[00:00:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you know that? You're in a hurry in the morning, quickly put on your favorite shirt, grab a coffee and bang! A stain!

[00:00:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't panic, Persil Discs save the day. With their powerful formula they clean the most stifling stains themselves.

[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_00]: For deep, pure laundry. Just throw the disc into the drum and the rest? That's what your washing machine does.

[00:00:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Because you always give your best. Try the best discs from Persil now.

[00:00:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Keep children's reach.

[00:00:30] [SPEAKER_10]: Hello, madam! It's Brandon. I love Hallmark fall movies!

[00:00:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Hello, my ladies. I'm Brian. I like Hallmark fall movies.

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_07]: What's up, my ladies? I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark fall movies and this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast!

[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_07]: What did you say?

[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That was a distillation.

[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a distillation.

[00:01:07] [SPEAKER_10]: Brian's just mad he didn't get to do the distillation. That's right. Yeah, that's the problem.

[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I found the band and everything.

[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Larry? You did not find Larry. No. You did not find him. He only works for us on the distillation.

[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_06]: I introduced you to him!

[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_06]: That was a long time ago though. We're closer than you guys are.

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_10]: Just because you got closer to him doesn't mean that you've introduced me to him.

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_06]: If you haven't heard it, you gotta check it in.

[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_10]: I just want to remind you there's a reason why I'm not as close to Larry.

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_10]: And you know that reason and you still chosen to get close to him.

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_07]: The fact that we still have him on the show. He hasn't done that to me.

[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_10]: I know he hasn't done it to you, but he will. He does it to all of his friends at some point.

[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_06]: He's a great musician!

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I mean he's a musician. What do you expect?

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_08]: Hello everybody! Happy Tuesday! Happy Hallmark Plus Launch Day!

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_08]: Everyone that celebrates!

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_08]: Chicken Sisters!

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_08]: Dune Bay! Jane Mystery!

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_08]: There's just so much!

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_10]: There's too much to handle!

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_10]: People looked at the Hallmark Plus release and they said,

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_10]: The guys at Hallmark can't possibly do all that stuff on a premiere day.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_10]: It doesn't work out timing wise.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh guess what?

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_07]: Check out our calendar.

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_07]: Sure does!

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_10]: It's happening!

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_10]: We're coming in on a Tuesday!

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_10]: I mean we are always on a Tuesday.

[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_10]: The word is Tuesday now.

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_10]: But we're staying after the release!

[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_10]: Extra credit!

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_10]: I know it's 3am.

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_10]: Overtime!

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_10]: I know it's 3am, but we're staying after this and we're going to binge it all.

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_10]: When's the unscripted stuff?

[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_10]: We're not doing that.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_06]: That's a good question.

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_10]: When's that Lacey show come on? Does anybody know?

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_10]: Erin, do you know anything about that?

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_07]: This cool fall movie she did.

[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_10]: She does! Are you talking about His and Hers?

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_10]: His and Hers!

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_10]: His and Hers is the movie we're talking about today.

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_10]: Very excited to bring it down.

[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_06]: The highest rating of all time?

[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_06]: No, of this month.

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Because we do it by month for now.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_06]: It ended up with the highest score.

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Stamp out that ghost?

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_06]: We didn't stamp out any ghosts for this one.

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_07]: We seance-ed it.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_07]: I gave it 3 and a cream.

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_07]: Which is definitely the highest of the...

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_10]: And Brian gave it 5.

[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_10]: Did you also port it up?

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_07]: I ported it up as well.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_06]: I stamped out that ghost for you.

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_07]: You gave it 5 and then you stamped out the ghost, which is like a little bit of a...

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_06]: I was on something, I feel like.

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Wow.

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_07]: That's your highest. You gave it the highest of any of them.

[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Why would you not have?

[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't understand what you're...

[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_06]: You were under what we knew based on what we knew then?

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Under what we knew?

[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Under what we knew?

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_06]: Under that surplus of all those coats, those bomber jackets we were under?

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_10]: Sheesh.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_10]: We're going to talk about it, but of course the day is upon us.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_10]: Later today, Dan...

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_10]: Was it your understanding later today, Homer's putting out the schedule or was that Brian who...

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_10]: Brian, you said later today, maybe even by the time people are listening to this, you think the schedule is going to be up?

[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_10]: I sure do, Brian.

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_10]: You said Homer Plus is going to drop and on the same day when they're celebrating the big release of that platform that they've been promoting for a while,

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_10]: they're going to overshadow that with the schedule of the Christmas press.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, like ramp up the presses again. We're not done.

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_06]: Start them up! Start those presses back up!

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Start the presses!

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Start those presses!

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_06]: You know that old saying, start the presses?

[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I think... That was my guess.

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_07]: I gotta be honest, if they were gonna do that, you'd think that they would kind of almost preannounce it.

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_07]: Like, I don't think it's a terrible idea to launch your streaming service and the schedule on the same day,

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_07]: but you would think that they would give you a little something.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_10]: Like a live stream announcement on Hallmark Plus.

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_07]: That would be cool. That's how you do it.

[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_07]: And they take all the wind out of our sails. They do one weekend at a time.

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_07]: They talk about them. They do a full pre... That's what they should do.

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Everything we were gonna do, yeah.

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_06]: Should we get them to hire us?

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Guys, let's do this. We can do it.

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm gonna talk about it anyway.

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_06]: But if I'm wrong, we could still do all that stuff.

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_06]: That's true.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, we're still gonna do it.

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_10]: I can't believe how close we are to the marathon.

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_10]: Like, we're just like a month away. It's crazy.

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_10]: We're very excited about that.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_10]: So much to look forward to this time of year.

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_10]: September is a special month.

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_10]: It's a special month.

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_10]: It is.

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_10]: I think it's the best way to...

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_10]: There's a bit of a crisp in the air right now here in Greenville, South Carolina.

[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that Greenville, South Carolina.

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_10]: Which was just voted one of...

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_07]: Country living's best Christmas towns in America.

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_06]: 13th.

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_06]: 13th?

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_07]: I thought we were top 10.

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_07]: So we didn't break the top 10.

[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Who was ahead of us?

[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_06]: New York City.

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay, fair.

[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_06]: So what, they have a few big balls.

[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_06]: Cape Cod was ahead of us.

[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Cape Cod?

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_06]: On Christmas?

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_06]: On the beach?

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_06]: Get out of here.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_06]: There was a town in Texas.

[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_06]: No.

[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh yeah.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_06]: This is hogwash.

[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Some Vermont town.

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, some good ones, but a couple I feel like we could've inched out.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't like that.

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_06]: We could've inched out?

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, we could've inched out.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_06]: We could've inched them.

[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, you mean the edge tomato tomato.

[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, okay.

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Maybe next year.

[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_10]: Erin, do you have an update on Lacey's show?

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_10]: Erin has an update on Lacey's show.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_01]: So Lacey's show, the first episode airs today, September 10th.

[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_10]: Of course.

[00:06:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Episode two comes out on Thursday.

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_01]: And then for the following weeks, a new episode will be released on Thursdays.

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_10]: And they're doing like all of their releases on Thursdays, which is an interesting...

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_07]: That's an interesting tactic, if you can show up on Thursday and get a new movie,

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_07]: a new TV show and a new reality unscripted show every, every Thursday.

[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_10]: We're getting a new, a new Jane, a new dune Bay, a new Lacey show every Thursday,

[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_10]: a new chicken sister every Thursday. It's a lot. Thursday's the new Thursday's

[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_10]: the new Friday. Why not split it up one day a week? I don't know. I don't

[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_10]: understand that. I don't know. Why not do a schedule release show? I don't

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_10]: know. All the good ideas are all great. We have ideas. I'm sure they

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_07]: thought and what's a billion dollar company. I think they probably have done a little

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_10]: bit of research. I'm sure they're focus group up TV's Christmas schedule came

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_10]: out. We didn't do the big release show on that. 12 new movies for them plus a

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_10]: Gaither special. We will be doing the Gaither specials. We're gonna be

[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_10]: talking about it. What was the highlight of the Gaither special? Are you okay?

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, the chicken. So excited. Chicken got you. We got chicken to celebrate the

[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_10]: launch of the chicken sisters. That's what we did at three a.m. Mr. Three a.m.

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_10]: Chicken. You guys ready to talk about the first fall movie of the year?

