[00:00:46] We're back. We're back everybody. Yeah, we are. We're back better than ever episode two season two Things are happening, Bran They sure are a lot of things Real kind of gotta just like sit with it for a little bit

[00:01:01] But what better way to sit with it than with my friend. That's right talking about the way home Ryan. Hi bud Hi, how we doing doing great? How are you? I fell in the shower this morning. What do you mean? You what fell in the shower?

[00:01:16] Are you 100? What happened? I slipped in the shower Like getting in or fall like full My ribs hurt no one no one make any good funnies today because it's a take this is this is my fault

[00:01:29] I want to make this very clear because she listens. This is my fault Alyssa cleaned the shower yesterday She told me hey, I use some stuff be careful rinse it out before you start I just I got in the old day

[00:01:42] I the water was too hot if I got the temperature right we would have been fine Why I would have stayed in a stationary position and I just take that one as I've done 8,000 times in my showering career that once half-step to make it a little cooler and

[00:01:58] Calambity ensued You only take 8,000 showers You're saying there buddy. Are you sure you? Thousand so it's about 24 years of life one a day Rye guys about 10 years older than that right My god, I'm getting Jake Gyllenhold here early

[00:02:23] So I just want to let everyone know up front. I'm playing a little her We're just happy to have twice a week shower Notorious For better or worse two showers a week. Oh my goodness

[00:02:43] Like when do you start showering as a kid like there's a few years there? 8,000 just take you by 365 is about Was a bath kid under 22 years under 22 years of showers For my little bit here and now we're doing oh man just to just to paint the picture though

[00:03:14] So you go to step into? Shower it's a little too hot So you you jump back right if I had gotten the right no no no I said hot I stayed in the stationary position. I said alright. I gotta make it. I gotta make it cooler

[00:03:27] Okay, I took like a half step forward and that motion like so I like slipped off my back foot And then we don't have like one of them handlebars in there. Yeah, I really do sound like One of them handlebars

[00:03:42] Like and so it could have been all jokes aside it could have been like really bad Thank thankfully I have the reflexes of a snake and Like you and grab you know pan down. I hit the side of the hand down. Are you filming this?

[00:03:59] You know the dark web right? I'm glad you weren't injured more seriously And the good news is by Saturday that cleaning stuff will be gone. You'll be good to go I Will she said that's the other thing she said I also did it in the other shower

[00:04:10] I'll inevitably forget that the other shower has it's gonna happen again Oh, what it like that's you're taking one step and you're slip like what she use on this thing I think it's more because I wasn't prepared for it's like if you know

[00:04:22] It's it's slicker than it would normally be don't put this on a list of she Need one of those mats Set up a double-dead 2000 set for you to Alyssa home alone you she home alone I totally Joe Pesci

[00:04:38] Yeah, as I was falling I was like my life stream accomplished. I'm Joe Pesci I Started quoting things from lethal weapon to like they eff you with the drive through you know

[00:04:47] I did the whole thing like you know do you think you get going back to double-dead real quick? Do you think you could have Question on double there. Yeah, and just gone through the end like do you think you could have done it?

[00:04:57] Oh, yeah, I imagine like the three of us as a team on double-dead. Oh, man It'd be over. You know what like what do you think the hardest one was in the finals?

[00:05:07] There was the nose is pretty nose is tough. The nose is tough. It's a crapshoot, right? Sometimes they get so lucky and sometimes they're all like If you don't get it right away, it's just like you're probably not getting there was a similar one

[00:05:23] They may have just done this in the in the reboot a few years back But it's like they do it with the couch and you have to like go in and like dig through the couch cushions in fight

[00:05:33] It's just like and like unless you just get luck luck of the draw There's no Dan. Have you heard about this Mark Summers one-man show in New York? I You send this to me. He's on stage just doing a black. He's doing he's on stage in the stage

[00:05:49] The stage set is double dare And he's like telling you the story of his life and it says it's like part one man show part double-dead And I just don't really understand it like going Come on down like I'm gonna see you work. Yeah, yeah off Broadway

[00:06:07] Maybe off off Dude those spirit the Spirit airline flights for $72 round trip out of Charlotte I feel like if you're not using them for this What are you using them for you know?

