[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not for all of it, for at least some of it.

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be a fun time.

[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be a lot of fun.

[00:01:13] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to be live and anything can happen.

[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Anything can happen.

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Anything can happen.

[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_03]: A lot could go wrong too.

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_03]: A lot could go wrong.

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be, you wake up in the middle of the night, you think nobody's there?

[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be there.

[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll be there.

[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll be there.

[00:01:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe playing some pool.

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:01:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe baking some cookies.

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_04]: If you're not joining us for the middle of the night pool tournament, what are you doing?

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_04]: What are you doing?

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_03]: We were thinking about the prime spot for it and that was it.

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_04]: And we said, when is the best time for the pool?

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's the best time.

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a pool party.

[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a pool party.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_00]: When some people are trying to sleep, make a bunch of noise in the pool hall.

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Knock it around a little bit.

[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_04]: That's exactly right.

[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_04]: We're really excited about it though.

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_04]: We've got a ton of stuff planned.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_04]: And we think it's going to be the best one yet.

[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Best one yet.

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Best one yet.

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_04]: That's the goal every year.

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe the last one.

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Could be.

[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Never know.

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_04]: We're not promised tomorrow.

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_04]: We're not.

[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Seven's a good season.

[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_04]: We're not promised another year.

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_04]: So who can say?

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Season seven though.

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Eat it up.

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Eat it up.

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Eat it up.

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Eat it up.

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Eat it up.

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Act like it's a pizza and eat it up.

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't love it.

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_04]: You know what I've been eating up?

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Philo.

[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Philo.

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_04]: And I've got to say, if you're not on Philo yet, this is the week to do it.

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Because you want to go on there.

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_04]: You want to save all of the movies to the unlimited DVR.

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_04]: They're going to hang around all holiday season.

[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_04]: So if you can't get to one when it's live, you'll have it.

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_04]: You'll be able to utilize the one button ad skip.

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it's a no brainer.

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_04]: You'll be able to watch our episodes.

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_04]: There's so many reasons why you should get Philo.

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Because it's not just Hallmark.

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_04]: You've got the Lifetime.

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_04]: You've got the Up.

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_04]: You've got so much more.

[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_03]: AMC, VH1, BET.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_03]: You've got all of them.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Get after it.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_04]: That's exactly right.

[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_04]: When they play some of those other movies on there.

[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_04]: The other Christmas movies.

[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_04]: The classics.

[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_04]: There's so many that get shown throughout the season.

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_04]: And you can have them right on Philo.

[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a game changer.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a game changer.

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought you were going to say something else.

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_04]: To put it lightly, yeah.

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a game changer.

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a game changer.

[00:03:00] [SPEAKER_04]: And a world changer.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_04]: And a world maker.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_04]: So Philo.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_04]: TV.

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Join us, will you?

[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to be a fun season.

[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_04]: We're grateful to be with them once again.

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_04]: And I'm grateful to be with you guys once again.

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Another week is here.

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_04]: It is.

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_04]: What did you do over the weekend, Brian?

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_00]: This weekend?

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_00]: You were telling me about it.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't yard work.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously.

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm a little limited with the trees still in my yard.

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, we're...

[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_00]: How nice was it this weekend, though?

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_00]: The weather.

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_00]: This is what we work for all year long.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is what we dream about here.

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_00]: This is what we work for all year long.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: This weather.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_04]: It made me want to ghost hunt myself.

[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_04]: So this movie was especially...

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_03]: It made you want to...

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought you were saying it made you want to ghost hunt.

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Like you were looking and you were hunting yourself for ghosts.

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I can see how you got there.

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_04]: No, I meant like I wanted to go...

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Should we go ghost hunting, Brian?

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I freaking love it.

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe during the marathon.

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe during the marathon.

[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Who's to say?

[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a big house.

[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a big, big house.

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Lots and lots of movies.

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Everyone knows the bigger the house, the more ghosts can be.

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Ghosts don't deal with small houses.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Small spaces.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_04]: They don't like those.

[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_04]: They don't like those.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Shall we talk about haunted weddings?

[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Haunted Wedding originally premiered on the Hallmark Channel on October 12th, 2024.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_04]: The final non-Christmas movie of the year on the Hallmark Channel.

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_04]: It, of course, aired on October 12th.

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Of course.

[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Duh.

[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_04]: What day was that?

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Saturday.

[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_04]: October 12th.

[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_04]: And it went a little something like this.

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_04]: The movie kicks off with some ghost hunting.

[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_04]: But here's the thing about the ghosts.

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes the ghosts don't bite.

[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, you always hope that they don't bite.

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Literally.

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, man.

[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_04]: But you hope that they do something.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_04]: But they're not.

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_04]: But you know what is biting?

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Love.

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Love is in the air.

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_04]: And Brian proposes.

[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Thanks, man.

[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Congratulations.

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Proposes to Jin.

[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Everyone surprised.

[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Mid ghost hunt.

[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_04]: And she's like, yes.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_04]: And obviously, they're going to have their wedding in a haunted mansion.

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Not the haunted mansion.

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_04]: That would cost a lot of money to shut down that ride.

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_04]: But they got a haunted mansion that is supposed to be very haunted.

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Three ghosts.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Three scares.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Whatever it is.

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Three go-to-trade, right?

[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Jin goes to the mansion early with her maid of honor, Rachel, and is convinced that there

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_04]: is supernatural activity afoot.

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_04]: There's even one room where people aren't supposed to go into.

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Why?

[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_04]: It's got to be ghosts.

[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_04]: We then see the ghost herself, Angeliqui.

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Angeliqui.

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Liesi.

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Who does not seem to be a fan of love.

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_04]: She seems very annoyed that there is going to be a wedding taking place here.

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_04]: One night before going to bed, Jin decides to sneak into the empty room, which is a bold

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_04]: move to do at a place you're staying at.

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_04]: And we find out that Angeliqui, I will call her that, the entire synopsis, dies.

[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_04]: She died when she was 26 while she was in love with someone who looks exactly like Brian.

[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Go.

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_04]: High five on that one, too.

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_04]: And that's pretty cool.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_04]: And so some say that she died of a broken heart.

[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Speaking of Brian, he is now on his way with his best man, Steve.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's give it up for Steve.

