[00:01:04] Yellowstone podcast the podcast that's taken over The the stratosphere from what I understand a lot like to show itself every time we gain a following We shut it down the way to do it and then we hope that people want it like when it comes back

[00:01:21] It's just a fever pitch But we have one season left. We only have one season to cover we have four ten episodes Justin so The gaps are all so much like Yellowstone and we say that there's a lot of reasons for it But it's mostly internal fighting

[00:01:41] What you know before We know Justin's deal and then I got upset because I wanted to focus on another documentary podcast I was doing Yeah, this is very specific

[00:01:56] And and so Justin was he wanted to write the whole thing he wanted to write all of my dialogue for me Which also was uh sounds like Justin was weird and so what we've got we've come through a lot Justin

[00:02:08] And I feel like I feel like we're gonna make it Look at us now. Let's look at you now. Absolutely Uh, just so what are your plans for the holiday season? Are you getting to come down to god's country at all? This this holiday season

[00:02:20] Yes, I'm going back to tennessee for the first time since 2019 Wow for christmas So it'll be my my partners first christmas with my family that was the holiday season of the caps correct? Yeah, yes it was a lot of time That film broke the world It sure did

[00:02:39] Sure did just have her covered. Yeah, I would just say stay out of movie theaters this holiday season just to be safe Like I don't want to I don't want to do this whole thing again Well, the color purple is coming out on christmas. So Uh

[00:02:52] Who knows if I can keep that promise, but we'll see how it goes. That looks good. It does it doesn't look it doesn't look like It's cats, but it looks good way better than a different level of good. You know, I think we all can enjoy that one

[00:03:05] probably Oh, yeah Cats that was fun. Uh, let's talk about heaven down here. Shall we let's do it man In case you missed it heaven down here by the way just an When I asked you to come on the show

[00:03:20] I said send me what you want to be on and it's yours and you said I want to be on heaven down here is the movie that I want why

[00:03:28] Honestly, and I have feelings about this we'll get into later, but it was the four felicia vr. Shot bingo Yeah, yeah And we'll we'll break down my feelings about the delivery on that promise later

[00:03:43] Yeah, bradden said I just chose this one. I wonder why and I literally out loud said it was for felicia Yes Yeah, I want to be where claire hutzpahblas

[00:03:54] And I was I was kind of inherently promised felicia rachad stuck in a diner and I don't want to we can do it later We can do it later. We don't need to do it now. We'll do it later But you can tell yeah, um

[00:04:05] Originally on a december 14 2023 and I went a little something like this It's the day before christmas Also known as christmas eve Either way you want to say it is fine Amani is decorating cookies and singing with her kiddos

[00:04:20] She gets a call from the diner that she works at telling her that she has to come into work She's like hard pass man. It's christmas eve I'm hanging out with my kids and the boss is like well

[00:04:31] Just remember you could get fired if you don't come in and she's like i'll take the risk We then go to church and uh pastor felix is Sing in with the kids and then tells the congregation that if uh, we're still hey

[00:04:44] We're still trying to raise money. Some of y'all not doing your jobs here and they're they're already walking out They're not listening Um and honestly been there man. Um, then we meet claire

[00:04:56] She's having a hard time with the fact that her daughter is moving to la for film school and an even harder time now that she's paleo After baking cookies amani calls a bill's

[00:05:08] Collection place and they're like you haven't till january 1st and it's going to collections. There's nothing we can do So she realizes i do In fact need to go into work after all that's unfortunate

[00:05:19] Pastor felix finds out that the people that he thought were responsible for cooking the meals For the christmas day meal time. Uh, they're they're doosin out early

[00:05:30] They said we've decided not to do that and so he has to go find some last minute groceries to feed the hungry on christmas day So amani claire felix, they're all on their way Headin out into the snow heaven down here is playing

[00:05:45] And the snow is starting to really come down claire gets to felicia reshardt's house claire is uh Her nurse is taking care of her and felicia is a grumpy grump in this movie She just wants claire to get the christmas decorations that gummit

