[00:00:00] Hi, I'm Brian and I love ranking episodes. I'm Brian, I like ranking episodes. I'm Dan, I love ranking episodes and this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast. Deck The Hallmark gets this podcast. And friends host this podcast. We hope you like this jolly podcast. Hi everybody. It's time. It's time.
[00:00:32] We're gonna put our noggins together. We're gonna come up with the definitive ranking. If you're a member of Bramble Jam Plus, at any level, you got an episode with the three of us and Alonzo Duraldi giving our top 10 and bottom 10 of the year each individually. That's the only place you can find that information. You can't find it anywhere else. It's exclusive BrambleJamPlus.com.
[00:00:58] Now, what we're doing today is making no one happy because we're gonna rank all 43 of the linear movies and we all have to agree. That's right. And so you know that no one's gonna be happy and that makes me happy for some strange reason. So I'm excited about this brand. I'm excited to do it. It's a fun time. Yeah. Some of you might be asking, did you do a Q4 or a Q3 ranking episode?
[00:01:23] In a sense, we did. In our hearts. In our hearts and our minds. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We're not gonna talk about that, though. Let's get to the rankings. We're gonna pull them up. Philo.tv slash DTH is gonna be the best place to enjoy this because you're gonna be actually able to see it. But we're gonna do our best to explain what is happening.
[00:01:45] Per usual... Yeah, you need Philo to really fully enjoy this bad boy. Yes, that's right. Per usual, we have five tiers starting from the best, which is real movie territory, and then down to big fun movie six, and then standard feels, and then bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, and then dump steer fire. Dump steer fire. That's exactly right. Now, one of the reasons we do this, and we have a really weird rule that doesn't make any sense, but it leads to more fun arguing, is we cap it out so it has to be even.
[00:02:10] So, like, the max number of movies in any of these categories is nine, right? That's right. 43 total movies, crack open a cold one. The max is nine. So, even if there aren't nine real movie territory movies, I mean, we could maybe put eight in that category, but you're gonna have eight or nine in all of these categories. That's right. That's exactly right. In my opinion, there's more than nine dumpster fires. We gotta limit it to nine. Our hands are tied.
[00:02:33] We're another one of the other times. And we are including the Christmas in July movies in this mix, but not Hallmark Plus. And Operation Nutcracker still does make it because it did air terrestrially as a part of Countdown to Christmas Day. Premiered it in October, which was great because it gave us the day off. That was a really nice day. That was a really nice day. But we are starting with Falling Like Snowflakes first. Snowflakes.
[00:03:00] Which is the first Christmas in July movie that premiered in June. We knew what we were getting ourselves in for there. Falling Like Snowflakes. Go ahead. I gotta be honest. From doing the top ten, bottom ten, you guys have this lower than I do. I think of the Christmas in July movies, it's the best one.
[00:03:25] It is qualitatively stupid. It is beyond measure not a good movie. But I know what we've got ahead of us, and I think it's bad, bad, bad, bad. I just do. I think I'm gonna get outvoted here. I think I'm gonna get overruled. But I just want my opinion known. I think it's bad, bad, bad, bad. I said it. I'll happily put it in bad, bad, bad, bad. Bad. Keep our boy Marcus out of the dumpster. That's right. Brian, was it in your dumpster? No.
[00:03:55] I have it pretty low, but I don't feel like we need to have it in dumpster at night. I mean... Hey, listen. It was just outside my bottom ten. So I have it. I probably have it lower than you. If I do it by the nine. If it's your bottom ten, technically you do. I don't, though. So I'm happy. Oh, great. I didn't have it in my bottom nine either. So I feel great about this. All right. Never mind. Good. I feel like we're good. Now, the hurdle here for me is going to be the Operation Nutcracker, which I had lower.
[00:04:24] I have lower than this one. I don't. And so I know that you don't. Dan, I think that you do. I have it in my bottom ten, but it is ten. Okay. And you have it where? Where do I have that? Way up. I have it above falling for snowflakes, so 36. Here's my thing. The thing is, it's so borderline to me. It's a borderline situation. So you had it where, Brian? Bought definite dumpster?
[00:04:54] Yes, I have it in definite dumpster. How about let's start making deals now. What if we just put all of the July movies in and bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, and then we come back to it at the end? I don't think that's a good idea, Brian. Absolutely not. Nice try. We're not doing this. That was nice. We're not starting this very Vermont propaganda early. Okay? Actually, I wouldn't mind these all just in bad, a dumpster just to get them on the board. Oh, really? Now that I'm thinking about it. Interesting. I would put them on the dumpster. Is there just three of them? Yeah.
[00:05:23] It's just three of them. I'd be fine with the other two in dumpster. The very Vermont. Very Vermont and Operation Nutcracker. Operation Nutcracker. Oh, man. That hurts. You don't want both of those in dumpster? But sure. Yeah, absolutely. Let's do that. Both of those in dumpster. I like that. Yeah. Quickly. Well, I don't know. That seems perfect. Well, we're doing it. There it is. That gets us to October. Perfect. Should we take a break?
[00:05:53] Merry Christmas. Our first Christmas movie of the season happened during the marathon. Yeah. Good times. Good times. Great times. While we watched it, it was the date before Christmas. This is a tough one. It is. This is a tough one to know what to do with, you know, because it's got that first movie of the year. Bob Buck. Fake romance. Yeah. First movie of the year. A little bit of a, you know, what's it called when you- Sheen. Sheen. Well, yeah. A little glisten.
[00:06:22] Kind of messes up the curve a little bit. Yeah, absolutely. I'm willing. I get the feeling you guys like this one more than me. This is a standard feels movie to me. I'm fine moving it up if that's where everybody else had it. And I'd be okay with that. I'd be okay if we popped it up to Big Fun maybe six. Give it the first movie bump. But I had it. Yeah, I had it in standard feels. But I'm fine at higher. I'm fine at Big Fun maybe six. That's as high as I'm willing to go, though. Anybody says real movie territory, I got a problem. Okay.
[00:06:52] You said Big Fun or Standard Feels? I said I had it at Standard Feels, would be willing to bump up to Big Fun. Okay. Because that's about where I got it. You got it in standard? I have it in Big Fun maybe six. Brand? Let's just start it in standard feels and see where it goes. How about that? Okay. Did you have it lower? I have it higher. But you do. But I'm kind of playing the field here. Right. And I'm kind of interested in seeing. It's four movies. I'm gyrating so much. You know. Time out. If we both.
[00:07:21] What if we move it down to standard feels, but then we bring very remote up. Wait a second. What if we have some fun? Did you want it in Big Fun? Yeah. Yeah. Let's do that. Moving up to Big Fun. Great. You're not going to hurt my feelings. Sheesh. This guy. You're not going to hurt my feelings. Awesome. Good. My feelings are good. Up next we've got Holiday Crashers. Could be a hurt more. Holiday Crashers. You know, we watched this 24 hours in the marathon. I have just one spot ahead of Twas the Date. We're in a real pickle now. Huh. I got a bull.
[00:07:50] I like Twas the Date a bit more than Holiday Crashers. I have one spot ahead, but I don't have a strong feeling about either of these movies. Well, hi, Aaron. Can I just ask a clarifying question for right now? Okay. Because we sometimes do it two different ways. Are we just putting movies in categories and then figuring out orders? These are not locked. None of what we're doing is locked. Thank you. It's not locked until then. Very Vermont can still end up in real movie. Okay. Don't say it if you don't mean it. Don't say it if you're not willing to.
[00:08:19] In theory, I do mean it. Not willing to play. Play around a little bit. There's a world. Well, you said you have it just a smidge above. I have a smidge above, which makes it tough. Well, then, if both of you have it above, then isn't that. I would put it in. You have it above, too? I have it above. There's Bigfoot maybe six above Twas the Date. There it is. Our hands are tied. There you go. Here we go. Scouting for Christmas. Buzz your crew. Here we are. Scouting for Christmas.
[00:08:48] The real estates. The Girl Scouts. This movie is worse than Falling Like Snowflakes. I don't care what anybody says. You know this. You guys, with your Falling Like Snowflakes, this movie is worse than Falling Like Snowflakes. I think this is a bad, bad, bad. Oh, really? I think it's worse. You think it's dumpster fire? I think it's a dumpster fire. Yeah, I do. Wow, Brian? Break that tie. Well, this is fun. I have it worse than Vermont, so I'm willing to put it. I'm willing to play. There's no one to play with, Brian. Pick where to put the movie.
