[00:05:30] Let's run away.

[00:05:31] And he says, if I run, Jacob dies.

[00:05:34] He says, I have to tell you something though.

[00:05:38] way back when I was aiming for Cyrus.

[00:05:41] And so she then blames herself

[00:05:44] that everything has happened, happened because

[00:05:46] she came out of the water.

[00:05:47] Huh.

[00:05:49] Not wrong, but he tells her, hey,

[00:05:51] get out of here, but I'm going to kiss you a hard one.

[00:05:55] And also here's two coins.

[00:05:58] Yeah, but he says it means there's a couple of coins.

[00:06:03] She's back in the present at the newspaper,

[00:06:05] the archive, if you will,

[00:06:07] and is thinking about Thomas

[00:06:09] and all the good times.

[00:06:10] She turns around and throws that gun

[00:06:13] that she has on display in a box.

[00:06:16] At the cafe, Noah comes up.

[00:06:17] Remember Noah?

[00:06:18] And Alice tells him to get lost.

[00:06:20] We all remember why she's mad.

[00:06:22] Yes, of course.

[00:06:23] Oh yeah.

[00:06:24] I don't have to tell you.

[00:06:25] No one has to tell me.

[00:06:27] So he leaves, then Casey shows up.

[00:06:29] We all remember Casey

[00:06:30] and comes up and says,

[00:06:32] Hi, Alice says,

[00:06:35] I guess we're going to be seeing some more of each other now

[00:06:36] that your dad bought the land.

[00:06:38] And Casey's like,

[00:06:40] Yeah, my dad bought the land.

[00:06:42] Alice has Casey to promise

[00:06:44] that their family will always take good care of the farm.

[00:06:48] Casey says,

[00:06:50] you bet, Chef.

[00:06:51] I'll get them shows up.

[00:06:52] She's Sarah Paylon?

[00:06:53] Hey, you bet, you bet.

[00:06:55] At the farm, Sam shows up and tells Del

[00:06:58] having to think about getting a new horse now that you're

[00:07:00] over there.

[00:07:01] You see a horse?

[00:07:02] Yeah, hang on.

[00:07:02] That really sounded like horse.

[00:07:03] Those would be clean.

[00:07:04] Thank you.

[00:07:04] Yes, I do.

[00:07:06] She's not even,

[00:07:07] doesn't really want to have a conversation.

[00:07:26] And seems like what's long as you're happy

[00:07:28] about signing the papers and selling your family farm.

[00:07:31] Alice tells Elliot how she blames herself

[00:07:34] for cat and Del not talking all

[00:07:37] of these years.

[00:07:37] And Elliot says, there's more of this store

[00:07:39] and you're going to find out about it soon.

[00:07:41] She will because she jumps and she ends up in 2008.

[00:07:45] She goes to find Elliot who tells her

[00:07:47] that he just finished teacher school,

[00:07:49] teacher teacher.

[00:07:50] Elliot says he hasn't spoken to cats since the whole

[00:07:55] hit the hand and the thing,

[00:07:57] that party, bad party time.

[00:08:00] And Del wins back home to North Carolina for a few weeks.

[00:08:06] Or Carolina, how about that?

[00:08:08] Cat then shows up and says, hey,

[00:08:10] I'd like to talk so Alice goes and she hops.

[00:08:14] On present day, Elliot and Cat are talking

[00:08:16] about how she and she tells him,

[00:08:19] tells her, you got it.

[00:08:21] Elliot and Cat are talking and she tells him

[00:08:24] about Thomas getting shot

[00:08:26] and shows the coins.

[00:08:28] And he is blown away by these coins from the 1800s.

[00:08:32] And she's like, hey,

[00:08:35] my dead old lover from the 1800s gave those to me.

[00:08:38] Some respect please.

[00:08:39] Back in 2008, Cat tells Elliot that she's embarrassed

[00:08:46] about what happened at the party.

[00:08:48] And you know, but I do want to fix things

[00:08:50] and I want to fix things also with my mom.

[00:08:53] She tells him about how she needed a break

[00:08:54] from being a mom and that it's hard

[00:08:56] and she's feeling a little bit lost.

[00:08:57] And he tells her, I'm sure that you're an amazing mom

[00:09:00] and Cat is about to leave.

