Shari just landed at the airport, home from globetrotting, and none of her foster siblings are there to pick her up—except… PRANK TV! They’re all there to greet her.
It's been a tough couple of months for Shari, and she's still moving on from her ex. Then, she gets word that she’s been approved for a studio at an artist co-op. She goes to check it out and bumps into handyman Evan—and boy, is he something. He takes her to the nearest art supply store, and off they go—hanging out nonstop, talking about art, showing him her art, eating pizza. Sparks are flyinggggggg.
But her marriage did end, and she’s not sure if she’s ready to date. Still, they keep hanging out, and she starts helping him track down an old painting by his grandmother. She finds one at an auction, but they get outbid, and Evan is real sad.
Then, Shari's ex-husband calls, saying, I miss you, and she’s like, Don’t even.
Meanwhile, there’s a subplot about Josh, who’s getting his own movie next week… so, I dunno.
Evan gets a job offer that would take him far away, and he's like, You could ask me to stay, but she’s like, I dunno, man, I just got a divorce.
But then—he does end up staying! And she’s like, I love you, you’re my muse and inspiration. And they kiss.
She eventually finds him a painting by his grandma, they show it to her, and she loves it. And they decide to work on the artist co-op project together.
[00:00:01] Hi, I'm Brandon. I love Hallmark table movies. I'm Brian. I like Hallmark table movies. Dan and I despise Hallmark table movies. And this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast. Deck The Hallmark. It's this podcast. Friends host this podcast. We hope you like this jolly podcast. Hi, everybody. How are we? Great, Brian. Thanks, Brian. Great to be around.
[00:00:39] We'll be here. Guys, you won't believe what happened to me on the way to work today. What's wild is I took you to work today, so I'm fascinated by what's going to happen. What happened to me on the way to work today is I was driving along and all of a sudden, oh, there's someone there. So you had to swerve. And then you guys have seen NASCAR, right? Sure have.
[00:01:06] We've been rubbing you a race. You know, when you are watching NASCAR and there's a big old pileup. Sure do. Yeah, that happened down the road. I was driving. Okay. And all of a sudden pile up behind me, but it's all candy bars. Wait a second. April Fool's. You fell for the old candy bar. I was ready to run out of here. That's cruel. It's April Fool's Day. It's April 1st. I am
[00:01:36] That's on me. I should have seen it coming. It's April Fool's Day. I really was confused there. I was worried about this chocolate bar. I know. Those are good ones. They're going to get wet out there. They fell for it. Sure did. Good one, Brett. Guys, let's talk about the second Hearts Around the Table movie. Is it another April Fool's joke? No. No, it's not. Hearts Around the Table. Sherry's. Berries. Second act. Shari's. Shari's. Shari's. Second talked. You got us. If you're going to do it, Shari's.
[00:02:03] That's the thing. If you name a company Sherry's Berries, you can't say Shari's. Shari's Barries. Shari's Barries. Shari's Barries. That's how they say it in Europe. That's right. I wish I should have had the forethought to reach out to Sherry's Berries for a sponsorship for today's episode. Sherry's Berries. Sherry's Berries. Can we retroactively do it anyway? We'll see what we can do. This episode is sponsored by Sherry's Berries.
[00:02:31] Shout out to Sherry's Berries for promo code DEC. These are delicious. Have you had this one, Dan? What was amazing about Sherry's Berries is they gave us more money than any sponsor ever before. That's right. New record. $10. Yes. They said, can we give you all of our money and you guys can run Sherry's Berries? And we said, sure. Yeah. I'd love to run Sherry's Berries. That's a great offer. That's a pretty good offer. Sherry's Berries. That's exactly right. Hearts on fire.
[00:02:59] So Sherry's, does Sherry's Berries do the same thing as edible arrangements? I don't, I gotta be honest. I'm doing, I'm doing a whole thing with you guys. This is the first I've heard of Sherry's Berries. Really? It's Sherry's. Sherry's Berries. I've only ever heard of edible arrangements. I feel like you guys have had them as an advertiser before, no? No, we've never had Sherry's. I would remember that. Hop into a sweet Easter. Oh, look at all those fun Easter. I mean, you gotta have competition. So do they do anything other than strawberries? I mean, I see a big Easter sign.