[00:06:03] Amani goes to work and her boss is still being a little dinker and pastor felix's car breaks down in the snow Right outside the diner. He comes in and asks for spiked eggnog like a heathen uh, amani gets to gets a call

[00:06:20] That her son is having a panic attack and so she hops on a call talks talks him through it's mom of the year claire uh heads out into the storm walking through a literal blizzard

[00:06:32] But you know what it's good to get some air, you know exercise get some air That's what you need to do during a blizzard amani gets mad when a guy leaves a one dollar tip and amani um

[00:06:44] I'm sorry pastor felix is like hey, it's all good man. Just chill and she comes back finds 40 dollars on the table They got ain't that like them amen The owner dan of said diner says hey i'm leaving i'm going to a party

[00:06:57] I have lots of friends and amani is like all right man Well, I guess we'll shut down early. He's like no we're gonna stay open and you're gonna stay here So she's real peeved uh claire stops by the diner to pick up a cake um

[00:07:12] But she gets stuck in the snow the snow is really there's nothing you can do at this point Some punks do punk stuff and they run out. Can you believe those punks? Uh, it's now just the three of them stuck in the diner on christmas eve

[00:07:24] Or is it just the three of them because she finds dan in his office playing video games He never actually left she's so mad because he's the only reason why she stayed

[00:07:35] If she didn't have to stay she would be at home on christmas eve with her kids where she belongs So she just goes to leave and she's like i'm just gonna power through i'll take back roads But then a power line falls down

[00:07:47] So she has to come back in they share stories of christmas's past and dan tells everybody the reason why he sucks as a person Is because he doesn't have any friends

[00:07:56] He didn't want to be you know, want people to think that he was a loser for not having friends So he makes up a party uh with friends and also i have art skills That's what you need to know about dan uh

[00:08:08] They then spend time decorating the diner because there's nothing else to do But then amani realizes that those punk kids remember the punks They stole her tips Clara jumps in with dynamite feedback such as you should be more careful

[00:08:22] Amani tells her off and just kind of walks back into the kitchen pastor felix talks to her again He's like hey man. Just chill and uh they end up making up

[00:08:32] They find a keyboard which is perfect because it's time for a sing-along time via facetime with her kids That's the only way that they can fall asleep. So thank god for that keyboard The generator goes out and amani tells felix that the food that was in the freezer

[00:08:46] That was meant for a group that group never came because of the storm So they can now use that food to make meals for the hungry. This is great news They have a little cook session

[00:08:56] They dance real fast and amani and felix have a moment and i have to be honest with you I did not see this coming. It did make me uncomfortable

[00:09:05] They fall asleep. They wake up the next day. The crews are out there working on the road as she goes to leave Claire drops a photo of felicia reshards that she had of this the file that she took from her house

[00:09:17] It's amani as a baby amani is like why do you have a picture of me as baby? Claire is like oh dang. Yeah Um, that is a picture from the file of the lady that i'm working with is felicia reshard um actually fun fact her

[00:09:33] daughter died suddenly and What um and she had a daughter and when she was given up for adoption might be you and she's like oh my gosh I was adopted. Wow. Felicia reshard is your long lost grandmother. This is amazing

[00:09:46] Also amani's tips were out in the snow all night. Uh punk kids still punks still punks, but not Not the thieves wasn't them. Yeah, it wasn't them at all who may have Last may have jumped to jump to um

[00:10:03] Claire takes amani and her kids to meet felicia reshard a dream. I must say Um, and they meet each other and she tells her that she would like for her And the kids to move in with her to enjoy the time that she has left here

[00:10:16] Right on here on this earth Felix makes up with his son and the whole crew shows up at felix's church And they do the meal thing and then amani goes up to sing heaven down here cut to a year later She's singing that song still

[00:10:32] I I think she's taking a break, but who can say the church is poppin She's singing amani and felis I kiss big ones with their eyes and that my friends was heaven down here We We did do it. Let's take a quick break. We'll come back

[00:13:47] For one more. Yeah, this is the last full weekend. We could have just as it had been done Yeah, I've been sick Christmas with our families and now not this year not this year. Nope. We're fine

