[00:00:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Hi, I'm Brandon. I love the Chicken Sisters.

[00:00:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Hi, I'm Jax and I like the Chicken Sisters.

[00:00:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, I'm Dan and I despise the Chicken Sisters and this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast.

[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Deck The Hallmark, it's his podcast.

[00:00:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Brandon and friends host his podcast.

[00:00:24] [SPEAKER_03]: We hope you like this jolly podcast.

[00:00:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Hello!

[00:00:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh boy!

[00:00:35] [SPEAKER_02]: How is everyone today?

[00:00:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh man, so good.

[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the Chicken Sisters day.

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Big chicken, big chicken.

[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Get a new chicken of the week.

[00:00:44] [SPEAKER_02]: You get chicken or fried, whatever that means.

[00:00:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Jax, what are you hearing from the people about our reviews of the Chicken Sisters?

[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like you're always in the know about it.

[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm feeling like the only thing that people like better than the show, the Chicken Sisters, is our reviews of the Chicken Sisters.

[00:01:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I've heard that a bunch.

[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_02]: You're hearing from any of the other actors that are doing Lorde's work?

[00:01:07] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I really need to get in there and see what Genevieve thinks because I have good things to say about her this week.

[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_00]: So girl, let's slide into each other's inboxes.

[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Skyler and I have already been doing it so what up Genevieve?

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right, Skyler. Have you been talking more to her?

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Just a couple of DMs back and forth but I'm finally pronouncing her name right thanks to you.

[00:01:30] [SPEAKER_00]: We're already in a good place.

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Megamind tries to pronounce school there at the beginning.

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like I've never seen Hamilton, which is how they pronounce the Skyler sister.

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Have you never seen Hamilton?

[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I actually haven't.

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_01]: What?!

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Why do you even live in New York?

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know what to say, Jax.

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I've seen it in the Heights numerous times.

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I just feel somehow like it's personal.

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know why.

[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_01]: But for someone that loves to go to plays and that lives in Manhattan, you've not seen Hamilton?

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Same thing, I've never seen Book of Mormon. I was like, it'll be there whenever I want to see it. It'll be there.

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_01]: But then you never see it.

[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I gotta be honest, Book of Mormon's also fantastic.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have the adoration that I have for Hamilton for it but as far as an experience goes, Book of Mormon's up there.

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's great.

[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I did win lottery tickets, like $40 tickets to Book of Mormon about eight years ago.

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_00]: And my mom and my sister were both in town at the time and I gave them to them.

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And my mom, it was so funny.

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: She was like, that was one of the best nights of my life.

[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_00]: And she's like, I don't want to make you feel bad but I need to keep talking about how great it was.

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, no, your joy is my joy.

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_02]: You should ask her if you can go with her next time.

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like you have enough connections in New York that if you wanted to go see a play, you could go see a play.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I think I do like to spend my time going to see things that are a little bit edgier or supporting friends.

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know anyone in Book of Mormon.

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not edgy enough.

[00:03:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Book of Mormon's not edgy enough for you, Jess?

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not edgy enough.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean like downtown gritty theater or like bringer shows.

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't like Broadway.

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't like Broadway.

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Jax does not like Broadway.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_00]: That is not true.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: If it's not off-Broadway in Florida somewhere, then are you really even acting?

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Can I tell you my new theory is Jax hasn't seen any of the hits.

[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_01]: She hasn't seen Phantom.

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Have you seen Phantom?

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, don't answer it.

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_01]: She hasn't seen Les Mis.

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_01]: She hasn't seen any of these.

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_01]: And she's just slowly letting us know over the course of like a 10-year friendship that she doesn't actually, as soon as it's popular, she won't go.

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I do want to say two things that are true.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see The Sound of Music at all, the movie, the musical until two years ago when one of my students was in a high school production.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_02]: That's the ideal way to see it is in a high school production.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And I've never read, and this is after 10 plus years of theater school, I've never read or seen Death of a Salesman.

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Seems to be a bedrock of that industry.

[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_01]: My thing is that when it comes to movies and TV shows, I know that you've got some pretty big blind spots.

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_01]: You're very open and honest about that.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_01]: But in the theater, I'm just shocked by this.

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'll tell you about that.

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I actually was thinking of you for something Hamilton related that I can't ask you to do now, weirdly enough.

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_02]: You were going to ask her to do something Hamilton related?

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I'm talking about.

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_01]: You'll thank you if you think a little bit, but we can't say it out loud right now.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Like something on a Thursday?

[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, or yes.

[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll talk about it later.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_00]: If you need me for something, I can be off book and listen 24 hours.

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I know you are planning the all white Hamilton cast, but like...

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Jax wanted to be edgy, so she's going to make the founding fathers white.

[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_00]: No, no.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_00]: She's out?

[00:05:22] No.

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Can't say we didn't try.

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean?

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Can't say that.

[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Shall we talk about the Chicken Sisters episode four?

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's do it.

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_02]: It originally aired on Hallmark Plus on the 26th.

[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Am I saying that right?

[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, 26th.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I never know how hard to go with the TH.

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_02]: The 26th.

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_02]: 26th is all you're going to say.

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_02]: The 26th.

[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_02]: The 26th.

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Or is it like...

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Can you stop?

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Has no one else thought about it?

[00:05:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I think you're going crazy.

[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Title's called Friends in Low Places.

[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I got friends in low places.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Didn't we do a thing together?

[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we should.

[00:06:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Didn't we?

[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I think we did.

[00:06:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I know we did.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_00]: We did.

[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_00]: We 100% did.

[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_00]: It was me and you and Rosner.

[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and Antonio.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And Antonio.

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_01]: What a group that was.

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_00]: We did it some more.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_00]: We had some other people chiming in too, and it was a lot of fun.

