[00:18:22] Oh.
[00:18:26] That's meaner than anything I'll say about the movie.
[00:18:28] It's also, I'm not gonna like,
[00:18:31] there are some things about this movie that I will
[00:18:34] remember, I do think that you're right.
[00:18:36] Niagara Falls is great.
[00:18:39] Is it the best falls?
[00:18:41] No, we all know this.
[00:18:42] Falls part green.
[00:18:43] Uh-oh, go over to Dan's camera real quick.
[00:18:45] Look, look at that.
[00:18:46] Oh, you can't really see it.
[00:18:47] But imagine there's the bridge,
[00:18:50] the bridge up there.
[00:18:51] You walk the bridge up.
[00:18:54] Yeah.
[00:18:55] Just like,
[00:18:56] and then like just kind of tilt up,
[00:18:58] like just move the whole tripod up.
[00:19:00] Oh, there it is.
[00:19:00] Look at that bridge.
[00:19:01] Imagine a waterfall right there.
[00:19:04] It's a waterfall in the back.
[00:19:05] And that's in the middle of downtown.
[00:19:07] That's in the middle of downtown.
[00:19:09] We got a main street all around.
[00:19:10] Filos getting a show today.
[00:19:12] Filos.
[00:19:13] The camera's good.
[00:19:14] The camera's literally never been better.
[00:19:16] Filos getting the same show they always do.
[00:19:18] Viewers are getting more of a show today.
[00:19:20] I think it's what you're trying to say.
[00:19:21] Yes, that's right.
[00:19:21] Viewers that are watching on Filos goes of course.
[00:19:24] Oh, it's right there.
[00:19:25] Look at that.
[00:19:25] Could have just done that.
[00:19:28] Wow.
[00:19:29] You really did.
[00:19:30] We were really in there.
[00:19:31] There we go.
[00:19:32] Perfect.
[00:19:33] I didn't necessarily, this movie isn't a movie
[00:19:36] that I am...
[00:19:38] Gonna watch again.
[00:19:39] Trying to watch again.
[00:19:40] And it's not like when we do the revisions.
[00:19:44] There are movies that have come out this year
[00:19:47] that I've liked less, that I've enjoyed less.
[00:19:50] Yeah, we had Jane Austen.
[00:19:51] Right, it's exactly right.
[00:19:52] So that's this.
[00:19:54] But this movie is just so unremarkable
[00:19:57] and so kind of middle of the pack
[00:19:59] that I'm just gonna forget about it.
[00:20:02] And so that's unfortunate.
[00:20:04] I didn't dislike the two leads.
[00:20:06] I thought that they were okay together.
[00:20:08] But overall, not gonna win any good awards.
[00:20:12] Not gonna win any good awards, as you said.
[00:20:13] Not gonna win any good awards.
[00:20:15] TM.
[00:20:16] TM, Dan?
[00:20:17] TM.
[00:20:19] I like Dan Genant and Jocelyn Houdon.
[00:20:22] I do.
[00:20:23] I like both of them.
[00:20:24] And we've had one of them on the show.
[00:20:26] We'd love to have the other.
[00:20:27] These are two capable people that have decent chemistry.
[00:20:31] We got that out of the way.
[00:20:32] This is one of the worst of the year.
[00:20:34] Man.
[00:20:35] It is really bad.
[00:20:37] Everyone that's not those two,
[00:20:39] it feels like a struggle.
[00:20:42] I don't know if that's script or if that's acting.
[00:20:44] I don't know what that is.
[00:20:46] It's a mess.
[00:20:48] Add to that the fact that this character,
[00:20:51] is it Madeline?
[00:20:52] Is that her name?
[00:20:52] Yes.
[00:20:53] Madeline is one of my least favorite leads
[00:20:58] we've ever had.
[00:20:59] Not the actor, the character.
[00:21:01] She is insufferable.
[00:21:04] Her and that dude at the beginning of this movie,
[00:21:06] they deserve each other.
[00:21:07] Jeremy Jason, they deserve each other.
[00:21:10] They are both insufferable human beings.
[00:21:13] How much of that has to do with the fact
[00:21:14] that she's opinionated and you don't like women?
[00:21:17] Yeah, of course.
[00:21:17] You know me.
[00:21:18] He was saying that earlier.
[00:21:19] Erin Wright, he was saying that earlier to you
[00:21:21] in particular.
[00:21:22] This is unbelievable.
[00:21:23] I'm not allowed to speak to Dan
[00:21:25] and of course I'm going to.
[00:21:27] I'm asking you and you know that I'm for you
[00:21:30] and that I'm always cheering you on.
[00:21:32] I was encouraging.
[00:21:32] Yeah, so encouraging.
[00:21:34] Five, that goes for me.
[00:21:35] That goes for a little more.
[00:21:36] Three, yes.
[00:21:38] Thank you, Erin.
[00:21:39] She's insufferable.
[00:21:41] Talk about how much you get the lead.
[00:21:42] You gotta do what you gotta do.
[00:21:43] She's insufferable.
[00:21:44] We're not talking about Erin anymore.
[00:21:45] No, no, no.
[00:21:46] Okay.
[00:21:47] I don't talk to Erin because she didn't speak to me
[00:21:49] and she knows she can't do that unless she's spoken to.
[00:21:53] That's what the law says.
[00:21:55] She says it right behind her.
[00:21:57] She says that.
[00:21:58] Yeah, that's what they're talking about.
[00:21:59] There is so much about her that does not fit
[00:22:02] with the character they've drawn for her.
[00:22:04] Like being that super duper Taipei,
[00:22:07] super regimented, super organized.
[00:22:09] There's so much she does in this movie
[00:22:11] that doesn't fit into that camp at all
[00:22:13] and it's just, it's almost like it's just
[00:22:17] completely on the whim of what they need the character to do.
[00:22:19] It's a poorly structured and written character
[00:22:21] and she's awful.
