For King + Country's A Drummer Boy Christmas LIVE - in theaters December 5-9, 2024!
VisitGreenvilleSC.com/Things-To-Do/Winter/
The movie starts with a fun fashion title card. We meet Celeste, who wants to be a hot-shot designer, but her boss doesn't even know she exists! She comes home and is shocked to find her boyfriend, Jason, there. He surprises her with a quick one-hour Christmas celebration. He asks Celeste if he can come home with her for Christmas and book a first-class flight, which he is able to do because he knows people.
Celeste’s family is kind of royalty in this small town—her dad is the pastor, and her mom is the mayor. Pastor Mark puts together a Christmas festival, and he really wants his daughter to end up with her hunky ex-boyfriend, Dean. So when she shows up with boyfriend Jason, Pastor Mark is less than thrilled. He reluctantly allows Jason to stay in their basement.
When they find out that his church is going to be remodeled in the new year, Celeste gets a little sad because she always wanted to get married in the church she grew up in. So, Jason gets down on one knee and proposes that they get married on Christmas Eve.
Pastor Mark is not thrilled. Neither is Dean, when he shows up with flowers and is very confused.
Jason is concerned when he finds out that they have to go through Pastor Mark's marriage boot camp... and I mean, fair.
And this boot camp is intense—day one involves gingerbread house building. Day two? A blindfolded golf cart race. All the important pre-marital counseling activities.
They are really up against it, but it doesn't seem to be bothering them. In fact, Celeste seems to be thriving, wheeling and dealing.
Pastor Mark seems to be letting Jason in a little bit. They even go out for eggnog.
But Pastor Mark just can't bear the thought of his daughter moving away forever, so he keeps acting like a little baby boy.
Jason's parents come into town, and Pastor Mark tells Celeste and Jason that they have to make dinner for everyone. They're all going to be really mean to them for no reason.
Celeste gets a call that she’s gotten her dream job back in NYC. When Pastor Mark finds out, he acts like a ding-dong, and everyone gets mad at him and tells him he's being an awful father.
There's a misunderstanding when Jason sees Celeste hugging Dean, but it doesn’t really matter.
Pastor Mark finally tells his daughter that he's sorry for being a jerk.
They wake up, still get married, and dance.

[00:00:02] [SPEAKER_05]: Hi, I'm Brian and I love Hallmark Christmas movies. I'm Brian and I like Hallmark Christmas
[00:00:08] [SPEAKER_02]: movies. I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark Christmas movies and this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast.
[00:00:13] [SPEAKER_05]: Deck The Hallmark gets this podcast and friends host this podcast. We hope you like this jolly
[00:00:25] [SPEAKER_05]: podcast. Hello everybody! Happy Thanksgiving! You guys, I'm so happy that we're here together
[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_02]: today. We all have things to do today but we're doing this first. We can't wait another day
[00:00:47] [SPEAKER_03]: on this to have and to holiday. No, no, no. Right now. It's a big week. It's warm. It's a big
[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_03]: week. That's right. Happy Thanksgiving to everybody. Hopefully you and Yorn have a wonderful Thanksgiving
[00:00:58] [SPEAKER_03]: today. Eating lots of food and doing whatever you and Yorn do. That's right. What are you
[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_03]: and Yorn doing? Eating some food. Are you going out with the masks? Are you sticking around
[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_01]: for us? No, I'm here all holiday season. Really? Even Christmas? Not going anywhere. Wow.
[00:01:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Not going anywhere. How about that? You're not going... Your kids aren't seeing the grandparents
[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_02]: for Thanksgiving or Christmas? No. No. We banned them this year. I can't believe this for a second.
[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Tough. First Christmas and Thanksgiving here. Laying down the law there. Yeah, man. That's crazy.
[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Can't put. Wow. Good for you. Thank you. Anybody coming down to visit y'all? Nothing
[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_01]: I know of. Wow. No. No big plans. Hope not. Aaron, are you leaving out for this or are you
[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_03]: staying? Are you going up to mass after this episode? No. No. No, I'm here. You're
[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_01]: going at Christmas time. Christmas time. Christmas time. No, Thanksgiving. No, I was under the
[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_00]: impression that I had to be in the studio on Sunday and it's just a quick turnaround for
[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_00]: visits. That's fair. That's fair. That's fair. Also, in general, it's a quick turnaround
[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_00]: for a visit. It's a quick turn. Quick turnsies. Real quick turnsies. I'm excited. I think Aunt
[00:01:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Sharon is going to make an appearance at the Thompson Household. That's right. Yeah. The
[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_02]: new tradition is Aaron comes over to our family's house on Thanksgiving and gets called the wrong
[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_02]: name. That's what happens. It's a good tradition. We pick around some charcuterie and we watch
[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Christmas movies and hang out. What do you watch on Thanksgiving? I don't know. I'll let
[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_02]: my kids choose. You know, we do Elf the day after Thanksgiving. Right. I don't know. I
[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_02]: think this year is the year for Home Alone. I will say that. You're doing it. We might need
[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_02]: to do that on Thanksgiving. I think that could be the one. Last year it was the Santa Claus.
