[00:02:45] Just a hunch I don't know but I think that's how they roll because they're on their game. Did you come close during this movie? Again, no Have you ever bought anything from QVC? I've not no me either

[00:02:58] Absolutely, I've I don't know if I've ever met anyone that's bought something from QVC Aaron I bought anything from QVC No I think I've bought from like the modern day QVC, which is like tick-tock or getting influenced on Instagram. Yeah

[00:03:16] Okay, yeah, I don't know if I've done that either we Patrick and I talked about that on the lifetime Oh really that I've never he does that a lot He purchases stuff all the time from Instagram influencers

[00:03:26] And I think because over the last five or six years. We've been sent products We have to sell there's something about buying one and clicking on it that I just can't do Brian have you ever bought from QVC? You ever bought anything from QVC, Brian?

[00:03:41] Lisa has an I've met Lisa There you go. I want to know what Lisa Farone purchased from QVC. She buys a lot. Maybe this is too long Oh, okay. I will say I've watched QVC at like Christmas time and it I come close often

[00:03:56] Do you really yeah? Yeah, it's mainly like the you watch QV. You just turn on QVC at Christmas time Yes Christmas vibes have you but it's a there why there's so many places you can get Christmas vibes on your television set

[00:04:12] Sure, why did why QVC? Those lights and stuff because like since I'm sorry. I like to see what's out there I like I like to be informed Lisa says the list is too long. Lisa's has done a lot of QVC

[00:04:22] I like the idea of QVC at Christmas time and then I tune in. I'm like no No, I don't want any of this Cannot purchase our subscription to QVC plus because it still comes with commercials It's just it's QVC Commercials that occasionally comes with a movie

[00:04:40] QVC plus a movie Last year we ventured over here to watch Holly and the hot chocolate And we were all I think pleasantly surprised by Jim by that movie So of course we had to go back when we found out about the recipe files

[00:04:57] To see can I do it again? Yeah, two for two maybe let's find out recipe files Brand never misses an Ashley Simpson joint also. I have always said that about myself. I loved her in seventh heaven

[00:05:13] What else is that it as in is she been anything else? I mean she had her own TV show right the Ashley Simpson show Which I watched of course Two seasons, I believe I think that's it. I think it's seven Kevin

[00:05:26] Her music videos and the Ashley Simpson show So, yeah, I guess I don't miss anything that Ashley Simpson Recipe files originally dropped on the QVC plus on November 24th 2023 and it went a little something like this. I Don't really know what a movie mall is

[00:05:46] But these people from the movie mall are here to tell us about the movie. We're about to watch Also featuring the guy who made a holiday in the hot chocolate. He's a part of the McKever

[00:05:59] I mean he's a part of the movie mall and so that's nice cut to the actual movie And I'm sure we won't hear from them again Cut to the actual movie a car is driving on the road stops in front of a store That is for sale a

[00:06:12] Woman gets out and she's she has like the sheet of paper with her that tells everything about The this store and apparently it is already her She is moving to shady oats to start a bakery and this is where she's gonna do it

[00:06:27] And she bought it site unseen and now that she sees it. She's not as thrilled as she once was She was promised a turnkey Store and this is not that I guess we're gonna have to put some work into it

[00:06:40] We didn't meet Ashley Simpson who is running the family? Candy chocolate store That's exactly that But it's having a hard time perfecting her mom's recipe her mom passed away unexpectedly and She has been trying to get the chocolate right but just can't her brother shows up

[00:07:01] His name is Ben and she tells him that there is an offer on the table From some family friends that own the wine To buy the chocolate shop when they're like I don't really know why they would want to buy the chocolate shop as a wine

[00:07:16] Winery but wine and chocolate terrible to go to a weird combo But I don't know what to do and so Ashley Simpson is Considering the deal because she doesn't have the recipes and doesn't have to touch that her mom had and so what?

