[00:00:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Hi, I'm Brian and I love
[00:00:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Ferk this Christmas
[00:00:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Brian I'm way Steve and first look of papers here. I'm Dan. It's still summer
[00:00:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm Alonso and I guess Ferk is a word now in this
[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_03]: First of all everybody Merry Christmas
[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_03]: We also have to get this out of the way and I don't want to gloss past it we had a very
[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Intense a tough competition tough competition
[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Lots of thoughts and prayer and consideration went into us deciding what day we thought this was gonna be
[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Dropping on and only one person got it. Correct. It is Aaron Shay
[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Up at ungodly hours of the morning where this is a big day
[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a very big day before we dive in and tie you kind of see what sticks out to us in the schedule
[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Aaron do you have anything that you want to say to the people? I'll give you five seconds to make this acceptance speech
[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I just want to thank all the double-deckers for believing in me and for being there for me supporting me and
[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Really good. Yeah, I think maybe five was too long
[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_03]: I think we could have shorted down and then got it even more concise, but that was really good really good
[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_03]: This is a big day every every year. This is we're heading in Dan
[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_03]: We were just talking about this off paper. We're heading into our seventh holiday season doing this show, which is
[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Insane I just can't fathom that it hits different every year
[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_03]: But for some reason seven feels like feels old. It feels like a lot
[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I heard if you were born before 1990 you're officially older than Marv is in Homeland one and I took that personally that hurts
[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_02]: but but
[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yeah, yeah
[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_03]: With you everybody. I'm still safe
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Listening out here your birthday is not as before 1990
[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_02]: You're older than Marv is in the first home alone. That did make me feel old in a negative way
[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_02]: This is like we did it
[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Come on out here show the people what's happening right now
[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_04]: You'll see
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Summer we did
[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Equal hasn't even knocked yet
[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_01]: You guys break the Christmas ball. I see Mary and I don't see its twin
[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Really quickly a couple of things
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_03]: One I just want to of course shout out phylo phyla TV such. Yeah
[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna get to watch our show a holiday season, but also
[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_03]: All of these I think aside from Hallmark Plus but all of these
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Hallmark Channel Hallmark movies and mr. I'm sorry Hallmark mysteries all on phylo and the DVR is unlimited. So
[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Go nuts have yourself a merry little time
[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody lifetimes on their ups on there so much Christmas on phylo all holiday season long
[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_03]: So we're very excited to have another holiday season with phylo makes it so easy for us and it's gonna make it so easy for
[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_03]: You
[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_03]: 47 movies this year counting
[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Hallmark Plus, which is it's a lot. I think folks. It's a lot Alonzo when you saw that number. How did it make you feel?
[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_01]: It made me realize that by the time this is the 15th countdown to Christmas that we're announcing this morning
[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Or they're announcing that we're parsing which means by the time they get to 20 the 20th anniversary
[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna be at 50 and we just are Wow
[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Capitalism demands that you grow
[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Whether or not it's feasible
[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_03]: With the addition of Hallmark Plus it makes it it makes it but it makes it to where they didn't have to add more
[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_03]: To the linear networks and still increase their number
[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll see how it goes for them if there's 50
[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_03]: in five years and that means I probably that would mean that Hallmark either Hallmark Plus is doing well or
[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_03]: They've they're starting earlier. So it's a win-win I think for us Alonzo
[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean because of where like Halloween and Christmas fall on the calendar this year
[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Like aren't we actually going one weekend longer than usual?
[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_03]: I know I think it all kind of comes out in the wash, but I don't really know
[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_03]: It's it's a mess up there
[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_03]: um
[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_03]: The other thing before we look into titles and talk about anything that excites us. The other thing I find intriguing is
[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_03]: They have gone back to a Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday, right?
