[00:00:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Hi, I'm Brandon, I love Hallmark Christmas movies. Hi, I'm Jax and I like Hallmark Christmas movies. Oh, I really want to do a voice like yours, but I can't. I'm Patrick and I like Christmas movies too. Wow. Brian, I'm here because I am the one who likes the Christmas movies. Brian, you got something to say? Back to you, Ryan. I think you're lashing out irrationally, Bri. I'm Alonso and here we are talking about Hallmark Christmas movies.

[00:00:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark Christmas movies and this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast. Deck The Hallmark gets this podcast. My friends host this podcast. We hope you like this jolly podcast. Another episode of Deck The Hallmark, reviewing the second new Hallmark Christmas movie with holiday season. It is also the final thing we're doing during the marathon.

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_04]: We're in hour 29 right now, Brian. That's right, man. 29. 29. 28. What is it? 20. We started at 6, so we've been 4 hours and 12 minutes more. We're in the 29th hour. How about that? How about that? You love to see it. You love to see it. It's been a lot of fun. What's been your favorite part, Bri? You know, I was just thinking about this. My favorite part, probably the most exhilarating part, is when Martin freaking the spreadsheets, Linthal, comes in with an update. Oh, yeah.

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_04]: He runs in and we don't know what's going to happen. Let me just get you up to speed, Brian. We've been raising money for beloved Asheville, Hurricane Haleem, Survivors.

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Woo-hoo-hoo! And the double-deckers have come through huge in a way we never even thought possible. There were blitzes. There were exhortations. There were spoken words. There were acoustic guitars.

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_04]: And so far, with a few minutes left in our marathon, we're over $26,000.

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow!

[00:02:16] [SPEAKER_04]: If you're watching live, you can still donate until the end of this episode. We're going to come in as close as we can with a total. At the end of this episode, we're going to say Merry Christmas, and we're going to be done with this thing.

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_04]: And it couldn't have been done without all the wonderful co-hosts of Deck the Hallmark. Patrick, Jax, Brian, Ryan, Alonzo. Couldn't have been done without them. Couldn't have been done without producer extraordinaire Aaron Shea.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Couldn't have been done without our amazing support staff, Sheila, Elizabeth, Martin, and Langley, who've been here the whole time.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Couldn't have been done without the Oak View Inn.

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes!

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_04]: True.

[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Who's been an amazing, amazing partner for this. Gave us a discount. This place has been amazing. We'd love to do it again here next year.

[00:03:00] [SPEAKER_04]: It's been quite an adventure brand, and we're better for it.

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_03]: We sure are, Dan-O. And you might be wondering, if you're listening to this on a Tuesday, boy, it sounds like I missed out.

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_03]: You did.

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_03]: You did. But one thing you didn't miss out on is our new card game that we are releasing alongside Think and Think Games. It's called Christmas Movie Magic.

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And it is officially on sale. It's going to be, I think, going out starting October 28th. So we're very excited about that. So stay tuned. More info on that.

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Great stocking stuff.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_03]: But it's a fantastic game, and we're really excited about that. We're really excited to partner with Greenville. Visit Greenville again this year as our location sponsor. Dan, there's nowhere else we'd rather be recording this show.

[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_03]: A lot of people say, why don't you go to, like, L.A. with the big wigs and stuff. And we say, L.A. schmelay.

[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. It's nothing. No offense. I love it. It's nothing. It's nothing on. Yeah, that Greenville. We love it.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Sounds like someone's taken. And I think everyone would agree there's something magical about the city of Greenville around the holiday season.

[00:04:04] [SPEAKER_03]: We'd love for you to come and check it out. You got the ice skating rinks that will be popping up soon. The parade that's happening in December.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_03]: So many reasons to check it out. It's so much fun.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_03]: And one last thing. I know you wanted to talk about this, so I'll let you do it. But you wanted to talk about Philo and how much it means to you. So go ahead.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Talk about Philo. The holiday hub is basically the two main words that we can circle this around.

[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_01]: The movie hub. Yeah, you could even say it's the holiday movie hub. So many channels, so many movies. Save your movies on the DVR. Get them all year.

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_01]: But what if I run out of space? I don't think that's going to happen, Brad. You can't. I don't think it's possible.

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Really? It's unlimited. Tammy Philo says it's not going to happen. That's a guarantee.

[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, you want Philo. You want Philo. And you watch Deck the Hallmark on Philo.

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right. You can watch all the movies that we're talking about. You can also watch all the episodes of Deck the Hallmark all in one nice central place.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_03]: By the dot TV slash DTH to get started today. It's going to be a lot of fun.

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk about the movie that we're here to talk about. We are talking about the Christmas Crashers.

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_03]: The holiday crashers, maybe even.

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_04]: That was a Christmas crash right there.

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_08]: No, but they did call themselves Christmas Crashers, so I understand why you're saying that.

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_04]: That was the original title.

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Holiday Crashers.

[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Holiday Crashers is what we're talking about today.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_03]: This just in.

[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Shall I synopsisize it?

[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Please synopsisize it.

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_03]: It originally premiered on October 19th, 2024.

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_03]: A little late if you ask me, and it went a little something like this.

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_03]: The movie kicks off with some shoo-ba-doo-ba.

[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_03]: We're in a card shop similar, like think about a Hallmark shop, but it's not a Hallmark shop.

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_03]: It's totally different.

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_03]: It's custom printing.

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.

[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_03]: It's custom printing.

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_03]: And we meet best friends Tony and Bree.

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_03]: They have been best friends forever, and they also work at the same place.

[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_03]: They've worked there for a while now.

[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_03]: So at this shop, they make custom party invitations.

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_03]: They print them the Christmas cards, all that good stuff.

[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_03]: And in one case, they have to deliver these Christmas invitations to a house that's having a party at that time.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_03]: They mingle there.

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Some might say a little too long.

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_03]: They're on the job.

[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_03]: And Bree bumps into this one guy, and they're like, who are you?

[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Who are you?

[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_03]: And that's it.

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Who does?

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_03]: There are sparks.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_03]: And then she gets the heck out of there.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_03]: But they both are like, that was pretty fun.

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe we should go to more parties.

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_03]: She goes to visit her dad, who is a lawyer.

[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_03]: He's the type of lawyer that has, like, songs in his commercials.

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_03]: You know the type.

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_03]: And benches and whatnot.

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_03]: And Tony was actually almost a lawyer.

[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_03]: She graduated from law school, didn't bar that sucker, though.

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_03]: So she's not actually a lawyer.

[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_03]: But she's just taking a pause, she says.

[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_03]: But she's kind of floundering a little bit, much to her father's chagrin.

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_03]: She's kind of in her feels that night, though.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And Bree is like, well, what if we go to another party?

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_03]: She shows her this invitation to a fancy party the next night that she had.

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_03]: She found the invitation at work.

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_03]: And so they decide to go for it.

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_03]: And they are immediately greeted by the owner of the house.

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_03]: You think that might be problematic.

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not.

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_03]: They lie about who they are.

[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_03]: And they're like, wow, lying works.

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_03]: And guess who else is there?

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_03]: The guy from the other night.

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And he immediately takes Tony a drink.

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Tony says, are you sure that drink is safe?

[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_03]: He's like, good point.

[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Gets different drinks.

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_03]: His name's Justin Harrison.

[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_03]: And he's an acquisition guy.

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Bree saves her from the conversation and the night.

[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_03]: And they end up just goofing off all night.

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_03]: A couple of goofs.

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_03]: They leave.

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_03]: And Tony waves at Justin.

[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And his dimples just dimple.

[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean?

[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_03]: It just pop right off his face.