[00:09:18] Very Vermont's staying where it is. Put it last. Put it last. Put it last. No, no, no. Wait a minute. No, no, no. You don't get to put it in what category. You said put it where you want. I'm sorry. What category do you think it should be in? Bad, bad, bad, bad, or dumpster fire? It should be in Bad, bad, bad, bad. Yeah. Okay. Put it behind Spohen Like Snowflakes. Dang it. What are these days? I'm going to get it. The thing is, Brian, is I'm willing to grant you that you love Very Vermont because of who you are, and I'm fine with that.
[00:09:47] Don't try to say that it's also a good movie. I'm just trying to play. I'm just trying to play. We're not even too believing Christmas yet. Just playing with a snow. So let's just wait, because that's going to be a problem. I just want to play. That's all I know. I want to do a plan. This time each year, a movie, I could tell you right now what it is. Oh, yes. Oh, yeah. Now, Vader, and Allison Sweeney. Yeah. No. Was it? Was it Allison Sweeney? Yes, it was. Yes, it was. Absolutely. This guy's been a long time. It's been a long time. It feels standard feels to me. It feels standard feels.
[00:10:16] We don't have anything in that column yet. It had some really nice moments. It's right in the middle of the pack for me in this list. It feels like a standard feels situation to me. Yeah. It's, yeah, I guess so. It's sad. I remember being a little sad. But it's not bad. I had a big fun maybe six. Really? For this one. Wow. It's actually a little lower than twas the date. It's one below twas the date for me. Pass me some of what you're smoking. Brian, what are you going with?
[00:10:46] Let's put it in standard fields for now. Is that okay, Brian? Okay. We can make deals later. Absolutely. Make some deals later. Vermont's looking a little low to me at this point. Uh-oh. Now you know. Now you know. The Christmas charade. Charade. Oh, man. Big swing. You go first here, Brian. Big swing of a movie. I liked it, I think, more than most because of the swing. Sure. Because of the swing. Swing. Swing dancing. I would probably have it in standard fields.
[00:11:15] It's where I would have it. That's where I would put it. But I'm only one person. I'm one of three. I don't see this on my list. You got it there somewhere. You got it there. Just judging by your number that you put on the draft, I think you have it pretty low. I think you have it pretty low. Are they dancing? Check below the ad? No. All those ads? Really? Oh, it's got to be on there. It is because I got 43 movies. Yeah. I'm just missing it. Just go ahead. You have it where, Brian?
[00:11:45] I like putting it in standard fields for now. Okay. Bri, where do you have it? I have it lower than that. Okay. Tell me where you got it. Bad. Let me see here. Yeah, I have it bad. It looks like we're at the top of bad. Ah, I found it. Where do you have it? I have it. How? Hell, how is it that high?
[00:12:11] I have it at the end of standard fields or at the beginning of bad, blah, blah, blah, bad, bad, depending on where we decide to run. Well, I think standard fields is where it is then. That was my takeaway. That's mind-blowing, actually. I think that my problem is that in this list, I have it ahead of Trivia at St. Nick's, and I would definitely switch those two movies now. And so that's where my headache comes in.
[00:12:38] I didn't like this movie at all, but I don't think that's fair. I think it's fine right there right now. We'll see what happens. I think you liked it for a little while. Oh, no. This movie was not great. I remember having a good time. Remember when they were in the HVAC? Remember that? How fun that was? Sure. With that fan? That box fan. You had it lower, right? All right. That's fine right there. I like it right there. This isn't locked? Nothing's locked? Right. Nothing's locked? We're just talking. We're just talking. We're just playing. We're just playing. We're just a few boys in the sandbox playing.
[00:13:06] Let's get to the five-year Christmas party, shall we? Yeah. Let's just move along. Okay. Here we go. From that comment. I mean, I was very high on this movie. I would have it in real movie territory. So, Brian, I'm letting you know, I don't want to tell secrets out of school, but I get this even better when you hear what I'm about to say. I get the feeling that you and I are going to push this.
[00:13:31] You and I feeling the way we do about this movie is going to push the Santa class right out of the real movie territory. Really? You think so? Wow. I have it one ahead of the Santa class. And for me, that makes it real movie territory. Bri, where'd you have it? We're both in real movie territory. Right, Brian? I definitely have it in real movie territory. So, you can click it on up there. This is my third favorite movie of the year. I love this movie. Big fun, maybe six. I'm in the eight, nine range. You don't like creatives, though.
[00:14:01] You hate artists. Anything with art or people trying to make something from nothing and come up. You hate it. Like almost every movie that came out this year from Hallmark, this movie has issues and it bothered me in places. But there's still a lot of it that really works, Bri. I mean, like Katie Finlay. Yeah. Yeah. Told over five years. I know. I know. It's not going to be number one. I can tell you that. I think you're in a bad mood. Maybe. I think you're in a bad mood. Expectations were definitely too high.
[00:14:28] I got a movie up here higher, Bri, that I think you're going to be willing to do a little horse trading for. Is it my sweet Austrian holiday? I sure hope so. Is that what's next? That is what's next. My sweet Austrian. Tumster fire. What? Somebody say something? I don't have it that low. I have it as one of the worst of the year. I hated this movie. I think with the pedigree involved, it's the most disappointing movie of the year. I don't even think it's close. That or Novel Noel. But I was disappointed in Novel Noel before it started.
[00:14:56] So my sweet Austrian holiday is the most disappointing movie for me. And I do think it belongs in the dumpster fire. I do think it's one of the worst nine movies of the year. Well, I have it. I have it as my ninth least favorite movie of the year. So I would be content. At the top of that list. Yes. Yeah. Personally, I would have it at the top of the list. And again, and I don't want to speak school out of turn. Yeah, absolutely. Don't take a turn in the school. It's not a school either.
[00:15:26] But I'm always down to play. Yeah, we know. We heard you, man. Specifically interested in how high I can get a baby for my Christmas in this particular day. Where did you have my sweet Austrian holiday? I have it at the bottom of bad, bad, bad, bad. So we're one spot away. Yeah. It's one spot. We're only one spot away. You know, in the Superman. That song. Yeah. Brian knows it for sure. You do.
[00:15:55] What does Superman have? Nothing on you. Nothing on you. That's exactly right. Who knew? Who knew? Who knew it'd be you? It'd be you. I care for two. That's the next one. I care for two. Boy, howdy. I loved it. I love this movie. Brian, I know you loved it. For a lot of the year, you had it at your number one. Top spot. And then at some point, you goofed up and went ahead. You threw away everything that you believed in. That's right. That's right.
[00:16:25] Like, you were saying Carol for two was one of your favorites for way longer than I anticipated. Yeah. I held on to it in the top spot for most of the season. Even in the holiday touchdown conversation. Yeah. Yeah. I have it higher than that one spot. Yeah. I really liked that movie. But at some point. Yeah. A couple things came up. Yes. A couple things came up. I had a good time with. But I did really like this movie. Yeah. I had it at 10.
[00:16:54] And so I think I could see. I think as long as it's somewhere above standard feels. I would like for it to be the big fun maybe six. But that's just me. I have it at 18. Which would be the. If we're doing nine each. I have it at the last spot. But we don't have to listen to him. That's true. We don't have to listen to him. I would love it at standard feels or big fun maybe six. So you would like for it to be in real movie territory, Brian. You can do this. It's interesting. But you got movies coming up.
[00:17:23] You're going to want up there. You do. Like, what are you going to do? Throw caution in the wind. Yeah, absolutely. I think what's interesting is that we can play. That's all. That's kind of like what we can do. The thing is, I'm like, I love supporting small states like Vermont. And that has nothing to do with this. Of course. What we're doing. I'm just saying, like, I love to see Vermont get some. That's interesting. Yeah. Notice. But I would put careful to up in real movie territory at the very least. Let's just put it up there. You have it in 10th.
[00:17:51] Well, let's just put it up there and kind of see where the day takes us. I like it. It looks good. So now we got like two in each of the categories, which is nice. And I think it's a good place to take a break. It's a great place to take a break. Let's take a break. We'll come back. Four breaks this episode. It's going to be awesome. We'll keep doing stuff here on. Deck the Hallmark. Hi. Welcome back, everybody. We're ranking stuff. We got a lot to get to.
