BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS
We're at a garage sale and Jennifer and Dani are shopping around looking for fun stuff for their scarecrow. Jennifer finds a locket in a jacket pocket. Classic Jennifer.
Jennifer is a part of a book club that does murder mystery parties for charity and they're getting ready to do a Lizzie Borden show. The cast gets into a bit of an argument when it comes to showcasing both sides of the case. THEN, the book that they're using as a historical artifact goes missing! While looking for the book, Jennifer comes across a dead body! It's Isaac Simmons - he was one of the guys really upset about showing both sides of the case. I'll be honest - there's one guy who is an obvious suspect - the guy who runs this inn. He has keys to all the rooms and is just real awkward. Luckily, Detective Frank was already there because he showed up with Jennifer to be a part of the murder mystery. So he immediately begins pulling everyone in for questioning. Jennifer is helping Isaac's stepdaughter, Sierra, when she sees that she has the missing book. UH OH! She claims she has NO IDEA how it got there!
Turns out, only Carol's prints are on the book. Who is Carol? She's the one who was leading the murder mystery and brought the book to the party.
In a crazy turn of events, the murder mystery party is still a go! And everyone is still in as long as Detective Frank is out.
Bad news though - Jennifer gets hit over the head by someone cuz she keeps snooping around! Everyone is so incredibly suspicious and so down to continue with the play.
So, they decide to go forward with it but keep an eye on all the suspects. What we don't know is that Jennifer looked in the closet yesterday and there were 3 door knobs, now there's only 2. That means it could only be one person - the guy who runs the inn! He admits it really easily. They all celebrate.