[00:09:02] And she says, Elliot, will you please give my mom

[00:09:05] this envelope and has a picture of Baby Allison

[00:09:07] and a plane ticket to come and visit?

[00:09:09] He's like, well, I'm leaving.

[00:09:10] There's something I can tell I'm leaving.

[00:09:12] I'm finished teacher school.

[00:09:14] I'm leaving.

[00:09:15] So at this point that his dad comes in

[00:09:17] and is like, oh yeah,

[00:09:19] I'll give that to your mom no problem.

[00:09:23] JK.

[00:09:24] She walks out the door and he's like,

[00:09:25] Landry suck.

[00:09:26] Am I right son?

[00:09:28] Alice says goodbye to Elliot's and leaves.

[00:09:31] In present day, Cat once again tries

[00:09:34] to convince Del not to sell the farm saying,

[00:09:36] hey, you're going to regret it.

[00:09:38] Alice goes to find Elliot, gives him a hug.

[00:09:40] Thanks him for encouraging Cat back in 2008.

[00:09:43] Alice notices Elliot's open notebook

[00:09:48] and says, hey, what's she working on here?

[00:09:49] And he's like, well, I got a theory.

[00:09:50] It's called the Finn theory.

[00:09:52] My theory is that the pond won't let you time travel

[00:09:56] with somebody of a Landry forward.

[00:10:00] But maybe we could travel back if I jump in with you now

[00:10:03] since we're both here then we could potentially go back

[00:10:06] and she's like, well, there's only one way to find out.

[00:10:09] Let's jump in and so they go.

[00:10:11] They get to the pond, they jump in

[00:10:12] and they pop out and it works.

[00:10:15] We think in present day, Cat walks alone

[00:10:19] in the cemetery, she sees Susana's grave.

[00:10:23] Cat wipes Susana's grave off and sees a symbol

[00:10:26] of a sun in the corner and she has a memory

[00:10:30] of the same painting, the mycatharine painting

[00:10:33] that has that same sun symbol in the corner.

[00:10:37] Did Susana paint that painting?

[00:10:39] Who knows?

[00:10:40] Back in the past, Alice and Elliot see Colton working

[00:10:45] and Alice says, hey, you should go talk to him.

[00:10:47] So he tells Colton, hey, I'm lost, stumbled upon your farm here

[00:10:50] and Colton invites him to help run electricity

[00:10:54] to this barn so that her daughter's friend, Elliot,

[00:10:57] could have electricity in a special spot.

[00:11:00] He explains that they built this treehouse together

[00:11:02] so that it would always have a place to escape his tough dad.

[00:11:06] Elliot comes close to warning Colton about the future

[00:11:09] but stops himself because he knows.

[00:11:11] Yeah, can't do that.

[00:11:14] In present day, Cat looks at the painting

[00:11:17] and sees some letters on it that she's never noticed before.

[00:11:20] I don't know if you remember this Susana, she writes backwards.

[00:11:22] She writes backwards.

[00:11:23] So do it that way.

[00:11:24] If you put a mirror on it, it says, I love the devil.

[00:11:29] That brings her to a stone on the house fireplace

[00:11:32] with those same letters so she chips that,

[00:11:35] stone out and inside of it is a book

[00:11:40] called The Founding of Port Haven written by Susana.

[00:11:43] Susana left a note saying, hey, this was

[00:11:46] in a story that I was able to tell in my time,

[00:11:48] maybe you could tell it in your time.

[00:11:50] And also includes the page

[00:11:53] that Jacob had ripped out of the Almanac

[00:11:56] if you recall that information.

[00:11:58] Back in time, Alice and Elliot

[00:12:00] watch the landries and young Elliot play with fireworks

[00:12:05] and that scene that we saw earlier in the season.

[00:12:08] And sees Colton having a conversation with young Elliot

[00:12:11] about the tree house.

[00:12:12] He's so happy about the electricity who wouldn't be.

[00:12:16] Adult Elliot shifts a little bit, causes

[00:12:20] a branch cracking sound and they're like, hey, somebody's there.

[00:12:23] And so they decide they're going to scurry away.

[00:12:26] Someone is still there.

[00:12:27] And as they scurry away, we see another person

[00:12:30] who is also watching.

