Megan is a hotshot dealmaker. Her sister, on the other hand—Izzy—is always losing her keys and delivering pizzas. But when Megan comes to work, she finds out that she’s being fired, despite the fact that it's the company she founded. She’s at a bit of a loss about what to do next. She finally decides to visit her family and can’t get over the fact that her parents still babysit Izzy. She finally comes right out and says that she thinks she could turn Izzy’s life around. Was Megan just saying all of this because she was drunk? It’s possible, but it gets Izzy thinking. The next day, Izzy shows up and asks Megan for help.

Together, they come up with the idea of getting a board of directors to help guide Izzy’s life. So, Megan assembles a team: her stylist, Izzy’s current boss at the pizza place, their old babysitter, and a random guy Megan found online who likes to pop bubbles. His name is Dominic, and let me just say—holy cow. He’s a phys ed teacher and is basically going to watch and take notes, but everyone else has a role. They help Izzy with things like a makeover, her finances, and social media, etc. And it’s working! Izzy even lands a job as an art gallery receptionist.

Megan and Dominic start hanging out more and realize they enjoy each other's company. When Megan realizes she needs a crescent wrench, obviously, she texts him, and he comes running over. They end up watching a basketball game together, hang out more, and eventually kiss! Everything is going great until Izzy begins to get a little restless. Izzy throws a party at her new apartment and quits her job. Megan goes off on her and storms out.

This complicates things because Megan has been using this whole life-coach-by-committee idea to pitch hotshot investors, hoping it will become her new business. She finds an investor, and a press release goes out before she can tell Izzy or the board. When they find out, Izzy is very hurt, and everyone is disgusted with Megan, including Dominic. Game over, bucko.

Izzy decides not to take the deal and instead throws a big birthday party for Megan. They make up, and she ends up dancing with Dominic—where they kiss again.

[00:00:01] [SPEAKER_04] Hi, I'm Brian and I love Hallmark Movies. I'm Brian and I like Hallmark Movies. I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark Movies. I'm Chase and my thoughts on Hallmark Movies could be summed up from a quote from this movie, which is, I wouldn't say fan, more of an algemarithically accidental viewer. And this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast. Deck The Hallmark, it's this podcast. And friends host this podcast. We hope you like this jolly podcast.

[00:00:39] [SPEAKER_03] He came prepared. An algemarithmic.

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah, really dropped the ball. You want another throw at it? Algemarithmic. I think he's nailed it. One of those algemarithms. You should have practiced in the car. That's a Hallmark version. That's the nutty professor's version of an algorithm.

[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_04] Dang. I can't believe I dropped the ball immediately.

[00:00:54] [SPEAKER_03] How would you do it if we were going to redo it? We're not going to redo it. But how would you do it?

[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_04] Now it's in my head. I think if I tried it again, I'd say it the exact same way. Algemarithmic. How would you say it, Brian?

[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_01] Algemarithmic. Algemarithmic. Honestly, he did better than I would.

[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_00] Algemarithmic. That's pretty good, man.

[00:01:10] [SPEAKER_01] Algemarithmic.

[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_00] Algemarithmic. It doesn't bounce though. It doesn't bounce.

[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_03] Algemarithmic. It needs a little extra sauce. Hi everybody. Welcome to another episode of Deck the Hallmark. It's great to be here today on a Tuesday talking Sisterhood, Inc. And we've got a special guest, Chase, with us today. Chase. Oh, God. Chase. In the studio. We found them through the algorithm. Yeah, you did. And through the latest Brain Will Jam podcast, Making the Merge, which is a Survivor podcast all about the TV show Survivor. Super pumped for Survivor this year, Brandon. I know you are. You watch it nonstop.

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_03] And new season of Survivor starts tomorrow. New season of Making the Merge starts the day after that, I guess. I don't know. Chase, hi. Hey. I'm on the show. Yeah, I was about to say, you acted like you didn't know. I know. I know. So I'm on the show. Basically, here's what happened. I fell in love with the show Survivor and I found Making the Merge and I bullied my way in. Is that a really tech story? Yeah. Podcast bully. Yes, I'm a podcast bully.

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_03] And I just said, can I come on? And then I never left. That's basically how it worked out. And here we are today starting another season. It's very exciting. Now, tell people really quickly about how the podcast got started. Because it was birthed out of a draft that you and PD did. Yeah.

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_04] So PD, one of our co-hosts, we were just huge fans of Survivor. We started doing a draft, just the two of us. So we would split up the contestants at the beginning of a season. Whoever had the winner won the draft that season. And then we invited two more people, Jonathan and his wife, Kristen. And then we did that for two more seasons. And then we were like, we got to make money off of this. Yeah. Of course. This is too much fun. So we started doing the podcast, blew up on TikTok. TikTok! TikTok. And then TikTok went away for a little bit. And we were like, hey, we're done.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_04] And then Bran came and saved us. That's right. And I saved TikTok. You did save TikTok.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_03] That was the narrative that I got was Bran saved TikTok. That's exactly right. Of course. I'm really excited to just have somebody to talk about Survivor with. So we're excited you do too. Yeah.

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_04] So excited, Bran. It's going to be great for us. Do you guys not like Survivor? We don't like Survivor.

[00:03:20] [SPEAKER_01] So you don't like Hallmark or Survivor. You need a different job. I watched season one of Survivor before you were alive. I watched season one of Survivor right around when you were born-ish. Yeah, yeah. 99. Yeah. Richard Hatch. I watched the whole season. Spoilers. I saw Richard Hatch. That's a contestant. Gervais, is that a spoiler for you?

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_02] Come on.

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_01] You're not spoiling anything, man. You're spoiling stuff. So I watched it because it was a phenomenon. We couldn't get away from it. Everybody watched it. There's nothing we could do. Did you watch it? No.

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_00] I've never been super into it. I did watch the last season and was into that. I watched it with my kids. The most recent one.

