[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I think I've mentioned it before but I do like to brag about my hometown
[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_00]: We have the winningest football team in the state, Mount Carmelary Red Tornadoes
[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_00]: What did you say?
[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_00]: The no
[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So there's a sign that calls us the winningest
[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Right, but let me try to get that
[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the Mount Carmelary Red Tornadoes
[00:01:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Mount Carmel Red Tornadoes
[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_01]: The Mount Carmel
[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_01]: There was an extra syllable in there somewhere
[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_01]: What makes the tornadoes red?
[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I did?
[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Mount Carmel area red tornado
[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, area
[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I feel better now
[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Why is it area?
[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_02]: What do you mean to say aerial?
[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Area
[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_00]: So the actual name of the school is Mount Carmel area
[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_00]: So Mount Carmel area red tornado
[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_00]: It's the name
[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just the end or around Carmel area high school
[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_00]: You know what's so funny?
[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_00]: You've never thought about it
[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I've never thought about it
[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_00]: But now that I'm saying it, you guys are totally right
[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_00]: That is weird
[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Mount Carmel area is just Mount Carmel
[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_00]: There's no other
[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It's that's what that's what the name implies
[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_02]: What the area is that's typically how it works
[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's strange
[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, how about those red tornadoes
[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_02]: What makes the tornadoes red?
[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it like a lot of clay?
[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Does it pick up the clay?
[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Is it like a mining thing?
[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_01]: A lot of just a mining town red
[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_00]: No, we really should be the miners
[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_00]: No, but that's Shikolimi
[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_00]: These are all
[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Shikolimi
[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_00]: What?
[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Shikolimi
[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Shikolimi area
[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the Shikolimi area high school
[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_01]: is a different animal altogether for sure
[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Completely
[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_01]: When is high school football program in the country?
[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_00]: In the state
[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_00]: In the state of Pennsylvania
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay
[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Is that like
[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_02]: That makes more sense because
[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Is that true?
[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Is that not going to do with it?
[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it true or is it just something they say?
[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, did I sing in state championship?
[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know
[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I did
[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_00]: You guys, I did
[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Did you sing?
[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Did you say sing?
[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay
[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_00]: The national anthem
[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I've performed
[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_01]: You sang a song
[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_01]: You did it by yourself?
[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, it was a four of us
[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a quartet
[00:02:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow, what did you call yourselves?
[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, we it was just
[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_00]: It was like the four people who volunteered
[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_01]: The four people who volunteered area
[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_01]: quartet
[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly
[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah
[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a real ring to it
[00:03:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand
[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_01]: What do you mean a four people that they volunteered just
[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a state championship game
[00:03:04] [SPEAKER_01]: They're like
[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_01]: We need four people to volunteer
[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, was it a one time performance?
[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_01]: What?
[00:03:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So we were basically our choir
[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_00]: We were the the soloists in our choir
[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_00]: So we volunteered to do it
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Look, it is not
[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Sports were the thing in my school
[00:03:22] [SPEAKER_00]: So like it I was the lead in every high school musical
[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And no one was competing against me
[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_00]: It was not like it's not really something to brag about
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: It was like, oh, Jackie, you'll do it
[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Did you feel good after you all performed?
[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Did you feel good about that?
[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I actually did if I'll if I'll
[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and we won the game
[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Why'd you why'd you why'd the group break up?
[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_02]: What happened?
[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Was there a big fight?
[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_00]: No, we just all went to different colleges
[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_02]: All right, fair enough
[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_00]: There's some creative differences here and there
[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I hear they're bringing you bringing you all back
[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_02]: At this year's state tournament championship
[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you remember that show?
[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_00]: What was it Kristen Bell hosted it on Disney Plus?
[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Encore and they would go back
[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And they would as adults
[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Like our age going back and doing their high school musicals
[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Good gosh
[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that sounds fun
[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how I missed that show
[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_00]: It was actually an amazing show
[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was amazing
[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_02]: That they you should have done that
[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_02]: But for the national anthem
[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Jacks we're so happy that you're with us
[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And we're so happy that you're going to be joining us
[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_02]: That's Girls Could podcast
[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know that
[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that is new
[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_02]: So this is actually really exciting
[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_02]: A lot of people a lot of people think that we're
[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Us as guys we are the only ones that can't
[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_02]: The only ones that can't
[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And we are here to say no
[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Because we're boys
[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right
[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_02]: No, sir
[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, ma'am
[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right
[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Girls can do it too
[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right
[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Which is very exciting
[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And we're excited to announce
[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_02]: That you'll be joining us
[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_02]: For the upcoming season of the chicken salad chicken show
[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Chicken sisters
[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_02]: The chicken sisters is the name of it
[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Which is exciting
[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_02]: A show that we know
[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_02]: A lot about
[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So much about
[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Dan and I we walk in every day
[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_01]: We read the synopsis
[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And we just get
[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Poem
[00:05:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't act like you don't come in every morning
[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_01]: And kiss your Leah Thompson poster
[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I know, I know
[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_02]: But Jacks you know about it too
[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So I'll let you tell the listeners about the show
[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And what you're most excited about
[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I think what I'm most excited about for the chicken
[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Sisters
[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Chicken sisters
[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to keep calling them the chicken little sisters
[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay
[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, maybe we can
[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's
[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_00]: But you know Leah Thompson
[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_00]: She's a treasure
[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Like we've seen what Andy McDowell
[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_00]: When they get these formidable women
[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_00]: When we Andy McDowell
[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_00]: What she is doing on that other show
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right
[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh she's so good on that other show
[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_00]: She's so good on that other show
[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_02]: For those that don't know the chicken sisters is coming out next month
[00:05:51] [SPEAKER_02]: What is it about?
[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That's mean spirited
[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's all guess because I don't know
[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's about a rat
[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_01]: They run a chicken restaurant
[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Chicken fingers
[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_01]: A chicken restaurant
[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm going with
[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I think they run a chicken rescue
[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_01]: They rescue chickens
[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_01]: They rescue chickens
[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah
[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I think there are sisters that are scared of everything
[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_01]: They're chicken sisters
[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh that's good
[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And I will say this
[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I do know that Leah Thompson is in it
[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_01]: And also Wendy Malik
[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_01]: The also formidable Wendy Malik is in it
[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Wait, is Wendy Malik actually in this?
