[00:00:02] Hi, I'm Bram and I love Hallmark plus Trilogies. I'm Dan and Bram is lying. I'm Alonso and is this how straight people feel watching Hallmark all the time? And this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast. Deck The Hallmark, it's this podcast. Friends host this podcast. We hope you like this jolly podcast. Hi everybody. Welcome to another episode of Deck The Hallmark.
[00:00:40] Deck The Hallmark takes on Hallmark plus. That's right. The way God intended. You know what I mean? We needed more to do. Merry Christmas, Happy Halloween, all that good stuff. Hallmark Channel is all Christmas right now, but you know, do we get holidays or mistletoe murders on Hallmark plus yet? No, no, no. Groomsmen. Groomsmen. Yeah, it is. I will say this. Even when Brian does like the stuff we're watching, you like the first groomsmen, you can see a little bit of his soul go. It's like the Dementors and Harry Potter, like taking it like you can see it's like I could be watching.
[00:01:11] Christmas movies right now. Like that's like, you know, those dumb golfers that have the bumper stickers. Like I should be driving a Titleist. It's like brand brands. Like I should be watching a Christmas movie. You're not wrong. I know you are not wrong about that. I just I I it's October. Daniel, we should be watching Christmas movies. We've already recorded like four Christmas episodes. Oh my goodness. You expect me to be able to just shift on a dime?
[00:01:41] If you're wondering if you can play the card game Christmas movie magic to the groomsmen, the answer is yes, you actually can do it. It's a lot of fun. This game is perfect for I mean, it was obviously created for Christmas movies, even more specifically made for TV Christmas movies, but it really works in just about anything.
[00:02:00] And you can take the Christmas specific cards out. We did that with Aaron when we were watching a deco. It worked great.
[00:02:05] We love we love putting this game through the ringer because we're finding out that we love it. I'm already ready for a supplement supplemental deck.
[00:02:12] That's exactly right. If when you guys start getting the game, those of you that preorder during the marathon are going to be ordering it on Amazon.
[00:02:19] Whenever you get the game, start playing it and then order a billion more so that we can get the stock is gone.
[00:02:26] We get then we start thinking about expansion. We would love to do expansion.
[00:02:30] We would love to do the fall movie supplement. Oh, my God. Come on. Stop selling.
[00:02:35] And also, I'm undefeated currently at Christmas movie magic.
[00:02:38] I will be throwing that out every episode until someone.
[00:02:41] You're one. You're one to know. I'm two to know. No, no, no.
[00:02:43] We do it. Oh, no. So it is a winning streak. Alonzo.
[00:02:47] OK, proud. We'll play. We'll play sometime next week.
[00:02:50] We'll play sometime next week. I'm going to decline to play the rest of the year.
[00:02:53] I'm using my skin. Oh, I'm sick right now. I can't do it.
[00:02:56] I'm using my skin. But it's a lot of fun.
[00:02:59] And it's going to be on sale on Amazon any day now.
[00:03:02] DeckTheHomer.com slash game. And you can perk that up.
[00:03:05] You can pick that up. It's a lot of fun.
[00:03:07] Pick that up. Also, your ears might be perking.
[00:03:09] Yeah. Yeah. Because you're like, it is Christmas movie season.
[00:03:12] Oh, my gosh. How am I going to watch all of those?
[00:03:14] Well, Philo is the only way to do it. Yeah, of course.
[00:03:16] Philo's the best for a lot of different reasons.
[00:03:19] My favorite being that the DVR is completely unlimited.
[00:03:23] And so you can add all of the Christmas movies.
[00:03:26] You told me you've gone back to Biltmore Christmas time and time.
[00:03:27] Like you told me you've gone back to watch.
[00:03:29] Many times. Yes.
[00:03:30] There are some that I just keep on there and I'll just go back to all the time.
[00:03:33] And then, you know, it's fun because you can go back and you can watch the versions from last Christmas, this Christmas.
[00:03:40] See, look at different commercials.
[00:03:43] Or one button ad skip.
[00:03:44] Or one button ad skip.
[00:03:45] There are some people like Alonzo and myself that when there's a Christmas commercial, you actually get quite excited.
[00:03:51] Yeah.
[00:03:52] Look, I will lose hours watching like 70s and 80s Christmas commercials on YouTube.
[00:03:59] It's all of the visual splendor of a Hallmark movie without having to even remotely pay attention to the plot.
[00:04:06] And it's also that's Scotty Newman thing.
[00:04:09] He's got Scotty records the Christmas story every year on the marathon on TBS.
[00:04:16] And he has it all on one hard drive that he's going to give to his daughter so his daughter can go back and look at the commercials that aired.
[00:04:23] That's the first time I remember hearing it.
[00:04:24] Starting the year that she was born, which is pretty cool.
[00:04:26] That's a great gift.
[00:04:28] It's a great gift.
[00:04:28] But he always talks about commercials.
[00:04:30] Yeah, same with the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
[00:04:32] He has all those too since when she was born.
[00:04:34] So it's very thoughtful.
[00:04:36] Yeah.
[00:04:36] Very fun.
[00:04:37] He's a thoughtful guy.
[00:04:38] He's a thoughtful fellow.
[00:04:38] I want you guys to find a 70s Macy's Thanksgiving Parade so that Dave White can guest on Let's Pot a Parade.
[00:04:45] Yeah.
[00:04:46] And spend the entire time explaining to you and Ryan who everybody is.
[00:04:49] What is that?
[00:04:49] Yeah, when you say guest, I would listen and watch if it was just Dave White's Pot a Parade.
[00:04:57] I'll pot a parade.
[00:04:59] The having to pivot to explain.
[00:05:03] Ryan and Brian go, oh.
[00:05:05] Helen Reddy.
[00:05:07] What is that?
[00:05:08] What is that?
[00:05:08] Who is that?
[00:05:09] What's going on there?
[00:05:11] Yeah, so I'm excited about this year's crop.
[00:05:14] I think it's going to be a lot of fun.
[00:05:15] And you can watch all of them on Philo.
[00:05:17] You can also watch the groomsmen there too.
[00:05:19] No, you can't.
[00:05:19] No, you can't.
[00:05:20] I don't know.
[00:05:21] You can't.
[00:05:21] That's Hallmark Plus.
[00:05:24] I hope I never have to go back to Hallmark Plus ever again.
[00:05:28] Until next week.
[00:05:29] We're going to do it next week.
[00:05:29] Or our Tea Garden holidays.
[00:05:31] Cherry Lane.
[00:05:33] Unwrapping.
[00:05:33] We'll be there.
[00:05:35] Mistletoe Murders.
[00:05:36] Yeah.
[00:05:36] I don't want to talk about it.
[00:05:37] Mistletoe.
[00:05:37] I keep forgetting about that.
[00:05:40] In our defense, they've done a real bad job of promoting any of it.
[00:05:44] Well, yeah.
[00:05:45] Oh, you're not even doing Finding Mr. Christmas.
[00:05:48] I'm doing that for you.
[00:05:50] Yes.