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_03]: And we found out that you can get dimples if you don't have them.

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_03]: $5,000 to $7,000 if you're interested in that.

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_03]: It's reasonable.

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_03]: It's reasonable if you think about it.

[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_03]: We don't know if that is per dimple or an appearance.

[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll get back to you by the time we get.

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Not sure if that's a per dim cost or not.

[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_03]: But they get a crazy idea.

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's go to every party imaginable.

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Because we have access to all these cards at the thing.

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Or the invitations.

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_03]: And we know where all the best parties are going to be.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_03]: And then they just go and they lie about who they are.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_03]: It's big fun partying with the bigwigs.

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_03]: But at one party she sees Justin again.

[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_03]: And somebody that Tony actually knows from law school.

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_03]: And she is going into labor.

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_03]: And so now Justin needs a replacement for her.

[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_03]: And guess who's standing right there?

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_03]: It's Tony.

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Tony.

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_03]: And so she is going to obviously have to work.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_03]: But also going to have to go on the retreat in Vermont.

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_03]: You have to sometimes.

[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_03]: So obviously Brie is tagging along.

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's a good thing.

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Because Vinny the valet is there.

[00:09:15] [SPEAKER_03]: And Vinny the valet and Brie are clearly into each other.

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_03]: They have locked eyes multiple times at multiple parties.

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_03]: And they don't waste any time.

[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_03]: They kiss like first night right out of the gate.

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Justin and Tony though.

[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_03]: They're going to need a little longer.

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Because they're the A storyline.

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_03]: And we've got a lot to get to here.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_03]: It's going to take some time.

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_03]: But they do spend just a ton of time together.

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_03]: They're talking about each other.

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_03]: And sharing some things.

[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_03]: But obviously not coming clean to the fact that she's not a lawyer.

[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_03]: She's going to keep that going a little bit longer.

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_03]: And apparently Justin though.

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_03]: He has a thing for liars.

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_03]: His ex.

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_03]: She was a great liar.

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_03]: One of the best.

[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_03]: And you know.

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure it's not going to bother him at all.

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_03]: When he finds out that she's been lying to him.

[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_03]: To make matters worse.

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Brie basically just tells Vinny everything.

[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Just spills all them beams.

[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_03]: And so that's unfortunate.

[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_03]: One night.

[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_03]: They're all together.

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And Tony gets really mad.

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_03]: When she sees these guys.

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Making fun of her dad's commercial.

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_03]: She goes outside.

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_03]: He comes out and is like.

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_03]: So.

[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Your dad's the commercial guy huh?

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_03]: And.

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_03]: You might think that might be a perfect opportunity to come clean.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not.

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_03]: They kiss instead.

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_03]: And I mean it's good.

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_03]: You know.

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_03]: But what can you do?

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_03]: They kiss huge ones.

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_03]: He's like.

[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I have an insane crush on you.

[00:10:36] [SPEAKER_03]: It's huge.

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_03]: It's great.

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_03]: It's wonderful.

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_03]: It's beautiful.

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_03]: But mid kiss.

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_03]: They get interrupted by Brie.

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Who is mad.

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Because I guess Vinny lied to her about his business.

[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Because he owns it.

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_03]: And like is probably rich at this point.

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Which we all hate.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_03]: He ends up showing up at her work though.

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_03]: And he's like.

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I like you so much.

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I think you're amazing.

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_03]: And she's like.

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay thanks.

[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_03]: And they kiss some more.

[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Tony goes to tell Justin the truth about who she is.

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_03]: But he already knows who she is.

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Because his assistant gives him a folder laying it all out.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_03]: And so he's like I know who you are.

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_03]: And she's like I'm going to try to explain myself.

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_03]: But he just kind of stares at her.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_03]: And so she leaves.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Cut to one year later.

[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_03]: She is now in business with her dad.

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_03]: She passed that bar.

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_03]: She's a real lawyer with real commercials.

[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And probably real binges as well.

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_03]: You know who's seen the commercials though?

[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Justin.

[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_03]: He's seen them.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_03]: But he's not ready to forgive her quite yet.

[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Brie is in party planning now.

[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And is crushing that.

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_03]: And she's also getting married.

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Great dress.

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Great dance.

[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Great time.

[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Guess who ends up crashing that party?

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_03]: It's Justin.

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_03]: And he's like I'm here to tell you that I forgive you.

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_03]: And I want to start over.

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_03]: To which she walks away.

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_03]: End of movie.

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Just kidding.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_03]: She comes back with drinks.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Introduces herself.

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_03]: They end up toasting.

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_03]: They end up dancing.

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_03]: They end up kissing.

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_03]: And he lifts her up in slow-mo.

[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_03]: And now my friends was.

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Holiday Crashers.

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_03]: We did do it.

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Hey let's take a quick break.

[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll come back.

[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll get to I believe we're going to do four segments tonight.

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_03]: We can fit them all.

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll see what we can do.

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_03]: But we'll be right back here on.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Deck the Hallmark.

[00:12:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Ladies I don't know much.

[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_04]: But I do know that most dudes need help with their grooming.

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Can confirm.

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_04]: My grooming got so much better after I got married.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure yours did too.

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_04]: And I'm here to tell you that the TLC Scout Buffer from Manscaped is the ticket.

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_04]: You start massaging your Scout with this thing.

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_04]: A lot's going to happen.

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_04]: One, you're going to wash your hair better.

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_04]: You're going to be cleaner.

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_04]: You're going to be healthier.

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_04]: It is the perfect shower accessory for your dude that is easy, clean, and healthy.

[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I think a lot of people, Dan, know about Manscaped from their razors and their whatnots.

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_03]: But when I got my hands on the Scout Buffer, Dan, it's a silicone grooming tool.

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_03]: It's designed to exfoliate, which I love saying that word.

[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_03]: The scalp.

[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Stimulate blood flow and enhance shampoo performance for a cleaner, healthier head of hair.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_03]: That paragraph is like, okay, those are a lot of words, but what does it mean?

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Here's what it means, Dan.

[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_03]: I started using the Scout Buffer, and I immediately realized that I've been washing my hair wrong all this time.

[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Twist.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I know.

[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_03]: It's crazy.

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_03]: I felt cleaner.

[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I felt like, oh my gosh, shampoo is really doing stuff right now.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_03]: It was an amazing experience, and it's something that I'm going to do every day now.

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_03]: When I take a shower, I'm using the Scout Buffer.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_03]: It just makes the shampooing experience a brand new experience, and it makes it feel like something's really happening.

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's nice.

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_03]: It is a nice product.

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_03]: It feels great.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_03]: It's thick silicone bristles.

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_03]: They're 100% antibacterial, so you don't got to worry about that.

[00:14:05] [SPEAKER_03]: And here's the thing, Dano.

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I believe our friends at Manscaped are hooking us up with something?

[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, don't get used to it.

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody, we're talking about Holiday Crashers today, and we get the whole gang with us, which is a lot of fun.

[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to break this movie down with four segments.

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to start with The Hot Tank.

[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_03]: It is where we share exactly how we felt about the movie.

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_03]: We're not going to hold back one bit.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_03]: And I'll start with one guy who he once held back.

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Whoa, yeah.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_03]: People called it on him.

[00:15:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought we weren't going to talk about it.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And he hasn't held back since.

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Brian, take it away.

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_01]: This, I liked.

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I liked it.

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I just don't know how else to say that.

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to hold back.

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_01]: He definitely didn't hold back there, Brian.

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to hold back.

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_04]: He's bringing heat.

[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_04]: That was razzle dazzle.

[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_01]: All the line was a little stressful.

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_01]: A little stressful.

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_01]: But it didn't feel like a throwaway.