[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I want hers. This movie was his and hers originally premiered on the

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_10]: Hallmark Channel on September 7th, 2024. And it went a little something like

[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_10]: this. Mark and Dana are lawyers, but they're also married. They're

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_10]: celebrating seven fabulous years. Good work, everybody. And they couldn't be

[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_10]: happier. They find out that they're each representing one half of a reality

[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_10]: star pairing that wants a divorce. Dana is representing tabby like the cat.

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_10]: I'm happy. Mark is representing Brett's like the Debbie, but they're

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_10]: not allowed to talk about their current clients because of NDAs, non-disclosure

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_10]: agreements. For those of you out there that know. But after their clients are

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_10]: served, it all comes out that they are both representing the opposite side.

[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_10]: They agree to stay on the case mainly because they can't get out of it and

[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_10]: work together to make this as smooth as possible and hopefully stay out of

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_10]: court. We don't want to go to court. But the problem is, is both

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_10]: clients really want everything. They don't want to split it 50-50. They want

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_10]: it all. I want it all. Dana desperately wants to avoid court because she

[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_10]: doesn't like speaking, which is a tough job for a lawyer to not want

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_10]: to talk about. Anyway, she doesn't like the public speaking. And so

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_10]: they're trying their best to not let work get in between them. But

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_10]: after their background checks that the other couple got on both of them, it

[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_10]: gets mixed up. And so he reads her background check, finds out that she

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_10]: was married at one point to a Will Kemp.

[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_07]: William Kemp? What?

[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_10]: And she reads his background check and finds out that at one point he

[00:09:47] [SPEAKER_10]: was in jail. They get into a bit of an argument, but they make up

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_10]: quickly because that's just how good of a couple they are.

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, they love each other with all their heart.

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_10]: That's exactly. Oh, that's good.

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_10]: Um, that's really good.

[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_10]: So they're working together.

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_10]: They're trying to figure out how can we keep this out of the courts.

[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_10]: But it turns out it's really tough to be on opposing sides of a court

[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_10]: case. And even when you love each other, sometimes things get messy.

[00:10:14] [SPEAKER_10]: They're working hard.

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_10]: But what can you do?

[00:10:16] [SPEAKER_10]: They do have to go.

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_07]: You said that like you had experience with it.

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_07]: Did you and Caitlin lawyers do different sides of the case?

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_10]: Yes.

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_10]: You know, me lawyer, Brian Esquire, Esquire, pretty good.

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_10]: I trial. That's a good title.

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_10]: Brand Esquire is a pretty good title.

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_10]: Right. I like top 10 titles.

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_10]: I know you do.

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_10]: I like it.

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_10]: So they end up having to go to court and when they get there,

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_10]: Dana has a realization while looking at a piece of paper that

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_10]: maybe there's some information that is being hidden by the boy over

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_10]: the group, not her boy, but the boy that her boy is representing.

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_10]: So she says, can I get a quick recess?

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_10]: And she goes and she swings and she goes on to slide,

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_10]: plays a little dodge ball and then right back in for class.

[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_10]: Then she goes because it's three seconds.

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_10]: It's a fun recess.

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_10]: You can do all that in recess.

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_10]: So then after recess, she goes and she pays the quote unquote

[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_10]: mistress of visits who she has been claiming this whole time.

[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_10]: She doesn't have any money, but suddenly she's opening up

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_10]: this new Pilates method class place.

[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_10]: And she's like, hey, is Brett funding this new project

[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_10]: as a way to make it seem like he has less money.

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_10]: So he has to split less.

[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_10]: And she's like, I don't know.

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_10]: And she basically like either you come and you tell the

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_10]: truth in court or bad stuff's going to happen.

[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_10]: You've been withholding information.

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_10]: So she ends up going to court and she tells everybody

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_10]: that Brett and her were never a thing.

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_10]: In fact, every time Brett would talk to her about Tabby,

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_10]: he'd just talk about how amazing Tabby is in this whole time.

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_10]: And so Tabby and Brett are like, oh my gosh, what?

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_10]: This is crazy. They end up making up in the court.

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_10]: And so no divorce, no problem.

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_10]: All in all done. Roll the credits.

[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_10]: Merry Christmas.

[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_10]: That night, Mark and Dana are hanging out, eating popcorn,

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_10]: watching TV, and they see a commercial for a new show

[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_10]: that Brett and Tabby are going to be hosting.

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_10]: And they are like, man, that was a really quick

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_10]: turnaround unless this was all fake.

[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_10]: It all clicks in.

[00:12:34] [SPEAKER_10]: So they go and they talk to their head honchos

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_10]: at their respective law firms, their Esquires,

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_10]: of their Esquires.

[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_10]: And they're like, yeah, we actually knew about it.

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_10]: And you know, it was good for the geese,

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_10]: it's good for the gizzard.

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_10]: And so we just kind of let it happen

[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_10]: because we would get free promotion as well,

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_10]: which is wonderful.

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_10]: We get the promotion, they get the promotion,

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_10]: everybody wins.

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_10]: And so Mark and Dana begin to be like,

[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_10]: that's messed up, don't like that.

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_10]: And so even though she's about to be handed

[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_10]: the keys to the company and he's about to be made

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_10]: a partner, they say, what's the point if it's dirty?

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_10]: What's the point if you're not doing things

[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_10]: the right way.

[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_10]: And so they both decide to quit and they join together

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_10]: to start their own law firm.

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_10]: So they never have to compete against each other

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_09]: ever again.

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_09]: And that my friends was His and Hers.

[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_07]: We did it.

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_07]: Boom!

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_07]: Boom everybody.

[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_07]: One more?

[00:13:37] Boom!

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_10]: Boom!

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_10]: We're gonna take a quick break.

[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_10]: We're gonna come back, we're gonna talk His and Hers

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_10]: here on Deck the Hallmark.

[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_10]: Welcome back everybody.

[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_10]: Happy fall.

[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_10]: Hopefully you're doing well today on this Tuesday.

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_10]: We're talking His and Hers, the first fall movie.

[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_10]: Falling into love over on the Hallmark channel.

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_10]: Did we fall into love with this movie?

[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_10]: We're talking His and Hers

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_10]: and we're gonna share our hot takes.

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_07]: Was this actually advertised as a fall movie?

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_07]: I mean it's under the umbrella.

[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_07]: I didn't think about it as a fall movie once

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_07]: and then you said it and I was like,

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_10]: oh my goodness.

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_10]: You know what, I'll double check to make sure

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_10]: that this is under the fall into love umbrella

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_10]: because I don't wanna give faulty information here.

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_10]: Faulty.

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_10]: Faulty information.

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_10]: Of course.

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_10]: But we're gonna share our hot takes.

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_10]: We're gonna share exactly how we felt about this movie.

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_10]: Don't heat it up too much

[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_10]: because the temperature is just right.

[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_10]: But please share what you thought about His and Hers.

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_10]: A brisk take.

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_06]: Well first of all, I'd be surprised

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_06]: if it were under the fall umbrella.

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_06]: I thought it was, so a big part of my disappointment here

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_06]: was like there's no fall to be found here.

[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Not fall at all.

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_06]: It didn't feel fall at all.

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_06]: It doesn't even try.

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_06]: No, not even color correction on the tree.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Nothing, they're not even trying.

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_06]: So I was really hoping for more fall, no fall.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_06]: So I'm just gonna pretend it's not a fall movie.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_06]: So take that off the table.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_06]: I feel kind of like a bad person.

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_10]: I mean it's the first one listed

[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_10]: as fall into love.

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_10]: Wow.

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_10]: 2024 movies.

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_10]: It's not fall at all though.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_06]: So a huge mark against it because I wanted some fall.

[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_06]: I feel a little bad

[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_06]: because I didn't like it as much as I thought I would.

[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_06]: I thought that-

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_07]: Five PSLs, come on.

[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, way high on it, way high.

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_06]: Everybody was great.

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Like the quality of it, very, very high,

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_06]: very well done, leads phenomenal obviously.

[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_06]: I just thought going into this,

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_06]: it was gonna be like we're in the courtroom,

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_06]: we're battling, we're objecting,

[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_06]: we're submitting motions, we're side barring,

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_06]: we're going head to head, toe to toe.

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Battling, submitting motions, side barring,

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_06]: all the good stuff.

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Objection, you're out of order.

[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_06]: You're out of order.

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Can't handle the truth.

[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_06]: None of it.