[00:07:31] What am I supposed to do come back to Isabel and she finds out that apparently this building is haunted and Doesn't take long for the kitchen stuff to just start acting a fool

[00:07:42] So Isabel has to go to a thrift store a secondhand shop to find some spare knobs and what nots For the kitchen and in the process she finds a recipe book

[00:07:56] Oh, and so she gets back and she begins to make the scones that are in this recipe book and my guy Ben I Know That's that is my mom's coat so he is Now like who is my mom back or what so goes in and he meets Isabel

[00:08:20] And it's like hey you have my mom's recipe. This is my mom's cone I know this smell anywhere buys it for $20. Okay, and takes it with him Come back to the movie mall people. They're selling us some David's hot chocolate

[00:08:36] That's nice. I forgot I was watching TV see there for a second. So it's just good It's always good. Yes, have the options back to the movie Ashley Simpson is surprised that Ben found the recipe book and Ashley Simpson says honestly

[00:08:52] Give me back. I don't know honestly. I don't even want this Go bring it back to her because maybe she can like keep the Memory of mom alive via scones and I really can't follow a recipe give it to a strange woman

[00:09:08] Maybe she can follow a recipe. You know, I was saying earlier that I like if only I had the recipes That's right now that I have a recipe. I don't want it ship them. It's not the chocolate recipe though

[00:09:19] It's different. So I don't know it's different. No, this is totally different. I don't want to go I want the scones kick rocks scones. I don't want any part of this coach and so he brings the or takes the recipe book back and

[00:09:35] She's like, oh wow, okay, cool And then she begins to flip through and notices that there are some secret codes within this recipe omega code and Da Vinci code I Remember that the Vinci codes mad Christians have Ron Howard making a Tom Hanks movie. Absolutely Sheesh

[00:09:59] But what time I was in Paris I couldn't get anywhere near the Louvre because of all the dumb tourists with their little Dan Brown book Senate yeah, where were the book banners when when you needed them? So So She's like son of a gun I I know codes

[00:10:23] I'm pretty good at you know So you just I bring that to put the pieces the pieces the pieces of me Yeah, she sees these coach. She's like, oh, he's making me want a lot of And so

[00:10:40] The they start to do these codes and she's like let's go back to that place maybe there's more books and sure enough all of mom's recipes are there and there's full of codes and Isabel takes the natural leap of going a

[00:10:56] I'm pretty sure your mom was trying to tell us something about the way that she died via these codes. I Just have a feeling um So you know these movies at this point everybody is a suspect everybody is being super weird

[00:11:13] Yeah, everybody could have done it and so they're going around they are talking to everybody They are taking files from the sheriff behind his back. They're doing everything and She becomes relatively convinced that it is

[00:11:31] The family friends that own the winery she's just kind of feels you know a little hunch And that's where Ben is like no way no no way no how best friend best friends my mom's best friend No way no how no way so apparently the wine

[00:11:49] Winery had a spoiled wine situation Yeah, and that was bad for business, but didn't really affect them all that much But Isabella That's about she can't let this go and so she goes down into the

[00:12:04] Down there's of below. Sorry. She goes down to the basement is what I'm trying to say and she sees some You don't call the basement the down there Down there she discovers some of the wine bottles and they have a

[00:12:23] Label for another wine hour or tops are good But and but she starts to see this like a little little little peelage maybe so she peels it back and sees that no no no

[00:12:34] This is the friends winery and it all clicks together for her. So she barges in and she says I Know what you did get brings the police the police are like good enough for us Thanks for figuring this out for us

[00:12:47] They're about to rest the sun because they're like the sun is covering this up the sun for the sins of the mother there's the brother and the sons and the and the and so The mom finally is like no it was me. I did it

[00:13:02] She was going to use another wine company and it hurt my feelings So I brought some sports some of those some of the some of our wine and this whole thing and She ended up dying well via

[00:13:18] Food poisoning which went to her blood her blood which killed her salt. Yes salt So they from salt they arrest her and Ben's like you did it and did I kiss they do kiss and they kiss he brings her flowers And that my friends was the recipe We

[00:13:46] Sometimes I don't think they should kiss so when they do I just yeah act like it didn't happen Any home let's take a let's take a quick break. We'll come back. We'll break this we now with four segments here on Post Monday

[00:14:27] KVC plus movie that we have yes Had the honor the honor to watch Now we're gonna start with a hot take and I'm gonna start with you Alonzo Alonzo What do you think of the recipe files?