[00:03:29] I don't see any crosses there, so I don't know what's going on. Is that a donut? These are a lot of strawberries. Fun cake. Strawberries. There's some flowers. Cheesecake bites. Mmm. Okay. All barries. Long story short. Strawberries. Strawberries. For all your Easter needs. For all your Easter needs. Sherry's Berries. They're missing out on blue? And you can actually go to berries.com. They somehow secured berries.com. They got berries.com. That's a good get. Man, could be worth something.
[00:03:59] That's pretty big for Sherry's Berries. That's huge for Sherry's Berries. They did not get berries.com. Should we grab berries.com real quick? Are we ready to dive in? Yeah, man. Hearts are on the table. Woo! Okay. You can't call them that. So who's the knockoff? Sherry's Berries or Edible Rangers? Scroll that real quick. Scroll that to the very bottom. Who owns this company? 1-800-Flowers owns this company. Okay. Go to Edible Arrangements for me, Aaron. Yeah, baby.
[00:04:29] So 1-800-Flowers own Sherry's Berries. Okay. They're trying to make it seem a lot more like downhill. If they both are owned by the same company, I think we should file some type of petition somewhere. I don't know what is happening. I don't love that. Let's see that again real slow. No thanks. Guys, for those of you who know that, can't see which is everybody. No thank you. This guy's dipping the barry real slow. Okay. Go all the way to the bottom. I'm owned by Edible Arrangements. Okay. So they own their own company. So 1-800-Flowers is out to like... They're a big barry. Yeah.
[00:04:58] They're a big barry. Yeah. So Edible Arrangements is more like the... The mom and pop. You should order from Edible Arrangements, not Sherry's Berries. And I know that they did sponsor us and they gave us all their money. I'm telling you to go with a different company. Can they give us $11? Guys, it's like in Miracle and Slit 34th Street, which Santa tells the people to go to the other store to get the toys. It's just like that. It's just like that. We are Santa. We're Santa. We're the Santa of berries is what you need to know. Santa of berries. Santa of berries. Santa of berries.
[00:05:27] Parts Around the Table originally aired on... I'm sorry. This episode is going to be locked in. It's a good thing we're not trying to record two weeks worth of stuff this week. And we... Yeah. Yeah. Sherry's second act originally aired on March 29th, 2025 on the Hallmark Channel. One of those stuff like this. Shari just landed at the airport home from globetrotting and getting a divorce. Who's going to pick her up, Bran? Well, none of the foster siblings are there to pick her up. Oh, meanies. Except...
[00:05:56] Prank TV! They're all there! Oh. Big prank TV situation. April Fool's joke. April Fool's. We're here to pick you up. You don't have to Uber. It's been a tough couple of months for Shari. And she's still moving on from her ex. Then she gets word that she's been approved for a studio at the Artist Co-op. Ooh. It's pretty exciting. She goes to check it out and bumps into handyman Evan.
[00:06:25] And boy, is Evan something. I tell you what. He takes her to the nearest art supply store. And off they go. Hanging out nonstop. Talking about art. Showing him her art. Showing her his grandma's art. Eating pizza. Guys, the sparks are flying between these two. But her marriage did end. That's a terrible way to read that. But her marriage did end.
[00:06:54] And she's not... We'll forget about that. And she's not sure if she's ready to date yet. Right. Still, they keep hanging out. And she starts helping him track... She starts helping him track down an old painting by his grandmother. Because he just wants... You know, wants to... You know, to find it for her. She finds one at an auction. But they get outbid. Evan's big sad about it. Then Shari's ex-husband calls saying,
[00:07:23] Hey, I miss you. You up? And she's like, Don't even right now. Back off. We're over. We're Splits Town, USA. Meanwhile, there's a subplot in this movie about Josh, who's getting his own movie next week. Yeah. He needs to leave this movie, too. I don't really know what that was about. Evan gets a job offer that's going to take him away. And he's like, You could ask me to stay if you want to. But she's like, I don't know.
[00:07:52] Again, I just got a divorce. Yeah, I don't know if you heard. I did get a divorce. But then he does end up staying. And she's like, I love you. You are my muse and my inspiration. It escalates so quickly. And then they kiss. And eventually, she shows him that she did find a painting by his grandma. They show it to her. She loves it. And they are going to work on the artist co-op project thing together. And that, my friends, was
[00:08:20] Hearts Around the Table. Call it. Call it. Call it. Call it. Call it. Call it. Call it. Well, let's take a break, everybody. We'll take a break. We'll come back and we'll break this movie down some more. Here on. Get the Hallmark. Welcome back, everybody. I hope you're doing well. I know I am. You bet.