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_06]: You get it.

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_06]: I thought they were gonna be going to town

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_06]: on each other in the courtroom.

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_07]: If it had been a courtroom drama played

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_07]: with hijinks with these two as the lawyers-

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_07]: That's what I thought we were getting.

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_07]: You wouldn't care about the fall.

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_07]: No, we'd be in the courtroom the whole time.

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Bingo, now we're talking.

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_06]: They'd walk in with coffee

[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_06]: and assume it's a pumpkin latte.

[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_06]: Like they could have done so much in the courtroom

[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_06]: and she didn't even wanna be in the courtroom.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_06]: She was afraid to be there.

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_07]: That was when I knew we were in trouble,

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_06]: right, that was when I knew we were in trouble.

[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_06]: And I didn't even realize they were being

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_06]: scammed by the divorced couple.

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_06]: When I really, like in the back of my mind,

[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm like, you know, maybe they goof around,

[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_06]: they just wanted the attention.

[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_06]: They're goofing.

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_06]: I was all in, like they tricked me.

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_06]: I was believing that they were having a problem.

[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_06]: No, I didn't know that either, I didn't.

[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_06]: So like when you find it out,

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_06]: I'm like this is not fun.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_06]: This isn't as fun as if they were actually getting divorced

[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_06]: and the two lawyers were going to town in the courtroom.

[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_06]: Brandon Elliott looks phenomenal in a suit.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Like he just looks so good in a suit.

[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_07]: I told Bram that unlike any other Hallmark lead,

[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_07]: I think it's very important to Brandon Elliott

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_07]: that his suits fit.

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_07]: His suits always fit like they're tailored.

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_07]: They look so good.

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_07]: And everybody else is like,

[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_07]: well, I'll take a 42 reg.

[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_07]: You know, he's just like no.

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_06]: He's got the right tie width,

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_06]: like everything, he looks great.

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_06]: That stood out.

[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Other than that, I was just like good no cream.

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_06]: Like I was feeling super nervous not creaming this

[00:17:12] [SPEAKER_06]: and I'm glad I didn't.

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_06]: I just kind of bummed out.

[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_07]: But you did go five PSLs.

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_06]: I went five PSLs way too high.

[00:17:19] [SPEAKER_06]: So I just thought it'd be a little bit different

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_06]: than it was.

[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_10]: This is a bold, bold movie.

[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_10]: Big, big swing by the Hallmark.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_10]: Obviously not putting Lacey and Brandon

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_10]: in the big swing here.

[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_10]: We know that that's gonna work.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_10]: And it does in this movie.

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_10]: Every time they are together,

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_10]: it is dynamite is electric.

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_10]: They're wonderful together.

[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_10]: We have though a movie about divorce,

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_10]: like these attorneys are dealing with this divorce.

[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_10]: We have a movie that when you think it's over,

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_10]: it's not.

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_10]: When you're listening to something.

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_10]: I thought for sure once it was,

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_10]: you know, they were at home,

[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_10]: they were eating the popcorn,

[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_10]: they would see them on the commercial

[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_10]: and they'd be like, they're getting back to it, huh?

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_10]: How about that?

[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_10]: And no, we got a whole nother 20 minutes left

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_10]: to this movie.

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_10]: And I didn't see that coming.

[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_10]: And I don't know if that necessarily

[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_10]: is a good thing or not.

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_10]: I didn't think it was necessary.

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_10]: I do appreciate that in a,

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_10]: where you could have just played it safe and easy.

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_10]: It's not often that we watch a Hallmark movie

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_10]: and go, oh wow, I didn't see this coming.

[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_10]: I didn't see that this revelation coming.

[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_10]: And so I liked the swing.

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_10]: I liked the attempt.

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_10]: It was not quite put together perfectly.

[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_10]: Some of it kind of felt a little bit,

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_10]: this is weird, I don't know about it.

[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_10]: But overall, it worked for me overall.

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_10]: And maybe it's just a lazy and brunette of it all

[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_10]: that anytime they're together, it's working.

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_10]: But I really appreciated this married couple,

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_10]: both of them are attorneys.

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_10]: And I thought that that was a really cool,

[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_10]: interesting story.

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_10]: And I found it to be interesting.

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_10]: What happened after the court,

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if I necessarily needed that,

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_10]: but I appreciated the attempt

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_10]: and I liked the story overall.

[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_10]: Is that Cece Leaves?

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_10]: Right here?

[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_10]: Right there?

[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_10]: Oh, is that right there?

[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Cece Leaves, what's she doing here?

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_09]: Cece Leaves, how are you?

[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_09]: Hi, bro.

[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_09]: Hi, what's going on?

[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_09]: Happy fall, please.

[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_09]: She got a little tickler in her throat.

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_09]: How'd you, I didn't know you were coming out today.

[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_09]: I love you so much, Cece Leaves.

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_10]: I'll wash my hands, you watch your mouth.

[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_08]: I gotta ask you, Cece Leaves,

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_08]: where have you been all year?

[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_08]: Look away.

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_09]: Where have you been all my life?

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_10]: I'm taken.

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_09]: Where have you been all like,

[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_09]: after the documents date?

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_09]: You're taking with me?

[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_09]: That's neither here nor there.

[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_09]: Oh, bro, you're so forward.

[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_09]: You're taking with me.

[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_09]: Oh, wow.

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_09]: That ain't even to my hair.

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_09]: Cece Leaves, one more question.

[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_09]: Stop staring daggers into my eyes.

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_09]: Okay, you go back to your corner,

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_10]: I'll stay in mine, okay?

[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_10]: Love you, Cece Leaves, great to see you.

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_10]: He's so great.

[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_10]: All right.

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_10]: Sorry about that, Dan.

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_07]: No problem.

[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, it's crazy how that happens.

[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_07]: Cece gets out of hand real quick.

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_07]: So I want you to imagine a movie like this one.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_07]: Still got the tag on her too, 15 bucks.

[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_07]: It's crazy, yeah, right there, 15 bones.

[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_07]: We've paid too much.

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_07]: We've had Cece Leaves for years.

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Instead of us starting with Brennan and Lacey,

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_07]: we start with Tabby and Brett.

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_07]: That's who we start with.

[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_07]: And we see them in the first scene,

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_07]: imagine this movie.

[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_07]: We see them in the first scene

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_07]: planning this whole thing.

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Ooh, okay, now we're talking.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_07]: So we see them planning the whole,

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_07]: we're gonna do this thing. World of difference.

[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_07]: We're gonna get the lawyers,

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_07]: we're gonna blah, blah, blah.

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_07]: And then Brennan and Lacey are the unsuspecting marks

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_07]: of this con, and we know that it's silly and ridiculous.

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_07]: And that allows Brennan and Lacey

[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_07]: to really go for the laughs.

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_07]: Because the thing about this movie that does work is

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_07]: Brennan and Lacey, when they get a chance to go

[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_07]: for the laughs are funny.

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_07]: They have good chemistry.

[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_07]: There's a scene when they switch,

[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_07]: and it'll be my feels,

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_07]: when they switch the background checks.

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_07]: Great scene, great scene.

[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_07]: Brennan and Lacey, great together.

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Us thinking that this is a real divorce,

[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_07]: and then going back and doing the bit where it's not

[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_07]: and trying to trick the tricksters didn't work.

[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Big swing, you're not wrong, Brian.

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_07]: The two leads, plenty of chemistry.

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_07]: But this movie, since they're taking a big swing anyway,

[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_07]: they may as well take the biggest swing,

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_07]: which is have the movie set up the prank

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_07]: and then have Brennan and Lacey kind of get so invested

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_07]: in court with it.

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_07]: That's where I was with you.

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_07]: If these two are going back and forth in courts

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_07]: and then having to go home to the same house,

[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_07]: that's quality.

[00:22:09] [SPEAKER_07]: We don't get that.

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_07]: We get a very, just like homework does sometimes,

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_07]: they're like, we're taking a big risk,

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_07]: so let's put our most trusted leads

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_07]: and let's shore up our bets as much as we can.

[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_07]: And that was unfortunate because it doesn't work

[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_07]: nearly as well as it should.

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_07]: Having said that, there are worse homework movies.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't like, three was too high for me.

[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_07]: I shouldn't have ever given this three,

[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_07]: but I don't know, maybe the cream works there.

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_10]: Would you say that this is still one of the best

[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_10]: movies of the year?