[00:06:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a ton of fun.

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's do it again.

[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I was pretty jealous.

[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's do it again next time.

[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I was jealous you guys did that without me.

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Marathon.

[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Leave it all on my room.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_02]: You guys never want to sing with me.

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I always want to sing with you.

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_02]: No, but you and Katelyn have such a perfect duet.

[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_01]: You guys never want to sing with me.

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to sing with you, and then act upset.

[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_01]: You guys never invite me.

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you think I planned the things I went on stage to sing at karaoke?

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I know you did.

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.

[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I've seen your little black book.

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my goodness.

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Am I using that right?

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Little black book?

[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_02]: What a little thought like that.

[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_02]: That episode kicks off with just go work on your old white Hamilton.

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It's fine.

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I am not throwing away my shot.

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_05]: What time is?

[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a funny bit actually.

[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a funny bit.

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_01]: For like mad TV.

[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for mad TV.

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_02]: The episode kicks off showing us all about Nancy.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm willing to wait for it.

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I am.

[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_02]: How she spent time being unsure about her life and how she just kind of stuffs all of her feelings down.

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_02]: She's been taught to stuff all her feelings down.

[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_02]: And how much she loves it.

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Loved it when Amanda finally came around.

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_02]: She finally had somebody that she could be like, felt like a friend to her.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And Nancy loved Amanda and Amanda loved Nancy.

[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_02]: They were both happy.

[00:07:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And all of that brings us to Nancy catching Amanda kissing Sergio.

[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Cut to May and Gus having another.

[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_01]: What's up everybody?

[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, hello there.

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_01]: How's it going?

[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Is that us from the future?

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Future self, what are you doing?

[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Have we gotten better at podcasting and producing yet?

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Answer me future self.

[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I don't even know if they could hear it to be honest with you.

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not quite sure how the routing gets there.

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So Gus and May are having another argument.

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Gus says that she doesn't need May.

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_02]: May comes clean about secretly sending her money all of these years.

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_02]: We then see Sabrina who is shocked to find out that one,

[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_02]: her ex-husband is getting married to a 25 year old.

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And two, that there is something in town called the drop.

[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And it is a very big deal.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_02]: It happens every year at a legging store in town.

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the drop of the new leggings line.

[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_01]: The new leggings, you and I are big.

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_01]: We always go to the drop 100%.

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And it is quote unquote the social event of the season.

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Social.

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Nancy shows up at Franny's to get Amanda.

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And she is like, oh man, she is going to be so mad at me.

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: But Nancy just acts like nothing happens.

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And that is almost worse for Amanda.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Amanda is like, I wish she would just tell me or talk to me about it.

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_02]: For some reason, every woman in town is very excited for the drop.

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And no one is saying it.

[00:09:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And Sabrina is like, I don't understand the whole deal here with the drop.

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why everybody is going nuts about it.

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_02]: But you know who else is also not excited about the drop?

[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Gus. Gus does get dressed up.

[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_02]: But she gets gussied up.

[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_02]: But that's because Gus is going to go have a night out with the boys.

[00:09:32] [SPEAKER_02]: The boys.

[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Best friends.

[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Best friend that I forget their name.

[00:09:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Tough in the tough tones.

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_02]: His husband and Gus.

[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_02]: The four amigos.

[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly right.

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And they are going to go have a night on the town.

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Because Sergio's divorce is now final.

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_02]: So, got to go celebrate that I guess.

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Amanda can't handle not talking about what happened.

[00:09:57] [SPEAKER_02]: So she pulls Nancy aside and Nancy is like, you know what?

[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_02]: You want to know something?

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_02]: When I was engaged to Frank Sr., I began to be not so sure about things.

[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And I found out that Frank Sr. was having a thing with Gus.

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Also getting on Gus' nerves.

[00:10:18] [SPEAKER_02]: In a different way.

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_02]: You want to know what I did?

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I pushed it aside and decided to still get married.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_02]: That was the same thing.

[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_02]: It was from the future.

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I decided I was still going to get married to him.

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And I was committed to those vows even through that.

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And I just pushed all those feelings aside and I suggested you do the exact thing.

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Same thing.

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_02]: And so, she does.

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_02]: She decides that she's going to send Sergio a voice memo.

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And basically just say, I don't want to see you again.

[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_02]: One of those situations.

[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_02]: The drop is happening.

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And it turns out that everybody in town is less excited about the drop of the new pants.

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Hello?

[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Buddy! How are ya?

[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm back baby!

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Have you ever had a drop?

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_01]: We did a dictionary drop one time.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_01]: A dictionary drop?

[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I said words alphabetically until someone guessed the right word.

[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Can you give me an example?

[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Banana. Bandana.

[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_01]: So people just keep guessing whatever you're reading.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Balloon. Balrog.

[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Bottle room.

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a word that I say. You gotta wait for me to say it.

[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_01]: When I say the right word, you say that's it.

[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Bird dog.

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Valley who?

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Bit. Bigle.

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Bickle.

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Bindle.

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Bat. Bandle.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Blander.

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Bland.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Bender.

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_01]: That's it! You got it!

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_01]: See, it's pretty straight forward. Dictionary drop.

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Pretty good actually.

[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_01]: My pants. I'm out of here.

[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a dictionary drop.

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_02]: It's less about the pants and more about the gossip. The buzz.

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_02]: They're very excited.

[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, because the lady who puts on the drop every year. I forgot her name. I didn't write it down.

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't actually anticipate her being important.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_02]: She gets drunk and then she begins to spill all the tea of town

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_02]: because she is known for having every job under the sun.

[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_02]: She works everywhere. She's always around and she knows everything.

[00:12:37] [SPEAKER_02]: She just listens in on all of this stuff.