[00:05:50] Thank God.
[00:05:51] In some way.
[00:05:51] In some way.
[00:05:52] We still don't really know what it's going to look like.
[00:05:54] But they've done not even a really good job of, like, what is it?
[00:05:58] What is it?
[00:05:58] I think they put out a podge beluga out there.
[00:06:00] They put out a teaser and it was like, the show's coming.
[00:06:04] Okay.
[00:06:05] Yeah.
[00:06:05] We knew that.
[00:06:06] We just don't know what it is.
[00:06:08] What is it?
[00:06:08] And when is the West Brown, is the West Brown light show coming on?
[00:06:12] Is that also a thing?
[00:06:12] I don't know a lot.
[00:06:17] But if you watch the groomsmen, you get like points that you can redeem at your Hallmark
[00:06:21] Gold Browns.
[00:06:23] Oh my gosh.
[00:06:23] So, yes.
[00:06:24] They're giving out points.
[00:06:25] I hate this timeline.
[00:06:29] Our show should be called Deck the Late Stage Capitalism.
[00:06:32] This is crazy.
[00:06:34] This is crazy.
[00:06:36] 41 movies.
[00:06:37] Not enough.
[00:06:40] Only in your jaw.
[00:06:41] We got more coming your way.
[00:06:43] Let's get to the synopsis and then we'll go to some advertisers here.
[00:06:48] That's Amazon.com.
[00:06:49] Christmas movie magic is what you search for.
[00:06:51] It's going to be a lot of fun.
[00:06:52] The Groomsmen Second Chances originally premiered on the Hallmark Plus on October 24th.
[00:07:00] And it went a little something like this.
[00:07:03] The Groomsmen show up at the pub looking for the bride.
[00:07:10] Groomsmen.
[00:07:10] I know.
[00:07:10] But the pub owner tells them to scram.
[00:07:14] After they leave, the bride continues her story.
[00:07:16] Before she tells us about her wedding, she has to tell us about another wedding.
[00:07:21] Danny is talking to his business manager or something buddy, Zach.
[00:07:28] Danny is like, Zach, you're coming with me to my sister's wedding.
[00:07:31] It's going to be a lot of fun.
[00:07:32] And when he tells his buddies that Zach is coming with him, they're like, you guys should just be dating.
[00:07:38] Why aren't you guys dating already?
[00:07:39] And Danny is like, no way.
[00:07:41] We're just friends.
[00:07:43] I'm baseball.
[00:07:45] He's numbers.
[00:07:46] You know?
[00:07:47] Baseball's name is run through the mud like nobody's business.
[00:07:50] Possibly.
[00:07:51] We're too different.
[00:07:51] At the wedding, they're dancing and they're talking about this new guy that Zach is seeing.
[00:07:56] And Danny opens up about what happened between him and his ex.
[00:08:01] A month later, Danny meets Nolan, the guy that Zach was starting to date.
[00:08:07] And Nolan flatters him by telling Danny that he's the greatest pitcher the Phillies ever had.
[00:08:13] Unbelievable.
[00:08:17] These movies are fantasies, y'all.
[00:08:18] Yeah.
[00:08:20] Turns out Zach and Nolan get married or get.
[00:08:24] Sorry.
[00:08:25] Sorry.
[00:08:25] They don't get married.
[00:08:26] Zach and Nolan.
[00:08:28] Why did I say get married?
[00:08:30] But he doesn't tell Danny.
[00:08:31] Engaged.
[00:08:32] Yes.
[00:08:33] Yes.
[00:08:33] Danny tries to talk to him about it at Pete's wedding, but Zach doesn't want to talk about it.
[00:08:39] So they go to dance instead.
[00:08:41] While dancing, Zach tells Danny that he asked Nolan to marry him, but he said no.
[00:08:47] So they broke up.
[00:08:49] But later, the boy is convinced Danny to shoot his shot and tell Zach how he feels.
[00:08:54] And when he finally decides to do so, he is stopped.
[00:08:58] And Zach tells him that Nolan is in for marriage.
[00:09:02] He's in for marriage.
[00:09:02] Just got the words.
[00:09:03] Nolan's in for marriage.
[00:09:04] Go for marriage.
[00:09:05] We got to go.
[00:09:07] Danny is like, OK, great.
[00:09:09] And he's going to be the best man and help Zach plan the wedding.
[00:09:13] They're going to have the wedding in Greece because why not?
[00:09:19] But right before they're set to go over there, Nolan says, I can't leave yet.
[00:09:24] I will be there the day before the wedding.
[00:09:26] So Danny decides that he's going to put a pause on baseball and head over to Greece and help Zach plan the wedding.
[00:09:34] So they go around Greece from place to place planning a party.
[00:09:39] I'm sorry.
[00:09:40] I mean, a wedding.
[00:09:40] It's a wedding planning movie, not a party planning movie.
[00:09:44] One day, Zach surprises Danny with a batting cage on the beach.
[00:09:50] And Danny teaches Zach how to swing.
[00:09:54] All right.
[00:09:55] It is sensual.
[00:09:57] The sparks are flying.
[00:09:59] And the next day.
[00:10:00] The baseballs are not.
[00:10:01] The baseballs aren't flying.
[00:10:02] How to choke up on the bat.
[00:10:04] Yeah.
[00:10:04] Choke up on the bat.
[00:10:06] So that's a big league skill right there.
[00:10:08] That's right.
[00:10:09] The next day, Danny is like, maybe we should talk about, you know, the sparks that were flying yesterday in the batting cage.
[00:10:19] But Zach's like, no, no, it's nothing.
[00:10:21] It can't be anything.
[00:10:23] I'm engaged, basically.
[00:10:25] The boys show up and encourage Danny to be honest with Zach.
[00:10:29] You got to be honest about your feelings with him.
[00:10:31] So he finally goes and he does that.
[00:10:33] And Zach is like, hard pass, man.
[00:10:35] And he gets out of there real quick.
[00:10:37] It is the wedding day.
[00:10:38] Danny is nowhere to be found.
[00:10:40] The boys find him looking out over the water being real sad.
[00:10:45] Suddenly, Zach shows up and tells Danny that he is in love with him too.
[00:10:49] They kiss and they jump into the water together.
[00:10:53] Cut to one year later, same location.
[00:10:56] They did go back to Greece.
[00:10:59] And they get married.
[00:11:00] They shared their vows, which were significantly longer than the vows in the first movie.
[00:11:06] So they listened to the episode and they made changes.
[00:11:09] Made the correction.
[00:11:11] And then the bride says that she has one more story to tell.
[00:11:16] So come on back next week.
[00:11:18] And then she winked at the camera.
[00:11:19] Not really.
[00:11:20] And that, my friends, was The Groomsmen's Second Chances.
[00:11:25] We did it.
[00:11:26] Let's take a quick break.
[00:11:27] We'll come back.
[00:11:28] We'll break this movie down here on Deck the Hallmark.
[00:11:31] Hi, everybody.
[00:11:41] Welcome back to Deck the Hallmark.
[00:11:45] Plus.