[00:08:50] Really excited today to be talking about Sherry's second act. It's a big deal for us. And a big deal for you at home. Let's get to the hot take. It's where we share exactly how we felt about this movie. Dan's already yawning. I'm sorry, guys. My brain is fried. You don't know how much mindless inane TV I've watched this morning. So much. I can't wait to hear about it. Oh, my God. Five hours worth. This is where we break down this movie. We share our thoughts on it and all that good stuff. The hot take. Brian, give us your hottest of takes about this movie. Okay.
[00:09:20] I was going to go mild, but I'll spice it up. Please do. I didn't believe for one second Evan was moving to San Francisco. No. I don't. Not even. He didn't even. No. I feel like he even smirked when he was saying it. Like, I just didn't buy it at all. It was sort of like, why are we doing this? Overall, this one was just like, eh. Damn. Like a real strongly worded, eh. Man, a strongly worded, eh, from bra guy. That is not great. Not great. It's a zero of 10 out there, gang.
[00:09:44] It was like, it felt slower and incredibly fast at the same time. Like things happened so fast in like the timeline. They were all cramped together, but the movie just moved very slow. It was like little things happening. Like, I don't know. It was just such a weird thing. And it was, I didn't enjoy it so much. I had a ton of weight watts. I had to trim it way down. Like, I'm not going to have time for all this stuff. And I found myself wanting more than usual,
[00:10:11] wanting some background artists, actors, and like something else going on in the scene. It was like so bare. Like they were just- It's like a movie film during COVID. Yeah, very much so. And they're like, we have this giant old mill building. Supposedly it's like an artist co-op where there's a lot of activity, but there's just nothing going on. Like, who's he renovating this for? So it was just, it felt very like empty. Maybe that's why it was moving so slow. There was like nothing going on in the scene.
[00:10:40] So I just wasn't very, also it wasn't like super clear on what an artist co-op was. And they didn't do a lot to- The rent's great. I know that. It got that from it. Yeah, the rent is great. We know that much. So using context clues, I think I figured it out. Yeah. I fully understand. It's a super nicely renovated old mill building that you inherit. That's right. And then it's, you get to rent it to one person at a time. And that's what I gathered about co-ops. Yeah. And I don't know, they seem pretty great. I don't know what the problem is. So yeah,
[00:11:10] it was just okay for me, this one. It's not, it was, it's not my favorite one of these in the series. Wow. And the last one you weren't exactly raving about. Yeah. There's that. Brian, you were raving about the last one. I was raving about the last one and I'll continue to rave about that one because I won't be raving about this one. This one was just an okay for me. Um, I agree with a lot of what Brian said. It felt like we started off really strong and really quick. And then we were like, Oh, we did it. We did the whole thing.
[00:11:39] So now what do we do? And it was a lot of just like meandering around and, uh, like, Hey, uh, you should get into art. Okay. I'm, I'm back at the art game. Hey, let's find my grandma's art. Like it was all just kind of like, it felt like when they first met, great, me, cute, great, uh, sizzle like the two together, but then it just kind of meandered for a while, unfortunately.