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, Brian, Steve.

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Love Steve.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_04]: When Brian gets there, Jin takes him straight to the ghost room for a little bit of ghost hunting.

[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_04]: And Angeliqui immediately shows up, clear as crystal.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you can see her clear.

[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, she's not clear.

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_04]: But when Brian walks in, Angeliqui is like, oh, my gosh, it's you.

[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_04]: It's you.

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's Malcolm.

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_04]: And he's like, no, I'm not.

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm Brian.

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm getting married to Jin.

[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_04]: And she's like, there will be no wedding.

[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_04]: There's going to be no wedding going on here.

[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_04]: And she starts crying.

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a whole mess.

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Brian and Jin decide that they need to help her cross over.

[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_04]: And what better way to do that than by calling in an expert that is going to help them figure this out?

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Because Brian believes that this expert can do miracles.

[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Angeliqui shows up and explains to Jin that she fell in love with Malcolm and all this stuff.

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's just she can't get over how amazing Malcolm is and how much she misses him.

[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_04]: So they decide that they're going to go to the Historical Society to try to find out as much as they can about them.

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_04]: And afterwards, they go to this pub, this brewery, and they find Malcolm.

[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_04]: This was his spot.

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_04]: This was his place.

[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's where he died.

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_04]: He died there.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I've died in a small town.

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I've died in a pub.

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_04]: And so he's obviously not able to leave the bar.

[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_04]: And Angeliqui not able to leave the mansion.

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_04]: So how are they to get together to cross over?

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, one option is a ghost house.

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_04]: It is similar to a genie lamp.

[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_04]: But instead of teeny tiny genie coming out, a ghost gets teeny tiny and goes into house.

[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_04]: And then you can take the house anywhere you want to.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like putting a ghost in your purse or something.

[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_04]: You just bring it with you.

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_04]: So they bring the expert to the pub with the ghost house.

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_04]: And he explains that Malcolm needs to try to get teeny tiny, envision himself going into the house.

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_04]: And as he does that, he doesn't get teeny tiny.

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Instead, he just kind of blows up the ghost house.

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's not going to work.

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_04]: But then they consider the attachment theory, which is a ghost can attach itself to something that matters a lot to them.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_04]: And then they would then be a part of that object and be able to go to and fro.

[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_04]: That's right.

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_04]: And so they go to Malcolm and he is like, that medal over there, that medal belongs to me.

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_04]: It means a lot to me.

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_04]: So Brian goes to the bartender and is like, hey, how can I get it?

[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Can you give me that medal?

[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_04]: And he's like, no, $2,400.

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.

[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Brian pays for it.

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he does.

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Just put it on the credit card.

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_04]: No big deal.

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_04]: The credit card shot out, Brian.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, those points.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Malcolm.

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_04]: We got double on that.

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_04]: $4,800.

[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_04]: At a restaurant?

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_04]: He gets the medal.

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_04]: He touches it and it works.

[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_04]: He is now attached to this medal and he is able to walk outside.

[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, what a day.

[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_04]: But Brian gets bumped and drops the medal down a storm drain and poof.

[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Malcolm goes back into the pub.

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_04]: This whole ghost hunt is causing Brian and Jenna to grow further apart.

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_04]: And Jenna is beginning to realize that she just wants a wedding.

[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes I just want a wedding.

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes I can mute you.

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes I just want a wedding.

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to have to do all this stuff.

[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_04]: He's got a spirit inside of him.

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_04]: He's attached to him.

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_04]: So it is the week of the wedding and she's beginning to have these feelings.

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_04]: But they decide that if they're going to get married, they've got to give this one more go.

[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_04]: So they go back to the historical society and they find out that they have the rings on file that belonged to Malcolm and to Angeliqui.

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_04]: And so they are able to convince the historical society guy to give them the rings.

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_04]: They take the rings to Malcolm and it works.

[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_04]: They bring Malcolm to Angeliqui.

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's there.

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_04]: And they kiss.

[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_04]: It's amazing.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_04]: It's working.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_04]: So that's wonderful.

[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_04]: It is now time for their wedding.

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Brian and Jenna, they share their vows.

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Malcolm and Angeliqui, they share their vows.

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Both couples celebrate with a kiss.

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_04]: And both couples dance the night away until Angeliqui and Malcolm fade away into the light.

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_04]: But most importantly, Rachel and Steve kiss.

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_05]: And we all cheer.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_05]: And that, my friends, was Haunted Wedding.

[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_03]: We did it.

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_04]: We did do it.

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to take a quick break.

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to come back.

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to break the final non-Christmas movie down.

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Boy, it's that time.

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Here on Deck the Hallmark.

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Dano, things are getting busy for us.

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they are.

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_04]: No kidding.

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_04]: And I bet they're getting busy for the people out in the world as well because you've got the school going on.

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_04]: You've got the holidays approaching.

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe you're trying to watch 100 Christmas movies over the next two months.

[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_04]: And during that time, it is easy to forget about taking care of yourself.

[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I know that firsthand.

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_04]: One more time, that's Nutrafol.com, promo code DECK.

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Hello, everybody. Welcome back.

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_04]: It's Brian, it's Brian, it's Dan, and we're here today to talk about Haunted Wedding,

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_04]: a spooky movie, a scary movie, a Halloween movie, you might say.

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Indeed.

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_04]: And the final non-Christmas movie of the year for the Hallmark Channel.

[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_04]: We are here to share our thoughts, and what better way to do that than with our hot takes?

[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_04]: That's a good thing we came up with that.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_04]: I know.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_04]: It was us.

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_04]: No one has ever started a movie review by giving their thoughts.

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_03]: We did it in 2018, Year of Our Lord.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_03]: People were like, why aren't people giving their opinions on movies?

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Why is it?

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_03]: They just kind of skate around it.

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_03]: They skate around it.

[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_03]: We need to give your real thoughts.

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_03]: That was us.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_03]: That was us.

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_04]: There were podcasts that were giving fake thoughts.

[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Fake thoughts, yeah, and they were getting to them later in the episode.

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_04]: But a hot take out of the gate?

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Right out the gate, yeah.

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's still steaming.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Sometime in between minute 12 and minute 24, depending on the episode.