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_01]: We're kicking off the weekend.

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's hyped up.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_01]: We're just going to throw something on the screen.

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It felt substantial.

[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot going on here.

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Some actual story stuff going on.

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_01]: The Party Crashers, that's so cool.

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I could never.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have that kind of confidence.

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm so jealous of those.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_01]: If you have confidence, it's like you can do anything in the world.

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_01]: You pull up and there's a parking spot there for you whenever you pull up to a restaurant.

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Brian always says there's always a parking spot for Dan.

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_01]: It's unreal.

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have that.

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't.

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I wish I could.

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_03]: You don't have parking spot energy.

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't have that kind of energy.

[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't have that.

[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_01]: But you would build your tournament.

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_01]: That's true.

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a small step for me.

[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Jax, we'll get in there.

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_01]: So something that didn't track for me was when, what was her name?

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Bree.

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Bree.

[00:16:12] [SPEAKER_01]: She got upset with finding out that Vinny was the business owner.

[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, she's super confident.

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, she wouldn't get upset by this.

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_01]: So that was one thing I was like, oh, I don't like that so much.

[00:16:23] [SPEAKER_01]: But I guess maybe she was just in her head about it.

[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Other than that little thing and the lying being a little stressful, really, really like this one.

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Off to a great start this weekend.

[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Two for two, batting 1,000.

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Right, Ryan?

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_03]: How about that?

[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Ryan, what did you think, buddy?

[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I liked it.

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_03]: I heard this before.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_04]: It is just like, man, the fastball is just popping the mitts.

[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I know.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_06]: We're 100% two for two.

[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_06]: I said about halfway through this film that maybe there just won't be a bad one this year.

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_04]: You said that earlier today, too.

[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_04]: You're really calling your shot.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, like, you know, I'm nothing but optimistic when watching things that I care about.

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_06]: I give Hallmark a lot of credit for a bunch of things.

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_06]: During the preview, I think we all said to some degree, but Jax, I think you said specifically, you know, like, maybe both of you said that.

[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_06]: We're going to do buddy cop or buddy film for about, you know, 10 minutes, and then we're just going to forget about it.

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_06]: You didn't do it.

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_06]: This was a buddy film first and foremost.

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_06]: I, you know, mileage may vary on what you thought about the romances, but the most important relationship in the film was the two female leads being friends, which I think is awesome.

[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_06]: I give Hallmark a lot of credit.

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_06]: The family dynamics of all the characters were talked about with sophistication and care, and they mattered to the plot.

[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_06]: Her relationship with her father was really important, and I thought that was great.

[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_06]: It was a driver for the story, which was important.

[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_06]: The B romance was better than the A romance, but again, who cares?

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Like, I mean, in the sense of that, like, they both were effective.

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_06]: I just thought that the B romance was better to that point.

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_06]: Both leads were great, but Daniela Monet really popped from jump.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_06]: She's awesome.

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_06]: And I'm not just saying that because of me, and she was a picture on networks that, you know, showed programming that I liked when I was younger.

[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_06]: She was awesome.

[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_06]: Such a long way to say Nickelodeon.

[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Just say Nickelodeon.

[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_06]: It was like he wasn't allowed to.

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_05]: I liked it.

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Like Harvard, you know.

[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.

[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_07]: Harvard.

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Harvard.

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_07]: Harvard.

[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, they have Nickelodeon on Philo.

[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_06]: You can talk about it if you want to.

[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_06]: She was also on Nickelodeon back in the day.

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_06]: Oh.

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_06]: Wow.

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_06]: You can't say that, can you?

[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_06]: You can't say that.

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_06]: There's so many of us here, so, like, the big things will be covered.

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_06]: But I liked most about this film.

[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Not only was the female lead relationship the most important, but they also didn't bother giving them a seven-minute falling out.

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_06]: They're just friends, and that's great.

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_06]: Let's zig when people expect us to zag.

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_06]: We're two for two.

[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_06]: We're going to be 41 for 41 or whatever the math is.

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_06]: Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_06]: We'll bleep it out.

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_06]: Patrick, what do you think, buddy?

[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_09]: Oh, my gosh.

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_09]: We're going out of order.

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_09]: Okay.

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_09]: Okay.

[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_09]: So, I agree with everything these guys said.

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_09]: I was really nervous at the beginning when we had two montages in the first 20 minutes.

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_09]: I was like, uh-oh.

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_09]: We're already at montage time.

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_09]: So, that can be problematic.

[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_09]: And they weren't dumb montages.

[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_09]: They were like, we're partying.

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_09]: We're having so much fun montages.

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_09]: And they were funny.

[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_09]: So, that was good.

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_09]: It wasn't like your typical Christmas baking montage.

[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_09]: I thought the direction overall kind of took things in a different way.

[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_09]: There was a lot of funny moments that were put into the movie that were really fun.

[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_09]: And, yeah.

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_09]: I think that overall, really good.

[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_09]: Oh, I also really like the lawyer commercials.

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[00:19:31] [SPEAKER_09]: Those are so good.

[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_09]: Like, they are so true to life.

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_09]: And a bad one.

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_09]: I can think of so many from just different cities.

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_09]: And everybody has that lawyer in their city.

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_09]: So, very relatable.

[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Who's yours?

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Hawk Law?

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Hawk Law is a great one.

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_04]: Probably Hawk Law.

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Joel Bieber.

[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that's a good one.

[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Bob Law.

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Bob Law.

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Hard for kids.

[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I think we can all, obviously, we love.

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, not lawyers, but.

[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to have to bleep that, too, I think.

[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_03]: No.

[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_03]: You can't say that.

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Two for two.

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_03]: That is the devil earworm.

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_03]: No.

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Great jingle.

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Great jingle.

[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Jax, what did you think?

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_08]: I love this.

[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_08]: I got emotional at the end.

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Look.

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_08]: Anna Kemp, who is one of my friends that works the Hallmark, was one of the execs behind

[00:20:20] [SPEAKER_08]: this.

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_08]: And I was like, this movie's really good.

[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_08]: And she said that this was their, like, tribute to Wedding Crashers, as we were saying.

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_08]: And Suits.

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_08]: And I so feel the buddy comedy of Suits in this.

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_08]: I loved it.

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_08]: Daniela Monet was on fire.

[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Like, Ryan and I were making eye contact so much as being like, she's killing it.

[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_08]: Lindsay Fonseca, she's incredible in this movie.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_08]: I cried at the end.

[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_08]: I cried when Lindsay Fonseca was on the car commercial with her dad.

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know if it's because I'm with my friends, and we've raised a lot of money, and I love

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_08]: the double-deckers, and I love this community.

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_08]: Or, like, it was also just...

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_08]: It was sweet.

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_08]: It was really sweet that they were there in the car commercial with her dad.

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_08]: Or sleep deprivation.

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_08]: It could also be sleep deprivation.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_08]: But I really, really like this one, and I'm really glad that I had it in my draft kit.

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Wow.

[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that is a really good draft kit, which is a big one.

[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_08]: Quick, the Dimpleplasty, I confirmed, it's both dimples.

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_08]: It's only 1,500 in New York to do it, but ranging all the way to 6,000 in places.

[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_04]: You've got to feel like that 1,500, Dim, surgery, you don't want.

[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_04]: You don't want 1,500.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_03]: What is that?

[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Do they just, like, what do they just carve out a little?

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they carve out a little.

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Wow.

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_03]: It's kind of pokey a little.

[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_08]: You have to keep mentally sound, and they ask you all these, and you have to make sure

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_08]: that your face works.

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_03]: How do you even prove that, you know?

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's tough out there.

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.

[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, there's a lot that has been said that I could re-harp on, but I won't.

