[00:00:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Hi, I'm Bran, nothing matters. And I love Jane Mysteries. I'm Brian, big old birds matter. I like Jane Mysteries. I'm Dan, I despise Jane Mysteries and Bran will run for beer and this is Deck The Hallmark Podcast.

[00:00:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Deck The Hallmark, it's his podcast. There he goes. There he goes.

[00:00:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Deck The Hallmark Podcast. He's off. Break a break on night. Oh man. Hello everybody. Welcome back. We're having a good time. We're Michael Hallmark. There it is. Still no power. Still got a green screen now.

[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Deck The Hallmark Podcast. Sure it is. That's a green screen? We didn't bring that? No, that's a globe. He hand painted it. It's beautiful. It's beautiful. Took all day.

[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Bran, taking a strong stance on running and beer this week. On filo.tv. I gotta say a lot of people don't know this about me. I won't run for food. I won't run for a good cause. I will run for beer.

[00:01:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Would you run for climate control? No. Would you run for president? Wow. No. I'll run for beer. And that's it. Wow. Man. I got the shirt to prove it. You sure do.

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I hope everybody's doing well today. Is this it? Is today Friday? Is that what day this is coming out? It could be. I think so. Who knows and who cares as well? It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_01]: What is this is? No. Cause we were supposed to do. Dan Bay was supposed to be released Wednesday. So we're going to release it Thursday. And then this was supposed to be Thursday. So we're going to release it Friday. Is that right? We have a business. Possibly. Okay. Producer says yes. So it's Friday. Happy Friday. Hey. Friday everybody. How was the power last night? It's going great. Now a lot of people might be wondering about the chicken sisters. Are the chicken sisters happening this week? No. The chicken sisters aren't happening. Unfortunately, no chicken of the week. No chicken sisters.

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_01]: So we will do our best to double up on chicken sisters. Um, so listen, so what, something had to fall, uh, some domino somewhere had to fall. We've got no power. Our pets heads are falling off. Uh, that's a, that's a quote from dumb and dumber that brand never gets. And he always looks very confused. Every time I say it, uh, we got no power. We're recording at Brian's house because he's got power and he only lets us in here to record. He's actually said, we can't.

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_01]: We can never be here if we're not recording. That's it. And he's one occasion. He actually spits on us on the way out. Yeah. I'll kick you right out. Look at you guys without your power. Who do you think you are? Go back. Your ability to spit and always somehow find a tin can in the distance. It's crazy. No matter how long it takes to film every time. You gotta have one nearby. That's a long spit too. Not a quick one. Here's one.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that was really long. That was weird. I mean a little bit spread out a little bit. Yeah. You lost a little. Hold on. Let me. Whoa. Brand new bucket. Fastball. He's throwing fastballs out here. Guys, back up. Back up. Yeah. Give me space. Give me space. Don't ship pants on that one. You hit something. I don't know. I'm not good. Oh, you're the one that does it. Do it. Do it. Yeah.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Wow. Wow. Wow. That's where we're at. This is fun. This is a good time. We're all doing well. We're all doing well. Yeah. We're all doing well. We're fine. Everything's fine. It's fine. It's a week without power. We're fine. We're fine. Everything is definitely fine. It's fine. It's 80 degrees. It's so humid. I'm taking a cold shower to go to bed. You know, we, uh, I had to take a cold shower after this J Mystery because even czar's out there with a shirt off. Dude.

[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh. Steven czar. What was that about? This guy. What was that about? Man. In one of the weirder shirt off scenes in recent or distant memory. It was like it was in the contract. Like we're up against it. We got to get this in here. Because typically when you have one of those, we'll talk about when we get there. Yeah. Typically when you have one of those things that separates you from the other person. A partition. A partition we'll call it. It's supposed to partage you. Yeah. Partage you. He didn't partage you. No, he didn't. He didn't. He partook. Yeah. He partook. He didn't partake.

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Partage you. Partook. He imparted upon the partition. You can't, you can't do that. No, you can't do that. Why, why, why, why partake? Uh, we're jumping in. We've jumped in too soon, everybody. Um, let's talk about a Jane Mystery. Too much to lose. I got too much to lose. T-O-O. Much. T-O. Lose. Yeah. Breaker Breaker 1-9. Big old bird. Big old bird. Big old bird.

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Big old bird. Uh, again, I don't know when it came out. Probably the 26th. I believe the same day as the other one. Sure. Um, and it went a little something like this. Uh, the movie kicks off with, uh, Jane singing. It's a double. It's crazy. I told you. Bounce off the side. I told you he's good. Yeah, that happens sometimes. I told you he's good. Uh, the movie kicks off with Jane singing, but this time with ukulele. Yeah. Uh-huh. It's fresh. It's new. We'll definitely see that. It's Jane Mystery. Um,

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_01]: she is rehearsing for a charity gala, gala, whatever you want to call it. Um, a reporter. It's a gala apples there. It's a gala for gala apples. Oh, what a confusing. Yeah. We went to the gala. We hosted the gala gala. Yeah, we did. It was a mess out there. Yeah. This is Bran wiping his head going, I'm tired. I'm hot and sweaty. I don't want to do this. No, no, no. That's right. We didn't see the gala gala and you were over here acting like you're too good to talk about. It wasn't my best moment.

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: It was. I brought a lot of gala themed jokes that I expected. And they didn't like it. Very serious about their apples. And it wasn't about them. That's right. Like, it's not personal. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's, you know, it was like a roast. Yeah. And they didn't like it. You said the Granny Smith joke. Granny Smith, who was there, got. All right. RIP, obviously. RIP, obviously. Yeah. It's a shame what happened to her. Yeah. Pancakes. We said we were going to bring it up. Well, the way.