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Right out of the gate, as we say.

[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's get to our hot takes for Haunted Wedding.

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Brian, what did you think of Haunted Wedding?

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I like this a lot.

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Very different fall love story.

[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, it wasn't a, these two are going to fall in love, we're getting all these fall feels.

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_00]: We got haunted feels, fall feels for sure.

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But just a different story, which I thought was very cool.

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, very cool to watch.

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_00]: The cast, phenomenal.

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think we could speak highly enough about the cast.

[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Lauren Cochrane, their timing, her comedic timing is just great.

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Her and Steve Blond together forever, obviously.

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't expect Brian and Malcolm to be the same person.

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I thought they were going to look similar.

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Axe and a point, too?

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I didn't, so that was like a...

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Dominic Sherwood.

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Sure.

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Dominic Sherwood, yeah.

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_00]: He sure would.

[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_00]: He sure would.

[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_00]: And he did.

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_00]: He was great.

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_00]: He was great.

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: He was great.

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was just going to be a lookalike, kind of similar.

[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_00]: It was the same guy.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_00]: They got double duty.

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So very cool.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, impressed with that.

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Janelle can sing.

[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_00]: They let her sing.

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Please let her sing.

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_00]: She's great.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: She's great.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: She's always so good, too.

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we got to get to the Etublay of it all.

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Etublay should be on...

[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_03]: When do we start in our Etublay fancast?

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Today.

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Right now.

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Right in the second.

[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_00]: The guy should be on a postage stamp to begin with.

[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_00]: At the very least.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, at the very least.

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_00]: At the very least.

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_00]: A coin.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Anything that is like memorabilia.

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_00]: A flag.

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_00]: He's so great.

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_00]: He's so fun.

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_00]: He's the best.

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_03]: And I'll chime in here because I want to detach that from the hot take I have for this

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_03]: movie.

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_03]: But Etublay, if you...

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_03]: And I don't say this about many people on Hallmark Channel.

[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_03]: In fact, I think most of them, I think it's a great spot for them.

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_03]: If you think of the character actors that are great in movies, like character actors that

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_03]: have made a name for themselves being the quirky and or with in movies that you see in the

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_03]: theater.

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Steven Toblowski.

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Toblowski.

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Christopher Walken.

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, man.

[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Big names.

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Erica Tubble could do that.

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_03]: What he does in these movies is so quirky and different.

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_03]: And every character he plays is slightly different and super quirky.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_03]: He's really...

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_03]: We're writing Tobl-A-Movie.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_03]: We are.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_03]: We have to.

[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_03]: We have to.

[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Really funny.

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_03]: 1,000%.

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_03]: And he gets the bit and it just...

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a joy to watch dude do his thing.

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Every scene, he doesn't waste a second of it.

[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_03]: But he's not trying to take over.

[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_03]: He's not trying to wrinkle the page.

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_03]: He's playing his character.

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_03]: But like when that thing falls apart, like we'll get to it later.

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean...

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_00]: When the fire...

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a fire and there's his reaction to the fire.

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_03]: The guy's punching well above his weight class for character actors on Hallmark.

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_03]: That's all I'm saying.

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_03]: He does an amazing job.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_03]: He just elevates.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_00]: He's so great and so much confidence in him when he's in a movie.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And everybody...

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, everybody rose to the occasion in this and it was such a different type of movie.

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_00]: But he's a standout all the time.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And I had a really good time here.

[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Anybody can play a best friend.

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_04]: But can you play a best friend that we are rooting for?

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_04]: That we are like cheering for?

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_04]: That we're laughing with?

[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_04]: That we are remembering?

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_04]: How many best friends do you remember in these movies?

[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Very few.

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Very few.

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_03]: But also, they always used to make the best friend this super like quote unquote manly

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_03]: dude.

[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?

[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Who's like, we just need to go play darts at the bar and drink a couple of brewskis.

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_03]: And Atavali gets to play this very just like loves baking, comfortable in his own skin.

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_03]: A sentimental guy.

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Opinionated.

[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Like not the guy who's just a big dumb animal.

[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_03]: And that makes it even better.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_03]: And he's super quirky and he's funny too.

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_03]: So it works out great.

[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_04]: So I do really like this movie.

[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Of course, this movie is right up my alley.

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I love ghost shows.

[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I love ghost hunting.

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_04]: I love ghosts.

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Ghosts.

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_04]: I love scary movies.

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_04]: I think, you know, a Hallmark would never do it.

[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_04]: I would have liked for the ghost aspect of this movie is such a joke.

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's such a like, it's just silly.

[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_04]: It's just silly fun.

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not meant to be even.

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_04]: No one's ever at all scared of the ghost or anything.

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not scary.

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, their relationship is serious, but they're not seriously scary.

[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_04]: No.

[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_04]: What I'm saying is it's like ghost hunting in this movie is a joke.

[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_04]: The fact that they are ghost hunters is a joke.

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_04]: And I understand, like that's this Hallmark.

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_04]: They're never going to go down.

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Although, you know, we've got Hallmark Plus now, but they're never go like, oh my gosh,

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_04]: unscripted ghost hunting show with Hallstars.

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Write that down.

[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Got it.

[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_04]: You told yourself to and you are writing it down.

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Very good.

[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Very good.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Everybody's covered.

[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_04]: So like that part of it, like the fact that the ghost was so unserious.

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_04]: It was such a, it was, oh my gosh.

[00:18:48] [SPEAKER_04]: And he's afraid of ghosts.

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_04]: And so he's always scared.

[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh my gosh.

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_04]: He hates it.

[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_04]: He hates the show.

[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_04]: He hates everything.

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, sign me up right now.

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_04]: It's such a, it's so silly and whatever that it kind of took me out of it a little

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_04]: bit.

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_04]: But I get why they had to do it that way.

[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_04]: They're not going to ever have it.

[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_04]: They're never going to have a scare.

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_04]: They're never going to have a scare in a Hallmark movie.

[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, but as the, the Halloween movie, as the ghost movie, I would have liked for there to

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_04]: be at least some moment.

[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_04]: They never had a Halloween or ghost movie.

[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_04]: But I, you know, it's a fall movie for there to be.

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_04]: It's what it is.

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_04]: There's plenty fall in there.