[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Which was tried back 1919 I believe and quickly
[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_03]: And so I'm not sure what information that they have gotten in their testing that made them feel good about that
[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_03]: But we'll see if it works out for them. And then the other thing look I have a theory go ahead
[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's so much of what they're getting now is off of peacock that
[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Whether or not people watch it the night that it airs on cable is not necessarily
[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_01]: The the game anymore because they've got peacock
[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_01]: They've got places like phylo that offer DVR and so they're just laying them out on the calendar and people are gonna see him when
[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_03]: They see him. Yeah, I love it
[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I think that like the rating still like matters obviously
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_03]: But clearly they have seen success with the cock to continue to do that even with the larger Hallmark Plus
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_03]: As far as I know, I don't think that any of the linear ones are going to be
[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_03]: next day on Hallmark Plus, I think it's still gonna go to their their
[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Partners first and then eventually maybe it'll end up on I can tell you the first thing that stuck out to me
[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead is that we are doing the marathon. We are and teens starting at 6 p.m
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_03]: There's a little information for you. There you go. The earliest at Hallmark's ever started the earliest we've ever stood
[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_02]: 6 p.m. On the 18th, that means 3 p.m. For you West coasters out there
[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Miles before any movies are actually new movies are actually starting but that's okay
[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_02]: The big difference for us this year is is we only have two new ones to watch one Friday night one Saturday night
[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_02]: We don't have to do a double feature Saturday night
[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_02]: And I gotta be honest be able to listen to the second episode that we've done on Saturday night
[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_02]: You are as excited as we are about that
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Just for the sake of good podcasting
[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's exciting and then a lot so you pointed something out
[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_02]: That I just did a quick cursory glance and did not see either which is shocking to me. Yeah
[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_01]: There would appear to be no
[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_01]: same sex leads this year as opposed to
[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Recent. Yeah, I know like last year. We had the we had the lesbian movie with
[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Ally Liebert
[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Liebert and Humberly Gonzalez, we do get the return of Jonathan Bennett and dude from crazy ex-girlfriend
[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Very Lane franchise of which there are three movies this year with three
[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Three timelines each so buckle up for that. But yeah, I'm a little surprised that like no no leads
[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Which is a leading same-sex couple on a movie on this list and that we could be wrong
[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_02]: But I went through it once so did Alonzo
[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't see one which I gotta be honest was kind of thinking we get to two this year
[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I was kind of thinking we'd go the other direction with it. Sure
[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_03]: For what it's worth, you know when lifetime made that plunge a few years ago
[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_03]: They also pulled back, you know a year later. They haven't had one
[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think since that one that we reviewed on the I think
[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_01]: They had like the treasure hunt movie or whatever with
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Two years ago, it's all a blur now, but but yeah, they've definitely not been really
[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Committing to that bit unfortunately, but I will say this also again just from a cursory first look at all of this stuff
[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_01]: It does look like we're getting more movies this year that aren't necessarily
[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Couple focused like there's best friends. There's
[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Mom's there's you know other ways to kind of tell the story coming to life. Yes
[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_02]: There's some fun ones in here that aren't don't look like there's one
[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_02]: In fact that doesn't look like it has a romantic lead at all
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's a Janelle Parrish one where her character comes to life. I got to go back
[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Sugar plumbed, I believe it's called
[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_02]: See, I put a star by it because I wanted to
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Talk about it. This is live. We're live right now
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah Maggie Lawson and Janelle Parrish are the stars but it doesn't it's that she basically
[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a Rose of Cairo situation. Yeah, where where?
