[00:00:01] Hi, I'm Brandon, I love Hallmark... ...movie. Table movies! I'm Brian, I like Hallmark table movies. I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark table movies and this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast! ...the Hallmark gets this podcast. Is it The Survivor? ...and friends host this podcast.

[00:00:28] We hope you like this jolly podcast. ...the Hallmark. ...you know, I know we release episodes every week, every weekday. But it feels like we haven't done one of these in quite some time. ...a little bit of time. I know, it just, this weekend felt like two weeks. You know what I mean? Yeah, it feels like some time's gone by. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know what happened. The set is cleaned up a bit, maybe that's part of it. We zoomed in, how do you know the set's cleaned up a bit? They don't know that.

[00:00:59] Look, if you look, phyla.tv.tb.h looks the same as it always does. Well, there's no garland. There's no garland. Yeah, that's garland for you. That's garland for you. It's not Christmas anymore. Yeah, we always say Christmas ends around March 25th. I don't wanna... March Madness begins, Christmas ends. That's exactly it. That is honestly how I live my life. Christmas to March Madness. Christmas to March Madness. To Christmas in July. That's exactly right. It's March Madness to NBA Playoffs to Christmas in July. Yeah. The bubble. What's going on in the bubble? What's going on in the bubble?

[00:01:28] First of all, hi everybody. It's great to see you. Hey. Brian, it's great to see you. How was your weekend? Really quickly... My weekend was great, Brian. Thanks for asking. Well, we've talked. Yeah. I... Interesting. We haven't really talked about this much, but we are coming to... Sounds like it was a great weekend, yeah. Yeah, well, thank you so much, Brian. We are coming to a close... Hung out with my buddy, Brian. We're going to be here for the next couple of weeks to close of this studio iteration of Dike the Home Art. That's right. That's right.

[00:01:58] Only a couple more weeks left in this. Two and a half years in this particular studio. Yeah. I wonder if I get to move too. No. We're still... Three still out. Oh. We actually, I think, have... We have... But a new studio, and when we say new studio, aside from the mics and the soundboard, all new. I'm even looking at new mics. What? I'm just looking. We're just making money over here. I'm just looking. All new studio. Just throw it into the mortgage. Everything... Follow that TV slash DTH. Whatever you see behind us, you will not see ever again.

[00:02:28] Magic trick. So... You can roll all that stuff right in. Look forward to that. That's coming. And that's hopefully in two weeks. Yeah. We'll see what happens. Movie company hung up on it. As the person responsible for a lot of that, I would say, let's just say 50-50. It's coming. We're approaching the end. It's coming. It's coming. Lord willing. Yes. It's a really fun place for us. We're looking forward to it. It's like the CEO comes through. That's right. Filo.tv slash DTH though, if you want to experience the last couple of weeks of the studio. One last time.

[00:02:57] A lot of people... Should we vlog the end of the move? The whole kind of end of it? We should vlog some way. I think Trace... I heard Trace was putting together a package. A clip show. A clip show. A clip show. Call me package Trace. No, I will not, Trace. But I want to be very clear. We already have the best of show. So this clip package as a sayonara to this studio is what exactly? So you guys know how I record everything notoriously. Yes. Yes.

[00:03:26] Forgot about that actually. So this best of, and it's not ready yet, but this best of is all of the stuff that happens after hours. What do? When you say after hours. We only sneeze after hours. After, what do you mean? We all leave the studio. But sometimes you come back and you forget that I'm recording. After hours. Brian.

[00:03:57] Yeah. Your business dealings. Well... I know about them. Okay. And it's all gonna come out. Oh no. As soon as she said Brian, it all made sense. It's all going to come out in the best of. Man. Just get ready. Can't wait to find those tapes. It's the best of of Brian after hours. Hope they don't get destroyed in the move. Yeah. They're digital Brian, you dummy. What are you gonna miss the most, Trace, about this studio? Since you literally were fired when we moved into this studio. Yeah. Well I've been living above.