[00:06:17] Using them for Mark Summers and that's got a cost more than the ticket right like that to 75 bucks round trip That VIP like for hundo you know Moe, you know what you guys you want to know what's just coming in clutch though. I just met a guy

[00:06:34] Who is good friends with Mark Summers no How did how did this happen if the tickets are free? We're doing it Let me let me let me text this guy right now the tickets are free and it's called Dan It's called the life in slimes. Oh boy

[00:06:50] If the tickets are free the three of us are getting on the calendars after this recording and we're figuring it out Let me send this text in there Hey, I remember you're saying that you were good friends with Mark Summers period

[00:07:02] I just saw that he's doing a one-man show in New York period Do you think you could hook me up with tickets if I were to make my way up there question mark? We're doing it

[00:07:15] That is how it's done. Let's talk big way home fans all these homies came out to hear us Talk about it and we're you know ten minutes deep double dare and shower falls It's just like I'm not asking for Mark summer Broadway Hookups like

[00:07:30] I know we got to start but if I had never fallen in the shower Brandon Dan wouldn't become to do a live show after the Mark Summers show I mean, I don't know what to tell you Where are we doing the live show

[00:07:44] We're gonna do it with mark. Oh, of course, of course. Yeah. I don't know how He just said I am I could ask Wow Boy you hear that You're welcome everybody. Wow. It's happening. It's all coming together. Let's talk about the way home season two episode two

[00:08:04] Hanging by a moment here with you So name of the episode there is nothing here I'm originally aired on what is that? January 28th 2020, you know what stinks we only got one more episode then we have to take a week off because of the Super Bowl

[00:08:21] They don't do the Super Bowl so no I'm not the worst. Are you confirmed? Yeah, I think it's confirmed I'll miss it. Yeah me too. Yeah, yeah, I would have totally watched this Take take the Super Bowl give me the way home and Jesus

[00:08:36] I made it unfair and it would have something like this Alice pops out of the pond kid Elliot sees her and she's like I'm not supposed to be here So she jumps back in and ends up

[00:08:50] Back still there. Yes, so she runs to tell Elliot and Elliot is mad and is like All of this is because of you. You're the reason why all this is happening blah blah blah

[00:09:01] Then we see a glimpse of 1814 and we just see like blood is on the rock where she got shot We don't really know what's going on Alice starts to explain that

[00:09:13] They think that Jacob is still alive and time travel and this is blowing. He's back in present day This is blowing present day Elliot's mind cat wakes up. Here's people talking She heads upstairs. She sees an 1814 almanac and she thinks Alice is talking to Dell and

[00:09:34] Is trying to come up with a cover for where cat is because cats still missing and Also talking about how she's gonna go visit her dad remember that she's still going. Yeah, it's been a long day Yeah So these two people that are nursing cat back to health

[00:09:52] Also kind of seem to be holding her captive like this one guy's like make sure you don't let her go And she's like I don't know why this is my problem. Basically

[00:10:00] Dell talks to Elliot about so you know how the guy is to pull and he's leaving and so now she has all this extra anchorage She wants to open it up for young farmers to learn more about farming And apparently and these are her words soils real special

[00:10:17] Yep soil dirt wink soil is real Special on our first week of the episode Alice decides to try to find her mom jumps in the pond. She ends up you guessed it back in the year 2000

[00:10:32] And year 2000 Elliot is like hey you ruined everything. I never want to see you again I thought we have talked about this and she Jumps back in the pond. It does not take her this time

[00:10:45] Cat comes to and she decides now is my chance to make a run for it These dudes try to stop her but a woman on the horse She's the same woman that was nursing her back to health before she shows up

[00:10:59] Pulse her onto the horse and tells her to jump on they ride off Alice and 2000 Elliot sit by the water. They listen to third eye blind They talk about how they miss this thing that you know friendship and whatnot The woman tells cat that her name is Suzanne

[00:11:17] She asks cat how she knows Jacob because she kept saying Jacob's name While she was like in and out and Suzanne tells her that Jacob is living on the family farm cat

[00:11:30] Asks if he's doing well. She says yeah, he's a happy kid and cat is like oh my gosh And then she jumps in the pond pops back out in the present

[00:11:38] Alice at the same exact time also pops back out of the pond. She tells Alice the good news that Jacob Is alive he's alive in 1840 She decides to go to that manor to grab that painting

[00:11:53] Remember last week that looks like her from 1814 cuz thought that might contain some clues and whatnot Elliot is also there and Alice questions him as to why he never told her about the meeting