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Janelle Parrish like come walks out of the screen as a fictional character within the context of the movie
[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, that looks like a lot of fun and looks like there isn't a romance story in
[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_02]: That would be a bigger glass ceiling to break
[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Well
[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_03]: It does seem like there is with holiday crashers that first week and it does seem like it's two best friends and there are I
[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Think there is a love interest there, but it is more focused on holiday crashes looks like a fun time
[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_03]: But I don't want to say really quickly right out of the gate first movie of the year on October 18th
[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Of course will be live during that premiere during the marathon, but Robert Buckley
[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_03]: always excited to see Robert Buckley and
[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Apparently it's something to do with the Chamberlain family Christmas Olympics, which sounds like I don't know like two degrees away from the Christmas House
[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_03]: It's an Olympic year or a Christmas scavenger
[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_03]: But Amy groaning there was a was somebody that we saw last year right that we were like
[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right
[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_03]: One of the three battles, yes, that's right. So I don't want to say like we've
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I believe it's grating
[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Who posted something on our socials just look and see how it's built
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_03]: It's even more embarrassing than
[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Alarm you weren't you weren't in here you weren't in here for this story, Tim
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_03]: But you will like it
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_03]: so we realized that the episode was gonna come out a little later and so we wanted to put something on social media and
[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_03]: I got a guy it was after hours. So
[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_03]: So I said I got it everybody and I wanted the I had the general idea for what I wanted to say
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_03]: You're like hey things are happening whatnot, but I really wanted it to pop
[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_03]: I wanted to be snappy. So I threw it into AI to add like emojis
[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Make it seem like it would be good, but I I liked what it did overall, but I didn't like how it started
[00:11:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was like hey big news and I was like, I don't want big news
[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_03]: I want alert and so literally the only thing that I changed
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Worse than you think it is Wow
[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you use AI which is apparently now we learned the equivalent of dumping an entire bottle of water down the drain
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I
[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Work, that's right. Nice work all around really good stuff. What else are we seeing?
[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_02]: First reaction to this list as a whole is not as exciting as last year and I don't know why that's my first
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_02]: reaction as a whole but last year I felt like we had a lot of very like
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_02]: titillating titles like the Santa summit and
[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Holiday hotline and maybe they were just more alliterative
[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know but there was like 12 or 13 movies that are sticking out in that list
[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Whereas I do I'm excited that Julie Sherman Wolfe is is writing another Hanukkah Hanukkah on the rocks movie, which is great
[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Also the big standout as a movie that I think could be really good is a 90s Christmas
[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Which that movie seems like it's gonna be a blast. That's where's that cat barrel? That's on November 29th
[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Give me that give me that synopsis. That is cat barrel Ava Bourne and Chandler Massey, okay
[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Workaholic lawyer Lucy Miller is celebrating her promotion alone on Christmas Eve when a mysterious ride-share experience
[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_02]: transports her back to
[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_02]: 1999
[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Reliving the holiday with her mom's sister and best friend not to mention her high school crush
[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Lucy gets a second chance to understand where relationships went wrong
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Will this magical journey help rewrite her future?
[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_03]: There's not a mention in that of Y2k, but
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_02]: To me is Kate is a Katie Finley movie, which is early on in October. I believe it is
[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Party. Yeah, the five-year Christmas party looks like a ton of fun. You know, it's yeah
[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_04]: No, no, please then it's it started it's it's a surround around an ending it's based around the ending
[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_04]: It sounds like a company's ending and it's like that seems like a really cool scenario
[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Like this is coming to an end. Yeah, we're doing
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_04]: the Christmas table vibes
[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Also an indie movie called see you next Christmas
[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_01]: About a couple of people who know I actually it's a movie
[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I would like it from a couple years ago and it's about the this this couple that meets at
[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Mutual friends Christmas parties every year and we see the evolution not just of their relationship
[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_01]: But like of the friends when they start like having kids and whatnot and different sort of supporting characters who pop up at the party
[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Every year, so yeah, that's a that's a fun
[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm looking at IMDB here, but it looks like this is Jordan Fisher's first Hallmark movie
[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Which would make it fun. Katie Finley always a blast. Yes. Those are my two early Fisher from something
[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes
[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_02]: High school musical the musical the series
[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_00]: He's been on Broadway, he's done a lot of singing he's in
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Is he in high school musical musical? Yes
