[00:00:55] Prepare yourself. I know you have nothing but time immersed in the ample time You're not up against a schedule with your other job at all No, it's all science field delivered all the time. Yeah, how's it going actually I did start this

[00:01:10] Whoa, I forgot about it this weekend, which I didn't because I had some downtime I forgot about this weekend, which I did because I wish I didn't I wish I didn't Wish I had not forgotten about did you forget or did you not forget it?

[00:01:26] I forgot so we continue watching it this weekend, but I started I forget man One and a half okay We're gonna need a different It's clearly Aaron for the third chair right I could you said I needed to see one to the Christmas

[00:01:43] And then what something I was joking Postables are I don't know if you know this about not seeing them all they're pretty serious Brian why they just are Because trust the timing Brian Trust the time I Think they're overreacting a little bit. I think I got it

[00:03:36] We love our city and one of my favorite parts of bramble fest there's so many to choose from But just knowing that people are coming from across the country to our little city of Greenville, South Carolina. Yeah that one Makes me really happy

[00:03:46] I love that people get to experience Greenville And it is such a great city that some people have just moved here because right because of their experience Actually moved to Greenville, it's that wonderful. It's crazy weird. Yeah. Yeah greenville is big on tick-tock right now. There's a

[00:04:03] Know about this Why do I need to care about this tall guy Because tick-tock cares he fell in love on air and it was so sweet on air They were like filming a video on her Instagram and they are her tick-tock, which I thank you Respect

[00:04:25] Their chemistry was flowing and they were like flirting and they were just not that altitude To like meet up in a romantic way. They were just there to know co-collaborate on some content But then he asked her out and they've just been living this whirlwind romance and sometimes

[00:04:42] They're in Greenville because he lives here. And so where does he live? I have no idea. He didn't give his address. That was a trick He seems to be in a happy relationship, so I know boundaries you sure do What were you is that what you're talking about

[00:05:05] Yeah, it's a big deal right now. Yeah tall. Yeah big and tall Tall on Tall on tick-tock is that called tall talk tick-tock? No Thank you You don't get the tickle thing. I don't understand it. I don't get the appeal and stuff. I get it obviously

[00:05:30] Should we talk about finding Santa a Christmas classic for the ages? It's Jody Sweden. How rude? Yeah, how rude it's true and it's on home reviews now, so there's that great out Honestly, stop it good experience save me a number

[00:05:47] I had a good I had a good safe. You always say it's easy. I had a good safe experience I will I tried to Yes, I try I tried to log in and it was like log in from your phone and it wouldn't let me

[00:06:01] It kept just refreshing the screen You know you don't use your TV and I because it was so much easier than having to type it on the screen Oh, you can't skip you can't try it. No, it's you know, what makes me mad about the app

[00:06:12] Much makes me mad about the app and normally it's unsafe to you know, like, you know, we sell your data It's great with a roku You can just use the arrows and it will go backwards but in this one they have this little hooker thing that

[00:06:27] That I see I see the little hooker arrow. Yeah, and I think that's how you go back to the beginning No, that's how you go back 10 seconds the button to go back to the beginnings a different but different button if it's another door

[00:06:44] Finding Santa November 24th 2017 and one little something that this grace is all about that Christmas about that Christmas. No Easter She I wrote it down too, yeah, it was a thing I Was a pre-planning was a pre-planned

[00:07:02] All about that. Are you gonna say no Easter? Yeah, I thought it was cool, dude Thank you, Dan. A lot of people might think that you were being starkey Sarcastic there. I wasn't you weren't you thought it was real cool, man

[00:07:16] I thought it was so cool. Hashtag tall talk tall talk. I'll talk She runs a year-round Christmas store and it rules there's snow and stuff She's organizing the Christmas party for the first time and it's gonna be a big deal

[00:07:28] The network is involved even when the network is involved and it's pretty serious And she has nothing to worry about because they have the perfect Santa Santa Tom

[00:07:40] And one day Santa Tom is exiting his sleigh when he slips on some snow and breaks his arm. So unfortunately Santa Tom He's out. He's out of commission. He can't be Santa with a broken arm

[00:07:52] Can't do it that'll kids will be asking questions. You can't have I can't have that and so they hold auditions for Santa And it does not go well really, the only option is the the mayor's son and he wamps and so

