[00:00:43] Hi, everybody. It's great to be here today. We're not going to feel guilty about calories right here. No. Don't you do it. It's not that. It's just that it is. There's something about a beverage. Yeah. Being that many calories. Yeah, when you're drinking a thousand calorie beverage, it does hit a little different. That's when it is different. But you know what? You do you. Okay. You be you. Do you be you. Who you? Who we? Who that? Who we. Maybe you've had enough. Who that? Maybe.

[00:01:13] Dan, you bring up a good point. We have already previewed a couple of Fall Movies. So cool, man. And after this one, we'll have a couple more to preview as well. What? Oh, yeah. That's right. Because we do it by month until we get to the holidays. Then we don't. Yes. That's right. You get it? So we will do a preview show for October for the three. Two movies. Two movies. And we're going to do an episode for two movies, Brian? The people would be disappointed. Can we just put them on this one? That doesn't feel right. No.

[00:01:42] Why not? What feels wrong about it? It doesn't sit well with me. How not? By the time people. That could also be the drink. By the time people get to. You and I are going to be trying to get up to Ryan's wedding, and you're going to be like, oh, we've got to do that dumb preview. It's going to happen. We've got to do that dumb preview episode, and we could have done it right now. No. It doesn't sound like something that would happen. Because people are going to get to October and be like, did they preview it? Did they cover it? Maybe I'll stop listening. People start their month with a preview.

[00:02:12] It's not real until it's a preview. That's exactly right. The month doesn't start until the preview episode. I walk in. Don't stop. It is fall on the Hallmark Channel. Yeah. Tonight, there's four movies on the October to September. Boy, you have had too much caffeine, and it's catching up with you. We're talking four movies today. What should we do? Oh, Laura in the chat is on my side here, which is when it comes to preview episodes, Laura's never on my side, and she says this one time.

[00:02:41] Sheila Calloway also agrees with me. I'm not doing it. This is crazy. I refuse. I'm doubling down. I'm doubling down. A two-movie preview episode. Yes. Well, let me say this, Dan. Especially when we're going to have the full Christmas schedule, and we're going to have to record those too. Yeah. Cheers, everybody. I'm fine, Dan, recording it today, but I will not release it until October.

[00:03:40] That's going to get sticky. Should we do... S'mores. Pumpkin spice? Just the spice itself? How many pumpkin spices? I'm not going to deploy to Brian anymore. That was the worst deployment of all time. You should just keep that back in the chamber. That was a bad idea. Apple crisp. I've never heard Brian sound so terrible in my life. It's all his caffeine brands had. I said the last movie we watched was an adult movie, and that was more above board than whatever Brian said.

[00:04:10] One to five drops of spices? And you got to do this with your hand? You got to do your hand. You can grind them as well if you want to. Apple crisps. Nutmegs with cream. Don't love it. Apple crisps. Apple crisps. Warm apple crisps with vanilla. All right. An apple. You hate that, do you, Brian? It's just so basic. What kind of boneheaded idea do you have that's better than that one? I started with spices. What about ghosts? Ghosts? Yeah.

[00:04:39] You don't want to save that for October? Yeah, maybe for the two-episode, the two-movie episode. Should we just do PSLs? To cream them? We're back to the OG. Isn't that the original? I'm not going to write down a thing. I said yes with the full confidence of knowing I was lying. You were just doing the best. Yeah, absolutely. I'm going to write it down. Are you kidding me? Up first, haunted harmony mysteries.

[00:05:10] We've seen this before. Not this one. Not this one. Colon prelude to a wedding. We could have done pralines. Pralines. We could have. Praline to what? Prelude to a wedding. Oh, that's what we're doing. That's exactly right. This is a little bit of a prelude to a wedding. This is premiering Saturday, September 5th, 8, 7 Central. Thank you. College football's back. Pass on that. Haunted Harmony. Get out of here.

[00:05:40] Yeah, the first Saturday of college football. Not interested. Who's playing? It's just Clemson LSU. It's not a big deal. Go purple team. I could count on perhaps one hand the amount of TVs in the greater Greenville area that will have this movie on over the cliff. Live? Are you kidding? At 8 o'clock live, the number of TVs in Greenville watching Hallmark would be, yeah. Yeah. Probably under a dozen for sure.