[00:04:27] You've been living above? Yeah. Look up. Other shoulder. Other shoulder. See that? Oh yeah. That's where I live. See that on there? You gave her a courtesy. You gave her a courtesy. Looks a little tight up there. That was nice of you. No, no. Do you see that one tile? I don't see... Where it's like lifted up its tiny bit? Yeah. Where the HVAC was installed? That's me. Oh. That's you. Is that why the internet doesn't work sometimes?

[00:04:56] That's how I get in and out. Okay. Alright. Thanks, Trace. And record everything, Brian. So what are you gonna miss the most? Probably crawling up there? Yeah, crawling up there. You know, you kind of get used to it, you know? And it kind of becomes... It's hard to imagine this, but sometimes when you have to go in and out of a hole so much, you get used to it and it becomes kind of like a second hole. Yeah. Definitely. Interesting. I'm gonna miss the ceiling. Beautiful image. Am I gonna have a space at the new one? Probably not, right? No, no room there.

[00:05:26] Well, there's a little nook. There's a little nook. No nooks. There is a nook. You guys know what I'm talking about. The little door. There's a little... There is a little... Yeah. Wait a minute. She records everything. I record everything. Hey, Aaron, how's your cam? You got an Aaron cam today? Oh my goodness. Would you look at that? How about that? Aaron came back up. Just in time for us to tear this baby down. Aaron, how was your weekend? Great. Good. Yeah. My weekend was great, Brian. Thank you. We're still not asking, Dan.

[00:05:56] No. It's unbelievable. I'm kind of curious about it. I mean, all the time that you've asked me and I've not wanted you to, and now I just feel like Trace up in the nook up there. Well, yeah. I'll just... And again, I don't want to speak on her behalf, but this is a hole. Yeah. Yeah. What she's going to be moving into is a nook. Yes. Different. Yes. I think she's talking about the little door. I know exactly where she's talking about. Yes. And that is an actual storage space. It is perfect for her. It's not... It's probably filled with stuff. You would hope...

[00:06:25] That would be the perfect for all the props that we use around here. Like a little bed or something. A little... All right. Hearts around the table. The Uno. A little trouble we're getting. Jenna's first. Table. A appendectomy. Hearts. We're getting four hearts around the table movies. Yes. And it's very fun. And I do have good news, everybody. Four more.

[00:06:51] There were discussions, and I feel good to announce this now, Dan. Is it okay? I can't believe it. Yeah. But whatever. Just go ahead. Well, Wind Calls the Heart is over, and so we're like, what do we do next with Jax? You know, we want to... People love Jax. We love Jax. We want to... Can I just say before you go any further, this is a product of a couple of things. Before you think I caved here, listener, viewer. Before you think I caved. Drunken night at the casino. There's... No. No. No. That's a different story. There are... We have a lot going on right now. It's a big...

[00:07:21] It actually is a big few weeks. We're trying to move a whole studio. We're trying to do a lot of things, and we needed something we could record ahead of time, and the content was already available, and that... We sat down. What did I do this weekend? Brandon and I were on my back porch. Kids were playing. We were going through April's schedule. It was a real fun time. This is why I conceded here. I didn't dig my heels in the ground.

[00:07:47] I conceded here because it made too much sense not to, but I already hate myself. Love Club Moms! God, coming at ya! There you go. Coming at ya! Proud of you guys. Coming up in April, so you can look forward to that. Love Club Moms with Jax. Has Jax seen the Love Club straight up? I don't know. I don't think that she has, but I also don't know if it's important. Love Club Moms. Love Club Moms coming to you in April. Alright, let's do Hearts Around the Table, shall we? Hearts Around the Table colon Jenna's first love.

[00:08:17] Jenna. Jenna. I'm about to get Jenna with it. March 22nd. Uh huh. So while some were watching March Madness, I said, Dan, turn it off, put on Jenna's first Put on Jenna. Put on Jenna. Jenna's first love. And I went a little something like this. Jenna is a hotshot deal maker who is about to walk into Redlands Venture.