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll just say this.

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Great.

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Loved it.

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Great wedding.

[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Great dress.

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Great dance.

[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Great friendship.

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Great lift.

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Great lift.

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Can we talk about that lift?

[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_08]: I'd love to.

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Can we talk about that lift?

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_03]: So, a lot of things that Hallmark didn't have to do.

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_03]: You're right.

[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_03]: They didn't have to give us the buddy comedy stuff.

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_03]: They didn't have to give us such a nice dress.

[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_03]: They didn't have to give them a dimple surgery.

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_03]: They didn't have to give them a dimple surgery.

[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_03]: They didn't have to have that awesome dance scene.

[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_03]: They didn't have to end with a lift.

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_03]: They did all of that.

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And for that, I tip my hat and I say thank you two for two.

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm already stressed about my list because I don't know.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what I'm doing yet, guys.

[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Even with just yesterday's movie in comparison, I don't know what to do.

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, you don't know what to do?

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know yet.

[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know yet.

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_03]: It was easier when the Friday movie was bad.

[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_03]: I like him a lot for different reasons.

[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_03]: I like him a lot for different reasons.

[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll see what I'll do.

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll figure it out at some point.

[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Alonzo.

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_05]: There is a black hole sucking all the light out of this movie, and his name is Chris McNally.

[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Bingo!

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh!

[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry.

[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_05]: And don't at me, Hardys.

[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_05]: This is not a judgment of him in general.

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_05]: He's so right.

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_05]: But in this movie, he is such a stick.

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_05]: He is a walking no fun zone with a questionable haircut, and he has zero chemistry with Lindsey

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_05]: Fonseca.

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_03]: No!

[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Strong disagree, Alonzo.

[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_05]: Lindsey Fonseca and Daniella Monet, bam!

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_05]: That's true.

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_05]: Chris McNally walks on screen, and the whole thing deflates.

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm sorry.

[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_05]: I like that, yes, the female friendship is handled well.

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_05]: It is given a place of priority.

[00:23:33] [SPEAKER_05]: They don't have some stupid argument.

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, Lindsey Fonseca's character arc is interesting.

[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_05]: A whole big bushel of wait, what's when it comes to some of the Danielle Monet stuff, although

[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_05]: she is very funny and a lot of fun, and clearly staking her claim to eventually have

[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_05]: an A story of her own one of these.

[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_05]: But McNally kills this movie in the worst way, and it made it not work in the aggregate.

[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Ooh!

[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_08]: But what do you think of his haircut in it?

[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_05]: Don't like it.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_05]: I love it.

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_05]: I wish I had hair like that.

[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_04]: At the first commercial break, I was talking to Alonzo, and I was like, is McNally just

[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_04]: not working here?

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_04]: And Alonzo had faith and said, they're going to let him loosen up here.

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_04]: They're going to let him loosen up.

[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_04]: And then they just didn't.

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Here's my thing, is this movie, when Lindsey Fonseca, a revelation in this movie.

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_04]: I liked her just fine in Where Are You Christmas?

[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_04]: She's so quirky and funny and wonderful in this movie.

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Daniela Monet, amazing.

[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_04]: When it's about those two, most of the time I really like it.

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_04]: The Chris McNally, Lindsey Fonseca storyline, I don't think works at all.

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_04]: The other thing that bothered me about this movie is everyone in this movie is a lying

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_04]: liar who lies, and that's fine.

[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_04]: I actually like it better when every main character is lying about something, but they also seem

[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_04]: to take it really personal when they've been lied to, which is a weird posture to take

[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_04]: when you are lying regularly.

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's probably because you're more sensitive to it, but also you have to at least look at

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_04]: yourself and be like, hey, this is what I do regularly.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Having said that, really encouraged by the direction Hallmark's heading.

[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_04]: As far as the first two movies of the year go, it could be a lot worse.

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I think that we're in a really good spot to have some really good movies.

[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I would say the best one-two punch of any holiday season I've covered, even if I still,

[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_04]: I think I maybe have this movie slightly above Fridays because the degree of difficulty was

[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_04]: higher, and it was actually what Ryan said, really a female buddy comedy.

[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Tracy and Dream's riding it.

[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_04]: There's some really funny lines.

[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_04]: And so when this movie works, it absolutely sparkles.

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_04]: It just moves.

[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_04]: But then, you know, there's some times when it just starts becoming molasses and the chemistry

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_04]: isn't there, and that's unfortunate.

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's a higher degree of difficulty than the movie last night.

[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_04]: If last night was a 5'8", this is right there with it.

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe 5'9", 6'0".

[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_04]: That's where I am.

[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought we weren't going past just the one decimal point.

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_04]: 5'9", or 6'0".

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay.

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_01]: 5'9", 6'0".

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought we were...

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a 5'9", 6'0", and I think that's as clear as you can be in this case.

[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_03]: It's time for all the feels before we talk about what this movie gave us feels.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_03]: No.

[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll start with you.

[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll take this one.

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_03]: The...

[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Rep, rep, jet...

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm still mad about the slander, and I'll get to it.

[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_03]: The slander.

[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, slander.

[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't like the slander.

[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I said, the groomsmen was worse than the wedding veil or anything.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, man.

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll see.

[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_04]: We'll review it later this week.

[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_04]: Who knows?

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it could happen.

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Go ahead, bro.

[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the outfits were so freaking festive in this movie.

[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_01]: It was phenomenal.

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_01]: When Brie showed up to the lodge in Vermont, it was like a standout look, and it just didn't

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_01]: stop.

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_01]: The wedding, the Hindu wedding, they didn't...

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Like you said, they didn't have to go that hard.

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_01]: They were dressed so nicely, and the dance...

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, just...

[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_01]: The whole, like, look of it was...

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It looks like a lot of attention was paid to that, and it popped off the screen to me.

[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Rye.

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_06]: Rye?

[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_06]: The wedding was amazing.

[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_06]: I will let somebody else cover it in detail.

[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Obviously, that's the biggest feel of the movie, in my opinion.

[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_06]: But at one point, she lies, because everybody lies, and she says that she's an F1 driver,

[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_06]: which is fun, because her last name is Andretti, and he was a race car driver.

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_06]: So that's very fun.

[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_06]: No, the other one says she's an F1 driver.

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_01]: She did, yeah.

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Brie did.

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_06]: It's really fun that there's a...

[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_06]: Andretti is a connection there.

[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_06]: And it's really nice to see Hallmark trying to not just counter-program against the

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Yankees and Guardians when Wiches was airing, but try to grab some of those sports fans

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_06]: as well.

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_06]: That's right.

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_06]: That was a big move on that point.

[00:27:54] [SPEAKER_06]: That's a great point, Rob.

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_06]: I thought they doubled them up.

[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, for sure.

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_06]: Just crushing in every sense.

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, for sure.

[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_06]: Patrick?

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Literally.

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Vroom, vroom.

[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_06]: Patrick?

[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_09]: So we talked a little bit about family dynamics.

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_09]: Sure.

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_09]: There was this argument at the beginning of the movie with the daughter and the dad, and

[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_09]: it really got me like, you know, sometimes I get sassy with my parents.

[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_09]: And, you know, I felt that she was really out of line when she was saying her dad was

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_09]: a loser lawyer TV guy.

[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, she would say that.

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_09]: What did she say he was called?

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_09]: She said he was like...

[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Not a real lawyer, I believe.

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, or like a loser.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_03]: You think I'm not a lawyer, you're not a lawyer.

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, and like your commercials are embarrassing.

[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_09]: And like, oh my God.

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_09]: And I hate you.

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_09]: Right.

