[00:00:00] He a brand welcome. I'm Jane Austen. And I love hallmark Jane Austen movies. I'm not

[00:00:09] doing Brian. I'm not Jane Austen. I'm doing brand doing Jane Austen. I like hallmark Jane

[00:00:17] Austen movies. I'm doing it. I'm not doing it. You were just you're. No, you can't. You can't. That's right. So you just had to take a take a week and stay at home. Right? Yeah. Yeah, I just I got a back brace on. I'm just getting everything. Where are you right now? Well, we got a three, four season porch area in the back of the house.

[00:01:41] Four season porch.

[00:01:43] So is there's no climate control in there?

[00:01:45] There are a couple of events, but you're doing I'm ramping up I'm ramping up to it yeah and so I says to the guy I says get this you know he just wasn't paying attention he's

[00:03:00] he's walking on mine so I go hey hey did. Go ahead, Aaron. I was just very excited for a proposal and it never happened. Aaron refused to leave my house until everyone's filing out and she's like, no, there's a

[00:04:25] chance.

[00:04:26] There's a chance.

[00:04:27] Yeah.

[00:04:28] Finally at like 2 a.m. to do a show or something like that, which we should actually talk to our friend to file that I can't even thought about this. Then, you know, I think it would be a good idea, personally, but that's just me. Speaking of good ideas, let's talk about love and Jane the second of the Love You Wary Jane Austin edition.

[00:05:41] Movies.

[00:05:43] Originally aired, this is love and Jane,

[00:05:45] originally aired on February 10th, 2024,

[00:05:47] and I went a little something like this. ISBNs yeah, they're typical bow ties and they're totally wearing trade their frayed jeans They're waffle makers They're their their their egg. Oh waffles don't need a maker Hot pockets their Nintendo Who are you describing you've described and they're sonic and knuckles and they're

[00:08:04] published a book yet and she's like it's called a goal and so she leaves the next day she wakes up to what's happening I love Jane thank you yeah

[00:08:12] pilot at TV such dt h that's good it's the good stuff there for I feel like I'm

[00:08:18] living a lie yeah the hat wasn't it yeah the hat is true I would wear this um so and telling her, hey, you should finish your book. Being a real Marty, am I right? And also being like, hey, is that your suit over that? Talk about Chev. And like- Jodelman Coler, a gentleman Coler. Jodelman Coler, you're on the line.

[00:09:40] Hello.

[00:09:41] Hey, gentleman Coler, how are you?

[00:09:43] I've been calling everybody in the neighborhood

[00:09:45] to ask them a series of questions.

[00:09:47] Go ahead. all that stuff and he's like, I don't know, digital hubs and stuff. And so she finally does a formal pitch on a bookstore and how it should continue to sell real books. Then she writes her, she finishes her book and she is on the cusp of publishing this.

[00:11:02] And the company that is the most interested I love the gentleman calling. You've got Jim Beam in the bottle. Yes, you'd better let him out. What about my water? Oh, do you have aquafiner in the water? You could have just done aquafita. She's a, you know, the fine family insists. Okay.

[00:12:20] Yes, I did.

[00:12:20] I live around.

[00:12:24] Anyway, he's like, yeah, basically that's what I did.

[00:12:26] So she's a little bit of mad. clear as crystal i don't know what we could want of the synopsis uh... we're going to take a quick break and come back to break this movie down with four segments here on deck the hallmark welcome back everybody we're talking about love and jane the second of the

[00:13:40] jane austin love you where he flex second already second already fly and uh... per capita of the film she's on it less than will kimpo's with his garb and so therefore you really like this week at the right now yeah i mean i i listen when you worked as hard as i did at hofford uh... you tend to use words correctly uh... so yeah i like this one more and i you know as purely on wardrobe

[00:16:22] almost entirely yes

[00:16:25] uh... when they're on TV, they got the makeup and they got everything and it looks like they're the best. They're the best they could possibly look. And then when you meet them in person, you're like, oh, they look more like a normal human being. You actually have your better in person. You have your top 10 ugliest hall stars in real life list. Right here you go. I do, right, locked and loaded here. Number one, Christopher Polow.

[00:17:40] Wow.

[00:17:41] No, that guy, you kidding me?