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_00]: You have to. Yeah. Yeah. Would you bring up. She still has people in her family. I know, but the way. I have to hear about this. Pancakes. Apple pancakes. Have it over breakfast. A reporter comes. Obviously. A reporter comes to talk to her about, you know, she's thinking that it's going to be about the gala. But it's actually about like, hey, are you actually like good at solving the mysteries? And she's like, yeah, I guess.

[00:06:56] [SPEAKER_00]: And Jay's like, what's this about? You're supposed to be asking me about the gala. You're asking me about mysteries. And she's like, okay, here's the rub where the rubber meets the road.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I need help finding a missing journalist, a fellow journalist named Irene.

[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Toby Beck has a song called Irene.

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_00]: That you're missing.

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Not as good as that one.

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_00]: No. Come on, Irene.

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's a great one.

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Irene exposes a lot of bad people.

[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_00]: And so she's worried that her friend Irene is in trouble.

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And also, fun fact, this, I don't know if this is important at all.

[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Irene just won $100,000 on TV.

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And again, you can do it that way you want to.

[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_00]: The way it's thrown in, you'd think it doesn't matter.

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_00]: You would think so.

[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Apparently she beat the defending champion, Edgar, who lost $300,000.

[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Which, dude, I don't know.

[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_01]: The math checks out.

[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_01]: You could stop the movie right now, maybe six minutes in, and we'd have enough weight once

[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_01]: to call it.

[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_00]: To call it.

[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Mr. Sam.

[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_00]: If you win, you get $100,000.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_00]: But if you're defending...

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_00]: If you return, you could lose it all.

[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_00]: You could lose it all.

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Why are you returning?

[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_00]: That's my assumption.

[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Why are you returning?

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_00]: You should.

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Why would you ever go back?

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Ever.

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_01]: You got $300,000.

[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_01]: You're throwing that all on.

[00:08:16] [SPEAKER_00]: But also, does that mean that Edgar just won three times?

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a great question, Brian.

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_00]: They say he's been on $10,000.

[00:08:22] [SPEAKER_01]: So $30,000 each time.

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_01]: But she won $100,000.

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_01]: On one time.

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_01]: On one time.

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't seem fair.

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_01]: It was a steal.

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_01]: It was...

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Stop the steal.

[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Stop the steal.

[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you got to stop the steal.

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_00]: That's where it came from.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people think that it didn't.

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_00]: It did.

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_00]: John Woods, again, believes that the police are doing their jobs.

[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_00]: They are going to look into this and trust the police.

[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Margaret and Jane...

[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Dude, this is where the police are going to...

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Admiral, this is where the police clearly are going to get their comeuppance.

[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_01]: They are.

[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_01]: You said it from the beginning.

[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I said it.

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're going to...

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_01]: This is where they're going to pay.

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_01]: They are.

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_01]: For interrogating and holding a kid against his will, treating him like he's not a minor,

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_01]: and forcing a confession.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, they're going to get to it here.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_01]: They're going to get to it.

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_01]: This is it.

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_01]: This is it.

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Worth the wait.

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Margaret and Jane go off to Irene's apartment to see if anything is off, and they're shocked

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_00]: to find Irene's aunt...

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_00]: No, Irene's nephew, Craig.

[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Craig is...

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Craig's aunt is Irene.

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_00]: He promises that he's...

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_01]: She was.

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_00]: She's like, listen, I'm just...

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know that yet, first of all.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Stop that steal.

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_00]: So, Craig is like, listen, I promise I am just here because I just want to find my aunt.

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And so they find a note from Edgar that says something like, you're dead to me, which is

[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_00]: a tough thing to send to somebody when they're missing.

[00:09:53] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a tough find, for sure.

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_01]: After you just lost your $300,000 to give them $100,000, yeah.

[00:09:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's a tough note.

[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not a good look.

[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not a good...

[00:10:01] [SPEAKER_01]: That letter's a...

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a bad letter to send.

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Is the pun show a prince somewhere that has sent an email?

[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, what is the show?

[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_01]: If you send me your $300,000, you'll get $100,000.

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Whoever made the game up is sitting in a room with a cigar laughing.

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I know that much.

[00:10:20] [SPEAKER_01]: This guy's coming back for more.

[00:10:22] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got $300,000.

[00:10:23] [SPEAKER_01]: He's about to lose it all.

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't know what's about to happen to him.

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody else is going to win 101 episodes.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's 200 for me.

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.

[00:10:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Stop the steal.

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Naturally, Jane thinks that John should talk to Edgar.

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_00]: And so he comes in and he does not think very highly of being asked these questions.

[00:10:41] [SPEAKER_00]: But then Jane walks in and is like, oh my gosh, you're the guy who won 10 times for $300,000.

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_00]: You're phenomenal.

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_00]: We love you.

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_00]: You're amazing.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And he says that he thinks that the game was rigged.

[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Got to be honest with you.

[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I kind of agree with him.

[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Just based off of what I know.

[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Tell me about the All-Stars tournament, though.

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_00]: So he says there's an All-Star tournament that he is going to get to be a part of.

[00:11:06] [SPEAKER_00]: He's featured.

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Why would he want to be, though?

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_00]: So he could lose some of his own money on his account.

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_00]: If you give us some money, then you could be an All-Star.

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, now you're an All-Star.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Give us money.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Go.

[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Lose.

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's what he thinks.

[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So later, someone tags Jane on social media and says that Irene got what she had coming,

[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_00]: and Jane will too.

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's an anonymous account.

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Who could it be?

[00:11:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Who could it be?

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Not Jane is wrong.

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_00]: We did get to see Azar with our shirt on.

[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I talked about that already, but boy, that's the main takeaway from this movie.

[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Craig gets a text from Irene saying that she is safe, but laying low.

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, an autocorrect here is really funny.