[00:08:45] To pitch a billionaire. Billionaire. Billionaire. She's an event guru, so to speak. And she's hoping that she can plan a big event that this guy wants to do. As she's walking in, she bumps into a dude. Turns out she knows that dude. That dude is Andrew. Andrew. They quickly catch up. Apparently they were high school sweethearts. But one day he just disappeared. A minor.

[00:09:15] Just up and ran. But off she goes for the meeting. And then she is surprised to find out that she is going to be meeting with Andrew. Andrew is consulting for Redlands Venture. And he is like, wait a second. Isn't it Sunday? Aren't we having this meeting on a Sunday? And she's like, yes, it is Sunday. And he's like, well, you have dinner with your foster family every Sunday.

[00:09:44] And she's like, you're right. And he's like, get out of here. Go make it to your dinner with your foster family. Anyway, her foster family is a big part of her life. And of this movie franchise. When we talk hearts around the table, the table that we're speaking of is her foster mom's table. They meet up every week and they're very close. She starts working with Andrew, planning the event.

[00:10:12] Tom Redland shows up and doesn't really like the first pitch. She thinks it's a little stuffy. Violins, fancy, get out of here. And he's like, you know what? If this is the best you got, we're going to go with someone else. And that is when Jenna pivots, pivot, and comes up with a brand new thing right on the fly. And he's like, all right, let's do it. Let's do this thing. So Jenna and Andrew, they're working together. They're planning the event. They're starting to hang out some more. It's going great.

[00:10:42] Sparks, they're beginning to fly. But then Tom calls Jenna and is like, we should meet up Friday night. I will send you private car, which will take you to private jet, which will take you to private vineyard for dinner. Andrew finds this out and he gets red flag jealous. He is very upset about this.

[00:11:08] And he goes and he's just pumping iron, you know, as we do, me and Brian all the time. Crush those 25 pounders. That's exactly right. But sometimes you just got to power through for the sake of the call, for the sake of the good of others. For the sake of the call. That's exactly right, Dan. And so they continue to work together. No other reason at all. He ends up coming over for Sunday night dinner. And it's it's everything's going well.

[00:11:35] Jenna's youngest foster brother goes missing. They find them. He was a little bit nervous. So you got a bad grade. So as you run away, it's time for the party, everybody. The party is a big hit. Everybody's wearing white. So that's fun. And there is just not true. A lot of both people were in white early on. A lot of wider. Most people were in white. Some people didn't get the memo.

[00:12:05] Anyway, it is the party's a big hit. She tells Tom that she's just not that into him. And he's like, have you heard I'm a billionaire? She says, that's not what it's about for me. And then she finds Andrew. Andrew finally shoots his shot. And they end up kissing. And they're going to have many more hearts around the table dinners forever. And that my friends was hearts around the table. Collegiate for her love. We're rocking. We got it.

[00:12:35] It's only been a couple of days, but we're rocking. A couple of days. Let's take a break. We'll come back. We'll get to this movie. We'll break it down. We'll show our hot takes. And so much more here on. Deck the hallmark. That was a weird pause by you. I'll speed that up in post. 1,500 episodes of you going here on deck the hallmark. And this time you went here on. Deck the hallmark. Give it an extra beat. Just trying something new. He's trying something new. Watch my lips. He's evolving.

[00:13:04] Don't just. No. I'm not. Watch my lips. No, thank you. It's time for the hot take. Thank you. I've been. I've been. This. Skin Mason. Yeah. Same here. That was my understanding. That's the whole past. Skin Mason stuff is good stuff. They're not paying us. It's good stuff. I use that too now. I gotta be honest though. It was so expensive. I need to text our boy Andrew to see if we can. Get a promo code. So I can keep it going. You know. Yeah. Maybe.

[00:13:33] Maybe if you float us some product. We'll float you an ad. Maybe. Maybe. Hearts around the table. Colon. Jen is first love. This is what we're talking about today. The first of four hearts that are around that table. There's more than that around the table just by pure biology. But yes. The four that we're going to cover. Correct. It's time for the hot take. It's where we share our thoughts on who we do. You don't hold back. I'll start with you, Brian. Brian, what'd you think about the hearts that were around that table? Hearts around that table. Well, the hearts in the bodies of the people around the table. They're great. Yeah. People are great. You think they're all good cardiovascularly? Yeah.