[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I think she is
[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_01]: You know a lot about this show
[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I just remember you reading the cast
[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And those key rings
[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even remember doing that
[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_02]: This is all news to me
[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Even though you claim I read it
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm 95% sure that both Leah Thompson and Wendy Malik
[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Are in this television program
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I love that
[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh it is chicken restaurants
[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_01]: That's actually me
[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Competing
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Two competing chicken restaurants
[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Whose families are feuding
[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's like a monogies in Capulets
[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Family feud
[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Steve Harvey is going to be on it
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_02]: That's exciting
[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay
[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Top five fans are on the board
[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_02]: We're talking love on the sidelines
[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Why?
[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Why, Brandon?
[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Why is a good question
[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think the best answer is
[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Because
[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_02]: There
[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Here's Aaron likes it
[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I think that was the main reason
[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_01]: We get recommended a handful of movies
[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_01]: That are not Christmas movies on the regular
[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_01]: And we never have a place for them
[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_01]: You know
[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, and the ones we get
[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Recommended are love on the sidelines
[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Presence of love
[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Which is a movie that aired
[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I think on movies and mysteries at some point
[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And somehow we missed it
[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And then there's another one
[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_02]: There's something about a hot air balloon
[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I think at some point
[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_01]: So a while back we were like
[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's find a time to do these
[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And then we just forgot
[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_01]: And then we had a spot
[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that the real
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_01]: The straw that broke the camel
[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_01]: With Nikki Deloche Michael Ray
[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_01]: That one too
[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah
[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_02]: The straw that broke that camel
[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Was the
[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_02]: The Tubi Hustler movie last week
[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And it was like
[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, why do that when we could do this?
[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think we're gonna do this maybe
[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Because this movie is guaranteed
[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_01]: To not be 105 minutes long
[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's true
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true
[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true
[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Any home
[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk about it
[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I have a synopsis for those of you that maybe
[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Didn't watch it recently
[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you watched it back in 2016
[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe you've never seen it before in your life
[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll tell you what it's about
[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Originally aired on January 16th 2020
[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_02]: 20s
[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Nope 20
[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh oh
[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm stuck in a loop
[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh
[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh oh
[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll make it up to you 2016
[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And what a little something like this
[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Laurel is hanging out with her friend
[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Eating bread and whatnot
[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_02]: They're at a bar
[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_02]: While the big miners football game is on the TV
[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's why Jax's high school couldn't be the miners
[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It was already a miners student
[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_02]: There's nothing you can do
[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_02]: There's bad news though
[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Danny Holland
[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Star quarterback got sacked big time
[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's gonna be out for a while
[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: You had a high ankle sprain, Dana
[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Have you had a high ankle sprain?
[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I have
[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, not fun
[00:09:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Laurel is looking for a new roommate
[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_02]: And in the process gets a new gig
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_02]: As a personal assistant for hot shot deal makers
[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_02]: She goes to her first client's house
[00:09:20] [SPEAKER_02]: And it is the one, the only, Danny Holland
[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_02]: And Danny is not thrilled
[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_02]: He does not want a female assistance
[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Ugh, girls as assistants?
[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Get out of here
[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_02]: He just wants to be able to walk around in his boxers
[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And not say sorry
[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_02]: He wants to be able to have somebody help him
[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, with the weights and whatnot
[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Girls can't do that
[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_02]: But there's no other option on such short notice
[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And so he's like, you know what?
[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, we'll give this a shot
[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And the first day is full of, as Danny says, fumbles
[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Because he's a football player
[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_02]: But she comes back for day two
[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_02]: And he's impressed that she even showed up
[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_02]: She is committed to not only keeping this job
[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_02]: But she's gonna put in the work to learn some of these
[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Football terminologies that Danny is so fond of using
[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And really wants to help Danny
[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_02]: As he continues to work on getting better
[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_02]: And get back on that field
[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_02]: He is impressed with her and her classic car
[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Not something that girls drive, Harry
[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Classic cars?
[00:10:34] [SPEAKER_02]: What?
[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I know
[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Then she offers to set up a romantic night for him
[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And his model girlfriend
[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_02]: And she's just really impressed
[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Like she always goes the extra mile
[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And bonus point
[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Her, his dog really likes her
[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Which is very exciting
[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_02]: So you might be wondering
[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I got lost in the middle of that
[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_02]: You might be wondering
[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_02]: What's the big deal though?
[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_02]: So what?
[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_02]: He's impressed with her
[00:11:04] [SPEAKER_02]: What could possibly go wrong?
[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, everyone knows that once you
[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_02]: So you got a cool car
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_01]: That don't impress me much
[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly right
[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_02]: But everybody knows that once a girl impresses you
[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_02]: It's only a matter of time before you're attracted to them
[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And that is exactly what happens here in this movie
[00:11:19] [SPEAKER_02]: They, she begins to be attracted by her
[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_02]: He touches her shoulder
[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_02]: She touches his hand
[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh boy
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_02]: This is exactly what we were concerned about
[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_02]: To begin with
[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_02]: They gotta keep things professional
[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_02]: But one night his ego gets hurt
[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And he makes her come over and talk about it
[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And like it was a big emergency
[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_02]: So she leaves her sister's wedding
[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And when she shows up
[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_02]: He's like
[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_02]: You think I'm only in it about myself
[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I only care about me and my footballs
[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_02]: And she's like
[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_02]: She's so mad
[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe you made me leave my sister's wedding for this
[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_02]: They're arguing
[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_02]: They're yelling
[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_02]: They're kissing
[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_02]: It's an angry kiss
[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_02]: This is crazy
[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Something that should have happened in the Costa Rica movie
[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_02]: But I don't need to bring that back up
[00:12:08] [SPEAKER_02]: They try to push their feelings aside
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_02]: You know
[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Professional
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_02]: He gets cleared to play
[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Which is very exciting for everybody
[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Because just a little bit ago
[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_02]: He was on that crutch
[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And he was limping
[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Not anymore
[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_02]: No, no
[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_02]: He's ready to go
[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_02]: So they agree
[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_02]: We gotta keep things professional
[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_02]: They shouldn't date
[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And so when he sees her laughing with one of his teammate
[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_02]: He immediately assumes that they are heading for marriage
[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And so he gets very sad
[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_02]: What am I gonna do
[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_02]: When I said that we should keep things professional
[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't expect her to actually start talking to other people
[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And laughing and whatnot
[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And so he lets her go
[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't fire her
[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just too painful to be around
[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_02]: But then he finds out that his buddy is not dating her at all
[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's just somebody else
[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So
[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_02]: His sister
[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Is this
[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_02]: What?