[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_02]: It gets juicy. It gets juicy then.

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_02]: And so May is there and May begins to get frustrated with the way that they're talking about her family.

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_02]: So she speaks up and she's like, y'all are up to no good.

[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_02]: She comes clean about who she is, what her actual story is, how she worked at Donkey.

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, she worked at Donkey.

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and all that stuff.

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_02]: She begins to make people feel bad.

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_02]: And somehow it comes out, you know, because Amanda went in and she was throwing up

[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_02]: and they're like, oh, Amanda must be pregnant because she wasn't drinking tonight.

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_02]: But that isn't the case because apparently Frank Jr. had a vasectomy.

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_02]: A vasectomy, he didn't tell anybody. It was a secret vasectomy.

[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And didn't tell Amanda.

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_02]: So all these years where Amanda was like, guess we just can't have another kid.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_02]: He had a vasectomy.

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_01]: He didn't want no part of another kid.

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's tough and that all comes out and Amanda walks out and is like, what?

[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_02]: She can't believe that.

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's a bit of a mess.

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_02]: So she goes home and she's like, I don't want any part of this.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Throughout this episode you might be wondering, what is Frank Jr. doing?

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_02]: He's talking to Mr. Chicken.

[00:14:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Mr. Chicken is a big boy in chicken.

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Entrepreneur.

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_02]: He's kind of trying to get into the good graces of Mr. Chicken because that could be his thing.

[00:14:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And so he goes home to tell her all about his day with Mr. Chicken.

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And that is when she is like, hey, I know about your vasectomy.

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I know about your MS.

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, I'm not sorry.

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_02]: What a guy that Frank Jr.

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, you know what?

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I say we just, I want to focus on the future.

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's call the whole thing off.

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I want to focus on the future.

[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why you're trying to bring up the past.

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I want to focus on the future.

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I want to do and I want to do that with you.

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And the episode ends with her knocking on someone's door and asking if she can stay the night.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Who is it?

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Chicken Sisters episode four.

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Season one.

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Low places.

[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_01]: What?

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Season one. You always start with season one and you just decided today you weren't going to do it.

[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Also, it's Kenneth and Patrick are the two.

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_01]: It's Gus, Sergio, Kenneth and Patrick.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_01]: And we did it.

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_01]: We did it.

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And Shauna is our legging lady.

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_01]: The only thing you need to know is I do think it's Abigail.

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I think Lori Loughlin is showing up in this series.

[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_00]: The crossover nobody wanted or asked for, but let's do it.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_01]: No one wanted, asked for, needed or needs to happen, but we're going to do it.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And then Gowan's going to walk in and be like, isn't she doing better than she's ever been?

[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Abigail's from the door.

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, come on in, sweet.

[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And then Gowan walks down in a bathrobe.

[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_01]: What did he say?

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_00]: As fine as she's ever been.

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_01]: As fine as she's ever been.

[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Unbelievable.

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_00]: We felt that to our core.

[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It's adult entertainment for Wynn Calls the Halls.

[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_00]: It certainly is.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's take a quick break.

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll come back and we'll bring this episode down here on Deck the Hallmark.

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back everybody.

[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_03]: We're talking Chicken Sisters season one, episode four.

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I've Got Friends in Low Places.

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_02]: We do a little thing around here called the hot takes.

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_02]: We do.

[00:16:33] [SPEAKER_02]: It's where we share our thoughts.

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_02]: We don't hold back and sometimes those takes can be a little bit spicy.

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's see what we got going on today.

[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Jax, let's start with you.

[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_02]: What is your thoughts on season one, episode four?

[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm obsessed with this episode.

[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_00]: This show keeps getting better and better.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I love it.

[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, if I go to a comedy show or theater, which now I'm losing my credibility for, but I do go.

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_00]: When do you go to the Broadway?

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_02]: When you go to the theater by climbing through some hole somewhere.

[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_02]: You have to know a word at the door.

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_02]: You got to go through a puddle of mud.

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Tickets are three for one.

[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_00]: It's actually true, but I'm a very loud laugher.

[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I participate, but when I'm at home watching stuff, it takes a lot for me to actually laugh out loud.

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_00]: When Shauna says the line, I did a hippie again.

[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I lost my gosh darn mind.

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't stop laughing.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I think this episode is fantastic.

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I love how everything is going down with Amanda.

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I think her character is so fascinating.

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_00]: It's played with such skill.

[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I like how we're seeing Mae have a little bit more depth.

[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just loving all of it.

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_00]: This whole thing with the drop this episode was just giving me life.

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I get so excited to watch this show, and I'm really glad what Hallmark Plus is bringing me.

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_00]: More of this, please.

[00:18:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I am less high on this episode than the other ones, but I will just say this.

[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I do think that this show continues to get Southern culture right.

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_02]: A couple of areas of getting it right in this episode.

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_02]: One, the whole just push your feelings down is very Southern.

[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_02]: You just push the feelings down.

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Whatever frustration you have, just push it down.

[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Plow through, and you'll be okay.

[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_02]: You'll get out on the other side.

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Rub some dirt on it.

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_02]: That's fine.

[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Then, the love of gossip.

[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Somehow in the good old Christian towns, the whole gossip thing just didn't translate.

[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That's just a recommendation not to gossip because they love themselves some gossip.

[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not gossip.

[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just telling you what I saw.

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_02]: This type of thing where a bunch of people get around for the drop, I 100% buy that that is things that happen and would happen in this town.

[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_02]: I was not interested in the amount of time that Frank Jr. and Chicken Man got.

[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't care about that at all.

[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I understand what they were doing with guts in this episode.

[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought there was obviously some growing done by her sticking up for her daughter, which I didn't mention in this analysis, but she does stick up for Mae in this episode when they're talking about it.