[00:14:03] I think everyone's doing good. Good, good, good. The movie itself as a whole though. Just okay. Unfortunately for me. Man, that is damning. Just crossing the line of okay. That is damning. Just okay for Brian. Bury it. Sheesh. I had such a hard time settling into this one. Just not knowing what the deal was with everybody. And I was kind of like, Yeah, what's the deal with this? Hey, what's the deal with this? What's the deal with this family? What's going on here? What's everybody's deal? And we got the answers. Obviously, we got the information, but it was just, I was, I don't know.

[00:14:31] up the creek a little bit at first. It was hard to settle in for me. And so it started on rocky ground. I feel like it hit its stride when Andrew went to the family dinner. And it was kind of funny. They were giving him a hard time. There were some actual funnies there. I was enjoying that. And when there was the triangle kind of going on, I feel like it was a good time. That was a good time. A lot of inclusion here, which was cool. A lot of different backgrounds and storylines. So I look

[00:15:00] forward to hearing some of that stuff going forward. I feel like maybe we're easing in to this series. That's my hope. With the heavy hitters. We're easing in with Steve London and Ashley Newbro. You know what I did like in this that I was bummed they didn't keep doing was the group text. I feel like that's a cool thing. Especially since we got three more of these. We got a family that's coming together. A group text throughout the movie is a cool idea. They did very little of a group text chat. So I'm looking forward to more of that.

[00:15:30] So yeah, that's that's my hot take there. Fair. I liked it. I like to buy and large. I really liked our guy Brady from the way home coming in doing his thing. He's a billionaire. He's fancy. He's got his stuff. I agree. I thought love triangle stuff was the strongest that this movie got. And I'm just by and large pretty intrigued to see where this series go. I think we got a lot of

[00:15:59] good characters, a lot of quality actors to come. And I'm excited to see where this where this goes. Because I think overall general premise this family these kids from you know that grew up together in this this foster mom's house house and they're really close and they have that commonality and that's the thing that kind of brings them together and they're they're they're for each other. I think all of that's really great. And I'm

[00:16:28] hopeful that the rest of this series is going to continue to to be quality because I think that this was a good start a good starting point for where we're going the next few weeks. Dano? Yeah. So to get this out of the way this movie is really bad like just from a standpoint of like you just miss the budget of a Hallmark production. I mean there's only so much that can be done by the actors or even the director or the script writer when you have just scenes and just giant

[00:16:57] empty rooms with like one table or like it's supposed to be an office like you have to really even more than a Hallmark movie you have to really be willing to do the legwork of imagining what this movie is supposed to be. It does not meet the benchmark of movie. Like it really does I don't know how else to explain that like it is as low budget or as just cheaply made as these movies kind of come on Hallmark. We see this with some of the

[00:17:27] very like deep cuts sometimes we watch like a unicorn movie with Alonzo that was pretty low budget. This is very low. A 2B if you will. If you will. The little bit that I know about these movies I would say that this movie was made for under a million dollars. It was made for very little and it's unfortunate. There is just a lot of dead air in this movie. I like the idea of this woman who fostered all of these teenagers like all of these

[00:17:56] like as a foster parent and adoptive parents you know guys there is a need for teenagers who are in the system who desperately want a family I love the idea that this woman has created this family by adopting teenagers or nope I'm sorry she doesn't adopt any of them she fosters them only which is it was weird I know some teenagers don't want to change their last name and don't want that but the idea of a woman that's fostered

[00:18:26] all of these kids that are now grown up and they come back and eat dinner every Sunday night great idea great idea I don't think I don't think it's executed particularly well I think it's very very clean and easy and everyone's so attractive and it just seems like something that's a movie it doesn't seem like real life at all I like the idea of it I like the idea of the love triangle but what's on screen and how it's portrayed doesn't gel it doesn't really work it doesn't none of it feels

