BRAN'S PROVIDENCE FALLS: THIEF OF FATE SYNOPSIS:
Cora is dreaming of olden times with Liam. She wakes up in the hospital room and tells her dad and Suzette about what she remembers.
Agon is at a bar when Bael comes to sit down next to him. Bael lights his drink on fire and tells him he’s just here to give the humans a choice. Clearly, this Bael is up to no good.
He then goes to talk to Suzette. He tells her her job isn’t done yet—and that he knows she’s developing a little crush on Finn. He tells her to use it.
Cora gets home and is surprised to see Liam. When she walks inside, she finds the house filled with flowers—all from him.
Meanwhile, Finn is at Suzette’s coffee shop. They talk about the unmistakable bond between Liam and Cora, even as sparks begin to fly between Finn and Suzette.
Cora returns to work, where she and Liam are focused on the case. Guess who shows up as Magnus’s lawyer? Bael—and he’s very good. After the meeting, Bael tells Liam there’s always another side, if he’s interested.
Liam wants to tap Magnus’s phone, even though it’s not exactly legal. That won’t stop him.
Later, Cora invites Liam over for Italian food and wine. Naturally, it ends with him pulling her chair closer and just gazing into each others eyes until Liam needs to leave.
Liam asks Suzette to help clone Magnus’s phone, and she does. When Cora finds out, she’s furious.
Her dreams about Liam from the old days keep intensifying, until she finally confronts him. Liam comes clean—about Limbo, angels, reincarnation, all of it. And he tells her the hardest truth of all: her destiny only happens with Finn.
Meanwhile, Finn shoots his shot with Suzette, asking her out on a date to Seattle. They’re about to kiss when she gets a text—the cloned phone has a new message. They do kiss before he leaves. The message? Magnus is supposed to meet someone at the state park in ten minutes.
When Liam and Cora get there, they find Magnus dead—and Finn missing.
She’s worried about him, but then she gets a text: Finn has already gone ahead to Seattle and will be back in a couple weeks for his stuff. Cora thinks it’s suspicious. When they go to check, Finn is gone. Agon appears and realizes Cora knows the truth. Liam begs for just a little more time to find him.
They confront Suzette, who admits she’s been working with the other side in hopes of earning a clean slate. But she also admits she’s started to care for Finn.
Long story short—Chief Boyd turns out to be a baddie. They catch him smuggling from a mine where they also find Finn. Chief Boyd tries to shoot Finn, but Liam jumps in front of the bullet.
At that moment, Brendan Penny appears. He declares that it’s clear these two can change—and that they should be allowed to choose their own soulmates. Liam and Cora seal it with a kiss.
Fast forward one year: Cora’s nonprofit is expanding, she and Liam are married, Finn and Suzette are together—and Cora and Liam share even more kisses.