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a curse word, and it's a profane.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a profane.

[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_00]: It's propane.

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_00]: He's like, she never calls me Craig.

[00:12:01] [SPEAKER_00]: She always calls me Curly.

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Something must be wrong.

[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And so also apparently she turned the phone tracker on her phone, which you would never

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_00]: do.

[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_00]: She's an investigative journalist.

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to know where I am.

[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's at the TV studio.

[00:12:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So she sneaks in.

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Jane does to try to find where she's at.

[00:12:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Can't find her.

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_00]: She gets kicked out.

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_00]: All of a sudden, the police show up, and they start digging around literally in the dumpster,

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_00]: and they find a body.

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And it is Irene.

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Jane is there, and this other reporter shows up, and it's like, you know who I am.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_00]: You are.

[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yo, did you all know her?

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, great.

[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_02]: She popped into the office, Irene's office, at one point?

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_01]: She looked familiar, like I'd seen her before, but she wasn't a major player in my opinion.

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_00]: So she's like, hey, if you play ball with me, I'll play ball with you.

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_00]: We can give scoops and stuff.

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_00]: And Jane's like, trade scoops.

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_00]: And John's like, no.

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_00]: No, John's like, maybe she could be helpful.

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_00]: That's the big thing you need to know, though, about her.

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_00]: She's not going to be important at all.

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: And so Jane is able to hack into Irene's laptop thanks to Parrot.

[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Parrot.

[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Parrot, obviously.

[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to Parrot.

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to Parrot.

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for coming.

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Who does get a credit on IMDb.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Parrot gets a credit.

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Parrot gets a credit.

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_00]: As he should.

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_00]: You look up Parrot.

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's give the Parrot a shout out, first of all.

[00:13:30] [SPEAKER_00]: The name of the Parrot.

[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Larry, the Parrot.

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Parrot gets a credit.

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And discovers that she was investigating somebody who was stealing money from charities.

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, oh my gosh, this is crazy.

[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Do we think that it was Irene?

[00:13:43] [SPEAKER_00]: What?

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Could Irene be the person?

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_00]: She's such a good heart.

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_00]: She has such a good heart.

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_00]: A great heart.

[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_00]: That's Perry the Parrot.

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Perry the Parrot.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the name.

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.

[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_01]: The actor's name is Kiwi the Cockatiel.

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a cool name.

[00:13:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Kiwi the Cockatiel.

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Tip of the hat to Kiwi.

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Kiwi.

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Good job.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_00]: So they were able to track down and figure out that the woman that we didn't know was important

[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_00]: was important and that she was the person who was doing the charity scam.

[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Scam.

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And so Jane goes and confronts her.

[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And once again, Jane's ability to immediately get somebody to confess to what they do and

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_00]: pull out a gun.

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_00]: It's unbelievable.

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Second to none.

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Second to none.

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_00]: She's able to do it.

[00:14:28] [SPEAKER_00]: And luckily, John, per usual, right around the corner, we're good to go.

[00:14:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't have to worry about her.

[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_00]: She gets arrested.

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And then John and Jane, they go and they dress up and they look nice.

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And I thought they were going to kiss.

[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Did you watch this movie through a screen door?

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_01]: What?

[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_01]: What am I missing?

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't mean like it's just the details are very foggy.

[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I stopped writing.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Got it.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I got it.

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Got it.

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I stopped writing after investigating someone who was stealing money from charities.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Great.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Did I miss any?

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Then they're going to go on a third date, right?

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_01]: They're going to go on a third date, yeah.

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_00]: And then they're going to maybe they'll kiss then.

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_00]: And that, my friends, was the Jane Mysteries.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Too much to lose.

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_01]: We did it.

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_01]: We did it.

[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Again, he was shirtless.

[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_01]: He was shirtless.

[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_01]: There was a partition.

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_01]: He did not partake of the partition.

[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_01]: He said, I will not partake.

[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_01]: He was impartial towards it, but did not partake.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_01]: No, he didn't.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he partook in it in so far until it didn't matter.

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_00]: But primarily did not partake.

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_00]: He partook in it until he needed to.

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_00]: And then when it became necessary to partake, he did not.

[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_00]: He did not partake.

[00:15:36] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Here's what should be partaking.

[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_01]: We're never mad about seeing Stephen Hazard shirtless.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Never.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_01]: But there are so many better ways to make that happen.

[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Imagine going behind a partition and getting naked and going, it's done its job now.

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't want to see me take my shirt off.

[00:15:54] [SPEAKER_01]: You want to see it as a result.

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_01]: You want to see me after I've taken my shirt.

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_01]: He goes behind there, takes his shirt off, then walks back out.

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_01]: What are you doing?

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_01]: It's done its job.

[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_00]: We've done our job.

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to take a quick break.

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to come back.

[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to finish it.

[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to finish our job.

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Deck the Hallmark.

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Deck the Hallmark.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, we'll finish this part.

[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_00]: We're back.

[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Hello, everybody.

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Welcome back to Deck the Hallmark.

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_00]: We are not behind any partition.

[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_00]: We actually couldn't be more exposed.

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Here's my leg.

[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_00]: You're running for beer.

[00:16:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm running for beer.

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm having a good time.

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_00]: We're recording at night again.

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_00]: You do great at this.

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm in the studio.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I love being up late at night.

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm never at my highest than I am.

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Did you just eat a fried chicken lunch?

[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_02]: This is like lunchtime, Brian.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You guys think I'm never at my highest at night.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's break it down.

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to start with the hot take.

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_00]: It's where we share exactly how we felt about this movie.

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_00]: We do not hold back.

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to start with you, Brian.

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Brian, third Jane mystery in so many weeks.

[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_00]: What did you think about this one?

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Someone did shrink Stephen Hiddler's shirts again.