[00:12:32] We remember this scene from earlier in the season.

[00:12:34] Yeah, from the pilot.

[00:12:36] We see a few.

[00:12:37] We see a rise to it could be.

[00:12:39] We still don't know what this meant.

[00:12:40] They get back to present day and when he walks in,

[00:12:44] Elliot has a flashback of his dad putting the envelope

[00:12:48] of Dell down on that table that is still right there.

[00:12:51] So he pulls that drawer open, can't find it.

[00:12:54] And then turns on a flashlight,

[00:12:55] sees the envelope back there kind of stuck

[00:12:58] to the side of the table inside.

[00:13:01] The innards, the innards of the table.

[00:13:03] Yes, sure.

[00:13:04] If you will.

[00:13:05] And he's like, oh my gosh, my dad never gave this to Dell.

[00:13:08] Can you believe this?

[00:13:09] And so they run to go make things right.

[00:13:13] And Dell is like, wow, this is amazing.

[00:13:15] Of course I didn't know about this.

[00:13:17] And cats like, you never got this.

[00:13:19] And Dell's like, no, I never got it.

[00:13:20] If I would have if you would have sent me a plane ticket,

[00:13:23] of course I would have come.

[00:13:24] I didn't know.

[00:13:25] I didn't know.

[00:13:26] She doesn't say I didn't know about.

[00:13:27] It was big hug.

[00:13:28] They hugged out their their their their goods again.

[00:13:31] Casey comes over and says, hey,

[00:13:33] Dell, I've got some news.

[00:13:35] My dad, you know my dad, he's pulling out of the deal.

[00:13:40] The other you know the deal was done.

[00:13:42] It's not done anymore.

[00:13:43] I can't do it.

[00:13:44] It's bad bad bad except me.

[00:13:46] Set me is child to come and tell you deals off.

[00:13:51] We ripped it up and tells like, oh my gosh.

[00:13:54] So later they're all having dinner together.

[00:13:56] Not Casey but everybody else,

[00:13:57] including Sam Stits down in Colton's chair.

[00:13:59] Can you believe this guy?

[00:14:00] Oh, this mofo.

[00:14:02] Elliott says, hey, Dell, I got good news.

[00:14:04] I know you still are trying to figure out a way now

[00:14:05] to save the farm.

[00:14:07] Now that there's no deal,

[00:14:08] well, can I have some rare coins?

[00:14:10] I'm sure she's told you about that.

[00:14:12] They actually say plot device on it from the 1800s

[00:14:15] and I had them appraised by a coin guy.

[00:14:18] Yeah, coin boy.

[00:14:19] I've got a coin guy.

[00:14:19] Um, and these coin guy,

[00:14:23] these coins are going to do

[00:14:25] it was worth a small fortune.

[00:14:28] And I think it's going to save the farm.

[00:14:29] And Dell is like, finally,

[00:14:31] somebody is willing to give me money

[00:14:34] to save the farm.

[00:14:36] Thank you.

[00:14:39] Later though, Dell tells Sam, I'm glad for my neighbor.

[00:14:42] I like knowing that your next door

[00:14:45] and can come over for a nearly new segment at any time.

[00:14:48] She didn't say that last part but we all read into it.

[00:14:51] And Elliott's, oh there it is.

[00:14:52] At Elliott's house,

[00:14:55] Kat shows him the book

[00:14:57] that she found in the fireplace.

[00:14:59] And Kat says, hey, I think I'm going to

[00:15:01] publish this joint.

[00:15:02] Yeah.

[00:15:03] Kind of steal steal steal the work.

[00:15:06] He said the record straight about the time.

[00:15:07] And Elliott is like, wow that's

[00:15:10] amazing also tells her, hey, I time traveled.

[00:15:13] So that's a pretty big deal.

[00:15:16] And they end up kissing

[00:15:17] and then Kat's like, hey, I just need some time.

[00:15:20] Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:15:22] Dude, hey time need time.

[00:15:24] I was doing this.

[00:15:25] I'm doing two and a half decades.

[00:15:26] I need some time.

[00:15:27] So she goes to the woods to think about Thomas

[00:15:30] as you do after you kiss another guy.

[00:15:32] And it's just like man, what about

[00:15:34] and even like kind of envisions him there.