[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Angeliqui shows up and, and, and Jen just like, eh, there she is.

[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, there's no, like, there's no spook to it.

[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_04]: No.

[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_04]: And I think even, uh, there's, I would have appreciated some of that to where ghost hunting

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_04]: wasn't just, wasn't just a big joke in the movie.

[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, cause there's a, it's a thing that they love and I, you know, treat it with some respect.

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_03]: First of all, I think they treat ghost hunting with the respected, I'm not making a joke

[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_03]: here.

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, I think ghost hunting hunting is ridiculous, but the two leads being ghost hunters, they

[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_03]: didn't denigrate that.

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_00]: They weren't making fun of them for it.

[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Um, I thought I liked the movie overall.

[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I, I think it kind of did better.

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Real West, Autumn and Apple Hill.

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_03]: You said they got better.

[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Everyone of them got better.

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_04]: This one is not my favorite.

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, I would say, yeah, it's tough.

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_04]: It isn't tough.

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not.

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_00]: For me, it's fundamentally not tough.

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Man, it's tough.

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_04]: I think this is probably number three.

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Bran has lost his ever loving mind.

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_03]: This is easily one of the best movies of the year.

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I love this movie.

[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_03]: This movie's great.

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Dan loved the movie.

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's great.

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Dan loved the movie.

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_03]: This movie's fantastic.

[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_03]: The cast across the board.

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_03]: The cast.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Guys.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody in this movie destroys.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_03]: I have one problem and it's a wait, what?

[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to like not give it away here.

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_03]: I have one issue with it.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_03]: One.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_03]: This cast crushes.

[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a screwball comedy.

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_03]: It deals with ghosts.

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_03]: But the leads, Janelle Parrish, Dominic Sherwood are both amazing.

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Then you get the best character actor Hallmark has doing his thing.

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_03]: That love, that's Rachel and Steve.

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_03]: That was funny.

[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_03]: The ghost love story worked.

[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_03]: This is how you make this movie.

[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_03]: I gave this zero ghosts in the fall preview.

[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_03]: You sure did.

[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Didn't know it had Erica Tovely in it.

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Wasn't confident they could do it correctly.

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_03]: I talked to Nina Weinman after watching this movie.

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I texted her and I was like, hey, this is great.

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_03]: It's clever.

[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_03]: It's quick.

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_03]: It's funny.

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_03]: It's snappy.

[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_03]: It's everything you want one of these movies to be.

[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_03]: They take this material with the exact amount of levity you need to take for it.

[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Hallmark or not, in my opinion.

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought it was pitch perfect across the board.

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Save for one thing.

[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll talk about the way.

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_03]: What?

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_03]: And she said this was a movie brought to Hallmark.

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_03]: The idea was brought to Hallmark, but then she came in to make it what it was, which is where you get probably those contrasting styles.

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Having said that, I can't imagine wanting more out of a movie on Hallmark Channel than this movie.

[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_03]: You care about the love interests.

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_03]: You care about the CD plot lines and you care about the ghost.

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's really funny.

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_03]: This is as good a fall movie as I've seen since we've been doing these shows.

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_03]: It's really, really good.

[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Miles better than the other three movies, guys.

[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Miles better.

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_03]: I disagree.

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_03]: The ghost stuff didn't work for me.

[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what it comes down to.

[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't care for it.

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_04]: It's fun to play the role of Dan from time to time.

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm much more.

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I love the two leads and I love the best friends.

[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_04]: And all of that worked for me.

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_04]: The ghost stuff didn't work.

[00:22:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Ghost stuff was just enough.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_03]: If they had made it the central, if they had made it the A plot, I'd have had a problem.

[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_03]: But I think the A plot was clearly how do we get this wedding on and do we get married?

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_03]: And I think that was the B plot.

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_03]: And it worked perfectly for me.

[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_04]: It's time for All the Feels.

[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_04]: We're talking about what this movie gave us feels, Brian.

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, two feels.

[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And one actually is sort of that balance.

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.

[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_03]: I got carried away.

[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_03]: You said you'd have this third of those four movies.

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_03]: What two movies are ahead of it?

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Apple Hill and Real West?

[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Wowzers.

[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I think it'd be a Duke out for number two.

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow.

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_04]: I think it'd be a Duke out for number two.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_03]: And you think the West Brown, Aaron Cahill, Apple Hill movie is miles better than this one?

[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I enjoyed it more.

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_04]: It was super full.

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_04]: This is definitely a higher concept movie.

[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_04]: This movie definitely takes more risk than this movie.

[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_03]: This movie is...

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_03]: This is, for me, one of the rare movies that takes a bigger risk and pays it off bigger.

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And works more.

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_04]: The conversation from last week plays perfectly here.

[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_04]: I still adore old Hallmark.

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, correct.

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_04]: That still works for me.

[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_04]: It's never worked for you.

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Correct.

[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_04]: And so...

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I just thought this movie was a cut above what we normally see on the channel.

[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I think this movie qualitatively is a cut above what we're used to seeing, even in 2024.

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think it's my favorite movie of the year, but I think it's in the top three,

[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_03]: up there with My Dreams of You and the France movie.

[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_03]: I think it's qualitatively, if everything else plays in that four, five, six out of ten sandbox,

[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_03]: this is a seven.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_04]: For me, personally, this fall has...

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_04]: It's everything that I wanted when we started fall with...

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_04]: You're right.

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_04]: And we did this whole thing where it's like, hey, if you're going to do fall, freaking do fall.

[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_04]: They've done fall.

[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_04]: They've done fall.

[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_04]: They've done fall this year, and I really appreciate it.

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_04]: And the fall movies that were actually fall, there's no...

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think it's a coincidence that those are my...

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Sure.

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_04]: At the top...

[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_04]: They're going to be...

[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_04]: All of those are going to be at the top of my list.

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not a super fall.

[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_04]: No, but it still worked.

[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_04]: It worked for me a lot.

[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's get...

[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Where were you at?

[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Probably two...

[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I think Real West...

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_03]: You had Real West one.

[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Because that is so different.

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_03]: You had Autumn and Apple Hill one.

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_03]: I have...

[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_03]: That's going to be fun in the rankings.

[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Sure it is.