[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_02]: His sister
[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah
[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right
[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Which is fine
[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the guy's not
[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, yeah
[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't care if you're into my sister
[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't be into my girl
[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Is what he's thinking
[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_02]: So he has this party thing
[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_02]: That he has to throw
[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_02]: That she basically put on
[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_02]: And at this party
[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_02]: He tells her how he feels
[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And she's like, great
[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_02]: That's wonderful
[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_02]: The feelings mutual
[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause
[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_02]: And they kiss
[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause she's a girl
[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And now my friends was
[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Love on the sidelines
[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_01]: We did it
[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Football
[00:13:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Foot
[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_01]: That's why we're doing this
[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Football starts in a couple weeks
[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Pre-season's already started
[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Go football
[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_01]: College football starting
[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_02]: When all of you love college football
[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_02]: You know I love it
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna talk more about it
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_02]: On the other side of this break
[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Here on
[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Deck the Hallmark
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Jax, do you wanna do a
[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Fantasy football league with me
[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's just the two of us
[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Just trying to figure it out
[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_01]: You can draft any player
[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_01]: You want in the entire league
[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Every week
[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I love this
[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it actually would be
[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Really fun to do
[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_00]: A
[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Deck the Hallmark Fantasy Football League
[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_01]: We tried it a couple years
[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_02]: We could do Deck the Hallmark Host
[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Fantasy Football
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_02]: That'd be pretty fun
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's a pretty good idea
[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I would love to give that a try
[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Do Brandon and I get to be on the same team
[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_00]: No, that's not how that works at all
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_01]: You're going down
[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_01]: But also we need
[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Cause you're a girl
[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, girls can't play fantasy football
[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you kidding me
[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Also we need to podcast
[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Like we need to podcast the draft
[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's pretty good
[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll hang out and we do a draft
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_02]: That's pretty fun
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a fun idea
[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll draft live
[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_02]: For Brandwell Jam Plus subscribers
[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not a bad idea
[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Write that down, Aaron
[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_02]: If you don't mind
[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Not that you're a girl
[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_02]: You could do what you want to
[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right, yeah, yeah
[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_02]: But if you could write that down
[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_02]: That'd be really good
[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this is more of an assistant thing too
[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So like I don't know if you can handle it
[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's true
[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_02]: You are a girl
[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk about love on the sidelines
[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_02]: If for anybody that's getting mad
[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Really haven't seen this movie
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_02]: That's, this is the movie
[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_02]: That is exactly what happens
[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_02]: All movie long
[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_02]: We're doing a thing
[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_02]: We only talk like this occasionally
[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_02]: But we're up in the ante today
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Because of this movie
[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_02]: And I just wanted to get that out of the way
[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk about love on the sidelines
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_02]: We're going to start with a hot take
[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_02]: We're going to share
[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly how we felt about this movie
[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_02]: We're going to see if Jacks can handle going first
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Jacks, what are your thoughts on love on the sidelines?
[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_00]: So I know this is a beloved Hallmark classic
[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_00]: My mom loves it
[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Aaron loves it
[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Multiple people love it
[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_00]: It's written by a sister writing team
[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_01]: The chicken sisters, I believe wrote it
[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Is that not?
[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_01]: No?
[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Different sisters
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, go ahead
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, different sisters
[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_00]: But equally talented
[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And I know about as much of this sister writing team
[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_00]: As I do about the chicken sisters
[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And Terry Ingram directs a lot of great Hallmark movies
[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Here we go
[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_00]: This one was a swing and a miss for me
[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I know that's a baseball metaphor
[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_00]: But it was a fumble
[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a fumble
[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a fumble for me
[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I just couldn't get into the end zone
[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Football metaphors
[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, it was
[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Look, there were some really great things in here
[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_00]: That I'll talk about
[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_00]: And all the feels and everything like that
[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_00]: But I found this to be just unbelievable
[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_00]: And how it infuriated me at nearly every turn
[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And how we didn't know where the chemistry was
[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_00]: There were a couple of actors in here
[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_00]: That legitimately had good chemistry with people
[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_00]: That I'll break down a little bit more
[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_00]: But I would just say that this was mostly like
[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm feeling embarrassed for them watching this
[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_00]: It feels awkward
[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And then, you know
[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_00]: But I love the people love it
[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't want to yuck your yums
[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And please, you can have it
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just not my
[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not my thing
[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you alluding to the tension between her and her sister?
[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_02]: They're friends
[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_02]: They're friends
[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, oh, no, Patty
[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no, Patty
[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, yeah, wait, let's talk about it
[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Patty, the new roommate
[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Not the old roommate
[00:17:15] [SPEAKER_00]: She comes in and is
[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's just be clear
[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, sexy as all get out
[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I looked up Louisa after
[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm following her on Instagram
[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not weird
[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Is an incredible actor
[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And also, but just there's this chemistry there
[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_00]: And she's smart
[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_00]: She's fun
[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_00]: She's sensible
[00:17:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Like there's all these things that she's really attractive
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I think they had more chemistry
[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_00]: than she did with her actual
[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't disagree
[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think she had more chemistry
[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_00]: With the nice football player
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Than she did with the mean one that she ended up with
[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, then he was so mean
[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_01]: She ended up with them
[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's right
[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes
[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I couldn't
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't untangle it
[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And there were good performances in it
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_00]: So it was hard not to see the stark contrast of like
[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_00]: There are these people who could be her suitors
[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_00]: That she's just not picking up on
[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Because she's going with the guy who's mean to her
[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think she needs therapy
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_02]: You girls
[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_02]: You girls and your bad boys
[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right
[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_02]: There's girls
[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_02]: It's impossible
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_02]: It's impossible
[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_02]: She needed safety
[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Would you guys consider yourself that?