[00:08:07] That's when Tom's wife Holly recommends their son Ben. Tom is like I want to get your homes up Ben's anti you write that too. I don't want your homes up. I don't want to eat your hopes up

[00:08:19] He's anti Santa but grace tries anyway and Ben is like your fan I am yeah I'm not I'm not a Santa. I'm a writer And everyone knows the first rule of writing is only right you don't do anything else

[00:08:35] You don't fill your time with a lot of things and then write everything last second. You don't do that You're right. So she ends up giving another pitch to him this time in person She drives all the way to Boston to Boston

[00:08:48] To pitch it in person. It does not go well. So afterwards she calls an uber Turns out it's him and it's like hey, you gotta give me a ride And when she gets into his car, she changes the destination to their hometown

[00:09:04] It's a good trick would that work Dan is somebody who's done uber would that work if somebody just changes their location? When they get in the car I think we're not now in

[00:09:14] 2017 it would have because you didn't know the destination until you pick them up at least one maybe that was 2015 when uber came here in 2015 I drove for it. You didn't know where you were going to you picked him up That's crazy, but now they know before

[00:09:27] But you can't change it once you're in the car. I think that's it You can ask but I don't think you can ask it So they show up and the parents are like yay Ben's gonna be Santa and Ben is like no

[00:09:39] I'm not gonna be Santa. There's a big trick. I thought I'd say hi. I thought I would help you I thought you needed help. I need to write so she goes to coffee shop and

[00:09:49] Grace is there as well and it's like maybe even bake cookies with me decorate There's no pressure. You don't have to be Santa, but you can do fun things. So Ben is like, all right, I'll do that. But he wants to leave he can't stay in the town

[00:10:08] Everyone knows busiest time of the year for uber drivers, so you need to get back to Boston So they start heading back Obviously she needs to go with him because she actually did have a car and she left it in Boston

[00:10:24] So while you're going back, I'll hitch a ride with you and they're talking and they're having a good time they're enjoying each other's company, but They have to stop halfway due to a big storm big snow time

[00:10:38] At a friend of hers house and I gotta say what a cabin what a cabin what a cab? What a snow? What it's wonderful and it is at this point that Ben does something that he swore he would never do

[00:10:53] He plays Santa he plays Santa for these kids and come in home. I know and It's pretty darn good at it's pretty darn good at Santa so they're they're pumped they're loving it so the next day they get back and

[00:11:11] Grace is like hey, let's let's head back. Let's head back And so they go back to a small town and it's at this point that he ultimately after some Christmas shenanigans Agrees to be Santa but it doesn't last long folks because he overhears her telling somebody

[00:11:28] That he agreed to be Santa and he's like you're telling people This is the worst he gets mad. He's like you only made me like you and you like me It was all a charade to get me to play Santa get super mad about it. What's that?

[00:11:47] Yeah, that's exactly right So the bad news is is he is now out as Santa he's heading back to buy we're going back to Boston. Whoa And the mayor's son is now gonna be Santa and he is terrible, he's terrible and

[00:12:06] Last second last minute. What do you know Ben does show up? He says get out of here This is my sleigh now kid Gets under the Santa's costume. He does a parade pod that parade the parade good good parade take the Homer comm slash parade and

[00:12:26] It's amazing at Afterwards he's playing Santa kids are sitting on his lap, you know the deal and she's like hey Ben. It's me Let's talk and he's like, ho ho ho

[00:12:39] She doesn't get the hint that he's playing Santa at this moment and so she goes to mope on a bench He comes up and he's like, hey man. Sorry. I was playing Santa

[00:12:48] You guys know the rules can't I like I can't just be talking about I had a kid on my lap She's like I totally missed it. I don't goof But they kiss which is great fast-forward 11 months he proposes to her and also

[00:13:10] Lost over he wrote a kids book. He wrote a kids book. Yeah, which is crazy. That's crazy. It's not a kids book about Christmas Like maybe one called Kramer who? One maybe one cold try different camera

[00:13:26] Again maybe one like that. That's a good three good gloss. That's why you didn't change You can get that right now. It's crazy. That's nuts Let's take a quick break. We'll come back. We'll talk about finding Santa in so much more I think

[00:14:10] I have not seen the movie before 2017 I didn't see it before 2024 either It was great to see Jody sweet back on the screen. I know you love Jody sweet I don't know if I need to bring back What was the movie? Really did a number on me