[00:18:21] So let's go. Follow.tv slash DTH. You're going to get to see it in real time. It's going to be way better. That's exactly right. Our Holiday Story is the next movie. Our Holiday Story. I believe that's Deloach. And what's his name? Warren Christie. Warren Christie. That's right. Yeah. A movie that another big swing. You know, How I Met Your Mother situation. What are our thoughts on this one? Dan Bry, where would you guys like to see it? I had this higher than I think both of you.
[00:18:51] I had this just outside of my top ten. Wow, that's pretty high. I enjoyed the heck out of this movie for the leads. The movie as a whole can get a little boring, but the leads and the swing I liked. This is a big fun maybe six pretty easily for me. That's what I got. I don't have it that high. I remember liking this. This is a clever story. But I just feel big fun maybe six. Standard Feels is where I have it. It's a disrespect of Nikki DeLich here. A disrespect of Nikki DeLich. No disrespect. Did I not say no disrespect? I don't think I said it.
[00:19:21] No disrespect. No disrespect. Brian Harrelton Daly over here with just not wanting to give Nikki DeLich any. Brian said no disrespect. I think she should die. That's what he said. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No disrespect though. But I preface with no disrespect. That's right. I like putting it in big fun maybe six. I love it. That's fun. I think that's fun. That's towards the bottom of it, but I like it. I had it in the middle, but I'm fine with it. I think that's where it belongs. I definitely think it's one of the 18 best movies we've seen this year. I don't. Like to think it's not as crazy.
[00:19:50] I think all five of those movies are there. Yeah. I want to know what 18 movies you have ahead of that movie. Like there's got to be some real stingers. It's actually pretty close to 18 though. Okay. It's not that far off. Let's get to holiday mismatch, shall we? Holiday mismatch. Caroline Ray. I have this above holiday story. You have lost your mind. Okay. So this might be a fight. This might be a fight then. A little done fight. Yeah. Because I really had a hard time enjoying this one.
[00:20:19] And just looking at our Christmas draft board, I have this as the lowest rating of anybody on our team that watched it. Yeah. You're a dumpster fire. Interesting. I'm in the dumpster fire world for this movie. You sure are. Where are you, Bri? I'm, man, I guess this would be standard feels for me. I'm in Bababababad. So we either can go split the middle and it's Bababababad or we let Aaron break the tie. Well, I don't know. That's interesting.
[00:20:48] I mean, I'm willing to play around. You have one of your least favorite movies of the year. That's right. Okay. I mean, it's center feels. It might be a stretch for you, but I mean that. And then imagine it in center feels in Vermont, like right below it. There's no way I can get it. My goal is to just like get it, get Vermont towards the top of dumpster fire. I don't like, I'm not swinging for the fences here. Swinging for the fences. Swing. I think bad, but bad, but bad. That's where it belongs. What if we start there?
[00:21:15] What if we start there and see if it moves down more? How about that? How about that? I have scouting for Christmas worse than this movie. I have this worse than scouting for Christmas. No, let's move it. No, I'm going to believe Brian and I are going to outrank him here. Yeah. That goes higher. It's better than falling like snowflakes too. Right? I don't have it. I feel better. You don't have it higher than falling? No. Okay. I do. No, I do have it higher. You're right. Yeah. Yeah. Me too. That's where I have it. Yeah. Absolutely.
[00:21:44] I don't know how this turned against me so fast. I felt like I was doing everyone a favor. You want to play on everyone. That's how it turned against you. You can't do it. You got to pick your spot, Brian. I like the whole page. Five gold ranks. It's dumpster fire. We're all there, right? Okay. Trivia at St. Nick's. Time out. Let's go. Where is it going right now? Where do we want to play it? Somebody just put reason for season in the dumpster fire, which I'm not mad at, but that's not five gold. We're just getting ahead of ourselves. We're just getting ahead of ourselves. Wait for it. Wait for it. I have. I like it right there.
[00:22:12] Right now, I have it at the top of that list. I like it. Oh, I have it at the bottom. I like it right there. At the bottom? I like it. I like it at the bottom. Okay. That's fine. I like it at the bottom. Yeah. You did it. I like it at the bottom. Inch it its way up. I think three of those four movies are in my bottom four, so the only one that isn't is Operation Nutcracker, which is just a little higher. I would probably have that higher than Sweet Offer and Holiday, but I don't really care. Whatever. They're terrible. That's fine. Let's get the Trivia at St. Nick's. Okay. It's next.
[00:22:42] A fun movie. Yeah. Maybe lost its way a little bit, but a fun movie. Where are you feeling? Dan, I feel like if memory serves, you were lower on it than I was. I am the lowest, I think, of all of us on this. I'm at 25. Oh, that's low. Which would sneak it into Standard Feels, but I'm like- I'm open to that. I think Standard Feels is where I would have it. I'm open to Standard Feels. I'm open to that, Brian.
[00:23:12] Actually, I think it's at the top of Standard Feels for me on mine here. Here's the thing. Can I say this? I had it in my list lower than Christmas Charade. Upon reflection, I think it's better than Christmas Charade, but I think- The performance of Nile Mater is better than anything in Trivia St. Nick's. I would put it in between those two. Brian? I would have it above- Okay. Well, whatever. Oh, Newsflash. I actually have it last in Big Fun, maybe six. Okay. A little update there. Newsflash, everybody. Hey, I'll keep it- At the top there?
[00:23:41] On the other side of this time each year. Yeah. And I'll move Very Vermont Christmas up a spot with you. Wow! That's fun. So move it back. Move Trivia St. Nick's back there. You would let me put it right in your mouth? I'll let you switch those two. But if that starts moving up- Deals are off. Deals off. I like that this time next year ahead of Trivia. I'm open to it. I'm open. Come on. I don't need it. I like it. Deal. Aaron, put Very Vermont back. He thinks this time next each year is better than Trivia St. Nick's.
[00:24:11] Yeah. Okay. I didn't need to make a deal. That's great. Perfect. You already said deal. No, but you know that we're just playing. We're just playing. We got our toes in the sand. That's right. Toes in the water. Yeah, absolutely. Some radio cuts. Sand in our shorts. Toes as well if it's the radio. All right. Santa tell me. Oh, man. Santa tell me. I mean, I have this top three, so I think you know where I stand on it. Well, I think it's- I think it's real movie territory.
[00:24:40] I think it's the best movie on that board. I think it's the best movie on that board. I think it's better than Carol for Two and Chris Five Your Christmas Party by a good chunk, in my opinion. Would you say Country Mile? I don't know about a Country Mile. Country Mile what? Five-year Christmas parties within a Country Mile, but I think it's the best movie on the board. I have a smack dab in the middle of Five Your Christmas and Careful Two. That's where I would like to see it, but I'm open to- Hey, I'll do the same deal with you. We go up one, and then we go very Vermont up one. Oh, easy. I'd make that deal- Because you're definitely not doing that.
[00:25:10] I'd make that deal in my sleep. There you go. Let's go very Vermont up one. I like it. Is Brian on board? He has two people. No. He doesn't have to be. It's two to one. I don't have to be. If two people agree, that's all. We're two or more against her. That's exactly right. Have you heard about the logo, Saren? She's a tiebreaker. She doesn't get to decide. I feel like it was a tie if she agrees with me. Yeah. Carol for Two's not making it, Brian. I'm just letting you know. Come on. It just doesn't. We'll see. We'll see. Yeah, we will. We'll see. I'm in an interesting spot there, aren't I? Aren't you now?
[00:25:39] Aren't you now? Let's get to Tuesday season to be Irish. Oh, number one. Real movie territory. Let's go ahead and put it in Dumpster Fire. Absolutely. By my ranking, it's technically bad, but bad, bad, bad, because I have nine movies below it. Wow. If I'm not mistaken. Four. No, it's ninth. It's ninth. So, yeah. Yeah. But I would have it at the top of that list. Wow. That's where I'd have it. Wow. Top of that list. Wow. You guys have it lower? Yeah. Yeah, I got a little lower than that. All right. You talk it out then. Whatever you guys agree on.
[00:26:09] I think it belongs behind Vermont. I think it belongs behind Vermont as well. I think it belongs behind Operation. I mean, America first. Am I right? America first. America first. That's exactly right. So you guys want to move it all the way down by five gold rings? Let's move it down by five gold rings. I mean, we're splitting hairs. It's bottom of the barrel. We're just... It does not matter down there to me. I mean, it matters to me. We're doing great. I know it does. This is good. It's all... It's all... It's all happening. No. Hey! Or get hijinks on the board.