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay
[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_03]: I like the pairing of the Halloween pairing of Brit Bristow and Will Kemp. I think that
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Sure
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to get into that
[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Speaking of speaking of people who've not been in Hallmark movies before five gold rings gives us Nolan Gerard Funk who is a
[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Character actors been a bunch of stuff. I first noticed him in the canyons, which is the sort of infamous
[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Lindsay Lohan movie that she made that Bredy Sten Ellis wrote the Paul Schrader directed
[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_01]: But he's gone on to do a whole bunch of different kinds of stuff and so, you know from that very R-rated origin story
[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_01]: He's now
[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe needs a breather guys. I don't know
[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, but speaking oh my god five gold rings looks great private investigator
[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_03]: It looks like a fun time speaking of friendship movies though. Holiday mismatch
[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Getting getting a couple the the aunts from Sabrina the Teenage Witch together Caroline Ray and Beth Broderick. Yeah
[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_02]: The
[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Mentioned the fact that we get Craco listening Santa tell me with
[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Also in that movie been Ayers and Chris Russell man Wow. That's a cast
[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Arca and the Zarka
[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Kurt Zarka, we don't want to leave the Zark out
[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Exciting
[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Know about this unwrapping Christmas, which is apparently the basis for movies this year three
[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Cherry lanes for unwrapping Christmases and no time for us this year, by the way
[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Ain't nobody got time for that
[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Time for national nightmares time for us to be done with that series
[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's really interesting that Hallmark Plus gets the
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_03]: The the series of movies instead of yeah, I assume they would get like one one-off or something
[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_03]: But there's four unwrapping movies. I don't know anything about it Aaron you seem to know things. I don't know anything
[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I just think it's like a Christmas love club. Oh, it's a Christmas
[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Please stop selling
[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_03]: It's Cindy Busby I saw something about this a while back. Yeah, Cindy Busby is a holiday gift wrapping expert
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Come out of the same like gift wrapping location
[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_01]: There's separate stories or something
[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Shout out Jingle Bell Run Andrew Walker Ashley Williams a pairing I can't believe we haven't seen before wait to see that it was crazy
[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_01]: You walkers this time
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Can I tell you this I
[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Have another weird I wonder if it's ever happened before John Brotherton is going to be in two movies in a row
[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Whoa, like that like the movie that airs the 15th on Sunday the movie that airs Thursday the 19th have the same
[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_02]: John Brotherton's in both of them because you've got a Cherry Lane on the 19th and yonder star which
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Terrified of following yonder start just it's a day spring movie. It's got John Brotherton and Brooke Dorsey, which is great
[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_02]: But if you read the description, it's Tara it's a terrifying I'm scared. Yeah, and Brian
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I love it not as happy holidays, of course, but let's talk
[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Brethren the yonder star drops the 15th on Hallmark Channel
[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_01]: He's in one of the Cherry Lanes. It's on Hallmark. It's on Hallmark Plus
[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so technically not two linear ones in a row. Yeah, I guess but but yes
[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about happy holidays because the return of Jessica Lounds to the Hallmark Channel
[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_01]: It represents I think right the first time that somebody who signed the deal with first year Daniel listening
[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know
[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll see Jen Lillie again Chris came out and said she's she's ready and waiting
[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_01]: That that of the the other channel that made a big to-do about signing up a lot of the big talent from this network
[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Has not really been delivering ratings and is barely producing new stuff like our friend sleepy kitty pop
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Looked at their list of eight or twelve whatever new movies they promised and apparently there's really only one that they actually
[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Produced the rest of them are all retreads and stuff. That's already aired elsewhere
[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_01]: And one of them in fact is in fact an old Hallmark movie. Let it snow
[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah
[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I think we're gonna be seeing a lot of
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Tail between legs returning to Hallmark once they realize that that other channels not gonna give them anything
[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Another interesting thing about the holidays. It is Jessica loudness
[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_03]: It's also the winner of their reality show that they're having launching I think during the holiday season
[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Finding Mr. Christmas, my guess would be the finale of that is gonna air
[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Right before I before you know, and so that we will actually know who I mean
[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how they do previews of that though without showing the guy. That's a lot to keep under wraps
[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I think it would work, but I
[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Cut it to Jessica lounge like two years ago be like I'll do anything to be back on the network like well
[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_02]: We've got this competition
[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_03]: They're not like they're not professional actors, I'm sure they have some sort of act acting
[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Some sort but
[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Basically, it's just finding a good-looking guy that likes Christmas. Is that my understanding of the show?