[00:15:36] And at that this point

[00:15:38] that someone pops out of the pond

[00:15:40] is it Thomas?

[00:15:42] Is it Susanna?

[00:15:43] No.

[00:15:44] It's Jacob.

[00:15:46] Oh, Crane?

[00:15:47] It is Jacob.

[00:15:48] Jacob's come home.

[00:15:50] He's found his way the way home.

[00:15:51] Oh my god.

[00:15:55] And he tells Kat, I'm ready.

[00:15:57] I'm ready to come home.

[00:15:58] So they hook

[00:16:01] and Alice noticed earlier,

[00:16:04] Casey's necklace if you remember that.

[00:16:05] I was like, this looks a little ring on the necklace.

[00:16:08] That looks a whole lot like

[00:16:10] same thing that I've been wearing

[00:16:11] that my parents gave me

[00:16:13] and her mom sent her a picture

[00:16:16] of the two of them together

[00:16:16] and she zooms in and she sees the necklace.

[00:16:18] It's like, this is the same necklace.

[00:16:20] Could it be that Casey is

[00:16:22] is Alice's child?

[00:16:24] Maybe.

[00:16:26] We don't get that answer.

[00:16:29] So at at Elliott's

[00:16:32] he looks at the wall remember

[00:16:33] and he decides, you know what now is the time

[00:16:35] to finally demolish this.

[00:16:37] Yay we did it.

[00:16:39] Kat and Jacob are walking towards the house

[00:16:42] and Jacob takes Kat's hand

[00:16:45] and it's like, are you sure you want to

[00:16:47] Kat's like are you sure you want to do this

[00:16:48] and it's like yeah I do

[00:16:51] Elijah and Susanna they told me that I should go

[00:16:54] and you know even Thomas told me

[00:16:56] that came and Kat said hold on a second

[00:16:58] there cowboy Thomas is dead.

[00:16:59] He's like uh-uh

[00:17:02] he's not dead, he's surely alive.

[00:17:05] He was wearing armor in metal armor

[00:17:08] underneath the shirt yeah.

[00:17:10] He was wearing as Dan sang

[00:17:13] armor underneath his shirts

[00:17:15] which caused the bullet not to pierce

[00:17:18] any skin whatsoever

[00:17:20] and uh it's like wow that's incredible.