[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_09]: And then she runs out of the house and slams the door.

[00:28:42] [SPEAKER_09]: You're not my real dad.

[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_09]: Stuff like that.

[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_09]: Right.

[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_09]: And he's like, Angela, come back.

[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_09]: Or whatever her name is.

[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_09]: Antonia.

[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_09]: My Antonia.

[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_09]: Yes.

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_09]: So that family arguing stressed me out.

[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_09]: It gave me feels of a woe.

[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_09]: Whoa, this family is hot.

[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Woe feels.

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_09]: Hot.

[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Woe feels.

[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Jax?

[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_08]: That actually also did something for me, Patrick, because I feel like I'm not very sassy with

[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_08]: my parents, but when I've in the past accidentally said things that have hurt their feelings, it's

[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_08]: like, it's really, really devastating.

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_08]: So I definitely felt that.

[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_08]: I think for me...

[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_03]: It's nice to have your mom on the line.

[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Sounds great.

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Bring her on.

[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_08]: But I...

[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_08]: Love you, Mom.

[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_08]: Love you, Mom.

[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_08]: I think the biggest feel for me, though, was the dance that Brie and her husband got to

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_08]: do at the wedding, closely followed by Daniela Monet's two different pairs of leather pants.

[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Unbelievable.

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Her wardrobe in general.

[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Unbelievable.

[00:29:49] [SPEAKER_03]: It really was.

[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Unbelievable.

[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, this wedding was wonderful.

[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_03]: The wedding was unbelievable.

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_03]: This is...

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, we've seen some weddings in our days, both in real life, but when I'm talking

[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_03]: mainly...

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_04]: We've seen some weddings in our days.

[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.

[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Weddings in our days.

[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Collectively, we've seen some weddings.

[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_03]: I would say...

[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_03]: How many weddings do you think we've seen on Hallmark Channel?

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_03]: How many do you think we've seen?

[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh.

[00:30:11] [SPEAKER_04]: We've watched probably a thousand movies, so...

[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Best dress.

[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Easy.

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Couple hundred.

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Best dress.

[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the best dress.

[00:30:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Easy.

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Best dress.

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Easy.

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_03]: It was...

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_03]: It was just wonderful.

[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_03]: And I think it's the only time a bride has walked down the aisle in a Hallmark movie

[00:30:28] [SPEAKER_03]: and everybody was like, wow, they're really doing it.

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Yep.

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_04]: And that's nice.

[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_04]: That's nice.

[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_04]: You said...

[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_04]: I'll piggy-peek you back there.

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_04]: You said Hallmark didn't have to go this hard, and my first thought was, it's about time

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Hallmark actually did this authentically.

[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_04]: And it seemed like they really put an effort into...

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_04]: All the way down to the dance between the bride and the groom.

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought it was great, and it was like, you're right, they didn't have to go this hard,

[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_04]: but they finally are.

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Which is cool.

[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it is nice when they go hard, for sure.

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Alonzo?

[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, the two women who wrote this know what they're doing.

[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Tracy Andrean, Hallmark vet.

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_05]: Also, Lee Friedlander, Hallmark vet.

[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_05]: And lesbian indie vet.

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_05]: They've been around.

[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_05]: And a lot of the jokes here are really great, especially in terms of the way men behave

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_05]: in these movies.

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_05]: So when McDowell is looking at her picture from the party, and the guy walks in and says,

[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_05]: stalk her.

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_05]: You know?

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_05]: And the whole thing about the party drinks safe, you know?

[00:31:24] [SPEAKER_05]: And all of that, you know, the doula tips that she's giving the party.

[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_05]: Like, there's fun stuff.

[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_05]: I liked the party montage just because the two of them are so fun, and they're like

[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_05]: totally relishing the comic possibilities of that.

[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_05]: The fact that the snooty lady, the second party they go to, is named Deborah Van Clout,

[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_05]: you know?

[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_05]: That was all very funny.

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_05]: I liked all of that stuff.

[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_05]: And yeah, the wedding is terrific.

[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_05]: Is Hallmark decades late on the Bollywood craze coming to the United States?

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Yes, they are.

[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_05]: But they got there, and you know, we now, we have a bride with an exposed midriff, and

[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_05]: hallelujah.

[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_05]: Here we are.

[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's take a quick break.

[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll come back.

[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll get to the way one, the what, the Hallmark.

[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_03]: I think you dig.

[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you dig.

[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_03]: We're good.

[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we're good.

[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Did you have something else?

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_04]: No, no, no.

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_04]: That's perfect.

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_04]: You're good.

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Get moving.

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Take the Hallmark.

[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Take the Hallmark.

[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to go downhill, bro.

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I want you to see that, man.

[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, it's Deck the Hallmark.

[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Hey.

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_03]: It's time for the way it was.

[00:32:24] [SPEAKER_03]: We were talking about what in this movie, the Holiday Crashers.

[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Made Us Go.

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Wait, what?

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll start with you, Brian.

[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I just feel like you've got to vet your law consultants.

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Even if you, you can trust Letitia and do your due diligence at the same time.

[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you can't, you don't have to do just one.

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like when you're bringing somebody on as a law consultant, that's just a very basic

[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_01]: step that you're going to take, is just go through the process.

[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_01]: They didn't do it and paid the price.

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_01]: So, lesson learned, I hope.

[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_01]: The, her friend there, Penny, Tony's friend.

[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Who worked at Skyline.

[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_01]: She had all these internal documents, all these, all these problems that she knew about.

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_01]: She was just sitting on them, waiting for somebody to, waiting for the phone to ring.

[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, was she ever going to reach out?

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, why wouldn't she reach out to somebody?

[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_03]: You're talking about Penny?

[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Penny?

[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Penny.

[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Penny.

[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_01]: She worked at Skyline.

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_01]: She had a, she said, I'm going to buy a car, but I'd never buy a car from Skyline.

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Why did it come to, to, to Tony having to reach out to her?

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, just make a phone call, make an anonymous tip, something like that.

[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_01]: But, uh, the last one is that, um, it just feels like a bit of a gray area with Tony

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_01]: working for consulting for the law office.

[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And her dad is representing the, uh, you know, somebody, yeah, it's just a little bit of a,

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_01]: it was just a little bit of a distraction.

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and so that just, and her defense, she's not a real lawyer.

[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's true.

[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a gray area.

[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_03]: You're messing with a lot of other people's company.

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a gray area.

[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_03]: That's all I'm saying.

[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_03]: For sure.

[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_01]: So that'll, that'll do for me.

[00:34:00] [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, Ryan.

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_06]: When do you guys take the toothpick out of the sandwich?

[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, before I take a bite.

[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean.

[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_06]: For sure.

[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Especially if there's a pickle on top of it.

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_04]: You gotta take that.

[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_06]: At worst, you forgot in one bite, right?

[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_06]: Cause like, then, like this guy.

[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_06]: You're getting dangerous.

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_06]: I mean, he's like eating around it.

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_06]: It's like Brian with the peanut in the, the, the center of the Tootsie Pop or whatever

[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_06]: it is, right?

[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_06]: Licking around the nut.

[00:34:20] [SPEAKER_06]: He's licking around the nut.

[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_06]: That's a pro move.

[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Licking around the toothache.

[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_01]: This guy's a pro.

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_01]: He knows.

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_01]: He knows how to eat a sandwich.

[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_01]: He's fine.

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_01]: He's fine.

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_06]: It just concerned me.

[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_06]: I was worried about his health.

[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_06]: Um, and then really only one other cause the movie was delightful.

[00:34:32] [SPEAKER_06]: Um, you know, Tony was written to be very smart.

[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_06]: You know, she's self-aware.