[00:12:06] And so it won't be my favorite of the series. Uh, but it was fine. I wasn't like, what a mad at it, but it was, it was just a fine for me, Dano. Yeah. I mean, if you hear strongly worded F from Bri and just fine from brand, you can imagine where I'm sitting here and there's no need to go too hard here. I think, you know, impact and intent are different. I think this movie and this series means well. And I do want to, I'll say this every one of these, I'm going to start with the movie does mean well,
[00:12:33] the idea of this matriarch that fosters kids from all across the spectrum at different ages and different places in life and brings them around one table and treats them all as equals is awesome. Um, that is not the impact of these movies because they are so poorly made. Um, it is, this is a brutal movie. It, there's no chemistry. There's nothing happening. In fact, there's so little going on with this movie that we get a Jake Epstein plot line
[00:13:02] that lasts 15, 20 minutes of the runtime of this movie. Um, I honestly could not have cared less. And the, the new bro, Steve Lund is bogey, but call level, uh, chemistry compared to what we have here. Tough watch, tough watch all the way around. Unfortunate. And say what you will about the love club, at least the intersecting like narratives. Oh, give, give that something that this doesn't have. We're,
[00:13:31] we were even questioning when this takes place in relation to the last movie. That's a big question. Um, there's no reason. They're just, they don't do enough to make this necessary. It just isn't necessary. Tough watch. One of the worst of the year. And we have had some bad ones. So hate it, hate it for all involved. Hate it for all involved says Dan, I guess as to all the feels where we talk about what in this movie gave us feels, right? Yeah. We have a, another salad spinner sighting,
[00:14:01] thankfully in this one, uh, they didn't use it. They didn't pull it out. Brian, like he thinks he's got, I don't know. Like he can't go viral. It's just, it's just who I am. It's the salad spinners in the background. If you guys aren't members of Bramble Jam plus to the double decker community, you would have seen a Brian accidentally didn't post to his only fans and posted to, to Facebook, him using a salad spinner. Uh, and, and, and it was something. Facebook flagged it. And they're not even doing that anymore.
[00:14:30] It was the combination of the pumping and the face that you made. I can't help. That's how you do it. That's how you do it. You take your shirt off, you pump, double pump. That's it. It's a pump, double pump situation. You pour the water over yourself. Yeah. Uh, you do 50 pushups. Oh, but we did have some good cutting board representation. That video made Zuckerberg think to himself. I think I've made up a second. Maybe he made up a second. Let's go back and reinstate everything. Did you hear about, I know this is so off topic. They're suing this guy.
[00:14:59] Zuckerberg Meta is suing this guy on Facebook for how he did ads or something. And he just changed his name to Mark Zuckerberg. Oh, I heard about that. And they dropped all the suits because it would have said such and such is suing Mark Zuckerberg. Yeah. It's not bad. He just legally changed his name to Mark Zuckerberg. And so they literally, they just dropped every suit against him. You can't even really be mad at that. I know. Props to this guy. Did you see the guy who was, uh, he was, uh, not paying invoices. I think he was charging things to Facebook. I think it was, I did hear about this. Oh, love that.
[00:15:27] And it was like over 120 million. They would just pay it. Well, yeah. Yeah. All the invoices. He would just send invoices to Facebook and they pay. Like, what if he had stopped at like 119 million? Yeah. You know, it's tough. One day you get caught. Shout out. Uh, just start a normal amount. Any ideas. Um, what, if people wanted to send us an envoy, what email should they send it to? Brian? Brian, it'll, it'll get, it'll get right in there. Um, what was I going to say? Your feels. my feels. Yes. My feels. Listen,
[00:15:57] this auction scene guys. Uh, I don't know. This is, I mean, you're scraping the bottom of the barrel here. The feels or anything. The auction scene in this movie is the funniest season, uh, funniest scene of the year so far. Yeah. Um, and I loved every second of it. It was, uh, a riot across the board. And I'm sure Dan will get to, uh, a little bit more of this scene in his weight. Well, but no notes. Perfect.
[00:16:27] See Dan. Uh, I mean, he just, he just goes to fives. Uh, no, no, absolutely not. No feel. No. And I, I would love to have them. I mean, I would say this is a great opportunity to, if you're interested in foster care, go and look into it and actually do it. It's a lot of work on your part. They're just not going to give you a kid to, to watch. You have to go and do a lot of work, home checks, background checks, go and do it. It is,
[00:16:53] you will be blessed and enriched and fulfilled far more than any child you bring into your home. Cause that's just how giving works. So go and do that. There's my feels. Do you want your, uh, nevermind. I was going to give you a feels, but maybe I'll save it for the next week because I don't think you'll have a feels for that one. What? No, that's next week. Really good break.
