The movie kicks off with Morgan Freeman narrating about birthday wishes. Cut to Casey, who shows up at Field & Plate for her birthday! As she's waiting for her friend, another family arrives for a birthday celebration, led by the birthday boy himself, Henry. Their tables are side by side, and they end up talking a bit. But then it’s cake time, and Henry’s family realizes they’ve forgotten the cake. Casey overhears this and suggests they blow out her candles together since they’re birthday twins.

Henry gets a call and goes to take it. He assumes it’s a spam call. He tells Casey, “Someone from Dance Your Heart Out just called me—whatever that is.” Casey is shocked: “Dance Your Heart Out?! I’ve always wanted to be on Dance Your Heart Out! Let me be your partner!” He’s not interested, but says, “You should take my spot.” She replies, “That’s not allowed! Please, do this with me!” He insists, “No.” She’s disappointed and walks out, talking to her friend from the Dead Letter Office. She says, “It’s really odd, because my birthday wish was to make it on the show!”

Things get stranger when she receives a call saying she’s inherited a farm. She starts to suspect there’s been a wish swap because inheriting a farm feels like something Henry would wish for. So, she goes to confront him. He admits, “Yeah, I wished for a farm, but a wish swap is ridiculous.” She suggests, “Well, let’s try something. I have one more piece of cake. Let’s do it again and maybe it’ll reverse the wish swap.” It doesn’t work. So, they strike a deal: he’ll work and earn money to get his own farm if he agrees to go with her and compete on Dance Your Heart Out.

From here, things follow a familiar path. They start hanging out—she’s doing farm work, he’s learning to dance. They do their first dance for the show and actually do well. They move on to the next round. For some reason, they get invited to perform at a stand-up club, and it happens.

There’s a document on her computer with her birthday wishes, but she tells him, “You can’t see it.” So, he opens it when she’s not around. Her wishes are:
1. Dance, 2. Comedy, 3.Fall in love

When she opens her laptop and sees the document is open, she knows he’s looked at it, so she goes to give him a piece of her mind. But then he says, “I love you,” and that’s all it takes. Forgiven.

They compete in the finals and win. The movie ends with them dancing in the bed of a pickup truck, and they kiss.

[00:00:01] [SPEAKER_04] Hi, I'm Brian and I love Hallmark, Love Uary Movies!

[00:00:06] [SPEAKER_03] I'm Brian, I like Hallmark, Love Uary Movies!

[00:00:09] [SPEAKER_06] I'm Dan, I despise Hallmark, Love Uary Movies and this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast!

[00:00:14] [SPEAKER_05] Deck The Hallmark, it's his podcast! And friends host his podcast!

[00:00:24] [SPEAKER_04] We hope you like this jolly podcast!

[00:00:31] [SPEAKER_05] What happened? Just then, did you pull a can out of your pocket? He had it heated up in the insulator earlier.

[00:00:38] [SPEAKER_03] Had it a can in your pocket? One of the worlds! That's cool, right? What was that? So what just happened was, when you come into this studio... Alright, you're gonna paint a picture that is wholly inaccurate. I'll try to be right down the middle. If you bring an unopened drink to this table where we record, you're putting your life in Dan's hands, basically. You're thirst. You're livelihood.

[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_06] There's an ongoing bit that started with Panda and myself all the way back in 2000. It's about, really before the podcast, where if we sat down and one of us had an ice cold beverage they're excited about drinking, the other one would grab the drink and try to drink it all right in front of their face.

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_03] Phenomenal bit.

[00:01:18] [SPEAKER_06] It's a great bit. It's a great bit. It brings joy to all the witnesses. Have we tried it in Hall's Chop House with a full chocolate martini? Maybe.

[00:01:27] Man.

[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_06] No place is sacred. It's a $20 chocolate martini. Bit is more important. Almost put the whole thing down, too.

[00:01:34] [SPEAKER_03] Dude, if it wasn't for you laughing, I was completely in. You almost had the whole thing. A whole list did it. And then I heard you lose it. Oh, I forgot about it. Oh, man. So this is... I've been burned on this. And so when I came in here, I put my drink in my pocket knowing I'm going to get to this in a few minutes. A few minutes have passed. So now it's been an hour. Yeah. Almost an hour. Okay. So yeah, this is a business back. Yeah, we had a big important meeting. So I pulled out of my pocket, opened it up. I think the coast is...

[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_05] Speaking of the business meeting, I don't want to... Oh, yeah. We're doing a lot. All right. But there has been... School should be adjourned. What sentence did you just say? Should we adjourn? I want to apologize to Rick Delby. No.

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_06] That's about effing time. You know what I mean? About fishing time. Yeah, fishing time. It is fishing time. You know what I mean?

[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_05] So we realized... You need any crickets? We realized...

[00:02:23] [SPEAKER_06] If you put the hook right in the butt of that cricket, that's when the bait's good. The fish like that cricket butt.

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_05] Cricket. So we realized that we didn't make your... I brought a cricket with me. I don't know if you heard of it. A contractionally obligated three... He says cricket. ...three mentions in January. Oh, yeah, you didn't. Yeah, and that's a minimum. Oh, no. Usually I get 10 to 12 mentions. I know.

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_06] You didn't even get three. You paid off for that. The deckies were happening. Yeah. So what? So you're missing the boat.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_05] Are we going fishing? For the fishing boat. Yeah, that's right. It's all fishing metaphors. So really quickly, and I don't want to... Again, we have stuff that we have to do. We got the wish swap, all that good stuff. But really quickly, let us know what happened in January at Fitzy's and kind of what we can expect. Do you guys do anything big for Valentine's Day next weekend? We're doing fishing charters.

[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_06] That's why I'm pushing it. That is true. We have a new drink that's fishing based. It's a very good drink. Fishing based? It's like got a bunch of fishing puns in it. Okay. You want to put this drink and you'll be hooked. No, there's no actual fish in there though, right? There are some goldfish garnishes. The drink is called the Big Hooker. Are you okay, Brian? Okay. So we did all that. You didn't bring me on to talk about the Big Hooker at all. Not a single time, which is crazy.

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_06] In my defense. We have Fitzy takes you out on his boat to go fishing. So generous. It's a big deal.