[00:18:56] authentic at all so inauthentic and bad here we are yeah Ashley Newbro we love her Steve Lund still to the earth Steve Lund Jake Epstein coming up come on there's plenty of great actors it just very low budget and it doesn't none of it feels authentic and that's unfortunate so there you have it let's get all the feels we're talking about what in this movie gave us feels Brian

[00:19:26] yeah a real clear one from the very start very early in this movie Josh was helping out in the kitchen cleaning out the lettuce using a salad spinner and I freaking love those salad spinners it's one of my favorite kitchen device slash utensils tell me about it you load up and you press the button down after you've soaked your lettuce and you just crank that thing a couple times and that just gets all the water it spins the lettuce throws the water off then you dump out the water you got your lettuce nice and crunchy yeah

[00:19:55] oh man now what makes that more like better than just you know soaking it it's water it's water distribution it's the what Dan said yeah the distribution of the water it gets the water off of it yeah but you can paper towel that joint yeah but that's not good for the environment lettuce doesn't taste like much brain it's about texture right so this spinning really makes sure we get a and it's a great like a good place for the lettuce like it's a container as well like you know

[00:20:25] you don't have to move it all around all over the place it's like a one-stop shop so really love seeing that that sells well I mean I had to let a spinner down here so this is tough for me sorry man I thought you might no I mean listen it is what it is I've never had a I'm not a big wine drinker right I'm not a big wine drinker my wife's a big wine drinker you're a wine sugar I'm a wine sugar that's exactly what I was but like pretty like cool

[00:20:55] first date not date right like can you imagine this scenario yeah like hey I'm gonna have a car come pick you up and then next thing you know you're in a private jet next thing you know you're at a vineyard that no one else is out and you have a private dinner with that person that's a pretty billionaire move and it's a pretty billionaire move listen Tom is his name Tom Tom yeah Tom if you're listening like I like call a brother

[00:21:23] like I'd love to go and have dinner with you at the vineyard that's not a big wine drinker are you soliciting a fictional character to take you on a date I'm open to it yeah that's what I'm saying like I think that's like that was a pretty like I don't think it got enough like that's pretty BA like that was a very boss move she couldn't be less impressed yeah it was a way what for me because she couldn't be less impressed with I'm gonna send a car for you at 6 private jet

[00:21:53] at 630 yeah wine country by 730 yeah I've never seen anyone less impressed and I'm not look maybe she's just not into him at all but yeah she is put out by this she's just like I can't believe this is like whatever like can we get I'm just trying to get work done call me call me an easy boy but like I would be very impressed yeah I'd be very impressed with somebody who not only like sends a cool car but also car to private jet

[00:22:23] to private vineyards it's impressive yeah it's an impressive move and so you know game recognized game and I just wanted to shout out my boy Tom I mean I would be remiss fictional character Tom hit him up if you're listening fictional character Tom I'd be remiss if I didn't mention salad spinner feels I think we all had them thanks Brian for doing such a good job with that I my feels were the idea of this movie

[00:22:52] I love the idea of I don't think it was executed well at all but I love the idea of letting people have their own identity and still be a part of your family and as they get older celebrating them for their identity and not trying to make them yours your property I thought that was a beautiful idea and I don't think it's prevalent nearly prevalent enough in the United States or in Canada where this was clearly filmed but I like that

[00:23:22] idea like it was great I thought I had I really did have very strong heart feels for that idea even though in this movie it doesn't look or sound or act the way that it should how about her house though how about that house gorgeous you know what I looked you know from the outside at least six seven bedrooms probably I can't believe she had room for one foster kid at a time we'll be right back having a good

[00:23:52] time I think we're having fun yeah let's get to the way it was so we're talking about what in this particular film made us go away what I'll start with you Brian yeah in the in the middle of her presentation to Tom the CEO there the video cut away did you guys see this cut away from her presentation to a shot of the outside

[00:24:22] of the building I did not see that it just faded right back into the presentation so it's almost like you forgot where you were yeah so just real quick out of nowhere so maybe that's a good presentation tactic that I just haven't been using all these years head outside real quick that's right establish the building that's the key right there well boundaries I feel like work boundaries can be good like one job where I feel like they're