[00:11:45] No.
[00:11:46] You can't sign up for Bramble Jam Plus, though, if you want to hang out with us even more.
[00:11:50] Bramble Jam Plus.
[00:11:51] It's a lot of fun.
[00:11:53] Dan, let's talk about The Groomsmen, shall we?
[00:11:55] The second out of three Groomsmen movies.
[00:11:59] This one, the Jonathan Bennett-led movie.
[00:12:03] Let's share our thoughts on it.
[00:12:04] We're going to start with the hot take is where we share exactly how we felt about this movie.
[00:12:07] And I will kick it over to you, Alonzo.
[00:12:10] Well, two big thoughts here.
[00:12:12] First of all, it's a party planning movie.
[00:12:16] Oh, we're doing this again, again, again.
[00:12:19] I thought this was just a Christmas trope.
[00:12:21] But apparently, no, you can do it any time of year.
[00:12:25] Second of all, for years, I have said that it was my goal that one day Hallmark would give us a queer romance that is as adorably bland and sexless as all of the straight ones they've been doing.
[00:12:42] And now I'm like, is this what straight people feel like when they see a Hallmark movie?
[00:12:48] And they're like, yes, but no.
[00:12:49] Careful what you wish for.
[00:12:50] No, but yes.
[00:12:54] But, you know, look, for a TVG take on this, I would have liked it more if I'd seen it on a plane.
[00:13:01] That really helped the first one.
[00:13:05] You know.
[00:13:07] You buy a ticket for every one of these movies.
[00:13:10] Exactly.
[00:13:10] Look, even if it's just from here to Long Beach, I just, I got to see these in the air.
[00:13:16] I would say that when the movie is focused on the main couple or when the movie is focused on the groomsmen, I was more interested.
[00:13:24] I was less interested in chasing down catering and flowers.
[00:13:27] Get out of here.
[00:13:29] Yeah.
[00:13:30] Yeah.
[00:13:31] I agree with Alonzo.
[00:13:32] There are some scenes in this movie that definitely work for as funny as it is to watch Jonathan Bennett try to play baseball.
[00:13:41] The scene where the two of where he teaches the swing is is as good as it gets on Hallmark.
[00:13:47] As far as the sparks and the chemistry, I thought that that scene really worked.
[00:13:52] But you're right.
[00:13:53] It is party planning.
[00:13:54] No matter how much you try to tell us it's a wedding movie, it's a party planning movie.
[00:13:59] It's just what it is.
[00:14:00] So the ceiling there can only be so high.
[00:14:06] And, you know, this is one of those things where it's like in the first movie, Jonathan Bennett gets to be my favorite type of Jonathan Bennett, which is just really upbeat and fun and silly.
[00:14:17] And so in this movie where Jonathan Bennett has to be like really like serious and like not that he's bad at it.
[00:14:26] It's just that I love him so much as the silly fun guy that is like I'm like, oh, yeah, you've got to sometimes be serious.
[00:14:33] And it's like we go back to being silly.
[00:14:35] It's fun.
[00:14:37] So this movie was was just an OK for me.
[00:14:40] I think the the the when the friends are together again, I think the groomsmen still really work.
[00:14:46] At one point, Dan, you looked at me and you were like, it's still working for you.
[00:14:49] And it does.
[00:14:50] I said this scene is working for you.
[00:14:52] Yes, that's what you said.
[00:14:53] Talking about the three groomsmen together.
[00:14:54] And I said, yeah, it is.
[00:14:56] I think that they just work.
[00:14:57] These three work well together.
[00:14:59] In my opinion, it's the the best part of the movie so far has been when these three are together.
[00:15:07] Not nearly enough hijinks in this one compared to the first one.
[00:15:12] So overall, an OK movie in this trilogy of movies.
[00:15:19] Yes, I guess.
[00:15:21] I guess we asked for I guess we asked for a trilogy of groomsmen.
[00:15:24] Who can say?
[00:15:25] Dano?
[00:15:25] Yeah, thanks.
[00:15:26] I hate it.
[00:15:28] I listen.
[00:15:30] I don't IMDb only has the top five cast listed.
[00:15:37] Do you know his name, Alonzo?
[00:15:38] I don't.
[00:15:40] That's a big absence from IMDb.
[00:15:43] It is crazy that that guy's not in there because I do think that he and Jonathan Bennett have good romantic chemistry.
[00:15:49] I do think that is the one thing I will say for this movie that is not, in my opinion, very it's not.
[00:15:56] It's really not existed in the first movie, aside from one scene, in my in my opinion, that aspect of this movie.
[00:16:02] And Grease looks really good, which is I'm sure where they shot the other one to the same location.
[00:16:08] I think the chemistry in a few scenes is better, but it's a party planning movie.
[00:16:14] It's a party planning movie.
[00:16:16] And also, we're going to get to this in probably every other segment, I think.
[00:16:20] But just to put it out there, they're clearly telegraphing a twist in this third movie that really makes these movies have less credibility in general.
[00:16:34] And we picked up on that twist.
[00:16:37] Alonzo, who do you think the bride is?
[00:16:40] Well, I assume that she's marrying Tyler because he's the only one left.
[00:16:47] She says one line in there.
[00:16:48] She specifically says that Nolan marries a guy and they now live somewhere and they have four kids.
[00:16:56] She says, last I heard.
[00:16:57] Last I heard.
[00:16:59] So some time has passed.
[00:17:02] It's evident to Brandon me that that's Tyler Hines' daughter.
[00:17:04] I think it's Tyler Hines' daughter.
[00:17:06] Yeah.
[00:17:07] Oh.
[00:17:07] And I think.
[00:17:09] I mean, it could be that Tyler Hines gets married 10, 15 years from when this movie took place.
[00:17:14] So someone that is in their late 20s and he's around 50.
[00:17:19] My guess is.
[00:17:21] So they're all her groomsmen.
[00:17:23] That's right.
[00:17:24] And that not only does it throw the timeline out of whack of this movie for a number of reasons, it makes the whole thing really silly.
[00:17:33] The first scene of this movie is remarkably silly, like in a way that is just there's no credibility to it at all.
[00:17:41] And so you have a party planning movie, which is unfortunate.
[00:17:45] I don't think the scenes with the groomsmen work.
[00:17:48] And then obviously the thing that takes it most on the chin in this movie is the sport of baseball, which is just the city of Philadelphia takes a back seat.
[00:18:00] The sport of baseball takes a front seat.
[00:18:02] And they both drive off a cliff together in this movie.
[00:18:06] That was there's some really absurd stuff that happens on the baseball front in this movie.
[00:18:12] And so, yeah, a tough watch based on the chemistry of the leads alone.
[00:18:16] I would give it a slight edge over the first one.
[00:18:19] But that is saying so little.
[00:18:21] I just it's not good.
[00:18:24] Not good.
[00:18:25] And to be clear, the baseball stuff, and I'm sure you'll get to it in the way what it is,
[00:18:31] not just about the way Jonathan Bennett holds a bat.
[00:18:34] No, it is the details that they have put into the script about baseball.