[00:17:52] And then we see Flashback to the 1800s

[00:17:55] and we see that scene where it's like

[00:19:53] ride right like right at it's true

[00:19:55] ride had a twist that we all called

[00:19:57] in the season premiere

[00:19:59] every episode was predictable

[00:20:01] the acting wasn't particularly good

[00:20:03] there was a lot of tarps

[00:20:05] we

[00:20:06] i'm not here to tell you that ride is

[00:20:07] a better show than the way home

[00:20:10] however what i will tell you is that it

[00:20:12] creeped upon uh so bad it's good territory

[00:20:15] i'm not even going to say it got there but

[00:20:16] it creeped there yeah

[00:20:17] a lot of fun and we knew

[00:20:19] though those showrunners knew where they

[00:20:21] were going they knew what they were

[00:20:23] doing for better or emphasis here

[00:20:25] for worse here's what happened

[00:20:27] here's what happened on the way home

[00:20:28] though they came up with this colton

[00:20:30] twist i believe it was either the premiere

[00:20:32] episode two

[00:20:33] and then they got really really really

[00:20:36] excited about season three and four

[00:20:39] and they forgot about this little thing

[00:20:41] called season two episode three

[00:20:43] through season two episode ten

[00:20:47] brand how long did you just talk for 18 minutes

[00:20:49] so long uh yeah about 16 minutes

[00:20:52] nothing happened in this episode

[00:20:55] nothing happened and a few things that did

[00:20:58] happen Jacob just pops up out of nowhere

[00:21:00] there was there wasn't even an inciting

[00:21:03] incident the whole first two seasons of

[00:21:05] this show are about Jacob except for the

[00:21:09] episodes that were actually supposed to

[00:21:11] be about Jacob that's really bad

[00:21:14] i i think i know where they're going

[00:21:16] with the colton stuff or maybe i don't

[00:21:18] the problem is everything is so terribly

[00:21:20] convoluted from the the first scene of

[00:21:23] this episode it felt like a parody we

[00:21:26] talked about this when Jacob was rowing

[00:21:28] backwards on the boat doing the robo roya

[00:21:30] boat earlier this season it's like

[00:21:31] they filmed that weird this was the same

[00:21:33] thing it seemed like a historical parody

[00:21:36] all of this was so stupid uh they they

[00:21:39] have Elliott give us the speech about how

[00:21:42] the show works that we've known for 20

[00:21:44] episodes except that's actually not how

[00:21:47] the show works by the end of the episode

[00:21:50] um uh del didn't even meet Jacob

[00:21:53] yeah yeah the only thing that three of us

[00:21:54] work is great great listen sometimes

[00:21:56] sometimes surprises are good sometimes

[00:21:58] it's good to take the audience on a

[00:22:00] journey they're not expecting however

[00:22:02] this means we're gonna be not only be an 18

[00:22:04] 14 next season but also wherever the heck

[00:22:07] kid colton was from this show stinks i can't

[00:22:09] wait for season three nicely done nicely done

[00:22:13] that's good stuff and you know what

[00:22:16] with them on ride with them on ride

[00:22:18] not a better show but sometimes you just

[00:22:21] want a good cheeseburger or bad cheeseburger

[00:23:12] overall now knowing everything that we know

[00:23:14] it does seem like season two was a bit

[00:23:17] a bit of a waste a bit of a waste i do think

[00:23:19] we have set some things up for season three

[00:23:22] call me a hopeless romantic but i do

[00:23:28] set the foundation of what could be a good

[00:23:31] season in season three unfortunately

[00:23:39] should have been episode six um i but i

[00:23:44] episode but who i loved i loved the

[00:23:47] episode okay i loved it and i got to say

[00:23:51] love trickery here because we had

[00:23:53] gotten to about uh thirty eight minutes into

[00:23:55] the episode and i had forgotten that we

[00:23:58] had no closure on Jacob which was the

[00:24:01] whole prediction that we had is i

[00:24:02] what do you think that would take up

[00:24:04] nothing had happened any pop thread on out of

[00:24:06] water i that was weird uh to to right point

[00:24:11] that was weird that was weird nice this

[00:24:14] way to say poorly written i've ever heard

[00:24:15] in my life but i like it's hard because i

[00:24:18] like i like Alice and Elliott's

[00:24:21] time traveling and i like the conversation that

[00:24:23] he was having to able to have with colton

[00:24:25] i like where they're setting up with colton even

[00:24:27] though that does uh there's lots of uh

[00:24:29] problems if we think that obviously

[00:24:32] obviously colton knows about time travel so

[00:24:34] we get it we're gonna have to deal with that

[00:24:35] at some point that colton knew about time

[00:24:37] travel and his son went missing and did

[00:24:41] nothing about it you we have some

[00:24:43] problems but i have faith i think season three

[00:24:46] is going to be a bomb season and by that i mean

[00:25:20] on how great season three is going to be

[00:25:22] even though they season two had not ended yet

[00:25:25] that's still bad that's like a telltale sign

[00:25:28] that i'm sorry i'm i'm sorry for yelling

[00:25:30] i just no please please no you it's it's

[00:25:33] deserved it's earned the thing about my buddy

[00:25:35] brand over here being the eternal optimist

[00:25:37] is that when when he does finally reach

[00:25:42] the all hope is lost place when he realized it

[00:25:46] in anything food whatever it is like if