[00:13:56] Let's bring this movie down. Brian. I'll start with you with the hot take. What do you think of heaven down here? Yeah, this this felt like a movies and mysteries movie for sure

[00:14:05] Like through and through uh, I I had high hopes. I think we all had high hopes for this one I thought It didn't really land for me is the bottom line

[00:14:15] I I thought that the diner was gonna be like more of a character like more fun in the diner more diner stuff like diner food making shakes and what whatnot you're disappointed by the lack of shakes

[00:14:29] Be a whole milk shake making I really thought we'd have like just baskets of fries all the time All the diner food and it wasn't diner stuff diner stuff like doing diner stuff

[00:14:40] It wasn't that at all like I thought we were just gonna have a fun time with the diner during a snowstorm Which sounds great like that's a great place to be as long as the power doesn't go up

[00:14:50] Though the power did go out. They still had gas for the So the oven so you can still do diner stuff like you could still heat stuff up still do diner stuff

[00:14:58] Mist opportunity they do cook they do but it was like then they also like mix in dancing. I'm like Enough like do that's not diner stuff. You are not doing diner stuff. You're doing dance

[00:15:09] We got skimped on the diner stuff skim on the diner stuff. So I was happy that everybody ended up happy Just I mean are you? I thought we're I thought it was gonna be a little bit of different movie

[00:15:23] And it was like very movies and mysteries. I forgot like I guess it's my fault I forgot we were on movies and mysteries So it didn't really work overall for me, but I'm glad everybody ended up happy Justin Kirkland heaven down here. You picked it glad you did

[00:15:40] Oh, I think you're muted. Did you meet yourself? Yep. Nope. There it is We're back. We're back. Yeah Go ahead. I need to set up actually, uh, Justin Kirkland. Uh, you picked this movie. You happy you did No

[00:15:58] I feel like I got a big bait and switch I signed up for this movie because of Felicia Rashad aka Tony winner Felicia Rashad aka Claire Hoxtable. Yes, Dr. Claire Hoxtable

[00:16:09] And we got a little like at the beginning and at the end and she was kind of insufferable Good at being insufferable but kind of insufferable. So then like I try to make the most out of

[00:16:21] Every situation. So then I really went into it and I was like what else can I take from this? I will say um The musical the song time musical merely we roll along is playing in new york right now and I didn't realize until the end that Emani

[00:16:37] Is one of the lead characters in it right now. Wow incredible So I tried to soak that up But really where my head ended up going the entire time is if you guys heard that randy travis song where he's like a farmer and a teacher

[00:16:49] A hooker and a preacher It's about them being on like a bus and then the bus crashes and three of them die and it turns out that the hooker which we use the term sex worker Was the one that survived and carried the message forward

[00:17:03] I started kind of like paralleling that to the movie and I think it killed my vibe Is that three wooden crosses? The highway Nothing nothing works for brian more than a Randy travis a good old classic country some bus crash

[00:17:26] Travis dread or randy travis randy travis all right I uh sometimes i mix up my travis's my surnames and my first names of course Were you familiar with the song heaven down here? No, but i'm a big

[00:17:42] Well, I was gonna say i'm a big fan of mickey gotten clearly. I'm not Um because I didn't know the song heaven down here, but I was I was thrilled. I love a titular song Uh my first appearance on this lovely program was for it's christmas christmas eve

[00:17:57] That's right, which also has a titular song and maybe that's my fault because i'm chasing a hide that yeah Yeah, maybe doesn't exist anymore It can't and once you've it christmas it's christmas eve

[00:18:10] Yeah, can you can you do it again? We did we actually reviewed it in july come on back check that out. Um So I I had never heard the song before either and I do think maybe if I had heard it

[00:18:22] The movie would have worked a little bit more Instead of what we're left with is uh a group of people that I just Together didn't do much for me. It's like you know like if I'm if I'm gonna like breakfast club it

[00:18:35] Like I want the group I want the group to grow on me and I want there to be characters that are lovable And I want to be rooting for them and ultimately I didn't Really find any of these people especially like yeah, this is amazing because like even

[00:18:49] Uh, uh the lead who's like a great singer is just randomly like she just gets mad at people all the time Everybody has their stuff that they're going through and I'm just kind of like okay. That's fine