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_04]: But I also think that that proves that Hallmark is doing something right.

[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Agreed.

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Because they are covering the bases here.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_04]: They are covering the bases, and something is going to work for everybody.

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Because I think Autumn and Apple is a bad movie, when I...

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Last week, when we talked about it, I specifically said,

[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Hallmark is still throwing out these movies because they know people like them.

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_03]: I have no problem with that.

[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's get to the feels.

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_00]: What do you think?

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_00]: So, one of my feels is the ghosting of it all.

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's sort of how they balance the intuition and the science.

[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And they use it for comedy.

[00:25:02] [SPEAKER_00]: They use it to move the story.

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's really cool.

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_00]: They're not making fun of it.

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_00]: They use it.

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought they did a great job with it.

[00:25:08] [SPEAKER_00]: So, that was really great.

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_00]: The other thing is, you can tell this was written by a pro.

[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I forgot why I wrote this.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I remember seeing her name on the screen.

[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, in this movie, she does what the creators of South Park preach.

[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's like all over writing courses.

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody talks about this method of like, when you're writing, you do...

[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_00]: You use but or therefore instead of and then.

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_00]: So, whatever's happening next, make it a but.

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, they're doing this, but this happens.

[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Or this happened, therefore this has to happen.

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Never do this, and then they do this, and then they do this.

[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Never.

[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_00]: And in this movie, it is always therefore or but.

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_00]: They have to take a hayride, but her dad's allergic.

[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's great.

[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_00]: He's got the allergies.

[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_00]: He gets the coin, but there's a fight outside, and he loses the coin.

[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like always tension.

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Always tension.

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Have we mentioned the classic Santa in this movie?

[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_04]: He's great.

[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_04]: He's great.

[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_04]: The father.

[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_03]: And he shows up for hardly anything.

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_04]: He's great.

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_04]: You're right.

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_04]: So many people.

[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_04]: From top to bottom.

[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_04]: And I didn't know Dominic Sherwood, really.

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Me either.

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't very familiar with him.

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_04]: He was great.

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_03]: He was great.

[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_03]: In both roles.

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Great.

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Janelle Parrish.

[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I just am really starting to love her, because she's doing something new and different.

[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_03]: I think she's one of the best on the network.

[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_03]: She's great.

[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_03]: 100%.

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Those are my feels right there.

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Listen.

[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_04]: We've talked about the tough lay of it all, but it is tough to emphasize.

[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_04]: How exciting it was that him and Rachel ended up together at the end of this movie.

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Not only is it so rare for us to care about the friends in the movies, it is even more rare

[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_04]: for a love interest down there to be as important to me as the leads are.

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_04]: And dadgum it, if I didn't love it.

[00:27:06] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's one of those things where I'm ready.

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Give those two.

[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought Rachel was great, too.

[00:27:11] [SPEAKER_04]: She was.

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Give them a movie.

[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Let them come along for the ride.

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Tell their story.

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Because I thought that they were both dynamite and really engaging.

[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I honestly think it would have been just as much fun for him to keep trying and her to keep being like nuts.

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_03]: That would have been funny, too.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_03]: They were that good of a couple as the C storyline in this movie that I thought they could carry a movie easily.

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_03]: For sure.

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_03]: You got anything else?

[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Mine, when Erica Tubble's eyes get really big when that thing falls apart and he freezes.

[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just great.

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just like he needs to be in a Hall of the Holly movie.

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_03]: He's so funny.

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Hall of the Holly 3 with Erica Tubble?

[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you're kidding me right now.

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Try and stop me.

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_04]: What I love about it, you talk about it with his eyes, but the way that he utilizes his face is better than anyone else on Hallmark Channel, I think.

[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Just the way his facial expressions just tell the whole story.

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_04]: He crushes it.

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's take a quick break.

[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll come back with the way he went and what the Hallmark here on.

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Deck the Hallmark.

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Deck the Hallmark.

[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_04]: A total addition.

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I do love that me being a Dan is me still saying a movie is one of my favorites of the year.

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_04]: That's right.

[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_03]: No, you said, I liked it, but Ghost Stuff didn't work for me.

[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_03]: You never said one of my favorites of the year.

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_04]: It is one of my favorites of the year.

[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, it is one of my favorites.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, that's different.

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_04]: All these fall movies are, aside from Real West, in my book, they're all going to end up in...

[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_04]: We can take it to the tape.

[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Your hot take was, I liked this, the Ghost Stuff didn't work for me.

[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.

[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_03]: It's probably going to end up third on the list of fall movies.

[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Never, it's one of my favorites of the year.

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't hear that.

[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_04]: No, that's fair.

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_04]: I maybe didn't say that.

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Because the fact that this isn't anybody's...

[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_03]: I can't, as someone who likes movies that are made well, this not being a favorite of

[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_03]: the year is crazy to me.

[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_04]: It's wild.

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but you shouldn't be surprised that that's not even close to my number one category

[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_04]: for how I would rank the movie.

[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_04]: But it is one of my favorites of the year, I will say.

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_04]: But all of these...

[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_03]: The ranking is going to be fun.

[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_03]: These fall movies freaking slapped.

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_03]: They slapped this year.

[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I would hard disagree with you there.

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_03]: They slapped this year.

[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_03]: No, they did not.

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_03]: They did.

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_03]: They did.

[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_03]: My two favorite fall movies aren't about fall.

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Real West, His and Hers.

[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Now, aside from this one, I think Real West and His and Hers are better than Falling Together

[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_03]: and Autumn and Apple Hill.

[00:29:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Man, His and Hers, it's just not...

[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_03]: They're great together.

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know, but it's just not fall.

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_00]: They're great together.

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just not fall.

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not fall at all.

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_03]: But when we're ranking movies, that doesn't matter.

[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_03]: We're not ranking the fall movies.

[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_03]: It kind of does, though.

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Does it?

[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's a fall.

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_03]: It plays into it a little bit.

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, a little bit.

[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_04]: You guys are insane.

[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_04]: It plays into it a little bit.

[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_04]: All right, at least.

[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_04]: It's time for the Wait What.

[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_04]: It's time for the Wait What.

[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_04]: It's time for the Wait What.

[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_04]: It's time for the Wait What.