[00:25:48] brain and i had a meal in Costa Rica at the airport

[00:25:51] and he was like it's american food i'm finally

[00:25:53] going to get some american food chicken tenders

[00:25:55] wings and then i knew in my head this food's

[00:25:58] probably not gonna be great when brain when

[00:26:00] it finally snaps for brand it's going to be

[00:26:02] really bad like he's going to have a really hard

[00:26:04] time and i feel bad for him already

[00:26:07] um right right guy and i are already there

[00:26:09] uh listen um there's a couple of different

[00:26:13] ways in which this episode is really terrible

[00:26:16] number one everything amazing about the first

[00:26:19] season hinges on loss um you know cat has lost

[00:26:27] her brother cat has lost her dad cat believes

[00:26:30] the pond is away for her to fix that and

[00:26:34] part of her way home is realizing that she can't

[00:26:37] she can't fix it and that there's beauty in the

[00:26:40] ashes and that we should move forward

[00:26:42] and we should more in loss but rejoice in life

[00:26:45] and find something to live for that's there

[00:26:49] for your your daughter your mom your town

[00:26:52] your your friends whatever it is um all that's

[00:26:55] gone all that just just right down the toilet

[00:26:58] it's gone you know why Jacob's back

[00:27:00] Colton's back everybody's back nothing matters

[00:27:04] so that's one that's one it took you all of 20

[00:27:07] episodes to ruin your time travel concede to

[00:27:10] make it about the fact that you can always bring people back to life

[00:27:13] whenever you want and it doesn't matter

[00:27:15] nothing matters everything can be fine it's okay

[00:27:19] Thomas isn't really shot uh Colton still alive

[00:27:22] Jacob's coming back this doesn't matter

[00:27:24] none of your consequences or consequences

[00:27:27] it's stupid that's one number two

[00:27:29] brain ran out of of runway on the music

[00:27:34] for an episode that didn't move the plot forward and all

[00:27:36] aside from Jacob coming back and also shows you

[00:27:40] how little they were doing the rest of the season

[00:27:43] the the amount of things for us to not move the football forward at all

[00:27:47] in this season a lot of stuff happens in this

[00:27:50] episode um we find out that the whole land

[00:27:53] deal that's been going on for 10 episodes

[00:27:56] doesn't matter doesn't matter people come back

[00:28:00] that weren't around for three four episodes

[00:28:02] the the the fact that she just takes the coin money

[00:28:04] and uses it like so much contrive

[00:28:08] BS in this episode to move us forward

[00:28:12] what where was that the one thing i'll say

[00:28:15] to brands hot take is this is if all of this happened in episode two

[00:28:20] i would do a big eye roll and go all right not my favorite

[00:28:24] but at least we're getting somewhere at least we're getting somewhere

[00:28:27] and we're gonna do something this season

[00:28:29] it didn't happen in episode two didn't happen in three or four or five or six

[00:28:34] it happened to end the season where literally nothing happens

[00:28:39] the fact that the Jacob storyline is where it is

[00:28:42] is is appalling um yeah i hated it i hated it hated it

[00:28:47] hated it and i after hearing Ryan talk

[00:28:52] we had a lot of fun on those ride episodes i didn't have to feel like i was just

[00:28:55] i didn't have to feel like i was raining down on people's parade every week on

[00:29:00] this podcast that's because the biggest sticks were rain

[00:29:03] the episode wait a minute the episode the show itself was bad

[00:29:07] but in a way that made this fun the way home is bad in a way that makes this

[00:29:12] unfortunate because now we're being bad on top of for people who there's a group

[00:29:18] i don't want to yuck somebody's yum every week where they there are some people

[00:29:21] that are still really locked in and i hate that with a movie it comes and goes

[00:29:25] it's done next movie with this show there are people that still love the show

[00:29:29] in every week i am lining up and putting a ball on the tee and i'm

[00:29:32] aiming square your head because i think it's dumb and it's stupid and i think it's not good

[00:29:37] and we need to do that with ride everybody knew it sucked

[00:29:40] we're dealing with everybody knew what we're dealing with

[00:29:44] hey yeah i and that's the one other thing i'll say is that Dan was out on this

[00:29:49] season before i was i actually really enjoyed episode one and two portions of three

[00:29:53] and then it's been downhill from there yeah it's it's i want to like this show i

[00:29:59] love season one what what what how lucky of a guy was i brand hit me up a couple

[00:30:04] days after christmas in 22 said you want to cover this show we don't know what it's about

[00:30:08] the three of us dingo says had no idea was about time travel what what a charm

[00:30:13] the life it was i hate that it's no longer good but i'd be lying if i said it's good

[00:30:19] y'all come on it's time for all the fields we were talking about i guess those feels

[00:30:25] right i have such a headache there was two things there was there is two things i like

[00:30:31] dan i'm gonna piggyback off what you just said and i kind of had a hunch that you were gonna talk

[00:30:34] about it i really really like the line where uh where cat says i really try to fix things but i

[00:30:40] just end up breaking them and the end of your point that should have been the whole premise of season