[00:12:06] That they had in the year 2000. I thought that I you said I'd never come back I clearly came back. We had two meetings and Elliot is like I can't do this anymore and he runs off We then see Dell

[00:12:19] Standing in the field talking to Colton that she's like envisioning that he's there And it's telling him that the town turned down the proposal for the the farm for kids campaign and He encourages her to Tell cat quote-unquote the truth

[00:12:37] Then she sees that horse again from last all the same or same Also, by the way rest in peace ride RIP right gone but not forgotten Janney. We love you. We love you Janney

[00:12:49] The farmer that is leaving shows up to say sorry to Dell because he heard about the cat the Tongue Lee there for kids campaign falling flat She's not there So he just basically spills the beams to Alice about how man

[00:13:06] She might lose the farm all this stuff and she's like I'll let her know you Alice tells her mom that she went back to 2000 and she is surprised to find out because

[00:13:18] That she had a conversation with Elliot because Elliot never told any of them about this seems some might say Little suspicious And so she goes to question him

[00:13:30] Like hey, why didn't she tell us you didn't tell me the truth and he's mad that she's coming in all accusatory So he's like the whole reason why I left in the first place is because I couldn't deal with the fact that you're responsible for

[00:13:43] Colton's death. That's right You tried to stop it and you're the reason why he's dead and she says I'll fix it. Just you watch She storms off which did seem like something you say and then I get after you say you walk out and go

[00:14:00] What did I what I mean by that? I don't know The next day Kat puts on Susanna's Jack and Susanna gave her a jacket on the way out and says goodbye to Alice and heads to the pond Which she comes out of the pond in 1814

[00:14:15] She sees a boy who looks an awful lot like Jacob running She yells after him he keeps running so she makes a run for it as well And that my friends was the way home season two Episode two How's it gonna be different song in that episode?

[00:15:45] We don't really have to sell it that hard but puppies so many puppies So many cute puppies Let's talk about the way home season two episode two Let's start with the hot take it is where we share exactly how we felt about this episode

[00:15:58] We do not hold back and I'm gonna start with my guy. Right, right. What'd you think of? the whale Let's start on this. Let's keep the three shot here for a second brand. We did it guys. We did it We do I we yeah, we did it I

[00:16:13] Was shaking during this episode like as as affirming of a villain reveal as you could ask for that's right That's right. Yeah And then there's like the chance that maybe they did it because of us this like so much Confident as team Lucas felt for you

[00:16:34] All right, so we'll obviously talk about Elliot as nefarious villain early and often but I was instantly Invested in the 1800 stuff because brand you had a good point last week like maybe

[00:16:45] You know, we might get sick of it. I think that hopefully we're not gonna spend too too much time there But what we saw this week. I really liked

[00:16:52] All of the stuff with Elliot in 2000 whether we're right or right or wrong or what have you it's like that stuff is Interesting from a dramatic standpoint. I love it. I love the storytelling components of it really really great there

[00:17:05] The Jacob reveal is a great moment of conflict for cat I'm gonna talk more about it and the wait what but I'm liking how they're handling all of that the cat and Elliot Argument was electric. It was well acted

[00:17:17] It was just everything about that one of my favorite scenes in the 12 episodes We've now had of the series not as strong of a cliffhanger, but that's okay It's like we can't judge every episode just by the last 30 seconds and then all right back

[00:17:32] That's a pretty good cliffhanger though. She's running after her brother Getting shot. Yeah gunshot pretty good cliffhanger though It's I'm grading on a curve absolutely But I will say this and we're gonna talk about this probably for the next 40 minutes

[00:17:44] But like if the plot of this show alright white witch school Jacob being lost in time pond is cool If the plot of this show is that in the year?

[00:17:53] 2000 Elliot got mad at a time traveling sort of kind of not really relative and he's hot plot hatched a 23-year plan to get his revenge. This is the best show ever ever about best show on Hallmark

[00:18:05] Ever the best show ever this is the time travel show we've been waiting and can I just add really quickly because Did you pick up on some sort of? Tension between 2000 Elliot and Alice yes, yes like a like there's something there

[00:18:24] Do you think it's possible that this man is gonna get? His heart broken by not just the mother but also by the daughter Can you imagine a world where you your first love is a woman named cats?