[00:24:51] super wishy washy is event planning yes how are you you can't yes if you're doing I mean events are happening Saturday night Sunday night your job you know we're you know I've been doing a lot with a realtor lately and that's like there are some jobs where it's like this has to be done yeah and morning a Friday night like that's gonna happen yeah so it was

[00:25:21] just I get the idea I like that but also it's a weird weird place to insert that for party planner she danced with Tom with I guess holding her phone because she ran out of that private little cafe without her bag but could take a phone call so she was I didn't with Tom she's dancing with herself maybe which I hear are great we love pocketed dress so that was just I don't know weird weird

[00:25:51] move that was it okay I got a few guys we have to acknowledge the fact that every foster child that this woman gets is smoking hot like all of the kids when they come around the table when they all come around the table it's hard not to be like why is everybody so hot per capita this is a very impressive house great yes and I don't know if there's something

[00:26:21] nefarious going on there I hope not but this family this woman only what do you think do you think she's lining up all the orphans I've told you my theory and I'll get if you want me to get to it now handpicking that one's coming home my thought she lives in a very nice house she does right she lives in a very nice house maybe she her thought process is I'm only going to get the cream of the crop when it comes to foster kids in hopes that one day they pay it forward

[00:26:51] to me that is the most terrible thing I've ever heard in my life I know I couldn't stop thinking about it in this movie though I couldn't stop thinking about it I loved in this movie they have a video call going on and when one of them hangs up the video call you hear a dial tone it's the best I love that you know how that happens classic dial tone you know I was thinking while I was watching this movie there's one thing that would make this movie perfect and it's walkie talkies and thank god we get them we get walkie talkies in this movie

[00:27:20] I didn't see it coming I don't know if they were necessary they each had one they each had one that never happens everybody had a walkie talkie that needed a walkie talkie and I loved that I didn't see it coming and I loved it I loved when Tom at the party Tom goes up to Andrew and is like hey I gotta talk to you let's walk over here and as they start walking away he's like I gotta tell you some stuff I gotta tell you some stuff I gotta say something

[00:27:50] while we're walking and so I'm gonna say this I gotta tell you some stuff and then we've seen a lot over the years of stages with microphones that aren't plugged in oh this was and I always am one to shout it out this was a first that I've seen a full soundboard on stage nothing plugged in all the plugs just empty nothing is there and so shout out to that at least we got a board and that's fun but no chords

[00:28:19] to be found the future is now Dan yeah so what's her is it Angie Angie's the foster mom here I think so more than a little bit of suspicion around Angie as a character I'm not gonna go where Brandon where she gets the kids in a lineup but I will say it's bring in five of your best let me pick it's very weird we are to assume that I think Ashley Newborough and Jake Epstein may have been in the house together but the rest of them are spread out in age to where she basically

[00:28:48] takes one foster kid at a time her house is limited her house is a mansion listen when I fostered twins and we have a 1400 square foot house and when they come to do your home inspection they looked at us and were like are you sure you can't take one or two more the idea that Angie which doing more than most by fostering one has that mansion and A only takes one foster kid and B cannot afford a laptop for the kid is crazy

[00:29:18] later in the movie he's like man if only I had a laptop for school I'd be better at projects and grades and it's like the state pays you like that woman has a just a full mansion and cannot get a laptop for this kid is just crazy it's crazy town and I couldn't I was just trying to process what was happening in this movie at least here like every kid has a Chromebook like if you like you have you're issued a Chromebook yeah because they

[00:29:48] don't want this situation where some kids can't afford a laptop one of my like absolute heroes as a human being is a guy named Greg Nybert who was a college basketball coach for 30 years and he fostered over 100 kids in 30 years and he like he didn't have what Angie has and I'm just telling you like one of the rules of that is like you just provide for kids the basic necessities of their academic education like Angie is doing like meals with like bruschetta

[00:30:17] it's like I can't there's nothing I can do it's a laptop my hands are tied here Hallmark is incapable of finding small houses it's crazy for people that you know yeah like it doesn't make sense for her to have a mansion but like the story is more beautiful if it's messy I think that is and that could have been my like dude this stuff's messy and that's what makes life so awesome if she has hearts around the table on Sunday night and that table is 15 feet long and any 10 of her 30 foster