[00:14:38] Well, it has been an ongoing topic of conversation on this show and on decks of hallmark about the idea of Christmas mysteries and they're so cool there

[00:14:48] They seem like to be such a fun thing and why don't people do more of them and here now we have one and thanks. I hate it This movie is Nonsense I have one of the longest lists of weight what's I think I've ever compiled

[00:15:04] Starting with the fact that spoiled wine will not kill you Even then I mean like maybe a lot of salt. I don't know but it's anyway the utter nonsense combined combined with Not just like shameless sort of QVC salesmanship

[00:15:26] Which frankly I'm surprised that we didn't see more of it in Holly and the hot chocolate and clearly like after that When they're like, you know what this movie needs more of Like a hard pitch. Yeah So we get that but then unfortunately as I said before

[00:15:39] Well, you know when I like the idea of QVC at Christmas time and then I see what they're actually selling the gross QVC Christmas aesthetic is all over this thing from the From the brightest lit bakery on earth to all of the houses

[00:15:54] And it's just all kind of tacky and I didn't want to look at it So yeah did not care for this Yeah, this is a mystery in the same sense that like isn't life a mystery

[00:16:13] No one asked for this to be a mystery in fact we're 15 20 minutes deep in this movie and it's still not a mystery I Here's the thing and I think you and I they brought in the the mom's like secret message thing And I'm like, okay. That's interesting

[00:16:30] You could have done that without it being like the way in which she's Dropping clues about like you could have done it and it just been a thing and like there's some sort of like sweet revelation for her kids and theirs

[00:16:46] I don't know it but it all led to nothing for me I found the The woman who played Isabelle. I thought she was really good and I think that she could do more of these Ashley Simpson good to see you bud Overall

[00:17:07] Give me Holly in the hot chocolate seven times over and twice on Sunday Dan Look listen movies trash, and I think QVC knows it's trash And I think it doesn't go far enough in that knowledge like I I don't have a

[00:17:28] Laundry list of weight what's because for the majority of the runtime I kept going they know what's like Yeah, you know all the stuff with the sheriff and the weird accents and everything you're like They know that they're doing a bit here, right?

[00:17:43] But you don't actually know if they know they're doing a bit and then you have them set like these two hosts Which is also a good idea if you're gonna have a movie Like Holly in the hot chocolate which knew it was a satire was silly beyond silly

[00:17:58] It was 70 minutes long and it was really funny To have two people hosting the movie that you go back to and they're kind of making fun of it Like in their banter. They're kind of like I think it's such-and-such

[00:18:11] I think it's so-and-so by these you know steaks or this hot chocolate like I feel like they're so close to doing this Right, but instead of making a movie that's full like naked gun satire You have a movie that just

[00:18:27] Sits there and they bring out up and I'm using quotes if you're not watching on fire a parade of stars From the QVC network. I've never heard of any of these people Ashley Simpson is five on the call sheet

[00:18:43] Much like the Ramones she wants to be sedated. I don't like I don't know She she is barely moving in this movie She is so close to not moving in this movie. She could easily just be wax

[00:18:58] I don't know I don't know why she showed up for it. She doesn't need the paycheck. I She looks like she's disinterested Well, how much could QVC have ponied up to get her in this movie in five on the call sheet

[00:19:13] Why do you take that unless you need the money? I don't know Why do you take a QVC Christmas movie? What if she got paid in steaks and cocoa? You could get me a lot of movies

[00:19:29] Just she she has no bear like she could not be less interested in doing anything In this and I know that Ashley Simpson has a dynamic personality like in SNL when things went wrong

[00:19:42] You saw who she was and it was funny and like this is I don't know what's going on You wanted her to just do the ho down dance at some point in this movie. You're waiting for it