[00:30:45] two shouldn't not shouldn't like that should have been what all of season two is about but dan

[00:30:49] already articulated that better than i could have so i really liked that line and then yes

[00:30:53] what's all your trail name Evan Williams Evan Williams yeah those scenes with colton were really

[00:30:59] on the nose in 99 uh the writing was borderline manipulative but his performance was great it made

[00:31:05] me feel something there's been far too little of that this season very very well done on that

[00:31:10] aspect of the performance even if narratively all that stuff's kind of a mess but i thought he was

[00:31:15] no perfect in those couple scenes with colton and 99 uh listen i was surprised when jago popped up

[00:31:22] where are you i didn't see it coming i just had especially that point so surprised feels

[00:31:28] i really know what to like think about the fact that it happens to be honest with you like

[00:31:32] i just sit with it longer the fact that it just like he was like no and like to all the things that

[00:31:38] Ryan said like we were not privy to any of the conversations that he has uh convincing him to go

[00:31:46] uh that i did you know what but i was surprised i was surprised with that and then i i think

[00:31:52] you know i think i i predicted that that was colton standing i predicted it in the first

[00:31:59] episode i believe one of us did yeah we had a conversation talk about it when he turns around

[00:32:04] oh yeah i like the the reveals the surprises still work for me

[00:32:16] uh brand shoot and he's working on truth yeah i'm so happy it works for you buddy and you know

[00:52:55] accomplishments really in the history of my life yeah thank you um it became clear no thank you

[00:53:01] it became clear to me and about the last 10 minutes one of the few things I got excited about

[00:53:06] was that nearly nude neighbor guy is gonna be a villain in season three because everything is

[00:53:12] lining up way too perfectly with him and Dell and all this other stuff and that excited me

[00:53:17] until I realized that there's no chance that happens because this show never does anything that

[00:53:22] could possibly do that I could like um so I'm probably dead wrong and that had me sinking brand

[00:53:27] over to you yeah I'm swimming on over to are you yeah yeah to a I think the of the things that

[00:53:33] I'm looking forward to uh or I'm intrigued by um in the season three obviously intrigued by

[00:53:41] Colton and what's gonna happen there and you know are we actually going to see uh Jacob and

[00:53:46] uh Dell and the same room together all those things but the way that all the things we had

[00:53:52] questions about the United States and all that hot boy Sam responds to coins is was weird it was a

[00:54:00] weird look on his face as if he like knew what coins they were talking about or something

[00:54:08] is there something nefarious about Sam and these coins I don't know my sink is we are 10 episodes

[00:54:18] later well nine really still no answer about the dirt uh and I'm I'm now I'm ready to concede

[00:54:27] dirt one brand zero that may just be the way things are Dan. I hate that the only issue of season

[00:54:34] too was the dirt that's it that was it only a hole of fill quite ironically and you know I

[00:54:42] does here's a question maybe in this will answer the next season but does uh Colton you know

[00:54:49] being able to time travel and all that and like does that have does that dictate or change in

[00:54:55] any way him being a horse I don't know yeah Colton is horse that theory took a little bit of a well

[00:55:01] well he's dead as far as we know you know no I don't think you don't know that at all he looks the same

[00:55:09] in the green screen that he does it's a good question you know it's a great it's a good question

[00:56:13] thing to just add in at this point in the show maybe they said it earlier and we missed it I

[00:56:49] theory I think the thing is we talked about this in season one but time travel shows either have to

[00:56:53] have one timeline or they have to have multiple dimensions those are your two options and to solve the

[00:56:57] rules if you will no those are the two that that if you look like that extend far before the snake skin

[00:57:03] theory and either you have one timeline and you can either change that or not or you have multiple

[00:57:09] dimensions so there's multiple versions like in uh across the spider verse or no way home or

[00:57:15] do more snake skin or drafts drafters yeah for sure I think we all are and I don't want to speak

[00:57:19] for everyone but we all right yeah of course we're all drafts are you human or are you drafts

[00:57:24] so if that basically in the first season they were very clearly a one-time on show and there it

[00:57:28] appears that they're switching to multiverse or multi dimension and that is all in all disappointing

[00:57:36] but it is well season two is behind us season three we'll be back I believe in January uh can't