[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Just so.

[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Continually getting tighter.

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:17:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Just so tight.

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And they just look so good on him.

[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_02]: They're kind of like ugly patterns and ugly shirts, but they just look so good.

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the type of thing you're like, I put that on, I look like trash.

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:17:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I could not.

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_02]: We wouldn't say it, but yeah, we'd all be thinking.

[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I would know it.

[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I would feel it.

[00:17:25] [SPEAKER_02]: The guy just phenomenal in clothes.

[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_02]: This one just phenomenal.

[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Phenomenal in clothes.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_02]: And we found out outside of clothes.

[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Phenomenal outside of clothes.

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_00]: When you come around the part, it doesn't matter if you're in them or out of them.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_02]: This one, this movie, and I got a sweet tooth.

[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_02]: We all know this about me.

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you got a sweet tooth.

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_02]: This one didn't hold my attention.

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I was not super into this one, unfortunately.

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like there were so many holes.

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Why does that have to do with the sweet tooth?

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm just bummed out that I was.

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, sorry.

[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I forgot.

[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_02]: You really are at your higher risk.

[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You're not at your higher risk.

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You say it every episode.

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: We got to believe him one of these times.

[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_01]: So sorry.

[00:17:56] [SPEAKER_01]: He's not at his higher risk.

[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Graney Smith all over again.

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_00]: And here's the thing.

[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Pancake.

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think it was my fault.

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_00]: You don't think so?

[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think.

[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how it could be possibly my fault, but they've tried to blame me.

[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think legally, that's probably all you can say.

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_00]: That's all you can say.

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_00]: In this portion.

[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_00]: It happened 10 days after the Gala Gala.

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how I could be.

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_02]: You're not thin ice here.

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how I could be.

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how I could be willing for it.

[00:18:26] [SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't even in the state of mind.

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Last time you said, why isn't she working on the dozens, maybe hundreds of cold cases?

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And it continues.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And it was just in my mind the whole time.

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And I just got really annoyed that she is just taking on any person who walks in the door versus what she's supposed to be doing.

[00:18:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like the setup of the original movie didn't matter.

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Like they sort, they set this and now they don't, and they set up a lot.

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_02]: They set up the, the biggest thing, the thing I, I'll let you, I hope you go off on at some point here.

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_02]: The mother, the, the, her mother, her mother, right?

[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Her mother's death in the car crash.

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Not a word.

[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_02]: They didn't talk about it.

[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Not a peep.

[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Holy cow.

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, I was ready.

[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Like I want some resolution on this and not a word.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_02]: And so it's like they set up these big things that could carry throughout, be through lines and they just don't use them.

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_02]: They just like, we won't know.

[00:19:25] [SPEAKER_02]: We want these to stand alone.

[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_02]: We're going to drop this huge thing that we could stretch across multiple movies and just, no, we want these to stand alone.

[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Forget it.

[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's kind of annoying if you're trying to follow along through all the movies and you have these things that could pay off and just vaporize like Granny Smith.

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_02]: So, and a lot of stuff in this didn't even come through.

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_02]: The whole pun hero TV show, Chet, this guy, I'm like, they didn't introduce a guy like Chet to not make him the killer, right?

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Or something.

[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_02]: To make him something.

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Have him doing something.

[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing with Chet.

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing with Chet.

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Would have been great.

[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_02]: So, just really kind of bummed out about a lot of stuff that feel like could have used for big payoffs that would have been fun.

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Didn't happen.

[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Yep.

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I agree 100% with you.

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Bad murder, bad mystery, all of that.

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_00]: The frustration with not building to anything.

[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_00]: It just seems like we are, instead of building up, we're just building out.

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_00]: And that doesn't do much.

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't help you get.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Unless you're really long.

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, of course.

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Unless you're building a bed for something like Roger the Giant.

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_00]: You could build a bed better.

[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_00]: You could build a, you could, we're not, but I don't want to build a bed for Roger the Giant.

[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to build a wall.

[00:20:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to build up.

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to, yes, I want it for like him to be able to lean up against, not lay horizontally.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's what I, thank you, and that's what I feel like is happening in these movies.

[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_00]: It feels like we have.

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Quick, what's the opposite of horizontal?

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Vertical.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.

[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Man.

[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_00]: You are, it might be your highest, highest.

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Higher, for sure.

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, man.

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.

[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_01]: That's pretty good.

[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody run, get him a beer.

[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_00]: How about this?

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Quadrilateral.

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Whoa.

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_00]: He's fooling us.

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I know.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You're trying to fool him over.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a big fool.

[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I'm a big fool watching this because I have gone to bat for these movies.

[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I've gone to bat for, they're going to try to tell this story about the police.

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Clearly, I was wrong about that.

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_00]: They're going to do something with the mom being dead.

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_00]: That, you know, last time I thought that they had all the perfect things to have some sort

[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_00]: of closure.

[00:21:27] [SPEAKER_00]: And they were like, no, we're not going to do that.

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Forget that.

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to save it for next time.

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_00]: No, they didn't save anything for this time.

[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And again, you can't just keep letting people willy-nilly decide what case you're going to

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_00]: work on.

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_00]: There has to be some sort of, listen, we are not administratively focused here at the company.

[00:21:42] [SPEAKER_00]: But dadgummit, if we were running this, it would be at least, there would be some sort

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_00]: of order.

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_00]: We're clear.

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_00]: There's no order.

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_00]: There's no order.

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I understand it's hard to have somebody come in and look you in the eye and be like, someone

[00:21:55] [SPEAKER_00]: is missing and I think that you can do it.

[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_00]: But you know what?

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_00]: How about the people in the box?

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_00]: How about that?

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Who's thinking about the people in the box?

[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Who's thinking about the people in the box?