[00:22:23] And her, not, everyone else doesn't fare much better.
[00:22:28] They only fare better because you don't understand them
[00:22:29] at all.
[00:22:30] Like, at all.
[00:22:32] So the movie's a mess.
[00:22:35] I laughed a lot but not in a fun way in a,
[00:22:38] I can't believe this is still happening way.
[00:22:40] For a movie that Bran said is middle of the pack,
[00:22:43] it features by his own estimation,
[00:22:45] yelling at the screen numerous times,
[00:22:47] this is the worst scene of the year.
[00:22:50] He said it over and over again
[00:22:51] and now he's here on this program going,
[00:22:55] this is a middle of the pack movie.
[00:22:57] He's screaming, this scene,
[00:22:58] I said there's a worst scene of the year.
[00:23:00] Name one.
[00:23:00] Did that happen multiple times?
[00:23:01] It was no, no.
[00:23:02] This name one thing,
[00:23:03] I started my review by saying it's not gonna win
[00:23:06] any good awards.
[00:23:07] But read it between the lines Dan.
[00:23:09] I'm being honest.
[00:23:10] But you said middle of the pack.
[00:23:11] For me, as far as this goes,
[00:23:13] it's gonna be middle of the,
[00:23:14] I said it in my review of the movie.
[00:23:16] The scene you're talking about encapsulates
[00:23:19] like probably near 10% of this movie.
[00:23:21] It felt like 100% of this movie.
[00:23:24] That by itself makes it not middle of the pack, right?
[00:23:27] But there's just movies that I liked less.
[00:23:29] Cause J-Daw.
[00:23:30] Yeah, okay, but that's like three movies.
[00:23:32] Okay, so that doesn't make this middle of the pack.
[00:23:34] I guess we'll find out.
[00:23:35] We will.
[00:23:36] In a couple of days.
[00:23:37] We will.
[00:23:38] This movie's a mess.
[00:23:39] Aside from all the feels where we're talking about
[00:23:40] what this movie gives feels, Braga.
[00:23:42] Yeah, this was my favorite karaoke scene in a movie
[00:23:45] that we've seen.
[00:23:46] Are you kidding?
[00:23:47] I almost like real, is this the scene?
[00:23:49] Brian, kindly.
[00:23:51] Come on.
[00:23:52] Exit the premises.
[00:23:54] Tell me you're doing a bit.
[00:23:55] Tell me you're doing a bit.
[00:23:56] I enjoyed it.
[00:23:57] What do you mean you enjoyed it?
[00:23:58] I feel like the music choices were good for the couples.
[00:24:01] Dude, you're doing a bit.
[00:24:02] I'm not.
[00:24:03] You are trying to be as Brian,
[00:24:05] you're like, I'm filling up my Brian take
[00:24:07] and top it off.
[00:24:09] You are not.
[00:24:10] This is not real.
[00:24:11] It's not.
[00:24:12] Right now.
[00:24:13] I thought it might be the best karaoke scene
[00:24:14] in a Hallmark movie that I've seen.
[00:24:16] You should be shot on sight.
[00:24:17] My favorite one, it didn't feel cringy or awkward
[00:24:20] like they usually do to me.
[00:24:21] Are you kidding me?
[00:24:22] I had a fun time.
[00:24:23] Just go to Brian.
[00:24:24] Just go to Brian.
[00:24:25] Just go to Brian.
[00:24:26] Just go to his face.
[00:24:27] Go to one, whatever that is.
[00:24:28] I thought it was good.
[00:24:30] I liked it.
[00:24:31] I could have used more of it.
[00:24:32] You could have used more of it.
[00:24:33] It was insufferable.
[00:24:34] I mean, I wish there were more people there to see it.
[00:24:35] What do you mean you liked the music choices?
[00:24:38] Describe it.
[00:24:38] Describe the music.
[00:24:40] Describe it.
[00:24:41] Old time love songs.
[00:24:43] So you're telling me, you're telling me
[00:24:45] you go to karaoke and three straight times
[00:24:49] people go on stage and do that?
[00:24:51] And you're like, yeah.
[00:24:53] Give me one of that.
[00:24:54] That's what I want out of karaoke night?
[00:24:56] Are you kidding me?
[00:24:57] I gotta be honest with you.
[00:24:58] If at Bramble Fest, you go up there
[00:25:00] and you try this once.
[00:25:01] And you start doing it.
[00:25:02] So help me God, Brian.
[00:25:03] You start doing this to them, Brian.
[00:25:04] If you go up and you try it once.
[00:25:06] Dude, my choice would be Mac than I for Bobby Daren.
[00:25:09] So I'm right in these.
[00:25:10] But here the thing is, is you can crew that.
[00:25:12] These three choices were all songs
[00:25:16] from like white people before they heard jazz.
[00:25:19] Like it's all just like couples.
[00:25:21] In a, last time earlier I said Fred Astaire
[00:25:24] and Aaron was like Fred Astaire would never.
[00:25:27] Like this is terrible, Brian.
[00:25:30] And they were manageable songs for them.
[00:25:31] They weren't manageable.
[00:25:32] They handled them great.
[00:25:35] Thought it was fine.
[00:25:36] I had a good time with the karaoke.
[00:25:37] See, I thought it was really great.
[00:25:39] That's all I'm saying.
[00:25:40] Sweet baby Brian.
[00:25:41] Thank you man.
[00:25:42] That was also by the way, if you didn't know
[00:25:44] that was what Brian yelled.
[00:25:46] This is the worst scene of the year.
[00:25:49] Your feels was Brandon Gray's worst scene of the year.
[00:25:55] Somebody can dissect that.
[00:25:57] I'll just keep moving on.
[00:25:58] I still think that you went,
[00:26:00] what's the most Brian thing to say in this episode?
[00:26:03] It's the karaoke was my feels.
[00:26:05] You can't have possibly done that
[00:26:06] and not thought you were gonna get this reaction, right?