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_05] In my defense, you texted me four times in January and said, let me talk about the Big Hooker with no other context. But you know. So you can see why I know I didn't know. Come on. You can understand why I would be hesitant to bring you on. Yeah. Maybe you should know better by this point. Okay. What are you guys doing for Valentine's Day? Valentine's Day next weekend. I know Fitzy's as always.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_06] There's a lovely seaside cruise. You can take your loved one out on.

[00:04:04] [SPEAKER_05] Are people signing up for this? They are not. Okay.

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_06] But we've already decided to do it for a quarter. Yeah, you bought the boat. And it's a lot of wasted cricket butts is all I'm saying.

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_05] This is what I think happened. This is what I think happened, Rigged. You and Fitzy wanted to buy a boat. And you said if we buy a boat and we work it into the business, then we can write. It's a write off. Yeah.

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_06] And I can either confirm or deny that. But we did buy a boat. It's called on Her Majesty's Secret Service. And we were hoping to take fishing expeditions for money. It's not gone well so far. Right. And I would just be straight honest with you. But I think we can turn it around. We got February, March left. Let's turn it around. And I gotta be honest. Me not being on the deck, the whole board didn't help. Yeah. The big hooker drink. You can do all these things.

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_05] So what you're saying is that people can sign up for a Valentine's Day fishing expedition.

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_06] That's right. Very romantic.

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_05] You guys bring any music or anything?

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah, there's a brand new champagne brand we got. We're gonna bring out the Let Them Try.

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_05] You got a brand new champagne? Yeah, we got a brand new champagne.

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_06] My pants. Now, did you really do that or was it just a joke? No, it was a bit. That was a bit. I did the rest of it though. We're in deep, we're in Hawk. We're in big Hawk here. We gotta get out of Hawk as quick as we can. Get the Hawk out of Dodge.

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_05] Now, is there like a... If no one signs up for it though, then it's tough to claim on the taxes.

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_06] We did put Fitzy's down as collateral. So we're gonna need some fishing. We're gonna need some people to book this fishing expedition. How's the boat though? It's Lake Lure. And the boat's okay. It's not a great boat, but it's a decent boat. All right. Well, let us know. That's all right. Come on down to Fitzy's and go fishing. Good to hear from everybody. Yeah, you too. Good to hear from you too. Brian, thanks so much.

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_05] We're talking the Wish Swap today. The Wish Swap. Very exciting. We love a Wish Swap. Where were you that whole time, Brian?

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_03] I was imagining being out on the water. He's painting a beautiful picture.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_05] If I didn't know any better, Brian, I think you were doing a... You were busy doing a voice. And that's why you didn't shine in.

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_06] Someone after Rick talked about cricket, someone just said cricket in a high-pitched voice. And I don't know who that was.

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_06] I don't know.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_05] I don't know either.

[00:06:19] [SPEAKER_06] I didn't hear any of that. Glad we did what we did though. You talking about me? No, no, no, no. Is that cockroach? It's cockroach. Happy Valentine's Day guys. Next week. Happy Valentine's Day. I want to tell you about my love.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_02] Can I tell you about my true love?

[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah. Is it crumbs?

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_02] No.

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_06] Is it humidity? No.

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_02] Is it small apartments? No.

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_03] Is it big city?

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_02] It's Krispy Kreme in my belly. Krispy Kreme in my belly. Krispy Kreme in my belly. Krispy Kreme in my belly. Have ourselves a really good time. Sing it with me. Krispy Kreme in my belly. Yeah. Krispy Kreme in my belly. Woo hoo. Krispy Kreme in my belly. Have ourselves a good time. Thanks guys. And can I just say this really quickly, Wrigley?

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah. Yeah, my cockroach. How's it going, cock? You doing all right?

[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_02] It's going real good, but thanks for asking. Can I ask you real quick, how much for that fish and eggs edition? Finish, if you want.

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_06] Oh, I'm so glad that you asked, you know, for you and a special someone. Yes. For you and a special someone.

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_02] Maybe we're eating a little Krispy Kreme donut.

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_06] Okay, you and a donut. We could do that for $1,500.

[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_02] Okay, I'll be in touch. Okay. God bless.

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_06] All right. Thank you, cockroach. Well, love that guy.

[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_04] It's good. Hey, let's do Wish Swap, shall we? Wish Swap. The movie. Wish Swap. Wish Swap. This is SELH.

[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_05] Charles Schwab. Schwab. February 8th. February 8th. 2025 is when it premiered at Hallmark Channel. Of course, you can watch it. It's the big Valentine's Day. I know. You can watch it on Philo, philo.tv.dth. And if you're listening to this and you want to see us talk about the movie, come on over. Philo.tv.dth. Every episode of DTH available in its entirety. We don't cut it off anymore. We don't cut it off anymore.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_06] Everyone? Not back catalog too. No. Okay.

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_05] A lot of it. Yeah. I mean, for the last few years at least. Yeah. That's a lot of stuff.

[00:08:13] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah, it is. We'll have videos of probably the first hundred or two.

[00:08:17] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. The Wish Swap. February 8th, 2025. A Hallmark Channel. And it went a little something like this. The movie kicks off with knockoff Morgan Freeman narrating about birthday wishes. Birthday.

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_06] There was a time when my friend and I wanted to wish upon a star. Right.

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_05] Cut to Casey who shows up at the field and play. The cake came. Morgan, we don't have time. Son of a bee. Cut to Casey who shows up at the field. There's only one cake. We don't have time. Morgan. Cut to Casey who shows up at the field and play. One of these wishes. Hey, Morgan. Hey, Morgan. He doesn't like you. Yes. Love you, bud. We can't though. I'm up against it.

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_03] I don't think he's stopping.

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_05] Cut to Casey who shows up at the field and play. Do you want to do it? No, no, no, no. I think he left. He walked out. Sorry. Cut to Casey who shows up at the field and play for her birthday. As she's waiting for her friends to show up, another family arrives for a different birthday celebration led by birthday boy himself, Henry. Even though the Hallmark Channel website calls him Harry.