[00:19:52] I want I just I just didn't understake most times if you have somebody like that It's either like really really really stilted Bobby flay being Bobby fill a or but you know I mean something close or it's an ass Bobby Schmid. That's right

[00:20:05] Or it's a star who's trying to give a performance This is AI This is not like it's not those things and so I just I do feel a little differently than you two in that I Feel like they're closer to what they wanted to do with this

[00:20:25] Than than you two do in that let's make us like a satirical murder mystery with like bad Like bad red herrings and a dumb plot and like so you really can't make fun of it because we've got two hosts

[00:20:40] That are going to make fun of it and the host occasionally do kind of banter and make fun of the movie And it's a good idea like it's kind of what we do and it just it just wasn't

[00:20:54] Satirical enough it wasn't ridiculous enough it took itself just a little bit too seriously And so you kind of have the worst of all the worlds It's just a really really bad movie instead and that's unfortunate

[00:21:06] It's worth pointing out that this was written by a woman named Jennifer snow who had six Cable Christmas movies last year including one we've already seen Christmas time capsule How about that Chris oh with the best kiss the best kiss didn't even get nominated for a decky somehow

[00:21:25] That's unbelievable Robbed let's talk about the feel Zonza Well, there's an arson joke in the first five minutes and that made me laugh Wasn't expecting that from a realtor The the newspaper is a wait what for me

[00:21:43] But I will say of all of the spinning headlines we get in this movie best friends solve murder in questionable fashion choice So there's things like that throughout the movie for me like everything about the police the sheriff's

[00:21:58] Office made me laugh like the list on the like the door and then he's an idiot He's wearing like some he's not even wearing a real like uniform But I think I think was we've noticed with these movies

[00:22:09] Especially the occasional times that people try to mock them you have to go so far That's right You'll that's right because these movies are already sort of inherently ridiculous and no one has quite cracked that code yet

[00:22:21] We saw there was that Chris with the Campbell's or it's like what if we just make it a little filthier and a couple other ones Like it like no one's really Playing to this genre yet. Yeah, I actually the more the further we get away from the more

[00:22:32] I really appreciate a Christmas movie Christmas with Brent Darnity Like I think they may have done it the best so far which is crazy because at the time I was like it was good. They pulled their punch

[00:22:42] But now I'm thinking that's the best version of this that I've seen like if a cluster funk Christmas Which I don't know if you ever saw that one did not If that had been like 30 to 45 minutes

[00:22:55] Brilliant like they know so many tropes and they're so funny about it But to maintain that over the course of an entire movie is a whole other hurdle that they did not clear, right? So when the person brings Ashley Simpson stakes, I'm like what is happening

[00:23:15] Did not know who that was then to then to cut to the Back to our hosts and they sell us steaks. I mean Amazing amazing a guy who's the delivery man of the stakes apparently is the steak shiller on QVC

[00:23:34] I love that. Yeah, and like he walks in he's like boy You you really had to order these again real quickly quicker than you normally do huh? And I'm just like what is happening here, and then they try to sell us steaks gotta be honest love that it

[00:23:52] Just That's what the QVC that gummet that that's the stuff that I'm like, okay. I see what they're doing there Yeah, that's my thing is is once again that scene which like has weight

[00:24:02] What that scene could be a page of weight? What's like this is a butcher that packages? I don't think the store, but I don't think that To a civilian Whatever I don't think the movie is doing the satirical work

[00:24:17] Yeah, I think the cutting to the host and occasionally they're saying a thing Yeah, I think they're trying to shoot shoe hornet after the fact man. I don't know like some funny things But you're totally like it's just and it's just not enough in the host like

[00:24:32] Like the host I don't know who the female host is but I can tell you this much. She is pregnant How do I know that she tells us 800 times like? Literally one and a half minute bits and every time

[00:24:48] She's like well, you know, I'm pregnant John my favorite one like okay My favorite one was I'm pregnant John. You couldn't have handed me cookies and he's like okay, and then he slides the cookie plate on inch closer couldn't like couldn't have been less helpful