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_01] I watched the first season and I remember coming back for season two and the first episode I was bored to tears and I've never watched it since.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_04] Season two, that was Australia. Sure. That's right.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_01] The Outback.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_04] Not to sound like an expert, but I am. You have done years and years.

[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_02] I'll say a number, you say where it was filled. Yeah. Yeah. 16.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_04] I don't know. Oh man. First one out. How did they switch to Fiji only? We talked about this the other day. 30? 30. Near 30. Okay.

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_00] What's so great about Survivor? That's a good idea.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_04] I'm gonna do a Jeff Probst answer because whenever people ask him this question, which is a lot, he always gives the same answer. What's so great about Survivor is we are taking people from all over the country, all different walks of lives and we are putting together, it is the best social experiment on TV.

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_00] That's what Jeff always says. The only thing missing from there is algorithm. Algorithmic. Algorithmic. Algorithmic. Yeah, no algorithms to be found here. You're gonna be laying down here.

[00:04:44] [SPEAKER_03] I'm no Danielle Panabaker, I'll say that.

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_01] You said it.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_03] None of us are. None of us are.

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_04] Go ahead, Dan.

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_01] Do you wanna be on Survivor? Do you ever wanna be on Survivor?

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_04] I've thought about this a lot. Yeah. And I don't think I would do very well. Why not? He would do terribly. I don't get along with people. I grow on people over time and 18 days or whatever, what is it now? 20-something. It's not enough time. Not enough time for me to grow on it. I need longer. You grow on me immediately. Well, that's a very rare case. You looked at me and you saw dollar signs. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_01] We're all about the money around here. We've said that for years now.

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_03] Chase, you also have a YouTube channel, thriving YouTube channel. Very lucky. Where basically your whole thing is you will start a TV show that has some sort of mystery and you will try to guess the mystery before it is revealed.

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_04] Done Twin Peaks, Pretty Little Liars, Riverdale, The Simpsons, Who Shot Mr. Burns, Family Guy, who done it? Yeah.

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_03] Bridgerton. Bridgerton. It's pretty popular. And I'm a fan when I watched the show. Like, I watched all of the Riverdale one because I love Riverdale. And then I tried to watch Bridgerton and I was like, I don't like Chase this much. I haven't been with him for twice. He hasn't grown on you enough. No, not nearly. Give me more than 28 days. That's what he's talking about. That's exactly right. Of course. Well, join us over on the Making the Merge podcast all Survivor season if you just want to hear us talk. Maybe you don't even like Survivor. I think you'll still like the show.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_00] Do you do any merger acquisition talk? Any watchdog stuff? That's interesting. That would get Brian involved for sure.

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_01] I mean, that's like an area of- Are there minutes? Does somebody take minutes? Do you share those with the team? We'll do a merger and acquisition minute.

[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_04] If you think this show is low effort, you would be appalled by our show.

[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_03] Let's talk Sisterhood Inc., shall we? Sure.

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_01] You've never seen a Hallmark movie. Correct.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_04] This was the first one to completion. Wow. Now I've seen bits and pieces from my mom and grandma's TV. Sure. Sure. Yeah.

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_03] Sisterhood Inc., originally out on the Hallmark Channel, February 22nd, 2025. And it went a little something like this. Megan is a hotshot dealmaker. Her sister, on the other hand, Izzy, is always losing her keys and delivering pizzas and whatnot. But when Megan- Oh, yeah. You're not used to being on the camera. I'm so thrilled.

[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_01] Brian gets to be in the synopsis shot, which-

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_00] I wish I knew so.

[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_01] I mean, this is working for the big show, Brian. One of these days, I'm going to get there.

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_00] Working your way up, man. Yeah. One day. Keep going with the pizza thing. Go ahead. Yeah.

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_03] She's delivered pizza. But when Megan comes to work, she finds out that she is being fired, despite the fact that it's the company that she founded. She's at a bit of a loss about what to do next. She decides that she's going to go and visit her family because it's been a long time, and she can't get over the fact that her parents still just treat Izzy like she's a child. She still lives there. What is- What's what you're doing right now?

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_01] I thought Brian was going to act out the synopsis. Right. He's in the car. Oh, you're still delivering pizza. He can't get the car started. I got the car going. The best job you ever had, Vic. Yes. It was like a two synopsis for one situation. Yeah, two for- It was great. Class. 30 minutes for last.

[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Um, she finally comes out and says that she thinks that she could turn Izzy's life around. Was Megan saying all this because she was drunk? Possibly. Uh, but it also gets Izzy thinking, and the next day she shows up and she asks Megan for her help. Together they come up with an idea of getting a board of directors to help guide Izzy's life and get her on the right track. So Megan assembles a team, uh, a team, her stylist, Izzy's current boss at the pizza place.

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_03] There's an old babysitter and a random guy that, uh, Megan found online who likes to pop bubbles. That's his thing. Uh, his name is Dominic. The donkey. Dominic. Dominic.

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_02] How are you, buddy?

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_06] All right.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah. Outside of the season. This is crazy. Happy Easter. Happy Easter. Okay. Jesus in the town. It's quality. You, you wrote Jesus in the town. I'm immortal.

[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_06] How's your back?

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_02] Incredible. Donkeys are forever.

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_01] Does this, is Dominic, did Dominic say that he's forever, like he wrote Jesus. So the same Dominic from the Christmas song is the donkey that wrote Jesus in the town on Palm Sunday. Is that the way I'm understanding this for people?

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Dominic, can you fill us in there? Who's going to prove a role? You got it. Okay. Do you have, do you think the, we'll get back to it. Hallelujah. Do you think that you being forever has anything to do with the fact that you touched Jesus?

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah, buddy.

[00:09:17] [SPEAKER_03] Ooh. Amen, brother.