[00:17:23] It's really good. The strong break. The strong break. Uh, hi everybody. Welcome back. We're talking about hearts around the table. It's Shari's second chance. Second act. Uh, second act. Sure. Uh, let's get to the white. So are we talking about what in this movie made us go? Wait, what? Uh, Brian, just a real quick one. Uh, that's David, her ex. He's a diplomat. Did you get a look at this guy? He was just super cool. He's yeah. Super cool. Like,
[00:17:52] I don't know. He didn't look like a diplomat. What a fun. Wait, what? Way cool. Got eyes, bald fade, like curls. Like he looks like, like a royalties kid. Like the kid who just drives around. The Lamborghinis. Uh, anyway, that was not, I was just shocked at how they cast David. Uh, not a fun prank at the airport to pretend you forgot to pick someone up. And then one of the amount of time spent on this prank. Yeah. It was a long bit is absurd. Like for you,
[00:18:23] there's so many things you can do to show someone you appreciate them. Acting like you forgot to pick them up at the airport is just not one of the worst. I, what if she had not gone outside? Yeah. What if she had all her luggage and she was just like, I guess I'll call a cab or I'll wait here. Plans. Yeah. Figure it out. And then you get out there and they're all like that. They're all there. Brutal. That's a brutal prank. Yeah. I'm coming home from overseas with my entire life. Yeah. Got them. That's not the time for that kind of joke. Way downtown. Bang.
[00:18:53] Yeah. We didn't pick you up. We don't love you enough to remember to see you for the first time in ages. It's so mean. It's so stressful. It was, it's the worst. Yeah. We were watching it together and I was like, I felt for it too, because at some point I'm like, yeah, these people would have made sure they picked her up. Yeah. They're all there. We just decided to give you a little shot of it. That's something you can do to just me. Like as someone that doesn't have anxiety about anything. Right.
[00:19:20] But like for your average person with anxiety to tell them, you're not picking them up from the airport and you just casually forgot. And to do a whole three-way call. Yep. Get everybody in. They had to do a three-way call. They're like, no, I didn't remember. You didn't remember. Because with a three-way call, you got to be like a little ways away or else there's going to be audio bleed. Yeah. They put a lot of time into giving her anxiety about having no less than 12 bags full of clothes. She's been globe trotting. Yeah. She's been terrible. Yeah. Awful joke.
[00:19:49] I realize we don't need to see any of her moving into this place, but I kind of would have liked to have seen a little bit of her moving into this co-op. Like all of a sudden. I realize we don't need this, but it would have been nice. A little something. Like maybe the guy pulling the tow truck away, like the little two-wheeler away. Like, Hey, have a nice day. Anything. Two-wheeler. A tow truck. We're moving. We're moving in a couple of weeks. Bri here in the studio. You're not going to be able to tell a difference. Really? Yeah. You're going to think it's the same place. Overnight. You're going to think it's the same place.
[00:20:16] It's just a weird move to just all of a sudden be fully moved in. It just doesn't happen like that. I can't believe the painting went for only $10,000. Like, and how do you show up at an auction with less than 10K cash in your pocket? Are you even trying? Man, spoken like somebody that's done at a time or two. How about the fact that- Have you auctioned? I've never auctioned. Really? Never art auctioned or any auction? Any auction. Silent auction? Can't say. It would-
[00:20:47] Can't do it. It's a first rule about silent auction. Silent auction. We don't talk about silent auction. You have to stay silent or else they leak at all. How about this guy thinks he's going big with 3,500 and the guy three rows behind him is like, I, he held up 5,500 in my head, 5,500, right? 3,500. That's a bump up from 30. He's like, what if I, what if I did 300% the number you made? What, what is- That's how you make moves. Just to, just to make sure. I love that. Like, could I go 5,000 to see what you do? Yeah.
[00:21:17] Why would you do that? What if I just said, let's end this. Yeah. Yeah. Triple it. Catastrophic. Catastrophic. Like, you spend a lot of money you didn't have to spend there. Big time. Well, he doesn't know that, though. He looks at this guy. He's like, that guy has, has money. What was his plan if the guy was like 11,000? He would have kept going. To what? 20, 30? 20, 30. He would have done this. He would have been like, I don't understand. That's an interesting point, though, about numbers and hands.
[00:21:47] That sure is. So, he went, to your point, 5,500. And the auctioneer knew that to be 10,000. 10 big ones, yeah. So, if he wanted to do like a just, just 20, if he wanted to do 20K, would he have to go? Four times? Yeah, exactly. At some point, it's no longer easier. That's my whole point is, is if you wanted 10, back to me, Aaron, if you wanted 10, wouldn't you just go? You would think so. He went 5,500.