[00:18:38] Andrew Walker.
[00:18:40] And I would I think I've said this to him in person at Bramble Fest.
[00:18:44] The movie he makes, I believe, Perfect Catch or something.
[00:18:48] Nicky Deloach.
[00:18:49] Yeah.
[00:18:49] He is the least believable baseball player I've ever seen until Jonathan Bennett.
[00:18:55] Hold my big league.
[00:18:56] That's right.
[00:18:56] Hold my big league.
[00:18:57] Like great.
[00:18:59] Hallmark has this ability to just not sport well, but continue to try to use it anyway.
[00:19:05] And they don't really profession well, to be fair.
[00:19:08] That's true.
[00:19:09] True.
[00:19:09] Yeah.
[00:19:10] But anything journalism.
[00:19:12] We've cared about.
[00:19:13] Any podcast.
[00:19:14] Yeah.
[00:19:14] Ghost hunting.
[00:19:15] When Mark Lucas was barbecuing, I was like, this is not.
[00:19:18] You guys have never seen a barbecue.
[00:19:20] When Lacey is like the daughter of two bakers and she says, my mother's secret ingredient
[00:19:25] for cookies is vanilla extract.
[00:19:27] Vanilla extract.
[00:19:28] That's right.
[00:19:28] Yeah.
[00:19:28] So photography, we don't even need to get started on photographers.
[00:19:31] And that movie was like, what?
[00:19:33] A hundred years ago.
[00:19:35] So that is, she's so old.
[00:19:37] How is she even allowed to make these movies anymore?
[00:19:39] Grandma Moses.
[00:19:40] I just, I think, add this to the list of why are you trying to make this guy be, I believe,
[00:19:50] a professional baseball player and then not proceed to not know how to write it or act
[00:19:56] or anything.
[00:19:57] It was terrible.
[00:19:59] I have breaking news.
[00:20:00] The actor who plays Zach is named Alexander Lincoln.
[00:20:03] And I only know this because I had to comb through Jonathan Bennett's Instagram to find him.
[00:20:09] Shout out to him.
[00:20:10] Alexander Lincoln.
[00:20:11] Yeah.
[00:20:11] Yeah.
[00:20:11] I'd never seen him in anything.
[00:20:12] I thought he did a really solid job.
[00:20:14] Yeah.
[00:20:15] Yeah.
[00:20:15] Yeah.
[00:20:15] Let's get to all the feels.
[00:20:16] We'll talk about what in this movie gave us feels.
[00:20:19] Alonzo?
[00:20:20] I did actually have some.
[00:20:25] When Ophelia Papadopoulos, which is a great name, tells Zach that the part of the key of
[00:20:33] your partner is that you should laugh every day.
[00:20:37] When Dave White and I got married, way before it was legal, we just did it because we wanted
[00:20:42] to do it, we included, in addition to sort of love, honor, we threw in respect, trust,
[00:20:50] and amuse.
[00:20:51] I love it.
[00:20:52] You know, that we would amuse each other on a daily basis.
[00:20:55] And yeah, I'm a big believer in that.
[00:20:57] That is an actual true piece of advice from this movie.
[00:21:01] Also, then when Jonathan Bennett later says, I get to marry my best friend, I felt that same
[00:21:08] way when I got married too.
[00:21:09] So those seemed like-
[00:21:10] What a sweet moment here on Deck the Hallmark.
[00:21:13] Very sweet.
[00:21:13] Unbelievable.
[00:21:14] Shout out.
[00:21:15] I thought those were legit moments.
[00:21:17] And then, you know what?
[00:21:17] Look, they're kissing big ones.
[00:21:19] I got to give it up.
[00:21:20] Yeah.
[00:21:20] Yes.
[00:21:20] Like, this is a gay wedding movie.
[00:21:23] Did Hallmark shunt it off to their streaming service?
[00:21:26] Yes.
[00:21:26] Has Hallmark completely erased queer people from this year's Countdown to Christmas?
[00:21:30] Also, yes.
[00:21:31] But we have to take our victories where we find them.
[00:21:34] And so even on Hallmark Plus, this is a gay wedding movie and they do not hold back
[00:21:38] on the smooching.
[00:21:39] So hooray.
[00:21:40] Hooray for that.
[00:21:41] Well, and I will say this.
[00:21:42] Early on when Zack and Nolan kiss, they cut really quickly from it.
[00:21:46] And I was like, what's going on?
[00:21:48] Like really quickly from it.
[00:21:50] What's going on here?
[00:21:50] But, you know, I think Ron Oliver just didn't want that much attention on those two characters.
[00:21:55] We don't want Baxter kissing.
[00:21:56] Of course.
[00:21:57] Got it.
[00:21:57] Yeah.
[00:21:57] Yeah.
[00:21:58] Yeah.
[00:21:58] Everything that you said is correct.
[00:22:00] I think we all kind of lucked out and married our best friends, which is really nice.
[00:22:03] And a good way to do it.
[00:22:04] Would recommend.
[00:22:05] Would recommend.
[00:22:06] If you're going to marry somebody, you should marry somebody that's your best friend.
[00:22:07] Laugh every day also would recommend.
[00:22:08] Would recommend.
[00:22:10] We've seen a handful of movies at this point that have taken place in Greece.
[00:22:16] And for once, I leave it to Ron Oliver to actually show it off.
[00:22:22] I felt like this was the first time I've been like, boy, Greece is really nice.
[00:22:25] Yeah.
[00:22:26] And I felt like they did a really good job of showcasing Greece, where sometimes we have
[00:22:32] these on-location movies and I'm like, oh, yeah, I forgot we're at a place that's not Canada.
[00:22:37] And so I thought they did a really, really good job of showcasing Greece.
[00:22:41] Like even to the final love declaration where Zach shows up and Danny's looking out over the water.
[00:22:49] Like all of that was really beautiful.
[00:22:50] So they did a really great job of showcasing Greece and actually using the setting there as
[00:22:54] a character, which was nice.
[00:22:55] I have two.
[00:22:56] The first one is we didn't see the dance from the first movie again, which I was a big relief
[00:23:02] for me.
[00:23:03] Disappointed.
[00:23:03] I have to sit through that again.
[00:23:04] Disappointed.
[00:23:05] And two, I just, Ophelia Papadopoulos.
[00:23:09] The name, great.
[00:23:10] But also, party planning movies suck.
[00:23:13] But having a meddling person from Greece who is just always like, no, no, no, you need to
[00:23:18] do this.
[00:23:19] No, no, no, you need to do that.
[00:23:20] But she was a fun character.
[00:23:22] I like in a different movie.
[00:23:25] She's just kind of wasted in this movie.
[00:23:27] I think she would make a really fun character in a lot of Hallmark movies.
[00:23:32] So I did enjoy that.
[00:23:34] Let's take a quick break.
[00:23:35] We'll come back.
[00:23:35] We'll get to the way, what, and the what, the Hallmark.
[00:23:37] You're on Deck the Hallmark.
[00:23:48] Welcome back, everybody.