[00:26:09] No, I didn't think.
[00:26:10] I didn't think it was this bad to everybody else.
[00:26:13] I thought it was pretty good.
[00:26:16] The karaoke usually I hate.
[00:26:18] Usually to me it's just so cringy.
[00:26:19] The songs are terrible.
[00:26:21] They're clearly lip-syncing horribly.
[00:26:23] This, I don't know, they did it well together.
[00:26:26] It's worth for me.
[00:26:27] Be honest, did you microdust before this movie?
[00:26:29] Yes.
[00:26:30] This movie?
[00:26:31] There's no shame on that.
[00:26:31] Do you have a few future-
[00:26:33] You were a sponsor.
[00:26:34] Actually maybe I did.
[00:26:35] Maybe that's part of it.
[00:26:37] Maybe I had a little something.
[00:26:40] Dude, that is the best advertise.
[00:26:41] I had a long day of screaming at my kids
[00:26:44] and I cracked my knuckle,
[00:26:46] separating my fighting kids.
[00:26:48] So I said, you know what, tonight?
[00:26:50] Just take it easy.
[00:26:51] That is the best ad for microdust
[00:26:53] you've ever heard in your life.
[00:26:55] Microdust gummies.
[00:26:56] Yup.
[00:26:57] Falling 11 Niagara works.
[00:27:00] All right, I don't even know if the code still works
[00:27:02] but just put it in the description.
[00:27:03] I don't even know what to do.
[00:27:04] Do you have it close by what the code is?
[00:27:06] But it's something.
[00:27:07] We'll find it and we'll let everybody know.
[00:27:09] Works.
[00:27:10] It works.
[00:27:11] You don't need a code.
[00:27:12] It works.
[00:27:13] That's all you need.
[00:27:17] I have not you.
[00:27:18] I what I,
[00:27:19] You didn't have a feels at all.
[00:27:21] The song, him playing guitar.
[00:27:23] Not, oh my gosh.
[00:27:25] You're gonna make brand implode.
[00:27:27] I mean the good playing is horrible
[00:27:29] but just the song itself you didn't like
[00:27:32] that he wrote and now you hated that.
[00:27:33] All right.
[00:27:34] Just throwing stuff out.
[00:27:35] The falls were nice.
[00:27:36] The falls were great.
[00:27:37] Search bar found nothing.
[00:27:38] Let's take a break.
[00:27:39] Thanks.
[00:27:40] We're back.
[00:27:51] What a time to be alive.
[00:27:53] It's not for the way what is where we talk about Brian Herald.
[00:27:56] No, it's where we talk about what in this movie is going what?
[00:28:01] Brian.
[00:28:02] Dude, how about that karaoke scene?
[00:28:03] You know what I'm saying?
[00:28:04] It wasn't.
[00:28:05] It was a way what I have it down here.
[00:28:07] You do.
[00:28:07] Good.
[00:28:08] I can't wait to hear that.
[00:28:08] What was it?
[00:28:10] What I have down.
[00:28:12] All right, for real, maybe wait what maybe so the travel
[00:28:15] company seems to be in a little financial trouble.
[00:28:17] Maybe they should stop buying oversized matching leather
[00:28:23] sofas and filling their office with giant oversized
[00:28:26] furniture oversized furniture for an oversized office.
[00:28:29] These are two people that run a fledgling travel tour guide
[00:28:34] company and they have an office that's bigger than our office.
[00:28:38] Mm hmm.
[00:28:38] And now I did have one thought on this, which is the our main
[00:28:43] character and her sister do show up at the office for their
[00:28:46] tour.
[00:28:47] So if you have a big tour and maybe they need to wait or
[00:28:51] something for things to get situation or they're ready to
[00:28:53] go, go sit down on those giant.
[00:28:55] The tour companies don't use that space to as the
[00:29:01] meeting space.
[00:29:01] They pick you up like the whole thing about tour companies
[00:29:05] I'm just saying that's what that but that's what happened.
[00:29:07] And this is just a whole of the wall place to run your
[00:29:09] business and answer phones.
[00:29:11] Nobody's supposed to see that they're doing it.
[00:29:12] They're doing it different and different wrong.
[00:29:15] You come to us.
[00:29:16] They got giant couches.
[00:29:18] Yeah, well, they don't actually do their job.
[00:29:20] That's different.
[00:29:20] I can get to that way.
[00:29:21] What later if you don't get to or yeah, they don't
[00:29:23] actually do or not want like he doesn't do his job at
[00:29:26] all.
[00:29:26] No, no.
[00:29:27] Like if these are the only two people that are there
[00:29:29] that whole week, then of course they're losing money.
[00:29:32] Yeah.
[00:29:32] All kinds of it.
[00:29:33] And she's on the tour with them a lot of the time.
[00:29:36] Like you need to be doing other work.
[00:29:37] Yeah, yeah.
[00:29:38] So the whole yeah, the tour part of it was a joke.
[00:29:41] She opens her fridge in the beginning and she has a juice
[00:29:43] for every single day.
[00:29:44] Here it is.
[00:29:45] Let's go.
[00:29:45] Let's talk.
[00:29:46] Go for it.
[00:29:46] She takes what Thursday?
[00:29:47] She takes Thursday.
[00:29:49] Wednesday is still Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday are all
[00:29:53] still there and still made.
[00:29:55] She didn't replace Thursday after she took it out.
[00:29:57] She does it at night.
[00:29:58] So she whips it up at night.
[00:30:00] Yeah.
[00:30:01] Constantly a week ahead on her drinks.
[00:30:03] Yes.
[00:30:03] That means when she drinks Monday, she then makes a new
[00:30:08] Monday and it sits for, for men's for a week.
[00:30:13] Basically seven full days.
[00:30:15] Yeah.
[00:30:15] You need to just sit there.
[00:30:16] That is not good.
[00:30:18] No.