[00:25:04] She's like thank you the one time I was like oh, she's not gonna mention she's pregnant. She goes for baby Like is this a satire or is this also a part of the bit

[00:25:15] No, I don't have any feels this was it just it just sits there unfortunately, but steak Let's take a quick break we'll come back and we will get to the way what's in the I don't know man. QVC pluses and minuses It's all over

[00:25:38] Hello everybody welcome back. We're talking about the recipe files the Christmas mystery From QVC plus back in 2023 Let's get to the way what salon so anything stick out to you. Oh golly. Let's see

[00:25:54] Well, first of all I have to say it's hilarious after we busted nicely's chops about their fake digital snow that they have now Incorporated fake digital snow into their actual logo. Yeah, so Cheers for leaning into that one

[00:26:08] so okay early on she's at the bakery and and you know everything is is going badly and She opens the oven and this stuff is burned terribly Bakers never make five of anything

[00:26:23] You don't know there would be like all racks of things and that oven would be much larger But that's a whole other thing I Was gonna say the stealing stuff and then reselling it as a brilliant business model

[00:26:35] But the realtor who also owns the secondhand store does at least let her have the oven knob for free So, you know, thanks for that I guess The whole pinches and dashes thing is ridiculous and it's just you know like

[00:26:50] For a movie called the recipe files do better Ashley Simpson gets the notebook and Hands it back to the brother confidently and says there's no candy recipe in here And then we find out that like a third of the recipes in this notebook are written in cipher code

[00:27:07] How does she know did she cuz We never see her just doesn't crack anything so different types of cipher codes to not the same type

[00:27:19] Different yeah, I mean this movie is like watching an Alan Turing film where suddenly we're like getting deep into the whole thing about code breaking Okay, so the newspaper the running gag of the newspaper and

[00:27:36] I'm gonna throw this out as a wait what even though it's probably meant to be a joke The the newspaper has pictures on the cover that the person doing the paper could not possibly have taken

[00:27:47] Including like people on the phone on the other end of a phone conversation with her I'll let that one go because it's so absurd. It had to be it has to be a joke Yeah, America's coziest police department

[00:28:00] What is this room that's supposed to be the department office the sheriff's office or whatever like six columns and four Christmas trees In the dead center of the room and and like ye old 1940s filing cabinets. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah

[00:28:19] Is there on earth a company that would call itself sour grapes I Listen, that was when I was like they're about to go full joke with this when they said sour grapes vineyard I'm like we're here. We've made it to the police squad now

[00:28:38] We can get on with the jokes and then they don't know they treat it seriously somehow It'd be like if her business was called like stale tasteless bakery. I mean it's nonsense at some point Bell becomes a suspect even though she'd never heard of this woman or anything

[00:28:59] New to town. I'm new in town and showed up, but somehow you killed somebody weeks ago They go back one of the millionth times they go to the second-hand store

[00:29:10] She's like she has this wreath that she's trying to fob off on them and Ben buys it for it says it's for your bakery She goes back to the bakery and there are At least there's four wreaths just on the outside

[00:29:25] And I don't know how many more on the inside because again though This has been like so QVC Juj into like this sort of nightmarish tacky holiday decor. I'm like For wear, you know, thanks. I appreciate the effort but no

[00:29:40] The peel off labels like she's not even picking at it with her fingernail it comes off like it's a post-it The the grand finale is the mysterious chocolate recipe falls out of the notebook like that's been there the whole

[00:29:58] Time the whole time and no one noticed it even though they were ripping pages out of it and passing it around They do what all sorts of food for off and then finally

[00:30:08] Is the bakery haunted or not? Yeah, I would have been great. They drop that little nugget early on and then never addressed Yeah, that was tough the bakery not being haunted or us not hearing about it was ridiculous

[00:30:21] I have a few one this woman. She bought a place side unseen with the understanding that it would be like turnkey Oh, yes, she walks in and she acts like she walked into a house from hoarders like she is so disgusted And I gotta be honest