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, hey, I love her.

[00:19:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I can talk about her.

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't talk about her.

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a classic Southern.

[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I kind of missed Gus.

[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I wish Gus was at the drop.

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I wish he was at the drop.

[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought that would have been a lot of fun.

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_02]: But I will just say this show continues to surprise me.

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It continues to keep me interested and invested in these characters and how they're developing.

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm really interested in seeing who opens up that door, if it is who we think it might be.

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_02]: That would be huge.

[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_02]: There's any number of people that it could be.

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I think they obviously want you to think it's Sergio.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_02]: There ain't no way.

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd be shocked if it was Sergio, but also this show has continued to shock me.

[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll see what they do.

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll see what they do.

[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_02]: She could be going to Mae's because she wants to talk to, like, hey, I want to talk to you.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I miss my family.

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_02]: There's things that they could do.

[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_02]: It could be Gus.

[00:20:43] [SPEAKER_02]: There's many options.

[00:20:46] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll see where they go with it.

[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_02]: It's nice to have a show that has options.

[00:20:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you think it looked like Gus' house?

[00:20:53] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I was ruminating on.

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't think it looked like...

[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we saw the inside of the door.

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I understand what you're saying.

[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like if it was Gus, I would have recognized the door.

[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Clocked it, yeah.

[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll see what happens.

[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_02]: To that point, it's just nice to have a show that I'm talking about with Jax that has options.

[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like we've talked about another show for a long time where it just feels like our hands are tied.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_02]: There's nothing we can do.

[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's nice.

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Dano?

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just not having the time that you guys are having.

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And I got to be honest, I know most people, what I'm about to say would think this is true about most things.

[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_01]: But for the first time, I think it's 100% me.

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what I want from this show.

[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_01]: I know that I don't particularly care.

[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's not because of the acting.

[00:21:54] [SPEAKER_01]: The acting is great.

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And the characters are continuing to develop.

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_01]: But you would think this episode would have all the markers of something that I would really enjoy.

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just kind of bored.

[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know if it's normally when I don't like something that Hallmark puts out, it's either A, this is ridiculous.

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_01]: They could have done a way better job.

[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Or it's B, I really wanted this to happen and it didn't happen.

[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_01]: With this show, I don't think they can do a better job than they're doing.

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_01]: But I also, A, don't know or have a rooting interest.

[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have a single solitary rooting interest in something happening on this show.

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't point to one thing and go, I hope that Sergio and Skyler get together.

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care if they get together.

[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_01]: That's not high on my list.

[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I hope Frank Jr. gets his act together.

[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I hope Mimi's.

[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have a single hope for this show.

[00:22:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And there's shows I watch where I don't know, I don't have a care what's going to happen.

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_01]: But I'm fascinated to see what they bring me next.

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't really have that either.

[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_01]: And so I know this is kind of a Debbie Downer of a hot take.

[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_01]: But I just, I don't think at this point there's anything they can do differently than what they're doing.

[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just not charring my tree.

[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not grabbing me.

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not doing it for me and I can't tell you why.

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_01]: But I would love to hear what your rooting interests are in this show.

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I fundamentally have none.

[00:23:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't have one.

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I was, you know, I was just going to say, I think that's any of the criticism I've seen about their show online

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_02]: is that no one's likable.

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_02]: But I think that's kind of part of what works.

[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_02]: It's like there's no one to, like, I have a hard time finding a person to root for because everybody's, you know,

[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_02]: like clearly got some trauma going on there.

[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And so it's like where the other shows that we watch, there's like clearly like, hey, this is a, I'm going to cheer for this person.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know who I'm cheering for in the show.

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_00]: It's so unfortunate that people who are watching this just can't seem to want to see people that are multifaceted.

[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I know.

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, no.

[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_00]: It's just, it's just funny that criticism is like, I completely disagree.

[00:24:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I think everyone on this show, with the exception of Frank Jr., is very likable.

[00:24:13] [SPEAKER_00]: They just are people who make mistakes and are real people.

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I think my favorite shows of all time, there are some exceptions, West Wing being an exception.

[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that most, the best shows of all time have no characters that are just 100% good or 100%.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I think they're all in the middle somewhere. They're trying their best.

[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's part of what makes something real.

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_00]: When you're saying vested interest, I want to see Sergio plow Amanda's field.

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to see Mae.

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if I can say.

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Is this the truth?

[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Mae has a field in upstate New York. It's not what you think it is.

[00:24:56] [SPEAKER_01]: It's getting out of control.

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Wait, did I say Mae? I meant Amanda.

[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Amanda has a field in upstate New York. It's not what you think it is.

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_01]: It's completely above board. No one's formed the field and it needs to be formed. That's all that she's saying.

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to see the two sisters connect on their own, but through a little bit of humor and not too sugary, syrupy sweet.

[00:25:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Then I want to see by the end of the season, there's a moment where Wendy Malick and her daughters can connect ever so briefly.

[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Then I want to see Leah Thompson and Amanda solidify that their relationship is the important relationship.

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Frank Jr. can go kick rocks.

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Those last three, I'm serious. That sounded very sarcastic, but really truly great.

[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I think this one, Sergio and Amanda, that's the one that I think I'm hung up on because I think I'm supposed to want that.

[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm supposed to want to see these two characters get together, fields or what have you.

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_01]: But I just don't.

[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not that I... I think Frank Jr. is terrible and I think she should leave him.

[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Like yesterday, I think she should leave him.

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_01]: But I also know in the book he's dead and I know that he's not supposed to be a real part of this love triangle.

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying it because I'm like, she should stay with her husband. No, no, girl leave now.

[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Girl leave!