[00:30:47] kids over the last 20 years come that's that's what it's like and maybe you gotta go get one who's in trouble or maybe somebody's bringing a friend that is that is what we're missing one of them's ugly five attractive people at a table who are all successful professionals like it just none of it feels like the thing that makes foster care and adoption so incredibly meaningful and great and so that's and she's also not buying a laptop it's like you're at the bake sale every

[00:31:17] year you're at the bta every year buy the kid a laptop there's some classic just like bad bad movie making in here you pointed out the one where the powerpoint briefly goes to a picture of the outside the building you point out the one where the dial tone happens there's a scene and you need to go back find it on go to philo.tv slash dgh get hallmark plus added to it the second time steve lunn is working out with his trainer he's doing curls and he's just when he finds out that she went on that day with he's going hard on the curls

[00:31:47] just real hard they're doing this thing where they go shot shot they go him close up trainer close up it's him trainer him trainer back and forth the third time he's wearing a black t-shirt the third time it goes to him he's wearing a silver chain first two times he's not no chain no chain chain silver chain they go back to the trainer back to him no chain never see that chain again never see it again it is we rewound it several times we couldn't

[00:32:16] believe what we were seeing like what take was that when did you stop and go let me add the chain because everything they used was no chain aside from one scene I imagine chain was first take and then they caught it and they said hey we gotta get rid of the chain and then somehow one of it made it in there still it was the best shot best whatever best pump best pump he was getting some good pumps that guy has no bad pumps no no no yeah of course this and I'm listen if you're not watching on

[00:32:46] on filo this office space in a high floor building that they're using is hysterical it's one table they're not even trying to make it look real out of those windows it's the green screens kind they may have painted on the windows it is so embarrassing and I think this movie takes place in Washington D.C. yeah that's right D.C. where she finds an office space similar to that for two thousand dollars a month that's great yeah

[00:33:16] yeah that's amazing good deal you can't find that in downtown Greenville Washington D.C. for two grand a month everybody's leaving D.C. D.C. it's not a big yeah no no at one point the youngest foster kid runs away from home and they find him thank God fully dressed in his fit for school at a bus stop in the middle of the grass there is no normally bus stops are on the curb you know where the

[00:33:45] bus would come and pick you up where the bus stops that's what's called a bus stop this bus stop is just in the middle he thinks it's a fake bus stop is all it is just a bench that's you know just a bench memorial bench yeah on the grass with Steve Lund Jake Epstein is trying to recruit this kid to play track and he says you've already broken three speed records I don't know

[00:34:15] first of all I'm I don't know how you say it I know it's not that and second of all he doesn't run track what do you mean you've already broken three speed records you've already broken three speed records does he have like a is he driving he's playing spy hunter on the NES he just sits out

[00:34:54] is that it aside for what the hallmark is we wonder what could have been maybe having to clear any questions we still have what are we still wondering about that's what we're going to find out right yeah mine was mostly around the logistics in her home office and she she's got a coffee maker like a coffee station in her office room which makes no sense to me and thank god she's gonna spend two thousand dollars a month with that office space right yeah I was irrationally annoyed by her bookshelf behind it like I'm not a reader

[00:35:24] but you need more books on that fill that thing up fill that up with books it looks so cool yeah bookcase scape that thing like make it look great just what if you're in a room that doesn't have water you gotta leave to go get water for the coffee maker like why have your coffee maker away from where the water it just drove me nuts like every time she wants to fill up that coffee maker she's leaving the room coming back into the room leaving that room like you gotta go to the kitchen anyway just move it to the kitchen where it belongs maybe she can ask if her foster mom can spring for a

[00:35:53] better coffee maker for she's hoping somebody notices what a piece of junk put a second on that house or something why are we doing that so that was pretty much it I don't know that took me out I wasn't expecting it you didn't have coffee maker no I didn't have coffee maker yeah listen I'm excited to see where this goes I'm also excited you know we don't have a movie set aside for the youngest whose name