[00:18:18] [SPEAKER_02]: What she thinks she's going to be a professional assistant
[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_02]: She's a girl
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Or are you going to ask if we consider ourselves bad boys?
[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I was going to ask if you
[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_00]: If you consider yourself bad boys
[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Or if you've ever considered yourself bad boys
[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_01]: No, god no
[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_01]: This guy
[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean compared to him, yeah
[00:18:33] [SPEAKER_01]: But that was just
[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Just by comparison
[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know
[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I could even pull it off
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I wear a leather jacket sometimes though
[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And I will mess you up
[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_02]: If you come near me
[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I will sucker punch you right to the old
[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Schnas
[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of times in that sentence
[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Where it could have gone a different direction
[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Let me intercept it from you
[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_02]: And I will take it
[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Get the mic
[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll take it from here
[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what happens when a girl tries to throw a football
[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I know, I know
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_02]: A lot of times
[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Over the years, Dan, you and I have seen
[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Bad movies
[00:19:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Hallmark, like parodies
[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_02]: We've seen a couple of those
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, Christmas movie, Christmas
[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_02]: That one from that guy that we saw
[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And he was on the show
[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Remember that guy?
[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Some other random ones that are like
[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_02]: This is a parody
[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_02]: We had a suspicion that the QVC Plus movie
[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_02]: From a couple years ago was a parody
[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_02]: This movie
[00:19:34] [SPEAKER_02]: And the problem with all of those is they don't quite
[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_02]: They don't quite bring it home
[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_02]: They don't quite go past the old
[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Pickskin touchdown zone
[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And this movie did
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_02]: This movie is a perfect Hallmark parody
[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And I loved every second of it
[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It is ridiculous
[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_02]: It is wacky
[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And it should come as no surprise
[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_02]: We don't go back in time very often anymore
[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And every time we do
[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just like this feels like home
[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It feels like home
[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_02]: It feels
[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Feels nice
[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Massage-y
[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly right
[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly right
[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Girls can't do stuff
[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Listen, we don't need it all the time
[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_02]: We don't need all the time
[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I am thrilled for the progress we've made here
[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_02]: With this network that we cover
[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_02]: But boy, howdy
[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes it's just nice to get back to the good old days
[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?
[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And this movie was ridiculous
[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Make America great again over here
[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Make Hallmark great again
[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly right
[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_02]: This movie, like if I sat you down
[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_02]: And I didn't tell you anything about it
[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_02]: You would assume it's a parody
[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_02]: It's so over the top
[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_02]: The amount of times it's just like girls can do what?
[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy
[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe it actually
[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Like they were serious
[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_02]: And I loved every second of it
[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Ridiculous
[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Ridiculous in the best ways
[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Dana?
[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean both of these two have said it
[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's like
[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_01]: There are about 15 touch points in this movie
[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Where in a normal Hallmark movie they would go
[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, this probably doesn't sound great
[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_01]: We need to dial it down
[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And this movie's like
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_01]: What if we turned it to 11?
[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Every time there's a moment in this movie
[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_01]: That you would think they would play
[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Normally they just go the other direction
[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_01]: With it and go
[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Girls can't be assistant
[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a scene in this movie
[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Where a guy is getting made fun of
[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_01]: In a locker room
[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_01]: By other grown men
[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Because his personal assistant is female
[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a real scene in this movie
[00:21:35] [SPEAKER_01]: That really happens
[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And it also plays very heavily into that thing that
[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_01]: In college and in high school
[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I had buddies
[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_01]: And they would be like
[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Bro, I met this girl
[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And she likes all the things that I like
[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's like she likes football
[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And cars and blah blah blah
[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And you hopefully grow out of that
[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_01]: As a human being
[00:21:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And realize it's great
[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_01]: For people to be passionate about
[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_01]: What they're passionate about
[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Not find someone that just wants to
[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Follow you around for all of your passions
[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_01]: All the time
[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_01]: It can be more of a symbiotic relationship
[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_01]: This movie believes that that evolution never happened
[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It just is
[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_01]: A different world
[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And because it embraces this
[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Like this ludicrous premise
[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_01]: At every turn
[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_01]: When it has a chance to dial it back
[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And it leans in
[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It's so terrible that it is memorable
[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It is definitely memorable
[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_01]: And I understand why
[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I hated it
[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_01]: But I understand why people love it
[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_01]: It does stick out
[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_01]: You're not gonna forget this one
[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_01]: This one is not gonna be one
[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_01]: That you forget
[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Where he literally ruins her one night off
[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_01]: In five weeks or whatever
[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And she gets real mad at him
[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And he kisses her
[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Like there's just no forgetting
[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_01]: What this movie decides to pass as
[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Romance
[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_01]: And so it is one of a kind
[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't know football well
[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_01]: No
[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Does it
[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Have some very problematic elements
[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely
[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_01]: But kudos to Hallmark for just leaning completely into it
[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_00]: I do
[00:23:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Also, I don't know if that was pun intended, Dan
[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_00]: But you said passes for romance
[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_00]: And then I thought that would be a great title for this movie
[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_01]: It passes for romance
[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right
[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I do love that the basically the whole like
[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Crux to not wanting a female assistant is just because you have to wear pants around them
[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like
[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_01]: It's basically like how am I gonna have locker room talk
[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah
[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_01]: With that with without uh with a girl around
[00:23:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it is it is just and I you know
[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_01]: If you if you couldn't talk like that with a girl around how appropriate was it?