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll start with you, Brian.

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, twist my arm and make me come up with a Wait What or two.

[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_00]: This was tough, because this whole movie is just you got to buy into what they're doing

[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_00]: and everything about it.

[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_00]: The speeches around the fire, I guess I could have done without.

[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Kind of like a best man speech.

[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a little weird.

[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_00]: It didn't really fit the vibe.

[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I thought they could have skipped that.

[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think that really had a place here.

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_00]: The butler didn't speak.

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_00]: They just kept having him carry bags.

[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, give a line.

[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Give him a line.

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Give him something.

[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_00]: A little throw him something.

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I would love to hear his thoughts on a few things.

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Just muttering something would have been really, really great.

[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_00]: But just having him say nothing the whole time was like, just hook the guy up with a line.

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And the inn owner is just involved in everything.

[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_00]: She's just at the campfire.

[00:30:39] [SPEAKER_00]: She's in the kitchen.

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_00]: She's just in everything with nothing else to do, which I feel like she should have something

[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_00]: else to work on.

[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, this is scraping the bottle of the barrel here.

[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So I got to the end of this, and I'm like, oh, boy.

[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I did not fill out this section.

[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_00]: So I was just bought in for the ride, really.

[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know.

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll leave the good ones for you guys to bring up.

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_04]: You talk about a ride.

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's talk about the hayride.

[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Sure.

[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_04]: Sure.

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_04]: A charcuterie board with fruit.

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a bad idea.

[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a bad idea.

[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_04]: It's an all-around bad idea.

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't really care what the surface is that you're being pulled on.

[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_04]: You're on a wagon sitting on hay with no seatbelt.

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_04]: And so there's something about a wagon that just doesn't matter if you're on a paved road.

[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_04]: It's going to shake.

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not charcuterie food.

[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_04]: It's not a charcuterie safe space.

[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Absolutely not.

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_03]: No.

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_03]: And we have a list of those on the website.

[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_03]: You can go to it.

[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_03]: The state requires it.

[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_03]: If you go to deckdommer.com slash cute, that's what you'll get.

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Charcuterie safe space.

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not what you think, buddy.

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_03]: And a picture of my face.

[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Below the charcuterie.

[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, Brian's out here.

[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Not you.

[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Brian in this movie is out here like he came up with attachment theory when it comes to ghosts.

[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Shove off, Brian.

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Watch a single show.

[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Listen to a single ghost podcast.

[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_06]: This is a very essential theory when it comes to podcasting.

[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Is that ghosts attach themselves to objects?

[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_06]: Read a book.

[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_06]: I didn't know about this.

[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_06]: Read a book.

[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_05]: I didn't know this was real.

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_05]: I thought they made it all up.

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_05]: I know, and that's what they were hoping for.

[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_05]: Brian was trying to come in, not you.

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_05]: Brian was trying to come in here and take all the credit for attachment theory.

[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Or you think more people are going to be you or Brian watching this movie?

[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Brian!

[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_03]: 100%.

[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Of course.

[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_04]: They're just better people than me because when the metal, which for some reason they took out of the plaque,

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_04]: falls down into the storm drain, they're so sad because it's like, oh, our mission is failed.

[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_04]: My first thought would be like, is there any way I can get my $2,400 back?

[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_04]: $2,400.

[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_06]: $2,400.

[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Literally down the drain.

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Literally, yeah.

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_06]: That would hurt.

[00:32:44] [SPEAKER_06]: That would sting a lot.

[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_04]: But they're just better.

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_04]: They really are invested in this relationship, which shows that they're better people and

[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_04]: also that Brian just has way more money than me, which is true there and true here.

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Lastly, the pastor says, I'm understanding that you all wrote your own vows.

[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Couldn't be shorter.

[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_04]: No.

[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Couldn't be shorter vows.

[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Typically when you want them to be personal, like talk about your love of Christmas, et cetera,

[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_04]: they couldn't have tried less on their vows.

[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_04]: And maybe that's because of the length of the movie.

[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe that's because they're working so hard at bringing these two lovebirds together.

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_04]: A little distracted, yeah.

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_04]: But at that point, if you don't have time to write the vows, maybe just do the old stand

[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_04]: boys.

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Standbys.

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Or the stand boys.

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_04]: You do the stand boys or the standbys.

[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Stand boys or girls.

[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_04]: I promise to love you.

[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Kiss the bride.

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Forever.

[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_04]: And as, listen, as someone who goes to a wedding, I appreciate a short vow.

[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_04]: We love a short vow.

[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_04]: We love a short vow.

[00:33:44] [SPEAKER_04]: But if you're going to write them, you've got to write them, right?

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_04]: You've got to write them.

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_04]: You've got to put some personality in there.

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Of course.

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Dana?

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_03]: No.

[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_03]: I do need to point out that she's a teacher taking a week off before her wedding in October.

[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Not happening.

[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_03]: The PTO for teachers, that's a joke.

[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Any teacher watching this would have been like, no.

[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_03]: When I had to take off time for my actual honeymoon, I got docked pay.

[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I got two days and then they docked my pay because it wasn't professional growth and development,

[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_03]: nor was it working or sick.

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_03]: And they wouldn't let me combine them at that point.

[00:34:17] [SPEAKER_03]: We got the love bug.

[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_03]: So you see what you did there.

[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_03]: The big thing that bothered me in this movie and the only thing that really bothered me

[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_03]: in this movie is the guy that they bring in who is a professional ghost hunter.

[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_03]: However, like why?

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Why?

[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Like they keep giving him chances and I assume it's for comedic effect.

[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not very funny.

[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_03]: But a Brian, not this Brian, being a real ghost hunter, being obsessed with this guy

[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_03]: that's so clearly a fraud, it just was stupid.

[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_03]: It was a dumb thing to do.

[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.

[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_03]: To bring this guy in for two scenes of this movie.

[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_03]: You bring him in once.

[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I think it's stupid, but I'm like, well, at least you learned your lesson.

[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_03]: You bring him in a second time.

[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_03]: It's like, guys, he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about.

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_03]: And I thought they were going to explain it.

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought they were going to be like, oh, I actually really wanted to give this guy a

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_03]: chance because he's a friend of mine.