[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_01]: That would appear to be the criteria
[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Brain I didn't prepare before we started Brian got really upset. There was no Sara Ramos movie
[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I have five the my top five. I can't believe we're not getting a movie with this person. Okay BJL
[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_02]: The fish random fish
[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Movie that I could see actually is on another another another network Michael
[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Rady not getting one from him Brennan Elliot not get one from him and our boy Vic Webster
[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And I would add to that Ashley Williams and Luke McFarlane
[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh
[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So we got two walkers two Heinz and two Hollingsworth's right there's a second Heinz movie the three the Chiefs and the
[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and apparently to Alex Santos is I'm not sure who he is a big Santos head over here
[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_02]: But
[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Of course really quickly going back to the holidays Dave White will be joining us for the animal movie
[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Turn to Hallmark, you've got a dog. You've got an unnamed co-star and you've got Dave Wise calls
[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll call it right now all the cream. Yes, it's right for the taking the
[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Stacy Farber big fan and this this is just something on a right field Mark Summers
[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Dared him I double dared him to be in a movie and here is
[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah
[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_01]: That's all there is to say I think technically we have two Hanukkah movies because like that one is full-on
[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_01]: but then there's also the Leah's
[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Perfect gift which is about a woman who?
[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Is Jewish but has always been obsessed with Christmas
[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_01]: With
[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_01]: With Barbara Niven as the mom
[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_01]: As cool as I as the the Beth Broderick Caroline Ray
[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Premises Oh to Caroline Ray movies because we also have this is miracle. That's right
[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_01]: As much as I like the idea of that one
[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I do kind of wish they had taken the let's have a mom centric movie with some of the like
[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Long list of great Hallmark moms your Barbara Niven's your Terrell Rothman, you know
[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Your BJ Harrison's but you know, whatever. I'll take it. I think it's still it's a fun idea
[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, well, I mean if I if we learned anything
[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_03]: from last year on lifetime ladies of the 80s slapped and that was
[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Was a big hit and I yeah
[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_03]: I think like for four moms like a movie center on for four moms or grandmas could cry
[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Good cry. I do want to shout out one other movie
[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Taylor Cole Kevin McGarry in a reason for the season
[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_02]: But the thing about this and I'm sure we'll get to this on one of our many many preview episodes, which I'm so excited
[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_02]: We apparently we are we're only doing two. Yeah, that's right
[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_02]: The way God intended was two more than God intended, but that's okay
[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_02]: In order to earn listen to the Senate's brand in order to earn her trust fund
[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Evie is tasked with granting Christmas wishes to the people who saved her life on the night of her birth
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Wow, first of all what?
[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Second of all how many people saved her life on the night of her birth?
[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_02]: How many was it?
[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And then she's got a great Christmas wishes to all of them. And how do we know she's done that?