[00:26:39] A reason for the season is the next one. Name's so generic, I don't know. It's the billionaire that has fun with the townies. Oh, that's right. That's right. It's one of the worst movies. I have it as bad, bad, bad, bad for me personally, but I'm... Yes. I am. I am literally right there, right next to Scouting for Christmas is where I have it. That's exactly... I have it one spot ahead of Scouting for Christmas, but I'm willing to concede I was wrong, and I would put it on that side of it. Where do you have it? Right there. For some... Plenty of...
[00:27:07] I think Sister Sister gets some respect. Yeah, show some respect. Some support. Sister Sister Support. Boy, I have this higher than Sister Sister on my list. I did two by one spot, but I was willing to just go. Yeah, obviously. So are you willing to not give respect to Sister? No, I will give respect to Sister. All right, great. We're giving some respect. No disrespect. And Vermont down. What the heck are you talking about? Who is he bargaining with? Sarah's bargaining with herself. Sarah's bargaining with herself over there. I'm listening.
[00:27:34] I hate Vermont, but I'm going to do it to make sure... I'm going to do whatever I can to make sure that... I don't care about the bottom of the list as much as the top of the list, so... I think we're having fun. We are having a lot of fun. We're having a lot of fun. We're just talking. All right, Christmas with the Sings. Christmas with the Sings is up next. A fun movie. Real fun. Dan, you really... You like this one a lot. I do. You see if memory serves. I do. Yes. You felt... Memory doing a lot of work for you. You felt... My memory's like a lockbox. It is really cool.
[00:28:03] You felt seen in this movie? Yeah, that's what we heard. Well, that's a little much. Christmas with the scenes? I see what you did there. Because you felt seen? Yes. Yes. I have this movie in real movie territory for sure. That's where I have it. I know I'm going to get voted out on that, and that's fine. I'm not accounting for it being in the top, but that's where I have it. Yeah. I have a standard feels for me. Standard feels? Yeah. Yeah. Ended up down there. It wasn't in your top 20, huh, Brian? It was number 20. Okay. Cool. Right in the middle of the pack there.
[00:28:33] What's it to you? Me? Yeah. Not much. Really? Like, for me, I have... Yeah, that's what I heard. If it's up to me... If memory serves five minutes ago. If it's up to me, it's right after Santa tell me. However, however, I understand that where I have this movie and where you guys have it doesn't line up. I'm fine with it at Big... I know you don't have it lower than Big Fun maybe six. Well, how about we play a little ball? How about we play some ball here? Play catch here in the sandbox? Here's what we're going to do. Yeah.
[00:29:03] We'll move it up to real movie territory. Uh-huh. And we'll move it behind a Carol for two. Both of you are happy here. And then Vermont gets bumped up one more. No. It's getting... Bumping up above Austria. No. No. Okay. How about that deal? But Vermont can stay in dumpster fire, but it has to be higher than lower. No. Top half of dumpster fire. No. Top half of dumpster fire. No. It already is.
[00:29:33] Okay. Well, I have sings in real movie territory, so we're going to put it there anyway. What are you having, bro? We're having fun. That's what I'm talking about. That was fun. I love that attempt. And I have it above a Carol for two. Yeah, you do. So I would like to do that as a left. Up and go. Oh. Let's go, baby. Yeah, I don't even respect the player, though. I respect the heck out of the player. So what's it to you? Yeah, I'm thinking. I'm thinking real hard right now. I mean, the only thing I know that matters to you is Vermont Christmas.
[00:30:01] I've made it my goal in life. Yeah. No. Vito. All right. Let's keep going. We'll see where we end up. Just sit on that. Here's the thing is, as much as Brian likes Carol for two, he's got another problem coming, and he knows it. And it's Santa Claus. He can't die on the hill of Carol for two if Santa Claus is that important to him, and he knows it. What I have to start doing is somehow moving Vermont down without Brian knowing what I'm doing. Or, well, let's see.
[00:30:31] We're having fun. We're talking. Yeah, we're just talking. We're just talking here. Hey, is it what? Is it? I know I'm 15. Is there 20 movies out there? You want to take a break? Oh, yeah. Let's take a quick. Let's take a break. All right. Let's take a break. What are we, halfway? We're just at. Jinko Bowl Run. Yeah. Fun. Fun movie. A walk. Ash will. And I think it's important if we're going to put respect on sister, we also have to put respect onto the people who paved the way for us in this podcast.
[00:31:01] And so I just, I do want to say that. I have this movie in Big Fun Movie 6 personally. Um, that's where, that's where I have it. Yeah. I do too. I have it in Big Fun Movie 6. Okay. Well, then I guess it's going there. Well, what do you have? I have it in Christmas, like Christmas Charade, Trivia at Nix, and this movie are the same ranking to me. Oh, is that right? Yeah. So you, those movies are all interchangeable in their quality to me for different reasons.
[00:31:27] Clearly the cast of Jingle Bell Run is the best, but it is just nonsensical. It's a reality show that doesn't make sense. It's Trivia at Nix is the most fun of those movies, but doesn't actually land the plane of the two. Did you cross-reference, Dan, your numerical ranking and the draft to your, what you're saying out loud? No, I did not. My, my, in fact, I should go in and re-rank. Well, then let me put some information up there. This is new. That's old. This is new.
[00:31:55] So like, I should have gone in and redone that and maybe I'd have won the draft and maybe you'd have lost it. Well, that doesn't seem right. You want me to go in and redo it? No. Okay. What I'm going to say is you are correct. Oh, really? About, no, you're not. Okay. You're correct. Gotcha. You're correct. Really? No. Until you get to this movie. You do have those first two right there, but then you have a Jingle Bell Run at a 5.3. The other two right down there in the four, 4.14.0. Interesting.
[00:32:23] So at time of viewing. You can look. At time of viewing, you quite enjoyed this one. Yeah. You quite enjoyed this one. I did not quite enjoy this one. I mean, even by that, 5.3 out of 10 is not quite enjoyed. You had an unbelievable amount of movies below a five. Would you say roughly 20? Because that would be correct. This movie's at 23 on my list. But it could. Christmas Charade, Trivia, and Nick's are 24, 25.
[00:32:52] But in retrospect, I probably like Trivia and St. Nick's the most of those three movies upon thinking of it. But you guys both have it in Big Fun 86, so I don't know why we're talking. Put it right there and keep it there. I mean, unless there's wiggle room elsewhere, then I mean, I wouldn't mind. In Standard Fields, it wouldn't hurt my feelings. Yeah. What do you want? I mean, what do you need for that? What do you want? I know. I don't think I'm getting Carol for two above anywhere that it is right now. What if you want to go down to Standard Fields and move Very Vermont back down where it belongs? Yeah.
[00:33:23] Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what I want to do here. That's ridiculous. That's exactly what I want to do. What do we do? That's ridiculous. Jingle ball runs got to be in Standard Fields for all the reasons Dan just said. And Very Vermont. I don't know. Is it even better than Season of Irish? Didn't we make a deal to move it up? Yeah, that was it. We're just talking. We're just talking. We're all shit. Wow, how did it get moved two down? Ireland's on the way up, man. I don't know if you heard what's going on in Ireland. No, go ahead. Pop, pop. No, no, no.
[00:33:52] You guys have to have some sort of laurels. We're just talking. Yeah. You have to have a laurel. Are you there? You have to have morals. You have to have morals. Your word has to matter. Well, it did at the time. Yeah, it's a new day. Is that about right, bro? Confessions of a Christmas letter. Yeah, I like that. That looks good. Sure. Confessions of a Christmas letter. Ooh, I like this one. Oh, man. Oh, yeah. Last, Dumpster Fire. Come on. What do you got it at? I don't have it there. I have it in, which one is this one here? Confessions? Oh, yeah. This is my top. This is a real movie territory for me.
[00:34:22] I have a Big Fun Maybe Six. Yeah. Near the bottom of Big Fun Maybe Six for me. I'd concede that. That's a win. You'd concede that? Yeah, I'd concede that. You'd concede it either. Yeah, I would. All right. That's a win. We're moving. Here we go. Look at that. A Novel Noel, Dumpster Fire. Dumpster Fire move. Of course it is. I am fine with, I have this, Very Vermont being worse than this movie because I think it is.