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_01]: He's trash. Leave.

[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_01]: My problem is I don't have that strong of... they have good chemistry, but nothing in me this week is like,

[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_01]: man, is Amanda and Sergio going to happen this week?

[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Jax, it's me. I don't know what it is about this show that's not...

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing about it that's really drawing me in and being like, what can I see this week that I'm really pulling for?

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing sweet in your field.

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing sweet in your tea.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_01]: No, nothing sweet in my tea. That's right.

[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Sweet tea.

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_02]: It's time for all the fields where we're talking about what this episode gave us feels. Jax.

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Look, I know that Sergio is a good looking man, but he didn't really do it for me personally until I saw him do karaoke

[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm like, are we a musical theater man? Love that for him.

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Then my other two big feels of this episode... well, one I'm just obsessed with Shauna, but that's just overall huge feels for her.

[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Her selling her gosh darn leggings. Do you guys know LuLaRoe? The legging company?

[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_00]: The big documentary where the leggings smelled. You could see through them. Do I have four pairs? Absolutely I do.

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I just thought that was amazing.

[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Then Mae, we're seeing how she had to grow up and not only take care of her family when she was a kid,

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_00]: but that she's been secretly sending her mom money since she left town and her mom's thinking it's from this fan company.

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Then her big monologue at the end that Genevieve handled masterfully when she's like, yeah, this is who I am.

[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't proud of who I am. I'm going to come clean. I mean, girl, Genevieve's got an MFA and you can tell she is working it.

[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_01]: What's an MFA?

[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Master of Fine Arts.

[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh.

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Can you believe I didn't know it? Can you believe it?

[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'll say this. I anticipated something happening in this episode that was going to be like, this is dumb.

[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe they did this and then they didn't do it. They have Amanda send Sergio a voice memo.

[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought they were going to do a bit worse.

[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Which is a wait what, but sending a voice memo and I anticipated the classic Hallmark thing to happen where somebody is listening in on her do that.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Frank Jr. hears it.

[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Or when Sergio listens to it, somebody else hears it.

[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Or she accidentally sends it to Frank Jr. by accident.

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And none of it happens. It turns out in 2024 people do just know how to do voice memos.

[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And so that's nice. And I was like, okay, cool. The trappings that typically get fallen into on these shows isn't happening here.

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And I like that. I appreciate it.

[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Easily it's Gus sticking up for her daughters with whom she is estranged.

[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the southern equivalent of Darth Vader throwing the Emperor down the shaft there.

[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I've been kicking my son's butt all movie. Oh, you're now hurting my son? You're going to die.

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I loved that scene very, very much. That's the closest I had to feeling something watching this.

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_01]: There you go. I'm trying. I always try.

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_02]: He always tries. We're going to take a quick break. We're going to come back with a wait what and the chicken fry.

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Here on Take the Hallmark.

[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_02]: How are we? We're doing well? I hope so.

[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I hope you're doing great, man.

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I hope so. Yeah, it's Friday. Celebrate Friday.

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_02]: So the way was I talk about what this episode is going on.

[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I have three for this episode. I think this is just because I wasn't properly paying attention.

[00:30:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Candle, candelabra, calabasas, caller, Cav, Cavs, keep keeper,

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_01]: cephalopod,

[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_01]: two more, cowboy, cowgirl, calligraphy, one more call your mother. Okay, you've

[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_01]: jumped the shark. You were close.

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, coy, coy pond, coy,

[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_01]: coy, kid, kid, Carol, the bells. Yes. Hey, there it is. You got it.

[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Continue. Usually, usually when there's a bit I like can at least kind of follow where it's coming from.

[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_00]: That time I think that was the most blown away I've ever been and I enjoyed every second of it.

[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_00]: But was totally cool. So thank you for that.

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_01]: You guess the word jacks. Whenever you think it's the word, you guess it.

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. So one person has the dictionary turns is reading words out of the dictionary and whatever they do experience in person.

[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, that's right. I definitely need to experience in person.

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a dictionary. What was that? What it was? No, it was a something else.

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it was a drop. It was a dictionary drop. Yes, of course. Yeah.

[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I so the actress Genevieve is five years younger than Skylar.

[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Her playing the older sister wasn't clear to me, even though May is older in the book.

[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure they've told us that in the show, but I did in this episode realize it when May was telling Amanda about how things were when she was little.

[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I think these two actresses look very close in age and it's not a problem.

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I just didn't realize. So I did go wait. What out loud?

[00:32:13] [SPEAKER_00]: My other two are. Okay, so Shauna, I love her. She's a great businesswoman.

[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_00]: She pretends to be drunk so that she can air out all this dirty laundry and so people will come to the drop.

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_00]: That's really fun. Then we find out, though, that she's not drunk.

[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_00]: But that just confused me why she revealed the vasectomy thing, because that very much felt like it popped out because she was really wasted at that point.

[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_00]: So I wonder if that was because I feel like everything else is curated.

[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_03]: It's the power.

[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_01]: That's my big wait, what of this episode, which is if she's not drunk that whole time, why is she deciding this is the night to share everyone's secrets?

[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And is it strategic and how is it strategic? And aren't you now just a mercenary of information?

[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you just the worst person?

[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it is strategic in that everyone's like, oh, we have to go to the drop because she'll be drunk and she'll spill secrets.

[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_00]: But the way she was spilling the other ones, I was like, oh, you know what you're saying? It's all like fun, hot goth.

[00:33:12] [SPEAKER_00]: But the vasectomy felt like, oh, shoot, I shouldn't have said that. I only said that because I was wasted.

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's the one that didn't make sense to me.

[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And why would you share that sober or drunk unless you were doing it on purpose?

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_01]: She's sharing all of this on purpose.