[00:35:12] [SPEAKER_04]: You're putting the words what left a bad taste in my mouth.

[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_04]: But that's two scenes.

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a farce.

[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a farce.

[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh my gosh.

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_03]: You just need to calm down.

[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Just take it seriously.

[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Give it respect.

[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_03]: It's maybe five minutes of an or maybe five seconds.

[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_03]: You nailed it.

[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_03]: It's maybe five minutes of an 80 to 30 minute movie.

[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't work.

[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_03]: My wait what was having him in the movie.

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Really?

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I liked him.

[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I liked what he brought.

[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_03]: It's fine.

[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_03]: He was not a bad actor.

[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_03]: My problem is, is would these characters bring this guy in in that scenario twice?

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Right.

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_03]: After the first time was a sham and they knew it was a sham because they could see the

[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_03]: ghost.

[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_03]: They would never bring him in again.

[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_03]: That was a big wait what for me.

[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Huge.

[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Huge.

[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Huge.

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Also, if you're going to talk to a ghost.

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_01]: The biggest wait what?

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Biggest wait what?

[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_03]: They're eating the ghost.

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_03]: So if you're going to be at a bar and talk to a ghost, what you shouldn't do is sit on

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_03]: the same side of the table and talk to the ghost on that side because then everyone is

[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_03]: going to think you're crazy, which is what happens in this movie.

[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_03]: You would naturally have one of you sit on that side, right?

[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Like you would do that to keep people from being like, what are the crazies doing over

[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_03]: there?

[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if I would have thought about it.

[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Really?

[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I think I would have been like, what?

[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_03]: I would immediately be like, one of us is sitting over there.

[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_03]: We're not doing this thing where people keep coming up to us going, what are you talking

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_03]: about?

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Who are you talking to?

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm talking to the ghost.

[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Show them off.

[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_03]: And then two others.

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't want to hurt my neck.

[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_03]: First, the big one I have is when the medallion goes into the sewer drain.

[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_03]: The medallion.

[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_03]: The medallion.

[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_03]: The black medallion.

[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_03]: The black medallion.

[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_03]: When it goes in the storm drain, wouldn't Malcolm go with it?

[00:36:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Isn't that how that works?

[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_03]: He went back in, though.

[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_03]: But that storm drain.

[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, follow the thing.

[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_02]: He would go with the...

[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Follow the thing.

[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Wouldn't he go into the storm drain?

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_04]: That is correct, Dan.

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_04]: But he can't pick it up.

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the attachment theory.

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_04]: So he is now...

[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm being serious, though.

[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_04]: He is attached to the medallion.

[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Spooky music.

[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_04]: So he would go with it.

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_04]: He would go with medallion.

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_04]: He wouldn't go back.

[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_04]: He wouldn't go back in.

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_04]: He would go with it.

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_04]: The only way that he would go back is if the medallion was destroyed, which is not destroyed.

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_03]: It falls down.

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_03]: There are definitely moments in this movie that the wedding vows, where they don't have enough...

[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, this movie needs to be at about an hour or 40, right?

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_03]: To give them time to go, oh my gosh, I've seen a ghost.

[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_03]: What in the world?

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_03]: It's real.

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_04]: They got the characters to get there, too.

[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And they have great characters to give, obviously, Erica Tavoli more time.

[00:37:39] [SPEAKER_03]: But there were some shortcuts they took, vows being one, and then the coin sending them

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_03]: back to the pub being another that don't quite add up in this movie, for sure.

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I wrote my vows.

[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_03]: I love you.

[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I put my heart and soul under that.

[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I love you.

[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Lastly, they finally get the ghost couple back together.

[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_03]: They are not ready for their wedding.

[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_03]: The entire wedding party is down there.

[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Steve and Rachel are trying to stall.

[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Cut to night time.

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And they are completely made up in their wedding attire.

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_03]: So the wedding party waited another hour or two minimum for that wedding to start.

[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Kudos to those folks.

[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_03]: They're doing a great job.

[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_04]: Good, folks.

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_04]: It's time for What the Homemakers.

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_04]: We wonder what could have been.

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe having us declared it, any questions that we still have.

[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Brian?

[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm wondering if everything...

[00:38:28] [SPEAKER_04]: This Brian.

[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_04]: This Brian.

[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_00]: If everything they do is haunted or ghost-themed, because for friends and family, that's got

[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_00]: to get old.

[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to get old quick.

[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Anniversaries, birthday...

[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything can't be ghost-themed.

[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Like hunting ghosts.

[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm wondering if that's what they're going to go.

[00:38:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Is there going to be an intervention at some point where they try to...

[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Would be thrilled to see a sequel to this movie where they go to another haunted place

[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_03]: just to investigate because they're now legit ghost hunters.

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_00]: They start a little ghost-hunting business.

[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I'm just wondering.

[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that would be great to see the follow-up.

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot to play with there.

[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_04]: As they are...

[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Jen and Rachel are showing up to the inn, the only other guest at the inn is leaving

[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_04]: in a hurry, mad that she served him gluten.

[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I think she lied.

[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, she's trying to cover it up.

[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_03]: He's running away.

[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh.

[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And she's like, uh, I served him gluten.

[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Great.

[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_04]: I was just like, you have one guest and you can't get the allergies.

[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_04]: You can't remember that.

[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a tough joke.

[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_04]: The gluten joke is risky.

[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_04]: The gluten joke's always risky.

[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_04]: But, uh, okay.

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Risk it for the biscuit.

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I will buy that and I will, uh, withdraw.

[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Sure.

[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_03]: You withdraw.

[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Use and withdraw.

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_03]: It's very good.

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_03]: All right.

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Take it off the board.

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Mine's already been talked about.

[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_03]: It's Rachel and Steve.

[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_03]: When do I get a Rachel and Steve movie?

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't really care the circumstance.

[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_03]: It could be a road trip.

[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_03]: It could be a spring forward.

[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_03]: It could be a June wedding.

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_03]: It could be a Valentine's.

[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_03]: It could be a...

[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't care.

[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't care.

[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_03]: The next movie that you have a script for but don't really have anything else signed up

[00:39:58] [SPEAKER_03]: for.

[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Now it's a Rachel and Steve movie and I think that's more than fair.