[00:30:38] Looked pretty decent to me. Yeah, like I know there's some walked into some real bad office Left behind there's like one curtain. That's like a little topsy-turvy. Yeah, come on man Like it could have been way worse

[00:30:53] I'm like cases are still gleaming. Yeah, I know the floors couldn't they're pristine these floors Is Ashley Simpson actively selling bad chocolate? Yeah. Yes She's she's selling it as she's trying to figure it out

[00:31:12] She goes over to the to she goes over to the display picks one out gives it to her brother's brother's like You're selling it. They're selling it. You're selling it. They're selling it and it's still the bad wine. They're using

[00:31:26] It is still the bad wine they're using. Oh, that's true. No one's wow Yeah, it's tough. Yeah, but only one person died from it. So that's good with a salt I did love going back to the newspaper

[00:31:39] I love that the digital version of the newspaper is still the like it's just literally a digital version of the newspaper You're not normally to go to a website. It's like oh close this and it it's just like a photograph a photograph of the front page

[00:31:52] That you can look at if you want to so he He buys the recipe book from her from Isabelle gives her the $20 and then when he comes back She goes I'm not giving your money back and he says that's fair No

[00:32:13] Not fair and you and you have both admitted that you owe that it was overpaid Yeah, like they both are these things like over G overpaid for it. I'm not giving you my back. That's fair

[00:32:24] No, it's not fair that you I'm giving you back my dead mom's recipe book because Ashley Simpson doesn't need anything But by all means keep the $20 um Isabelle found how to crack this code so fast. I just she's like, yeah, I know this one Yeah, I thought also

[00:32:44] I thought that was when when she the third cobin she's like, oh, this is iambic pentameter mr Byzman Like it like you were like, oh, okay. I guess this is just this is ridiculous

[00:32:53] Um, I mean, I think my biggest thing is also just like what is betty's deal That everyone in town is like, yeah, she does code Just Deal

[00:33:06] If there's a person who everyone in town is like, yeah, they do a bunch of stay like do secret codes. That's kind of their thing That's like concerning right like they're everything they're doing like this is some cue it on stuff, bro

[00:33:19] Like you are doing some weird stuff. You never say oh them they do codes you say oh them They do That's what you say that if she does the sunday acrostic or whatever

[00:33:33] She's a puzzle fiend fine, but then also if everybody knows she does codes and why is she doing codes To secretly announce that she murdered wouldn't everybody wouldn't the murderer know? And then my last one is I just loved that the cop when arresting

[00:33:51] The woman says i'm arresting you for the murder of your best friend That's right. Fantastic case anyone forgot. Yeah, this isn't the best friend over here. I'd remain silent when you're Best friend. Yeah, dato um

[00:34:06] She says this is what I get for buying a bakery site unseen a bottle of wine deep Can you do that? Like if we got to the point with real estate Where you can buy a piece of real estate

[00:34:19] In the middle of the night drinking without signing anything is that Real question zilla would like you to I think I think you're gonna have to card check out Let's go ahead and buy it like you gotta have like now

[00:34:35] I'm pretty sure lawyers have to be present to buy real estate You cannot do that You can't be like i've had a few drinks. I need to buy some land. You can't that's not how that works man

[00:34:48] It's not you know, it's not brand's decky's tux on amazon. Like you know what i mean It was good though. Dude popped. It was really good Um, there would be a notary involved at one point there would be at one point in this movie

[00:35:25] It's soft number one you have been working on codes and murder mystery For the whole freaking movie. You're not selling a single scone and two You never open the place every time we go back there. It looks Like nobody's been in it How

[00:35:43] I would add third if she's a Baker presumably because she bought a bakery. Wouldn't she have her own recipes? Why is she immediately making some dead woman scones? Yeah, I I couldn't believe that they keep interviewing this real estate lady and finally

[00:35:59] She tells them that she did know about Their moms like purchasing or going to sour grapes for this other winery or something And she they said why didn't you tell us sooner and she says the line I'm not going to incriminate myself of being privy to betty's secrets