[00:14:29] He's a jeep guy Yeah, I'm a jeep guy I'm a jeep guy He's a jeep guy Go Tigers, uh, yeah great to see you I guess I didn't realize how much I like Jody sweeten until like I see her again

[00:14:49] I'm like, oh man feels good. It feels good to be back home I really like this movie and the idea of This the idea the premise of the child of Santa wanting nothing to do with that life

[00:15:00] You know getting out of the game and I thought that was a really funny Premise and the fact that he's like a phenom at Santa Ng makes it even better. So really cool idea The I feel like we could have gone more bonkers Clint the mayor's son

[00:15:17] They're pretty funny idea for him to just to be a mess be terrible Yeah, and just the nepotism of his expectation of just I get to do this, right? Yeah, this is some of the mayor. Yes on the mayor son of a mayor son

[00:15:29] Very funny idea at the end of the movie I was actually ready for another and the next movie that came on automatically. I watched it for a little bit So I think it's finding Easter Bunny

[00:15:39] The well, I forget it wasn't it was the one another Jody sweet joy with Andrew Walker. Oh, yeah candy cane So very something very bright

[00:15:49] So I think it's a sign that it was a good movie and I liked it the fact that I want to stick around watch Another Christmas movie and so I kind of got me into the July Christmas in July season. I feel like welcome buddy. Thank you

[00:16:01] Yeah, I agree. I like this movie a lot. I really enjoy it I think it's just a good time I think it's sweet and it is a large part of me were liking this movie is the cabin maybe it's hard to say

[00:16:16] But does this movie give me Christmas feels it does I also like Jody Sweden. It's always good to see her It's you know she's one of those ones that we don't see all the time and so when we do it does feel like a little special treat cuz

[00:16:26] she's really good at these and The guy was he a Sam page knockoff. Sure. He was but I still not a knockoff. He is Sam page, but better He's Sam pages. This guy is act circles around Sam page. It's not even close

[00:16:44] ABC show in primetime, that's why I didn't do any more Hallmark movie. Okay that sure He got an ABC show with Nathan Fillion in primetime. He's way better than Sam page I like you're some Sam page stand down there

[00:16:56] I am notoriously all the big one where he's the photographer that I love that movie and you guys all didn't Huh, I don't know the name of any of it I know you guys know

[00:17:08] I don't know names of this guy the other guys a knockoff this guy you act like a getting an ABC shows the end-all be-all He was a ABC show Star that has ever had it

[00:17:23] This guy's name is Eric winter and Sam pages and Eric winter knockoff I said what I said Go ahead, I'm sorry in what he is in I can't think of the name of it, but he's in that movie with his like real-life girlfriend

[00:17:37] Where they're making something about cooking and you guys didn't like that movie terrible You hear what I'm saying now what I'm not saying I'm not putting him in the upper echelon of Hallmark leading dudes I'm saying he's better than Sam page, that's all I'm saying

[00:17:57] Yeah, oh this guy he's the son of a preacher man No, I uh Taste of summer I Gosh I could not for the life of me. Can I remember what that was this the 2019? Oh, yeah

[00:18:24] He only does Massachusetts Massachusetts movies, um, give me Sam page. I like this guy Yeah, I like this movie a lot Dan I know you didn't like it so just go ahead How do you know I didn't like it cuz I can tell

[00:18:40] Christmas spirit. No your demeanor I can tell I can tell so 2017 for TV Christmas movies the year before we started this podcast I consider to be a golden year for TV Christmas movies all the following aired during 2017 brand get ready for all your reactions Bramble House Christmas

[00:18:59] Christmas train yeah Christmas getaway Travis van Winkle in Rocky Mountain Christmas and Top five all-time for me snowed in Christmas on lifetime All of those movies and and crandles big Christmas Christmas, which we don't count that because it's a variety show So

[00:19:25] There's some other lesser ones the the Christmas next door the movie with Jesse Metcalf in the very loud walls I do like that movie Maggie's Christmas miracle Luke McFarlane like the one of the Father Christmas movies I said it was a great year. So Chris 2017

[00:19:39] He made a year of bangers if you like these movies this movies not one of them There's a reason that we are in year six and we've gotten to all the movies