[00:22:17] I would think 5,500. The other guy said 3,500. 3,500 is what he said. Yeah. 5,500. That's 5,500. That's a big bump. Maybe they got a history. Maybe it's a little colluding going on. You think so? Maybe they know each other a little too well. What if the auctioneer said, we got 10K, and the guy was like, no. No, we don't. 5,500, sir. International sign for 5,500. Yeah. Bro, somebody in the chat, Lisa in the chat says, Brian's too cheap to auction. You said it, Lisa. I wasn't going to say it out loud, but at least you said it. That's great. We have no idea. That's great. Yeah. You should have heard how much work it took to get him a free cell phone.
[00:22:46] It wasn't that much work. Free cell phone. If you, listen, if you're at home and you are paying, pick a number that you're paying at home for your cell phone service, whatever it is. And I said, Brian, do you want a free phone and for your cell phone bill to be zero? How quickly would you have said yes? Because Brian, it took the better part of an hour. That's not fair. It's a little fair. But it's true. It's kind of, there's work involved in switching your phone, and I don't want to inconvenience anybody, you know?
[00:23:16] You're so sweet. The guy was trying to watch the movie with you. Yeah. I don't want to have him have to do paperwork. Oh, the AT&T guy couldn't believe he was here. He couldn't believe what luck he was in. He texted his wife, said he was watching Hallmark movies early. Screeners. He's going to spoil them for her. Yeah. Long story short, we got the phone plan all settled. Any other way? Brian did finally take free phones for his whole family. And a free plan. Yeah. All right, whatever. Sure. And I appreciate it. Free plan. Zero dollars. Well, I'll pay one way or another. You won't. Sure.
[00:23:46] You're literally not paying any way. You're not going to let me. I'm already paying for it. Yeah. That's true. You've already brought it up. You've already brought it up one time. No, no. You've already embarrassed it. The fact that you didn't immediately say yes means I'm 100. It is, guys, it's adding $5 a month to our cell phone bill here at Bramble Gym, and I'm covering it. I feel bad about that. And I'm going to make sure he hears about it now. It's going to be ruthless. I'm going to put some money into a CD. This just happened two hours ago, too. This is great. In 90 months. You're going to pay.
[00:24:17] I'm going to pay. Here's a check, Daniel. Something moving on. Got him. From this. Here's a check for $10,000. You think you can one-up me with a free phone? I'm playing the long game here. That's right. That's right. I'm going to get you. I don't know when. Well, one thing I noticed when she walked outside. So they're tax-free. That's right. Barry? The one thing I noticed about this airport is that it isn't one. Good observation.
[00:24:47] When she walks outside, it's a business building. It's got like 300 on it, which is like airport. It wasn't the 300 wing of the airport. There's no like, here's where you go for taxi. Here's where you go for whatever. Just one small building with the numbers 300 on it. And that's all you need to know about it. So Kiki's got an interesting arc in this movie.
[00:25:16] And it is pizza related. She has a food truck. Kiki has a food truck. We know that about her. And she's very excited about it. But we find it's a roller coaster guy. So buckle up. We find out that she got a pizza oven for the food truck. This is so confusing. So I find this out and I'm like, well, that's interesting. Usually like food trucks because of the size, they only do one thing.
[00:25:44] Cheese takes, burgers, tacos, nachos. But she says, I got a pizza oven to add to the food truck. And I'm like, well, that's interesting. Like, that's an interesting thing to add because of size and et cetera. Then we find out when we see her food truck later, she's swapped. She's swapped it out. She's doing all pizza. All pizza all the time.
[00:26:10] I can't wait for Kiki's movie in two weeks because Kiki's fascinating. Kiki has a business going on and she scraps it and she says, I'm only doing pizza now. I'm going to add pizza oven and I'm just doing pizza. I found that to be very interesting and also really scratching my head because now that she did all of that, what is there for movie? Sounds like there was a good bit of stuff there that you could have done for movie. But we get it in this movie, which I find to be very interesting. Last but not least, fourth helping coming out.
[00:26:40] Fourth help. That's exactly right, Dan. They go antique shopping and to look for a painting. And he she pulls out this painting of a cat with a pizza. Yep. Guys, that's an AI generated cat with pizza, right? Yes, it is. That's an AI generated cat with pizza. Are we all in agreement that's AI generated cat with pizza? We are all in agreement. I hope not, but probably. I think it's definitely AI generated cat with pizza.