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_04] Hey, I was like, I should be respectful and not interrupt while he's doing this synopsis. Do you have questions? This is not that, no, I'm awake. Okay.

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_03] Do you have questions for Dominic before he leaves? Yeah. Anything for the donkey? No, I think you summed it up perfectly. Yeah, it was great. I got it immediately. Hallelujah. Absolutely. Thanks, Dominic. Love you, buddy. God bless you. Name it. Name it. All right, we'll get into it later. We'll start another show. Prosperity gospel from Dominic the donkey. Immortal. There he is. Take his word for it. He carried Jesus. Anyway. He's crazy. They help Izzy with things like a makeover, her finances, her social media account, and it is all working.

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_03] Izzy even lands a job at an art gallery being a receptionist. Megan and Dominic, they start hanging out more and they realize that they enjoy each other's company. When Megan realizes that she needs a crescent rich in order to fix a shower head, obviously she takes Dominic and he comes running over. They end up watching a basketball game together and one thing leads to another, they hang out some more and eventually all of that leads to a kiss. Wow. They did it.

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_03] Everything is going great until Izzy begins to get a little restless. She starts missing how she used to go to Coachella with her friends and stuff. So Izzy decides she's going to throw a party at her new apartment, which Megan is currently paying for, by the way, and she quits her job. Megan goes off on her and storms out. This complicates things because Megan has been using this whole life coach by committee

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_03] idea to pitch to hotshot investors, hoping that would be her next big business. She does find an investor and a press release goes out before she can tell Izzy that she's been using her to get money from an investor. When they all find out Izzy is very hurt and everyone is disgusted with Megan. How could you? Oh God, Megan. So much money. Everyone's mad, including Dominic.

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_03] Game over, bucko. Oh, I'm not going to fall for it this time, Dominic. Izzy decides not to take the deal with the investor and instead she's going to take the money that she would have gotten from the investor and spend money on a big birthday blowout for Megan at a roller skating rink. They, the two of them make up and then she ends up dancing with Dominic on the dance floor where they kiss again.

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_03] And now my friends, why is Sisterhood Inc.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_01] We did it. Incorporated.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_04] I jumped in at the end. I missed the beginning.

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_03] You want to try Sisterhood Inc. one more time? Yeah, let's do it.

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_02] And now my friends, why is Sisterhood Inc.

[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_03] We'll be right back.

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_04] Are we allowed to talk about the comments on the live thing? We're not allowed. Don't mention it. We'll be right back. I won't mention it then.

[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_03] Welcome back, everybody. We're talking about Sisterhood Inc., the latest Hallmark channel.

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_01] Now, Brandon, I know you said we weren't allowed to talk about the comments because we were going to break and that's why, but the Double Decker Chat, you can watch these live. So people are commenting. They see regret all over Chase's face. Is that true? Yeah. And they pity him for having that as an introduction. Well, one person said, I'm still not clear who Chase is. It's like, how much more clear could we get? We did a lot of work. We did a lot of work. I asked you questions about you and Survivor. I mean, everyone should know he's around 25 years old and he loves Survivor. What do you want to know?

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_03] Has he ever had a big loss in his life? Like what more do you think? Last week actually. That's right. Yeah. Thanks, Brandon. Thanks, Brandon. We're not going to get into the loss that both Chase and I have had over the past couple of weeks. So we're just going to bring the mood down. Let's break Sisterhood Inc. down. We're going to start with a hot take is where we share exactly how we felt about this movie. We don't hold back. Brian, I have to start with you legally.

[00:13:13] [SPEAKER_00] So what do you think of Sisterhood Inc.? Sure do. Ironclad. You know what? I really liked it. Where am I looking? There we go. I really liked it. He doesn't know his camera is on. Usually we go camera two. It is camera two. You know what I mean. Go to two. You guys know what I mean. We're going to, let's fix that in place. Nope, go to two, Aaron. Where's two? That two. Now or nope. You go. This is great. So I'm going to look at every camera at once. That's right. I'm going to do this with my thumb. That's right.

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_00] I really liked it. I like Bob Dole. Let me be clear. The music was popping in this movie. The music was popping. It was popping. The funny, very funny script. Great ensemble, if I may. I enjoyed almost everything in this except the app part.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_01] Except the gist of the movie.

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_00] Get a new conflict. Like this is so tired and old. It was so obvious. I wish they didn't do that real bad. That was one knock. It was more fall than winter for me. And it kind of made me think like, imagine if this way went hard on the fall and we got this in the fall. Are you kidding me right now?

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_01] It seemed like a spring movie to me. I'm not doing it yet. Like it did. Really? Yeah. It seemed like we were very close to emerging in the spring in this movie. Like in the merge? Like making the emerge in the spring. Really well done. You guys are superheroes.

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_04] By the way, we are on Philo TV. Yeah! Good job!

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_01] It's a really good job, dude. Nice work. Yeah.

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_03] I gave Chase a list of things he has to work at throughout the episode. That was pretty smooth. That was just seamless too. Bramble Jam Plus, available everywhere.

[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_01] There you go. There you go.

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_04] You're crushing it, man. He's good.

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_00] And the only last thing I'll say is the ratio of roller skate talk to actual roller skating was disappointing. Stop it. And I would, I don't know if this has been said before, but I would trust RLC with Brand's life. I think we would trust her more than anybody. Yeah. That's right.

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_04] Is RLC Rachel Lee Cook? I hopped on.

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_03] I'm good at one point. I said that I trust Rachel Lee Cook with my life. More than anybody. More than anybody. I trust Rachel Lee Cook with my life. That's something that I said on the record. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Of course. Chase, this is your first full Hallmark movie. Yeah. So I'm curious what you thought about Sisterhood Egg. Just like summing it up? Summing it up?

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah, sum it up. Oh, gosh. They should fill these things with more old Disney and Nickelodeon stars. They should. Because I feel like the acting was pretty like, they knew exactly the type of movie they were making.