[00:23:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I don't know what like
[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_01]: What in the world are you talking about dude
[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And then it's one thing that that he doesn't want a female around because of that like that is what it is
[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_01]: But then to take the leap from that to girls don't know how to be assist
[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Like a girl couldn't possibly be an assistant to a football player
[00:24:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Like she couldn't even
[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_01]: She couldn't there's no way she could do it. Like what are you kidding me? Are you crazy?
[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Like that that's what we were dealing with
[00:24:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think I think what even felt even more uncomfortable of course there's like sexism
[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Is alive and well in our society, but this almost felt like a case of
[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Severe arrested development with this guy the way he talks like it was actually a little bit like
[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Instead of me. Yes, was I mad at how some of the things shook out? Yes
[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_00]: But a lot of the stuff I was like are you okay? Like is he is he
[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_01]: There could be an early case of cte here
[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Some of the some of the lines that he has
[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_01]: are like
[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Bro, are you 12 years old? Like it was it was it was something
[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_02]: as the only one of us that uh has worked under the uh
[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_02]: A regime that okayed this movie
[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, there was this the prevalent culture
[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_02]: At homework when you worked there when you would walk would be allowed to see you and be like
[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh your girl. Wow
[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Like how low is it like for you? This is great
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I will say that
[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_00]: When
[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Shal and I got hired at hallmark. We were in our you know, maybe like late 20s or something
[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_00]: So very much very much women
[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Or something or something uh all we would hear is like oh my gosh. It's the girls
[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_00]: From everyone men women like that's what girls
[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we love the girls until they didn't love the girls
[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow until they didn't until they didn't that's bubbly sesh dot com. I believe bubbly sesh dot com
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, and that's what happens when you put women in leadership they come in and they say let's get rid of the girls
[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right. That's what never happened if we just let let the men run things. That's right
[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_01]: You guys think girls can podcast get out of here
[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I do think it's easier for girls to impress men than women
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh if we're gonna unpack that
[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I like that
[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I I think that that is
[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_00]: a
[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Harsh reality
[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah
[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Man well
[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Stuff for all the fields before we talk about what this was if he gave us uh gave us feels and whatnot and uh
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna kick it back to jacks who's already impressed us so much today, but let's see what she's got
[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Anything anything give you feels in this movie
[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, so I think that I love that
[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_00]: The dog it's a girl right but named newt for newt rockney. I think that's adorable
[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, I love if we're talking about parody, but like classic old classic hallmark
[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I think this girlfriend villain is hilarious over the top. She's playing this pitch perfect like
[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_00]: No nuance, but that wasn't her assignment at all. No and she's she's killing it
[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_01]: She's basically they're basically being a paid escort. That's just basically what you need to be 100
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And it is it is cringe, but she did exactly what she's supposed to do and she nailed it
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_00]: And then I do have to say the the nice
[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh football player that ends up dating his sister which that was a wild ride
[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_00]: He was really giving me like handsome flirty fun feels as was
[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Patty the new roommate and I just was like, okay. These are two these are two people that I want to see
[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Lead a hallmark movie with each other sure or not with each other
[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_01]: But I just want to see more of them. He's been in one not in hallmark. We covered it on a different network and
[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_01]: It is something a venue. What was it a vineyard romance or a vineyard romance?
[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it was like a zoom-o movie or something. It's uh, it's not great
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I give it a go. But yeah
[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_00]: That's you say zoom you say zoom-o and I'm like, okay. That's another company that I have to contact and beg for a job
[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I
[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Was an ax
[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_02]: You laugh I'm not kidding. It's x wait for real. Yeah x u o m o. That's exactly right
[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's real. Okay. Yeah, I'll look into it. That's right
[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, but you know what's the best out of all the companies is philo. Uh,
[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_02]: We're on there you could watch us right now. I think that's pretty fun
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, my all the feels
[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Is the angry kiss and if you listened
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Back to Tuesday's episode where we talked about Costa Rica
[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_02]: You heard all of us talk about how mad we were that they didn't kiss
[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_02]: In the rain while fighting
[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_02]: And while it was not raining
[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_02]: During this angry kiss, I'm just happy that it happened because it always is great when it happens
[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And it made you know the fact that the reasoning behind
[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Calling her over
[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Unforgivable an awful sin unforgivable, but you forget about it though because
[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_02]: They angry kiss and you're like, yeah
[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_02]: This is awesome. You forget why she got there the first place. It doesn't matter anymore. You mean really you mean
[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_02]: He specifically I forget because I'm like, yeah
[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Girls so that made me happy dato the best angry kisses are where both people have a reason to be angry
[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_01]: That was not one of them. My feels is very simple. It's joe thysman
[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_01]: joe thysman a
[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_01]: A very venerable
[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_01]: well known
[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_01]: NFL quarterback for years and years the years
[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Decides he's gonna act in this movie and it is a riot
[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_01]: He plays the leading guy's father. He gets like three scenes
[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a scene where he gives a line delivery that is not english
[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, it's pretty great
[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_01]: He is just he has two close-up winking scenes for some reason
[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, every time he's on screen. I had a ball and I laughed really really hard. So
[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_02]: There's that. I'll say a quick break. We'll come back. We'll get to the way one the what the hallmark here on jack the hallmark
[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Welcome back everybody guys girls
[00:30:23] [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't matter not here not here right now right now
[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, we're talking love on the sideline from 2016. Why because we can it's time for the wait
[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_02]: What it is where we talk about what in this movie. Let us go wait. What jacks anything stick out to you
[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_01]: What if we before jacks answers and I just cut you off? What if we just covered the winter fest movies from 2016?
[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's for the best
[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_01]: One of the winter fest movies from eight years ago. What if that was what we did try and stop us?
[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Why are we doing it? It's winter fest from 2016. Duh. What else would we be a classic?
[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_02]: We uh, we'll do another show today's big thing where it's a time capsule of 2016
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a really great job. Make sure you invite me to that please. Yeah, of course
[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I have I have quite a few but I've limited it to three
[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_00]: um, okay, so when and like we see that she's very protective of him and even like is
[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, um reluctant to let his mom and his sister in we see that later
[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_00]: But initially when we see this
[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Very attractive clearly a football player black man come to the door and she resisted
[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_00]: This is the best that gives that gives cringe vibes
[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_00]: And then I thought nothing could top her not letting him in because clearly he's friends with this guy like it makes sense, but then he
[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Picks her up consent picks her up and it it is um
[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_00]: It is wild. It is a wild moment in time that it was upsetting all around
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I think on top of that were you done with that one or were you moving on?