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_05] Uh, their tables are side by side and they end up talking a bit, but then it's cake time and Henry's family realizes in this moment that they did not get Henry a cake. Casey overhears this and feels sorry for him. Fair. And suggested they blow out her candles together since their birthday twins. Um, after they blow out the candles, Henry gets a call from an unknown number and he takes it. He assumes it's a spam call.

[00:10:04] [SPEAKER_05] He tells Casey someone from some TV show called dance your heart out. Just called me. Whatever that is. Casey is shocked. Dance your heart out. I've always wanted to be on dance your heart. I've always wanted to dance my heart out. She's like, I don't. Okay. Okay. And she's, she's like, can you please take me to be your partner on the show? And he's like, I'm not interested in doing this, but says, listen, you should take my spot. And she says, I can't do that. That's not allowed.

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_05] I don't know how she knows that. But anyway, um, he, she keeps begging, please let me do this with you. He's not interested in it. And so now she's disappointed and, uh, she goes to leave and, uh, that stuff, but she gets a, a call from, um, somebody and was like, Hey, you got to come down, uh, to hear, I got some news for you. Um, and guess what? She inherited a farm.

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_05] So she starts to suspect something that I think we were always, was his wish. So she starts to suspect. I think it's all of us would suspect after one day.

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_06] It was a wish. It was a wish.

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_05] Swap talking about a wish. Swap. Take your wish. Then you put it over there. Then you grab that wish. And it becomes your wish. It's a wish. Swap. So she starts to suspect that it's a wish swap situation, uh, because she's inheriting a farm, which is something that Henry seems like he would be into after meeting him. Yeah. So, uh, she goes to, uh, talk to him about it and he admits, yeah, I wished for a farm. Big whoop.

[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_05] Uh, wish swaps aren't real. So, and she's like, well, let's try something real quick. I got one more piece of cake. Let's blow candles out. Maybe it's a reverse wish swap situation. It does not work. So she says, let's make a deal. Um, you can work my farm for money and potentially one day buy your own farm in exchange for letting me join you on dance. Your heart out. It does not seem like a fair trade from there.

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_05] Things follow a format that you may be familiar with. If you watch the network, they start hanging out and, uh, she's doing farm work. He's learning to dance. Fish are so out of water. Uh, which Rick, when you, uh, when you have gone fishing on your boat, do the fish bite? Oh, they bite. All right. Yeah. You got that cricket butt out there. They can't avoid it.

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_06] What late do you get to? Oh, all of them. Hartwell. Yeah. Good one around here. Joe Cass. Yeah. Joe Cass was sure. Joe Cass. Yeah. Oh yeah. You never know where I may end up. You won't see me out there.

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_05] Your lady. Your lady majesty.

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_06] On her majesty's secret service. Yeah.

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_05] I can't believe it wasn't taken.

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_06] Um, still waiting on that permit to come through.

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_05] So, uh, fish out of water is where I was. Uh, yeah. Thanks for that. Why you brought me up. You got it. Yep. Uh, they do their first dance.

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_06] Crickets. Those crickets are great. Crickets. Those crickets. There it is. There it is.

[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_02] Hello, you rang?

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_06] Nope.

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_02] Okay. God bless. Krispy Kreme in my belly.

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_05] Uh, it's gonna be a lot. I don't think we're gonna make that time. It just doesn't get paid enough for this. We're not making the time, I don't think.

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_06] Oh, you don't think so? You called a crazy time and then proceeded to do. I don't. Bring rig in and cockroach. Sorry. You're the one that opened the door for all of it. Even Morgan Freeman, you open the door for. So, uh, I would always, by the way, Morgan.

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_05] Um, anyway, back to the thing we're doing here. Uh, so they, uh, do the first dance on the show and it actually goes well. They move on to the next round and also people think they're funny. So they get invited to perform at a standup club. Um, there's a document on her computer about for birthday wishes. Yeah. She keeps a document on it and she's like, whatever you do, don't look at my document. Don't look at that birthday list.

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_05] Uh, he opens it and he finds out her three wishes are one, the dance, two, the comedy, and three, the fall in love. Only one of those has been unchecked. Um, when she opens her laptop, he sees that that dummy didn't close the document. So she knows that somebody opened it. Who else would do it? But the person that I said, don't open the document. So she goes to give him a piece of her mind and he's like, oh no, I'm so sorry. So he does the thing that we would all do in this moment.

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_05] And after knowing somebody for a few days says, but I love you. And that works. Uh, you're forgiven. Cause you said, I love you. No problem here. They compete in the dance finals and they win. And the movie ends with them dancing in the bed of a pickup truck. And they kiss and dance some more. And that my friends was the wish swap. We did it. We did do it. Let's take a quick break. We'll come back and we will, uh, we'll get to this movie. I think we're going to break it down pretty good.

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_05] We're going to be one of the things. Deck the Hallmark. Deck the Hallmark. Wow. We all did three separate. Deck the Hallmark. Welcome back everybody. Welcome back to Deck the Hallmark. Deck the Hallmark. We're talking the wish swap today. Uh, the movie that aired, uh, the week before Valentine's Day. Yeah. Let's break it down. Let's share our thoughts on the wish swap. We're going to start with a hot take. It's where we share exactly how you felt about this movie. And we're not going to hold back. I'm going to start with you, Brian.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_03] Brian, what'd you think? Wish swap? Uh, actually I'm feeling confused right now because in my notes I wrote like the setup overall pretty good for me. Uh, but listening to you talk about it, I just kept thinking in my head like, yeah, that was rough. Yeah, that was rough. That's not so great. Here we go. So I don't know. Now I'm like coming around a little bit. Maybe it wasn't as I had a decent time. Like it was fine for me. I liked the setup a lot. I liked the idea a lot, a lot of familiar names and faces associated with this. Yeah.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_03] And his Henry, Henry is the name we settled on. Yes. Henry's family was awesome. Like, yeah, I want a bunch of regulars.

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_06] Yes. Bunch of regs.

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_03] Very cool. Like let's get more of just hanging out with his family. Uh, but yeah, all the silly stuff you mentioned there, Brian was pretty bad, uh, and not super fun. Um, the dancing was a little different being on a farm. A lot was a little different, uh, but just so many questions.

[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_06] You're describing a movie that you hated. You're not describing.

