Yeah So this is kind of like that It's kind of like that Yeah It's kind of like that Definitely All right, let's dive in, Patrick Okay, okay So the movie starts out, we said, you know, it's like a home safety thing So we get this technology, it's called Safian technology Like Safi in my house

No It's not important No, it's Safian Yeah

Oh man, so many good ones Not really, they all sound the same Back to you, Patrick Get out of here They do, they do So the movie shows us like all that this cool technology is capable of And that basically means it's a camera set up in like every room and it's just monitoring the rooms Yeah It can turn on the fireplace Sure Remotely Yep And it shows up in like mirrors

[00:09:50] So when you walk by a mirror, it will tell you like your blood pressure and your stats Yeah Out loud It's like a lot of tech that all like does exist, right? Like there are mirrors that do stuff like this and there are things like that change the colors and whatnot All that tech that, but this is all in one system that is like, you know, AI powered So it's like a system that is watching and learning and hopefully helping you

[00:10:20] In theory that I think is the pitch of the Safian Safian Yes And the voice of Safian is Mira Sorvino Got it Noted voice actor So she noted voice actor Academy Award winner Mira Servino, of course Yes, of course Yeah, it makes total sense Yeah, she went to the booth for one day and got a check I get it Yep. She's like, oh, Ramone Yeah, exactly Ramone Yeah

[00:10:47] But it's like if she like wakes you up like very calm like a calm voice like maybe your mom used to It's like, hey, it's time to wake up, sweetie. Bye. And then like if you don't wake up, it's like, hey, it's like something like that. Gotcha. Oh, yeah. So we have our creator. His name is Daniel. He made the tech. Hey, look at that I know. I was like, uh oh, we got a Daniel What wrote Had to call him Daniel because we can't call him Dan. It will get too confusing Too confusing

[00:11:17] Dang, Daniel, you and your cool home tech Wow, that was a throwback Really good stuff I only know the newest and latest video Right. All the trends What are those? Oh, boy. Haven't thought about him in a while. I hope he's doing well Yeah, I think we all do

[00:11:40] I hope he's doing well too Got it. That's more than one defining characteristic Yeah, and is like annoyed by Safian Like whatever Safian talks to her, she's like, oh, just not now Like, shut it down Yeah Like, why are you always talking to me?

[00:12:09] So it's kind of annoyed at this tech Yeah, yeah So big, big possibility for big booms Big doings Big doings Yeah, they're looking for investors Yeah They're getting ready for like the big pitch And uh, Anna cooks dinner for the pitch

[00:12:36] So we can learn more about this, um, Safian technology That we haven't learned from the first like few minutes of just the demonstration of turning on the fireplace And, um, Daniel, his big pitch is that it will scan your face like when you come into the room And it will check all the internet, criminal history, every history, social media, and determine your current threat level I don't love this Yeah Yeah, right?

[00:13:06] So like somebody comes to your door, it'll scan you and it'll be like threat level, uh, let's say 50% And then you can decide how you want to proceed How With that individual That is terrifying and incredibly inappropriate Yeah Uh, yeah, super invasive Yeah One of the investors, he gets in 8% But then he also has a podcast and I was like, oh no Uh-huh What did he say on the pod? What did he say on the pod?

[00:13:35] This is what's going to happen to me when I, uh, AI goes back and scrubs my wine episodes Dude, the, um I was so confused by this investor guy Cause, and what, like, what the points of bringing him in Cause this guy sits down And this is, this is a, this is a, uh, a black guy Okay? Mm-hmm Tech, podcaster And then, uh, Safian proceeds to scan and tell everybody about this guy

[00:14:03] And it's like, this guy has been seen with far rights, white supremacists And he's like, it was one time And it's like, proceeds to like do stuff like that And I'm like, what is this? And then we don't get anything more about this very confusing, complex character Never comes back Never comes back Very fascinated by this guy But we don't get anything about it And that's it? That's it Okay It's like, we're gonna bring up race and the KKK But never talk about it

[00:14:32] It's just like a fun little joke He loves And he's like, I mean, sometimes Don't we all? Right? I'm like, oh, this guy's definitely gonna come back and be pivotal to the plot I wrote down his full name I like did like the whole thing Wrote down his wife's name Yeah, his wife also didn't seem to know anything about this Like He just never comes back He never comes back But Safian's like, he might be a part of the Klan