[00:34:50] Novel Noel in between, where do you have it? Who, me? No. Who knew? I'm sorry. I have Novel Noel being better than Very Vermont. Oh. Excuse me. Yes. Yes. Yeah. That's what you said. What? That's what I thought you said. Yes. Higher. Yes. Yes. Greater than. I think I have it. More? No, that's where I, that's good. We got holidays to deal with. This is blasphemous. Insane. I like it.
[00:35:17] It's insane to me that the both of you think, I understand where you guys are coming from with Very Vermont. I understand. Sure. You guys both thinking Novel Noel is better than five gold rings. That's crazy to me. To be fair, Brian, my bottom three, Novel Noel, Very Vermont, Happy Holidays. I don't have five gold rings in Tis to be, season to be Irish that low. I think, I think Novel Noel is a worse movie than five gold rings is, but here we are. And I'm fine that five gold rings is currently the, you know, bottom. Yeah. Yes. That's fine.
[00:35:47] It's not hurting my feelings. All those movies suck. All right. Where are we going? Um, where are we at? We just did Novel Noel. Just did Novel Noel. Um, Christmas on Call. Christmas on Call. Well, I liked it. I liked it a lot. I liked it a lot. For this list, obviously. Yeah. I liked it a lot. Um, if it was up to me, I'd have it in a real movie territory. I'm your Huckleberry. I'll, uh, I'll play ball with you there, Brian. Really? Yeah. Where do you want to put it up there, Brian? Oh, man. That's so hot.
[00:36:16] You want to go ahead and Carol for two? I do. What? I love that. I do. I do. I love that. You guys are heartless. Yeah. That's brutal. Yeah. And I'm not playing ball with either of you anymore. I've given up. You guys have proven that you can't be trusted. You've proven it. Um, that is so high. Would you move, uh, five year down two spots to move very Vermont up to? No. Okay. Figure out how to ask. Figure out how to ask. I love it there. No, I won't. I love it there.
[00:36:46] And I'm not playing ball with you. Sorry? I was trying to make a deal. You're a butt of lies. I'm not a butt of lies. Your butt is full of lies. Okay. Three wiser man and a boy. FedEx already getting the, the three wiser man and a boy. Three wiser man and a boy. Let's talk about it. This is all, you know, big, big to do. Yeah. A walk. Yeah. T Hines. That's right. P camp. I'm going to go top of big fun. Maybe six. Can I get top of big fun? Maybe six.
[00:37:17] Yeah. I actually have it higher than careful too, but I really would like careful too to stay a real movie territory. So I wouldn't mind this being down in big fun. Maybe six. Yeah, it's fine. Anticlimactic. Just a little bit. I mean, I can put up a five. I think that that's too high. I think it's too high for that movie. We're still, we're still building it out brand, but if we get nine movies in real movie territory, that's 10. Is it still too high?
[00:37:46] You didn't have it like 10 to 12 ish. No, I didn't. Oh, wow. Okay. Yeah, but that's just me. I tend to critique sequels a little bit harsher unless they're really good. That's right. And I found this one while entertaining, I appreciated their originality of some of the other ones above what they did and through Weisman. But listen, that's just me. It's just you. That's just me.
[00:38:15] I'm just one boy here in the grand scheme of things. It's to have it a holiday. To have it a holiday. Dumpster fire. Got to be a dumpster fire. It's got to be a dumpster fire. Right? It's got to be a dumpster fire. I have it second to the top of dumpster fire, but I have it in there. Can I interest you in below a very Vermont Christmas? Yes. Wow. Are you playing ball? Wow. We're just talking. Let's just rebrand that real quick, Aaron. Okay. We're just talking. Yeah. That belongs down there.
[00:38:44] I would have it right in front of five gold rings, actually. Second to last. What are you guys going to do with happy holidays? I care about very little down there, but that's got to be at the bottom of this list. Well, we'll get there. It's going to be the last one. But we're already at seven. You only get two more there. Yep. Okay. All right. Let's keep moving. What are you guys going to do? I know what I'm going to do. That's the question. That is. I know what I'm doing. You guys. I know what I'm doing. I know what strings to pull. Just simple. Christmas Under the Lights is the movie.
[00:39:12] Christmas Under the Lights, a movie that when I see the poster, I will. It's K.O. Heather. Oh, yes. Yes. The light artist. Hey, I have this on my list in Big Fun Maybe 6, so sue me. Oh, I like playing with you. You'll be hearing from my people. End of the list. End of the list. But I got it there. Yeah. I got it there, baby. I'm open to it. I'm open to Big Fun Maybe 6. Up one. That's pretty high. You don't think so. You're going to besmirch the name of Antonio K.O. Yeah.
[00:39:42] Fellow Bramble Jam podcast employee. That's right. If you can't besmirch those close to you, then who can you besmirch? Yes. I feel more comfortable besmirching him than anyone else, really. Yeah. I don't know. I like that movie. Not your top 18. No. Not my top 18. So I would go center feels. What's it to you? Problem is you want to move something down. So you don't really have the ability to. Well, listen. Right now, Big Fun Maybe 6 is filling up. It sure is.
[00:40:10] We're already 60, but a possibility of 9. We've got to start spreading these things out. You can see a scenario. Student feels in Bad Buh-Bah-Bah-Bah-Bah to have more movies coming their way. They just do. That's right. That's right. Debbie Matt Comer. Debbie Matt Comer's Joyful Mrs. Miracle. Yeah. This is Bad Buh-Bah-Bah-Bah. I had this higher than most. This is Bad Buh-Bah-Bah-Bah. It could be dumpster fire in all honesty, but it's Bad Buh-Bah-Bah-Bah. I think we should. Bad Buh-Bah-Bah. We've got to fill it up. We've got to fill up Bad Buh-Bah-Bah-Bah. That's exactly where I would put it.
[00:40:39] It's probably where it belongs. That's a little low right there. Are we in break zone now? I feel like we're in break zone. Let's take a quick break. We'll come back. We'll get to the final batch here on Deck of the Hallmark. Welcome back, everybody. Lots to get to. It's getting real. We're at. We just did Debbie McComers. We put Debbie McComber into the Bad Buh-Bah-Bah category, and I guess it's to a 90s Christmas.
[00:41:09] A 90s Christmas. This is where it's going to get real. I can already tell. A movie I'm willing to die for. Oh, really? Interesting. If push came to shove, I'd die for this movie. I have it. Good to know. I have it in a real movie territory. It's a standard feels movie. And I'll die for it. Standard feels movie. It's not even about the 90s. It's a mess. Again, that's just unfair to the movie and the filmmaker and to the actors to allow the title,
[00:41:39] which they didn't have anything to do with it. We're not going to the Megaplex. We preview 40 movies where the titles are A Christmas Carousel. Right. Take Me Back to Christmas. Cream it. Next Stop Christmas. Cream it. If you say a 90s Christmas, it has to be about the 90s. Period. It did take place very close to the 90s. It did. Brian, where do you have it? Well, so your standard feels, Brian's real movie territory.
[00:42:05] It seems like I'm here to play is what it seems like, really. Because I could go. I have it high. I have it high. But I think Big Fun maybe six is not even a bad spot for me. But here's an interesting scenario for you is I could see a world where maybe I take one for the team and put it right below Carol for Two and keep a Carol for Two in real movie territory. Yeah, I like that.
[00:42:35] I like that. How about that? What does that do for that? Hey, Brian, what if I put it to Big Fun maybe six at the end of the list and I move Carol for Two above Christmas on call? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Deal. Pleasure doing business with you. That's ridiculous. That looks really good. You don't even think things through. It looks really good. Because he says it, he bullies you into it. You don't even think for a second. You don't even think for a second. I think he will get you into a lot of trouble.
[00:43:02] You and I both have a 90s Christmas higher. I was willing to put Carol for Two right where you have it. No, you were going to have it. I think that on call was too high. I got you. But we could have talked that through too. I got you what you wanted. And now you just have 90s Christmas. You goofed. You got bowling into it. I didn't go away. I didn't believe anything. I wouldn't mind getting 90s up to that top shelf there.
[00:43:32] I will see. I don't say it. You can't say it. We're talking here. We're just talking. Let's do it. Let's do it. Carol for Two. And then bring 90s up. Move it back. 90s in front of on call. Move Christmas. No, Carol for Two back. And move 90s off the board if you don't want my deal. You're saying no deal to me. That's fine. And I'm saying let's bring 90s up to real movie. Do as we say. What he's doing is. And then I'm saying. No, he didn't say that. But I'm open to it.