[00:18:40] And you are saying oh, I love this girl and then she goes through a bunch of trauma And it's and she ends up leaving she's and he's like this is it for me and then you meet that woman's daughter from the future and

[00:18:54] You start to have some feelings Two years two seasons in a row It is crazy They're 100% were sparks. Yes, it was unfortunate I don't know All I'm saying but all I'm saying is this in the year 2024

[00:19:18] 23 whatever and in that timeline she is a minor. Yes, and he is not Well that would be reprehensible They've already done a version of this last season with Jacob with Del and Roy No with with with Alice and what's the what's that? Yeah? She clearly doesn't care

[00:19:37] She doesn't care cuz in her mind like she's still a kid. She sees a kid course and shit like there's still Yes, she sees them as two different people if but I just want to say this if you fall in love

[00:19:51] She breaks your heart and then someone from that same family also breaks your heart You're gonna be a villain. There's no way the this guy This is a villain story of all villain stories

[00:20:03] My heart was broken by the mother and the daughter. It's the best show ever if this is actually Want to be very very clear. I don't even know if you've given a hot take but we've got we cannot go a second further

[00:20:15] I want to be very clear. There is no way in hell They say that on the way home by the way with this we're allowed to say hell There is no way in hell that Hallmark is going to make that The overarching plot of the way home

[00:20:32] No way having said that if it is But this shows them amazing we didn't think that she was gonna fall for somebody in 1999 and she did but this shows Amazing

[00:20:45] It's unbelievable. If that's if that's where they're going it just is it would be one of the better time travel plots I've ever sit like yes, it's like interesting and innovative it would be incredible

[00:20:57] Yeah, I also don't know if you gave a hot take sorry, I didn't really my I mean my Hot take is that I love this episode. I thought this episode was fantastic

[00:21:06] And I it did so much for the like just setting up little things like even like random throwaway lines Like now we know that Elliot is related to the the people that helped cat cat

[00:21:21] But also kind of held her captive like a throwaway line like hey, that's my definitely not a throwaway line Yes, but he said it's just like one line And like just like that put it your back pocket just stuff like that

[00:21:35] Like definitely something going on with the soil like you don't have that was you don't have you don't have Dell Touching the soil and be like this is good stuff. It's like there's not gonna be something going on with the soil

[00:21:48] Just a lot about this episode that I thought was fantastic Really excited for next week that that's the thing with this show is it just it does such a great job of Me wishing it was just bingeable because I just want the next episode

[00:22:03] Almost like it was made for Netflix dano Yeah, I'm still a little mixed But I'm warm. I'm warm man Here's my thing guys is the good notes of what we're getting in season two are better than anything in season one But it still feels a little

[00:22:22] Sequel-y to me it feels like it's too big to bloated too many storylines You know season one is very direct We're going back to this one particular place in time a familial tragedy happened

[00:22:35] It led to another tragedy. How do we unpack this one narrative and how do all these characters? Deepen into that world. I feel like we're more like a mile wide and an inch thick here

[00:22:46] I am worried some of the stuff I love what are Colton and Dell not telling the family? Yeah, huge Huge telling the truth people are saying it's time be huge Elliott Elliott nefarious villain huge He cannot be a villain um the 1814 stuff

[00:23:11] Mix bag for me the Jacob stuff we know he mixed bag for me the Is he is catastrophe denial about killing her dad? Mix bag are they gonna break the rules of time travel? Alice just decides to stay home all instead of going to to meanapolis

[00:23:25] Dell is with this farm and how's she gonna keep the land it just special soil just feels like To make sure everyone knows that the first season wasn't a fluke

[00:23:36] They've decided to get to go bigger. It happens with a lot of sequels and so I'm a little concerned But this episode was encouraging Especially after the prior episode, so I think I'm getting there

[00:23:52] Also, I've been called big and bloated in the chat by Beth and so now I'm getting bullied for my weight So thanks Beth. I appreciate that. I'm gonna cry myself to sleep somebody who has never called you fat That's right as offense. That's right as your friend

[00:24:51] If they want Jacob in in in 2023 they have to time travel forward What's the eight again, sorry he's never been there his story ended in 1999 and he went backwards for him so in order to get 23 he has to time travel forward

[00:25:08] That's why they can never do it. That's what's beautiful about this show in my opinion is you can't fix tragedy You love through tragedy you hope to tragedy you get closer through tragedy