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_00]: 100%. And the rest of the stuff felt sort of innocuous to me and I thought it was kind of fun, but that was harsh.

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And then the final one is, look, you know, I love my girl, Rukia. I think she deserved that job over me.

[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_00]: But that's just not how it works. It wasn't like necessarily she was going to get that job.

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_00]: And I know I literally just I tape my auditions with a friend. Sometimes we go in for the same stuff.

[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And I went to tape with her yesterday. I was like, you should text your manager and make sure that you get this audition too.

[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_00]: You're really good for it. Like, it's not like they were going head to head.

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I just I didn't like how can I can I feel like it was like an awkward thing?

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Sure. Also, Rukia Bernard never would have worn that horrific outfit that she was wearing in the second part of the Hamptons thing.

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Like it was too flashy. It's like Southern people's idea of what New Yorkers dress like. Not actual New Yorkers.

[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Anytime anybody has something that they think is everybody else thinks is too expensive.

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just Hollywood or New York down here. It's just like, oh, you just went all New York.

[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_02]: All New York, huh? All right. All right.

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I there are two instances of talk voice memos or talk to text in this episode.

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_02]: There's never been one so far in the show and they utilize the heck out of it.

[00:34:47] [SPEAKER_02]: This episode. Very important stuff, too.

[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Like it's not just like, hey, I'm running a little bit late.

[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a little bit. It's didn't mean I slept with you and it was a mistake.

[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I need to go back. Very important stuff.

[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, I want to tell you everything about who I am now.

[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I've been lying to you for our entire lives.

[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just very juicy stuff to put into a voice.

[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure there are some people who that's how they feel comfortable doing that.

[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I just can't imagine who like I can't imagine doing it personally.

[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't like I want to see somebody in the eyes when I give any information like that.

[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_01]: And then secondary, I guess I want to read it of starting a voice memo

[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_01]: where you don't know what you're going to say and then working through your feelings on.

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's also if that's you, you do that for everything.

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I know voice memo people, but they do nothing but voice memos.

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And we just didn't we this is the first time you've seen a voice memo out for this.

[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Very important information.

[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I yeah, I'm one of those people.

[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, fair.

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Listen, but when you do that, wouldn't we see that in the character for four episodes though?

[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Unless she's just really gotten into it, you know,

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_00]: because there was a day when I wasn't voice memoing at all and then everything changed.

[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_00]: And now there's voice memoing up a storm.

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_02]: There's before voice memoing and after.

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's just right there.

[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I just try to happen and I talk.

[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty crazy. It's not so.

[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I just you've sent me a voice memo and I'm now trying to think of what it was about.

[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_01]: It was about something serious.

[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it was pretty rambling.

[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_01]: It was something serious though.

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh wait, was it?

[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_01]: That pertained to the podcast, but it was something we can talk about it all.

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I've got a voice for this from you too.

[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm a voice memo girly.

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_00]: You know who friend of the pod who's a bit too big voice memo girlies friends of the pod.

[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Aaron Cahill, Brit Bristow.

[00:36:44] [SPEAKER_00]: You just talk it out.

[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_00]: You just talk it out.

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Just talk it out. There you go.

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_02]: We should send a collective voice memo to them and just be like, hey, we talked about you on the show today.

[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_02]: We're talking it out.

[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Talking it out. Jack's told us this is the way you like to talk, communicate with people.

[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this is okay.

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_02]: The question that I had about the drop was it seems like very clear that no one actually cares about the leggings.

[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?

[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Except for my favorite local lesbian.

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I love that town. She cares about the leggings.

[00:37:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I think my thing was like, is she doing what everybody considers to drop to push?

[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Because that's the only way that she can actually sell leggings.

[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_02]: But it was like very, like I felt like for the most part people were like whatever about the leggings.

[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if it was like people were going nuts about the leggings.

[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I would understand it more, but it seemed like a little bit.

[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not about the leggings.

[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Not about the leggings. Dana?

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I get that the show is only 42 minutes long and so you can only establish so much character.

[00:37:56] [SPEAKER_01]: But Sergio is not best friends with Kenneth and Patrick.

[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Like just out of nowhere this guy gets divorced and they act as though these two, three people have been hanging out for four straight episodes.

[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_01]: And they just fundamentally have not been hanging out for four episodes.

[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's that friend group.

[00:38:16] [SPEAKER_01]: You know the classic Kenneth, Patrick, Sergio and Gus occasionally.

[00:38:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes Gus.

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Did that not strike you as odd, Jax?

[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, not only that, it's like I figured I just must have missed something because I guess he's staying on the couch.

[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_01]: My thing is that you've got to establish that.

[00:38:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Like Sergio wanting to hang out with his friends makes sense.

[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_01]: We know these two people.

[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_01]: They've not interacted.

[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_01]: They've had opportunities.

[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Kenneth has been in memes and frannies.

[00:38:47] [SPEAKER_01]: They've had opportunities to interact and have said nothing to each other.

[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_01]: They're best friends?

[00:38:53] [SPEAKER_01]: No, stop it.

[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, imagine that your significant other cheats on you and then the following day proposes to you and you say yes.

[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's tough.

[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Imagine that being a thing that happens because I certainly cannot.

[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Jax is looking like she has something to say.

[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I certainly cannot.

[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Share your truth, Jax.

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, it didn't happen to me.

[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_00]: There is someone I know that after an indiscretion he got engaged a month later because then he was like really sure that he wanted to see you again.

[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, a month later you've talked it out.

[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Not the next day.

[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_01]: You've been honest.

[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_01]: You have an affair in the evening and the next day, not the next evening, she said the next day you drop down on one knee.

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_01]: With the enemy!

[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_01]: With the other chicken restaurant.

[00:39:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Sleeping with the enemy.