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_03] I guess I didn't like it as much as I originally thought that I did. It was not great. The, the, so many questions about the farm and just how does that thing run? And what are they doing? It's a wish you wouldn't get it. Yeah. I guess maybe if you get a farm as a wish, it does not have nothing with running the farm matters and making money. And like, what, what do they sell? It doesn't matter. It was a wish. How do they make, how is she paying for a full staff? It doesn't matter. It was a wish. So I don't know.

[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_03] Uh, I just, my big thing coming away was like, what a cool, a, what a cool party trick. If this is a thing you can do, like, cause recreate, like you can blow on a candle and your wishes are swapped. That's a fun party trick. If you know how to do that, nobody else does. If it happens one time, which it kind of seems like that's what happened here. It's never going to happen again. That's a bummer. Cause this would have been pretty cool if you could do this more and trick people into like, Hey, make a wish. I got your wish. Got them. But you can't do that. So, um, I don't know.

[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_03] It was just, I guess it's just okay. And I got a bunch of questions about how this farm works.

[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_05] Uh, this, uh, this movie had a lofty title, a lofty premise. Um, and it was a disappointing, uh, to me as somebody who was really excited about wish swap. I, uh, during the preview show, the general idea of it reminded, I think I did cream it. The general idea of this movie reminded me of dream central, which we got a ton of in

[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_05] that movie and felt like we got a, um, call it dreams, a general idea of what dream central is, how it operates. Um, and this movie, pretty good. Yeah. Brain went four in a cream on this boy. This movie spent so little time on wish swap. Yeah, you're right.

[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_05] That's I was left just having so many questions in my mind about wish swap and this narrator over top. And you know, I like this movie, when you think through the logistics of wish swap and her getting a farm from a, an aunt who died, did wish swap kill someone? I don't know.

[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_05] And so this movie set up something that I was so excited by and they do the wish swap and then do nothing. They don't go back to wish swap and I hate to break it to you, but wish swap is the draw of this movie. Yes. It's called the wish swap. And so does this movie technically wish swap? Yes. It technically wish swaps.

[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_05] Uh, but they don't even that I, they don't even bother trying to answer any questions that literally anybody watching this movie would have about the, the, the wish swap of it all. Um, and instead they overestimated our, uh, the, uh, the, the viewers, uh, potentially liking this couple. I don't care about this couple. I care about wish swap.

[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_05] I care about when I care about the name of the movie and the wish swap of it all. And then what, unfortunately they wish swap and they say, luckily we got this couple that everybody's going to care about. No, we don't. We don't care about that. We care about wish swap. We care about wish swap. We didn't get wish swap.

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_06] That's a bummer. If you're drinking every time somebody says wish swap, you won't.

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_01] That's what I didn't know.

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_06] Um, to Brian's point, it would be like a movie being called like love at the all clown carnival. And then there's a, there's a, there's a, there's a carnival and it's all clowns. Clowns are taking your tickets. Clowns are doing everything. And then two people meet there and then we don't hear about the all clown carnival the rest of the way. Can you imagine just a way for them to meet? That's right. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Love at love at the ghost, uh, seance.

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_06] And then there's a ghost stance at the beginning of the movie that literally you can't call a movie wish swap. Like of all the normally when I think of wish swap, I think of body swap comedies like Freaky Friday or the change up or like, uh, Tom Hanks and big, all of those ideas. The, the swap is when the zaniness starts. This movie opens with, and it is my fields, but I'll tell you now the opening sequence of this movie, maybe my favorite thing on hallmark all year. Yeah.

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_06] It immediately grabs your attention and you're like, Oh my goodness, we are in for a ride. And then they're like, forget the ride. We've got the set of the show ride and tough. I guess the tough time still lives there. So let's make him the lead. Emily tenant, whom I've loved and everything she's in, including holiday hotline. So wasted in this movie. They add so many plots. There's a B love storyline with the guy's niece.

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_06] There's Pascal Hutton in four scenes, the dance instructor, Crystal Lowe shows up for four or five scenes. There's a dance off. There's a farm with questions. You know what? There's not any of any magic after the wishes swap, none, zero. It's just inexcusable. I just don't know what they expected from us. When you pitch the movie that you pitch and you give us the opening scene that you give us,

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_06] you can't just make a regular hallmark movie after that. And because they did, it felt a lot worse. Now, is this still better than at least two of the January movies? Yes. But make no mistake. It's real bad. It's real bad because it starts off really strong.

[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_05] I'm more disappointed in it.

[00:22:17] [SPEAKER_06] And then it just falls flat on its face.

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_05] So, yeah. Would you say that? You're more disappointed? I'm disappointed in this one. Not so much that it's not.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_06] I mean, expectations versus reality, this is a bigger drop than anything in the January slate. Yes. It's not as bad. Oh, it's wish swap.

[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_03] Wish drop.

[00:22:36] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah, that's right. You got it. Thank you, man. Put that on the box.

[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_05] It's like the opposite of creams for me. If you don't hit expectations, almost minus two.

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_06] Brian creamed this one. You creamed unexpected Valentine. In retrospect, really wise move on your part. I thought about that. That's nice.

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_05] Let's get to all the feels. Danny already went. So, I'm just.

[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_06] The opening scene though. Narration. It's great. Shot of different shoes dancing or farming. And you're like, there's going to be this crossover. And it is very beautiful. And from that point forward, the movie goes straight downhill.

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_05] And then everyone go to the clown carnival. And I think that's part of it. The all clown carnival. Yes.

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_06] So, everybody at the carnival is a clown. Yeah. The people. Everybody. What's their story? Yeah.

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_05] Let me ask you this. If you go, do you have to wear a clown dress as a clown?

[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_06] No, I think just that if you're buying a ticket, you're there to see the all clown carnival. Right.

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_05] You want to see.

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_06] Terrifying regardless.

[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_05] Absolutely. I don't think so. Who would I trust more than the clowns?

[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_06] That's true. Yeah.

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_03] Um, Brian, any feels? Yeah. That opening sequence was great. It did set the bar super high for that movie. Yeah. My feels was Crystal Lowe's BFF energy in this movie. Yeah. She was great in this movie. She was fun. And no, I don't know where I heard this. It might've been Girls Gone Hallmark where she, cause she directs as well. Correct. And she said in an interview somewhere, she's like, I love when I'm just an actor in a movie and I see all the chaos going around and I just don't have to deal with it.