[00:19:48] I've named we've watched ten movies from 2017 and not this one. There's a reason it Phil. It isn't a diamond in the rough It's just not as good

[00:19:57] The big reason it's not as good as nothing to do with Jodi Sweden or Eric winner who I think are more than capable It is the fact that and I watch this

[00:20:10] Any of those actors if they'd rather be on the rookie on ABC or doing two of these movies a year and they'll all tell you They'll be on the rookie ever everyone doesn't mean doesn't mean it's right though. I'm just saying

[00:20:19] Yeah, it's always like whatever everybody else says is the right thing to go and I don't know no sir Against the oppression I watch this with two sick eight-year-old boys and

[00:20:28] The fact that this movie is called finding Santa has a Santa Claus who is legendary and they never bring in the magic of Santa Claus in this movie

[00:20:37] This movie is held firm to the fact that all Santas are just people acting like Santas and Santa isn't real it Devastated my children. It was a riot to watch as they kept on going but when Santa's showing up No, that's just another dude in a beard

[00:20:53] This movie for all the movies that go magic just a little twinkle a little something where it's like Oh, he knew all along or whatever. This movie is like no

[00:21:04] Santa's a man with a red suit on who goes about his business when Christmas is over and I thought that was bold for this Movie in 2017 then looked at his kids who said see Every year it is a point of contention to my household

[00:21:18] I am NOT here to ruin Santa for my child But I'm not going to tell them that Santa's real because I'm not gonna lie to my kids And so for me I say it's cool to make believe about Santa. It's cool to pretend about Santa

[00:21:28] If you want to believe in Santa, that's great I say all those things this movie was like the absolute uppercut to my kid Me taking it easy bobbing and weaving Try not to deliver that punch and all of a sudden this movie shows up and my kid

[00:21:44] I have a picture of him watching it. He is Absolutely, but for every one of these there's one where there's magic. So just say you know, he's gonna have a chance So I can't believe there was no Santa magic in this movie

[00:22:05] It could have been fun and and cool and instead it was this weird movie where the guy that left should have left He didn't want to be Santa the guy the girl that stayed should have also left. She didn't really did this

[00:22:15] She did this for her parents. She wants to be a Painter and she stayed and in the end of this movie There's a weird trade him up and it's like why are you coming home to be Santa? I don't like I don't know

[00:22:26] It this movie did not work for me aside from the two leads who I thought both did a great job It's not for all the feels we're talking about what this movie gives feels right You guys remember Naga clock?

[00:22:37] Boy do there's so much eggnog in this movie and did we not for those that don't know Because it's not available anywhere is that Made it but Naga clock. I didn't know absolutely we during the last holiday season

[00:23:24] So last night. I was really feeling some Christmas in July feels I was listening to the mistletoe and soundtrack Which you can listen to their hot takes this Thursday but Was leafing through this little book called I'll be home for Christmas movies

[00:23:44] There was a recipe in the back picked by one Daniel Thompson For eggnog and I was like man. I miss really clock. Yeah, did we try to make it? Thank you? We did not but it's on my list now and I picked that out in the book

[00:23:58] You remember Yeah, everybody we all talk about a recipe We should have made it we should do it so that I clearly my favorite It talks about how much Dan loves baking cookies and people come over to his house and no he's known for that. Yeah

[00:24:27] And baking by cookies, yeah steak, yeah Make our gin dust gingerbread for your cookies day in advance So they have time to cool morning of a party women up the ice in stock of stock up on jelly beans gumdrops and other decorative items and you and your

[00:24:43] Guests we turn our cookies into like a regular Jessica lounge Cool. Where's I want to see this Towards the end This is a good this is a great idea So this movie had a lot of eggnog which is unusual for them to go so hard in these movies

[00:24:58] And it's just reminding me of noggin clock and also when she made it snow in her store was pretty yeah, that's cool Oh Hallmark understands people might need an adult beverage to get through the movies

[00:25:10] They make Hallmark Channel wine glasses and heck in 2020 even debuted Hallmark Channel wine If you're looking for some more if I got something for you

[00:26:15] I loved that gives me all the Christmas feels Dana snow in the store the snow in the store work. It'd be good It definitely worked. How do we not have a snow a snow machine in here yet? So how do we or why don't we? Hit it