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Because you know what?

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Those are real people too.

[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_00]: They're not just names on paper that are inside of a box that haven't been opened in years.

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_01]: They're people in the box.

[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_00]: They're people in the box.

[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_00]: You got to think about them.

[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_00]: We haven't thought about them in many, many times that we've done Jane Mysteries and I'm

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_00]: sick of it.

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sick of it.

[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sick of this because we have the makings of something special.

[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_00]: We've got Jane.

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_00]: We've got John.

[00:22:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Two great characters.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_00]: We've got Jane's aunt.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_00]: We've got a fun long-term mystery.

[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_01]: We've got a box full of cold cases.

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Boxes of cold cases.

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_00]: We've got, yes, we've got a lot.

[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And at the same time, we've got nothing.

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Hard for me to put a much finer point on it than these two already did, but I'm going

[00:22:45] [SPEAKER_01]: to try.

[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_01]: This movie flat out sucks.

[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_01]: It is so unfortunate.

[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's the very dangerous combination of, I hated this movie and I'm disappointed

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_01]: in this movie.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_01]: That is like, give me, and I can't believe I'm saying this, give me this week's Dan Bay

[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_01]: movie over this movie, which if you had told me before watching them that I was going to

[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_01]: take the third Dan Bay movie over the fourth Jane Mysteries movie, I'd have said, you're

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_01]: crazy.

[00:23:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[00:23:20] [SPEAKER_01]: But I get, I feel like, and maybe it's, I get it.

[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_01]: This movie doesn't make sense, Bran.

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I understand that.

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_01]: She won $100 on a game show.

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_01]: She won $100,000.

[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_01]: $100,000.

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Because the guy, he lost $300.

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_01]: $300.

[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_01]: He lost over $10.

[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Over $10.

[00:23:36] [SPEAKER_01]: She's champion.

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_01]: She did a watch.

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And the reporter was in cahoots.

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_01]: That we know is important.

[00:23:40] [SPEAKER_01]: We know her.

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_00]: We love her.

[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_00]: We hate her.

[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, no, we don't love her.

[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_01]: All I know is this, is the first Jane Mystery, so much potential.

[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Everything was there.

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Everything was there.

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And these have progressively gotten worse.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Agree?

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess maybe last week's, I don't know.

[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:23:57] [SPEAKER_02]: The Mosby, I think this might be better than Mosby.

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_02]: It's tough to beat the ending of Mosby.

[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_00]: The Mosby one is better than the second one.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I forgot about that.

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I think.

[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_00]: It's tough to beat the ending of Mosby.

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Mosby was phenomenal.

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_01]: But the Mosby, you're talking about the Mosby is the one with Edgar Allan Poe, right?

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_01]: The movie sucks.

[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_01]: But the ending.

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_01]: It's tough to beat the ending.

[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_01]: The ending is so bad.

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_01]: You think Cazar shirtless in that ending?

[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_01]: So, yes.

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Now I'm 100%.

[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Give it all the deckies.

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[00:24:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Give it all the deckies.

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_01]: The first one's the best.

[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_01]: The second one's the next best.

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Third one.

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Fourth one.

[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_01]: They all get worse.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Fourth one's the one with the hairy chest.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Fourth one's the worst.

[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Fourth one is the worst one.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_01]: It is by far and away the worst of these movies.

[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_01]: It is like they are making it up as they go along.

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_01]: All the things we care about, we don't get anything on.

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's tough too because it's like no one's telling us why, what's going on.

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like we got these movies back to back to back and it's like-

[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I thought you were going to build or something.

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I thought you were going to build.

[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Same.

[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_00]: But if it's like, hey, we were trying to do a procedural thing, someone could have told us.

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_00]: And if you're going to do a procedural thing, then do that with the people in the box.

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Do it with the people in the box.

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Keep bringing it in.

[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_00]: You've got a great-

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_00]: You've got some cold cases.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_00]: You've got a great setup for procedural.

[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_00]: This should have been a spinoff.

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_00]: This shouldn't have even counted as a Jane mystery.

[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It was very confusing.

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a terrible movie.

[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_00]: No one's talking to us.

[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_01]: No one's telling us what's going on.

[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_01]: We got nothing.

[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I just want to play.

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_01]: They're releasing more Aurora Teagarden prequels.

[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_01]: That came out of nowhere.

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Get out of here.

[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know.

[00:25:35] [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know.

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Where's in the darkest you are?

[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Actually, probably more so.

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_00]: People are really good at finding out stuff, and then I find out, and I'm like, oh, that's

[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_00]: cool.

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_01]: If you had power, though, maybe it'd be-

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_01]: That's true.

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I do feel like I kind of stay up to date.

[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_01]: I would be willing to watch these on a loop if I had power right now.

[00:25:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I would watch one a day.

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I would watch-

[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_01]: No, you would not.

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I'd watch one a day for a year if you told me that.

[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_01]: The lights come on, and you will change your tune.

[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I would watch one a day for a year if you told me there was power in my house right

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_01]: now.

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_01]: You would not.

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_01]: One a day for a year.

[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Someone call a line worker.

[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Let's do this.

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It'd be great.

[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_01]: It'd be fun.

[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Brian has no ulterior motive.

[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Brian's up in the lines.

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no.

[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, kids.

[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Just give me a giant generator that runs by an entire house.

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Just go hook it up while I'm here.

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_01]: People that know my address.

[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_01]: They're listening live.

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, kids.

[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I know it's Christmas morning, and we've got to open gifts, but first, I do have to

[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_00]: knock out this Jane McGrath.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I'd rather get this out of the way now.

[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_00]: It's time for all the feels.

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about what this movie gives feels, Brian.

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_02]: The performance at the children's hospital actually really worked for me when they did that.