[00:30:18] Just make it.
[00:30:19] Just whip it up in a blender.
[00:30:21] I was like, what are they?
[00:30:22] I get what they're going for here, but what a weird.
[00:30:25] It just threw me off for a few minutes.
[00:30:26] I was like, I couldn't get over it.
[00:30:28] Yeah.
[00:30:28] I couldn't get over labeled like you like my wife
[00:30:31] preps for her week.
[00:30:33] Every Sunday.
[00:30:34] I am married to someone like that and thankful that I am.
[00:30:37] There is no world where she is making her week's worth of
[00:30:41] stuff and on Monday when she uses what she made for her
[00:30:44] Monday lunch or whatever, that she replaces it.
[00:30:47] How good is fresh juice good for?
[00:30:50] Like if you make it in your house, how long can it...
[00:30:52] The whole point is for it to be fresh.
[00:30:55] If you're sitting there.
[00:30:55] Yeah, you just have it.
[00:30:56] Yeah.
[00:30:57] A few days a week probably over a week is probably
[00:31:00] not going to be.
[00:31:00] Yeah, absolutely not.
[00:31:00] Absolutely not.
[00:31:02] But also don't label them.
[00:31:03] Like why are we labeled?
[00:31:04] Just have a bunch sitting in there.
[00:31:05] Should ask Andrew Walker about that.
[00:31:07] Yeah.
[00:31:07] He probably, I wonder if he would know.
[00:31:09] He would know.
[00:31:09] He would know.
[00:31:10] So that one person that would know.
[00:31:11] The one person in the whole universe.
[00:31:14] Scrolling through, she was scrolling through recent picks
[00:31:16] on her phone and they were...
[00:31:17] Yeah, this is great.
[00:31:18] Yeah, this is phenomenal.
[00:31:20] She gets to the first one she took of her trip with Mike
[00:31:23] and then her very, her last picture that she took
[00:31:26] before that was of her engagement, which was months ago,
[00:31:29] a year ago.
[00:31:30] Yeah.
[00:31:30] She was taking a long time ago.
[00:31:32] She hasn't taken a single picture.
[00:31:33] Nothing else.
[00:31:34] She hasn't had a dessert or made anything that she's...
[00:31:37] No.
[00:31:37] She's wanted to take a pic.
[00:31:38] Are you kidding me?
[00:31:40] This sister didn't take a single picture at the wedding
[00:31:42] ceremony but held the camera the whole time.
[00:31:44] Yeah, at least she wasn't being paid for that.
[00:31:46] You know, I'm nervous.
[00:31:46] Yeah, so.
[00:31:48] That's it for me.
[00:31:50] Okay, so Jeremy comes in at the beginning of this
[00:31:52] movie and is like, where are my socks?
[00:31:54] Did you took my...
[00:31:55] She took the laundry without him knowing.
[00:31:59] That's great.
[00:32:00] Did the laundry folded it super kind of her?
[00:32:02] He's like, where are my socks?
[00:32:03] Where are my lucky socks?
[00:32:05] And the first place he goes because he sees the clothes
[00:32:07] folded is to look through all of his pants.
[00:32:10] Yeah, the stack of pants.
[00:32:12] Why would the socks be in the pants?
[00:32:15] Socks wouldn't be in the pants.
[00:32:16] Socks can't be in the pants.
[00:32:17] Socks are in socks.
[00:32:19] Socks are in socks.
[00:32:20] Yes, wouldn't be in the pants.
[00:32:21] Socks wouldn't be in the pants.
[00:32:26] We joked a little bit about it in the synopsis,
[00:32:28] but he does brag about getting last minute tickets
[00:32:32] to the empty Skywheel.
[00:32:34] The Skywheel couldn't be less empty.
[00:32:36] I don't know why this is like, look what I scored.
[00:32:40] That's something you say about Bruce Springsteen tickets.
[00:32:42] Not the Skywheel.
[00:32:43] Old Bon Jovi.
[00:32:44] Yeah, old Bon Jovi.
[00:32:48] He is like, I got, look at these.
[00:32:49] There's not a line.
[00:32:51] No one else is there at the Skywheel.
[00:32:53] You can't score last minute Skywheel tickets.
[00:32:56] It's impossible.
[00:32:58] That sentence is not fact.
[00:33:00] It's you can't do it.
[00:33:02] They're not last.
[00:33:03] They're always either it's open or it's closed.
[00:33:06] It's not a concert.
[00:33:07] It's open every day.
[00:33:10] There is no last minute.
[00:33:11] There is no score.
[00:33:12] It's just, I got, I purchased them.
[00:33:14] I got us some tickets to the Skywheel.
[00:33:16] That's all you gotta say.
[00:33:17] I saw there was no line.
[00:33:19] I walked over to the Skywheel.
[00:33:21] I walked over and I got tickets.
[00:33:22] And here they are on my hand.
[00:33:23] I scored last minute.
[00:33:24] I scored them.
[00:33:25] I scored last minute.
[00:33:27] I scored them because I was wide open.
[00:33:29] There's no one in my position.
[00:33:31] He was saying last minute implies that normally you have to get a reservation.
[00:33:35] Like normally you gotta like months in advance.
[00:33:37] I know a guy.
[00:33:38] I did a tour for him.
[00:33:39] I scalped some Skywheel boys.
[00:33:41] Johnny's Skywheel.
[00:33:43] Hey, don't worry about it.
[00:33:45] So you found him on stuff.
[00:33:47] What are you talking about?
[00:33:48] So freaking Skywheel man.
[00:33:49] That's what you tell the tourists.
[00:33:51] That's right.
[00:33:51] They're on the Skywheel.
[00:33:54] This is a classic.
[00:33:54] And Madeline's sister and other guy are putting down below on the ground.
[00:34:02] Yes.
[00:34:03] Not in Skywheel.
[00:34:04] And they look up and they see that Skywheel.