[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_10]: Because to me, just doing the ranking last year,

[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_10]: and I'm thinking back to the movies

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_10]: that we had in that real movie territory,

[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_10]: I feel like this is up there kind of in that back end

[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_10]: of the real movie territory.

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_10]: It came out last week or did it come out last week?

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_10]: It came out last week.

[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_07]: So we had eight in every category, right?

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_07]: I would definitely have it in the top two categories.

[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_07]: You're going to-

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_07]: I agree with that.

[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_07]: You would, you would, okay.

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_07]: It's quality movie.

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, okay.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_07]: Quality, some good laughs.

[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know if it'd make top eight, Brian,

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_07]: but I think it would make top 15.

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_10]: Let me pull up that top eight real quick

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_10]: and I'll-

[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_10]: What's the last one there?

[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_10]: I don't remember what the last one is.

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I'll pull it up real quick

[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_10]: while you're talking.

[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_10]: Do you have nothing else to add though?

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_07]: No, that was it.

[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, interesting, okay.

[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_10]: Well, I said, I said why you still,

[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_10]: I'll pull it up while you're-

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_10]: I didn't know.

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_07]: I started as soon as you, you know.

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_07]: You stopped listening?

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I stopped listening

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_07]: as soon as you said you were pulling it up.

[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_10]: Well, that seems unnecessary.

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_07]: I do it from time to time.

[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm sorry, I'm working on it.

[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm trying to get better as a human being,

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_07]: but I'm not perfect.

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_07]: It's not quite working.

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_07]: It is, no, it's working.

[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_07]: Where's it going?

[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_07]: Am I right?

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_10]: It is.

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_10]: June bugs on the back end.

[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_10]: American and Austin, Curious Kidder foiled plans.

[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_07]: I think all those movies are better than his and hers.

[00:23:38] [SPEAKER_10]: Okay.

[00:23:38] [SPEAKER_10]: What about Crimes of Fashion?

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_10]: That's the first one in Big Fun, maybe six.

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_07]: What's the next one in Big Fun, maybe six?

[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_10]: The Truth, Tip Line Mystery.

[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_07]: That was fun.

[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_07]: I think that his and hers is definitely worse

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_07]: than Tip Line Mysteries, but probably next.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Better than Costa Rica?

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_07]: Better than Costa Rica, for sure.

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_07]: So it's in that second category.

[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I think 10 or 11 or 12, somewhere in there.

[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay, okay, okay.

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_07]: I like that.

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_06]: I like it.

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Now we don't have to do a ranking on this one, right?

[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_10]: There's a world though where this movie

[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_10]: is one of the best of the year,

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_10]: and I just think they fumbled it a bit.

[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_10]: They fumbled it a bit.

[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_10]: Do you like my idea?

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_10]: No, I like that a lot.

[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_10]: I think, yes.

[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_10]: Two things could have made this movie a lot better.

[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_10]: One is just a really great courtroom scene,

[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_10]: and we just don't get it.

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_10]: But I love the idea, to your point, Dan,

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_10]: of Lacey and Brennan kind of getting wrapped up

[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_10]: in the case and coming in court and blah, blah, blah.

[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_07]: And us knowing it's a farce.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, us seeing you in it would be fantastic.

[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_10]: And that was gonna be my second thing.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_10]: I agree.

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_10]: I don't think that the big reveal

[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_10]: that it was all fake worked

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_10]: because we, as the viewers,

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_10]: I feel like we would have known it.

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_10]: Yes.

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_10]: Like I saw the guy go up to this girl

[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_10]: in the coffee shop.

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, the acting's too good.

[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_10]: And touch her arm like this

[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_10]: and go, oh my gosh, so smooth.

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_10]: That's a, you were, that's just misleading.

[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_10]: That's misleading the viewer, and that wasn't cut.

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_07]: Also, Hallmark is in a little bit of a pickle here

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_07]: because they are clearly expanding

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_07]: and testing the boundary of what it is

[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_07]: to be a Hallmark movie, and they are better for it.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_07]: But they also have this unwritten agreed-upon contract

[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_07]: with the audience that their leads are trustworthy,

[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_07]: their leads are in the know,

[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_07]: their leads have to have some sort of generic form

[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_07]: or fashion to them.

[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_07]: And those two things, they're doing it.

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_07]: They're expanding slowly.

[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_07]: But I just think that sometimes the swings are like,

[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_07]: for instance, Three Wise Men and a Baby,

[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_07]: really funny set pieces.

[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_07]: The love interest was so unnecessary in that movie,

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_07]: but it was like, well, we've got this movie.

[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_07]: We've gotta throw the love interest in.

[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_07]: And that part didn't work

[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_07]: because Hallmark was still trying to appeal

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_07]: to the Hallmark base.

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_07]: I think sometimes you just gotta have a few of these

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_07]: where you're like, we're not even trying

[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_07]: to appeal to the Hallmark base.

[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_07]: We're trying to do something new.

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_07]: And that would have helped this movie.

[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_10]: So Bethann is saying the fact

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_10]: that they wanted their picture taken

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_10]: before going into the coffee shop

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_10]: so badly shows you that something was up.

[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_10]: And I don't think so.

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_10]: I think they are CED-less celebrities

[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_10]: that are desperate for validation that they are something.

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_10]: I didn't think that was necessarily.

[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_07]: I didn't catch any,

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_07]: the acting was too good by both of them to have had.

[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_07]: Because, and we can get into this in the wait once,

[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_07]: I guess, but the judge isn't in on it.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_07]: Like the two law firms are in on it.

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_10]: Yes, but not initially.

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_07]: They figured it out.

[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_07]: But the judge in the courtroom,

[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_07]: there's a chance if she doesn't ask for a recess,

[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_07]: like what goes down there?

[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_07]: That's a real divorce proceeding.

[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Like at some point they've got to figure out a way.

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, if Lacey, it probably should be the Hallmark,

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_10]: but if Lacey didn't pick up that paper and go,

[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_10]: I need a recess, I need to go talk to her.

[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_10]: We're in trouble.

[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_10]: She's not showing up.

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_10]: And how are they then getting back together?

[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.

[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_10]: For the sake of that reality show.

[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_10]: It's time for all the fields.

[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_06]: We're talking about when this movie gave us fields, Brian.

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Brett Noble not knowing words was a funny bit.

[00:27:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Like that there were some real subtle funnies.

[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_06]: And that was one of them.

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Real subtle funnies.

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_06]: They did it a couple, maybe two or three times.

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_06]: And I really liked that.

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_06]: My real one is just TJ and Gwen.

[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh my gosh.

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh my gosh.

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_06]: Are you kidding me right now?

[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_06]: The two of them, they should have gotten together.

[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_06]: That should have been going on the whole movie.

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_06]: They're great together.

[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_06]: They were a lot of fun.

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_06]: I cared more about them as a couple,

[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_06]: I think than the other couples in the movie.

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_06]: They were so fun.

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_06]: So yeah, that was my fields.

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_10]: I really liked their couch.

[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_10]: When they were sitting on the couch,

[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_10]: I was getting cozy couch feels

[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_10]: and that really worked for me.

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_10]: Listen, there's something about coming home

[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_10]: after a long day to your house

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_10]: and just sitting down on a nice couch.

[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_10]: You should have.

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_10]: It's a wonderful moment.

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_10]: And it's not every day that you look at

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_10]: at a couch and go, oh wow, I'm noticing the couch.

[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_10]: I noticed a couch in this movie.

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_10]: It did look like a couch that I would wanna sit down on

[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_10]: at the end of the long day.

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_10]: And so it worked for me.

[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_10]: You would check with the couch first though, right?

[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_10]: I would check with the couch.

[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes, of course.

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_07]: There are Easter eggs.

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_07]: Hallmark is definitely getting better about Easter eggs.

[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_07]: I would say that this Easter egg in this movie

[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_07]: is the best Easter egg of all time.

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_07]: Lacey Schabar and Brendan Elliott made a name

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_07]: for themselves and being a couple in movies.

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_07]: And then Lacey became someone that went

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_07]: and did these movies with Will Kemp for a long time.

[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_07]: And in this movie where she's back with Brendan Elliott,

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_07]: they have her being briefly married to Will Kemp

[00:28:42] [SPEAKER_07]: and then divorced or the marriage annulled.

[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Fantastic.

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_07]: 10 of 10 from you Hallmark.