[00:26:35] I feel like we should get a snowstorm for this year Hmm Right down just maybe how quickly can we get a snow machine here? I Ramble fest re bramble falls within two weeks. Oh, yeah

[00:26:49] Snow machine here in two weeks and what it like is there a version without the soap though? Like where it's not a soapy mess that we have to deal with. Oh, so are you kidding? No, we can go bigger. Oh look at this. That's all they cost

[00:28:46] Can I tell you guys how freaking nervous I am about this here because magic's gone and no magic moved to 106 point three It's gone all together now who's gonna who's gonna fill in the blank if only there was a way to like play whatever Christmas songs All together

[00:29:08] You know it yeah, you know it Dan in your heart of hearts, you know Absolutely all I'm saying is there is now a Need in the green by radio station boy have we talked about it before you guys were around we

[00:29:28] Year round Christmas station that I know of there's not an actual terrestrial radio station that does Christmas Walking to terrestrial radio. I think that it would be a hit so pot all the pods become radio broadcasts Well, it's such a good idea it sounds like coming back up

[00:29:48] So yeah, she does she does everyone knows the best ideas always come back up No one's ever brought up a bad idea If we go 1500 watt at that smaller price we get to one for each side of the stage obviously or

[00:30:03] I think we need four because we need to hit the audience to oh we do one in each side We don't even want to shoot it out three two one on each side and then one in the front

[00:35:33] So she this is the most ridiculous thing I've seen this season in Christmas movies, and I don't think it'll get topped Wow She is making eggnog which sure a clock fun. Yeah, not a clock She cracks eggs right into her hot milk and cream without tempering

[00:35:50] Are you kidding me right now? You're I saw that I had this brand and I was like you guys probably talk about it. Yeah, believe she didn't temper that thing It's unbelievable. I'm still They think we're stupid You Rocky Boy, so that was ridiculous

[00:36:23] And then she left her car in Boston for a week, which that's pretty cool I mean Boston's generally pretty cool about you leaving your car and the snowy streets for there's tons of parking in Boston

[00:36:31] Yeah, that thing is things perfectly safe and it's gonna be in the same place. She left it John Mulaney say every movie about Boston the villain is Boston and I've not been able to stop thinking

[00:36:41] And he was like the town does something good will hunting like it's always like we got to get out of here That's funny. That's funny. So there you go. That's it I mean, I think that the biggest one is

[00:36:54] You can in fact be a Santa and a writer at the same time I just want it on the record that you Can do both I know there's a lot of haters out there that'll be like you have to do one or the other

[00:37:09] I'm here to let you know that the Santa gig Worst case it's two months out of the year, but you know, probably it's only a few weeks. You can do both Yeah, nothing has stopped you from being writer and Santa you can do both guys, I

[00:37:28] There's a clock here In this movie and I want to know if you can make heads or tails of what's going on with this clock because it's a days Till Christmas clock. Yeah, it says days till Christmas and then there's the time but it's I don't know

[00:37:44] Is it saying is that the thing that stays is it six days Dan? How would you make heads or tails of this? What is it six days? Is that But I don't know how that moves cuz this wreath looks pretty like permanently connected to the day still Christmas

[00:38:35] I love a little finger grab or a little you know, this is a weird hand holding sequence They get back they get back they get back to small town and

[00:38:48] They're like, let's go let's go check out the Christmas store and then they just kind of go like this Ryan Let me see your hand. They just kind of just kind of go like this and then they look at it and they go

[00:39:03] They chose to do it it wasn't like they stumbled into it it was hey, let's do this thing Boy howdy grace it is not the time to talk to Santa Yeah, when he has a kid in his lap. Come on. What is wrong with you?

[00:39:21] What is wrong with you to go up there and be like hey, I really want to talk to you about Misunderstanding he's Santa he's doing a job You don't go up to you don't go up to the Easter Bunny Easter Bunny when he's being a Santa

[00:39:37] Easter Bunny when he's hopping around you don't go up to Phil Collins when he's singing a song That's great then what she's doing is the equivalent of someone going up to Phil Collins

[00:39:53] Right before the drum part and in the air tonight and be like, hey, can we talk about what happened? You can't do it. Not then you can't man. Not then you can't order. She was concussed cuz the temporary of the eggs Man Dana so many