[00:17:43] All I'm saying is this is, I think-

[00:17:45] All I'm saying-

[00:17:46] The leads had any chemistry. Walmart plot line of like, I was proposed to and hated this dude and left him and feel like I'll never find love or career or blah, blah, blah. And then air shows up and then, you know, there's not really a story. There's not really much of a conflict hardly aside from he bought the company that's going to publish your book. But even like what we're trying to get by the end of this aside from these two crazy

[00:19:03] kids together, there's a crazy take. I don't think it's that crazy. All right. I don't think it's that crazy. I didn't like the

[00:20:22] garbs and we'll get some breaches and you're like, I love seeing a success story. You know, somebody who's who's fought the good fight, had a bar, it's going to sell it, maybe make some money. It's an American dream. That's right. Other guys, a billionaire can help them out. No, Mr. Wickham's the American

[00:21:41] dreams. We love that guy. I love Mr. Wick all right so my way what's if you're catching what i'm saying yeah so far so much better this is this is this goes right in line with uh... with what she was arguing

[00:23:01] lily's arguing for it i had on bluetooth headphones it was terrible

[00:23:05] i've gone back to wired headphones like that. It's just such a lame thing. The tech entrepreneur, then he bought a bookstore to help gather metadata, metadata that would help drive traffic. It just was so bad. It's such a bad use of the different walks of life, which is wonderful. And I absolutely believe that there are people from all walks of life that love the Jane Austen, cleaning truckers. What I don't believe exists is a trucker hat that says I love Jane. I just don't think it quite exists.

[00:25:41] I think it should.

[00:25:42] I'm trying to find the Jane Seymour fan group.

[00:25:45] Yeah.

[00:25:46] I think it should exist.

[00:25:47] I think it. Yeah, that that could be anybody. It could be any Jane Yeah, could be the one from the maroon 5 album. Yeah, any of them. There's still one with all the songs all about her

[00:27:03] Yeah, but what I'm saying is is my man shows up every meeting with the same outfit and hat on

[00:28:03] would expect to hear in a Jane Austen move while they dance. But Spotify played like some high techno stuff.

[00:28:05] Yes, absolutely.

[00:28:09] Go Jane, which would have been funny if they just, if they would have said play exquisite

[00:28:15] dance music and some sort of techno beat.

[00:28:18] Imagine the embodiment of Jane Austen hearing techno music for the first time.

[00:28:23] Come on.

[00:28:24] Just didn't do enough with that. There's a kid section. It's a fun, inviting, cozy place to be in the middle of Main Street in downtown Greenville. This looks like they went into a warehouse and just were like put up a few shelves and then add pipe in the smoke so you know people are smoking a pipe and then we'll call it a bookstore

[00:29:40] that everyone wants to hang out at.

[00:29:42] This bookstore is such a bad bookstore None of them were actively like it was the reason they were there was because of the drinking none of them were I just The fact that they just couldn't have a place to host this because this one bar is closing down was crazy to me Also, the Jane Austen goes bit and I said this a little bit my my hot take but uh-huh You're 100% right you forget

[00:31:00] That the the bit of this movie is Jane Austen is a ghost

[00:31:05] helping

[00:31:06] prod our lead character

[00:32:01] he would be, yours would. He'd be all right.

[00:32:03] I just, I feel like it was a weird move

[00:32:05] to show that she's old fashioned.

[00:32:07] To your points, Brian, she hates the internet,

[00:32:10] but uses modern technology regularly.

[00:32:13] And then they wanna establish that she's old fashioned

[00:32:16] by having her husband, or no, I'm sorry, her fiancee,

[00:32:19] or almost fiancee, her boyfriend explain to the guy

[00:32:24] that on Tom Collins' drink, you just don't order anymore,

[00:32:27] bring her this movie. Correct. Yes. Where'd she come from? Where'd she go? Jane Austen, I don't know. She appears, I kind of give some wisdom, and then it's like you've seen it through. She walks up.

[00:33:40] Disappears in the world acquiring companies. Apparently only acquires local companies now. I just, it doesn't seem like the local boss in companies. These two people match up at all. And it doesn't seem like they would live happily ever after at all. So that would be my question.

[00:35:02] We did everybody congratulations.

[00:35:06] Brian, you take the rest of the week off.