[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_06] This is like, I feel like I'm someone that either wants to make all the decisions or none. I'm very bad in between those two. So I feel that energy for sure.

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_03] Like, you know, her knowing that and thinking about what a good time she probably had being that character and on that set, that was a good feels for me.

[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_05] And while we're talking about established hallmark actors that are in this movie, shout out Pascal, who's in this movie, her character, fantastic, her jumpsuits, primo. And so weirdly enough, those, those two characters, characters, characters, characters, characters, are the thing that worked. And that's why I did character works. Those are the two characters. They character worked for me. They character, they really worked and everything else kind of felt fell out.

[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_05] So, but anytime those two are on screen, I was like, oh, yes, we're having fun. We're doing things. And then they, and then they remind you we're no longer wish swapping. It's just that's happened. The thing that you came for it happened. We got rid of all the clowns and now it's normal carnival. I know. All right. But all the clowns were sick. We had to fill in with regular people. Let's take a break. We're not going to talk about it. We're not going to talk about it. We're not going to address it.

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_03] Regular freaks.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_05] We're not going to address it. Let's take a break. Let's take a quick break. We'll come back. We'll get to the way weather with the Hallmark. Here on deck the Hallmark.

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_06] Nice. That's good.

[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_05] What's up, everybody? How you doing? What's up? What's up?

[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_06] Crispy cream in my belly. Is that it? I don't know. I'm missing something. I'm missing something. I'm missing something. I'm missing something. You're going to eventually, not you, obviously, you would never, but not cricket either. Cricket either. Cricket either. Cricket. Cricket. Cricket. Cricket. Cricket. The people we have on the show of one and creativity are going to end up working today. What's up, just a little

[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_02] volt. Cricket. Cricket.

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_06] sockas. No, I'm ump. Cricket. Wow. What is this?

[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_02] Wait a second. I've come here to maintain time writing, but do you guys tell Tensi of how what Purkar Somers did? Yes. And I think your general breakdown of the movies is fantastic, but then you do all these weird things. Yeah. And I don't want that. I just want in-your-face, cutthroat, Hallmark good times.

[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_06] Good times. Okay.

[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_02] But I am having a good time. You are.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_06] Great. What you would find is that a lot of the people that we end up having on the line on this program,

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_02] On the line.

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_06] Cockroach.

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_02] If you will.

[00:26:34] [SPEAKER_06] If you will. Is that eventually if they sing a song, they say something to the effect of they're having a real good time. Yeah.

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_02] Well, I just felt like that was implied.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_06] Okay. But you didn't feel that it was implied. You said it out loud. You did not imply it explicitly. You questioned.

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_02] I thought it was implied, and then you questioned it.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_06] I didn't question it. I just said a lot of the people that call in on the show tend to say that line.

[00:26:58] It's interesting.

[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_02] Okay.

[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_06] Okay. But you don't listen, so it's not your problem. Yeah.

[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_02] I don't listen anymore. I'm familiar with it.

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_06] Okay. You did used to listen when we just talked. I used to listen a lot. Hallmark. Unsubscribe? The first season when we did more Hallmark.

[00:27:10] [SPEAKER_02] Canceled my Supercast description. Yeah.

[00:27:11] [SPEAKER_06] Canceled your Supercast, of course.

[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_02] Just kept Philo, though. And Philo rules.

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah. Philo does rule, because you can just get the hard-hitting cutthroat.

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_02] There's so much good stuff.

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_06] How many podcasts do you listen to that are Hallmark-related that are cutthroat? 16. You said cutthroat.

[00:27:24] [SPEAKER_02] I listened to 16 of them.

[00:27:25] [SPEAKER_06] There's 16? Yeah. Which, which?

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_02] There's Lilo and Mitch.

[00:27:30] [SPEAKER_06] Lilo and Mitch. It's a great podcast. Sounds like a good time. I didn't know they did Hallmark.

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_02] There's Howard and Hughes.

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_06] Howard and Hughes. All right. That's just a name that you split up into two. Yeah. He's dead. So that's tough. That's tough. All right. So that's tough. I buy that. And Hallmark Cafe. I can't remember them all, okay?

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_02] I don't have my RSS feed up.

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_06] Okay. Got it. Cool. Thank you, Cockroach. I think we've had about enough of you.

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_02] All right. Have a good time, though. Thanks for asking. Yep. God bless.

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_06] Man, I got to be honest. I feel like during Christmas, we do so little in the range of taking callers. And then all of a sudden, February hits, and it's like, I'm looking up for it. Rig Cockroach and Morgan Freeman at one episode. And Cricket, by the way, just seemed like a lot. Seemed like a lot. Were we doing Weight Watch? Is that what we were doing? Yeah, let's get into the Weight Watch.

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_05] This is what we were talking about. This is the Cutthroat stuff. Weight Watch. Yeah, listen up, Cockroach. What in this movement is going? What? I'll start with you, Brian.

[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. Help coupons right in the trash. I'm not even kidding me right now. That's a gift that you've on the way to the party like, oh, shoot.

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_06] That's an under 10-year-old gift. I wrote down, isn't that coupon book just called Being a Good Friend? You gave your BFF a coupon book. Yeah. I'll help you out, but only if you have your coupon. Can you imagine your best friend calling you a coupon?

[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_03] My hands are tied. Oh, my gosh.

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_06] You used them all. The world is crashing in front of my... Well, you already used your coop. There's nothing I can do. There's nothing I can do here. Not without coups. Not without coups. There's nothing I can do.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_03] And also, the speech she gave associated with them made it sound like she'd been going through something. Yeah. Like, what? Why does she need everybody?

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_05] It almost was like, hey, we talked, and we have to put parameters up. When all that... Because you're constantly calling us. We're constantly having to be around. So, like, you get to ask each of us a couple of times top. If you can just tweet in that QR code before you call. That's right. Our collective therapist told us we have to set up boundaries, and we're doing boundary in... Form of coupon code.

[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_06] Can I tell you this? I was giving a pass to that initially when I thought Wish Swap was going to be a big part of this. When it was early on, I was like, coupon book's stupid. Yeah. But this is about to get zany and weird Wish Swap-y. And so, I'm going to let it go because it's going to come back somehow. They're going to need it to swap back or something. Yeah. Nope.