[00:19:01] And then the weird thing happened where they're like with the with the eyes during the dancing and I just was like what's happening Uh, so overall there wasn't a lot for me to root for in this movie which is unfortunate

[00:19:17] Um, you know the ending with the song and the choir like yeah The song was great and the choir was wonderful But overall it just okay for brand a little bit on the disappointed side for

[00:19:29] Um all the reasons that have been mentioned and you know the lack of Felicia One of the previews look back some things I kickoffs. I I said that this was my sleeper of the year and It will put you to sleep

[00:19:46] I like I feel like in that regard it is a sleeper of the year. It is a good choice For a movie if you would like to doze off for a bit. Uh, this is very very disappointing

[00:19:59] I I know that we were never actually promised Felicia Rashad in a diner But in my it was like we were in my head we were yeah in my head Felicia Rashad was going to dispense some sage wisdom

[00:20:14] In a diner that was going to happen in this movie. Yeah, I thought she was going to be the claire Yes character. Yeah She's already been a character. She's already been a claire character to it and so that was disappointing the diner itself

[00:20:28] I'm not going to go down the diner stuff You rabbit hole that you went down. I'm still trying to work that out But they're only in the diner for a while. Can I just Your biggest complaint is no milkshakes

[00:20:40] Is that my understanding big one he thought they were going to do more diner stuff just stuff like this daily specials Yeah, I mean ring in the bell and the milkshake pie Maybe hats those paper that yeah, johnny rockets

[00:20:57] I I feel like they were actually only stuck in the diner for about 45 minutes of the hour and 22 minute run time of the movie so I I just didn't feel like They did anywhere close to fulfilling the promise of what the film was described to me as being

[00:21:14] Um, and yeah, I didn't really care about anybody in particular some definite sweet moments toward the end of this movie But no just kind of boring and not very good. I mean not actively bad

[00:21:24] Just kind of disappointing is all i'm saying. We're not mad. We're disappointed. That's right. Our father would be so disappointed Our father their father would be so disappointed god I guess I guess so okay. Yes, so he's he's trying to call back to that

[00:21:41] Can I add on to that for just like a quick second? All these people were very bad at their jobs. Yeah So I do think that our father who art in heaven would be very disappointed because one of those is like a direct servant

[00:21:54] That's right. He was not not a good preacher like Correct Lady was like and money was not a good waitress. Claire was bad at everything. Yeah feelings on that later I just yeah

[00:22:06] Well, here's the thing and everybody wants to get up and leave during announcement at the end of the service No one actually does it actually does the fact that people were and this is why you do announcements In between the first and second song

[00:22:18] That's what you know where you should have you should you can't do that because you know another song's coming And then I'm preaching so you can't wait until the end No one actually gets up, but they sure did so that's a testament to how bad he is

[00:22:30] But I guess that he figured it out because the church was popping by the end of it Let's get to all the feels this is where we're talking about what in this movie gave us those feels No diner feels for brian any other feels buddy

[00:22:41] Yeah, actually is like we've all kind of touched on the whole cast like nobody really stood out or connected But Felicia were shot and her role for me was the best part of the movie

[00:22:50] And at the end the whole thing at the end with her coming around was great I felt like So happy for everybody who got to act with Felicia were shot of this movie and just like be around her and hopefully that was a great

[00:23:01] Experience, so it was great to see her in this movie. I wish she were in the diner that there's no way around it I mean come on diner feels through the roof Felicia was shot sitting in one of those Fribble her shake just slide away

[00:23:14] Telling people like how to get their lives together Yeah, that would have done it. She's she's asking you if you want to warm up of your coffee No No, she's not I'm just saying but she would like that's how kind she is

[00:23:31] She sees it. Yeah, she sees it. You're getting low and she's like I got you sure. Yeah, sure. Yeah Yeah, that's good. It's good stuff. Quite a good dynamite dropping Justin any feels

[00:23:41] I mean clara gave me all the feels because she reminds me a lot of my landlord In that like I don't feel like she she had a lot of social cues down Um, I feel like she was like largely pretty offensive But like I liked it

