[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_03]: And the Chancellor is like, listen

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_03]: who can really say

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_03]: what happened? It's an

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_03]: absolute mystery. You did what you had to do

[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Now you'd think that that'd be enough

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_03]: excitement for one day but no!

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Grievous captures them

[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_03]: and it's up to R2-D2 to pull off

[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_03]: a miracle escape

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_03]: with lots of bee beeps

[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_03]: and lots of boo boops

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Anakin leads them to safety

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_03]: back

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_03]: and just like that

[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_03]: we're all happy

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_03]: everything's good

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_03]: and that's the end of the movie. It's not though!

[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_03]: with Padme is in full force

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_03]: She reveals that she is a preggers

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_03]: and this makes Anakin very happy

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_03]: but also he freaks out because he keeps

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_03]: having nightmares about her dying

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_03]: This guy has crazy dreams

[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_03]: He chats with Yoda

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_03]: who's basically like

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_03]: stop being so clingy, it's a bad look

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Anakin's not having it though

[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Anakin's like, I don't think Yoda has my best

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_03]: interest at heart. Meanwhile

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Palpatine's sweet talking

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Anakin into thinking that the Jedi Council

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_03]: needs him more

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_03]: than he needs them. They're definitely

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_03]: gonna make you master

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_03]: it's a sure thing. Spoiler alert

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_03]: it's not! They don't

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_03]: They say you're in

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_03]: but you're not in

[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_03]: You're fringing

[00:10:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Anakin not thrilled by this

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_03]: It goes from bad to worse very quickly

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_03]: It's very awkward, he's like I don't think this is the best

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_03]: idea. Things get more

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_03]: tense when Anakin finds out that

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Padme, from Padme that the

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Republic's getting a little too corrupt

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_03]: for her taste. He's like

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_03]: as if you separatist

[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a good conversation

[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Palpatine invites Anakin to

[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_03]: a bubble show, hence the PG-13

[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_03]: rating, for a

[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_03]: private chat and gets

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_03]: right to sowing that seed of

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_03]: doubt about the Jedi Council

[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_03]: and tells him a little old story

[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_03]: that he's like, you're gonna want

[00:11:35] [SPEAKER_03]: to hear this. Once upon a time there was

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_03]: somebody that was a Sith Lord

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_03]: who could stop people from dying

[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Let me ask you this Anakin

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Is there anybody in your life that you'd like to

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_03]: not die? And he's like son of a gun

[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_03]: This is crazy

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Well I never! Like I'm, this might be

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_03]: something that could be useful to me. The Jedi Council

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_03]: sends Obi-Wan to deal with

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Grievous while Anakin is left

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_03]: feeling like the kid who did not get

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_03]: picked at the dodgeball game. I'm not

[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_03]: he has found a way to

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_03]: save him from his dreams becoming reality

[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_03]: that Palpatine is a

[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Sith Lord. But instead of taking him

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_03]: I know. But instead of taking

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_03]: him down

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_03]: But instead of taking him down he's like hey

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_03]: this could be useful

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_03]: for me saving

[00:12:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Padme. He does

[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_03]: tell Mace Windu though about

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_03]: what he has learned. Mace Windu

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_03]: goes into full Sith mode

[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_03]: His face looking real gross

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_03]: and gets into a lightsaber battle with

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Mace Windu. And just as he

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_03]: has it all under control, Anakin

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_03]: shows up to

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_03]: help Palpatine

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_03]: He helps Palpatine. Anakin cuts off

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Windu's hand and then

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Palpatine uses magic fingers

[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_03]: to launch him out the window

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not what it sounds like

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Anakin feels bad for about

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_03]: 5 seconds and then he immediately pledges

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_03]: himself to the dark side by saying

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_03]: I pledge myself to the dark side

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_01]: To the Republic

[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_01]: for which it stands. He

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_03]: does this in exchange for

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_03]: being able to help

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Padme's life not end

[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Palpatine names him

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Darth Vader and is immediately sent

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_03]: on his first mission. Kill children

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Nothing like being thrown into the deep end

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Order 66 is issued

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_03]: which causes all the clones to turn

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_03]: on the Jedi's. Luckily, Obi-Wan

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_03]: now all about that Chancellor

[00:14:37] [SPEAKER_03]: About that Chancellor, no Jedi

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_03]: He tells her that

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_03]: he's been given an important mission and

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_03]: heads off to finish the Separatist leaders

[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_03]: to choke her out and throws her on the ground

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_03]: old Senate Chamber Brawl

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Which I believe they're gonna have one of those at the next

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_03]: WWE pay-per-view. The Senate

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Chamber Brawl. Let me tell you something brother, at the next

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Senate Chamber Brawl

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Yoda realizes that

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_03]: he is not going to win this

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_03]: him Luke and Leia and then she dies

[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_03]: She's dead. Doses. Anakin

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_03]: gets saved by Palpatine after being burned

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_03]: to a crisp and he's still fighting

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_03]: for his life. He's still breathing somehow

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_00]: all the more impactful because you're supposed to

[00:21:08] [SPEAKER_00]: This feels more in line

[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_00]: tone wise with a lot of the

[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Disney Plus stuff that has come out Star Wars wise

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Palpatine slowly swaying

[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Anakin to the dark side, I like that

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Pacing's good, Sam L finally gets his chance

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_00]: they built up for the first two films in terms of

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_00]: a strong independent female character

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_00]: for her, I don't think that hits the mark here

[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_03]: old Ben over young Ben.

[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_03]: kind of came together though for me

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_03]: walkway there

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_03]: they have their conversation

[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_03]: together. I thought

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_03]: and it feels real and

[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_03]: up until this point

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_03]: really felt real to me. I was like I understand

[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_03]: that Obi-Wan Kenobi is important

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_03]: and blah blah blah but it never quite

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_03]: felt real. In this

[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_03]: particular moment it's still

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_03]: real to me dang it.

[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_03]: It was a great moment, a great scene

[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_03]: and the most powerful of

[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_03]: the conversations with Obi-Wan

[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_03]: especially in the prequels by a mile.

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_01]: If you read the dialogue off the page

[00:31:33] [SPEAKER_01]: of that scene it's atrocious.

[00:51:33] [SPEAKER_00]: in Padme's future I don't know maybe I started that rumor