[00:25:18] You can't fix it and if they bring Jacob back to present that hurts that stings this show it does not help it Sorry, not sorry But if he does time travel were you with me there? I said I said no I said you hated the opposite

[00:25:32] Oh, but if Elliot time travels forward to get revenge on Dell for breaking his heart Then that's just good to listen if if somehow the reason that Elliot knows everything in every timeline is because he's the one guy the

[00:25:46] One piece on the chessboard that can just hop willy-nilly and think of a Nobody else can do it because he's the last of his family left Yeah, let's go right now like his

[00:26:01] Think about it like if his family somehow like they like are they like did they find them like are they responsible for The pod we don't know we don't know they're clearly they're clearly a family of influence So clearly a family of influence in 1840

[00:26:17] Give me a couple more lines away home man It's a good smile. You just real quick. This is why you can't binge them. You just Well on the way home

[00:26:26] But what I want to go out it's time for all the fields where we talk about what in this episode gave us Feels and I we've talked about a lot of feels so far, but let's find out Ryan

[00:26:36] What gave you feels I'll go off the board of what we've talked about so far I'd be remiss if I didn't use my time here to discuss that cat got shot last week I was mad because they showed us that she was upright

[00:26:46] But you know what I rescind that because this woman got shot and she's basically spritin Marathons 15 minutes. This woman is a warrior. Like, you know, it's like I don't care that it was a grazing shot Like she should be like, you know put her in the Avengers

[00:27:02] It was I was inspiring quite frankly Dan when I found out it was just a graze. I was less impressed Also real quick, so I also like that they did a callback actually Dan this goes to your point from a few minutes ago

[00:27:15] I like that they did a if you're listening or call back to the joke from the pilot I don't remember what was said but Alice has something to Elliot and the people walk in and they did a version of that

[00:27:25] I'm done with you and like I'm done. I can't be involved. I can't be involved with you or your mother Yeah, it's funny. Say hello to your mother for good job the scene where they're in the they're in the

[00:27:40] The old house and in present day and it cuts to this Shot from above aiming down at Elliot with ominous music and there's like voices he's hearing something or replaying something and said it was as gratifying of a moment for me as somebody whose team villain

[00:28:04] As as you can get like it seemed like the muse the whole vibe there screamed villain and I Loved it. They know just taunting us Taunting us even the way that it shot even the way that it shot it just screamed like point

[00:28:21] I will say this because they either listen to us or decided to do this and we happen to call it Which is even crazier than them listening to us in my opinion if they are doing this just to make him still a good guy

[00:28:35] I think it hurts the show I don't think it helps the show because what did you do? You just changed the lighting and made him scowl and you just he's a completely different character in scenes in this

[00:28:45] Like he's not a guy that's seen some things and some stuff and left for seven months He all of a sudden in episode two. He is like Everything is like scowly furrowed like it is not a good look if he turns out to be a good guy

[00:29:00] It just isn't but that's not my feels my feels is pretty easy How's it gonna be third-eye blind? Yeah, I don't need to say anymore They decided that they had some bangers in the first episode. What do we do?

[00:29:15] Let's break out a little third-eye blind. How's it gonna be and listen MP3 player on the beach? It doesn't man I don't want to hear about the characters That was it. Yeah, but especially if you're doing one earbud with you one earbud with your time trial

[00:29:28] That's pretty much first base. I mean forget about it. You know Forget about your MP3 players 25 songs in it. You're sharing an earbud there with somebody You don't do that with just anyone. No, no, don't do that with Justin. I don't know Say a break. We'll come back

[00:29:45] Sinkers swim and the early nude here on deck the whole Welcome back everybody We're having a good time today the way home season 2 episode 2. I'm having a good time at least

[00:30:07] Time for the wait what it's where we talk about what in this episode may just go wait what's right So I will say that two episodes in I'm less invested on the Jacob of it all than I was last year because everything else has been for me

[00:30:20] Really exciting but I know cat doesn't know where her daughter is because she's an 1814 But she has been told that Jacob is like, I don't know three miles away and she says, you know what?