[00:26:38] [SPEAKER_02]: That was a nice thing to do, and more of that for the kids.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I don't understand the pun game.

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_00]: At all.

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_00]: At all.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And it is somehow my feels, my wait, what, and my what's all on the line.

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm just going to mention it and just be like, isn't it special?

[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_01]: It is so special.

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_01]: The lack of time they put into that game is so special.

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'll take Brian's.

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_00]: That's all I got.

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks.

[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's take a quick break.

[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll come back.

[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk more here on Deck the Hallmark.

[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Hi, everybody.

[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Welcome back to Deck the Hallmark.

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Brian, Brian, Dan.

[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_00]: We're talking Jane Mystery.

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Hi.

[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_00]: The Trace.

[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's also the fifth.

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_00]: It's the fifth.

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_00]: It's the fourth one.

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_00]: It's the fourth.

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Number four.

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Fourth one.

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Do we get more?

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Do we know?

[00:27:38] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not the fifth.

[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I thought they did one and then a second one.

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Pretty sure it's the fourth.

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I think this is four.

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_02]: We got one and these are.

[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll take your word for it.

[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_00]: The broad for it?

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, there are four of these.

[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, great.

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's get to the way what.

[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_02]: So we're talking about what is going to be.

[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's go way what.

[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll start with you, Brian.

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, not enough singing and performing from Jane, I realize.

[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_02]: We start off the song in the beginning.

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I really liked.

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I like that performance.

[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_02]: It's nice.

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's just like she just doesn't really do any more, really.

[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It feels like they're doing it because they have to.

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_02]: They're doing it because they have to.

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I think I'd like a little bit more singing and music play throughout.

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_02]: That would be fun to do.

[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_02]: So did you guys, I know we watched this in weird spots and all that stuff.

[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_02]: On my screen that I watched it on, in the dark on Irene's house, Jane's face looked like orange.

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_02]: It was almost glowing in certain spots.

[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't catch it.

[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Really?

[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't catch it.

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I kept thinking that Irene looked like Jane's aunt.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_02]: She sure did.

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Sandy.

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:28:34] [SPEAKER_01]: That was driving me crazy.

[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And there was another point, Sadie's face.

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_02]: They all, very similar looks.

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_02]: You're right.

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And then throw a twin in the mix.

[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Then there's a twin.

[00:28:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, is Jane's aunt the twin?

[00:28:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Is that also Jane's aunt?

[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Is Irene also Jane's aunt?

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_02]: The twin definitely played a factor, a major factor.

[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a good thing we talked about the twin in the synopsis.

[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_01]: You were all over the synopsis.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_01]: You didn't even mention it.

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_01]: They bring a twin in the vault and it doesn't matter.

[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Gosh.

[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_02]: A tiny bit.

[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_02]: So there was something weird with it.

[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It might have just been like my TV screen.

[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_02]: The coloring was very odd.

[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Like very odd.

[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I just didn't know if that was just me.

[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Coloring.

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_02]: It was real weird.

[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_02]: The police chief hasn't, hasn't, the police chief hasn't gotten involved in John's freelance

[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_02]: work at all.

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing.

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Not a peep to him about like, hey man, do that on your own time.

[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_02]: But the second Mr. Salmon steps out of the office, he is on the phone screaming at John

[00:29:36] [SPEAKER_02]: for it.

[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Like what the heck?

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Why are we doing this?

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just, it was so random that it's like, oh, obviously it's not Salmon.

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Like they're trying to make this a big thing.

[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_02]: It's so obvious.

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_02]: It was just so obvious.

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And does he have the police chief like on his, like, is it, like he's watching.

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Is he, is Mr. San, is the Edgar, Mr. Sandman, maybe.

[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Does he like have, did he, is he paying the chief?

[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Is there like, what's going on there?

[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_02]: They could have been in cahoots.

[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, hey, I'm going to give you some of this money that I definitely going to win with you.

[00:30:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going all stars.

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_02]: So the chief's in on it.

[00:30:13] [SPEAKER_02]: And my, part of my wait, what, a big part of it, which also bleeds into my what the

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_02]: hallmark is, the pun show.

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just so.

[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_01]: What are we doing here, gang?

[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_01]: What, why?

[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody had a funny idea.

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Punny idea, if you will.

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I will.

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_01]: What if the game show's all about puns and then they put zero more work into it?

[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_01]: That's it.

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_01]: None.

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_01]: We get none of the rules.

[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_01]: No rules.

[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_01]: What is it?

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_01]: No regulations.

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_01]: How do you win money?

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_01]: How do you lose money?

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_01]: How do you win $100,000 after $100,000?

[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_01]: How do you lose $300,000 after $10,000?

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_01]: None of it makes any sense.

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Such a distraction.

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_01]: It's absurd.

[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_01]: How do you lose $300,000?

[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the biggest, like.

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_01]: You shouldn't be able to lose it.

[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_01]: If you, like on Jeopardy, if you were risking all your previous day's earnings when you came

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_01]: back, you would never show up for a second.

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Never.

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Never.

[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And the security guard, like, doesn't talk.

[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, what a lot.

[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, security guard doesn't say a word.

[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, leave, you can't come here.

[00:31:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Is that an extra?

[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he's back for sure.

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_02]: 100% had to be.

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_02]: But it was just a weird thing for a set to have somebody who's just like.

[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Not a word.

[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Just shaking his head.

[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't do that.

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Nope.

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Can't do it.

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah.

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_02]: That pun show, man.

[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_02]: It was wild, huh?

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Good stuff.

[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I mentioned it, that they just snuck in.

[00:31:24] [SPEAKER_00]: The fact that she won $100,000 on the pun show.

[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I do feel like you should lead with it.

[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, hey, some weird things happened.