[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_03]: It is more than fair, Dano.

[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_04]: We did it, everybody.

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we did.

[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Congratulations.

[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_04]: The final non-Christmas movie of the year.

[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_04]: It's hard to believe that it's already here, but it is in the books.

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_04]: It is time for the Double Decker of the Week, though.

[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_04]: It's where we dive deep into the life of one of the Double Deckers that has signed up for

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Bramble Jam Plus at the Double Decker tier or higher, which I must say, if you are on the

[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_04]: fence about it...

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Now's the time.

[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Now's the time.

[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.

[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_04]: We're about to push out so much stuff.

[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_04]: You get all the video.

[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_04]: You get all it.

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_04]: That's exactly right.

[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_04]: You get the Facebook community.

[00:40:33] [SPEAKER_04]: You get to watch all of the Christmas movies.

[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_04]: There's a thread inside the group.

[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_04]: People chat along.

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like you're watching all the movies with your best friends.

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_04]: It's so much fun.

[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_04]: This is the best time of the year to join Bramble Jam Plus, although there's never a bad time.

[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Never a bad time.

[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_04]: But you will also get your story told.

[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_03]: You get discounts on all of our events.

[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_03]: That's true.

[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_03]: You get all kinds of fun stuff.

[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_04]: And you're going to tell the stories of the people, whether they want it or not, because

[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_04]: you do the deep dive.

[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_04]: You don't have a choice.

[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_04]: You do the deep dive and you tell the stories of the people that have signed up.

[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Who do we have today, Dan?

[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_04]: This week's Double Decker of the Week, Sarah Morgan.

[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Sarah Morgan.

[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Round of applause for Sarah.

[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Sarah really doing some great work out there.

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_04]: That seems like a hard name to Google Plus.

[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_04]: How do you do that?

[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Sarah Morgan.

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_00]: For sure.

[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_00]: The stuff is pretty advanced.

[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_00]: It knows kind of what you're looking for.

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh.

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And so it doesn't really, you know, for someone with my caliber of research expertise, it's

[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_00]: not too bad.

[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Sarah doing what she's always wanted to do, opening up, I guess, a grocery store of

[00:41:30] [SPEAKER_00]: sorts that focuses on, you know, everything's a niche now.

[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_00]: You got to have a niche.

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Micro niche even.

[00:41:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:41:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And so what she's doing is focusing on her favorite food, which is beans.

[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_00]: And so her store is just all beans.

[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Here we go.

[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Just beans.

[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_00]: It's all beans.

[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_00]: All beans.

[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_00]: She has a store.

[00:41:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:41:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's all just sells beans.

[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That sounds it.

[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't go in.

[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Why not?

[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't like beans.

[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't like beans?

[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_00]: You know any?

[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't know somebody who likes beans?

[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure you know someone who likes beans.

[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but everybody knows somebody who likes beans.

[00:42:00] [SPEAKER_03]: This is where you're going to get the best beans.

[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, fine.

[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_04]: If I...

[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_04]: What's the catch of, bro?

[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I've never bought beans for someone else, though.

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_03]: There's always something else.

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_03]: But you can send them.

[00:42:08] [SPEAKER_03]: You know where the best beans are.

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_04]: You can probably order online.

[00:42:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, if I wanted to send beans to my favorite bean-loving friend, where would I go?

[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_00]: What's the name of the store?

[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's named after her six favorite beans, which is beans, beans, beans, beans, beans,

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_00]: beans, beans, is the store.

[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Beans, beans, beans, beans, beans, beans.

[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's named after black beans, the baked beans, garbanzo beans, lima beans.

[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Why'd she pick six?

[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Six.

[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_00]: These are just the six, the top six, the big six, if you will.

[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_03]: The store is named the word beans six times?

[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_03]: It's bean.

[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Is there any sort of zany play on words or a way that it's brought to the people where

[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_04]: you see it?

[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_00]: You need a code word to get in, and I haven't figured it.

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_00]: That's something I can't find.

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, really?

[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_00]: It has to be like a pun, like a bean pun.

[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I am so far out at sea.

[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Sarah is just doing it, man.

[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Beans are important to her.

[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't want anybody who doesn't truly care about beans to get in.

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_00]: What about human beans?

[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_00]: No, that's not one of the top six, unfortunately, Dan.

[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.

[00:43:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And refried beans also not on the list, so don't even try.

[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Beans, sing goodbye.

[00:43:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, how y'all doing?

[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Welcome to Beans, Beans, Beans, Beans, Beans, Beans.

[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm Beans.

[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_03]: That was seven.

[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Beans, Daryl.

[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Beans.

[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_03]: You want beans?

[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Better have a code.

[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Beans.

[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Not just going to let you in here to buy my beans.

[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Beans, Beans, Beans, Beans, Beans.

[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Beans, Beans.

[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Come on down, maybe, if you have a code.

[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_00]: 1-800-BEANS.

[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Beans, Beans, Beans, Beans.

[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't have the 800 number yet.

[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I would be careful with that.

[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_00]: That's her commercial.

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_00]: It's her commercial.

[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_00]: It's something I found.

[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_00]: It's actually in flux.

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_05]: She must have it live now.

[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_05]: She put it in the commercial.

[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man, I don't know.

[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd be careful with that 800 number, Beans.

[00:43:59] [SPEAKER_00]: That's all.

[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_00]: This is some of your worst work.

[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Beans, Beans, Beans, Beans, Beans, Beans.

[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_05]: Not only did you not get the code word.

[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_05]: Not only did you not get the code word.

[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_05]: You're pushing for the info about the 1-800-hour-only.

[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_05]: We should have a way to get in the store.

[00:44:15] [SPEAKER_05]: It's a bean pun.

[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_05]: We don't have a way to get in the store.

[00:44:17] [SPEAKER_05]: You guys don't like Beans.

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_05]: No wonder.

[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_05]: But she put the 1-800 number in the commercial,

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_05]: and then you come in here with the audacity saying it's not real.

[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_05]: It's her commercial.

[00:44:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Sarah's jumping the gun there is all.

[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe she's not ready for prime time.

[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Appreciate it.

[00:44:31] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll be back next time with another one.

[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Until then, maybe we're the first to wish you up.

[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Merry Christmas.