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's ballpark 12 to 15 hours later.

[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_01]: You propose and your girlfriend says yes.

[00:40:00] [SPEAKER_01]: What in the world?

[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_01]: That's wild.

[00:40:05] [SPEAKER_01]: That's out there.

[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_01]: And then lastly, your friend gets divorced.

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_01]: This is the first day they're divorced.

[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Your best bud.

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_01]: We all know they're best friends.

[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_01]: You take them out to a bar.

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_01]: They just got divorced.

[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_01]: They're probably needing some company.

[00:40:21] [SPEAKER_01]: You sign them up for karaoke without asking and you have them sing a love ballad.

[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Seems mean-spirited.

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_01]: It seems mean-spirited.

[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_01]: You just finalized something that was a huge part of your life.

[00:40:37] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like phantom pain.

[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like a limb you no longer have.

[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_01]: They make him sing his ex-wife's first dance song.

[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_01]: What if you sing She's Got A Way by Billy Joel?

[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_01]: What if you sing Total Eclipse of the Heart?

[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_01]: What if you sing another heartbreaking...

[00:40:54] [SPEAKER_01]: You didn't even ask him!

[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Definitely should've sang a breakup song.

[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I also think the thing is they clearly are trying to get him a number, which it works.

[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_01]: They're being good wingmen.

[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_01]: But he got divorced today, gang.

[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_01]: You can't sign him up for karaoke and have him sing a love ballad when he just got divorced.

[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_01]: The day he got divorced.

[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Can you?

[00:41:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I enjoyed the heck out of it, but it is a little mean-spirited, Dan.

[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I would agree with you.

[00:41:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Dilettante.

[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Derby.

[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Donut.

[00:41:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Dork.

[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Doorknob.

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Door.

[00:41:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Difficult.

[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Dimension.

[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you under the impression that doorknob is before door?

[00:41:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm reading the dictionary, but not in order.

[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what makes it a dictionary drop.

[00:41:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know that was what made it a drop.

[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Donut.

[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_01]: The other one, not the O-N, the O-U-G-H.

[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Decal.

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Decathlon.

[00:42:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Decathlon.

[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Decathlon.

[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Decathlon, Jax.

[00:42:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Decathlon.

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Decater?

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Jax still doesn't get the game, if that makes any sense.

[00:42:12] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_00]: When I said I got the game before and I was nodding and smiling and laughing, it was just because I wanted the conversation to end so that I could talk.

[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a defense mechanism.

[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_01]: And I did it rigged in interrupt you, and we've been working with him on that.

[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_01]: So imagine you have a dictionary.

[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.

[00:42:27] [SPEAKER_02]: There is a word.

[00:42:28] [SPEAKER_02]: You look at the dictionary and you pick a word.

[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And you say, this is the word.

[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_02]: This is the word.

[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_02]: And then the other person is reading words and you're trying to guess the word.

[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they're trying to guess the word.

[00:42:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Sounds fun.

[00:42:45] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll invite you to the next dictionary drop.

[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a dictionary drop.

[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Once you get it in person, you'll get it.

[00:42:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't wait.

[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Marathon baby.

[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_02]: What was I going to say?

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's chicken fried.

[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_03]: It's time to talk about what in this episode made us chicken or fried.

[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_02]: It's clear as crystal.

[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Jax?

[00:43:07] [SPEAKER_00]: You know that phrase, when you have a hammer, every problem becomes a nail.

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Isn't that a phrase?

[00:43:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Dang, that's good.

[00:43:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that is something like that.

[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_01]: If that's not the phrase, it's very close.

[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm not sure if this is going to translate correctly.

[00:43:25] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll bring this every episode I can.

[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_00]: But as a queer woman, maybe I'm just looking for queer characters everywhere I go.

[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm like, is Gus gay?

[00:43:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Is the daddy who runs the hard app with 2Ds, is he gay and going to get with Frank Jr.?

[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Is this leggings woman gay?

[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm enjoying it.

[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm enjoying that.

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_00]: But what I will say, so that got me all fried.

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Sure.

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_00]: But what got me chicken was-

[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think she understands the segment.

[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Elephant.

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Elevator.

[00:43:59] [SPEAKER_01]: No, we're not doing it. Go ahead, Jax.

[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Wait, so, and then chicken, I'm getting scared because I don't want the app hard with 2Ds to be an app that's like Grindr.

[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing wrong with Grindr, love Grindr, but hard was creeping me out.

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Am I not understanding this segment?

[00:44:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Chicken of the week?

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, I think you should choose one or the other. It's a bad segment, Jax.

[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Because it doesn't make any sense.

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I just choose Frannies or Mimis and I'm switching to Frannies this week.

[00:44:30] [SPEAKER_01]: For what purpose?

[00:44:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Because I just decided it's Frannies this week.

[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Brand, are you chicken or fried?

[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for asking.

[00:44:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I am 100% fried on, and not in a good way, over fried.

[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm over fried on Frank Jr.

[00:44:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Any hope I had for Frank Jr. was thrown out when this man looked at his wife and said, I'm not sorry, ma'am.

[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, go shove it in a dirty box.

[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Please do.

[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Go shove it in a dirty box. And you got mad about the field plowing thing earlier.

[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, oh my God.

[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't get mad. I'm sorry.

[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_02]: What I'm trying to say is go kick rocks.

[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Go shove it in a dirty box.

[00:45:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Who do you think you are? I am.

[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_01]: There's so many ways out of there.

[00:45:23] [SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy. That's a crazy thing to say.

[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Brand, that was hard to watch because she was sitting there not even angry, so vulnerably and hurt.

[00:45:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And for him not to even say, well, I'm sorry I hurt you, but I made the right decision for me.