[00:34:06] Skywheel has stopped moving.
[00:34:09] Skywheel is now stopped moving.
[00:34:11] That's right.
[00:34:11] And her sister says, oh no.
[00:34:16] My sister's always been scared of getting stuck on top of a ride.
[00:34:21] What an interesting way to say she's afraid of heights.
[00:34:24] It is such a specific thing to say.
[00:34:28] And also, oh no.
[00:34:30] She's always been afraid of getting stuck on top of a ride.
[00:34:31] She has a lifelong fear of getting stuck on top of a ride.
[00:34:35] Why did she get on the ride?
[00:34:39] He scored these precious tickets.
[00:34:40] He scored the tickets.
[00:34:41] And also they're not stuck.
[00:34:44] The thing about a Skywheel is,
[00:34:45] is that when you come down, you got to get off of the thing.
[00:34:48] Right.
[00:34:49] So it stops constantly.
[00:34:51] Right.
[00:34:52] There's no stuck.
[00:34:55] That whole scene is beyond absurd.
[00:34:58] It's crazy.
[00:35:00] But Brian loved it.
[00:35:01] Thought it was a thought-fake.
[00:35:01] One of the best of the year.
[00:35:03] He does say it would be unethical for him to have a crush on a client.
[00:35:08] Like, is there an ethics board for the tourism committee?
[00:35:12] Yes.
[00:35:12] Like he's never had a crush on someone he's been on to.
[00:35:17] Very professional.
[00:35:18] It's not even like to have a relationship.
[00:35:19] It would be unethical to have even a crush on someone that he's giving a tour to.
[00:35:25] The karaoke scene, as he said.
[00:35:27] Brian loves his feels.
[00:35:28] It didn't bother you at all that the stage monitors were behind them facing outwards.
[00:35:35] So there would definitely be mad feedback.
[00:35:36] Hey, how about this guy with the stage monitor joke?
[00:35:38] Mad feedback.
[00:35:38] This rift.
[00:35:40] Mad feedback.
[00:35:41] They didn't bother you at all?
[00:35:42] Angry.
[00:35:42] Yeah.
[00:35:43] The nice thing is, once again, the mics were not plugged in.
[00:35:48] I know it doesn't bother people.
[00:35:50] But if it's a wireless mic, great.
[00:35:54] But if you can see the bottom and you see the prongs at the bottom, it's a corded mic.
[00:36:00] Just plug in a cord.
[00:36:02] Plug in a cord.
[00:36:03] Just what, Erin?
[00:36:04] What?
[00:36:05] I want you to mute that.
[00:36:06] Wow.
[00:36:06] Oh, thank you.
[00:36:07] Sorry.
[00:36:07] You like that?
[00:36:08] You want it?
[00:36:08] You over there?
[00:36:09] I just feel attacked.
[00:36:10] Mr. Support is over here.
[00:36:12] Mr. Support?
[00:36:13] I feel attacked, Mr. Champion.
[00:36:14] No, thank you for speaking up.
[00:36:15] You can mute me.
[00:36:16] Thank you for speaking up and never stop speaking up.
[00:36:20] You can mute me.
[00:36:20] Except what he's yelling at you.
[00:36:22] I'm going to take a quick nap until sound check, wait what's are done over there.
[00:36:28] Last but not least.
[00:36:29] Go ahead.
[00:36:29] So you're fine.
[00:36:31] You're going to be upset about Bran talking about some actual technical difficulties,
[00:36:34] but you're not going to sleep through Brian's love for the karaoke.
[00:36:39] I couldn't.
[00:36:39] I was too shocked.
[00:36:41] It's like trying to sleep through a nightmare.
[00:36:42] You know what I mean?
[00:36:42] Like I was just like, I couldn't believe it.
[00:36:44] I feel like if you're going to give some Brian some grace,
[00:36:46] you should give Bran some grace.
[00:36:47] I didn't give Brian any grace.
[00:36:48] Thank you, Erin.
[00:36:49] Yeah, I caught a lot there.
[00:36:50] Last but not least.
[00:36:51] I stood behind and beside it.
[00:36:53] And next to it.
[00:36:53] The whole tower also bothered by the mics.
[00:36:55] So thank you.
[00:36:56] The lead mic?
[00:36:57] The lead.
[00:36:58] The whole mic.
[00:36:58] All of it.
[00:36:59] All of it.
[00:36:59] The mic.
[00:36:59] The open mic.
[00:37:00] The open mic.
[00:37:00] The open mic is open.
[00:37:02] Monitor's the wrong way.
[00:37:03] Plus the place.
[00:37:04] The end is not wireless.
[00:37:05] You know what?
[00:37:06] I'll just save it for what the hallmark.
[00:37:07] Ben?
[00:37:09] Madeline, who supposedly is so rigid.
[00:37:13] I can't.
[00:37:13] I can't.
[00:37:14] It's a good and great job.
[00:37:15] It's good.
[00:37:15] It's good.
[00:37:15] It's good.
[00:37:16] Is so rigid and has planned everything to the hilt
[00:37:19] is planning her honeymoon for the first time
[00:37:22] five weeks before they get married.
[00:37:24] Five weeks.
[00:37:25] As someone who is not regimented like Madeline,
[00:37:29] I would have planned my honeymoon,
[00:37:32] I don't know, three or four months early at least.
[00:37:36] She is five weeks out doing this in a rush.
[00:37:39] That is crazy.
[00:37:40] That does not fit her personality at all.
[00:37:42] It's absurd.
[00:37:44] This guy's playing guitar on a bench right by Niagara Falls
[00:37:47] and wants some peace and quiet.
[00:37:48] I don't like, I don't know what you want from me buddy.
[00:37:51] You picked maybe the loudest bench
[00:37:55] in all of that area of Canada.
[00:37:58] You could go to any other bench that's not
[00:38:00] right by the biggest waterfall in the country.
[00:38:03] I could help you there.
