BRAN'S MOVIE SYNOPSIS
Nadine is hanging out with her friend and they're both bemoaning the fact that her dad is cancelling the pumpkin regatta festival. Why is it cancelled? Well, apparently her dad George is mad at his old best buddy Andrew. There were cheating allegations thrown out there about who won the last race. So no more race!!!
Andrew's son, Ethan, is hot. And he is encouraging his dad to just talk to George and bury the hatchet. Nadine is trying to get her dad to do the same, with no luck. Nadine decides to reach out to Ethan to talk about how they might be able to reconcile their dads. And the sparks are FLYING when these 2 get together. They decide to just start planning the regatta in hopes that their dads reconcile beforehand. Luckily, that means that they're spending plenty of time together. They even bake some cake pops and he touches her face a dozen times. They carve up a giant pumpkin and have a pumpkin guts fight which leads to him taking his shirt off.
They go to get a bite to eat and they talk about their feelings and they almost kiss but pull back - they're keeping this professional!
So the planning is in full force but they keep having to hide it from their dads because they're still not interested in patching things up.
They're setting up for the race and Ethan shoots his shot and they kiss big ones! Her dad walks up and goes WHOA! He finds out that she's been planning the regatta without his knowledge. He's not thrilled. In fact, he's disappointed.
The next day, the dads end up making up. The race is on!!!
Nadine and Ethan talk and he gives her some sunflowers. She says it's time to go on a proper date.
The race happens and the kid who the money was going towards ends up winning, so good for him.
Nadine and Ethan celebrate with a kiss.