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_03] No.

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_06] It's just weird. Just a bad gift. Just a weird, bad gift for an adult to give another adult. That's exactly right.

[00:29:52] [SPEAKER_03] I noticed that she inherited a farm that he's dreamed of his whole life. Didn't even blink. It's all he wanted. Didn't blink. I think he was happy for her. Yeah. Like, cool, whatever. He didn't even care. Like, in my mind, I'm like, there has to be a scene where he's like, darn it to heck,

[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_06] shoot. Like, if you... You know, like, if we had a Wish Swap, even though we don't have the same birthday, and your Wish, obviously, my kids moved far away. That's not what I would wish for, but we'll be worth it. And then I get a call as soon as we wish, and I'm like, right, both of my boys have moved far away. You're not going to be like, oh, that's nice for you. You're immediately going to be like, oh, my gosh. Where did they move? Is there room for two more? You got my Wish. You got my Wish. I know you got my Wish. Son of a B, you got my Wish.

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_03] Yes. Exactly. They needed that. That would have made it more real.

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_06] He must have been human. He's just like, oh, well, good for you. Whatever.

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_03] And then he's like, happy to go work?

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah. It was crazy.

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_03] With no equity until later. And just when he came in with the... I don't know if... I remember if he had flowers. When he interrupted her work meeting, I was so embarrassed. For her. That is not the time. No. Just let her finish the meeting in front of all the coworkers. No. She's trying to do a whole work. She is like an actual business woman. Yeah. I had a job.

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_06] That's right.

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_03] In her business attire. In front of colleagues and coworkers. Maybe people from the outside. Just not even... Just guys, hang on a minute here. I know you guys got lunch in a few, but I'm just going to do a whole thing. So embarrassing. Yeah. No way no how. So embarrassing. That's embarrassing.

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_06] Brian's still getting over his secondhand embarrassment.

[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_05] That's tough. I got a couple. One, he gets a call at the dinner from Dance Your Heart Out. It's when they called it said unknown. That's right. The next day, he has Dance Your Heart Out's number saved to his phone. So he's like, I never want to talk to them again. But if they do call back, I do want to know that it's them. And I don't know. Maybe there are people like that. I'm not your man for that.

[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_05] Dan, you're lucky you're saved in my phone. That's right. I've got six cell numbers memorized. I've got yours memorized. How about that? Believe it or not. There are a lot of numbers that I just don't save. And I'm like, I should get around to that. I'm a long guy. I always forget to save his number. One number that I will definitely not save is a number that was unknown. Yeah. And then I suspect it to be a spam call. Yes. I'm not saving that number. I'm declining that call immediately.

[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_06] Best case, I'm probably blocking it. Have you ever answered an unknown caller number? Ever. No.

[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_05] Never.

[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_06] No. That guy answers it in the middle of his birthday dinner. That's crazy.

[00:32:24] [SPEAKER_05] Like it's the most important call of his life. That's crazy. You're crazy, guy. I got a chuckle out of at the end of the movie where she's like, I'm going to start my own business where I can implement my own ideas. It's one of the worst lines in the history of everything. Okay. Like, so expound on like, what are your own ideas? It doesn't matter. This movie, it didn't, this movie, it doesn't matter. She doesn't have any ideas. But that's implied. Imagine going into like a, like a meet, like a pitch meeting. Yeah. And you're like, hi, I'm, hi sharks.

[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_05] I'm here today because I want to start a business where I can implement my own ideas and I'll leave it at that.

[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_06] I don't remember the guy's name because I'd love to give him a shout out, but there's a guy with a beard who does the tick tocks where he does Hallmark movies in like a minute or whatever. He's got pretty famous a couple of years ago. So this sounds like a line he would say in a video making fun of these movies. Yeah. I want to start my own business to implement my own ideas. Yeah. That's like the commercials for patenting your inventions that are like, I like thinking about inventions. Then what next? Then what next? You invent, that's what you, that's the whole, that's the whole thing.

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_06] This whole ball game, invent help USA or whatever your name's called. Dan? Uh, yeah. I, him, first of all, I need to say this far be it from me to defend farmers. I have like, I'm not a farmer, have never been, but I guess someone has the impression that we are farmers. We, someone needs to say this farming is not a part-time job.

[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_06] Uh, if she was inherited a farm, someone had, it's an everyday, no days off job. And it is a job that's only done by a handful percentage of Americans, like not a big, like, you know, when our country was founded, 97% of Americans are farmers now, very few farmers, but it is a job. You don't, you literally don't get days off. This is a farm that someone was running before she gets there.

[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_06] And then when she gets there, they basically describe this as needing 30 minutes a day, an hour a day.

[00:34:27] [SPEAKER_03] So don't forget it.

[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_06] Occasionally show up to do a little bit of farming. Here and now just occasionally, just so you, you can get that farming it scratched. Yeah. Uh, not how that works. Not how that works at all. And then also this guy who is a farmer, who's working on someone else's land, who goes over to this farm. He's got time for everything, man. He's got time for everything. He's out dancing. He's at the comedy clubs. He's doing all of his other stuff.

[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_06] And it's just crazy that they think that's farming and it just isn't farming. So shout out to all the farmers out there that listen. I got your back. Don't worry. Um, if you're listening on a tractor right now, right on in. Yeah. He, him being shocked that she doesn't know how to farm was the most far fetched part of this movie more so than the wish swap. So like, she's like, Hey, I'll help you learn how to dance. Okay.

[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_06] If you want me to learn on a farm and she's not surprised he doesn't know how to dance. She's like, okay, you don't know how to dance. We'll take care of it. No problem. Like I got this, which great. Right. She's like, but you gotta help me out. How to, you gotta help me farm. And he's like, you don't know how to milk a cow. You don't know how to get eggs from a chicken. You survive. I mean, who taught you grammar? Like what are got guy tough in the tough tones. Most people don't know how to do those things.