[00:23:52] Happy Friday.
[00:23:53] Monday.
[00:23:54] It feels like a Friday.
[00:23:56] It feels like a Friday.
[00:23:57] Christmas time.
[00:23:57] You know what I mean, man?
[00:23:58] That's right.
[00:23:59] Friday, Monday, combo.
[00:24:01] It's great to be back.
[00:24:01] It's all happy.
[00:24:02] It's great to be back.
[00:24:03] We're talking groomsmen, the deuce, and it's time for the way, what is what we're talking
[00:24:07] about?
[00:24:07] One in two minutes.
[00:24:07] Go, wait, what?
[00:24:08] And I'll kick it over to you, Alonzo.
[00:24:10] Yeah, I can't really get too deep into this in this context.
[00:24:14] Let me just say that this is generally speaking not how gay works.
[00:24:22] But it is how we do it on Hallmark.
[00:24:24] So sure, fine.
[00:24:25] We'll go with that.
[00:24:27] But I wrote down, never has it been easier not to laugh at someone's jokes.
[00:24:32] So the whole thing with Nolan is that he never laughs.
[00:24:34] He just says, that's funny.
[00:24:36] Tell me, you really aren't going to go any deeper with this.
[00:24:39] I'm really not.
[00:24:40] I just.
[00:24:41] Wow.
[00:24:41] No.
[00:24:41] You know, maybe.
[00:24:42] I have a question.
[00:24:43] Yes, shoot.
[00:24:44] Bachelor party.
[00:24:46] Are there?
[00:24:50] Nobody's having a bachelor party at the rock climbing place two months before the wedding.
[00:24:54] Like none of that makes sense.
[00:24:55] With none of Nolan's friends there?
[00:24:57] Or like, does Zach have anyone else in his life?
[00:25:00] I mean, like even his other clients?
[00:25:02] Nothing?
[00:25:02] No.
[00:25:02] He's only got friends there by proxy.
[00:25:04] Yeah.
[00:25:05] Yeah.
[00:25:05] I mean, but that's such an ongoing thing with these movies where everybody lives in this vacuum sealed environment.
[00:25:11] Where like, even other groups don't seem to have other friends.
[00:25:13] But in theory, you both have friends and you have bachelor parties.
[00:25:15] You would have your own, like with, if you're getting married.
[00:25:18] Separate ones.
[00:25:18] Yeah, true.
[00:25:19] Yeah.
[00:25:19] No, no.
[00:25:19] All of that.
[00:25:20] All valid.
[00:25:21] You know.
[00:25:21] But again, it's Hallmark.
[00:25:22] It's what we're doing here.
[00:25:24] But yeah.
[00:25:25] I can't believe we're not getting anything more though.
[00:25:25] Go ahead.
[00:25:26] The thing with Nolan, it kind of reminds me of, there's actually, so do y'all know the movie My Favorite Year?
[00:25:33] Yes.
[00:25:34] No.
[00:25:34] It's about, it's based on Mel Brooks's reminiscences of being a writer for the 1950s comedy show, Your Show Shows with Sid Caesar and about what happened the week that Errol Flynn was on the show.
[00:25:48] Anyway, there's one of the characters in the movie is, I don't know if he's supposed to be Neil Simon or what, but the whole joke is that it's a comedy writer's room.
[00:25:55] And he never laughs.
[00:25:56] He just says, oh yeah.
[00:25:58] Oh, that'll, screams, screams.
[00:26:00] Like, you know, he'll just, he can, he knows how it's going to play, but he never responds anything.
[00:26:04] And that's supposed to be the joke with Nolan.
[00:26:06] But the problem is that nothing that anyone says is funny.
[00:26:09] That's right.
[00:26:10] Thank you.
[00:26:10] It's not funny.
[00:26:12] It reminded me of, I believe Mandy Moore in Scrubs is dating Zach Braff's character briefly.
[00:26:18] And he, it drives him nuts that she just says that's funny.
[00:26:21] Is that instead of actually laughing?
[00:26:24] And, but he is once again, in this movie, Nolan is being more than kind.
[00:26:34] He's giving them a gimme.
[00:26:36] More than halfway with his, that's funny.
[00:26:38] That's funny.
[00:26:39] Yes.
[00:26:39] So you're right.
[00:26:42] What's fun about these movies.
[00:26:44] And, you know, like if you're, if you're a longtime Hallmark viewer, you've learned to spot the Canadianisms, you know, like the pizza, pizza, you know, or, or different sort of like very specific local things that pop up.
[00:26:58] So in this movie, we get that hot dog stand.
[00:27:00] Yeah.
[00:27:01] Which looks very much like American restaurant, you know, like it's, it's all over the place.
[00:27:06] Also, and I don't ever go to the gym.
[00:27:09] So I have to ask this question.
[00:27:10] Do U S gyms have kilograms on the, the, I can tell you, they don't solely have kilograms.
[00:27:17] Can you imagine a gym in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania?
[00:27:21] And all the weights are listed only in kilograms.
[00:27:23] All those bros are like, I don't even, what's the formula.
[00:27:27] I just need a hundred pounds.
[00:27:29] You can you imagine?
[00:27:31] It was great.
[00:27:33] It was a great, they did a closeup of it.
[00:27:35] You got three bros in Philly working out and they're just, they're pressing KGs, baby.
[00:27:42] It's fantastic.
[00:27:44] Fantastic.
[00:27:44] That's Philly for you.
[00:27:46] It's back.
[00:27:47] Philly got me a kilogram.
[00:27:48] Never heard of her.
[00:27:51] Okay.
[00:27:52] So the climbing wall, in addition to just being a terrible place to have a bachelor party.
[00:27:55] In business, casual.
[00:27:57] Exactly.
[00:27:59] Wear your slacks.
[00:28:01] For, for Danny to have this party solely as a way to tap into Nolan's fear of heights
[00:28:10] and to, as an excuse to get Zach alone to talk to him is a genuinely terrible thing.
[00:28:16] It's a terrible thing.
[00:28:18] And the movie kind of just glides by it and it turns out to be okay because Nolan can do
[00:28:22] the wall anyway.
[00:28:23] But like the movie never calls him on like, you're, you're being awful right now.
[00:28:28] This is a villain move.
[00:28:30] Yeah.
[00:28:30] I, I thought that was like too low for the character.
[00:28:34] Yes.
[00:28:35] It was a terrible move and I couldn't believe that they just played it for laughs.
[00:28:39] Yeah.
[00:28:39] And there's any number of other ways he could get Zach alone to talk to him without like,
[00:28:44] you know, giving his fiance a panic attack.
[00:28:47] Literally work together.
[00:28:49] Right.
[00:28:51] Boutonnier is not an English word.
[00:28:53] It is a French word.
[00:28:54] Got him.
[00:28:55] And I love that scene so much too, where he was like, we invented the language.
[00:28:59] I thought that was really funny.
[00:29:00] Yeah.
[00:29:00] You invented English.
[00:29:01] You didn't invent French.
[00:29:02] That's right.