[00:38:07] I may need some help from my photography friends here.
[00:38:12] All I know is this is when I got married,
[00:38:14] we paid our photographer $2,500 in 2006
[00:38:19] and that was for one day.
[00:38:22] That was for one day of taking pictures
[00:38:23] and then all the development and touchups
[00:38:25] and everything else, right?
[00:38:27] Touchups is where they spend most of the money.
[00:38:28] Yeah, that's a lot of time.
[00:38:29] For me, are you kidding me right now?
[00:38:31] This person offers $5,000 for five full days of photography
[00:38:40] and she, the sister Harley is like, that's just so much money.
[00:38:45] That's a rip-off.
[00:38:46] That is five full days of you taking pictures all day.
[00:38:50] That's where your work begins.
[00:38:53] Like begins not like, if you have $5,000
[00:38:59] just for the 60 hours you worked in those five days,
[00:39:02] okay, fine.
[00:39:03] That's not bad I guess.
[00:39:04] But a photographer charges based upon all the work
[00:39:07] they have to do after the pictures have been taken.
[00:39:10] I can't imagine a professional photographer
[00:39:12] taking that kind of money.
[00:39:14] Excuse me.
[00:39:16] No, thank you.
[00:39:17] All right, thanks Trace.
[00:39:18] Appreciate that.
[00:39:18] Both Trace and Rick this week.
[00:39:20] Trace, how are you doing?
[00:39:21] I'm doing great.
[00:39:21] Thank you for asking.
[00:39:22] Good.
[00:39:23] Good, good, good.
[00:39:24] Glad.
[00:39:24] Anything else?
[00:39:25] I'm having my bar mitzvah.
[00:39:27] Your what?
[00:39:28] My bar mitzvah.
[00:39:30] Ball time.
[00:39:32] I don't know if I want to ask any more questions.
[00:39:35] You shouldn't.
[00:39:36] What's the theme?
[00:39:37] What, no, Brian.
[00:39:39] What is it you're having and don't just say that again.
[00:39:43] What is it that you're having?
[00:39:45] I realize I've gone too far.
[00:39:47] Yeah.
[00:39:47] I've said too much.
[00:39:48] Thank you.
[00:39:49] Thank you.
[00:39:49] Thank you.
[00:39:50] Thank you.
[00:39:50] Thank you.
[00:39:51] That's Trace for those of you that are on the spot.
[00:39:53] Speaker Steve said I can't say anything else.
[00:39:54] Speaker Steve probably wise on this part.
[00:39:56] Very wise.
[00:39:57] First bout to slowly.
[00:39:58] Shout out for spab.
[00:39:59] This is a lot of people said it wouldn't make it this long.
[00:40:04] COVID economy economy.
[00:40:08] Thank you.
[00:40:11] Anything else?
[00:40:12] Trace, those two things.
[00:40:14] Um, I was offended by the montage and the red lobster came to make anymore.
[00:40:19] Yep.
[00:40:20] They can't.
[00:40:20] They went bankrupt.
[00:40:21] That's exactly right.
[00:40:21] About this.
[00:40:22] Lily not for spab.
[00:40:23] This is Lily.
[00:40:23] So we're a non-profit.
[00:40:25] So thriving.
[00:40:26] You don't need the profit.
[00:40:27] We're up to 17 people.
[00:40:32] Go ahead.
[00:40:33] That's no problem.
[00:40:34] I was offended by the montage of this movie.
[00:40:37] They've known each other for a week and we got a montage of that week.
[00:40:42] That's it.
[00:40:43] That was that.
[00:40:43] Like you can't montage a week.
[00:40:46] It's a week you just met.
[00:40:48] There's just not it's all of it.
[00:40:50] You can't do that.
[00:40:52] Someone does say this line and I know it made sense in the movie.
[00:40:54] I just felt like this line needs to be repeated.
[00:40:58] I can't do this right now.
[00:41:00] I'm supposed to go to my tour guides open mic night.
[00:41:02] And that is you.
[00:41:05] This is someone you don't know well enough.
[00:41:08] Yeah, out of context.
[00:41:09] It's a little weird to call by their name.
[00:41:12] Listen, I can't do this right now.
[00:41:15] I'm supposed to go to my tour guides open mic night.
[00:41:19] Okay.
[00:41:21] That is a big deal to rust me.
[00:41:24] My tour guide doesn't just open mic night all the time.
[00:41:28] It's a big deal.
[00:41:29] This marriage is wild brand covered in the synopsis.
[00:41:31] It's wild.
[00:41:32] The guy who is supposed to be nautical because we put an anchor on his lapel here.
[00:41:37] What a time you're getting married and it's supposed to be a nautical themed
[00:41:41] marriage but wedding, but it's on land.
[00:41:45] I'm very, very confused.
[00:41:47] All aboard for marriage and but they don't get on board a ship of any kind.
[00:41:51] It was wild out there.
[00:41:52] That's all I got.
[00:41:54] It's time for the home.
[00:41:55] That's where we wonder what could have been maybe having some clarity.
[00:41:57] Any questions that we still have?
[00:41:58] Brian, what are you still wondering about buddy?
[00:42:00] So yeah, the coloring in this movie, the color of the shirts,
[00:42:04] the color of the accessories, the background.
[00:42:06] There was a lot technical a lot of yellow and blue and red and orange.
[00:42:13] Primarily, but I noticed yellow and blue more than anything.
[00:42:16] And it seemed like multiple scenes in a row.
[00:42:19] Mike was wearing just a yellow shirt and I'm like again with the yellow
[00:42:22] shirt, a lot of yellow shirts.
[00:42:23] So my theory on it is that I don't this is I don't know how
[00:42:27] closest could be, but the only tie, a possible tie I could find was
[00:42:32] Masha who played Harley, the sister.
[00:42:36] She immigrated to Canada during the Yucca-Slav War.
[00:42:41] And so my serious?