[00:36:16] Not a crime not a crime Not a crime. It's not a crime for you to know that betty Went to a different winery to use their wine for chocolate Not a crime that 100 percent you never have to say that out loud. That's not incriminating

[00:36:35] That's not what that word means At all you were on trial for nothing Unless I think unless she means it would make her a suspect that she knew this still not incriminating Yeah, I also and maybe i'm just getting old and this was personal but they were like

[00:36:53] That's old man rogers address He's so old and he's just like angry all the time and my my mom fought with him that guy is my age He looked like he was maybe I'm 40 He was maybe 48 Like he literally he couldn't be less old and just like cantankerous

[00:37:15] They they could have found any old cantankerous dude And they found somebody who's like a geriatric millennial or early gen X And they're like can you play the old cantankerous guy next door? He's like you betcha

[00:37:28] Um, yeah, he's he's 85 but those qv steaks are keeping him. Yeah, that's right. Yeah the qv steaks That's what it's doing for sure And then lastly we did do this a little bit

[00:37:38] But we need to camp on a little bit longer when we found out how this murder happened They switched the labels of the chocolate the wine the wine goes bad

[00:37:48] She uses the wine the bad wine which you cannot die from drinking as we've already established in the chocolate She tastes the chocolate. She's like this chocolate sucks I can't sell it and then she dies because of too much salt and food poisoning gotten her blood

[00:38:04] That's terrible, but there's one more line in between there that is just Chef's kiss perfect and the line that connects She made the chocolate. It was bad and then she died of food poisoning in her blood and salt is She ate all the chocolate

[00:38:20] So they're like, oh we've put the pieces together She made thousands of bad chocolates Tasted one and was like people can't eat this I'm gonna eat it all at once

[00:38:33] I'm gonna start jamming bad chocolate into my mouth like i'm the german kid in willy wonka and the chocolate factory Until I just am sick. So nobody even has to see this bad chocolate. She's keegan michael keven walk Yeah, I just I don't

[00:38:55] Wait she made bad chocolate. It was like guess I gotta take one for the team and she just bellied up to the bar He's like let's go

[00:39:03] What in the world that is wild that little line he slips in oh, oh, I see what happened the chocolate was bad Then she ate it all What? Why why would she do that? That was ridiculous. She's not she cannot do waste. Yeah

[00:39:20] Uh, let's do what the qvc. No, thank you vc. No Oh I love that. Sorry. What could have been maybe have and get some clarity any questions that we still have along dough

[00:39:33] Well, I think this is the big one. Um, the entire movie is setting up the romance between ashley simpson and the son of the wine lady so Are they gonna get together and then is ben gonna get together with the woman who sent the wine guy's

[00:39:49] Mom to prison and what are those christmas is gonna be like? Yeah, that's tough That is tough. Howdy Um, yeah, I mean you guys mentioned the sheriff and the office and all this stuff. I'm like not entirely

[00:40:06] Convinced that the uh sheriff's office is not just someone's living room It is inside of a house. Like it's gotta it's carpeted. Yeah, like it it's It is somebody's living room. I'm like 99 sure it was the funniest thing But both that locks from the inside

[00:40:27] What is it? Well, and then like just his uniform was hilarious like Very funny uniform. Uh, but just Yeah, was it a living room? I'd like to know if someone could uh, let me know who was on this Say that'd be great dan

[00:40:40] I may have tuned out but as best I can figure By the end of this movie We don't actually establish that ashley simpson can make quality chocolate Nor that her business is saved I'm assuming it goes it goes under

[00:40:56] I like I I I'm assuming that the wine was causing the bad chocolate and she's selling it anyway and then She just can't Get I don't know we literally did find the recipe in the notebook that was loosely floating around. Yeah

[00:41:11] I I I just I I feel like ashley simpson was almost there just for ashley simpson and just just to be there and and

[00:41:19] I don't know. I I don't know why we we did that or why her shop has how has it lasted she's been selling nothing but back chocolate That's impressive for 50 off. Nonetheless. It's wild. Yep. Um, well, we did everybody congratulations