[00:29:02] And that is where this word lives.
[00:29:04] Um, and then I just, I wrote one year later, we had the same wedding with the same flowers
[00:29:09] and the same extras in the same outfit.
[00:29:11] It's amazing how everyone can come back and look exactly the same.
[00:29:14] And that is, yes, that movie magic.
[00:29:17] That's just when that's true love.
[00:29:18] You know what I mean?
[00:29:18] That was a dress code dress like 12 months ago when you came to this the first time.
[00:29:22] Everybody freeze.
[00:29:24] We're going to take a picture.
[00:29:26] You're going to look like this.
[00:29:27] There's nothing.
[00:29:28] When I dragged you halfway across the earth for my destination wedding that we then canceled
[00:29:31] at the last minute.
[00:29:32] We're doing it again.
[00:29:34] Wouldn't it make more sense for them to have just used the time and slot and decorations
[00:29:39] and get married right then?
[00:29:41] Sure.
[00:29:41] Well, I mean, you know, it's a little rude to Nolan's friends and family, but they clearly
[00:29:45] all came back for the next one.
[00:29:47] All of those that showed up to the bachelor party.
[00:29:49] I think they'll be fine.
[00:29:52] You know, and does, you know, apart from like the sister, I mean, have we established
[00:29:58] that Danny doesn't have parents?
[00:29:59] I mean, he talks about his sister raising him, but like,
[00:30:02] I mean, he's adopted.
[00:30:03] Danny's adopted.
[00:30:04] Oh, well, we knew that.
[00:30:06] Everybody's in these little vacuum bubbles of like, I have two people in my life and they're
[00:30:10] the ones with dialogue and nobody else matters, you know?
[00:30:13] Anyway, that's what I got.
[00:30:14] I am somebody that, you know, if it's between just a phone call or a video call, I prefer
[00:30:20] a video call.
[00:30:21] I want to see you and I enjoy talking to your face.
[00:30:25] I see my buddies all the time.
[00:30:28] I see my buddies all the time.
[00:30:29] And I don't know what would be, what would have to be going on in my life or be like,
[00:30:34] hey, I need a group video call right now.
[00:30:37] It can't wait until I see you later because they see each other in person all the time.
[00:30:44] We live in the same city.
[00:30:45] But we see, yes.
[00:30:47] They're always at that tavern with the video game in it.
[00:30:50] Yes.
[00:30:50] Or we're going to go to the gym.
[00:30:52] We're going to do so many things together.
[00:30:54] The KG gym.
[00:30:55] But I, yes.
[00:30:56] The KG gym.
[00:30:57] Only.
[00:30:57] Only KG.
[00:30:58] KG only.
[00:30:59] But they, like, two times before they go, he goes over to Greece.
[00:31:05] He is on a video call with them.
[00:31:07] Yeah.
[00:31:07] And it's just like, man, that's like another, like, I can't wait.
[00:31:10] I need to talk to you about this, even though I see you every day.
[00:31:15] In the wedding veil, they use video call, but they're all in different places.
[00:31:19] And that, like, you were, when I pointed it out, you were like, oh, is Pete in?
[00:31:25] I did.
[00:31:25] I was like, is he in Bulgaria?
[00:31:26] Bulgaria.
[00:31:26] That would make some sense.
[00:31:27] He's not.
[00:31:28] He isn't.
[00:31:29] They're going to get together.
[00:31:29] They'll wait for pizza later.
[00:31:31] They'll wait for pizza later.
[00:31:32] Yeah.
[00:31:32] So, I mean, maybe.
[00:31:33] Maybe one of those classic Philly cheesesteaks with lettuce and tomato.
[00:31:36] Maybe I just.
[00:31:37] There is a little bit of sister swap going on here.
[00:31:39] I don't know if you guys noticed.
[00:31:40] I did.
[00:31:40] That we're back at Danny's sister's wedding and we're watching Pete and Heather Hemmons
[00:31:46] meet in the hallway.
[00:31:47] So, the timeline is a little jumpy.
[00:31:49] And that makes me bring up the fact that we don't get to see the dance again.
[00:31:55] I mean, if you're going to set up this whole thing and do this dance.
[00:32:00] I think they knew who to quit while they were ahead.
[00:32:03] Give us the tail end of it from another view, right?
[00:32:06] Like, are we going to recreate.
[00:32:07] Are we going to sister swap or not going to sister swap?
[00:32:09] We had to recreate the three wise men and the baby dance.
[00:32:11] This would be so much easier to recreate.
[00:32:14] It would be so easy on so many fronts.
[00:32:18] But I'm glad that it's not become a thing.
[00:32:20] We don't have to.
[00:32:21] Well, hey, we'll see what happens.
[00:32:22] Don't put it past us.
[00:32:23] We could do it and no one will know what it's from.
[00:32:26] When Alonzo's here for Bramble Fest, we'll be like.
[00:32:28] Or we could do it.
[00:32:29] You guys remember the groomsmen dance?
[00:32:31] We can do it and you'll just have to take our word for it.
[00:32:35] Dan?
[00:32:36] Yeah.
[00:32:38] Baseball.
[00:32:40] Hot dogs.
[00:32:41] Apple pie.
[00:32:42] We are now.
[00:32:42] I somehow missed in the first movie that Jonathan Bennett is a baseball player.
[00:32:47] No, he's a batting coach, I thought.
[00:32:49] In the first movie, they say specifically he was a player.
[00:32:52] Now he's a batting coach.
[00:32:53] But what's wild about that is as a player, he was a pitcher.
[00:32:59] He's a renaissance man, Dan.
[00:33:00] I thought that they said he was a hitting coach too.
[00:33:03] And then Nolan says, you pitched the best game ever against the athletics I've ever seen.
[00:33:09] Which, fun fact, Nolan Ryan, no hitter against the athletics.
[00:33:13] Names Nolan.
[00:33:14] Pitcher A's.
[00:33:15] Maybe they threw that in there for us baseball fans.
[00:33:18] But how is he pitched his whole life and now he's a hitting coach.
[00:33:22] And if he's a hitting coach, he is the world's worst hitting coach.
[00:33:27] Now, is he great at seducing the guy that he loves in a batting cage?
[00:33:32] You bet.
[00:33:33] He's the best at sexy coaching.
[00:33:35] But unless you played baseball before the Great Depression or you're eight years old,
[00:33:40] you don't choke up on a bat.
[00:33:42] Like Tony Gwynn, maybe.
[00:33:44] Like 30, 40 years ago.
[00:33:45] Like this guy cannot hit a baseball.
[00:33:48] He can't do it.
[00:33:50] If you're going to just don't.
[00:33:51] And Jonathan Bennett can play the part.
[00:33:53] But don't keep putting him in batting cages.
[00:33:56] If he's supposed to be a pitcher turned hitting coach.
[00:33:59] Which is just hysterical.
[00:34:01] Like just crazy that they've done this.
[00:34:05] Good at everything.
[00:34:06] And then they go, he's missing two weeks of the season.
[00:34:12] To go plan a wedding for his best bud.