[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_06] Like it is, it is not strange at all that someone doesn't know how to farm. That's not weird. You're getting the better end of this 50, 50 split. But you can maybe buy this farm. Like you've wanted your own farm your whole life. Guy. But implement your own farming methods. Yeah. Sheesh. Like the fifth night they're there. He's like, I gotta go do my nightly rounds. What the F have you been doing the other four nights? Like that's an every night thing. Guy.

[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_06] Come on. I also am a little fuzzy on the fact that they have one funny joke on a television program and are called immediately to do a tight 10 at a comedy club. What? That's how that works. That's how that works. People see that off the cup you say one thing funny and the chuckle hut calls and they're like, are big guys coming into town? Can you give us 10 minutes? Here's the thing about stand-up comedians. I've not won, but I've heard a bunch of podcasts. They all kill for that slot.

[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_06] They all go to the club every night to work on their material. So when one slot gets open for the big guy coming into town, you are the guy in line to take that slot. You don't just give it to the person who had one joke on the dance your heart out. It's not how. It was real funny. Yeah. So funny. So I wanted to throw something at my TV when Emily Tennant's character said, I spent so much time on my presentation last night and I couldn't figure out which version of two, two or two to use.

[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_06] Come on.

[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_03] Come on. What are we doing here?

[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_06] Guys, that's not even a heart. It's not even a hard one. Like I get it if it's like, you know, another one. T-O, T-W-O, and T-O-O. I'm pretty sure most middle schoolers get that right most of the time. That's not even their, their, their heart. Like that's one of those is a number. One of those is a number.

[00:37:48] Yeah.

[00:37:48] [SPEAKER_05] One of them is a number. I like. That was brutal.

[00:37:51] [SPEAKER_06] That was tough, man. I don't know if that's different in Canada, but here.

[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_05] His. Even I got that down, guys. Yeah. Even brands like I got those. If any writers out there are wondering like, is this a good grammar joke? Just give me a call and I'll let you know if I got it down or if I think like, yeah, that'll work.

[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_06] Do you know they're, they're, they're? Yeah. Okay. Which one's easier? Two is easier because one of them is a number. Yeah.

[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_05] Two's easier. They're, they're, they're, they're like I, at least when I, when I'm writing and I'm like, okay, got it. Like there's a split second where I'm like, okay. Yeah. I need to, I'll think through it for a real, for two, two or two. It's just instinctual.

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah. Yeah. Nice use of instinctual. Very good. Really good. Even instinctive.

[00:38:28] [SPEAKER_03] Your boy brand's popping today.

[00:38:30] [SPEAKER_06] Oh, different day. Two weeks in a row. Two weeks in a row. It's unbelievable.

[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_03] Lighting hasn't changed, huh?

[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_06] Lighting hasn't changed a bit, but you don't have that sweater on from last week.

[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_03] I got it though if you want it. I'm good. Thanks though.

[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_06] Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tufts family may be awesome. Their TV is 50 years old and there's no way it works. They're farmers. They are farmers. That TV is the TV that was.

[00:38:50] [SPEAKER_03] They're actually not farmers. He's the only farmer in the family.

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_06] When I was a child, that TV was old, but my dad had that TV. We watched TV on it. It was old then. There's no world where it works. It just doesn't work now. It doesn't work anymore. Just any other TV that you have, do that TV instead. TVs aren't expensive. You could have done it on their budget. It's not an expensive item for a shot there. It's ridiculous. And then lastly, her birthday list sucks.

[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_06] I know that he should not have opened up that birthday list. But all it says is the two things that she's already done plus fall in love. Like he didn't crack open any national secret. Like how many people wish to fall in love? It happens regularly.

[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_03] Like I don't like Uber drivers even get a button on the app where they can press it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's that common. That's new technology.

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_06] Just in the last like week or so from what I understand.

[00:39:48] [SPEAKER_03] Speaking of that list, I was kind of disappointed that the third item didn't have to do with her mom. Yeah. I thought for sure.

[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_06] Something sensitive or not. I mean, like why even make a list on a word talk?

[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah.

[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_06] You keep that on a notes app or a post-it note or just written on your arm. Or just in your head. Two of them are checked off. It's just fall in love. By two, you mean two T-O-O. I mean, nope. No. That's the number one. That's where it gets you.

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_04] Stinky stinker.

[00:40:19] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. That's where that's tricky. Maybe she's right on that one. Anything else, Dano? That's it. It's time for what the hallmark is for. We wonder what could have been. Maybe you have to clear any questions. What are we still wondering about? I'll tell you right now. Brian?

[00:40:30] [SPEAKER_03] Brian? No. No, no, no. Yeah. Just a big one for me. What up with this farm? What up with farm? Are they a dairy farm? Because they have cows. They have chickens. They have chickens. So, I mean, you can sell eggs and all that stuff. But if they're a dairy farm, like they don't even have a milking parlor. So how you can't scale this. So how are they? They're sitting on a stool with a bucket. Please. You're not making any money. How are they making money? And the farm looked great, too. It was in great shape. That hand must have just kicked it. I just don't believe.

[00:41:00] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. And she had a great staff, what it looks like. How are they making money? How are she paying all the employees here? This just doesn't make any sense to me. And it bugged me the whole time. Like, give us one line of dialogue on what is going on with the finance. Like, how are you? Are you making money? Are you not? Are you just paying out of your pocket? I don't know. What is up with this farm? What up with it? What up with it?

[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. I mean, I alluded to it a little bit in the hot take. But the wish swap. The wish swap of it all. That's mine, too. Yeah. It's a good one. There's a lot of mysteries about it. But I know I'm a bit more hung up on where the farm came from than you are, Dan. But someone died in this process. Or the wish made it up. So that's true. Did the wish create a farm? Or there was just empty land?

[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_06] And then everyone now is implanted in their memory that it was farm always.

[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_05] Y'all, you can't wish swap. That's a mind check. When the wish swap happens, one person can't inherit a farm. And you not expect me to be like, okay, what up with that? That's great. If it's a true wish swap, was it his aunt that passed? And then they got the wires crossed? I don't think anybody died. You don't think anyone died?

[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_06] Here's what mine is. Mine is this movie operates in a world where everyone's birthday wish is granted. Has to. Right? Yeah. Because two people wished at the same time. And they both got their wish and it just happened to be swapped. So why aren't there more just like rainbows and unicorns just running around? I mean, these wishes are tough.