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_07]: Better than any of the Tyler Hines or Andrew Walker

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_07]: showing up as a waiter in the other one's movie.

[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_07]: This is it.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_07]: This is how you do this.

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_07]: It's so perfect.

[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_07]: It doesn't take away from the movie.

[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_07]: If you didn't know that,

[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_07]: you would not even recognize that name.

[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Just a little thing, exactly what we needed.

[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_07]: Whoever wrote that into the script, chef's kiss.

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Perfect.

[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_10]: I love my feels is now Dan having feels

[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_10]: about like Hallmark Easter eggs.

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_10]: I love that.

[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Hey man, I'm doing the best I can over here.

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_10]: Look at us, we're about to head into our seventh season

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_10]: and you're over here being like,

[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_10]: I loved it when they called back to that thing

[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_10]: that they did once.

[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_10]: I loved it.

[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm doing the best I can.

[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_07]: You're doing great.

[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_07]: I love that.

[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm progressing as a human being.

[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_07]: You sure are.

[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Better than a couch feels, I think.

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_07]: Couch feels over there.

[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_07]: You and Jay Vance could get a room.

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_07]: Look at, look at.

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_10]: What light on that thing.

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_10]: Look at man, that couch.

[00:29:44] [SPEAKER_10]: Look at that couch is all I'm saying.

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_10]: You didn't notice the couch?

[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_06]: I did, I did.

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_06]: I did notice the couch.

[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_06]: It was a good looking couch.

[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_06]: It was a good looking couch.

[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_06]: That's all we're saying.

[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_06]: Good spray orchids from that couch.

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_06]: We'll be right back.

[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_10]: Welcome back everybody.

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_10]: We're talking his and hers, the first fall.

[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_10]: My phone is transcribing what I'm saying.

[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_10]: I told you not to bother me.

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_10]: Hey Siri.

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_10]: It says I did couch.

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you did.

[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_10]: Oh no.

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_10]: Oh no.

[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_10]: We're talking about his and hers,

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_10]: the first fall movie of the year.

[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_10]: Couldn't be more fall.

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_10]: I don't know what you guys are talking about.

[00:30:29] [SPEAKER_10]: So I'm gonna wait while I talk about what

[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_10]: in this movie is going on.

[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_10]: And I will start with you, Brian.

[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, the anniversary gifts, gifts, just kept coming.

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_06]: It was like they do like an anniversary month.

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_07]: They say, I will say this, Brian.

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't want to take this away from you.

[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_07]: They do say we're doing a seven day celebration.

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, they did say that?

[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_07]: In the, in the first scene,

[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_07]: they slip it in there to make that make sense.

[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_07]: Even though I think it's been longer than seven days

[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_07]: for this trial,

[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_07]: but they say we're celebrating one day for every year.

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_06]: That makes sense.

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_06]: But also a slippery slope.

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no, that's it.

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Don't set that precedent.

[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_07]: My wife and I just celebrated

[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_07]: our 18th wedding anniversary on Monday.

[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_07]: 18 days.

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_07]: I can't, I don't, I own my own business.

[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't have that kind of vacation time.

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_07]: But that's, that's a lot.

[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, you draw.

[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't have that much money either.

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Maybe, maybe switch to hours at some point.

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, exactly.

[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_10]: But it's not like they, like he got her socks one day.

[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_10]: Like it's not like they're over here like a lab.

[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_10]: Correct.

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_10]: Like, Hey, here's a,

[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_10]: But 18 gifts?

[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_10]: No, it's a lot for sure.

[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_10]: Or as Brian would say, gifts.

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_10]: No, I think you could, you,

[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_06]: but that's part of the challenge is finding a gift.

[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_06]: I guess all those days.

[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_06]: Super challenging.

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Another one I had was Dana's assistant ended up

[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_06]: in the restaurant, like sneaking around

[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_06]: in that restaurant,

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_06]: like going up to the table in that restaurant

[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_06]: where Luca supposedly has his finger on the pulse

[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_06]: full of connections all over the town,

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_06]: but can't keep control over his restaurant.

[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_06]: Like you shouldn't have people sneaking

[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_06]: around your restaurant a little more,

[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_06]: tighten up the security a little bit there.

[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Letting the drama get to court.

[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_06]: I feel like this is almost what the hallmark for me.

[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_06]: Like, I feel like that's illegal at some point.

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes.

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_06]: There is a line where you're in front of a judge

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_06]: and you're just lying.

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_06]: Like you're making up everything you're doing.

[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Total false pretenses.

[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know.

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what the crime is there.

[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Maybe that judge was like an actor.

[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Maybe it was a whole setup.

[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_06]: I hope it was for the sake of them,

[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_06]: but it just feels like too big of a problem

[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_06]: to not address it.

[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Like I wish it were explained more

[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_06]: because I just feel like you can't,

[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_06]: you shouldn't be able to do that.

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_06]: And how did they get onto that TV show in a day

[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_06]: immediately turned around their appearance on that TV show?

[00:32:44] [SPEAKER_07]: If you were trying, to your point,

[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_07]: if you were trying to turn this into launching

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_07]: a TV show and you wanted it to seem real

[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_07]: so that your show seems real,

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_07]: you wouldn't launch that the day

[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_07]: that you decided to not get divorced in court.

[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_10]: Is that what you're talking about?

[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_10]: That show?

[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, their relationship show.

[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_10]: That was the giveaway for them.

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_10]: Like clearly the promo was recorded ahead of time.

[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but they got onto the show live.

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_07]: But they launched it the night that this happens.

[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_07]: Why in the world would these two people

[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_07]: who have staged this elaborate scam basically

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_07]: launch that, if you launch that television program

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_07]: the night that you do that,

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_07]: any credibility you think you have is lost.

[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_07]: If the whole purpose of this

[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_07]: is to establish credibility,

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_07]: they're like, hey, we almost got divorced.

[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_07]: We should be couples therapists.

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Why launch the show the day that it happened?

[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_07]: You would wait.

[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_07]: It was a day off.

[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you'll think it was a day off.

[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_10]: Because they watched the commercial,

[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_10]: they had the realization the next day

[00:33:44] [SPEAKER_10]: they go in and talk to their bosses.

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_10]: That's true.

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_07]: But like when they're sitting down,

[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm pretty sure there's a reference

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_07]: or something to like, man, what a day.

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_07]: Like we just like.

[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_10]: Oh maybe.

[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_10]: I mean, it definitely wasn't.

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_10]: It definitely was.

[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_10]: Cause they were watching TV that night.

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_10]: They see the commercial.

[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_10]: They have the realization it was all live.

[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_07]: I thought it was the same day.

[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_10]: The next day they go in and they talk to their bosses.

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_07]: But I thought that evening

[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_07]: was the evening after the courtroom.

[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_07]: That's what I thought for that.

[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_10]: But it would have been the following evening.

[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_07]: I thought that the evening that they're on the couch

[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_07]: happened right after court during that day.

[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Yes.

[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_06]: And so the commercial aired that night.

[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_06]: The commercial aired that night.

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes.

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_07]: Why would they, if you're the two people

[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_07]: trying to create some sort of credibility

[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_07]: as a couples therapist, why would you release.

[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_10]: Oh I don't think they're worried about

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_10]: about whether or not they.

[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_07]: Then why'd they do it?

[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_07]: Why'd they do the whole scam?

[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_07]: The whole.

[00:34:32] [SPEAKER_10]: To get to because they were, they were floundering.

[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_07]: They were barely celebrities.

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes. They wanted to get notoriety

[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_07]: for almost getting divorced and staying together

[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_07]: so they could launch their couples therapy show.

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_07]: So why do, why launch it the night that this happens?

[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_07]: Stuff moves quick.

[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh no I say you at least give them a chance to be like,

[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_07]: hey they worked this out, they're back in the news.

[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_07]: You pump that up for a week or two

[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_07]: and then you announce, oh we're gonna do this thing.

[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Cause what, but if you release that commercial that night

[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_07]: you're basically saying this was a scam.

[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_07]: We never, we never even.

[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_10]: Sure it does seem fishy.

[00:35:04] [SPEAKER_10]: Yes.

[00:35:04] [SPEAKER_10]: It does seem fishy.

[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.

[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_10]: Is there anything else?

[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_10]: No that's all.

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_10]: One of the gifts, I think it's the first gift

[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_10]: that we give.