[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_06]: She should, once they're, once they're at the lodge and they're like, oh, weren't you

[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_06]: in the Olympics?

[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_06]: And the, the Justin guy's right there.

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_06]: He knows.

[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_06]: Like she should.

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_06]: Like that was the one time they were like, let's, let's be Hallmark here.

[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_06]: Like let's, let's, let's do it.

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_06]: All right.

[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_06]: So, uh, that didn't, that didn't sit well with me, but it's okay.

[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_06]: There you go.

[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, Patrick.

[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_09]: Um, so we've been talking a lot, um, during the marathon.

[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_09]: Well, we obviously, but we've been talking a lot to hear my voice, um, right.

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_09]: Um, about queer representation this year and kind of like, uh, you know, how there's not

[00:35:12] [SPEAKER_09]: going to be like a movie with, um, queer leads.

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_09]: Um, and it was a little disappointing or like a head scratcher to see like these queer coded

[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_09]: characters, like the, the lesbian barista who isn't explicitly a lesbian, but she's queer

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_09]: coded.

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_09]: Somebody tell her hair that.

[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_09]: Right.

[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_09]: Exactly.

[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_09]: And same with like the assistant, um, the gay assistant, which is a trope that goes back

[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_09]: way, way, way, way long.

[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_09]: Um, and these are the roles that, that, uh, as a queer actor, I would see myself in and

[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_09]: be like, oh yeah, that's the play.

[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_09]: Um, so it was a little disappointing to see that and nothing like more to come of it.

[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_09]: Um, cause it kind of felt like there was a moment with Brie and the barista where I was

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_09]: like, wait, what's happening here?

[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_05]: Um, she and the breeze have more chemistry than Lindsay Fonseca and Chris with now.

[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_09]: Yes.

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_09]: Yes, absolutely.

[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_09]: Um, so I just want, I'm, I'm sure that, you know, people involved are like queer friendly

[00:36:06] [SPEAKER_09]: or, or you had mentioned one of the writers is a queer.

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_09]: Um, so I'm sure they're aware of that.

[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_09]: Um, but I just want to point it out to the viewers just so you see like the, like, um,

[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_09]: um, kind of like a few steps taken back, um, an example of what that looks like.

[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_09]: And this would be a good example.

[00:36:26] Dang.

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, is that it?

[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.

[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Jax?

[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, so well said.

[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_08]: And also, yeah, this was 10 years ago.

[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_08]: We'd be so excited that they were queer.

[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, so excited.

[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, so, but yeah, I, I totally agree.

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_08]: Um.

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_09]: And I still was excited.

[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_08]: I know too, cause I, yeah, we, we looked at each other like, oh yeah, like that barista.

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, absolutely.

[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_08]: I see you.

[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_08]: And she was a hottie.

[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_08]: I was into it.

[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_08]: Um, I think my biggest way, what was just canopies?

[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_08]: Was she joking around about how to say canopies?

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh.

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_08]: Does anyone remember this?

[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought they said canopies.

[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_04]: She said canopies?

[00:36:57] No, she said canopies.

[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_08]: Canopies.

[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_08]: Oh.

[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_08]: And I couldn't tell if that was her being silly and joking around.

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_08]: Or also, which I really appreciate about her character, cause like, I come from a really

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_08]: small town and like, you know, like I get it.

[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_08]: These kind of parties were foreign to me before I moved to the big city.

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_08]: Maybe she, you know, maybe, like I used to say, Aaron,

[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_08]: Hermes, Hermes.

[00:37:18] [SPEAKER_08]: I didn't know.

[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_08]: And so maybe she doesn't know.

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_08]: Exactly.

[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_08]: Exactly.

[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_08]: So maybe she doesn't know, but I think she said canopies.

[00:37:25] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I think as somebody who crushes it with the grammar and the words all the time,

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_03]: I think like, you know, she probably just really blew it.

[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, that's probably the only.

[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_03]: She probably just blew it.

[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Was it a Jewish wedding?

[00:37:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Cause then there would be canopies.

[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_03]: She probably just blew it.

[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_03]: I have a few.

[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_03]: One, they're in this like area and these guys are watching a sports game on TV.

[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_03]: We got to do most of the work to figure out that it's a sports game though, because the

[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_03]: shot they show on the TV is from behind a crowd and that the, whatever the game is, soccer,

[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_03]: I believe is blurry behind them.

[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_03]: But the guys are like, yeah, you go, man.

[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_03]: So they're just like, maybe this is like a weird thing that I don't know about.

[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Like a, a, like underground, like, Hey, let's cheer for people that are in the stands of sports

[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_03]: games.

[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.

[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, yeah, you go.

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_03]: My money's on the guy with the red shirt.

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Who's I bet he high five somebody.

[00:38:25] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.

[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Sports, sports betting has gotten out of control.

[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I think we can all agree.

[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure there is some sort of sports betting app.

[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_03]: That's like, does the guy in the first row high five somebody before this?

[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what the sport was though, that they're, that they're shooting for here.

[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_03]: She's leaving her parents' house and they have an all brass version of Oh Christmas tree

[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_03]: playing, which was wonderful, but they had it turned up to at least a thousand.

[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_03]: It was so loud and they just wanted to know we got the brass baby.

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_03]: And I wasn't upset about it, but it was really loud.

[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_03]: And then I found it interesting that this law office that is really nice law office,

[00:39:09] [SPEAKER_03]: had just a massive straight up square TV.

[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Every TV nowadays, nice landscape, 16, nine, not this place.

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just a square and it's convenient because the law commercial was shot in four three.

[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_03]: And so it worked out really well, I think for their, their law office, but you know,

[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_03]: sometimes, sometimes it pays off.

[00:39:33] [SPEAKER_03]: You put them on the old Murder, She Wrote episode.

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, it's wonderful.

[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_03]: It's wonderful.

[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_03]: But it's, they found the biggest square TV I think to ever exist.

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Flat screen square in their law office and it's wonderful.

[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Alonzo?

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_05]: We joked about this earlier, but she went to Harvard, except she went to Halt-word.

[00:39:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Halt-word.

[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_05]: Like, come on.

[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_05]: They went to Halt.

[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_05]: Harvard is a thing in public that you can just, you don't have to buy the rights to it.

[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_05]: You can just say it and we know what it is.

[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_05]: And if you're not going to say it, come up with nothing better than Halt-word.

[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_05]: That's right.

[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_05]: Don't promise me a weird puppet show and then not deliver.

[00:40:10] [SPEAKER_05]: Like, that was-

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_04]: That's pretty wild.

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_05]: Not particularly weird.

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_05]: And that was a lot of setup for, for not much.

[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_05]: You take it to the tape.

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_05]: This is a quick moment, but I just, I couldn't believe it.

[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_05]: She's talking to the dad and on the phone and he has a sugar cookie that's shaped like

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_05]: a snowman.

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_05]: And he's dunking the head in a glass of milk and then he bites the arm off.

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, boy.

[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_05]: What are we doing here?

[00:40:33] [SPEAKER_05]: Like, I did not eat a sandwich.

[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_05]: He also does not know how cookies work.

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_03]: It's disrespectful.

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_05]: Yes, to everyone involved.

[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_05]: And then finally, she shows up at, after, you know, McGarry knows that she's been lying.

[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_05]: She shows up in his office.

[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_05]: McGarry.

[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_05]: McGarry.

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_05]: Sorry, McGarry.

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_05]: Sorry.

[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Sorry.

[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_05]: She was crying.

[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_06]: She was crying.

[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_06]: See you next month to tell.

[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_06]: Cool.

[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_05]: McGarry.