[00:34:16] You cannot do that.
[00:34:19] You fund.
[00:34:20] I don't know if you know this, man.
[00:34:22] They play games six out of seven days.
[00:34:24] Sometimes seven days.
[00:34:26] And we know it's during the season because they make a point of telling us.
[00:34:29] Would they have had an out to say this is February?
[00:34:31] Yes.
[00:34:32] But they don't do that.
[00:34:33] They're like, he's missing game.
[00:34:36] He's missing just two weeks.
[00:34:37] It's just more important.
[00:34:38] You will lose your job.
[00:34:40] If you miss two weeks as a hitting coach for not a family medical leave emergency, you will lose your job.
[00:34:47] You will.
[00:34:49] Period.
[00:34:49] You can't do that.
[00:34:51] It's a bad, bad excuse.
[00:34:53] And we find out that the daughter is missing school.
[00:34:57] And so that means this is some time in the year where the baseball season is happening, but summer is not happening, which means it could be the playoffs.
[00:35:07] He could be missing two weeks.
[00:35:09] He could be missing two weeks.
[00:35:09] Not with him as the batting coach.
[00:35:10] Two weeks of the playoffs to go plan a wedding.
[00:35:14] And oh, by the way, forget the baseball of it all.
[00:35:17] We're reminded multiple times he hates planning things.
[00:35:22] Can you imagine going, hey, I know you hate planning things and you're bad at it.
[00:35:26] Can you plan my wedding?
[00:35:27] I would love it if my dream is to have someone that hates planning things play my wedding.
[00:35:32] I know they'll do a good job because they hate planning things so much.
[00:35:36] But that's the love.
[00:35:38] That's to show how much he loves him, that he's willing to come over there in those two weeks of the playoffs, which audacious.
[00:35:46] I did an embarrassingly little amount planning my wedding.
[00:35:50] I'm ashamed and I wish I could go back.
[00:35:52] It was also my least favorite thing in the world to do.
[00:35:55] But even I, I think, know this one.
[00:35:58] There's two weeks out.
[00:36:00] Two weeks out, they've not picked a color scheme yet.
[00:36:05] No.
[00:36:06] There's just no world, no way, no how.
[00:36:08] There's no world where you're two weeks out and haven't decided on colors.
[00:36:13] Like forget flowers and photography and location.
[00:36:16] Especially if you're going to Greece, right?
[00:36:19] Like this isn't like a let's throw it together, let's have some fun.
[00:36:22] Let's have a destination wedding.
[00:36:24] A destination wedding.
[00:36:24] I knew.
[00:36:25] We wanted it to be an event.
[00:36:26] I knew our, the colors for our wedding before anything else from my wife.
[00:36:31] Literally before anything else.
[00:36:32] Before I knew, like literally.
[00:36:34] I cannot imagine.
[00:36:36] Before we knew where we were getting married, I knew the colors.
[00:36:38] But here's the thing.
[00:36:39] Now that you've seen that wedding, what was the color scheme?
[00:36:43] Well, I can tell you.
[00:36:45] Greece.
[00:36:46] Greece is the color scheme.
[00:36:48] Blue skies, blue water.
[00:36:49] Yeah.
[00:36:50] But they are starting to really get upset about it.
[00:36:52] And it's, it's two weeks out, man.
[00:36:54] You probably should have gone a little quicker.
[00:36:57] At the beginning of this movie, we see the backs of our three groomsmen.
[00:37:00] Unless you look with any sort of observant eye.
[00:37:03] It is the worst three body doubles you've ever seen.
[00:37:06] Look at the side of Tyler Hines face in the first scene of this movie.
[00:37:12] It's hysterical.
[00:37:13] Oh, wow.
[00:37:14] Just go and look.
[00:37:15] If you're only half looking because you know that you're just seeing the bartender,
[00:37:20] you'll never catch it.
[00:37:21] If you look closely, you're like, oh my goodness, they didn't have, they didn't have them.
[00:37:24] Tyler Hines turned into Daniel Thompson overnight.
[00:37:27] This is insane.
[00:37:28] He's 6'5 and has gained 100 pounds.
[00:37:31] Yeah.
[00:37:32] Like that, that was, that was something.
[00:37:35] Something to behold.
[00:37:36] I already covered the bachelor party.
[00:37:38] Color scheme, yes.
[00:37:40] Baseball, can't believe it.
[00:37:41] Oh, yeah.
[00:37:41] Yeah.
[00:37:42] They're letting this Greek woman plan their wedding.
[00:37:45] And he says to her, Zach says to her, the only thing that I care about at my wedding,
[00:37:51] the only thing is, is that the food be small and limited.
[00:37:57] And one, the funny bit of that is, is it's this old Greek woman who's going to cook them
[00:38:01] all this very filling Greek food.
[00:38:02] And that's hilarious.
[00:38:03] But can you imagine traveling across the world for you?
[00:38:08] Can you imagine?
[00:38:09] Just stay with me here.
[00:38:11] Your friend's like, listen, I know it's a lot, but it would mean the world to me if you
[00:38:17] were at my wedding in Greece.
[00:38:19] And I look.
[00:38:19] And when you get here.
[00:38:20] And I talk, I talk to my wife and I'm like, look, it's going to cost us three grand to go.
[00:38:23] The tux is going to cost this.
[00:38:24] The wedding gift's going to cost this.
[00:38:26] But you know what?
[00:38:27] We're going to go to Greece.
[00:38:28] And I'm going to eat some really good food.
[00:38:29] And then you get to the gosh darn wedding.
[00:38:33] And that reception is like Vienna fingers and hot dog weenies.
[00:38:41] And can you imagine?
[00:38:43] I think this is a bit spinach artichoke dip.
[00:38:47] Can you imagine?
[00:38:48] I would have turned the tables over.
[00:38:51] I would have been so angry.
[00:38:53] Like, you have one job.
[00:38:54] I want euro.
[00:38:55] I want spanakopita.
[00:38:57] I want baklava.
[00:38:58] You better hit me with the Greek food.
[00:39:01] Are you kidding me right now?
[00:39:01] Stuff some grape leaves right now.
[00:39:04] Get out of here, man.
[00:39:05] I think they might just have tapas.
[00:39:07] I think we came all the way over here.
[00:39:09] We're just getting tapas.
[00:39:10] Are those Totino's peaches?
[00:39:12] Those bagel bites?
[00:39:13] I think they went microwave and not elephant on those.
[00:39:15] We don't even get the crisp.
[00:39:17] Are you kidding me right now?
[00:39:19] Who's peeing?
[00:39:20] I can't.
[00:39:20] What are we doing?
[00:39:21] That would have been it.
[00:39:22] Friendship over.
[00:39:24] Friendship over.
[00:39:24] You feed me good Greek food, I'm good.
[00:39:26] I will literally fly across the world for your wedding.
[00:39:29] I love you.
[00:39:30] Friendship over.
[00:39:31] If you don't serve me good Greek food.
[00:39:34] That's all I got.