[00:45:35] [SPEAKER_00]: But he wouldn't give her anything. He sucks.

[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_02]: He's not sorry in any way, shape or form.

[00:45:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Shove it in a dirty box.

[00:45:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Shove it in a dirty box.

[00:45:44] [SPEAKER_02]: That sounded worse.

[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's put that on a shirt. I think it'll take off.

[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_03]: No, thank you.

[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Stuff with Chicken of the Week is where we dive deep into the life of a chicken that has been submitted to us at hello at takethehomebred.com.

[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_02]: We celebrate all sorts of different chickens here. We tell their stories.

[00:45:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And occasionally, so far we've had the farmers or farm-ists join us to talk about it.

[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_02]: What do we have today?

[00:46:05] [SPEAKER_01]: We have Delilish.

[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Delilish.

[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And then under it, it just says, and I believe I'm saying this right, she's a good'un.

[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_01]: She's a good'un.

[00:46:21] [SPEAKER_01]: G-O-O-D apostrophe U-N.

[00:46:26] [SPEAKER_01]: She's a good'un.

[00:46:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Delilish.

[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Is this baby Jack?

[00:46:31] [SPEAKER_04]: No, no, no, no.

[00:46:32] [SPEAKER_01]: It is not.

[00:46:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Who is it, then?

[00:46:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Hello? Who am I speaking with?

[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh me, oh me. Sorry, sorry, sorry.

[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm Farmessus Juicy.

[00:46:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Farmessus Juicy.

[00:46:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Farmessus Juicy?

[00:46:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[00:46:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Like a juicy apple?

[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[00:46:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:46:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Birth name.

[00:46:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That's your birth name. Of course I wouldn't ask otherwise.

[00:47:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you, do you nominate a Delilish?

[00:47:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I did.

[00:47:08] [SPEAKER_04]: That's the chicken's name.

[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_04]: That's the chicken's name.

[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Great, and she is a good'un.

[00:47:11] [SPEAKER_04]: She's a good'un. You know what makes her good'un?

[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_01]: What makes her good'un?

[00:47:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Every day I walk around the field.

[00:47:21] [SPEAKER_04]: No, sorry.

[00:47:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Are you getting emotional?

[00:47:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I am because what she does for me is so special.

[00:47:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:47:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Speak your truth, Juicy.

[00:47:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Did you ever go to high school?

[00:47:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah. I did attend.

[00:47:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Do you remember?

[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Do you remember in high school when you would have those friends that just got you?

[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah.

[00:47:42] [SPEAKER_04]: And then they would stab you in the back?

[00:47:45] [SPEAKER_01]: It sounds like you remember that.

[00:47:47] [SPEAKER_04]: And then they would take fire to your house?

[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_04]: They would light it on fire and the whole thing would burn down?

[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Now it sounds like a crime.

[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't. No.

[00:47:57] [SPEAKER_01]: To answer your question, no, Juicy.

[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_01]: That is not.

[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Delilish is the type of chicken that if your house was on fire from your high school friend

[00:48:04] [SPEAKER_04]: would come right over and take that chicken and run off.

[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_04]: Take that fire and go bye-bye.

[00:48:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Take that fire and go bye-bye.

[00:48:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Now she is a chicken, correct?

[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the heart.

[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_04]: It's the heart of the chicken.

[00:48:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, okay.

[00:48:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Juicy, thank you so much for calling.

[00:48:17] [SPEAKER_04]: And real quick, Suzy, if you're out there, I hate you.

[00:48:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, let's just know about that, I think, than about the chicken.

[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_04]: And it's Karma's a bee and its name is me.

[00:48:26] [SPEAKER_04]: What is it?

[00:48:27] [SPEAKER_04]: What's Taylor say?

[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Karma's me.

[00:48:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:48:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I think you got it.

[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I think you got it, Juicy.

[00:48:38] [SPEAKER_01]: What's the lyric?

[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_01]: You got it.

[00:48:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Karma's a bee, it's me.

[00:48:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Karma's the guy on the street.

[00:48:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I think you got it.

[00:48:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that is exactly what Taylor Swift says and we can take that to the bank.

[00:48:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Juicy.

[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Juicy.

[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_02]: I hated hearing that story though.

[00:48:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It was sad.

[00:48:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it really was.

[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Jax, you got something to say?

[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Jax is like, I couldn't be more done with this.

[00:49:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm loving it.

[00:49:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I think the first week, I was like, oh, this is a bit we do this week because we don't have anyone writing in yet.

[00:49:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And then we'll actually, we'll have a, you know, kind of like a what's calling my heart chicken of the week and it's someone talking about what they were scared about that week or something.

[00:49:20] [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm actually loving getting to hear from all these different chickens.

[00:49:24] [SPEAKER_01]: You thought the chicken of the week wasn't about chickens?

[00:49:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Jax, you're typically…

[00:49:29] [SPEAKER_01]: And you don't understand the dictionary drop game.

[00:49:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Jax, you're typically really smart.

[00:49:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Really sharp.

[00:49:36] [SPEAKER_02]: This is one of your dumbest moments.

[00:49:38] [SPEAKER_00]: It's on me.

[00:49:40] [SPEAKER_00]: It's all on me.

[00:49:41] [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm enjoying hearing from all these chickadees.

[00:49:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm enjoying it and particularly this last one, I really felt something for Juicy.

[00:49:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, me too.

[00:49:49] [SPEAKER_02]: I felt something too.

[00:49:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Show your dirty hole, Bran.

[00:49:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Good gosh, man.

[00:49:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I felt empowered.

[00:49:59] [SPEAKER_01]: What do we need to do to end this episode?

[00:50:01] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll be back next time with another one.

[00:50:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Until then, Merry Christmas!