[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_03] Well, she's never fallen in love, she said. So she's never gotten all her wishes granted. A cold call. This was just this year's list, right? She said it's on her list every year.

[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_06] But there's a cold call from Dance Your Heart Out. And there's a dead aunt. I don't. Listen, this movie operates in a world where wishes come true on the regular. Why aren't we hearing more about those and how big a deal this is that you get a birthday wish and they come true? Because if the wishes don't come true every year, then they don't ever get to the swap. They just go, this is weird. And birthday wishes are still stupid, right? Like if birthday wishes in this world don't come true all the time, then they never talk to each other again.

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_06] And they leave and she's like, well, that's weird that I got a farm. I didn't know I had an aunt. And that's the end of the movie. But because wishes, they know wishes come true, she immediately goes, that's this guy we swapped. Do you see what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah. You're doing more thinking than you ever thought you'd do for this movie.

[00:43:33] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. I didn't see this dimension of this movie.

[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_06] And the fact that they don't bring up any wish mythology at all after the birthday dinner scene is just crazy.

[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_03] Why do we waste all the time on the relationship? I can't even. Now I'm getting upset about it. I'm getting angry. That we didn't get all this wish logistics. Wish-istics. Nope. That's close. It's close.

[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_04] Hey, guys. Welcome back. Let's get to the double-decker of the week. Maybe the life of a double-decker.

[00:44:01] [SPEAKER_06] You don't have a prayer. I don't know why you're trying to speak to it all. Brian. Conqueror. Yeah. Dan, who do we have today? It's DrembleJamPlus.com. Double-decker tier or tire? Tire? Or tire. You can get a tire. Discount tires. Or higher. And you can get a shout-out. You can also join the best community on the internet. That's neat. Facebook group, double-decker group. We have Haley Eakin. Haley Eakin.

[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. This week. Haley. I found something pretty cool about Haley. Okay. Good. A deed that I would say, well, much needed and well-deserved for people. You know, statues are a great honor to have. Yeah. I know. You would believe. Believe me. I know. I've tried. But statues are expensive. Sure. And sometimes you make... That's the hurdle? No. Maybe for you. Yeah, probably. They are expensive, though. The statue you want? You got to carve that thing. That's true. You got to carve it.

[00:44:55] [SPEAKER_03] And also sometimes you...

[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_06] Hard to make a monochromatic version of you without it looking creepy.

[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah, no. I get it. No one gets it more than me. Now I'm thinking of that. Maybe that's the reason. And also sometimes you make a statue for somebody and it turns out maybe we shouldn't have made a statue of that person. Sure. Yeah. There's some of those out there for sure. You're committing to... So Haley came up with an idea and is out there implementing it. Instead of... She's finding people who deserve a statue, basically. Oh, okay. Instead of going all the way of developing a statue, she's doing something she's calling Statute. Where she just drives around.

[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_03] And you see somebody who deserves a statue instead of building it. You just go toot toot. Let them know, hey, you're doing a good job out there. You give them a statue.

[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_06] Man, I thought for all the money in the world that she was going to create some rules and regulations and it was going to be Statue of Limitations. And I thought that's where we were heading. Write that one down.

[00:45:58] [SPEAKER_05] But they're being honked at is a good thing. Like lots of times I get like... Statute. Yeah, I know. Most of the time when you honk, it's for like, hey, get out of the way. I'm going to order a statue for brand. I would love that. You can order it. Yeah.

[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_03] You can order a statue for brand.

[00:46:08] [SPEAKER_06] Is there a number that you can... That's capped? Like a statue of limitations? Nice.

[00:46:14] [SPEAKER_03] At this point, no, Dan. There's no statue of... You can use as many statue as you want. Unlimited toots? Unlimited toots. And so, yeah. Well, you would know because it just sounds like a positive. Oh, it's like a toot toot. Yeah. Like, hey, you're doing a good job.

[00:46:27] [SPEAKER_05] But I understand she tried out a lot of different toots.

[00:46:29] [SPEAKER_03] Yeah. You had to get through... We got those demos? We got those demos. Wow, it's unbelievable. All right.

[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_04] What is that? Yeah, you too.

[00:46:40] [SPEAKER_03] That's not...

[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_04] Pigahogga.

[00:46:43] [SPEAKER_01] Pigahogga.

[00:46:44] [SPEAKER_03] Donkey.

[00:46:45] [SPEAKER_01] Pigahogga. Pigahogga. Pigahogga. Pigahogga. Pigahogga. Pigahogga. Pigahogga. That's just too long.

[00:46:58] [SPEAKER_05] I'm finished. I can't believe... Like, so what's the actual toot sound like?

[00:47:05] [SPEAKER_06] It's just the one he did, right?

[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_05] It's just a little... Beep, beep. They didn't start with the beep, beep. Yeah.

[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_06] They started with some really... No, no, no, no. Really crazy...

[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_03] The investors wanted to hear different options. Yeah, yeah. There's a lot of options. You got to get them with that. Did you get investors? Those are all... Wow. In statute?

[00:47:19] [SPEAKER_05] Yeah. You've heard the idea, right? Yes. What's... What was the round?

[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_06] What's the statute cost in Greenville? I know there are various market to market, obviously.

[00:47:29] [SPEAKER_03] If I want to get my old buddy Dana, a statute. Well, Greenville's a pretty good city. Yeah. So it's up there. It's a good toot city. You're looking at $125 a toot.

[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_06] What about like an urban... Like a rural toot? Like you got to go out in the middle of like... Let's say I wanted a statute for like $96 or like Abbeville, South Carolina.

[00:47:46] [SPEAKER_03] The thing is with it, you want to build it up in that region. So pretty affordable. Oh, and cheaper to have somebody drive out and give a toot out there. So if you can drag your friend rurally... Rural. Oh, rural. Yes. And then get a toot out there. More affordable at this point is what I'm seeing. Yeah. I don't want to go. I just want to send... This is really cool.

[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_05] Really encouraging. I love that. Well, we did it, everybody. Congratulations to us. Good news. We're going to be back tomorrow with another one. So come on back. Well, yeah. I hope you will. Until then, maybe the first to wish you a... Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas! Deck the Hallmark is a Bramble Jam podcast.