[00:27:10] And I just want to point it out. Looks a lot like an AI generated cat with pizza. So do with that what you will out there. What you'll do with it is say it multiple times. Well, I think they I think what they did was they had an idea for wouldn't it be funny if while they're shopping, there's a painting in this cat with pizza. Yeah. And then they how do you get that? How do we do it? We're up against it. We're up against it. We'll do AI generated cat with pizza. Hope no one notices us. AI generated cat with pizza. When it's clearly AI generated cat with pizza.
[00:27:40] Dan? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um, so an AI generated cat with pizza in a frame is a lot of things. What it is not is an antique. Um, it is true. 100%. Whatever definition you use for antique, it does not include AI generated cat with pizza. Um, a couple of lines in this movie really were tough for me. Uh, yeah, she used to paint portraits, landscapes, all sorts of things. Why? Why?
[00:28:09] I don't like, like, I guess, I guess that's fine. Uh, but this one, I, I repeated this line to brand while watching this movie, no less than a half dozen times. She's on the phone. Whoever's got the food truck, whichever one that is. Clara. Kiki. Steri. Kiki. Got it. Kiki is on the phone and she says, yeah, it's really frustrating. I've already tried 18 different combinations of cheese and don't even get me started on the pepperoni. What are you talking about? Kiki? What?
[00:28:38] You're not, it's not pizza. It's not pizza. It isn't. You have four pizzas on your menu. Mozzarella. That's a good choice. That's cheese. You, you, you can get fancy. The don't even get me started on the pepperoni. Guys, there are only so many possible pepperoni options that you could, and you got a pizza oven and got your truck together before you figured out a recipe.
[00:29:05] Like you should be trying these recipes at home before you take them on the road with you. 18 different combinations of cheese. Kiki, you're overthinking the truck. You're overthinking it. Don't even get you started on the pepperoni. What could possibly there be to talk about there? Gosh darn it. Just get it together. Those are the easy parts. It's a lot of different cheeses. I just, those are the easy parts.
[00:29:34] I feel like you guys want to get along in real life. Like, that's the easy stuff. That's not the hard stuff. That's the fun stuff. Also, your food truck has no power source. It doesn't have a generator. It doesn't have a propane tank. It doesn't have an outlet. You're powering that food truck. You're cooking that pizza on good vibes. That's what you're doing. Thoughts and presents. There's no, yeah, you're slinging pizzas with no power. What you don't know is actually it's cheese powered.
[00:30:04] That's why it took some time. You have to find the perfect formula of cheese in order for it to be powered. It's cheese powered a food truck. Yeah, they're talking about him moving and not moving for the amount of time they've known each other is inappropriate even by Hallmark movie standards. I don't know how long they've known each other, but him making her a part of that decision is crazy. It's just a crazy thing to do. I don't care.
[00:30:32] There wasn't a time jump in this movie. Correct? My brain's fried. I've watched so many. I mean, there is some sort of jump because she's in last movie and then between the end of last movie and this movie, she globetrots and gets a divorce. But she doesn't meet this guy until in this movie after she gets back. Yes. So what I'm saying is, is for him to include her in the decision of him moving or not after knowing her for what? Eight days is crazy. That's a crazy thing to do.
[00:31:00] And Jake Epstein couldn't be trying less to be a track coach. I got a button down shirt on. Hand me a whistle. We're good. That's good. We're all good here. Right? People will get it. Whistle. Like literally, I know two track coaches personally who teach all day and they go down there and some days they just give their kids a list of things to do and they're standing the whole time. They still change clothes just to stand there and look official like a track coach. This guy couldn't be bothered. He's like, well, you got a whistle?
[00:31:30] Great. Sounds good. That's all I got. Let's get to what the homework is where we wonder what could have been. Maybe it's a clear question we still have. What are we still wondering about? That's what this is for, Brian. Yeah. A big thing here was the timeline. Yeah. You know, where does this even fit in? Even at the very end when Sherry introduced Evan to her family, she said he's an electrician, an entrepreneur, a best friend, and a man who truly sees my heart.