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_10]: One of the first gifts is a copper pot to make popcorn in.

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_10]: And he says, I've always wanted a copper pot

[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_10]: to make you popcorn in.

[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_10]: I mean like get it.

[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_08]: Like look at your house.

[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_08]: You guys are both lawyers.

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_08]: Look at your couch.

[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_08]: You can get a copper pot, go out and buy it.

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_08]: You live in Manhattan.

[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_10]: You have a multi store.

[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_10]: He says I've always wanted a copper pot.

[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_10]: What's stopping you, Brendan Elliott?

[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_10]: What's stopping you from going out?

[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_10]: They are expensive.

[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_06]: You get $33 for one that looks like what he got.

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I'm just saying.

[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you could do that.

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_10]: Just go get it.

[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_10]: You can do it.

[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_10]: You can do it.

[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_10]: Shout out to Whirly Pop too.

[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_07]: Best popcorn maker there is.

[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_10]: Whirly Pop.

[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_10]: Speaking of gifts, she gives him

[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_10]: a limited edition top of the line fidget spinner.

[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_07]: His word's not yours.

[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_07]: No that's what he says.

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Limited edition top of the line.

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_10]: And like first of all, it doesn't seem

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_10]: like a good fidget spinner.

[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_10]: Like part of the fun of fidget spinners is spinning it

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_10]: and seeing how long it lasts

[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_10]: and then you can kind of keep doing it.

[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_10]: This was like a, you do it once

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_10]: and it goes for like a second.

[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_10]: It's got, it looks like it's made of copper too.

[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_10]: Maybe he has a copper thing.

[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_10]: He has a copper thing.

[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_10]: But it doesn't spin for very long.

[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_06]: He's not allowed to buy copper stuff anymore.

[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_10]: It doesn't spin for very long.

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_10]: I don't think this would be a good fidget spinner.

[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_10]: Maybe it's just me.

[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_10]: Maybe, maybe I don't know what

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_10]: the top of the line fidget spinners are like.

[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_10]: Maybe that's part of their charm.

[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.

[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_06]: It's a world you're not exposed to.

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_10]: Last but not least, I didn't think I'd ever see the day

[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_10]: where Lacey Shebert on the Homework Channel

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_10]: would use Vietnam as a punchline.

[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_10]: Oh my gosh.

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_10]: But she did in this movie.

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_10]: There's a little bit of a nom joke

[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_10]: and I just didn't,

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_10]: I didn't think we'd ever see that day.

[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_10]: That sweet Lacey Shebert on Sweet Homework Channel

[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_10]: would make Vietnam the punchline of a joke.

[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_10]: But here we are.

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Basically also calling this dog

[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_07]: that doesn't exist a Vietnam veteran,

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_07]: which is the wildest.

[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_07]: I just, I mean look, it was a long time ago.

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm sure people, it just, it was the.

[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_10]: It's not that I thought the joke was out of bounds.

[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_10]: I just.

[00:37:18] [SPEAKER_10]: Lacey Shebert on the Homework Channel.

[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_10]: Queen of Christmas.

[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I just didn't, I didn't think I'd ever see the day.

[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_10]: But you know what?

[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_10]: She's got that new Netflix movie coming out.

[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_10]: Maybe Netflix.

[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_10]: She's doing her own thing.

[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_10]: Netflix has rubbed off on her.

[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_10]: I don't know what to say.

[00:37:28] [SPEAKER_10]: It's just, and it's not my Lacey.

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_07]: Dana?

[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_07]: The tough part about setting a show

[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_07]: or a movie like this in New York City

[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_07]: is you really need the background actors

[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_07]: to be able to talk.

[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't even remember if I've been in New York City,

[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_07]: but it's loud.

[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_07]: And you also can't just walk a street

[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_07]: like they walk a street.

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_07]: It's the quietest New York people of all time.

[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_07]: At one point, Lacey is following Brennan

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_07]: and she just takes a book out of a guy's hand.

[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_07]: And he doesn't say a word.

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_07]: He's not like, hey, what are you doing?

[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_07]: Give that back.

[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_07]: Who are you?

[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_07]: He stays completely quiet.

[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_06]: What is this, Vietnam?

[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's right.

[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, exactly.

[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_07]: He doesn't say anything

[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_07]: and it really does take you out of the movie

[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_07]: when no one on the street is allowed to say anything

[00:38:11] [SPEAKER_07]: and they establish the heck out of the fact

[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_07]: that it's Manhattan.

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_07]: That makes it tough.

[00:38:15] [SPEAKER_07]: Lacey's uncle who's also the owner of the firm

[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_07]: shows up with two plants in his hand

[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_07]: and he says, which one of these should we go with?

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_07]: The orchids or the flowers?

[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know much about flowers.

[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_07]: I can't say that I could pick an orchid out of a lineup

[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_07]: but I can say this is if you're gonna say

[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_07]: which one should we go with and you say the orchids

[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_07]: then you should probably know the type of flower.

[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_07]: The other one is,

[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_07]: so you could just actually use both names.

[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_07]: We could go the orchids or we could go with the flowers.

[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_07]: That's right.

[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_07]: Whatever tulips, calla lilies.

[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Pussy willows.

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.

[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_07]: Is that right, Brandon?

[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_07]: Pussy willows, is that correct?

[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_07]: That's correct.

[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_07]: Okay, good, I'm glad we did it.

[00:38:59] [SPEAKER_07]: At one point someone, I believe it's Tabby says

[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Tabby. Tabby.

[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm Tabby.

[00:39:05] [SPEAKER_07]: That Brett went to Vegas and sports gambled.

[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_07]: That is a sentence said by someone that is a robot.

[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_07]: That is not, that was,

[00:39:15] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm not saying AI wrote this movie.

[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm sure someone actually worked really,

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_07]: really hard on this movie but no one goes,

[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_07]: oh, well he went to Vegas and sports gambled.

[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_07]: Why would you say that like that?

[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't, that isn't, he just gambled?

[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_07]: He went to Vegas, probably covers it?

[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_07]: We're kind of gambling, sports gambling.

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_07]: The worst.

[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_07]: The worst of the gambling.

[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, the worst kind.

[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_07]: And then lastly,

[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_07]: I just feel like

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_07]: the lack of tension between the two leads

[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_07]: was so noticeable for two lawyers

[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_07]: that are presumably at the top of their game

[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_07]: wanting to make sure their client wins.

[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_07]: The fact that they're not more at odds with each other

[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_07]: even like while still going home

[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_07]: to the same house every night,

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_07]: the fact that that's not played

[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_07]: for either laughs or tension

[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_07]: or that we get any resolution.

[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_07]: I would have rather had the thing

[00:40:12] [SPEAKER_07]: like had us know about this game at the beginning

[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_07]: or have it be real

[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_07]: and thus have an actual winner and loser.

[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_07]: I think instead we got neither of those fun options

[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_07]: and it just made this movie kind of just there.

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_07]: And that's unfortunate.

[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_10]: You said it, Dan, it's time for what?

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_10]: The hallmark is where we wonder

[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_10]: what could have been maybe happened.

[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_10]: Give some clarity to any questions

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_10]: that we're still poking our little minds at

[00:40:33] [SPEAKER_10]: and those new around the old noodle.

[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Brian.

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, mine was very vague,

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_06]: but you, Dan, you put it into words

[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_06]: that like really nailed it down for me.

[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_06]: My question was like,

[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_06]: why is everybody lying to them about this?

[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_06]: And it was that that's what was missing.

[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_06]: It was them not knowing about it

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_06]: and being not in on it, but us being in on it.

[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_06]: And so that-

[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_07]: Sometimes there's fun in the audience being omniscient.

[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_06]: There is fun in that.

[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_06]: That would create so much more awkward,

[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_06]: like a fun, yeah, more awkwardness for between them

[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_06]: that was safe because we know it's all like a big thing

[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_06]: that they just don't know yet.

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_06]: And so, yeah, like that's,

[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_06]: I feel like that is a key thing that was missing

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_06]: and I couldn't figure it out the whole time

[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_06]: I was watching, but it just felt like something was missing.

[00:41:17] [SPEAKER_06]: And that's that would have been really, really nice.

[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_10]: Or I mean, listen, we've seen a lot of mysteries

[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_10]: on the Hallmark channel and they're never this good.

[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_10]: No, they're never this good at keeping information

[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_10]: in the vest.