[00:40:12] This town does selfies with Santa Which to this national reporter is just mind-blowing She says selfies with the network this I gotta see and what happens in these selfies with Santa his kids get on Santa's lap in the sleigh and with mittens on

[00:40:30] They try to take a selfie with Santa Um, which is a riot I'd love to see all those pictures turn out cuz none of them did I can tell you spoiler alert None of them did this marching band is hysterical the drum the guy playing the snare drums

[00:40:46] His drumsticks never get within two inches from the head of the drum. Never not once it's he thinks it's not gonna be on camera I'm doing the bare minimum for the bare minimum wage and that is what's happening and it is front and center and he's like this

[00:41:00] And the drums down at the table that you can't see on the screen right now She goes to Boston to look for this dude, she has a picture of him on her phone She walks into the coffee shop or whatever it is. She looks at the picture

[00:41:15] She sits down he walks in I believe wearing the exact thing that he's wearing in the picture He shows up and she's like hey, are you such-and-such? I'm looking for somebody

[00:41:28] She doesn't know that that's him. Yeah, it was very weird. She has a picture. It's like a high-def Yeah, it is. It couldn't be more him. I don't how did I was the opposite of what?

[00:41:41] Typically happens when in this movie where they immediately recognize each other even though they haven't seen each other This is the opposite Yeah, it's plenty cool on the way back They're driving and she's she's like, how do you know?

[00:41:54] And he says this line, which is a classic 17 line I know that you don't have a boyfriend because if you did he would have driven you to Boston So I Looked it's about a two and a half hour drive

[00:42:09] And so what this guy's saying is is that there's just no world that sweet little Jodi can do that herself She cannot on her best day get in her own car and drive herself To Boston during a workday if you had a boyfriend

[00:42:25] He would have taken off work and he would have driven you because no no little lady's gonna drive herself If she has a boyfriend to do it for wild wild take even by 2017 Hallmark Standards that is

[00:42:40] That's a wild take man, it's a wild take that's crazy. Um, I love the fact that this movie is Famous for its parade It's famous for its Santa and famous for its Santa school So I just want to wind that back for you

[00:42:59] They train people how to be Santa in this town. That's right They have the best Santa in this town and they have a parade that's been going on 50 years

[00:43:09] The parade lasts maybe an hour and I'm gonna be kind it's probably 30 minutes. Yeah, we're podding it. Don't worry not a single Not a single student of this famous Santa School in this famous Santa town with a famous Santa parade can make it not a one

[00:43:29] Yeah, they're all busy when the town shuts down For the parade it is the ultimate gig. It's the ultimate gig You you would drop everything to be Santa in this parade and they're like we can't do it

[00:43:45] We're fully booked out how many gigs are going on when the parade's going on in this famous Santa school from famous Santa in famous parade town the III

[00:43:55] Like if you're gonna have a parade and not have a Santa the best case scenario is is he's the only guy in town that Can play it but no you have a Santa school Where that's your job?

[00:44:05] Where Santa delivers lines like you're putting emphasis on the wrong. Ho Been there, bro Classic yeah, don't know I talked about the Margie band talked about the boyfriend single Santa blah blah blah He the dude is writing a book a kid's book

[00:44:24] But he does uber to pay the bills and he's like I got to get back to Boston and they're like Why do you have to get back right now? And he says Christmas is the busiest time of year in Boston a lot of people need rides because normally

[00:44:37] People in Boston would not need uber at all. They don't need ride shares or taxis or any of that but at Christmas Now we start gearing up as someone that's driven for uber Christmas doesn't hold a candle to Halloween

[00:44:50] New Year's any any activity where people are just gonna get wasted a Thursday afternoon How do you stay in Boston? Maybe you heard Patty's day? Maybe if you lift an uber drivers out in st. Patty's Day in Boston, maybe I'm not from there

[00:45:05] I'm just guessing that Tuesday December 2020th isn't going to be as busy as a Lot of other times during the year, but this guy thinks so obviously Um, this is a small thing and maybe I'm wrong. I'm glad I have to Boston people in the room

[00:45:21] He says we're stuck in Worcester Which is halfway between Green River and and Boston and I looked it up and Worcester's way closer to Boston than it is to green Hi, I'm on this green over real. Yes. Oh

[00:45:33] He lives in Boston and he says Worcester wrong. Yeah. Well kind of yeah, he's like Worcester Yeah, he says it Worcester, yeah But he Worcester is way closer to Boston Then it is to Green River

[00:45:54] Which is like what like it was like double or triple the length over it was I looked it up on a map and I Was like I'm sure that that Brian's gonna bring it. I don't know. I just know it's in Massachusetts

[00:46:03] It is it's a place in Massachusetts. I don't know. I didn't like as soon as I saw the distance Isn't it Connecticut is the zip code? Oh two one three four or

[00:46:12] Well, cuz once it gets out of oh two one three four, I don't want to talk about it. Zoom zoom zoom River Mass Right there. It is man. I thought that he was using Connecticut There you go. Green River Mass. Where's Worcester?