[00:31:56] After three days, three dates, and like two fights, this is just so confusing, the timeline here and how fast stuff happened. Yeah. So that really threw me off. What the heck is up with time? Yeah. Is like the general question. What the heck's up with time? That was my big one, and I agree. Like, she ends this movie when he's like, you know, I'm staying, and she's like, great. I love you. Yeah. You're my muse.
[00:32:25] You're my inspiration. Crazy. Crazy. And my other question is like, is she the only person staying at this co-op? Yeah. You mentioned that in your heart. Because it's huge. Gigantic. But like, you know, then there's this open area, and then there's presumably. Presumably. Yes. Presumably. You said it, Fred. A ton of other. Presumably. Studios, right? Indubitably. A ton of others. So I don't know what. I don't know what it is.
[00:32:55] I don't know what they do. I don't know how it works. Dan? Yeah. I mean, let's pretend I've seen the next movie and anything I have. What happens when they break up in two weeks and dude realizes he missed his chance to move? Like, I'm not sitting here to say, like, don't take a chance at love. I'm saying maybe the woman you've known eight days and the job you've wanted your whole life, that maybe there's a little bit more of a weight to be had there. Maybe it's just me. I don't know.
[00:33:25] Maybe. Maybe. Maybe. We did have a break. Congratulations to us. It's a new week with here, Brian. Brian's here. It's time for Double Decker of the Week. It's time for the week. Team of the life of a double decker. It's a new week with here, Brian. Right here we are. Are you Yoda? April Fool's. With your new week, Brian is. What you don't know is I did that on purpose. April Fool's joke. He wrote that down. It's funny. It's a new week with here, Brian.
[00:33:56] It's time for Double Decker of the Week. It's where, Brian, you dive deep into the life of somebody who has signed up for brainwildjamplus.com and kind of spill it on what they're doing. Yeah, absolutely. Who do we have today, Dan? Decker double week this. Yeah. This week's Double Decker. That's funny. Kelly Lawless. Kelly Lawless. Yeah. This week. She's lawless. I don't know if you know that. She doesn't follow the rules. I've heard that about Kelly. Shawry's, Bawry's, Lawless. Call the Laws.
[00:34:27] Kelly out there kind of getting back to basics. Getting back to the basics. You have. We need to get back. It's a variation on the farm-to-table movement where she's kind of like doing it for, like, trying to revolution in gameplay, like playing games. Okay. In like a really, just a big space. Is she gamifying farm-to-table? You could say that's exactly what she's doing. Okay. You could. You could say. Have you heard of it? You would be.
[00:34:57] Perfectly correct. Okay. Great. It's a new thing she's got going is farm-to-tables. And it's two tables. Wide open farm. Fight to the death. It's farm. Farm. It's two tables. That's it. And then they fight to the death. It could get to that. So is it like family feud for dinner? You know, like you sit down across from another family and you all like. Except there's no food.
[00:35:25] This is the only game here is just wild. That's it. Just wild game. You're just going at it. What do you mean you're just going at it? Just whatever the, wherever the game takes you. There are no rules. Now, when you say game, do you mean like in the sense of playing one? Yeah, yeah, you pick a game. Or in the sense of an animal? No, no, no, no. Nothing like that on this farm. Okay. It would be ridiculous.
[00:35:53] So the game takes you. I'm just trying to understand. Yeah. I sit down. You sit down at a table. Dan's family sits out at the other table. And then. You game. Right. I get it. I get that part. But how do you, how does it start? Somebody says game on. Okay. And the game is on. And you're at farm with two tables. And what's the goal? To win the game. How do you win the game? Well, it's really like you decide when you're done.
[00:36:24] What? And if you say we're going to stop. Then you stop. Or you. Rest in peace, obviously. This is as Panda a thing as I've ever heard. So this is farm to table wild game. That's it. It's the double decker of the week this movie deserved. Very interesting. I just, I wish that there was more rules. It's. Yeah. But if you have more rules, it won't be just right. So you can't have. Are you trying?
[00:36:53] Are they trying to kill each other? Some. Some have is what I've seen. And that's one. I mean, that's something you got to work out of the game. You really shouldn't have that in the game. But there are no rules. What are you going to do? There's no rules. Yeah. There's nothing you can do about that. And the game goes until it doesn't anymore. That's it. And then you clean up and you start over. You say game on. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And then you start over. And is there a cost involved? Yeah. Two cows you have to bring. All right, guys. All right.