[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_10]: Maybe this would have been a great opportunity

[00:41:30] [SPEAKER_10]: for Hallmark to do what they typically do

[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_10]: and show all their hands.

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_10]: But instead, this time they're walking around like this.

[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_10]: Yep. Hands are hidden.

[00:41:39] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah. But file it on TV such DTH.

[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_10]: You don't know what I'm talking about

[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_10]: if you're just listening.

[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_10]: That's right.

[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_07]: Brandy, no hands.

[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_10]: But I got no hands.

[00:41:47] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm just saying that if you're gonna keep it from us,

[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_07]: give us some cookie crumbs along the way

[00:41:52] [SPEAKER_07]: that make it possible to solve or let us in on it.

[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_07]: I like to let us in on it better.

[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_07]: Same.

[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_07]: But that's what I would say.

[00:41:57] Right, right, right.

[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_10]: We talked a little bit about, you know,

[00:42:00] [SPEAKER_10]: Dan's feels was like the little...

[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, Easter egg.

[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_10]: Little Easter egg.

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_10]: There's also the,

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_10]: she was doing a crossword puzzle at one point.

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_10]: Like, will Kim's name is mentioned?

[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_10]: Like how much of that was script?

[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_10]: How much of that was Brennan and Lacey

[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_10]: trying to tip their own hats at the old audience

[00:42:22] [SPEAKER_10]: and say, tip their own hats.

[00:42:24] [SPEAKER_09]: Hello there.

[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_10]: Whose idea was it to have Lacey doing a crossword puzzle?

[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_10]: Like stuff like that,

[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_10]: that's like a really,

[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_10]: like if you know, you know type thing.

[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_10]: Inside sports, inside baseball, inside dodgeball.

[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_10]: Inside dodgeball.

[00:42:41] [SPEAKER_10]: Whose idea was it to hand Lacey that dodgeball

[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_10]: and say, hey, go for it pal.

[00:42:45] [SPEAKER_10]: Was it Brennan and Lacey?

[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_10]: Cause I can see Brennan and Lacey kind of being like,

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_10]: what if we do some little things like that?

[00:42:52] [SPEAKER_10]: And if they're being their idea.

[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_10]: But this movie also like has,

[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_10]: I felt like the script was pretty decent.

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_10]: So like how much of it was just in the script

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_10]: because you know, that's what homework wanted.

[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_10]: I don't know.

[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_10]: It's a good question.

[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you just called them heads in your question.

[00:43:05] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's a good question.

[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_10]: Good question.

[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_10]: Please clap.

[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_09]: Good question, please clap.

[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_09]: Please clap.

[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, there we go.

[00:43:11] [SPEAKER_07]: Good question, Brett.

[00:43:12] [SPEAKER_07]: Good question.

[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_07]: Sure is.

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_07]: I have two.

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_07]: One of mine is, is I just want to know the ratings,

[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_07]: the TV ratings for this movie, the viewer ratings,

[00:43:18] [SPEAKER_07]: because Brennan and Lacey tend to have good ratings.

[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_07]: I'm interested versus-

[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_07]: Hey, good question.

[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_07]: Good question.

[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, but my bigger one is,

[00:43:25] [SPEAKER_07]: is what in the world is going on with Nori chips?

[00:43:27] [SPEAKER_07]: They decide that that is their go-to in this movie

[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_07]: for a joke.

[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_07]: If you are high maintenance,

[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_07]: then you are going to ask for Nori chips.

[00:43:37] [SPEAKER_07]: When it happens once, it's like, all right, that's funny.

[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_07]: And then it is brought up, I think three or four times

[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_07]: throughout the movie.

[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't get it.

[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't understand why Nori chips makes you-

[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_10]: Is that a real brand?

[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_07]: No, it's a type of, it's seaweed chips.

[00:43:51] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, it's seaweed chips.

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Yes.

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Gross.

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_07]: Nori is a, yeah, it's an actual food.

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know why, like people eat Nori chips

[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_07]: that aren't high, I don't get it.

[00:43:59] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, especially in New York City.

[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_10]: Well, you as an uppity up,

[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_10]: you wouldn't think that it's an uppity up.

[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_07]: Well, here's my thing is-

[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_04]: It's like, it's not uppity up.

[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_07]: If you want to establish that it's uppity up,

[00:44:10] [SPEAKER_07]: that's fine, but the fact that that is the signifier

[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_07]: for uppity up is weird in this movie

[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_07]: when Brennan and Lacey live in a two story

[00:44:20] [SPEAKER_07]: Manhattan apartment-

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_10]: Can afford a copper pan.

[00:44:23] [SPEAKER_07]: And order bulgogi tacos, a Mexican Asian fusion.

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_07]: And then they're going to talk Nori chips,

[00:44:28] [SPEAKER_07]: like you can't go to the grocery store

[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_07]: and just buy those whenever you want.

[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_07]: Like that's my thing is if they are like, you know,

[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_07]: living in the middle of Nebraska,

[00:44:37] [SPEAKER_07]: okay, then Nori, that's a fun bit.

[00:44:39] [SPEAKER_07]: They're not, they are living in a place

[00:44:41] [SPEAKER_07]: where that would be a very common thing to have.

[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_07]: And they are acting like it's the new gluten-free.

[00:44:47] [SPEAKER_07]: Like Hallmark's gluten-free in the 2010s is now like,

[00:44:50] [SPEAKER_07]: hey, what if we say Nori chips

[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_07]: anytime there's somebody high maintenance in the room?

[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_07]: I just didn't get it.

[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_07]: It's new gluten-free.

[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.

[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_10]: We did everybody a congratulation.

[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, we did.

[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_10]: One fall movie in the books.

[00:45:00] [SPEAKER_10]: You can write it down.

[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_10]: Write it down and send it to you,

[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you can send it to your Senator if you want to.

[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_10]: Hey, there was a one fall movie we saw and we did it.

[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_10]: We talked about it.

[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_10]: In the books.

[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_10]: It's time for double decker of the week

[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_10]: is where we dive deep into the life of a double decker

[00:45:14] [SPEAKER_10]: that signed up for the double decker tier

[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_10]: or higher at bramblejamplus.com.

[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_10]: That gets you ad free podcasting.

[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_10]: It gets you wonderful Facebook community.

[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_10]: Maybe even Yo Gavel Gavel.

[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_10]: Maybe even Yo Gavel Gavel.

[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_10]: Maybe even so much more.

[00:45:30] [SPEAKER_10]: Maybe even if you're at the all access tier,

[00:45:32] [SPEAKER_10]: take it to the tapes for free.

[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Who do we have?

[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_07]: We have Elizabeth Jenkins, Elizabeth Jenkins this week.

[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh nice.

[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Lee Roy Jenkins.

[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Lee Roy Jenkins, no, Elizabeth.

[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_06]: Lizbeth Jenkins.

[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Elizabeth Jenkins, a phenomenal double decker.

[00:45:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Doing, I feel like a great service.

[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:45:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Elizabeth out there doing a great service.

[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Messenger Pigeons, not the only bird in town anymore

[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_06]: delivering stuff.

[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_06]: I don't know if you heard about this.

[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_06]: You have drones, you heard about drones.

[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_06]: I've heard about the drones.

[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Elizabeth's like, huh?

[00:46:08] [SPEAKER_06]: Like in a very environmentally safe way,

[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_06]: like why don't we use what we already have?

[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's train up some birds to make some deliveries.

[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_06]: That's a good idea,

[00:46:16] [SPEAKER_08]: because people have been trying to figure out

[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_08]: the drone thing for a while

[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_08]: and they haven't been able to crack it yet.

[00:46:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, this is a good idea.

[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm excited about this.

[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, she's been working with different birds

[00:46:26] [SPEAKER_06]: to train them.

[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_06]: She's been working with different birds.

[00:46:29] [SPEAKER_07]: Is there a certain bird that works better

[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_07]: than another bird?

[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_06]: You don't want like a chickadee picking up your Applebee.

[00:46:36] [SPEAKER_06]: A chickadee is not gonna be able to carry it.

[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Like crows, a great delivery bird.

[00:46:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Crow would be fantastic.

[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_06]: Crow to go.

[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_06]: Crow to go.

[00:46:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Hey, Elizabeth, write that one down.

[00:46:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Wow.

[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Like you might say-

[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Is e-crow anything?

[00:46:48] [SPEAKER_06]: No, Brian, come on.