[00:46:23] West this is yeah. Yeah, are you kidding me? Yes. Thank you complete opposite direction. I'm so happy New Vermont, I'm so happy that I was able to bring this Where they were in Connecticut weren't they know Hartford why were they in heart over and around Hartford?

[00:46:41] Were they around Hartford Connecticut that would make more sense because that is a long way from Boston. Is there a Green River, Connecticut? Because when they are at the friend's house with us

[00:46:52] And they get snowed in don't mention the cabin Brandon can't handle this all of the roads south are closed You know, but they can go back north and so they were going back to Green River Yeah I thought they were somewhere north of Boston because they couldn't go

[00:47:12] South to keep going to Boston. They had to turn around basically, but I Saying anything in Western Mass is It's crazy. It's halfway between that and Worcester. So like Worcester's halfway between that point in Boston

[00:47:26] What Worcester and absolutely if you had to go to Worcester before you went to Boston You're going out of your way first of all from Green River

[00:47:33] But Western Mass is basically its own state. Yeah, it's like the rest of New York in Manhattan. Like it just is not the same so Lastly before we move on

[00:47:46] Santa's at not at the end of this parade all the kids are leaving you need to know that right and off Santa's got to Be at the end of the parade. We know that we've we've hosted a parade before we sure have

[00:47:56] And then last but not least at the end of this movie He is signing a book and he takes a break with the line out the door He's like I'll be back in a few minutes. I just got a quick propose to my girlfriend and he says that

[00:48:10] You need to look at the dedication because in the second print it changed so we in this situation He wrote a Christmas book in 11 months got it printed and it all sold out and he had a second print already done

[00:48:24] And it's still before that Christmas season very impressive by that guy and also impossible by our book It's time for what the hallmarks were. What could have been maybe? Have Brian what he's still wondering about pal. I actually wanted to see the book

[00:48:39] I was hoping they were gonna show some illustrations because her she seems like a pretty good artiste if I do say so Myself, which is funny because in the holiday or is it the holiday in handcuffs episode?

[00:48:51] Yeah, you were complaining about how the art is always terrible a bad artist Paintings were great. So I want to see some of that book It's open that thing up, it's gonna get a little look it's open that thing up

[00:49:03] Yeah, I think the biggest one for me. I don't want to keep harping on this cabin main cab if somebody could Like, you know, we have such generous listeners and they send us all sorts of goodies What if someone sent us a cabin Wow?

[00:49:20] We thought about it. Never even thought we thought about we should it's honestly we call it the Bramble house We do a whole thing. I know it's just an idea someone could send us a cab. I love that idea

[00:49:45] There's a huge one in this movie and the fact that it hasn't been brought up at all is just kind of egregious at one point in this movie while Jodi Sweeten's character has to manage this full parade and also

[00:49:54] Midlife crisis and everything else this guy comes up and he's part of a quartet of carolers And the parade is starting soon, and he's holding a giant hat and he says The baritone refuses to sing if he has to wear the hat What? It's a Christmas parade

[00:50:15] You you've known You've known about this parade It's been on your calendar for months it's the 50th anniversary The national news is here and all of a sudden you're too good for a hair It's gonna get over that typical

[00:50:34] There's no way that this baritone didn't know what he or she was signing up for didn't know there's no way they didn't know They say the baritone refuses to sing if he has to wear that also if that's something that the baritone has

[00:50:49] Made perfectly clear they should have found another baritone. Yeah, absolutely so I don't know I don't want to get all the is one line and you like you're just not gonna talk anymore about this

[00:51:01] It's possible the baritone has a history with the hat and they should yeah, they should have yeah I would love to know one way or the other I would want I would love to know