[00:23:58] I don't know like there was something really charming about it And I think that I it got the feels from that other than that. I just had some I had some anger had some frustration I I don't know that those are the feels that we're going for though

[00:24:12] Yeah, I love a choir And so I don't know if this rid the song and it's original Recording has a choir But I would listen to this version with a choir because it was great. You can really make most songs slap with a choir so

[00:24:29] That at the end when the choir is rocking. I'm like, yep. I I'm also rocking. There's nothing I could do day No, that's as close as I had to a feel so I'll go with that

[00:26:07] There was a real audible loud pop and the lights are out and then miraculously they come back on again Like the lights have to stop coming on at some point like things are popping exploding lines are down

[00:26:19] The lights just keep coming back. Maybe it's the generator kicking in It's just the noises the lights are making when they're going out It just sounds like I would just go outside maybe get out of that building. It sounded very dangerous

[00:26:30] Uh, she puts she sings her kids to sleep you mentioned this they do the sing along over via face time And those kids are asleep in about 15 seconds flat. Yeah, I was just those kids my kids went up 200 questions

[00:26:42] Over zoom who are those people? Where did you get a piano? Can I have a piano? My brother's getting a piano. Can I have a piano too? Like it would just be non-stop That citter definitely gave them a handful of melatonin like hey

[00:26:56] My kids would be fighting over who get to see the screen Like you you know, they're just like maybe yelling out requests like it's just that's not gonna go that way You're right. She must have drugged those kids right to sleep. Uh melatonin

[00:27:08] Of course, right, right just drugs The uh the sign outside of rocko said 20 open 24 hours And they specifically talked about closing early and closing in general She was supposed to close for somebody like why are they closed? Why are we talking about closing?

[00:27:26] We should never close not not if the old old diner diner watchdog brian I had to buy something to say here. That's right. That's exactly right 24 hours. I know a diner

[00:27:37] I was promised a 3 a.m. Milk shake. Yeah, it's just another thing with the diner diner vibes are like down the toilet And just yeah, that was just a pop song for the christmas service. This is the second time this year

[00:27:48] We've had a pop song as the at the christmas Heaven at least at least yeah, we're getting closer. Yeah, it's not like don't yeah The other one was just like absolutely. Yeah original song. Yeah, so that's it for me Justin anyway, what's

[00:28:02] Two massive ones. I'm so happy that you asked The first is How much is the babysitter getting paid? Yeah Like hourly wage and like how is that netting out with the hourly wage? Correct that

[00:28:17] The waitress is making because this seems kind of like a wash. Yeah, it feels like it's going to be a net zero kind of situation So like Is this a friend also? Why did that woman look like kind of likely to done them?

[00:28:33] And then the other massive massive question that I have that I know that we're going to dedicate 24 minutes to is the quote I'll go get the blankets. We have stashed for cold summer nights. Thank you I've written down and I held off on it. Are you kidding me?

[00:28:51] I'll go get the blankets. We have stashed for cold summer Nights. Yeah, thank you so much. Imani. What? Yeah. Can we just get some information? What are you talking about? Like saltine rolls around it's like where's your sweater? You're on your own kid

[00:29:06] But like a cold summer nights. We got you covered literally everybody because here's the thing Everyone has jackets in the winter but summer sometimes that summer breeze comes along and you're not prepared

[00:29:19] So that's why they have you hooked up at this diner. They thought of it especially when you're inside Yeah, it just it just attacks you out of nowhere. There's a blanket there I had a blanket When are they using these at the diner? In the cold summer nights

[00:29:36] Somebody's at the diner and they're like you drinking a soda posp And they're like man, it is cold. I could go for a cup of coffee. Well, we don't serve that during the summer But not hot now hot. We've got a blanket for you though

[00:29:49] If you put that right one the chef's back there with just a blanket over just flip the burgers this cold summer night My last short one is I I love I love a clergy member, you know, etc. So I'm not bashing the church or anything

[00:30:03] But like you're a hedge fund manager. You completely blown your life apart You want to do something good in the world and you're like hold on Let me start a church when you really could just kind of hit the ground running

[00:30:12] Yeah, and do like social work. That's right volunteer And I'm like brother. I don't know like and it also seems like maybe you're not that good at this So like try something a little more like You imagine sitting through a whole sermon of that guy Oh, Felix

[00:30:29] I'm Felix I have a few we have a um A university in town of bob jones. I've known for a lot of things Uh, one of the things you can't do on that campus is dance

[00:30:42] And I usually push back against that until I saw this fast dance in the kitchen and now I'm on board There was something about it that did not sit right with me How fast the devil how fast felix was dancing with these women?