[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_02]: That movie the one sentence in sounds bonkers new new but I'm here for it
[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Comes a point where the trust funds just not even worth it
[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Look, this is a movie where we have a princess going to boot camp
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_01]: So I think we just have to like exercise a little bit of you know, like holiday magic
[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess we also have Julie Gonzalo in two movies this year
[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Blair crank Blair crank so Enrique and
[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Enrique's
[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they heard so they heard I don't know if Sarah Ramos thinks so but okay
[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I just want to say really quickly give her two movies that makes up for me not being a one
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_03]: For all the you know, the heinie is out there. I think we're all excited about a chief's love story
[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I think it's one of those things where we've seen like they've been really yeah excited about it
[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_03]: And they think it's gonna be a big ratings get so we've seen so much about it to where it's not for a day like this
[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Same with like palaha and
[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Like that movie's gonna slap. I have no doubts about it
[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_01]: This is this is new stuff here's some exciting news. So first of all Nikki de Loach
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_01]: paired with Warren Christie
[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_01]: And it is not about her having a
[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Sad as Dave Warren Christie and Nell Nikki de Loach recount their love story to their daughter's boyfriend Chris
[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_01]: We follow them through one special Christmas where fate routinely brought them together and kept
[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Dave and Nell tried to find one other they were oblivious to the fact that they were work nemeses paired together to throw a
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Festival for their town, of course
[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_02]: That movie does sound a little generic, but it also sounds like that doesn't sound I think it's the best new pairing
[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Like of all the pairings of all of the actors that we know
[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Nikki de Loach Warren Christie pairing is a great pairing that is Walker and
[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Probably Taylor Cole Kevin McGarry after that
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_01]: What's also interesting about this one as there because they're playing parents and you know
[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_01]: She she played a parent last year in the world record Christmas
[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I think Hallmark is acknowledging the fact that like their their most beloved actors are
[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Aging like they've been making these movies for a while
[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And so you if it's no longer plausible to be the like young ingenue who's never had a serious boyfriend before never been married before
[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah play parents and you can see you you still get to have a love story as a parent like you're
[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't all die at the altar, you know
[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm glad that we're progressing into figuring out ways to have these actors who we want around
[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Play characters that seems plausible for that to reflect what their lives
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Gonna do that with the recounting part. Are they gonna try to dress dress dress young?
[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_01]: But there's also there's also a plot regarding like their kid saying I love you to his girlfriend
[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So, I don't know if now we have three couples or what that means
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's not let's not downplay the excitement that at least is over on this side of the room for sister sister and Carla
[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_03]: the return of Carlo Marx
[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Awesome
[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Cookies or whatever that movie was a couple years ago, right? Thanks great, baby. Yeah, it's kismet. It's kids
[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Rachel Lee cook also so
[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_03]: There's no one that I trust more but like it's true
[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_03]: favorite
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Of the leading ladies, I think
[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Lynn like Bethany Joy lens one
[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_02]: But the fish and Rachel Lee cook are both up there to not none of them
[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_02]: That's tough, yeah, that's tough. Yes Aaron
[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_00]: To search for the legendary treasure of the Yule lads
[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Which is a thing like that's an actual legend
[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_01]: About this
[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_01]: By the way for Broadway folks Charlotte Dumb was pops up in a carol for two with Jenna Claire Mason and Jordan Litz
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_01]: she is a
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_01]: second generation actually her father Jacques Dumboise was one of the seven brothers and seven brides for seven brothers and a
[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_01]: legendary choreographer and dance teacher and she
[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Was in the revival of a chorus line a few years back and like it's a big deal on Broadway herself
[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the other two are from Broadway
[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a Broadway cast. Oh, I love it. This is very exciting. Very exciting
[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody lots to break down lots to go
[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_03]: We got two preview shows coming up as we get closer within the next month

[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_03]: fingers cross fingers cross fingers cross might be a
[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_03]: all play
[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Can we handle it all play
[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Not live. It's gonna be unbelievable. It's gonna be very exciting and you're only doing two of these. Okay? Yeah
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_02]: One afternoon no way
[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Today no
[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Obviously, whatever those are come out clear your schedule it's gonna be a day but also
[00:30:29] [SPEAKER_03]: The biggest challenge is gonna be
[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_03]: The cream limit
[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Like make a cream worthless by having so many
[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And and then if you don't cream enough, you know, there's also
[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_02]: You've got to make sure you've got enough in the chamber
[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_02]: So there's definitely there's like there's that's it we need to get on that right now brand. All right
[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll give us some thought board meeting time
[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Council of creams
[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_02]: My early thought on creams, I'm just letting you know, okay
[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_02]: 47 yeah, so less than one a week until you're at one every four point seven
[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_03]: What you could you use any up in two you could just do ten total and you can use them how you want
[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_02]: You could do in the seconds two in the first you could bet yeah you could
[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Five in the first one five in the second, we'll get there we'll get we need boundaries for creativity