[00:44:02] If you want Carol for Two. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Carol for Two's got to be up there. We got to keep it up there. And we get 90s up there. What happens to on call? I can move on call down. Just shoot it on. Put 90s where on call is. I'd be open to putting. I'd be open to putting Carol Christmas on call below 90s. Put 90s in real movie. Bring Christmas Carol. Carol Christmas on call down. Yeah. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. Yeah. I'm open to that. That's what we're all talking about here.
[00:44:31] That's not what Dan's talking about. Dan came out here. I didn't. Once again. All I said was. I'll move it up. If you put 90s in big fun. Maybe six. I'll move Carol for Two up the board ahead of Christmas on call. That's all I said. That was it. Your offer wasn't to move Carol for Two up at all. But I could be. I offered. And then you said I bullied him. Which wasn't true. He was frustrated. Yeah. I offered him what he wanted. He heard you. But I offered him what he wanted. But then he didn't even. He didn't even want to be open to a conversation with Bran.
[00:45:01] And I. Okay. Then right now I have 90s Christmas and standard feels. Where do you have it? Where did. Bri. Where do you got it? Yeah. I mean. I feel like if we get it up to real movie territory. That's where it belongs. But. That's where you have it? Because you could get this without moving anything. Bran. But. Why are you. Why are you horse trading when that's where he's going to put it in? Well. I don't have to have it up there. Where. Okay. Bran's got it in. You have to break the tie. Bran's got it in real movie territory. I got it in standard feels. I know.
[00:45:31] Where do you got it? I know. The thing is. It's just. It's just. We got. On call up there. And you tell him where you got it. And then. Yeah. I know. You can figure out how to horse trade. I know. But I like the deal where we had 90s up there. And Carol for two up there. And Christmas on call is moving down. Down to big fun. Maybe six. No. Just down. Just shoot it on over to the side a little bit. You guys are losing the ranking part of this. Let's put it on in real movie territory then. Okay. Real movie territory. We'll see where it ends up. Put it in real movie territory. All right.
[00:46:01] Great. That's where it is. Great. Here we go. It's not going to last guys. Deck the walls. Deck the walls. Walls. There were some walls. That were decked. They decked them out. Standard. It's a standard movie. Yeah. Sure. Why not? It's a standard movie. Standard feels. We all agree. Standard. We all agree. A little higher than that. I have it a little higher than those two movies. Yes. I have it right there. That's exactly where I have it. I'll take it.
[00:46:31] That works? You can go higher. Yeah. I like that. I like that. I have it and I'll take it. Great. All right. Move. Holiday Touchdown. Holiday Touchdown. Yeah. Of the movies on the board right now, I have it one. Yeah. Brand? Of the movies on the board right now? That's right. You have it one as well, correct? Yeah. I do not have it one of the movies on the board, but I do have it real movie territory. So go real movie territory. I want it one right now. Brand? I want a rock right now. There you go. I want a rock. Yeah.
[00:47:01] Okay. I like that. Great. The finish line. The finish line. I have the finish line one overall. You know what I have? It can't be one. Finish line, I have it one overall. It's my favorite movie of this crop. Very close with Holiday Touchdown. One in 1A even. I have it one overall. I'm fond of it. Yeah. I mean, I'm fond of it. It's in my top 10, top 9. And it's top 8. But I do have below 90s, right below 90s.
[00:47:30] Oh, that's interesting, huh? So the back end there is where I've got it. We got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 in real movie territory right now. Yeah. I'm just telling you, Brian, you have to pick which of these movies you want to champion. Is it going to be Carol for 2, or is it going to be the Santa Claus, or is it going to be 90s Christmas? It's not going to be 90s Christmas. That's why the deal that I made made the most sense. What if we move the finish line down, but we move Christmas on call all the way down?
[00:47:59] We move finish line to behind 90s, and then we move Christmas on call to behind the finish line. And potentially moving down. Where does 90s go? 90s is where it is. But we move finish line behind it, and then on call behind that. How about that? How about it? So you're going to put Christmas on call. But remember, Brian, when the Santa Claus comes, Yeah. He's not going to do it.
[00:48:26] Like, he's doing this now, and Santa Claus isn't going to make it. Yeah. Like, there's a world, and you can't get 3 of 3. You can get 2 of 3. I think you can get 2 of 3. I think you can get Carol for 2 and Santa Claus if you'll sacrifice 90s Christmas. I think you can. Yeah, maybe. We'll see. I think you can get both. We're not there yet. I don't really know what's going on, but I'm having fun. I'm having fun. So you had finish line second, but you're moving it. Who, me? Yeah.
[00:48:56] No. Oh, okay. Yeah. Okay. I have it right exactly where I want it. Right. Okay. Same here. And so time out. He has it exactly where he wants it, and so did you. What was the deal that was made? We moved it down to where we wanted. We just moved it down to where we wanted. So why did Christmas on call move? That was part of the deal. Part of the deal. It's a package deal. But you guys both just ranked it. Dan, again, with the thinking, it's just too much. So you guys made a deal to do what? Put it where you were going to put it anyway? That's right. I don't understand. That's right. That's where you would rank the movie. That's right. So what happened?
[00:49:26] I actually, I have, in this deal, you might be pulling one over on me. Yeah. Because you have a Carol for it. And moved a movie down. He had higher for no reason. I think we did the right thing. You have a Carol for two. Listen, you got to have morals. Okay? And you have to hang by your morals. I really do like a Carol for two. I like it. You just did it for the fun of it. You could have just had it there for nothing. I'm just playing around. Here we go. All right. Here we go. I'm just playing around. That's all. You don't like it, Dan. You don't like it one bit. I'm fine. I just, if you have, if you were going to get the movie there anyway, why would you sacrifice
[00:49:56] one of your movies? I don't know how high you have 90s. He said nine or eight, and then you moved Christmas on call down when you didn't have to. You could have gotten it there for nothing. You could have literally gotten it to that spot. Yeah. I want a nice, it's more important for me to have nineties. But you didn't move that at all. That was finish line. I was going to be behind that regardless. I don't know. You moved Christmas on call down because you thought you would need to move him up. He was, that's where he was in a good place right now. All right. All right.
[00:50:26] Let's keep going. Dancing the snow. Nope. The Christmas Quest. Christmas Quest. The Christmas Quest. It's ahead of all those movies, but the top four. So I have it after ahead of Carol for two. Where have it? Of the movies on the board right now. I have it super low. I have it. Stennerfields? I think it falls into. Wow. Maybe lower.
[00:50:55] Maybe even bad, bad, bad, bad. I'm telling on you. Don't tell. I'm going to tell. Brian, where do you have it? Don't. I have it higher. How high do you go? Personally, if it's up to me, I have it. I have. Everybody else is higher on Santa Tell Me than I am currently. I don't have Santa Tell Me at two. Neither do I, Brent. Neither do I. I'll go Christmas Quest at two. If you move finish line back up to three.
[00:51:24] Finish Line is my favorite movie. I care about that movie. Christmas Quest is not a top five movie to me, but I get it. Santa Tell Me is not a top two movie to me. And I'll put. Well, hold on. What's Santa Tell Me doing there? Good question. You were hot. You have it. I put it at one and no one disagreed with me at the time. Oh, yeah. So at the time, there were only two movies in that category. That and five year. There wasn't any other movies. Oh, and you have it higher than five year. Yeah. I see. Oh, or we made a deal to move Very Vermont back down maybe. I don't remember.
[00:51:52] I feel like I ended up seeing the bad side of Tanner's house on that one. But if Christmas Quest, I mean, he's got it three. He's got it way low. Yeah. Way low. If you put that up there, it's going to mess up his whole thing. What I'm telling you is, is it is a top 10 movie. That's right. So if you want to go higher with it, I'll sacrifice Santa Tell Me for that and Finish Line. If you want to move Santa Tell Me down two more spots and then move Finish Line up and Christmas Quest up, I'm fine with that.
[00:52:24] Uh-huh. Uh-huh. But Finish Line's too low. If you want to move, I'd be willing to go Santa Tell Me down past Christmas with the Sings, like down there near Carol for Two, if you move Finish Line and I'll move Christmas Quest up as well. Because I have Christmas Quest down there by Carol for Two right now. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I see what you're saying. I see what you're saying. Yep. Yep. Yep. Um, it's an interesting. Or we'll just, we'll just, if we vote on it, Brian, here's what happens. You have it at two.