[00:36:23] currently being correct foster Rory we don't have a movie for him but I feel like we already got a little bit of an arc for Rory and I'm you know interested to see how much more time we get for Rory because I do think he's an interesting part of this whole thing and I felt like they arced him pretty quickly we got three more movies left he's already ran away and so it's a quick arc ran away came back happy let's have dinner and so what are we going to do with Rory

[00:36:53] how's Rory going to play on these next three movies we're going to find out obviously that's one of the nice things about doing this we're probably going to find out what happens to him but I gotta be honest with you guys I don't really need it from you right now what's going to happen with Rory let's find out Dan so mine is kind of related that it's not directly about Rory and his quark but it's oh my gosh oh the bridge said something goofy oh my gosh

[00:37:22] it's the fact that clearly these four movies unlike the love club don't take place kind of overlapping there's a there's a as far as we know sequential like there's no way because the dinners would have included some of their like if this was the unwrapping movies or the love club movies we'd have seen some of the like Jake Epstein's significant other at a dinner so I think this one really is first it takes place first and then the next one takes place second you can't watch them in any order like love club or unwrapping and so

[00:37:52] that's my what the hallmark I have no thoughts on love club moms except I'm mad already that's what I got I'm just interesting to see if they hold to that or if they go back and try to make these things you know interweaved instead of sequential that's all I got what was missing was a little tie on at the end that they gave no thought to like the royal yeah like the royal movies that's what we needed for sure time all in I think it would have been really nice oh we did everybody congratulations it's time for double decker of the week it's where we dive deep into the life of a

[00:38:21] double decker Brian you do that deep dive of somebody who has signed up for Bramble Gym Plus at bramblegymplus.com we would love for you to join us you get all sorts of fun goodies it's a way that you can support us so we can continue to do this thing that we do if you like us please do that Dan who do we have today we have Lisa Iannucci Lisa Iannucci Lisa Lisa's been a double decker for a little while now wrote a very nice piece about us

[00:38:50] she's a writer she's a journalist she writes she actually getting it if my research is accurate here she's getting into something that I'm going to really appreciate and so she's starting sort of like a little side gig she can write while she does it still which is great great she's kind of driving around providing warmth to people who are like a little chilly once in a while which I mean me how do you how does she know how does she know like a blanket a space heater like get in the car

[00:39:20] like what is it it's more like you pop into the van and you just kind of warm up she drives a van around to be clear she drives around she finds people outside that she thinks looks chilly she opens the door and says get in get on in I was sitting in the seat I warmed it up for you just pop on down and warm yourself up which you know I mean you guys aren't cold all the time so this is a really cool cool thing she just warms up the seat like this yeah it's sort of like

[00:39:50] you sit in a seat somebody was in it's nice and warm for you okay so she's doing that and does she have an LLC she's got a business it's a DBA at this point what's it called it's called mobile hotspot that's really good that's really good yeah it might be your best one that's really good that's why we do this right here yeah yeah one in three hundred mobile hotspot it's pretty affordable too so how much is it oh it's just

[00:40:19] it just costs a little data that's all he's ruining it this is him live ruining it you ready what do you mean it just costs a little data you're just gonna call Lisa data no you're gonna call Lisa data fired what you're doing so well let's just quark this right up here you got a weird quark Lisa picks you up you sit in the mobile hotspot but on one condition

[00:40:48] one and one only you call her data give her data give her your data that's all that's all that's all it takes no what if you don't call her data can you pay with money not yet if you're not comfortable unfortunately not yet Lisa's gotta really get that get that going how quickly so you get in there you sit down and she says call me data call me data or get out basically yeah yeah though you get a little warm you get a little teaser that is a little

[00:41:18] tease yeah Lisa I'm sorry please continue to support us I hate this Lisa should we say data a great idea I gotta say we'll work it like just maybe take money I think it will really take off a really good idea mobile hotspot mobile hotspot sign up brainwildjamplus.com we would love to have you it would mean a lot if you would support us and some people have been listening to us for a long time they've been considering it and every once in a while