[00:30:32] I'll just come back later. Like I thought that it's good from a dramatic standpoint But I don't think that if this was a real Circumstance that this woman who has been grappling with this issue for the majority of her life

[00:30:44] I don't know if that's the way she was gone And I to your point Ryan because I agree with that wait what 100% They tried their best to make her go through that character conflict internally when she's like, yes

[00:30:57] I do need to know where Alice is gonna be and her thinking but Jacob and then thinking but my daughter and then finally going as A parent my daughter is more important than my brother and making that choice. It just doesn't hold water. No pun intended

[00:31:12] It just doesn't it doesn't wise and just because of the years and years in here. Yes You've got to believe that if even if you go back your daughter's still there Maybe she's in a different time like this is a chance case. She's in the present worst case

[00:31:26] She's in the year 2000 because that's the only place she ever goes That's right like but also you process through that I think yeah, I mean no You know cat shows up in 1814 for the first time by that theory then Alice can travel

[00:31:38] That's true. That's true. I think the thing that's tough about this is is that Jacob is the central mystery that we've kind of put on the back burner

[00:31:46] And I really don't care personally any more about him which is crazy to think about but the reason I don't care is because Unless they do this thing

[00:31:55] It's it feels like they're gonna drag this thing along all season with her finally getting to look at her brother face-to-face in his eyes That's what it feels like But she can't take him back with them

[00:32:07] She can't take him back with her and for me. I'm kind of dreading that I'm dreading that whole thing because either they play it great And you might move me to tears because she can't take her brother back and she can't really

[00:32:19] Or they're gonna take him back and that's gonna be worse. So I I just I just I'm with you 100% on that She's it just is not that is a much easier decision than she's making it out to be

[00:32:31] Yeah, they did their best with it, but it just didn't land for me With that said this guy Thomas mistook cat for a deer. That's on the list of bad excuses. That's that's that's not coming

[00:32:43] If I'm Alice, I know they kind of resolve this by the end of the episode I'm out on Minneapolis the moment my dad says I have to do an internship

[00:32:51] To do or that shouldn't have taken 20 more minutes of episode time for her to be like, you know what? You know we at the time traveling pond maybe I'll just say it's like I don't want to work

[00:33:26] 20ish minutes later. Did I miss something or was that how it went? We yeah as far as I wrote like we don't see her make the pitch I do think I feel like there was like a quick mention of it outside of the house to Elliot like hey

[00:33:40] It didn't work out or something like that, but I yeah, but there definitely isn't much it's definitely goes from hey I have this idea. That's just not how government works like you're you're gonna that's that's those that's years

[00:33:52] Permits take a day. I think we should do the farm for kids thing. Let's think about it for a few months We'll talk about it. We'll talk about it I only I only have one and again, I don't want to keep harping on

[00:34:05] People's choices when it comes to wet clothing, but but you're gonna I'm going to just give it up buddy If this is not listen if she wants to jump in and jeans that is now her choice But she clearly loves it

[00:34:18] She does it again this episode where she could have changed in anything and she chose not to that's it is what it is What it is But imagine someone Coming into your house soaking wet and saying hey pop a squat on my leather couch

[00:34:36] Totally cool with me Elliot. You're a villain Just an insane And to throw them up not a towel. It's like a it's like a wool blanket It's like that it just so many choices made there, but I if you are if you're soaking wet

[00:34:53] I'm gonna be like could you Stay sit stand over there outside. We'll talk out there. You're not sitting on a leather couch She's you're not anywhere near a coat on to I believe with your with your soaking wet jeans Get out of here stop it just there Dana

[00:35:11] Yeah, I Did not find the dirt winks to be great dialogue They they mentioned that the Landry dirt is important And they try to do it in this sneaky throwaway fashion two or three times. I just thought it was really ham-fisted

[00:35:28] That's either here nor there for a weight what I just needed to throw it out there I didn't know where else to put it my big weight

[00:35:33] What is is that cat is about to get back in the pond to go see Alice and they're like Jacob Landry's here He's on the Landry farm and then cat goes can you take me there? Well, I've got news for you One you're there You know that land

[00:35:55] because you live there You live there now it could be in a different place But you should still be able to manage the woods without a guide

[00:36:07] It is crazy to me that she's lived there her whole life and is like I need somebody to take me to the Landry farm You're not no no that's your family's land. It's been in your family for generations and generations. You know this story

[00:36:22] How do you need some help here? I mean you might you might get lost a little bit, but there's a finite amount of space for you to find this farm