[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_06]: We're not talking about that here.

[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_06]: No, it's just like e-crow,

[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_10]: it's the crow that's bringing you your food.

[00:46:54] [SPEAKER_10]: Again, I'm just throwing out idea for names.

[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_06]: I feel like the crows would have an issue with that.

[00:46:58] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay, I thought that's what we were doing.

[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_06]: You could send like a hawk to a store.

[00:47:01] [SPEAKER_06]: You can send a hawk to pick up your laundry.

[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_06]: You could send like a bunch of chickadees together.

[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_06]: Right?

[00:47:08] [SPEAKER_06]: So what's the name of the business again?

[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_06]: This is Wing Ding Dong.

[00:47:12] Okay.

[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Wing Ding Dong.

[00:47:15] [SPEAKER_07]: This is gonna get, okay.

[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_07]: Wing Ding Dong?

[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_07]: So what does that mean?

[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_07]: Wing Ding Dong.

[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_06]: It doesn't have anything to do with hawks.

[00:47:25] [SPEAKER_06]: All types of birds are involved in this.

[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_06]: The only thing that you can't,

[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_06]: they won't pick up eggs is one thing.

[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_06]: They will not go get your eggs at the grocery store

[00:47:34] [SPEAKER_06]: because they just have like a thing with the chickens,

[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_06]: they're in it together,

[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_06]: just supporting their brothers and sisters.

[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_06]: And it's called Wing Ding Dong.

[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_06]: Wing Ding Dong.

[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Did they focus group it?

[00:47:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Elizabeth? The title?

[00:47:47] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, your crow to go is much better.

[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_06]: Crow to go is much better.

[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_06]: So I feel like a little bit of work could be done.

[00:47:54] [SPEAKER_06]: I feel like e-crow is pretty good too.

[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Just the connotation.

[00:47:58] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean Elizabeth's got a little work to do.

[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, I got in on this information at the early stages

[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_06]: so like I was kind of poking around at the data

[00:48:05] [SPEAKER_06]: before it's ready.

[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_10]: Why did you mention, so what are the,

[00:48:08] [SPEAKER_10]: how many different birds are there?

[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_10]: Any type of bird.

[00:48:10] [SPEAKER_10]: With crow, there's hawk.

[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_06]: He's in the hawk, he's in the hawk.

[00:48:14] [SPEAKER_06]: Falcons are out there.

[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Falcons.

[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Even the smaller birds.

[00:48:18] [SPEAKER_06]: An eagle?

[00:48:20] [SPEAKER_06]: For a certain price point, you can get an eagle.

[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_06]: You can get an eagle.

[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_06]: So you're paying.

[00:48:24] [SPEAKER_06]: You pay for the bird?

[00:48:26] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh yeah.

[00:48:26] [SPEAKER_10]: So how much does it cost to get a hawk to be a bird?

[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_10]: Hawk to a store?

[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_06]: How much does that cost?

[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_06]: It's like 200.

[00:48:34] [SPEAKER_06]: 200?

[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_06]: Probably is what the numbers I'm seeing.

[00:48:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Crows, a little more affordable.

[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_06]: Hawks are.

[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Crow to go is a little more affordable than it.

[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_06]: Crows are a little more affordable.

[00:48:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Hawks are busy.

[00:48:44] [SPEAKER_06]: They're out there getting after it.

[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_10]: You can't do a bald eagle though, right?

[00:48:47] [SPEAKER_06]: There's no way.

[00:48:47] [SPEAKER_06]: There is a price point for every bird.

[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_06]: There shouldn't be.

[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_06]: There shouldn't be.

[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_06]: They're even working on pterodactyls.

[00:48:53] [SPEAKER_06]: Pterodactyls aren't, they don't exist anymore.

[00:48:55] [SPEAKER_06]: It's a dinosaur bird.

[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_06]: It's a dinosaur bird.

[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_06]: They're bringing it back.

[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_06]: Wow.

[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_06]: What's it called again?

[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_10]: Wing ding dong.

[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_07]: Wing ding dong is what we're going for.

[00:49:04] [SPEAKER_10]: I was real nervous and I'm still not totally on board

[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_10]: but I'm less nervous.

[00:49:10] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.

[00:49:10] [SPEAKER_10]: Okay, we're still a little bit nervous.

[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_10]: Still a little bit nervous.

[00:49:13] [SPEAKER_10]: I feel pretty good about it.

[00:49:14] [SPEAKER_10]: Okay.

[00:49:15] [SPEAKER_07]: This is as good as we could have done.

[00:49:16] [SPEAKER_07]: You've tried it?

[00:49:17] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah.

[00:49:19] [SPEAKER_06]: And it works?

[00:49:20] [SPEAKER_06]: The thing, I left, I didn't,

[00:49:22] [SPEAKER_06]: I left my window down and just right into the window.

[00:49:25] [SPEAKER_06]: So I had to get like a...

[00:49:26] [SPEAKER_06]: I thought you said you left it down.

[00:49:27] [SPEAKER_06]: I left the window shut.

[00:49:28] [SPEAKER_06]: And so right into the glass.

[00:49:30] [SPEAKER_06]: So your window wasn't open.

[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_06]: You gotta keep your window open for the bird to fly in.

[00:49:33] [SPEAKER_07]: The bird's gonna fly into your house.

[00:49:35] [SPEAKER_06]: You said I left my window down

[00:49:37] [SPEAKER_06]: and I thought you were talking about your car.

[00:49:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh no, no, no.

[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_06]: In my house.

[00:49:40] [SPEAKER_06]: You left it closed.

[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_06]: The store window shut.

[00:49:42] [SPEAKER_06]: So they just, wham, right into the glass.

[00:49:44] [SPEAKER_06]: So did the bird bird die?

[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Well, Elizabeth shows up pretty quick to clean up that.

[00:49:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Situation.

[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_06]: So I don't know what happened.

[00:49:51] [SPEAKER_06]: I assume there's like a little bird CPR.

[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_06]: It's a one person operation.

[00:49:55] [SPEAKER_05]: Bum ba da bum ba bum bum bum bum.

[00:49:57] [SPEAKER_05]: Bum ba da bum ba da bum bum bum bum bum bum.

[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_05]: Bum ba da bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum.

[00:50:09] Tweet tweet.

[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_09]: Tweet tweet tweet.

[00:50:12] [SPEAKER_09]: Tweet tweet.

[00:50:13] [SPEAKER_09]: Tweet tweet.

[00:50:16] Yep.

[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_10]: That was a commercial.

[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_10]: That was a good one.

[00:50:19] [SPEAKER_10]: I'm being told that was a commercial.

[00:50:21] [SPEAKER_10]: All the money went into the bird training.

[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_10]: Clear.

[00:50:24] [SPEAKER_10]: We did it everybody, congratulations.

[00:50:26] [SPEAKER_10]: Why'd you say you're not gonna do anything?

[00:50:29] [SPEAKER_10]: What does that mean?

[00:50:30] [SPEAKER_07]: I just said maybe it was in the recording.

[00:50:32] [SPEAKER_07]: I don't know who that was in the recording.

[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_07]: It was weird.

[00:50:34] [SPEAKER_07]: There's somebody that said I'm not gonna do anything grand.

[00:50:36] [SPEAKER_07]: Oh no.

[00:50:37] [SPEAKER_07]: And I wasn't doing anything.

[00:50:38] [SPEAKER_07]: You weren't doing anything.

[00:50:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't doing anything.

[00:50:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what happened there.

[00:50:41] [SPEAKER_04]: That was the commercial.

[00:50:42] [SPEAKER_04]: That's weird.

[00:50:42] [SPEAKER_04]: They would air that commercial.

[00:50:46] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.

[00:50:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe I'm nervous now.

[00:50:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum.

[00:51:01] [SPEAKER_10]: He heard that?

[00:51:03] [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, oh no.

[00:51:05] [SPEAKER_10]: We're back tomorrow with one of the new,

[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_10]: I think it's Jane mystery on Wednesday.

[00:51:13] [SPEAKER_10]: Dune Bay on Thursday.

[00:51:16] [SPEAKER_10]: And then a double dose of chicken sister,

[00:51:19] [SPEAKER_10]: a double dose of chicken sister on Friday.

[00:51:24] [SPEAKER_10]: We'll be back then until then.

[00:51:26] [SPEAKER_10]: May the first wish you a Merry Christmas.