[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_01] Do you mean, was it Danielle Panabaker? You mean Danielle Monáe.

[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_04] Oh, who's Danielle Panabaker?

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_03] She's also from that world. She's a DCOM person, but not from this movie. My bad. But Danielle Monáe from Victorious. Victorious. Of course. That's my era. That's right.

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_04] I grew up watching Victorious. That's right. You guys had kids probably. Okay. We don't need anyone to say that. Probably.

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_01] Keep going whenever you're ready, buddy. I really love that. The Algamar Rhythms missed that one.

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_04] Chase, talk about Phylo real quick, please, man. Let's get back on track. Yeah. You can see all this live. I love that Bobby from The Sopranos plays the pizza guy.

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_01] He's a stripper. Great. Shout out Bobby Bacala, everybody.

[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_04] He was really phenomenal as well. Yeah. Good to see him. Oh, I loved so much about this. My favorite part of the whole movie. I'll just say this part and then we can move on from me. My favorite part of the whole movie is we got the same scene that Willem Dafoe does in the Spider-Man movie when he gets fired from Oscorp. He's like, I started this company. Yeah. It's good. You can't do this to me. And that's exactly what happened to RLC. That's right. I got the lingo down. Yeah. Did you like it?

[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_01] I don't like to speak poorly about movies. Would you? I literally despise the movies for a living. Would you watch it? Would you watch another Hallmark movie after this experience? Yeah. If you invite me back on. Okay. Not just for the fun. Probably not for leisure. You get a summer off. We don't have anything to do. Are you watching a whole new reality show?

[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_04] Are you watching one more Hallmark movie? I'm busy watching Pretty Little Liars. Yeah. Yeah, of course. The good stuff.

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. I've said I trust Rachel LeCook more than anybody and I stand by it. What a movie. What a performance. What a good time. Brian, you're right. The script is funny. It made me laugh multiple times. And I thought that the combo of RLC with Danielle Monet and Panabaker was great. I'm sure Panabaker loved it though. Those two were fantastic together.

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_03] Not to mention, Dominic, I don't know who you are and I don't know where you came from and I don't know why you're in this movie. You have an Australian accent and it just was like, you know, I didn't really feel like we had any answers on that. But dadgummit, that guy. Big fan. Let's bring him back for some more. Overall, really big fan of this movie. I didn't know what I was getting myself into all the way with Sisterhood Inc. But I'm glad we did it. Dan?

[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah, calling this movie the best of the year is not a compliment because the rest of the movies this year have not been nearly as good as this one. I would say this movie is great aside from the plot. Like this movie, I'm serious. The acting in this movie, the script of this movie, I laughed out loud several times, which doesn't happen in these movies. It's funny. You got Steve Schrippa, which has already been shouted out once, but needs to be shouted out again. I've not seen him in a Hallmark movie. I want Steve Schrippa to be in all of these movies. Yeah.

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_01] Rachel Lee Cook is great. Danielle Monet is great. They're all great. I buy them all. I don't buy the purpose of this app for people that can actually afford it. I don't buy the crisis and I don't buy the necessity of a love story in this movie. But the movie flew by. It was super breezy, super light, super funny. So all in all, easily the best of these this year. Not for me. Wouldn't watch it again. But better than what we've seen so far in January and February.

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_01] No, did not. Oh, it's a big deal if I like a movie around.

[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_03] Did you? Did you kind of like this? It's the best of the year. Dan thinks it's the best of the year. We're still working on it. Thanks, Sheila, for this. I don't know. All of them. It's for that one. We're looking for that one. Sheila, thanks for this, by the way. This is really good radio here. It's time for all the feels before we talk about what in this movie gave us feels of any kinds. Hopefully good ones. Brian?

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah, two good ones real quick. Okay. Ken, her dad, father-in-law, I guess, or stepdad. Oh, yeah. Stepdad. Yeah.

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_01] K-pop, as she calls him. That was a good one.

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_00] Another nickname she had for him. She said, Ken Pyre strikes back. Ken Pyre strikes back. What a phenomenal, what a great bit to put in a movie. The nickname thing is so fun. The last thing was, there was a really great Midwestern joke in this movie that I shouldn't have gotten, but I did because I was just at a hockey tournament with a bunch of Midwestern people. Oh, dear. Oh, boy. He says, all the recipes I know start with a can of soup or tater tots.

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah.

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_00] And I just thought that was a really good Midwestern joke. So that probably hit for a lot of people out there. And me.

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_01] So did your feels segment, Brian. Thanks, man. Your feels segment hit for a lot of people, too.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_00] Thanks, man. If I took them all, I'm sorry.

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah, no, that's tough. I had can of soup tater tots written down. Yeah, you were right.

[00:20:33] [SPEAKER_03] I just want to give a quick shout out. Skip and Chase, huh? Oh, yeah, you're right. No, no, no. He's just our guest. I know.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_04] Dude, you invited me here just to bully me. I could have done this on our show.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_03] No, I only bullied Jonathan on that show. Chase. Yeah.

[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_04] Any feels for you? I had several feels. There was a Hocus Pocus 2 reference. Yeah. That made me feel nice. Yeah. I really loved that the mom has two friends that she FaceTimes from her baking subreddit.

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah, that's right.

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_04] I thought that was very awesome.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_03] They call it a three-way FaceTime.

[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_04] And then I had a feeling of outrage at one point. Is that this section? You can. She did. She apparently hasn't checked her mail in enough time for Sarah to get engaged, married, and divorced. It's like you just haven't checked your mail. I kind of felt that.

[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, you got to check your mail, guys. So yeah, that was my feels. I felt, to your point, Brian, the music full of bops in this movie. Too many to Shazam. You might as well just keep Shazam in all movies. Just keep it playing. Good luck.

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_04] There was that one song at the skating rink that was like, lean to the front. Yeah. Lean to the back.