[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_00]: She won $100,000 on a pun show and then she went missing right afterwards.

[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_00]: But she's like, she went missing.

[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_00]: She works on a lot of crazy cases.

[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_00]: So, it's probably something like that.

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_01]: She won $100,000.

[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_01]: She literally says the line just like this.

[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_01]: The only reason I know is I tried to congratulate her on winning $100,000 on a TV game show the

[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_01]: day before.

[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_01]: What?

[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_01]: What?

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Why?

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Every other Hallmark mystery would start like this.

[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_01]: A woman wins the money, goes off stage, and then that night you see her go, what are you

[00:32:02] [SPEAKER_01]: doing here?

[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And then she's gone.

[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_01]: They can't do that though in these ones because there's a song.

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_01]: You got to start with a song.

[00:32:08] [SPEAKER_01]: But instead, they had someone deliver that line just like that.

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I tried to congratulate her on winning $100,000.

[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_01]: You would never say that line.

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_00]: You would never say it.

[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_00]: That's insane.

[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_00]: You never say it.

[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Craig is the nephew.

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_00]: When he is walking through with Jane like, hey, here's how you're going to get into the

[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_00]: TV studio.

[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_00]: He is just like, hey, good thing the floor plans for the game show studio are online.

[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Just right here at Blueprints.

[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_00]: What?

[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_01]: They tried to do a Mission Impossible thing where he's in the other room.

[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, you're going to need to turn left.

[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:32:44] [SPEAKER_01]: But those Blueprints just aren't readily available, right?

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a city building.

[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you think so?

[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Really?

[00:32:50] [SPEAKER_01]: If it was somehow connected to the government, it would be.

[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Great.

[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I love that.

[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It could have been so easy to work around where they give tours of the studio.

[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Here's a map of it.

[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_02]: It didn't have to be Blueprints, right?

[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_00]: When she gets thrown out and she goes back there and she's having a conversation with

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_00]: who we now know is the killer.

[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_00]: We know her.

[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_00]: We love her.

[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_00]: When the police show up, it comes back from break and it's really weird.

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_00]: They do like seven or eight establishing shots of police stuff.

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Here's a police car.

[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Here's the tape.

[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Here's an overhead shot.

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Here's the police coming in.

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_00]: It was so weird.

[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_00]: They've never done this before.

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_00]: They established the heck out of the police force that has shown up and they have blocked

[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_00]: this area off.

[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_00]: It was wild.

[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And also, lastly, once again, I just want to apologize to everybody out there that I really

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_00]: done goofed about the police force here and the Jane Mysteries.

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_00]: It is clear that they are doing shady work and I thought for sure we'd get to the bottom

[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_00]: of that.

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to apologize again.

[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_00]: I know there's a lot of tough stuff going on out there and I just want to say that I

[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_00]: side with the people and let's keep working.

[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's keep the dialogue going and I'm man enough to know when I made a mistake and this

[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_00]: one didn't help.

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_00]: This one didn't help.

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_00]: The case.

[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_00]: It actually hurt it and I'm sorry.

[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to apologize once again about that.

[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_01]: At the beginning of this movie, we're to believe, Brian, that Jane doesn't know what a pun

[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_01]: is.

[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_01]: She's traveled the world.

[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, she doesn't know what one is.

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_01]: That's crazy.

[00:34:25] [SPEAKER_01]: At the end of this movie, she's just out punning the masses.

[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_01]: She is just a pun slinger.

[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_01]: She's just like, man, that was better than anything in this movie.

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's crazy out there.

[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_01]: She's throwing punches and they save for me.

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_01]: The thing about puns is you have to use the word pun.

[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_01]: You can't do it with any other word.

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing that I learned.

[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_00]: And I just won $100,000.

[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_00]: You lost $300,000 actually.

[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_00]: It's gone.

[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_00]: It's gone.

[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_00]: If you're not first, you're last.

[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_00]: That makes plenty of sense to me.

[00:35:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I don't know.

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no.

[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_03]: That's a lot.

[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, man.

[00:35:07] [SPEAKER_00]: That's a lot of punny.

[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_00]: If you're not careful, you're going to be the next Granny Smith.

[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll say that much.

[00:35:14] [SPEAKER_00]: R.I.P., obviously.

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Puncaked.

[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Puncaked.

[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the best one.

[00:35:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I get that the police officers think there's no foul play.

[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_01]: They're like, look.

[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Of course they do.

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_01]: The police officer's like, look, she won $100,000 and then she left.

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Why are we not looking for anything?

[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_01]: But when she doesn't show up for work and she's been gone for 48 hours and anyone would

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_01]: start some sort of search at that point.

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_01]: At this point, the police are actively bad at their jobs.

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, they don't go in.

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_01]: No one in 48 hours has been in the house.

[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Why not?

[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And someone's clearly gone through the house.

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_01]: This is like an actual job for a police officer.

[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_01]: This is one they should be doing.

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't believe it.

[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_01]: At one point, someone says this line, she did mention a nephew and she said she wanted

[00:36:06] [SPEAKER_01]: to.

[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you later.

[00:36:10] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't remember if it comes back or not, but I do know this.

[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_01]: If you say in a case, she did mention a nephew and she said she wanted to, you're going to

[00:36:19] [SPEAKER_01]: finish that sentence.

[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_01]: She did mention a nephew and she said she wanted to.

[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you later.

[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not important.

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not important.

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_01]: I know we're looking for her.

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I know she's missing.

[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_01]: She did mention a nephew and he's here and we don't know if he's a killer.

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_01]: And she mentioned she wanted to.

[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Say those words.

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll get to it later.

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll get to it later.

[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_01]: No big deal.

[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_00]: They.

[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_00]: It was kill him, right?

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, you know, sometimes it's like you want to like, I want to kill that.