[00:06:09] That's insane. Starring, of course, Tamara, Sister, Sister. You know, you and I are hosting the public media award show, the first Sunday night of the NFL season. Oh, I know. AT's not thrilled. And the Eagles are playing. Go birds. Risteerd, Cooper, and Marco Grazzini. When Gethsemane is invited to play at a wedding, I think the piano is not just like, do you want to come out and play?

[00:06:39] Hide and go secrets. We got games? She and Eamon find themselves involved in the death of a member of the bridal party. That's all I got. Boy. It's not a lot. It's not a lot to go off. It's not a lot. I feel like I'm at least somewhat responsible here for saying I wanted more Haunted Harmony back in the day. You remember, they did the first one, and then we didn't get any for like a long time. And then I think, have we had two or three more since then? A bunch. Yeah, I think three since then. Yeah, so it's partly on me. I'll take some blame.

[00:07:08] I still like the conceit of these movies quite a bit, but they've gone a little wayward. And someone pointed out in the Double Decker Facebook group that Marco Grazzini is more at the forefront of this poster. He has been shortchanged for at least the last two movies. Yeah, we've started to say, oh, look at somebody. He's getting a Grazzini. Yeah, we've started to say that just as a verb. Yes. He got Grazzini. He got Grazzini.

[00:07:33] So if Marco Grazzini is going to get over 45 minutes of screen time, then I'm back on board. I don't believe that's going to happen. So I'm going to go one PSL. Ooh. And then let's hit pause on the Haunted Harmony for a little bit. I think the thing that bugs me about this specifically in August, I'm sorry, September. Yeah, there you go.

[00:07:58] It's a network for these movies called the Hallmark Mystery Channel. I can't believe we're still doing this. I only do it when it affects me personally. And it's true. No, you're right. Because this is taking up space for what could be a real fall movie. Right? A perfect movie for Hallmark Mystery to release in fall. Yeah. Ghost movie. Get over there. And then give me People Falling in Love Surrounded by Leaves. Notes of Autumn. So that affects me a little bit.

[00:08:27] I'm going just shy of down the middle. I'm going two and a half. Down the middle. Good for you, Brian. Just shy. A little frustration. I'm a little frustrated by it. I can tell. Brian, did you already go? No, I haven't. But I'm going to go three PSLs. I still remember from the last one. Yep. The tech twist that they included. Tech twist. I was really into that. Tech twist. Yeah, the TT they included. So yeah, right down the middle for me with a three. Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful. Three is a death sentence.

[00:08:55] If Brian gives it a three, he doesn't go lower than three. I mean, I went two and a half. That's about as low as it gets for me. But three is Brian's. He has a higher ceiling, a higher floor than you do. Yes, but my ceiling's higher because of the plus two. Yeah, because of the plus two that you do that nobody else does. Yes. Yeah. So by that. [00:09:25] This is starring the return of Alvina August, who I don't think we've seen since Delivered by Christmas, Dan. Could you confirm that for me? She might have been in one other movie. Okay. But I just remember her being phenomenal in Delivered by Christmas. She's so good in that movie. And then Nathan Witte, Witte. Witte. W-I-T-T-E. Probably Witte. He's been in. I think Witte. He's been in things.

[00:09:51] Animal Control, Falling into Place, Invasion, Tracker, Lucky Hank, So Help Me Todd. I've seen a bunch of those. Is this Alvina? Yeah. Zoe's Extraordinary Playlist. Nope. Not since Delivered by Christmas. Really? Wow. How about that? Welcome back. All right. Kaya returns home for her town's fall festival. Oh! Where are you going? Oh! I thought about going for a walk, but I decided not to. We've got a fall fest on our hands, folks. Heck yeah. We've got a fall fest on our hands. You guys okay?

[00:10:21] You know what you do for a living, right? Like this is what we're, I mean. Right. I'm doing it right now, baby. I'm doing it. Kaya returns home for her town's fall festival as well as her high school reunion and spends the week with her childhood best friend, James. Nice. To complete their unfinished fall bucket list. Oh, my God. We've got a fall bucket list! Woo! I'm going first. I'm going five, and I'm creaming this sucker.

[00:10:50] This is awesome. Zero. What? Zero. Come on. What do you mean zero? Complete the holiday bucket list with childhood sweetheart. It's a fall bucket list, sweetheart. Do you not like fall? Holiday is any holiday brand. It's not Christmas. I just put holiday in his insert holiday here. Fall's not a holiday. It's a season. Like, it's like this guy. It's like he doesn't know nothing. I hate this trope. I don't want to see it. Zero. Oh, man.