[00:21:39] [SPEAKER_03] Circle your hips. It's always... Circle your hips. Circle your hips. You know. You know. Triangle your hips. Yeah. Maybe when you're... Oblong your hips. Oblong your hips. Don't oblong your hips. Do the best you can with what you have.

[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_01] You can go to the hospital if you elbow your hips.

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. The music was great. Wardrobe also really fun in this movie. And I want to give a quick shout out to RLC for rocking a leather top with a, as Dan called it... Amelia Earhart. The home alone. The jacket that Kevin's dad wears in Home Alone. You know what I'm talking about?

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_01] It's Amelia Earhart and Kevin's dad's jacket.

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_03] It's that with a leather top. It was so bold that I just said, will you look at that? Would you look at that? Would you look at that? Would you look at that? Would you look at that? Would you look at that? Would you look at that? I can't imagine doing that myself, but Rachel Leigh Cook, she's bolder than I am.

[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_02] That's brand on women's fashion. That's exactly right. Hey, Rachel Leigh Cook, what are you wearing?

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_03] No, I thought that there were some really fun wardrobe choices in this movie.

[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_01] Dan? Yeah, this is going to rub people's wrong way, but there's a hilarious dead parent joke in this movie. I mean, really, really funny. What was it? Rachel Leigh Cook is talking to her assistant and he's like, I didn't know you had a mom. And she's like, well, I had a dad, but he died when I was 13. And the assistant goes, thank God. And then she looks at him and he goes, no, no, no, not about that. It's just that there was somebody else. And every Hallmark movie has a dead parent. And having a dead parent is not funny, but making fun of the fact that all of these movies

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_01] have a dead parent is funny. And so while that may not have hit for everybody, it really hit for me. I thought it was really, really funny. And I was shocked by it. And that kind of kept me off guard.

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_03] You also do a weird thing where you laugh every time you hear somebody lost their parent. And I, that is not. I was off the record.

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_04] What's worse is he does it at the funeral.

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_02] Yeah, it's really, it's really inappropriate. It's happened to me. I met you today. And I, your reputation precedes you. If it's an open casket, forget about it.

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_01] And we have a clip. No, we don't have a clip. We don't have a clip.

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_04] Show me Michael Jackson's funeral.

[00:23:43] Wait the fuck.

[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_04] Aaron, if you could hop on that. Yeah.

[00:23:46] [SPEAKER_03] We're going to take a break. We're going to come back. We're going to get to the way what, and we'll have the clip from Michael Jackson's funeral.

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_06] Hallmark.

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_00] This just is illegal. We can't. We've been told we can't.

[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_01] We couldn't. We were told to beat it. It was live on ABC. We did black and white. We did it.

[00:24:09] [SPEAKER_03] If you do get to watch that clip, it is a thriller. I'll say that. It is.

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_04] It's time for the wait what. I thought it was bad. Nice. Okay. There's a lot of diversity at that funeral. It doesn't matter if you're black or white. That's right.

[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_01] Hey. I'm pretty sure Billie Jean was there, if I'm not mistaken. Really?

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_03] I'll just say this. Not my lover.

[00:24:27] Interesting.

[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_03] It's time for the wait what. Word is going around. Yeah. It's where we talk about what in this movie. We just go wait what Brian.

[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_00] What wait what? Yeah. Just a few. I felt a bit targeted. It looks like Megan went to the school.

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_01] Cut that Lee if you could. Just I felt a bit targeted. Just a bit targeted.

[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_00] It looks like Megan went to the Daniel S. Thompson School of Parking because every place she showed up.

[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_01] Front. Always a parking spot baby.

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_00] Right in front of the building. Right by the entrance. Listen. Do you want to share where you're parked today?

[00:24:57] [SPEAKER_01] I'm not parked there because you and I took a trip. I had the parking spot by the building and came back. Guys you. Brian says that I always find a parking spot by the front door and he's right. Yeah. I'm here to tell you make your own luck. Like you just you have to decide you're getting a parking spot up there first.

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_00] That's all you have to do.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_01] And then the universe makes it happen. I can't promise it's gonna work for everybody but it does work for me.

[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_00] The universe is pranking me hard.

[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_01] Now he. She is in Chicago. Yeah. But you know it's not the universe. You don't believe you're getting a good. No I know. You have recused yourself to the back of the lot. That's what you've done.

[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_00] And mostly I don't even I just try to find a far the spot. That's right. I just tell people I like the walk. I like the walk.

[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_03] Like you could do what she did in this movie where she takes a spot. You just don't. So like you could. It's because he's a good person. That's right. I'm a better person. That was definitely his spot.

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_04] He's a way better person than RLC. Yeah. Everybody knows that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_00] As far as I throw him. So that just you know that always gets me the park. It's my nemesis. You can't just show us a roller rink and not roller skate. Like why didn't they roller skate? They roller skate a little bit. Just something. They barely roller skated. Buddy. Hardly at all. It's not a big part of the movie.

[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_04] I thought we were going to get a show. Well to your credit though. Like they kind of make a big deal when they find her roller skate and they're like oh vintage you can keep these. And in my head I was like oh they're setting up for a big roller skate. Multiple roller skating.

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_01] They do have the ultimate grand finale of this movie at a roller skating rink guys.

[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_00] But not on the rink. Yeah. Not even out there. Okay. Just on the glass if you will. On the purview. On the glass.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_01] On the purview.

[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_04] I don't know if this is too off the theme of the show but I think I could add some insight to why they probably didn't. I've done I was in a film that it was a horror film but I was wearing roller skates the whole time. Right. And I don't know if you spent two 12 hour shoot days on roller skates. Tough. I can understand that part. It's tough.