[00:15:01] And he's like, no And she's like, no, let Safian cook Like she's all in on like wanting to like hear about Her husband's deepest darkest secrets And then it doesn't matter at all He better a lifetime Doesn't matter at all Yeah Maybe it's in the longer cuts That was originally part of Sure Whatever the name of the movie is Cut for time Their storylines cut for time Yeah It's okay if that happens But you know, you gotta keep your digital footprint clean And the word gets out about this kind of scrubbing of the internet And the criminal history

[00:15:30] And Daniel is not doing like great in public interviews There's like some segments about him like in an interview And he's He tells the story The guy that created Smart House Not a good interviewer Get out of town Yeah, well, and he tries to be like, listen This is like my mom was like murdered or whatever Which is why I created this Like if there was a way for me to know Like whether or not somebody is safe Before they come into my house Then maybe my mom would still be alive It's like his

[00:17:28] Yes, I saw it coming But there is another twist in this movie that I did not see Okay, all right, great Okay, great Well, you know Lifetime loves to throw in a bunch of twists at the very end Yes Like the last three minutes But not bringing back the detective Not that one That was the twist Is he doesn't matter Right, exactly They tricked you This movie introduced a black Klansman literally And did nothing with it True, true It was just a fun

[00:17:54] A fun thing this movie decided to throw out there Man, it's Oh my Doesn't matter It doesn't matter It doesn't matter It doesn't matter because we've got to focus on Anna Of course And her job You know, she She is running the newspaper business into the ground She can't keep up with the stories She's running the newspaper business in the ground? Yes, single handedly response She's not put on probation She's got six months to turn around the newspaper Or she's fired

[00:18:22] Yeah, and there's this guy that she works with What's that dude's name? I think his name is Robert maybe Something like that And I've got to be honest with you For like half the movie I was like She works with her husband? I thought she was a journalist I just like could not tell these I could not tell these two guys apart I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem with it But as somebody with facial blindness Yeah, it was tough for you I could not tell the difference between these two men Very similar looking guys Just go look at the IMDB cast and see if I can You know Sorry Back to you

[00:18:53] Yeah, so As she's getting the news that she's gonna lose her job She throws up Which in lifetime means you're pregnant Right So She's thrilled to be pregnant Daniel is less so thrilled Yeah, but it's like you know I just give me This was news to me Give me time You know I'm sure I'll warm up to it Type of deal Right? It's just a lot going on This guy's trying to push Safian live Was not planning on baby So

[00:19:22] Wasn't planning on baby You know I'm sure he'll warm up to the idea And won't do anything rash No Totally And they plan like a six month Like work for six months Have the baby Then like raise the baby And live happily ever after Right Cause he'll sell the business And they'll be set That's what he says It's like once Once I'm able to get this You know Out there or whatever Then I will be able to Be basically be done in six months

[00:19:51] So like we'll just be able to raise baby together No problem Great Yeah Awesome Yeah Except for the fact that Anna is like a geriatric pregnancy So she's got a lot of like preeclampsia going on And you know It's just not good So she has to hire an assistant There's a lady who's been sitting outside of her office Every day for like the past month Or maybe two months Waiting for a job And every day Anna's like I don't have a job for you Go away

[00:20:21] And the lady says Okay I'll be back tomorrow See ya And her persistence Her persistence Persistency paid off Okay Yeah Because she needs She needs an assistant Why not let You know The person who's been sitting out in my lobby Every day for the past two months What could go wrong? [00:24:19] They don't get along And our guy Daniel Sees His wife And Rebecca Approaching the house And Kira Our Our home Can't Cannot Figure out who this person is Scans her face Yeah It's like don't know her Can't find her And so Daniel Daniel is a bit like Hmm Interesting I'm gonna need to do I'm gonna need to do Some background checks here And try to figure out

[00:27:47] So she's going to be staying With Anna and Daniel Much to Daniel's chagrin here Because Daniel can't scan her Doesn't know who this person is Doesn't know And then we see Rebecca Like settling in her room And she is straight up Putting in HTML code She is doing computer stuff HTML code shout out That's right She is trying to get Into the system To try to figure out