[00:39:35] It's time for what the whole market is where we wonder what could have been maybe having
[00:39:38] us in clear any questions that we still have, knowing full well, we might get those
[00:39:41] answers next week.
[00:39:43] Alonzo?
[00:39:43] Yeah, we did find out in this one that the doctor does move to Bulgaria, which we didn't
[00:39:50] know before.
[00:39:51] Part-time.
[00:39:51] Part-time, whatever that means.
[00:39:53] It's a part-time move.
[00:39:54] Part-time move.
[00:39:54] Whatever that means.
[00:39:56] So yeah, what I wrote down was how does the runaway bride know so much about so many
[00:39:59] conversations.
[00:40:00] But if your theory that the runaway bride is Tyler Hines's daughter is true, then that
[00:40:06] would explain it.
[00:40:06] So we'll just have to find out, I guess.
[00:40:08] And also, we're getting in the chat.
[00:40:09] Somebody said that in the first one, they say he's the assistant pitching coach, which
[00:40:13] I want to be very clear.
[00:40:15] My weight, what still stands?
[00:40:16] Why is he in the batting cage all the time?
[00:40:19] Also not his job.
[00:40:21] And also definitely couldn't miss any regular season games.
[00:40:24] Go ahead.
[00:40:25] Yeah.
[00:40:26] I mean, I guess I'm just, is our theory correct?
[00:40:29] Obviously, we'll find out.
[00:40:30] But it was such an interesting.
[00:40:32] It's so clear that she's the daughter.
[00:40:34] It was a throwaway line.
[00:40:35] She's the daughter.
[00:40:36] And I'm just like.
[00:40:37] I guarantee it.
[00:40:39] Wow.
[00:40:39] Guarantee it.
[00:40:41] Are you going to also guarantee that you're going to like the way you look?
[00:40:43] You're going to like the way you look.
[00:40:44] Wow.
[00:40:44] I'll guarantee both of those things.
[00:40:45] That is two really bold guarantees.
[00:40:48] She's the daughter.
[00:40:49] I'm going to like the way you look.
[00:40:49] I'm intrigued.
[00:40:50] But now my what the hallmark is, I wonder if we missed any lines in the first one that
[00:40:57] would lead us to further guarantee.
[00:41:00] Daniel's going to watch it again.
[00:41:02] So Dan, you and I.
[00:41:03] I will do the Lord's work here.
[00:41:05] Before number three comes out, we'll go back.
[00:41:07] We'll watch one.
[00:41:08] We'll really.
[00:41:08] I'd rather fly to Greece for fingerprints.
[00:41:12] Were you going to say something?
[00:41:13] I haven't seen it yet.
[00:41:14] So I'll watch it.
[00:41:16] Give it a go.
[00:41:16] Give it a go.
[00:41:17] I'll do that for you.
[00:41:17] I'll create a murder board.
[00:41:19] I'll create a murder board.
[00:41:20] When you guys come into the office tomorrow, which you're definitely doing.
[00:41:23] Yes.
[00:41:23] Yeah.
[00:41:24] Of course.
[00:41:24] Thank you, Aaron.
[00:41:25] For sure.
[00:41:25] Thanks, Aaron.
[00:41:26] Dan?
[00:41:26] And I will say, I can.
[00:41:28] She's the daughter.
[00:41:29] And I can also guarantee that makes.
[00:41:34] The trilogy as a whole worse, but it might make Tyler Hines movie more interesting.
[00:41:39] Because then it is a.
[00:41:41] How much of this is more.
[00:41:42] Wouldn't it be cool?
[00:41:44] If the Tyler Hines movie was just about being a good father and being like, you don't have
[00:41:47] to marry this Joker if you don't want to marry him.
[00:41:49] I think that would be a better movie than Tyler Hines falling in love.
[00:41:52] We're going to get to see Tyler Hines falling in love.
[00:41:54] Tyler is definitely going to fall in love.
[00:41:55] But I think.
[00:41:56] So wait.
[00:41:57] There's no way they're doing a movie without Tyler Hines grabbing someone's face.
[00:42:00] You know what I mean?
[00:42:00] Yeah.
[00:42:00] Because he grabs someone's face.
[00:42:02] It's in his contract.
[00:42:03] I get it.
[00:42:03] But also, wouldn't it be.
[00:42:05] What a move.
[00:42:05] He's the youngest of those three.
[00:42:07] Bennett.
[00:42:07] I looked it up.
[00:42:08] Bennett and Britt are both like older than me.
[00:42:09] Like 42, 34-ish.
[00:42:11] He's like 37, 38.
[00:42:13] But for him to be this like.
[00:42:14] I don't know how you do that.
[00:42:15] He's sweeping somebody off their feet.
[00:42:17] But also, if they do that, you're going to have to make Tyler Hines look like he's almost 50.
[00:42:23] Well, yeah.
[00:42:23] I'd say if it's 10.
[00:42:24] It's going to be what?
[00:42:25] 10 years later.
[00:42:26] At minimum.
[00:42:26] To age the daughter up to be of bridal age.
[00:42:29] Yeah.
[00:42:29] He's 13 in the first one.
[00:42:31] You know, and actually, now that we know that.
[00:42:33] So 10 to 12 years.
[00:42:34] You being his body double might actually make a little bit more sense.
[00:42:37] It's 10 years.
[00:42:38] Things got away from me.
[00:42:39] I didn't see any gray hair from those three body doubles.
[00:42:42] Not at all.
[00:42:43] You look like an older Tyler Hines.
[00:42:46] No, no.
[00:42:46] I get that all the time.
[00:42:48] So similar.
[00:42:49] So similar.
[00:42:50] Yeah.
[00:42:50] We never went to the KG gym.
[00:42:52] That's right.
[00:42:52] I didn't go to the KG gym at all.
[00:42:54] It's embarrassing.
[00:42:55] I'm pumping all those KGs.
[00:42:57] Yeah.
[00:42:57] Yeah.
[00:42:57] I, yeah.
[00:42:58] Just like.
[00:42:59] It's a different name for like, man, I had, I put up a ton of kilos this weekend.
[00:43:05] Rod, you even KG.
[00:43:07] Come on.
[00:43:08] The daughter in this movie.
[00:43:09] KG tan laundry.
[00:43:10] I've said it for years.
[00:43:12] That's funny.
[00:43:14] All I have to say, the daughter in this movie is just, she's too cool not to, not to be.
[00:43:18] Yeah.
[00:43:18] Have a bigger part.
[00:43:19] Yeah.
[00:43:19] She's a cool, cool kid.
[00:43:21] She's a cool kid.
[00:43:21] She's a cool kid.
[00:43:22] She's a cool kid.
[00:43:23] All right.
[00:43:24] We did it.
[00:43:24] We did it.
[00:43:25] Hey, we're going to watch Christmas movies tomorrow.
[00:43:27] Everybody.
[00:43:28] We're going to, we're going to do this crazy thing where we cover Christmas movies.
[00:43:34] Ridiculous.
[00:43:35] We'll be back tomorrow with that until then.
[00:43:36] We're the first to wish you a Merry Christmas.