[00:11:21] A room down. Also, the second high five of the fall festival I took personally. Yeah, man. I'm going to go four and a half. Yeah! All right. I will hold my cream in it. No, not this one. No, not this one. This is a tough call. No, I'm at seven. Yeah, you're waiting. No, you're not. You're fine with a cream. That's not how that works, but it's fine. Oh, but my ceiling's higher. [00:12:21] Guys, so I have bad news. So we finally have a date for the Grouch Show Mystery, and we were, of course, going to do our live stream marathon for the Grouch Show Mystery. Yeah, it's all planned out. It's my wife's birthday weekend. I already have something planned that weekend. Well, you've got to cancel, right? Because we have to do this marathon. I don't know. Our hands might be tied. We might not have to do it. If you go and do this and celebrate your wife's birthday, I'm not going to do the marathon on my own. So if that's the card you want to play, I guess we can't do it.

[00:12:50] So if I cancel, you'll do it? Yeah. I didn't have anything planned yet, so we're doing it. No, I'm kidding. We're not going to do it, guys. Can you imagine? I will say, I'm not opposed to a January, February garage. If Garage Sale, how about we do this? We see this one. We take a gander at it. If they're going to do more of these, I do think it behooves us to watch them all. It behooves us to watch them all. Nice use of the behooves. Yeah. All right.

[00:13:18] Garage Sale Mysteries, colon. This would have been, actually, now that I'm thinking about it, another perfect movie for the mystery channel. Garage Sale Mysteries. It's in the name. Brand's upset, everybody. Colon, murder takes the stage. Murder takes the stage. Saturday, September 19th. Lori Loughlin returns to the network.

[00:13:45] One of the members of Jennifer Sharon's True Crime Book Club is murdered during the group's reenactment of the Lizzie Borden case. Oh, my gosh. The Lizzie Borden case? Reenactment? That's all I have. You can't do that. Dude, you reenacted the Lizzie Borden case. Did they get permission? They got all the permits they needed to do that? There's got to be more to this, right? There's a new Lizzie Borden movie out now. This must be right around this time when it happened. Yeah. I should know this. It was New England.

[00:14:15] Who's Lizzie Borden? I don't know anything. I thought it was made up. I thought it was a joke. No. It's a real case? Are you serious? No, we don't know anything about it. Go to the Lizzie Borden house. I think she killed her whole family. What? What are they doing? Why is homework doing? That's a lifetime thing. Yeah. Lizzie Borden's real? Yeah. I thought Lizzie Borden was a case from a free episode. I thought it was a fit. I feel bad about laughing now. Yeah, you and I were laughing about it. We were doing a whole thing. Okay, so I'm guessing... Fall River, yeah. Mass, yeah. She was acquitted of murdering her father and stepmother with a mass. Oh, she was acquitted.

[00:14:45] Yeah. Shout out Liz. So I allegedly, I guess I have to say. Yeah. So I'm guessing that Lori's character is Jennifer Sharon? Is this Jennifer Sharon's true crime book club? That's a good question. There's no way for us. She says the original title was Garage Sale Mysteries, She Took an Axe. Oh my gosh. Oh yeah, look at that. All right, this is going to get serious.

[00:15:11] But I mean, if she was acquitted, if she was acquitted as a woman in the early 1900s, she did not do it. They weren't catching any breaks. That's a great point. That's a great point. Yeah, I think there's a lot to this story. Yeah. I'm more intrigued actually now. I'm going to definitely do the research before we watch it. Oh, there's some Bruins news? Brian, this one seems like it's right up your neck of the woods. Yeah, yeah. Smucker style.

[00:15:40] What do you understand the reference? You want to try to put together a sentence? Smuckers? They're not in New England, are they? Nope. No, it's Smuckers, 100 years, Al Roker, How You Like Me Now. Okay. Yes! All fast! No! Yeah, you got him! You got him! Brain is on one right now. Lisa Farone's saying she definitely didn't. Lisa, how old are you? This was over 100 years ago. She was there.

[00:16:09] She knows. Like I said, it's probably a complicated thing. I didn't want... I feel weird creaming this because I haven't watched any of these and I know it's a well-established thing, so I just feel like I can't cream it. But I'm super intrigued. And this is a series coming back and all the hype. So I'm... Well, it's back in your neck of the woods too. It's Smucker style. It's Smucker style. Al Roker, four PSLs. Four PSLs! Yeah, I'm really locked in on this one. I wish it were on its own channel. Damn. Like if homework had a channel just for mysteries, that'd be cool. So I'll say this.