[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I'm done with that one. I'm done with that one on top of that
[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_01]: He introduces himself
[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_01]: As though the fact she does not know who he is
[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Is a crime against humanity
[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_01]: He's a tight end in the nfl
[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Aside from travis kelsey over the last year
[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_01]: The majority of people on planet earth could not name you one tight end in the nfl
[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Under any circumstance and this guy's like i'm isa haward b word that basically what he says
[00:32:26] [SPEAKER_01]: That's basically what he does and she's like, I don't know who you are. I'm sorry
[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, then let me lift you out of the way that is that's what happens there bro
[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_01]: You're not famous
[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_01]: You're just not fit you can walk the street any tight end in america that plays football can walk the street your whatever your favorite team is
[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Their tight end can walk the streets of that city and not get mobbed because nobody cares
[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_01]: This is a fact
[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I hate to I hate to blame the woman here
[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_00]: But I will just just have a fun devil's advocate
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_00]: No excuse for him lifting her but if I was going to be someone's personal assistant
[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I would get like a list of the roster of the team so that I would just kind of know the names
[00:33:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'd be like oh that sounds familiar or get like a look book
[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and if she was a boy she'd have figured that out
[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_01]: That's true because boys are meant to be personal assistants girls are meant to be the ceo's
[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_02]: We've said that for years and I will say this way was especially troubling for dan because as of like a year or two ago
[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_02]: He was picking up every girl. He would just go around and be like oh look at you
[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Look at you cute little thing and then he would like send him on their way
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_02]: So this was like
[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_00]: The one brand for dan that also well, he would do when you'd say look at you you cute little thing
[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he would
[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we got rid of all those clips too. Thank goodness because we used to I used to have people record them
[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_01]: So we could listen to them later
[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_01]: of
[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_02]: You know I before like andre the giant
[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Like seven feet tall
[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Pick up all the girls. I would just you know, I obviously figured out before he did that that's not okay
[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_02]: But we're both there now. We got rid of learning. We scrubbed all that footage. We got rid of
[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_02]: cute little thing
[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It's how dan used to do all the beat grand fest meet and greets according to emily. That's really fun
[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Look at you. You cute little thing. That's right
[00:34:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, if I don't get greeted like that for the marathon by each and every one of you, I'm gonna feel
[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Pretty bad about myself. That's a different dot. It's green dot for hugs
[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_01]: So different dots to lift you up orange for lifts. You little thing like orange. You gonna lift me
[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Orange you gonna lift me
[00:34:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh
[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_00]: That's good right there
[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And you're gonna appreciate I hope my
[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Other weight what because as a girl you're gonna be glad that I know this information
[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_00]: When patty tells oh my gosh, what's our leading lady's name cute little blondie
[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Trish
[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Laurel laurel
[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_00]: The girlfriend the the wonderful villainous girlfriend. She has a botox appointment. So that'll give me at least a couple hours
[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Baby, botox takes four minutes. Wow. This is not a facelift
[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I don't know what we think is happening at this botox appointment, but it takes
[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe four minutes. We all have I gotta I gotta erase that one. We all had that right? We had that one
[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_01]: They filled me there. I gotta be honest
[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_01]: They said botox two hours. I'm like all that checks. It's poison in your face. That's gotta be
[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_01]: An hour
[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_01]: A poison. I don't know. I don't know what it is that we're doing
[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_01]: My only it's just a bunch of little yeah, there you go
[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_01]: There you go
[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_00]: That's all
[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_02]: um, I love that this cute little thing
[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Thought that this guy
[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Would in any universe name his dog after nude gingrich
[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_02]: That I I know she hasn't known him for long
[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_02]: But you talked to him one time and you would go I don't think he knows who new gingrich is
[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh because newt never played football. So what's the point of knowing anybody?
[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, but I appreciate the effort there
[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_02]: You talk about the guy who shows up picks her up and whatnot
[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_02]: But you it's such an interesting thing to when somebody opens the door
[00:36:30] [SPEAKER_02]: To your friend's house that you don't recognize who it is
[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_02]: You just go I want to see danie boy and then you're shocked that they don't like respond with well come on in
[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a weird way to say great. It is how I walk in every day
[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I go, I want to see danie boy talking to my buddy dan
[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_02]: But I say out the his face. I don't like that's the thing that me and him
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You greet me. Exactly. I don't want to see danie boy. There he is
[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_02]: um
[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_02]: An I listen, I don't know the severity of the
[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, the ankle injury the high ankle sprain. I don't think it should affect how you put your jacket on
[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_02]: But but for him it does he does one arm
[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Actually, I have a jacket here that I'll uh, I'll utilize so he does one one arm
[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_02]: And then he it's as if this arm doesn't quite work and he's just kind of like
[00:37:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Does one of these numbers and swings it over to himself as if it's a full like high ankle sprain equals
[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Full half of your body is unusable. So just kind of it's not the infamous, uh, jad Bartlett, uh, jack
[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't oh you can't
[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you know why he does that jacks? No, why don't
[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_01]: No, martin sheen just like me we have something called herbs palsy
[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Which means our right arm isn't fully functional and that's how you have to put on a jacket
[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I just thought it was a brilliant character. No, no, you know, and that oh my gosh. No, I adore this man
[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_01]: So I don't do the I never thought to do the flip
[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Although after seeing him do it
[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like dude that makes a lot of sense if you've got herbs palsy
[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I just go right arm in all the way first and then like I do dip my shoulder around
[00:38:16] [SPEAKER_01]: But he like legitimately made that thing popular and then he started doing it for charity for like herbs palsy charities
[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_03]: I
[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Does as well, I don't know. No, this is just crazy. Okay. I think he thinks in his head if you have an ankle injury
[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a full you have to do a full bit. Yeah one of these numbers
[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm sorry. I don't want to derail this but when when we came on earlier
[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I Dan was wearing the jacket, but I didn't see that it's like the hallmark branded and then I saw the brand has it
[00:38:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And you guys look incredible. Thank you. It's our congratulations our bomber jacket. We ordered you guys. It looks great
[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_01]: We ordered a very nice. It's the nicest piece of merch