[00:30:58] And then making ice there was something afoot in that diet any rhythm at all I don't he was just going nuts man. He was possessed by the devil himself There was something wrong and I am now here to say I've been wrong this whole time

[00:31:13] Um, I I did get a kick out of the fact that she finds her baby picture And she's like, oh my gosh, just a picture of me as a baby Modeling my my my heart out that baby was a model just like hey, I'm a baby

[00:32:44] It was it was not a church service. We are in need of some money still. I see some are leaving Um, i'm going to power through more are leaving Uh, okay for the the staff members who have stayed around you're you're leaving too. What what uh

[00:33:01] She uh, clara is working for felicia rachad and Felicia rachad's like can you go get me something from the attic? And I thought there's going to be like, you know an attic which is like a pop-down thing in a house And then we see

[00:33:14] Two full flights of stairs Like like 10 or 12 stairs Twice in a row leading to a room that can only be described as not an attic It is there are windows everywhere. There's a full like you can stand up

[00:33:30] There's shelving like not not an attic. There's not any uh, you know something that's going to kill you if you touch it Or so much lighting and you never see the front of the house, but is the house four stories

[00:33:44] Is it a four story tall house for just felicia rachad? Is that correct? I mean Three and then hide that the attic at the top. Um, thank god This diner has all battery powered light displays You every window has lights around it in garland

[00:34:06] And every single windows light display because the power goes out and those stay on Are all powered by a pack of four double a batteries Do you want to talk about like hell on earth? Hell down here working that job

[00:34:22] Where you you have to change the batteries of the window displays And you have to turn those on and off manually I mean, I Well, luckily, uh, dan doesn't have any friends. So he has all the time in the world I just why not you you have

[00:34:40] Of course, yeah, not me. Why not just plug them in like everybody else does guys and just have a switch I don't I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy

[00:34:49] Um, there's a table she basically gets called into work on christmas eve because we find out there's a table for seven people That that there's a group coming in later, but they're like, hey, there's a table for seven

[00:35:01] That's coming in in 20 minutes and dan is like, hey, there's a table coming for seven 20 minutes Can you set the table and she's like i've already done it and then he says well then get started on the drinks

[00:35:14] You can't do that you can't get started on the drinks. There are seven people That's a relatively normal size party and you don't know what they want to drink a flyer on lemonade Watered down lemonade a fountain coke. I don't know

[00:35:31] It started on the drinks. What are you talking about dan and get those blankets out of storage just in case Just in case for the cold summer nights Uh brandon covered. I will when when she sings the line the little lord jesus asleep on the hay

[00:35:46] She says the little lord jesus asleep in the hay. Can I tell you why I didn't I googled it? And those are the lyrics on google in the hay in the hay which jesus is dying like under some hay

[00:35:59] He's under he's getting in a nebulous of hay. We're all celebrating the birth of our lord and He's like yeah, oh my goodness. He's on top of the matter prepositions matter The messiah came and went to you in the hay

[00:36:16] In the hay and then last sleep under hey Through the hay uh I there's a point in this movie where three of them are sitting at one booth And one of them is not and one person goes looks at their watching goes guys It's christmas

[00:36:33] And and i'm like oh cool. It's midnight. They're gonna be like merry christmas everybody and then another person goes Look at the moon And they all run to the window and they look outside and amidst the clouds. There's a full moon Why why did they need to wait?