[00:52:54] I have it at five. Brian has it really low, so it's going to go in that category regardless. Yeah. If we don't do anything. I want to just put it in there and then we can play. Okay. We can put it. I have it at five. Brian's got it at two. Brian's going to have it lower, so it goes at five. Great. I like that. Five overall. Five overall. Five overall. I like that. That's nice. Right there. That's nice. Three, six, nine. Yep. It's perfect. That's nice. All right. What's next?
[00:53:22] Um, a dance in the snow, a dance in the snow. Number one overall. A nice movie. Very nice. A nice movie. A sweet movie. A standard feels movie. Maybe. I'd say. Yeah. I have it in standard feels. That's where I have it. Great. I have it a little bit higher though. I have it higher than all those movies. I have it right there. Nope. I had a jingle bell run. Um, well, I don't know about that. It won't even let it do it. It's like, this is the most ridiculous thing. That's where I have it. I'm not.
[00:53:51] That's just where I have it. Yeah. I would just throw it in there and then we can deal with it. Uh, private princess Christmas. Brr. Yeah. I mean, I, I have it in a dumpster fire. I do too. We're getting full up there. That's fine. Top end of dumpster fire. Like, uh, probably at the top of it right now. It's not going to maybe. Yeah. Sure. I think there's something wrong with my letterbox. Cause it ended up in a big phone, maybe six for me. Definitely something wrong.
[00:54:20] Definitely something wrong. It's a little wonky. Yeah. It's dumpster fire. It is. It gets away from you sometimes. Yeah. Sometimes letterbox kind of goes on the fritz. Yeah. I mean, I guess if, if we're doing a law of averages, then yeah, to the very top of it. Cause somebody, um, sugar plumbed, uh, interesting one. I loved sugar plumbed. Oh boy. This is tricky. We got it. I got it real movie territory.
[00:54:49] I got it above nineties Christmas. Um, I actually have it six. I have it six as well. Looks like it's six brand. That's fine. Six. Great. Um, yes. Christmas on call has to go down at that point. Correct. Leah's Leah's perfect. Yes. Um, Mark Summers, my guy. Nope. Nope. Nope. That's the one with the angry family. Yeah. This movie bumped me out.
[00:55:19] This movie is terrible. Um, but it has to go in, man, I, I, my list that can't be three, six, nine, 12, 13, 14, 15. I'm fine at the very top of bad of a bad bad or the bottom of standard. Yeah. I like it. I like it in the bad, but I like that. That's nice. That's where I have it technically, but I'm, I'm fine for some wiggle there. Um, all I need for Christmas. All I need.
[00:55:47] Well, Dan Janot with the guitar and the Christmas tree and the frozen. Yeah. Forgettable. Not good. Uh, I, I think bottom of, well, ahead of joyful Mrs. Miracle is where I would have it. That's fine. I like, I have it in bad, but I don't really care. Yeah. I would like joyful Mrs. Miracle ahead of that just for the record. Okay. Sure. Let the record show. And the record does show. Philo. Philo. I don't care. Uh, Hanukkah on rocks. Uh, this may be an argument.
[00:56:16] Uh, smart summer. Yes. Yup. Yup. Yeah. I feel like I've heard this. If memory. I mean, I have it in standard. Okay. It is for me too. Great. Where do you have it? I have a low, you have a lower. I put it at the bottom of standard feels. I don't know. Those movies are. Nope. I wouldn't. I'm anywhere. That's fine. Right. Oh, right. Between deck. The walls. I think this time each year is a better movie.
[00:56:44] I also think this time each year is a better movie than jingle bell run though, but that's fine. All right. What's next? Santa class. Okay. Santa class. That was this year. So that was. New one this year. Yes. 10 for me. So that's big fun. Maybe six. Ooh. I have a big fun. Maybe six as well. Oh man. Yeah. I have this one, one overall for the record again, just so it's on the record. Hey, Bri. Yeah, Dan. Just looking at the board here.
[00:57:10] I, uh, I'm cool with Santa class at one, two, three, four, five, six, seven ahead of Carol for two. But I need nineties Christmas back in big fun. Maybe six. Oh yeah. You do. Cause I want finish lines important to me. In fact, I want finish line higher, but I know Santa class you think is better than Carol for two. I would do that trade with you.
[00:57:39] Santa class is better than careful to. Yeah. But they're close to, so that not. So Santa class is one for you and it's not going to be in the top. Right. I understand. Um, yeah, I got to get Santa class up there, uh, and moving nineties down. Yeah. Yeah. I would make that trade. Okay. I would definitely trade. Let's get Santa class on up there. There we go. Right next to the finish. As far as we're concerned, the eight and nine are the top one and two, right? Yes. Yes. Yes.
[00:58:08] Eight and nine are one and two for me. Yeah. Of course. For you and I, we're one in one is what we are. Uh, following yonder star. Yeah. Following yonder star. We got another problem, which is this is a big fun, maybe six movie. And that's categories getting full. Uh, yeah, we have four left. Oh, well then this is going to work out. What do we have left? Okay. Yeah. I think following yonder stars, big fun, maybe six movie. Do you agree?
[00:58:38] Yes. Yes. Well, I think it's a big fun, maybe six. I have a little higher than that. Do you know? I got it like 14 ish. You ever shake his hand? Man. Yes. What a guy. Yeah. I got it up there ahead of twas the date, but I'm good with it anywhere in there. I can't believe I'm fighting for that movie, but I am. I thought it was really good. Where did it land? It's currently landing at 17. Bram. Where do you, I mean. You want it twas the date. You want it in the middle of a big fun. Yeah. I want it in the middle of big fun too. No, no, no. I'm just saying that's what you want. Yes.
[00:59:08] I want it right there by three wiser men. Why don't you move it up there and then let's move confessions over a couple too, maybe just bring it along for the ride. What does Bram want? I don't know. Wait a minute, Bram. Does it matter? He's in the sandbox right now. Don't worry about it. He's in the sandbox. I like it exactly where it is right now. Right after us. Yeah. I like that. Yeah. I like that. All right. Believe in Christmas, which I missed. So this is a little bit, or what is that? What it's called? Believe in Christmas. Oh, the one with the. Oh, yeah. It actually was earlier in the season and I missed it in the order.
[00:59:38] This movie is utter trash and I had it as a dumpster fire and I'm going to lose on that and I understand it. So let's just put it in bad, bad, bad, bad and be done. Why would you lose that? You think it's dumpster fire? Yeah. Well, let's do it. But now we're going to problem. What do you think, Bram? We got one more that's going there. Yeah. Happy holidays. Well. Yeah. I mean, I'm much higher, I believe. Okay. That's not a secret. End of bad, bad, bad, bad. All right. Where do you want it, Bram? Where do you want it, Bram? Yeah. Right there. Right there? Sure. Great. All right. Trading up Christmas. I had it very close to dumpster fire.
[01:00:07] I had this movie almost at the end of bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. But obviously, I had to believe in Christmas. Where'd you guys have it? I have it in bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. We're going to be one move. Let's see. Nope. We're going to hit it. Right. Then happy holidays. Happy holidays is the worst movie of the year. Like, it's fundamentally the worst movie of the year, right? It has to be. Yes. All right. Good. Bram's with. Has just for the record. I don't agree.
[01:00:35] Nine times four is 36. Oh, we did nine, nine, nine, nine, seven instead of two eights. I see what we did there. Interesting. Yeah. Interesting. Okay. Let's, can I interest you, Dan? Let's focus first. Let's lock in dumpster fire. Let's lock in dumpster fire in the order in which it is. Those are the nine worst. I do think that those are the nine worst.
[01:01:03] And, uh, I'm, I'm, I, yeah, I'm content with it. I am too. I have a few minor quibbles, but I think that that is as close as we're going to get to what I would like it to be. Great. Brett, Brian. Yeah. Brett Debbie. Yeah. We don't have time. Yep. Yep. Uh, bad, but bad, bad. I like that too. I think that's a good word. Personally, I would have believe in Christmas a little bit higher, but that's just me. I would have believe in Christmas switch with private princess Christmas. So I'm cool with it where it is.
[01:01:34] Uh, I can't believe trading up Christmas is lower than believe in Christmas purely, uh, on the back of Italia reach. Yeah. But, um, that's true. Yeah. I don't mind that. I like, I'm fine putting, I would personally, I like trading up Christmas more than I like scouting for Christmas. So I'm, I would like to move. Can we move that up and move Leah's perfect gift down some? Yeah. Heck yeah. Can we move that up to where scout falling like snowflakes is trade? Right there. Yeah.