[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I want to kill that nephew of mine.

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Like what I thought.

[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_00]: But she didn't want to say that because the guy was right there.

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, one of those things.

[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And then she says, I'll tell you later.

[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Was the nephew there?

[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_01]: The nephew was in the room.

[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_02]: It had to have been.

[00:36:58] [SPEAKER_02]: She wanted to set him.

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Set her up.

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Set her up.

[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_02]: That's way nicer.

[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_01]: But like you're hanging on every word.

[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_01]: You're trying to solve a case.

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't care.

[00:37:07] [SPEAKER_01]: They're trying to get set.

[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_01]: You're like.

[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.

[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_01]: She tried to what?

[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Like finish the sentence now.

[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know.

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Actually would have been a cool little thing.

[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Be like, she actually wanted to set us up.

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Why would they do that?

[00:37:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you later.

[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_01]: The, and this may be just me being critical of driving, but it takes Jane a year and a

[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_01]: half to back her forerunner into a parking space in a garage.

[00:37:29] [SPEAKER_01]: She might still be working on it.

[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I get straight between the lines.

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm not big on the like go to 1.5 speed, but I wanted to at that moment.

[00:37:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, just break the car and just press.

[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_01]: There's all kinds of room.

[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_01]: What are you doing?

[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Salmon has been on a show 10 episodes.

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_01]: He's no Ken Jennings.

[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_01]: This whole all-star thing.

[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't even want to talk about it.

[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to get into it.

[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, that's it.

[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_00]: That's all I got.

[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_00]: It's time for The Hallmark.

[00:38:01] [SPEAKER_00]: It's where we wonder what could have been.

[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe have to give some clarity questions.

[00:38:03] [SPEAKER_00]: We still have.

[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Brian, what do you still wonder about?

[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Just the only thing I'm thinking about is the show, the punch show.

[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_02]: What the heck is it?

[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_02]: What is Chet up to?

[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Where is he?

[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Who's doing his hair?

[00:38:15] [SPEAKER_02]: There's a fantastic part he's got going on.

[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_02]: And just yet, the money thing is we deserve an explanation.

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Like how did you, what is the deal?

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_00]: When money, how do you lose money is obviously high on that.

[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_01]: My big one is All-Stars.

[00:38:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I know that we're not sure there actually was an All-Stars game.

[00:38:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe somebody was lying to him.

[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_01]: But what?

[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_01]: You lost all your money.

[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_01]: You should be the feet.

[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And they're featuring you on the All-Stars.

[00:38:41] [SPEAKER_00]: So that's like my thing is, was he a big deal, Edgar Samen?

[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Is he a big deal in his mind?

[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Was he already something?

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Like if 10 episode run is not long enough to become big.

[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Big.

[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_00]: For literally anything.

[00:38:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I was so confused as to what his deal was.

[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_00]: If he's like a notorious game show winner type thing where he goes on different game shows,

[00:39:08] [SPEAKER_00]: if the 10 episodes on Pun has brought like, or is it all in his mind?

[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_01]: What's the name of the Pun game show right now?

[00:39:14] [SPEAKER_01]: What is it?

[00:39:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Pun.

[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Pun War?

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember.

[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Pun of War?

[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I have it written down.

[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_00]: It is Pun...

[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Pun Hero.

[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Pun Hero.

[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_00]: There it is.

[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not even a pun in the name.

[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not even a pun in the name.

[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It's not even a pun in the name.

[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_01]: It's so mad right now.

[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen someone create, like have an idea and do not like put less work in it

[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_01]: than they put into a pun game show in this movie.

[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy.

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_01]: You hate to see it.

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_01]: You hate to see it.

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_00]: You hate to see it.

[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And you hate to see this.

[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_00]: We're done.

[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I had one more way what that I forgot to say.

[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Please, please go for it.

[00:39:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And it was about Stephen Hazard being shirtless.

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_00]: When he unpartitions from the partition, she seems surprised when she sees his...

[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_01]: The reaction to him shirtless, it could be studied for decades.

[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_00]: So here's the thing.

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I've never been less surprised seeing someone shirtless in my life.

[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_00]: The way he looks is exactly how you would think so because of how tight his shirts are.

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_00]: But she looks at him like we looked at Brian when he took his shirt off at Primal Fest.

[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_00]: We were like, oh, wow, look at that guy.

[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think she looked...

[00:40:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought her acting there was weird.

[00:40:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was a surprise look.

[00:40:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, wow.

[00:40:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think it was like, oh, dang.

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was just like, oh, you're shirtless.

[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_01]: It didn't look like she was like...

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I just was like, what is Jody doing?

[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I took it as, oh, wow, look at that body for a second.

[00:40:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And then she powered through it.

[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, look at that body.

[00:40:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, look at that body.

[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_00]: We did it, everybody.

[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Congratulations.

[00:40:46] [SPEAKER_00]: We were on the street is that we're done.

[00:40:49] [SPEAKER_00]: We're done for this week.

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_01]: We're done for this week.

[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And if you don't see us in a studio on Monday, pray for us.

[00:40:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Actually, you won't see us in a studio on Monday.

[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.

[00:40:58] [SPEAKER_01]: If you don't see us in a studio on Tuesday...

[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Tuesday.

[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Send them up.

[00:41:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Prayers up, everybody.

[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Tuesday week.

[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Tuesday week.

[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_01]: No, just Tuesday.

[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Tuesday week would be a week from Tuesday.

[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_02]: That too, though.

[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Tuesday week too.

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_01]: If you don't see us one there, I don't even want to talk about it.

[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That'll be tough.

[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll be back next time with another one.

[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Until then, members of the first wish you a Merry Christmas.

[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I promise they're coming.

[00:41:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Yep.

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Here they are.

[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Happy day.