[00:42:43] Yeah, yeah.
[00:42:44] Like she really did.
[00:42:45] Yeah.
[00:42:45] Yeah.
[00:42:46] Her family, they immigrated as refugees during the war.
[00:42:50] And my only thought was maybe it's a like a Ukraine show of support for refugees.
[00:42:56] And so a lot of blue and yellow, that's all I could think of was
[00:43:00] their show of support.
[00:43:01] Do you think this movie that Hallmark showed on Saturday nights
[00:43:03] making a political statement?
[00:43:04] I think it's just she was she went through this experience
[00:43:08] and she was like, there's a lot of people going through this.
[00:43:10] I want to let them know I'm thinking of them type of thing.
[00:43:13] And that's the only thing I could think that was like
[00:43:15] a reasonable explanation other than just like you said,
[00:43:18] we're just going to pick a palette of colors and use it.
[00:43:20] And that's all there was just so much blue and yellow that I'm like,
[00:43:23] this has to be something like a show of support.
[00:43:26] Cool if true.
[00:43:27] Let's cut to Brian trying to move as far away from you as possible.
[00:43:33] Offended.
[00:43:34] Cool if true.
[00:43:35] What were you, what was Trace talking about?
[00:43:36] I'm sorry, go ahead.
[00:43:39] Apparently we can't get into it.
[00:43:41] Yeah.
[00:43:42] But I believe First Baptist Lily is having
[00:43:44] thriving.
[00:43:46] I don't want to, I don't know why you would do this, Brian.
[00:43:48] Never mind.
[00:43:49] My what the hallmark is you mentioned the wedding, Dan,
[00:43:54] and just how the wedding was weird in general.
[00:43:57] I do need to something's off about these two individuals that got married.
[00:44:04] There's a lot off about them.
[00:44:06] But in particular, if you are going to have a private small wedding ceremony
[00:44:16] at Niagara Falls with a captain on land,
[00:44:20] you don't invite two random people that you just met.
[00:44:23] You don't know you just don't because it's that it's a private.
[00:44:26] You've you've told friends, family don't come.
[00:44:29] Right.
[00:44:30] It's just the two of us.
[00:44:32] Because the only thing I can assume seeing as how there were no friends and family
[00:44:35] at the wedding, you know, they must not, you know,
[00:44:38] they must have wanted to be a private thing.
[00:44:40] And now they had invitations made,
[00:44:44] which means they went to a place had invitations made for no one else other than these two people.
[00:44:50] So only two people that were invited to the wedding or Madeleine and Mike over there.
[00:44:57] Jason, but if I just want to throw a scenario at you, let's just say hypothetically,
[00:45:02] you guys are at Niagara Falls.
[00:45:06] You meet a couple and, you know, you have a you have a good time.
[00:45:10] They then you go to you go open mic.
[00:45:11] You do karaoke.
[00:45:12] They hand you a wedding invitation.
[00:45:14] Yeah.
[00:45:14] And you go, all right.
[00:45:16] Well, I guess I guess I'll go.
[00:45:20] In the scenario where you go, if you walk up and you see that no one is there,
[00:45:28] are you sticking around?
[00:45:30] Or are you like, oh, no, these people are killers.
[00:45:32] Like I think I'm walking up and going,
[00:45:37] this might not end well for me.
[00:45:39] Well, if they might have invited me here to kill me.
[00:45:42] If they said, if they didn't make any mention of it, like this was supposed to be a private
[00:45:46] wedding, but we'd love to.
[00:45:47] They hand them invitations, which imply we sent out a tradition, which they clearly didn't do.
[00:45:53] Didn't do, but they just hired a photographer like while they were there.
[00:45:56] Yeah.
[00:45:57] Yeah.
[00:45:57] I would, I would not attend.
[00:45:59] This is pretty straightforward.
[00:46:00] Yeah.
[00:46:01] That and I wouldn't share a dinner table with people,
[00:46:03] which I forgot about that happened in this movie where you walk into a restaurant
[00:46:07] and they're like, oh, we don't have room for you.
[00:46:08] And like, you can join us.
[00:46:10] Are you kidding?
[00:46:10] No, I'm good.
[00:46:11] I'm not going to there.
[00:46:12] You either do private Niagara Falls wedding or you do a full wedding.
[00:46:18] You don't do a private one and say, let's invite the two people from the thing.
[00:46:22] Yeah.
[00:46:22] Let's do that.
[00:46:22] Like we'll go whip up some invites real quick.
[00:46:24] We'll whip them up.
[00:46:25] We'll have a good time.
[00:46:26] That's why there are no photos being taken.
[00:46:28] They're like, we cannot have evidence.
[00:46:29] The photographer that they hired for $1,000 a day decided the wedding is not the time
[00:46:36] when they want pictures.
[00:46:37] There's no way.
[00:46:38] They'll remember.
[00:46:38] They were scary.
[00:46:39] They were.
[00:46:40] I don't know about them.
[00:46:41] I don't know about them.
[00:46:42] Yeah, I'm saying we did everybody.
[00:46:43] Congratulations.
[00:46:45] Dan, did you go?
[00:46:46] I didn't go, but thanks, brain.
[00:46:47] I appreciate you not acknowledging.
[00:46:49] No, no, I just did.
[00:46:50] I just I literally just did double decker of the week.
[00:46:53] So there's a lot happening that I was excited about.
[00:46:55] No, I was excited about double day.
[00:46:56] That's what I was trying to get to.
[00:46:57] Yeah.
[00:46:58] Well, just say I went.
[00:46:59] What is that?
[00:47:00] We did falling in love and Niagara.
[00:47:02] So we're double decker of the week is where we talk about somebody who
[00:47:05] signed up for program gen plus at the double deck or tier or higher.
[00:47:08] Brian, you've been given the keys to the kingdom.
[00:47:10] So to speak.
[00:47:11] And you do a lot of research on these people a little bit too much.