[01:02:01] And then move Leah's down to like scouting level. Ooh. Can we do that? Like after scouting or before scouting? Before. Right there. This looks good for Rosner. Yeah. This really works in his favor. Give, give a Rosner bump. Get that Rosner bump. It's a Rosner bump. I like that. Okay. That's fun. All right. Yeah. I mean, personally, I think holiday mismatch is too high, but. Uh, you know what I love about, uh, holiday mismatch is too high brain. And you're right. But miracle is too low.
[01:02:31] Let's go. How far down you want to go with holiday mismatch? I think it's the. It's one of my least favorite movies of the year. So I would move it all the way down. I would go down to, I can't reason for the season is my line in the sand there. I can't go any lower than that because that movie is basically like, what if we play with a plebeians and we just let the billionaire go and not tell anybody, but I would be willing to move it down past scouting. I like that. All right. Let's do it. The Rosner bump. It continues. Here we go. Oh, that feels good. That feels great. That feels good.
[01:03:00] Can we move Mrs. Miracle above reason for the season? I think we should. Just on how fun Rachel was. Yes. In her bag. They're both terrible. Those movies are both terrible. But I would rather watch Rachel be whimsical than watch Taylor Cole pretend to be a billionaire. That movie's so boring. No, I'm not with that. Oh, come on. I'm fine here. But if Brian is, we can. All right. Great. The next category are the seven movies that all are the same ranking for me. So I'm fine with them how they are. And I don't care if anyone thinks otherwise. I'm also fine with that.
[01:03:28] You can move any of those movies to the top or bottom of that category. And I don't care. That's right. Are you passionate about anything, Brian? I had Jingle Bell Run higher than I would put that at the top of this category. But I think Brandon to move it on up. Yeah. Dance in the Snow Down, Jingle Bell Run up. Okay. Great. All those movies are fine. I would have trivia at St. Nick's a scotch higher. Maybe in front of Deck the Walls. If I had my way? If I had my way?
[01:03:57] I have Deck the Walls higher. Okay. Then leave it there. Well, then there we are. Done and done. Wow. We just really bent to the... I don't care. How many words did I have to say? I've said I don't care. Yeah. That's true. You did say that. So I'm going to go on whatever side is status quo at this point. Sure. For that one. You're all about that. Yeah. You know me. Just don't really have an opinion. All right. Big fun. Yep. Maybe six. Okay. Okay.
[01:04:20] I think that Christmas on Call, Three Wiser Men, and our holiday story. But at this point, we can't do anything about that. I think that Christmas on Call and Three Wiser Men are criminally underrated on this list. I do. The fact that neither of those movies are in the top ten are just crazy. But you know what? I think this is as close to representing everyone as we're going to get. So if we need to leave them there, we need to leave them there. Because I think Brand Love 90s Christmas, so you put it at ten, it sneaks in the top ten,
[01:04:48] but it doesn't get into that top category. Everybody wins. Does Christmas Quest, is that more important to you than those? Christmas Quest? Hey, Dan, would you move a 90s Christmas up to real movie and move Carol for two down to Big Fun Movie six? Go now. Five. Four. Three. Yes. I would. I would. I feel you looking at me. I would. And so let it be so. Yeah. At the end, Carol for two days. Oh, that's nice. Oh, that hurts. Oh, that feels good.
[01:05:17] It won't let it happen, unfortunately. How about that? And we've got to keep Christmas Quest up there all the way up there, huh? Well, I can. All right. Are we good with Big Fun? Well, I mean, the only dealing I want to do is to get Christmas on Call on that top line. But I think everybody has their movie that they're fans of up there. I don't think there's anybody that's going to be willing to deal anymore. I just, I, I, listen, I could, I can make you a, I can make you a deal to get Christmas on Call.
[01:05:45] What movie's going down that isn't going to lose somebody? Hey, the Santa class, and you guys made deals. And I, and as somebody who's been on the wrong side of the way deals are done in this organization. But what's stopping is hour long podcast of it just being a deal. Like you take this one off. Now, listen, Santa class is beloved. It's a beloved movie. It is. And, and, uh, out in inside and outside. Hey, how about this? Hey, how about this? How about it? Hey, Brian. Listen to me. Hey, Brian. What, what do you got? Go ahead.
[01:06:14] No, I'm just, I'm just thinking, I'm just trying to interrupt, interject. I, what? Hey, Brian. Hey, Brian. Hey, what if we, we moved nineties up to Santa tell me territory and move Santa tell me where Carol for two and move Carol for two back up to the nineties? No, you're not that low on Santa tell me. You're not one of the dumbest. That's crazy. One of the dumbest things ever. Hey, let me tell you what I would do, Brian. Yeah. What if we move both finish line and Christmas quest up to the top line by holiday touchdown?
[01:06:43] I, I would be inclined to do that with sugar plumbed. Uh, Oh, finish line and sugar plumbed. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. In which order? Um, yeah, that's the thing. How about this? I'll do finish line for, I'll do holiday touchdown, then finish line, then the sugar plumbed or, and keep everything else the way it is or sugar or no, I'll do finish line second and sugar plum third and move nineties Christmas up a spot for you. Oh, that's interesting.
[01:07:12] Or I'll do it third, but keep nineties where it is. How about we do it and move, uh, and will you let me move Christmas quest up one as well? No, wait a minute. No, no. Finish line two, sugar plumbed three. Nineties Christmas is at eight instead of nine. You won't let me move Christmas quest any higher? No. Not with that deal. If I could get finish line at one, if I can get finish line at one, then I'm cool moving Christmas quest up one.
[01:07:41] What if we get rid of nineties Christmas, move finish line up to one, get Carol for two back on up there? God, I don't. Nineties Christmas is better. You've got a deal. Nineties Christmas is better than Carol for two. In my opinion. We're going finish line. Yeah. Finish line two. Sugar plumb three. Sugar plumb three. Nineties eight. Yeah. I don't like that. That looks good. Doesn't it? Christmas quest. It has to be above Santa class like this. Dude, it's so dirty.
[01:08:08] Every, the thing is, is that knowing how divided everyone is, is everyone's mad regardless. I love this. I've also got to go pick up children. So it's got to be good enough. Did we lock it in? We locked it in. Aaron, give us the read real quick from worst to best. Okay. Cause I can't read that far away. Yeah. No worries. I'm starting at the bottom of the dumpster fire. We have happy holidays. Five Gold Rings, To Have and To Holiday, Tis the Season, To Be Irish, A Very Vermont Christmas,
[01:08:38] Novel Noel, Operation Nutcracker, My Sweet Austrian Holiday, and Private Princess Christmas. Yeah, that's good. That's good. All right. Bad, bad, bad, bad. Believe in Christmas, All I Need for Christmas, Debbie McComber's Joyful Mrs. Miracle, Reason for the Season, Holiday Mismatch, Scouting for Christmas, Leah's Perfect Gift, Trading Up Christmas, and Falling Like Snowflakes, starring Marcus Rosner.
[01:09:08] I like that a lot. I like that a lot. All right. Standard Feels, The Christmas Charade, Trivia at St. Nick's, Deck the Walls, Hanukkah on the Rocks, This Time Each Year, A Dance in the Snow, and Jingle Bell Run. All right. Top 18. Here we go. All right. Big fun. Maybe six. We have Christmas Under the Lights, Confessions of a Christmas Letter, Our Holiday Story, Twas
[01:09:36] the Date Before Christmas, Holiday Crashers, Following Yonder Star, Three Wiser Men and a Boy, Christmas on Call, and A Carol for Two. And your real movie territory for the 2024 Hallmark season. Here we go. I love it. The Santa Class. Yeah. A 90s Christmas. Uh-huh. The Christmas Quest. Sure. Christmas with the Sings. The Five Year Christmas Party.
[01:10:07] Santa Tell Me, Santa Tell Me, Sugar Plumbed, The Finish Line, and your number one movie, Holiday Touchdown, A Chief's Love Story. That's good. I feel like we did good work here today, guys. Great work, gang. Great work. We made a lot of bad deals, and I feel like- That's what we're just talking, and it turned into deals. Look at that. If we did it, everybody, congratulations. Let us know if you think we're wrong, because I'm sure you do. You will. That's Brian at deckthehallmark.com. And we'll be back with another one next time.