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_03] I wonder if that was a thing. Tough skating out there yeah. Yeah maybe they started and they were like we don't want to do this anymore.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_00] Probably. So that would take us to the purview. Yeah take it to the purview. The last one was if how handy you are is based on how many allen wrenches you have. Yeah. For sure. Call me Tim the Twin Taylor because I have 3000 allen wrenches. I'm sorry. That is not our arm.

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_01] What's that? What the are you Scooby Doo? Like bro.

[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_00] Oh he does a rrrr. Try it one more time.

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_01] Rally wrenches.

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_00] Oh he does the rrrr. I was thinking like a walrus sound. No that's not walrus sound. My buddy from college does the walrus sound. Mixed up across the wires. Okay mixed up home improvement with your buddy from college. Yeah with Dubois yeah. Okay shout out Dubois. Dubois. So you can't say.

[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_01] You know he's listening.

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_00] Dude he's going to have nothing else to do.

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_01] I was at his parents funeral. It was a riot.

[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_00] That's why he won't talk to me. That's what it is.

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_01] Why'd you invite me to this funeral? I don't even know Dubois. Oh dude.

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_00] So just an Allen wrench is a weird thing judge.

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_03] They had a joint funeral?

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_01] Two of them. Dang. Dubois does everything jointly. Yeah that's crazy. Rolling those Dubois.

[00:27:54] [SPEAKER_00] That was it.

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_01] All right great.

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_04] Chase anyway what's for you anything in this movie make you go wait what? Um there was a few moments. The initial premise of like I thought the movie was going to be all about RLC and her journey. But then very quickly it became about her helping her sister. Daniel Pannebaker. And I was like it's kind of like your life's the one that's a mess right now. That's right. It's a mess as well. It's math. It's math. It's lots of stuff.

[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_01] I will say it's the least amount of time spent on probably a Hallmark leading lady in I don't know most of these movies if not all of them. That's not the norm.

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_04] Another wait what for me is I went into the movie blind. I didn't look up anything. I didn't know RLC was a big Hallmark actress. It gave you sight. Yes. I knew her one of my favorite. I don't think so. Amazing. One of my favorite shows is the show Psych. Yeah. And she had a reoccurring role as Sean Spencer's girlfriend. And so I was like oh she's here. Yeah. That's awesome. And then the girl from Victorious who I thought was Daniel Pannebaker. Not Daniel Pannebaker. You clearly big fan. Yeah. Huge. Big Pannebaker. Very excited to see them.

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_04] And then I was very excited to see Bobby from Soprano. So those were my big wait what moments.

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_03] Wait what's just the people in it. It's the people. I have a few. One the movie starts with. With Izzy. She goes and she grabs the pizzas and she comes back to her car and she sees that she has a ticket. And she does this thing where she like looks around and throws it in the trash. And like who's going to tell her that you still have to pay it. Yeah. Out of sight out of mind. Going like no one knows. No one sees it. I don't have to pay it. That's not really how it goes.

[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_03] But then finding out the way that she does her you know finances maybe that tracks maybe she didn't even know about taxes. So it is possible that she didn't know that tickets were a thing. Another funny thing about that is she was at that front door for maybe two seconds.

[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_04] How did a cop get there get a ticket and get out quick fast.

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_01] That was mine. It's like bro you are just a ninja. You're just waiting behind the telephone pole to write a ticket. That's crazy.

[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_00] Love that person. She's like the easiest ticket in town. You know she's parking somewhere. Everybody says about it.

[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_01] Everybody calls it the easiest ticket in town. According to Brian. That was another Dubes thing. Yeah. Rest in peace obviously.

[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_00] Wait did Dubes die? I think Dubes is still alive. That's fair.

[00:30:09] [SPEAKER_03] I just thought it was. We'll get to the bottom of that later.

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_00] A part of him died. Yeah. Years ago. Amen brother.

[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_03] Two parts. You mentioned Hocus Pocus 2 Chase and as happy as I am to hear a mention of Hocus Pocus 2 it is a really random first movie to state when you're talking about Bette Midler. Like you could have started with. Yes. I don't know. Hocus Pocus 1. But he went straight to you know her Hocus Pocus 2 the rest. It was a very interesting choice for them to start with the second in a movie franchise.

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_03] My last one is you know the purview of the roller skating rink if you will. I will. Especially the dance floor that they have for some reason installed into this. This not ice skating rink roller rink. It is a small little square.

[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_01] It's like six by six.

[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_03] And this is like this is where you can dance here nowhere else. But like the floor of the roller rink is a really fun floor. Yes. Why not just make the whole floor dance floor instead of causing it's like you can only dance in this small land if you want to.

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_01] Roller skating rink is notorious for rules and boundaries. That's exactly right. That's exactly right. Notorious for being very. Hey you over there.

[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_06] Get out of here.

[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_04] Hey guys I don't know if this is TMI. I had my first kiss at a roller rink. Wow. How about that? That is TMI. Unfortunately we have to cut that out. It was in Malden baby. Yeah. Malden Middle. Shout out Katie wherever you are. Katie shout out. Rest in peace Katie. She's probably still in.

[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_01] If you knew where I went to school she could be. She could be. It was a tough. Malden Middle was that tough a neighborhood.

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_04] It was a tough school dude. It was people got jumped every morning. In Malden. Not even joking. Did you? Did you get jumped or did you do the jumping? No. No I didn't either man. I didn't participate. I was too busy watching this awesome Sisterhood Inc. movie.

[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_01] That's right.

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_03] In middle school?

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_04] Good dodge.

[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_01] That's the key. Dan? So I know that things happen in fast food restaurants and that I'm not aware of. I worked at McDonald's in high school. Did you really? I did. Believe it or not. True story. I've got stories. I'm not going to tell them now. Malden. What's Daniela Malden? Not Malden. Actually close. It's by Southside Christian right there. Oh yeah. It's very close to Malden.

[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_04] I worked at Walmart.

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah. Shout out. We might have met each other. We might have. We might have.

[00:32:22] [SPEAKER_04] The trashiest places in town. That's right.