[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_05]: She shows up at his office and the first thing out of her mouth is, oh, we should talk

[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_05]: about, you know, Skyline Motors.

[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_05]: And he's like, no, we're not going to because, you know, you're a liar.

[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_05]: She said, well, that's what I came to tell you.

[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_05]: I'm like, well, then maybe start with that.

[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_05]: If you open with Skyline Motors, it sounds like you're going to continue lying.

[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_05]: If you have come to confess, then I would get that out first.

[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Dana?

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Dana?

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Most of them have been taken.

[00:41:21] [SPEAKER_04]: There's seven of us.

[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_04]: I do love that Vinny said he can always spot a wedding crasher a mile, a Christmas party

[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_04]: crasher a mile away because they're the ones having the most fun, which is quite a statement.

[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_04]: What you're saying is that no one at a Christmas party they've been invited to can possibly enjoy

[00:41:39] [SPEAKER_04]: themselves as much as someone that's there without being invited.

[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Bold.

[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a bold statement by Vinny.

[00:41:46] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm just going to take his word for it, that if brands at a Christmas party he was

[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_04]: invited to, you're going to look and go, that's not the crasher because someone's having

[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_04]: more fun than Frank.

[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_03]: My hands are tied, I can only legally.

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_04]: As soon as you see a crasher, you've got to dial it down.

[00:41:59] [SPEAKER_04]: You have to.

[00:42:00] [SPEAKER_04]: There's nothing you can do.

[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_03]: I have to, if I'm at a 10, I have to come down to a seven.

[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Respect.

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Invitation in your pocket.

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_08]: I think Brandon is more likely to be the crasher.

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_08]: I think Vinny is talking about rich, boring people.

[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Brain goes to enough Christmas parties without having to crash any, I don't think.

[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_08]: No, but like these big, fancy parties that they're going to.

[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.

[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, like I feel like they're all rich, boring people.

[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_08]: I'm just saying.

[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_04]: The Deborah Van Clout parties.

[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_08]: I know that you're invited to parties, Brian.

[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_08]: I wasn't insinuating that.

[00:42:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it seemed like you were.

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_04]: It was being spirited.

[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_04]: I've been interpreted that way.

[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm a hot commodity.

[00:42:30] [SPEAKER_04]: When Tony is trying to basically play both sides for the middle as not a lawyer, at one

[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_04]: point her dad, they try to write off any confidentiality issues with her dad saying, I guess technically

[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_04]: you're still an employee from that summer you interned.

[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Almost every word in that sentence is wrong.

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_04]: Interns and employees are different.

[00:42:52] [SPEAKER_04]: That was a long time ago.

[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_04]: If you did an internship somewhere 10 years ago, you're not still employed by them.

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I guess you're still employed from those months of free labor you did for us.

[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_04]: How the law works.

[00:43:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Do you remember we almost had the intern for Bramble Jam?

[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Ah, that was fun.

[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_04]: What a time to be alive.

[00:43:09] [SPEAKER_04]: And then just never showed up.

[00:43:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, and then, uh, lastly, and this is my big one.

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_04]: She gets really upset that two bros at a bar are laughing at her dad in a commercial where

[00:43:20] [SPEAKER_04]: he has a candy cane crutch in a hospital bed singing.

[00:43:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, if you're not supposed to laugh, what are you supposed to do?

[00:43:29] [SPEAKER_04]: What is the intended reaction when you see a grown man singing with candy cane decorated

[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_04]: things to help him walk out of the hospital room as an ambulance chaser?

[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Are you supposed to get really serious and go, this guy means business?

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_04]: You're supposed to go, this guy's funny and he should be my lawyer.

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_04]: You literally, you're supposed to laugh.

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_05]: What a fine legal mind.

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, I can't, I get it.

[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_04]: You're, you, you, you've had a fight with your dad.

[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_04]: You're sensitive about it.

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm not trying to say there's not merit of that, but you can't possibly imagine a world

[00:44:03] [SPEAKER_04]: where people don't see that.

[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_04]: A laughing is probably the best possible reaction.

[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_04]: Like those guys are showing him some respect.

[00:44:10] [SPEAKER_04]: He's got laughs from them.

[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_04]: That's impressive.

[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_04]: So that was crazy.

[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_04]: That's a crazy plot point.

[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_04]: And it was the, the one time that literally, it was a literal way.

[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_04]: What for me?

[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Like what's the intent?

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_04]: What were we supposed to do?

[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_03]: What you don't know is her dad's a veteran.

[00:44:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Funnier.

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_04]: It's funnier.

[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_04]: With Christmas themed crutches over there.

[00:44:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, what is he doing?

[00:44:32] [SPEAKER_05]: Those guys chuckling are going to remember that toll free number.

[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.

[00:44:36] [SPEAKER_05]: That's right.

[00:44:37] [SPEAKER_03]: It's time for what?

[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_03]: The Hallmark is where we wonder what could have been.

[00:44:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe have a guess of clarity questions that we still have.

[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_03]: What are we still wondering about?

[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_03]: You might be wondering.

[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Not more.

[00:44:45] [SPEAKER_03]: You won't.

[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Go ahead, Brian.

[00:44:47] [SPEAKER_01]: But how did Tony and Bree just get to take off to go up to Vermont?

[00:44:52] [SPEAKER_01]: The boss seemed very concerned about work hours and who's available.

[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And they just seem to be able to just take off.

[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_01]: That's true.

[00:44:59] [SPEAKER_03]: He does say to Bree, you're free Christmas, Steve.

[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Right?

[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_01]: So, just no explanation about how they were able to be free for that trip.

[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a good point.

[00:45:08] [SPEAKER_01]: What up with that?

[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_06]: That's really good.

[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_06]: What up with that?

[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Right?

[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, Alonzo mentioned it.

[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_06]: When will Danielle Monáe become a, you know, get her own movie here?

[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_06]: She elevated material.

[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_06]: I feel like she would bring a different energy.

[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_06]: So, I'm hoping the answer is 2025.

[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.

[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, but that's just me.

[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_08]: Yep.

[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_08]: No, it's not.

[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_08]: It's you.

[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_06]: Okay.

[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_06]: That's just all of us.

[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, baby.

[00:45:27] [SPEAKER_06]: Not just all of us here.

[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_06]: The collective.

[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_05]: Maybe in a movie with Janelle Monáe, I think that would be awesome.

[00:45:33] [SPEAKER_09]: Right?

[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_09]: Yes!

[00:45:35] [SPEAKER_09]: Um, I wanted to see more of that pregnant friend.

[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_09]: Why did they kind of drop that, huh?

[00:45:40] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_09]: Like, they're like, oh, she had the baby.

[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_09]: Here's a picture of a baby.

[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_05]: Here she is a year later.

[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_09]: Right.

[00:45:46] [SPEAKER_09]: I'm like, doesn't she work for this man's company?

[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_09]: Like, can she be in more?

[00:45:50] [SPEAKER_09]: Like, she was at, like, multiple parties, right?

[00:45:52] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[00:45:52] [SPEAKER_09]: I was like, she's, like, there.

[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_09]: She just didn't have to.

[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_03]: She's on maternity leave.

[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.

[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_03]: She's on maternity leave.

[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_09]: I understand maternity leave.

[00:45:58] [SPEAKER_09]: Okay, that's valid.

[00:45:58] [SPEAKER_09]: You want to get rid of it.

[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm hearing you want to get rid of maternity leave.

[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_01]: It's gotten out of house.

[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_01]: She should be around all the time is what you're saying.

[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just saying.

[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_01]: She should be at work.

[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_09]: Maybe the movie should just veered off to her.

[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_09]: I want to see her raising the baby.

[00:46:08] [SPEAKER_09]: Yes.