[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_01]: The deck to home are much I've ever like seen or worn and again. I can't stress
[00:39:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It's incredible. You want to get the logo? We ordered way too many of these
[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_02]: We have way too many of them and we I it was an accident. We didn't mean to order this menu way too many
[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_02]: There is literally a room
[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't open the door because there's so many boxes of them. So please dex home art.com slash shop
[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Please buy one. None of that is true
[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_01]: But dex the home art.com shop is by one you just saw a shop. You can go ahead. They're wonderful. We don't have any
[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Um outside of the locker room. It just says football locker room. Yeah, that was great. Um because
[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_02]: We could say locker room
[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_02]: But then how would all the girls watching this at all know no that this is for the football players
[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_02]: It could be locker room for anything could be could be any random
[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_02]: We got a lot everyone knows football locker or football players coming out of it
[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Would that kind of tell those no I need to know
[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Football locker say it football locker room. Uh and I also just love
[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_02]: that
[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_02]: That's
[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_02]: At some point they said hey
[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_02]: You're not sad enough. How do we make everybody at home know that you're sad
[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's just that he holds his football really close to him, which I thought was really cute and sweet
[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, dana. He's a 12 year old boy who's been allowed to say that way. Um, listen
[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm as big a fan of bread as the next guy
[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Unless the next guy is doing props for this movie
[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_01]: uh
[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_01]: This the the opening scene of this movie is at a sports bar buffet, which
[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Sign me up
[00:40:33] [SPEAKER_01]: One of those a sports bar buffet where everyone I can't stress this enough everyone has
[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_01]: At least four to six pieces of just plain toast on their plate
[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing is followed up by followed up by three or four burger sliders
[00:40:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And french fries. So it's not like they did you notice this jacks jacks notice the amount of bread on their plates
[00:41:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I had written that down also
[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was funny because I'm I'm a big carb girl, but it was yeah just thick slices of texas toast
[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_01]: It's so much bread and it I'm here like we love bread here at the office
[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_01]: So much just dipping in stuff put some olive oil whatever we get pizzas and we go should we add more bread and we go
[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely every time this is
[00:41:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Literally everyone has decided why don't want to go back up there
[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to need my half dozen slices of texas toast to go with my four burger sliders and plate of french fries
[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And I listen once again not yuck anybody show them. I love bread. I eat a ton of bread
[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_01]: This is crazy. You have a loaf of bread on your plate
[00:41:41] [SPEAKER_01]: That you're never gonna eat
[00:41:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought for sure like it was so over the top the amount of bread that I thought for sure
[00:41:48] [SPEAKER_02]: They were going to bring it back for the table. Yeah or something there was going to be some sort of like joke or
[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Explanation for why they have so much bread. What are they hiding behind all that bread? It's a wall of bread
[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_01]: You can't see the food but I just I couldn't I couldn't get over this like sports bar buffet
[00:42:07] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's like hey, don't miss the texas toast station up front. So good
[00:42:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean so good. Yeah, maybe this is ax me as texas toast
[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_01]: If it's done right now now we're in a different world
[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Some zack sauce. Whoo everything I said I take it back if it's a zack's these texas toast
[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly right buffet. See I will have at least yeah three or four at least
[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, this is way bigger than that though. I don't have to you know, it's no
[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not you're exactly right the size is the scale this movie has learned
[00:42:37] [SPEAKER_01]: The game of football through a game of telephone
[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, it is it is like the la Croy of football they talk about football in these weird
[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Like we got a list of terms that we have to use all these terms to get a bingo
[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And so we're going to use them all
[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Um
[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And I know that because of things like football locker room
[00:42:57] [SPEAKER_01]: But also he has to go to practice. They
[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Show you a wide shot of this dome
[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_01]: With like a closed roof
[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_01]: They show you show him parking outside of this dome and then he goes to practice outside
[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_01]: The football field he's practicing on is not in the dome that they established
[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_01]: And he parked next to where is it?
[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_01]: He he crouched there. I don't know what happened there
[00:43:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how that worked
[00:43:27] [SPEAKER_01]: But they they went above and beyond to get it completely wrong, which is
[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_01]: crazy um
[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I did say this earlier, but it it it deserves to be mentioned again
[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_01]: He's in the locker room with his bros his boys locker room talk
[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_01]: And he's like i gotta go to my assistant blah blah blah and then the one guy that's met her is like oh
[00:43:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, she's pretty pretty pretty cute
[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And this dude goes not one several of them go you have a girl. That's an assistant
[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_01]: They are pretty much like he's become the joke of the locker room because his personal assistant is female
[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_01]: That's it
[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the whole bit. That's the whole joke is that can you believe this knucklehead over here?
[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Think so a girl can be his personal assistant. He knows tens of words
[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you think a girl could handle all of that?
[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Responsibility he also is in the stands in the nosebleed section for a book signing
[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Didn't understand that one one bit at all. It's vibes. It's the vibes
[00:44:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he also has an agent in this movie and he is the early characters considered the best quarterback in the nfl
[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like erin rogers tom brady patrick mahomes and his agent who's negotiating
[00:44:43] [SPEAKER_01]: multi-million dollar contracts
[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_01]: shares a desk in an office with another dude
[00:44:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Not shares like has a cubicle and there's another cubicle which would be insulting
[00:44:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Shares a singular desk like dwight and jim at in the office
[00:45:00] [SPEAKER_01]: This guy's a millionaire assistant a millionaire agent
[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_01]: He's sharing a desk with a background actor. Actually, you might have one line. That was pretty crazy
[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Um
[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And this is the most depressing poker night of all time the poker night this guy hosts
[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_01]: No one talks above a whisper
[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Um, there's no snacks
[00:45:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Only one person talks at a time
[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a mess. It's a mess of a poker night and it and it made me just mad that they had it
[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_02]: That's all I got
[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_02]: It's time for what the hallmark before we do that. I just remembered jacks
[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_02]: We have all over the past week been making our predictions for when hallmarks going to drop their Christmas schedule
[00:45:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think you're the last one that we haven't heard we haven't heard from
[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Would you like to make a prediction as to when typically in past years? It's been about a month
[00:45:51] [SPEAKER_02]: before
[00:45:52] [SPEAKER_01]: The 24 pick a day will put you on the calendar to win the big
[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna go with
[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_01]: September 15th. Wow September 15th. It's a great. What is everyone else? What is everyone else?