[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_01] But what Daniela Monet does to these pizzas is unconscionable. First of all, these pizzas aren't in a warming bag.

[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_00] Dude, I wrote it down and I didn't say it because I feel like I've reached the pizza talk limit for me. Thank you.

[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_01] How early did he deliver pizzas at some point for a job, but he says it's his favorite job he's ever. What pizza place?

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_00] Domino's.

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_01] Domino's. Domino's. Domino's Pizza. Domino's Pizza. The best pizza. That's right. For sure. Thank you. Love that job. So first, there's no warming bag. Those. It's freezing cold outside in Chicago. Those pizzas are going to be cold. And then second of all, she takes a pepperoni off the pizza and then leaves it on the doorstep. I get the heck out. Get the heck out of here. You're going to open that pizza and be like, somebody took a.

[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah.

[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_03] A hundred percent.

[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_01] That's, that's a mess.

[00:33:12] [SPEAKER_03] You are also bothered by the front seat. Yes. Station. Where it's kind of at an angle.

[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_01] And this is me just being weird. I will not sit pizzas on my front seat at an angle.

[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_00] No, you keep a water bottle in your car and you put them on the back. That's right.

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_01] You make them level. Brian and I have never been more in sync than right now. Can you imagine if you two were delivering pizzas together?

[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_04] Dude. We would be the most pristine. Best run. Did you also deliver pizzas? I did not deliver pizzas. So why are you so caught up in this? Because I. Have you ever driven with them? Yeah. Anywhere? I met him just now. You don't know that. And at Michael Jackson's funeral. Absolutely.

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_01] And when we worked at McDonald's and Walmart, we would meet up after drinks. Yeah. Yeah. I was 16. That's right. Not drinks. Diet, diet, diet, diet, diet. We were not meeting up with drinks. Um, so yeah, the pizzas were a huge day. A huge problem. At one point, somebody goes, I've got to go. It's Beverly's tricky taco night. Uh, I'm pretty sure that's what they said. I asked brand. He nodded. We did not rewind it, but Beverly's tricky taco. They're tricky tacos.

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_01] What is a tricky taco? I don't know.

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_04] It's a good question. I don't know. It's when, uh, it's too much ingredients and it's just constantly falling out. It's hard to keep it all on the shelf.

[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_01] Every time you are about to fold the taco up, they throw something new at you. That's exactly right. And someone goes, that's tricky.

[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_04] The, the, the, the whole thing. I don't know. That guy has this one job. It's just one job. He yells out it's tricky. It's just the run DMC song. Yeah.

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_01] It's tricky. Yeah. The egregious use of background actors for actual important parts in this movie is absurd. Yeah. In the boardroom, none of them can talk. They all are about to fire this woman and they're all mute. They can't say a word. There's nothing they can do. Daniella Monet meets all of her best friends at a roller skating rink. They can't talk. They can't even, they can't make any audible sound or they get paid. And they are not background actors. They're a part of this movie and they're used background actors and it's crazy.

[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_03] The roller rink one was egregious cause they 80 yard over top. That's right. With someone else's voice. So it was like somebody who obviously could say a line, but that was tough.

[00:35:12] [SPEAKER_01] And then, uh, two, two last ones. One is I can't believe he cracked the code on chicken. It's paprika gang. I don't know if you heard he put paprika and lemon zest on chicken and now it tastes good. No one's ever, what a secret ingredient that we've heard 800 times here on this program. But paprika, God almighty. I can't believe we did it. Paprika. We cracked the case wide open.

[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_03] And then lastly, you also want to let it marinate in your front seat at about a 45 degree. You want all that salmonella.

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_01] Uh, and then lastly, uh, Rachel Lee cook is meeting with the dude who wants to invest in her app. And there is a couch. He's sitting on by himself with two cushions. He sits on the crack of those two cushions and he's a sociopath. He's murdered numerous people. You have a whole couch. You do not sit on the crack in the cushions. You don't, you don't do it.

[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_04] He's a Silicon Valley guy. We knew he had problems.

[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_01] I just, I just, I just, move a foot one way or the other and you're good to go. I couldn't believe it.

[00:36:05] [SPEAKER_03] The words of Mark Cuban for that reason. I'm out. I can't trust that at all. Uh, it's time for what the hallmark is where we wonder what could have been. Maybe have it gets a clear any question we still have. What are we still wondering about? That's what we're going to talk about here. Brian.

[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. What are you wondering about? Uh, where they held their board meetings. There were all these posters on the wall. And one of them said, be like a bird and not like a feather. And I just didn't get it. I just don't get it.

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_01] A feather just floats in the breeze and a bird flies. So a bird, it's like be a thermostat, not a thermometer.

[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_03] I can't do that. Wait, what was the poster?

[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_01] Be like a bird, not like a feather.

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. So you want to be like a feather, have no direction.

[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_01] You just want somebody to tell you what to do and not have to worry about it.

[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_00] Sometimes. All right. I just, I didn't, it didn't feel like an inspirational poster. I mean, I'm like, I don't really get that as a, uh, as a saying. So, all right. So that's, so it's just taken. Yeah. Thank you.

[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_04] Believe you me. Uh, Chase, what are you still wondering about? Um, I want to know, did we ever find out if she has any outstanding warrants from the IRS? Great question. She's never done taxes. Never done taxes. This is shouldn't be wrong. Would you like into my, my fan theory? Sure. I love this. Uh, K-pop has been doing them and just not telling them. I like that. That's pretty good.

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_01] That's really good. Yeah.

[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_03] That, that, that tracks.

[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_01] What person that is like her keeps receipts?

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_00] Exactly. Yeah.

[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_01] For her to have never done taxes, but to keep her receipts every year categorized by type of receipts, that person doesn't exist.

