"Haul out the Holly: Lit Up" originally aired November 25th, 2023. And it went a little something like this...

Haul out the Holly: Lit Up - Nov 25

We kick off with some voiceover from Emily and the gang all back at it! Ned is being Ned. Pamela is being nosey. And Emily and Jared are talking about moving in together!

A house goes up for sale on the street and all the neighbors are nervous about who could be moving in. Jared meets with his sister to talk about proposing to Emily. The street is meeting and they find out - the people moving into the house are the Jolly Johnsons!

The Johnsons show up and everyone goes nuts! They're clearly a lot. And they prove that at the Christmas tree lighting, cuz after the tree lights, the pop on stage and start a firework show. Then, they show up to the next HOA meeting and try to change a bunch of things. THEN they come over for dinner with Jared and Emily and bring their own peppermint vodka to 1 up Jared.

Everyone is so blinded by their celebrity to be mad but Emily isn't having it...until she finds out that the Johnsons are best friends with Nickelback, now's she in.

The next day, gnomes show up in everyone’s yards playing on the Johnsons Christmas music and Jared goes to tell him to knock it off but when he hears that Jimmy Johnson has given him a nickname, Jingle Jared. But he powers through and gives Jimmy a citation...until Jimmy lets him turn on his Christmas lights and he forgets.

But now the neighborhood is turning against the Johnsons cuz the music is so unbearable and it goes all night. But one by one, the Johnson's get the neighbors to come over to their side and even ambush Jared and Emily in a snowball fight. They're finally left with no other choice - Emily's parents need to come from Florida and take over this situation.

Her dad is like, “we need to fight fire with fire.” But Emily isn't having it. So they go over and try to make nice but the Johnsons call Emily a Grinch and challenge her to a winner take all Christmas compition.

Everyone thinks Emily needs some help so there's a training montage set to a bangin version of “I Saw 3 Ships.”

She's ready. she gets a dynamite jacket and the crowd is going crazy, talking trash, and it just doesn't feel right to Emily. She gives a heartfelt speech about what Christmas is all about and she forfeits with a slow clap.

The Jolly Johnsons says they wanna start over and they just wanna meet the Johnsons. We get a Christmas festival complete with Eric Mabius and maybe Polaha as Santa? Suddenly, a horse drawn carriage picks Emily up and brings her to Jared. He proposes and he says yes as they kiss!