[00:47:14] Sometimes not enough other times others.
[00:47:17] Let's find out what we have in store for us today.
[00:47:21] Dan, who do we have this week's double decker is Karen Scanlon.
[00:47:26] Oh, yeah.
[00:47:29] Karen is really doing what this country has always done.
[00:47:33] You know how like in the United States,
[00:47:36] we take things from around the world.
[00:47:37] So many things running through my head.
[00:47:39] I'm not going to say because Karen.
[00:47:40] It's fine.
[00:47:41] We'll get the racism.
[00:47:43] No, no, no, no guys.
[00:47:46] You know, like around the world, people will do things and the United States.
[00:47:49] We just like do it.
[00:47:50] Make it a little better.
[00:47:51] And we put our America spin on it.
[00:47:53] A little better like, you know, soccer.
[00:47:56] How what have we changed about education?
[00:47:59] Yeah.
[00:47:59] What have we changed?
[00:47:59] What have we done better about education?
[00:48:03] Those are two really interesting pizza would be a good railroads.
[00:48:07] You know, all the things we just railroads.
[00:48:09] Some things we take and we put our spin on.
[00:48:13] We just don't have them really.
[00:48:14] We have more railroads than we don't have electric rails.
[00:48:18] No, we don't have the fast rail.
[00:48:19] We don't have the fast rail.
[00:48:20] So we take and we put our spin on stuff.
[00:48:22] We make it our own.
[00:48:23] And so Karen saw an opportunity here.
[00:48:25] I agree with you.
[00:48:26] I want to be clear, but the examples you've given,
[00:48:28] I don't agree with you.
[00:48:29] Is it just that we call football soccer?
[00:48:31] Yeah.
[00:48:32] Is that the spin?
[00:48:32] That was the spin.
[00:48:33] Oh, okay.
[00:48:33] That's the spin.
[00:48:34] But there is one thing Karen saw happening.
[00:48:37] Probably over in Europe, I think she spent some time there.
[00:48:40] Everybody knows that about Karen where she said,
[00:48:42] I'm going to take this back to the United States
[00:48:44] and do the U S thing with it.
[00:48:45] Make it a lot better.
[00:48:47] All right.
[00:48:47] Great.
[00:48:48] In England, you familiar the T and the T time, right?
[00:48:51] T time.
[00:48:52] Yes.
[00:48:52] Classic.
[00:48:53] She said in the United States,
[00:48:55] I got this great idea.
[00:48:55] We're going to start T and crumpets in the United States
[00:49:00] in the American way.
[00:49:02] And so they, this is a little cultural thing.
[00:49:06] She's kicking off here.
[00:49:07] We're going to do some T and crumpets.
[00:49:08] Great.
[00:49:08] It's looking like you trust you.
[00:49:09] What's the, what's the...
[00:49:10] It's pretty straightforward.
[00:49:12] We're just going to have some T.
[00:49:13] Get your biscuit in your cookie.
[00:49:15] Yeah.
[00:49:15] You eat it off the little napkin.
[00:49:17] Yeah.
[00:49:17] You're oily.
[00:49:17] What have you?
[00:49:18] Afterwards, you brush your crumbs right into the pile,
[00:49:21] create your crumpet, and you've had T and crumpets.
[00:49:25] Nice.
[00:49:26] Because you know this in England.
[00:49:28] The crumbs are everywhere.
[00:49:29] Like what are we doing?
[00:49:30] Such a waste.
[00:49:31] And so Karen said, we're going to collect these.
[00:49:33] We're going to do something good with them.
[00:49:35] Just like we've done with everything else.
[00:49:36] What are you doing?
[00:49:37] What are they doing good with the crumbs?
[00:49:39] Well, that's the, that's up to...
[00:49:40] What's the crumpets do?
[00:49:41] This is what I think we're actually going to be able to vote on this.
[00:49:43] Bacteria is starting to grow in them stuff?
[00:49:45] The upcoming election.
[00:49:46] No.
[00:49:46] It's got to be a proposition.
[00:49:48] It's actually, one of the ideas was as a an apology to England for spilling all that T
[00:49:54] a long time ago.
[00:49:55] Maybe we just dump all these crumbs on England.
[00:49:56] You think something that America does apologize for it?
[00:49:59] Maybe.
[00:50:01] We do it better than anybody.
[00:50:03] So T and crumpets, a little revolutionary idea.
[00:50:06] Oh, Karen here.
[00:50:07] A little spin on a pit.
[00:50:11] Pit made of crumbs.
[00:50:12] The crumbs.
[00:50:13] How big a pit we talking?
[00:50:15] It's going to get pretty big.
[00:50:16] We're going to need to figure that out actually.
[00:50:18] That's part of the problem.
[00:50:20] Well, we've gotten the trash situation figured out.
[00:50:22] So I'm sure we'll figure this out.
[00:50:22] Yeah.
[00:50:23] What's a few crumbs on top of the trash?
[00:50:25] In the chat somebody said, yeah, it's a lot like rigged cigarette.
[00:50:27] It's a lot like the butts out.
[00:50:30] Yeah.
[00:50:30] That's right along the lines there.
[00:50:32] We did everybody.
[00:50:33] Congratulations.
[00:50:33] We'll be back tomorrow.
[00:50:34] We got a big now that we've now that we've done it.
[00:50:37] Technically there is another movie in April,
[00:50:40] but we're talking about it in May.
[00:50:42] It doesn't matter.
[00:50:43] Yeah.
[00:50:43] Preview episodes, ranking episodes.
[00:50:45] It doesn't matter.
[00:50:45] We're going to we're going to rank the movie so far.
[00:50:47] That's what we're going to do and it's going to be a lot of fun until then.
[00:50:50] Actually, one calls the hearts tomorrow.
[00:50:51] I spoke of this big.
[00:50:52] Merry Christmas.
[00:50:54] Merry Christmas.