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Cause that person does their taxes. The only thing I can figure is that's like the one thing she heard at one point, was you got to keep your receipts. Cause early on when I was, uh, started adulting, I started keeping my receipts and I was like, I don't know why I'm doing this. I just heard that this is what you do. This is what you do. And then eventually I just stopped. So if that, like she heard it sometimes, she was like, I'm going to need these at some point that I could maybe see it. But the fact that they were separated is, uh, is something. Um, I, here's my question.

[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_03] Where does Hallmark get the, the generic sports footage that they use with the teams that aren't real teams and they're just in the things. Where do they get that? Is there B roll out there of fake sport teams that you can use in movies because, uh,

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_01] they've at least started to change the colors up. It used to always be red versus blue. This was yellow versus white Miami versus Chicago.

[00:38:19] [SPEAKER_03] Chicago is a really big, is a really big one. Um, but yeah, I, I, I, that's such an interesting thing to have. I think it's just stock footage. I literally only see it in Hallmark though. And so I don't know. Hallmark's not going out there and buying it. So I'm sure that it's, it's stock finished from somewhere, but it's very fascinating. And they, they, Hallmark is big on it. Maybe just don't do sports, but they're big on it.

[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_01] Dano. Um, I want to know the Venn diagram of the number of people that need this app where they have an entire board to control their entire life and can't afford it. So like, I don't, I want to know who this is for. I think people that have millions of dollars probably already have this in some form or another. They have somebody that does their books. They probably have somebody that is a personal assistant. They already had this. Yeah. Whereas the people that need this don't have the money for it.

[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_01] I just, I never for a second thought this was a good idea that would sell big time because I feel like the people that need this either have the money and have it or don't have the money and therefore can't use it. Like what would be the cost of something like this?

[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_04] Here's my pitch. I love it. It's the most profitable business model. It's a nonprofit.

[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_01] It's a nonprofit. It's all tax write-offs. It's a tax write-offs. It's a 501 C three of helping people just live. It's like church. It's like church above board. You guys ever worked at a church? Oh yeah.

[00:39:38] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, me too.

[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_04] Yeah.

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_03] It's unfortunate. Um, you just gotta keep those receipts. That's all. You gotta keep those receipts. You can't get in trouble for that. Um, we did everybody. Yeah, we did. Congratulations to us. Now Chase, something you don't know is that every Tuesday, uh, Brian does a deep dive into the life of one of the double deckers. The people who have signed up for Bramble Jam Plus as you can watch it on Philo TV.

[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_01] Great job. Yeah, that's right. Philo.tv slash DTH. Who do we have today? We've got Amy Heidecker. Ooh. Amy Heidecker.

[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_00] Amy. What's Amy out? What's up to Brian? Amy, uh, so Amy's bringing people together is what Amy's doing. Okay. She recently formed a sort of like a group for people who kind of want to just like relax and chill together.

[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_06] Okay.

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_00] And just have like a, a chill time. Okay. So she formed this group where- Is it a cult? It's not, no, no. It's not a cult. I'll join Amy. All right, he's in. Chase him. So it's sort of just like you get together, relax, vibes, and chill. Okay. So it's- Relax, vibes, and chill. Relax, vibes, and chill. And so it's called obviously, uh, Calm Cool Collective. Yeah. Ooh. So we all kind of get together as a group. So, but what is it?

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_01] It does sound like a cult, Brian.

[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_03] This sounds like the center from- The Calm Cool Collective. From Bull Meets World. You remember that? The Calm Cool Collective?

[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_00] The what? The center? Yeah, I do remember that. I mean, it's a little bit like that, I guess you would say. The only, I guess- So it is a play, it's like a club? Yeah. Like they find different places to meet that are- Oh, there's very, you don't have one central place. There's not like a, well, that's pretty expensive to rent a place.

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_04] Well, there's an abandoned group meetup thing downtown. They could start doing that. That's true.

[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_00] Amy, note that down, because that's a good idea.

[00:41:23] [SPEAKER_01] To meet up downtown.

[00:41:24] [SPEAKER_00] But there is some confusion across the group members. Some of them look to, they want to like be around people who are like relaxed like them, and other want to be cold. And so it's a bit of contention.

[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_02] What was the last part of that again? How many people-

[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_00] Some people show up looking to just cool down. Cool down. Like they just want to roll. So like people that have a rough set. So it's a little confusion here. But it's not that. No. Well, it's not a cult. It's, that's the thing. It's like sort of like taken over two fractions now. There's the cool people. Even two factions. No. No. It's 50-50, the fraction. That's right. Okay.

[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_04] Is this like a West Side Story situation? The Jets and the Sharks. Now they're dancing and fighting.

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_00] This is what we're all afraid of happening. So yeah. This is what happens in a cool club collective. Amy, you got to rule your club with an iron fist. That's right. Come on, Amy. That's good advice. That's what she's looking for.

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_03] So they, hold on. Sorry. Yeah. About the people that like it cold. Yes. Like how do you, so they find places and then they just bump down the AC?

[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_00] They keep cranking AC down. They pick places like.

[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_03] But the people that just want a place to be calm. Yeah. I would imagine they keep going and turning it up.

[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_00] Yeah. Well, they start off just with the blankets. They're quiet about it. They're cool. Chill about it. But they start putting up the heat and then now we're gonna have some problems. Is this a real segment?

[00:42:43] Yeah.

[00:42:44] [SPEAKER_01] Yeah. Yeah. No. No. I mean, yeah. Well, we did it thanks, Amy. But no.

[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_03] I think that's an interesting idea. I think you got a future here. Come on collected. Let us know how we can help. It could be an app. It could be an app. Yeah. Let's get some investors. RLC would be interested. Yes. Yes. Maybe we should let Chase do this one moving forward. Yeah. That's fine. Maybe. We'll be back next time with another one. So come on back. Join Chase and I on making the merge starting this week. It's gonna be a lot of fun. Maybe. Until then, maybe the first to wish you a Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas.