[00:16:39] I am intrigued by this. I've always wanted to watch the garage show mysteries and I just haven't because I had no reason to. Or protest. Yeah, because I'm a big rowing guy. And so it offended me. Row. Row test. I am intrigued by this though. I'm nervous that I'm going to go into it and not really know what's going on. And then I'm going to be sitting there twiddling my thumbs for an hour 24. You can do that though still. No, I got to take notes.

[00:17:08] I am going three right down the middle for this one. Okay. So I'm in a tough spot because I don't know the last movie and I've been Sweeney'd before and I just, I am in a tough spot because I creamed... The last one's not a mystery. Okay. I did creamed the, I believe I creamed the ranch movie or did I, what did you and I... Oh, did we both? No, we made a huge mistake. It was a Swenson movie. Did we both creamed the Swenson? It was not good. Whatever we had to creamed. We made a huge mistake.

[00:17:35] And also I'm excited that Lori Loughlin is back in a lead on the network. I mean, we've had a lot of fun joking here at Deck The Hallmark about that story. But the fact that it took this long for us to get her to get back on the network is crazy. She made a mistake and she apologized. Like I don't, it's not like it should have been a death sentence for her. So I'm thrilled that Lori Loughlin, a very endearing, talented woman is back on the network.

[00:18:03] I've not seen any of these mysteries, so I probably will not like this one because I don't have any of the backstory. I can in good conscience creamed this movie, even though that terrifies me about what I'm going to creamed last. But for Ms. Loughlin, two PSLs and $300,000. Last for the month of September is Pumpkin Regatta Romance. What's regatta?

[00:18:33] I would like to go and cream the garage. What's regatta? A regatta. Rowing, right? Is that what it is? Is it a crew thing? They're doing a boat movie the week after Lori Loughlin's return to the network? If it's a boat movie the week after Loughlin, that's something. Is regatta a boat race? That's what I thought it was. What is a regatta? It's a sporting event that features a single boat race or a series of boat races.

[00:19:03] I hope we get a series. They're welcoming Lori Loughlin back to the network and following up that movie with a rowing movie. Guys, during Lori's entire return, every commercial break there's going to be a preview for the rowing movie. For a rowing movie. That's right. Tell me homework doesn't have a sense of humor. There's no way. They could have put that anywhere they wanted on that schedule. That just clicked with me. I was typing that. Hold on. Wow. They're doing that. Wonderful. Every commercial you're going to see.

[00:19:32] Every commercial break, you're going to see a rowing commercial. That's funny. That's amazing. This is why they got rid of the Mystery Channel brand, so they could do this. That's true. That's true. I can't believe it. That's funny. Anyway, that doesn't take away from the fact that this movie is called Pumpkin Regatta. And I'm also creaming a boat race pumpkin movie. Heck yeah. I'm excited about it. This is Saturday, September 26th. It is starring Michelle.

[00:20:02] You have lost it. You want to... I don't know what you were doing. Here's what happened. Michelle. But it's spelled M-I-S-H-A-E-L. Why did you do a country hick accent? I don't... Yeah. Team up to heal the feud and revive the town's pumpkin regatta. I should have just creamed the Haunted Harmony. It was safe. It was there. I gave it one and a half or whatever. I don't remember. Would you rather Dan cream falling into place?

[00:21:31] What's that? It's the one that I creamed. That I gave zero? Yeah. Than this? Yeah. But I can't... You can't. Like, I can't retroactively cream. I can give you my cream from that. Oh. You can't. You've already dispensed it. I know. You can't give me that cream. Okay. That's very kind of you, but I... Because I could... I'm fine. I am perfectly content creaming either one of these. The consequences are the consequences. I'm going to have to cream. I'm giving it zero. It's a zero and a cream for the Pumpkin Boat movie. It's a two. It's not a two. No, it is not. [00:22:01] One of the craziest titles I think I've ever seen. Also, this synopsis is nonsensical. Yeah. Whitney in the chat says from the pictures, they are... It looks like they are rowing in pumpkins. What? Oh. Like the pumpkin is the boat? What? Oh. Yeah. Heck yeah. That is amazing. I hate my life. I wonder if it's just the foot pedal thing or are they actually like...