[00:29:15] Have a More finesse Than this Yeah Because Rebecca's Not falling for it She's not falling for it No Nor should she She's like I'm from everywhere I moved around a lot Nailed it Yeah Aren't we all Just vagabonds Amen Amen They are Strangers in a strange land Absolutely You get it So Daniel has to go out of town For the The big Big pitch Meeting Big investing time Yes

[00:29:45] Leaving Anna Home alone With this unresearched Person Very dangerous And You know Anna's still pregnant She needs to have No stress in her life Yeah But She's been getting sick She's been getting sick Yeah But it's It's probably just like You know Like morning sickness It's like she's getting She's pregnant Normal Pregnancy stuff You think But You think It's not just that It's actually It seems to be pretty serious

[00:30:15] Because at one point There's blood involved And she has to go to The hospital Oh my goodness Mm-hmm Yeah And the doctor's like Oh Your folic acid Is like crazy high That Like Makes me think That something's going on And like He doesn't really say She's being poisoned But Kind of implies Yeah This is not normal There's something going on here We gotta keep an eye on that

[00:30:45] Make sure you're just like Keeping an eye on like What you're eating And whatnot Got it Yeah Yeah So Daniel comes back After his meeting With the CEO company thing And he's like Okay So I signed a two-year contract To be like The CEO of the company And I'm just gonna run it For a little while And then We'll make all the money I thought he was gonna be out At six months I thought he was gonna get his check and go You know what Anna has the same exact Thought Unbelievable Daniel Thoughts Come on Yes

[00:31:15] That's exactly right She's like You said six months And he's like Well Listen It's two years Okay You will In a year and a half It's gonna go by so fast No big deal Just chill Right But no She is This is too much trust for her You know And she can't handle it But The reporter is still looking into Rebecca Let's not forget Right So he's out here

[00:35:10] Not really Erica Erica Erica That Erica was in foster care So she calls Her Uh You know Foster care Officer Or whatever Um Yeah That was like In charge of her case And placements And what not And The Person on the phone Is like Oh That's interesting That you're calling Because Your Last name Is like

[00:35:39] Basically Connects the fact That Erica Is the Stepsister Of Daniel Daniel All right Uh huh Okay Yeah Pretty I did not see That one coming Got it That's the twist That I was like Oh That's interesting That those two Are related And then I'm Throwing all around Right Because I'm like Well Like I did feel Like it was pretty Obvious that the Husband was the Bad guy here But this does Seem pretty Yep Mischievous I got you Yeah Okay All right

[00:36:09] Definitely Definitely And you know Like Wouldn't he recognize His sister You would think so You would think so You would think so She got highlights Or something He didn't He doesn't recognize her They were young They were young Yeah You know Anna knows What's up Anna Daniel comes home And Anna's like Okay I'm gonna confront him And tell him I know what's going on And he's like But Before you do that Yeah I bought a boat Oh right

[00:38:08] Like Erica Was his step Sister But he like She reminded him Of His mom And so like Didn't want anything to do With her And Was a whole That was a whole thing Like that's why he doesn't Really remember her Because she He only knew her As a kid And Then didn't have anything To do with her Right And he has secretly Been giving Anna Methotrexate Which is A Like Cell killer That they give For cancer patients

[00:41:06] With a work plaque That he got Which is like Poetic justice Because his award Was his downfall Oh I see That's exactly right Wow It fast forwards To the future Anna has baby Baby's fine And it does seem like Her work husband Is alive and well Because he's like Pushing her with the wheelchair Maybe he's going to be Baby daddy now Okay I don't know Yeah I think so Since they're interchangeable Yeah They look the same But one's not a killer That we know of

[00:41:36] Right We like that Yeah And Rebecca Erica's like She comes by Just to say hi to the baby And she's like I'm going to go back to college And Anna's like You probably don't need college Because you hacked into A state of the art Yeah You're probably You're probably You're probably You're fine And then Daniel Is like He's in a wheelchair And has like Buttons that he can press Because I guess The hit to the head Really messed him up And it's like