[00:36:51] What is there a special midnight on christmas morning that I don't know about? Where you all look at the moon Guys, it's christmas. Look at the everybody look right now. Now's the time. It's the moment we've been waiting for

[00:37:05] We're all gonna look at the moon. Why I don't know that's when the head landing a dindam Addendum to the moon If the moon is out does that not mean the storm is over. That's right. Yeah, yes Go home walk home go home exactly

[00:37:22] Literally like reenacted the entire film the day after tomorrow to get to the Blizzard is fine cold dry not windy No, I can't do it not in this storm. Oh great is the day after tomorrow though. I'm all right classic

[00:37:40] I gotta be honest. I just saw the trailer for ghost busters 2 And it starts like it's a day after tomorrow I thought it was a sequel that joke in the theater and I'm pumped. I'm like finally They've listened the day after the day after tomorrow day after

[00:37:55] Man wouldn't that be the dream? It's time for what the hallmarks where you wonder what could have been maybe have to get Some clarity question we still have brian. What are you still wondering about buddy?

[00:38:03] Yeah, very early on when she gets that customer who leaves the lousy tip Yeah, I think she said he left he had a 75 dollar bill and left like a dollar or two tip

[00:38:13] How do you spend 75 bucks at a diner like that is not your diner stuff tough to do Like that's your gift cards. Maybe maybe stock it up on gift cards. Maybe a whole pie a whole cake

[00:38:25] Still three people now that's that's just doable three people's doable in this in 2023. This economy It felt high. I wanted to get a look at his receipt anyway Justin um

[00:38:39] Couple things I want I just want an entire show about claire because I don't feel like we've really highlighted How brutal claire is throughout this entire thing. Yeah, not a good nurse Real mad at her daughter for being paleo um

[00:38:56] My favorite moment is when and monty loses her tips and claire's like are you stupid? Are you it's your fault? You should know better. It's like a woman. Let's let's all cool it like take a lap Take a lap She was she was really intense

[00:39:12] But the person that I've been thinking about literally since I watched it Was the kid who on his way out ran into a monty and then turned around and said okay boomer. Yeah

[00:39:22] I was just bitten has this just been shelved for a few years and they were like heaven down here I think it was it shouldn't have stuck in my mind as much as it did but it really really messed with me um

[00:39:37] And I I was going to go on a tangent about tipping culture, but I don't really think that we need to do that I just think that people should pay their employees enough so that nobody has to like expose that they're terrible at math

[00:39:49] Just pay your employees to do their job well and quit asking people to to put in extra money Because it ends up getting awkward and then you lose it in the snow anyway. Yeah I legitimately did think that uh felix took it for a minute

[00:40:04] And I don't know if that just means that I'm like wow But I was like that man needs money for his groceries. He fully pickpocketed that woman Man, let's put it away. Oh man

[00:40:15] You gotta do they're just making out in the freezer. That's all they're doing. We didn't see that scene brother But they definitely made out in the freezer That's the next natural thing that you do when you dance in the kitchen

[00:40:26] When you fast dance, that's what they've been warning us of yes fast dance a fast track to make Exactly right. That's exactly right So they do Introduce a keyboard in this movie and they say oh, yeah the the cook he stores it here

[00:40:42] For a practice. I like what what is the reasoning for him? Does he have band practice at the diner? I don't know What is the reason for having to store your keyboard at the diner instead of your house or car or literally

[00:41:01] Or anywhere else why diner? Why is it like I am so I I'm just There's I can't slide it under my bed at home. There's nowhere I can put this skinny instrument So I have to store it at my place of work

[00:41:15] I don't know. I don't know why he had to uh, but it was good for them I mean you made out awesome, but um, I just I don't know why you would do that dana Um, and maybe this can be easily answered am I to understand That

[00:41:30] A year later when they're singing the exact same song On christmas morning the next year That she is is she the choir director now Is that I think so. Yeah, they uh, they kind of like started a choir

[00:41:45] And then she's the director of that she went from like Diner waitress to now she is the director of the choir. Yes. How's that going? How's that going for her?

[00:41:55] Is that paying more than being a waitress of a diner being a director of a six person chair? She's living with uh, With uh, I'm on now so you got a couple mouths to feed. Yeah. Yeah, but you know, you can do that You can do that