[00:46:09] [SPEAKER_09]: You know.

[00:46:09] [SPEAKER_09]: Sure, that's right.

[00:46:10] [SPEAKER_09]: She was fun.

[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_09]: Coming back to work.

[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_09]: She's got the baby in a baby's horn.

[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_09]: Those early weeks are so important.

[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_09]: Right.

[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_09]: They sure are.

[00:46:15] [SPEAKER_03]: And we should be brought into that.

[00:46:17] [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_03]: We should.

[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_03]: We want to support her.

[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_03]: However we can support her, we want to support her.

[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_03]: I think that's important.

[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.

[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Jax?

[00:46:25] [SPEAKER_08]: This is building on that.

[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, if they wanted to sell us on the fact that Chris McNally.

[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_08]: McNally.

[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_08]: McNally.

[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_08]: Not McGarry.

[00:46:34] [SPEAKER_04]: She knows a McNally or McGarry.

[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_04]: McNally.

[00:46:38] [SPEAKER_08]: McNally.

[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_08]: The Chris McNally refers to her son as his nephew.

[00:46:43] [SPEAKER_08]: And they're really close and he's like, I'll spoil him for the rest of his life.

[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_08]: We probably do need a little more investment in her.

[00:46:48] [SPEAKER_08]: So yeah, why can't she get her a movie?

[00:46:49] [SPEAKER_08]: What's going on there?

[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_08]: I agree.

[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Just a few things that I haven't really seen.

[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Did McNally have to fight for his right to party hair-wise?

[00:47:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Was that like a, hey, I'm not cutting my hair before this movie?

[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Did Monet bring two pair of leather pants and say, I'm wearing these and there's nothing

[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_03]: you can do about it?

[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_03]: These are things that we don't typically see on Hallmark Channel and I don't know how

[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_03]: much Hallmark Channel is now with these things that used to be like, you would never see the

[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_03]: hair that McNally has on a movie.

[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Past the ears?

[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_03]: What is this?

[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_03]: College?

[00:47:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Now, is it something that they're just like, do whatever you think is best or do you have

[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_03]: to like get approval or whatever with things like that?

[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Like two different leather pants.

[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_03]: What is this?

[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_03]: College?

[00:47:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.

[00:47:47] [SPEAKER_05]: I really want to know more about Lesbian Chef and also why is Lesbian Chef running the hot

[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_05]: chocolate cart?

[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Because she is a big enough deal that she is a name.

[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_05]: Like they talk about her like she's Nancy Silverdon or something.

[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_05]: Like she's a celebrity clearly because.

[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_04]: So of course hot chocolate cart.

[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:48:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:48:04] [SPEAKER_05]: She's going to be standing in the middle of the lobby like schlepping the hot chocolate

[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_05]: and doing it wrong.

[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_05]: I have many questions about her.

[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_03]: That might be why she's doing it.

[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_04]: She can't forward with Daniela Monet.

[00:48:13] [SPEAKER_04]: I guess.

[00:48:14] [SPEAKER_05]: That's where the action is.

[00:48:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I would.

[00:48:16] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to piggyback on Rise.

[00:48:19] [SPEAKER_04]: I did not watch a lot of Nickelodeon, which is the whole children's television program.

[00:48:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't have a lot of familiarity with Ms. Monet and she's wonderful and I want to see

[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_04]: her be the lead of a Hallmark movie or otherwise as soon as possible.

[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_04]: That's what I want.

[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_03]: So your piggyback is just the same.

[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_03]: It's the same.

[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_03]: In a sense.

[00:48:43] [SPEAKER_03]: We did it.

[00:48:44] [SPEAKER_04]: There's seven people.

[00:48:45] [SPEAKER_04]: What do you want?

[00:48:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I texted you a good one.

[00:48:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to make sure we got it.

[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Dan, I texted you a good one if you need one real quick there.

[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Sure did.

[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's see how good it is.

[00:48:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's find out.

[00:48:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Let me read it verbatim.

[00:48:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Here it is.

[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.

[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_04]: That's right.

[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_04]: My what the Hallmark is.

[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Why didn't Brian take his shirt off for the whole episode?

[00:49:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I know.

[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I was wondering.

[00:49:03] [SPEAKER_08]: What happened?

[00:49:04] [SPEAKER_04]: Although technically we didn't get to 25 in the Blitz.

[00:49:07] [SPEAKER_04]: We got to 24, 977.

[00:49:08] [SPEAKER_04]: That's why.

[00:49:09] [SPEAKER_04]: That's why.

[00:49:09] [SPEAKER_04]: That's why.

[00:49:10] [SPEAKER_04]: But you can go for it.

[00:49:10] [SPEAKER_08]: Do you want to take it off?

[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_08]: How are you feeling?

[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_04]: Technical.

[00:49:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Technical.

[00:49:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Your body, your choice.

[00:49:16] [SPEAKER_04]: All right.

[00:49:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Elizabeth is going to bring in our final boot shot.

[00:49:21] [SPEAKER_04]: So everybody grab a glass.

[00:49:22] [SPEAKER_04]: And we're going to go over our final tally here, which this is exciting.

[00:49:26] [SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for remembering.

[00:49:27] [SPEAKER_04]: We have spent the last 30 hours almost exactly raising money for beloved Asheville, a nonprofit,

[00:49:35] [SPEAKER_04]: boots on the ground, helping kids, helping adults, helping everyone with basic needs,

[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_04]: and just to live right now in a time that has been a pure horror for most people in Western North Carolina.

[00:49:50] [SPEAKER_04]: You guys have answered the bell over and over again.

[00:49:53] [SPEAKER_04]: A couple more to read out.

[00:49:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Courtney Boise, $300.

[00:49:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Whoa.

[00:49:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Renee Gilhart, Teresa Campbell.

[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_04]: So bummed to miss the festivities this weekend, but I have spent it with my grandkids at school events and building Lego sets,

[00:50:07] [SPEAKER_04]: and it's been so fun.

[00:50:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Hope you all had a great weekend.

[00:50:10] [SPEAKER_04]: It sounds like you did, Teresa.

[00:50:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Shannon Christensen, $200.

[00:50:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Jax Acts.

[00:50:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, wow.

[00:50:17] [SPEAKER_04]: This brings me to $300.

[00:50:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Any chance Jax will do a joint session for my niece and nephew?

[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[00:50:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I will answer that for her.

[00:50:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, she will.

[00:50:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, come on.

[00:50:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Snowbrainer.

[00:50:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I also would love for Dan to do a shot.

[00:50:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Good news, I've got one in my hand.

[00:50:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Julie Stanky, $25.

[00:50:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Jennifer Ehlers, $25.

[00:50:37] [SPEAKER_04]: Michelle Morris, $50.

[00:50:38] [SPEAKER_04]: And then I have one more.

[00:50:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Ms. Andy Grimes, $500.

[00:50:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow.

[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_04]: In honor of my mom, the last cookie in the Cookie Palooza, and an incredible woman with that donation,

[00:50:51] [SPEAKER_04]: bringing the total for the marathon to $27,285.

[00:50:59] [SPEAKER_04]: $27,285.

[00:51:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow.

[00:51:02] [SPEAKER_04]: With 273 individual donations.

[00:51:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow.

[00:51:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Unbelievable.

[00:51:07] [SPEAKER_04]: What a way to close out the marathon.

[00:51:09] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to take this shot.

[00:51:10] [SPEAKER_04]: We're going to wish you a Merry Christmas, and we're going to go on with our merry day and go to bed.

[00:51:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you so much.

[00:51:55] [SPEAKER_02]: It's at the end of the show.

[00:51:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you're listening to me.