[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Saturday jacks, so I don't it isn't
[00:46:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a sunday jack. So that's a bold move. Do you want to move it or do you want to stick with it?
[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I love that for you, but you know
[00:46:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe the 16th. Oh monday. Okay, great
[00:46:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Wait, did you pick up on a friday?
[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Me I picked a monday. You want to be with me on the 16th?
[00:46:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you're on the 16th. I am
[00:46:26] [SPEAKER_01]: That's good company. There you go. It's pretty good company and I hope it's not a monday
[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_01]: If they could just make it a tuesday or wednesday for us, that would be awesome
[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Be awesome for us
[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And I know the whole market is doing that drops around us for sure. Yeah more. They always give us the heads up
[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Of course
[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah, they just like they did when I actually worked for them. I knew things
[00:46:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Ah all the time
[00:46:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's find out. Uh, it's it's time for I'd be telling you stuff. Did you hear about this? What?
[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you would always be telling me something like I didn't hear that
[00:47:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure they're gonna get it to me
[00:47:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure they will. We tell the girls about this. Nah
[00:47:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Probably too much for the girls. Yeah the girls couldn't there's no the girls can't handle it
[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_02]: How do we dumb it down to where they can understand those sweet sweet girls?
[00:47:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, it's time for what the hallmark is for me wonder what could have been maybe have it
[00:47:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm clear to any questions that we still have jacks. What are you still wondering about? What's really uh, what's clon at the old brain?
[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I am wondering what the conversations were
[00:47:26] What's clon at the brain?
[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Are you okay? Clon at the old brain. They've been still for so long it's sometimes try to spice it up
[00:47:34] [SPEAKER_01]: What's clon at the old brain?
[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_00]: You did make it sound just so jovial and like it was just off the top of your head, which I guess it was
[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, what's clon at my old brain?
[00:47:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not gonna lie vibrate promise you that I have it written down clon at the old brain
[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I actually had two little things. I'm wondering if she's getting paid for these what are adorable jerseys that she's making for all football players
[00:47:57] [SPEAKER_00]: um people
[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_00]: wives girlfriends and such and then also okay
[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_00]: And maybe something got worked out that I didn't see why?
[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Our leading man still gives the speech after his sister has told him that it meant a lot to her to give a speech
[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_01]: She she'd basically at the dinner is like I want you to give the speech
[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_01]: So she has that was gonna be that's one of my two
[00:48:21] [SPEAKER_01]: She basically has been preparing to give the speech for weeks
[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And then at the dinner is like you should give the speech and he goes up there off the cuff
[00:48:29] [SPEAKER_01]: So instead of us getting to hear what the sister planned to say and scripted
[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_01]: We get off the cuff from the old. I can't have a girl as an assistant guy
[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what we get in step. I'm happy she can't do her senses and realize that she's not capable of giving a speech
[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Off the cuff from man is always better than carefully planned from a woman
[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly right and as we sit on this here week of the democratic national convention
[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for reminding the american people that jacks um
[00:49:03] [SPEAKER_02]: mine is this the uh
[00:49:05] [SPEAKER_02]: The the at the very end her roommates is like hey
[00:49:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I took my client's dog on the way out
[00:49:14] [SPEAKER_02]: and
[00:49:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Like just stole the dog
[00:49:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Did the root what does the obviously she's her client was the worst. We don't like her
[00:49:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Does she even notice that her dog is is gone?
[00:49:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Did she fight back at all did she text her and be like, hey, where's my dog?
[00:49:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Or is it just kind of one of those things where it's like, oh great someone
[00:49:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Did me a solid somebody stole the dog somebody stole this designer dog. That's right put it in the back. It's crazy
[00:49:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, what do you got denim? Uh, what's calling it my brain is this sports bar the same one that gives uh toast out at the buffet
[00:49:46] [SPEAKER_01]: They have they go for for two people that don't insist they do not like football at all
[00:49:53] [SPEAKER_01]: They go to this very football specific bar
[00:49:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking there are football helmets lining the bar
[00:49:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Non-descript no team names, of course
[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_02]: But lining the bar the the old minors. Yeah, that's right
[00:50:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Not the the fake football team. They couldn't couldn't get those right they go to this sports bar for every occasion including I believe a
[00:50:13] [SPEAKER_01]: bachelorette party
[00:50:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a bachelorette party at the sports bar with though
[00:50:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, have you seen the bread from people that don't buy their own admission like nor care about
[00:50:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Football they go to this one establishment
[00:50:28] [SPEAKER_01]: For everything and I just want to know why aside from the fact that we know it was the only location they had
[00:50:33] [SPEAKER_02]: bread man, yeah
[00:50:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, bread
[00:50:37] [SPEAKER_02]: We did it. Congratulations to everybody involved
[00:50:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh jacks, we are so excited to be getting started on the chicken girls
[00:50:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Sisters chicken sisters a little bit of chicken fry

[00:51:08] [SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't make sure spirit out of new work. No, I don't do spirit
[00:51:11] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I would love to not have a life insurance liability claim. I uh
[00:51:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't act like we haven't had amazing experiences on spirit. I've actually my my
[00:51:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I had one great really great experience on spirit when I really need to get to los angeles and timers of the essence to go on
[00:51:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Kelly Clarkson and it worked out great got that big chair, but we all know it's united out of new work. Yeah, that's right