[00:36:31] Just go just go do it wait for her to leave and then just go and do the thing. It's pretty straightforward Anybody have thoughts on that or just me just you okay great. I think you nailed it bud. Yeah, thanks, man

[00:36:45] I I love this farmer who's selling his land Rolling into the Landry farm in his truck and going tell Dell. I'm sorry And then Alice is like sorry for what and he's like well, you know the plot of season two

[00:37:01] You know that one farm less than she's trying to fix it. It's a no-go She's in trouble probably gonna lose everything sure she told you about Loaded all that on her granddaughter. I know I'm not the first to tell you the plot of the season two

[00:37:17] I'm sure you've heard it already What is happening? This is the weirdest like they are like how in the world can we get Alice to know that the farm's in trouble? She could overhear some people in town. She could hear Dell on the phone

[00:37:33] What if old man Reagan stops by and tells you the whole plot of season Old man out of town in his short bed half-ton Ford are you kidding me? But also like read a book man like she's clearly confused. This is clearly the first she's heard of this

[00:37:51] Yeah Dude crazy and then lastly and I hate to be this guy with my history wait what's but They're in Canada. They're not in the United States. They're in Canada now. They are close to the border It is 1814 they referenced the War of 1812 one thing

[00:38:10] Canada is British and soo everyone there is speaking in a British accent. You think James Senty needs something are we good? Everyone there is speaking in a British accent aside from Susanna who's speaking an American accent

[00:38:26] We don't know why maybe that's a wait. What maybe it's not but then they talk Extensively about the war the US tried to invade Canada about three times all in 1812 and did so with very little success

[00:38:41] Canada is where Britain regrouped to try to like fund the Native Americans with guns They made and to help them win back the territory it is just a mischaracterization of everything going on in Canada in 1814 unless their farm is right on the border

[00:38:58] Unless their farm is right on the border of America and Canada Then none of that talk holds water And it's a weird time to place this story When you don't really have the history to back it up and maybe I'm wrong and somebody can correct me

[00:39:11] But that is my understanding of the war of 1812. That's all I got Awesome, thank you man. No, no, no, I knew it was good. I knew it was good when I was saying

[00:39:50] I do know if it's a music related. I got that history down it's time for Sinkerswim yeah, it is so we talk about things mainly of the sinking and swimming Like for instance right now the lighting in Ryan's house is sinking

[00:40:44] I don't want to the last thing, you know, there was no logical place for me to put this but Elliott Saying listen, we all know what we feel at this point like, you know, and if we're right

[00:40:53] I think we should be if we're wrong a miscarriage of justice has happened But Elliott saying that he gets Colton's ghosts advice And then but then really admits that he just Elliott just gives himself whatever advice he feels best is the workings of a super villain

[00:41:11] Yeah, that's a psychopath right. I mean that like genuinely he's like I talked to Colton But really I just whatever advice Colton gives me is really for me

[00:41:19] And so I just do whatever I think of my mentor what he would say and then I tell him to f all the way off Yeah So I'm sinking or slipping on that excuse me. I'm gonna go turn the lights on Fair enough. I mean my my sink

[00:41:34] My actually my swim I I'm intrigued to find out listen, I know I You have to take some Leaps in Predicting that Elliot's and Alice are gonna have a thing I know it doesn't necessarily mean true love when you listen to an mp3 one ear one ear

[00:42:00] On a rock looking at the water. It doesn't automatically mean love probably means love doesn't automatically I Don't know if they're gonna do anything with it My my my it is both the sink and a swim because I'm nervous if they do I'm nervous if they don't situation

[00:42:17] But I'm intrigued to see what happens there Dana My I have one prediction I'll call that a swim that in 1814 the dude on the beard who's trying to keep Alice there on the beard On the beard on the horse with got it

[00:42:33] Different we don't have time but different on the blurring things The dude with the beard on the horse that is is helping take like who shoots a cat by accident And then is helping take care of her. I think they're going to do an outlander love triangle

[00:42:50] Her him and Elliot different time periods That's just a fun prediction for season two and then the other thing could be a sink could be a swim I need to know more about Wally's chip truck

[00:43:01] Dale just rolls in and just casually is like I got you lunch from your favorite place Wally's chip truck Is that a Canada thing? Is it just potato chips? Is this like a poutine situation? What's going on here?