[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_02]: The Santa Claus, yeah. They request the Santa Claus regularly. Somehow there's like a double
[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_00]: decker tier or higher or donation tier where you get to watch Dan watch the Santa Claus.
[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the greatest movie watching experiences of my life. Here's what I'll say. I don't want
[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_02]: to oversell that because I think it's weird anyone would want to watch me watch any movie.
[00:02:54] [SPEAKER_02]: However, if you want to see me as near to what brand feels like all year long, I adore the
[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Santa Claus. It is a great movie and I enjoy watching it and I feel like I was 10 when it
[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_02]: came out in the theater and I feel like I am 10 once again. Can I put a request in?
[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_03]: I would love for you to put a request in. I would like to do a joint viewing of that movie.
[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Do you want to do a joint? Because I would like to do a joint.
[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_03]: I am open to that. But I showed my kids the trailer for this and once again they're like
[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_03]: it's old. And this is how Alonzo feels when he's around me.
[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_02]: But what's wild is that my kids don't ever do. You keep saying that.
[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_02]: My kids have not gone through a phase where they're like I don't want to watch that it's
[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_02]: old. In fact, a lot of times they ask for the old movie.
[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_02]: How about it? I don't know. Whenever they see a cartoon they're like is there an original
[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_02]: version of this. Which they mean live action but they think that there's an older one the
[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_02]: cartoon is based off of. They're like is there an original?
[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. Like they're like is there an original? You know whatever.
[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_03]: But I told them I was like Ray and Jay watched it last year and they really liked it and I
[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_03]: think they're open to it but I think if we did a joint viewing then we get to hold hands
[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_02]: while we watch it. I think we should. The fact that you and I have not watched the Santa
[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Claus together. We have, haven't we? Have we watched it here in the office? We've not.
[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know why we would have. No, we watched it last year on Thanksgiving.
[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what we did. Yeah. We've seen that movie numerous years. Like my kids have been
[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_02]: watching that since they were four. Like that's just like a, I mean that was one of the first
[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_02]: ones. I'm like guys, we're watching the Santa Claus. That's a, you know. But if you're watching
[00:04:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Home Alone, do I show up in my Home Alone sweater or do I stick with my original plan
[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_02]: of elf ones? I do. I will say this. No one likes to dress thematically like Aaron Shay
[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_02]: likes to dress thematically and you. Just bring both is what I'm hearing. All right. Costume
[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_02]: change. Got it. Yeah. What I can tell you is is that we'll probably, last year I think we
[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_02]: watched more than one movie. Yeah, but I had to go into work. Oh, you had to leave to go
[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_02]: to work. That's right. But I don't work there anymore. But last year you were, you came early
[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_02]: and did the aquarium. This year you're, you're showing up later. So you'll be there for both
[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_02]: movies probably. Awesome. Well just, yeah. Costume change. Suitcase. That's right. Pack your
[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_02]: suitcase. If you thematically dress for these movies, my kids are going to be like, they're
[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_02]: going to either try to one up you or be like, why don't we have anything? Or Sharon's
[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_03]: the best. Yeah. That's Sharon for you though. That's right. And we've said that. And not
[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Cheryl. Not Sharon. That's right. Not Sharon. Sharon. Um, a
[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_03]: reminder. Aunt. If you're looking for a wonderful. It's not aunt. Aunt Sharon. If you're looking
[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_03]: for a. You're not going home for the holidays. You're here. Auntie Shannon. Yeah. Speak, speak
[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_03]: correctly. Sure. If you're going to be there. Um, a wonderful Christmas gift and maybe give
[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_03]: it early. Uh, but it does fit in a stocking. It does. It has passed the stocking test.
[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_03]: We did a lot of. That blog's coming out. Yeah. What a day. We tested. Christmas food
[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_03]: and various stocking tests. Unless it's one of the miniature stockings, we didn't find a
[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_02]: regulation stock. Regulation. That's right. So. 800,000 views on TikTok from what I understand
[00:05:48] [SPEAKER_03]: and just getting started. Are you talking about our. The stocking. Yes. Yes. The stocking
[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_02]: test. The stocking test. We're big in the TikTok. Can I ask a vlog question? Yeah. I swear
[00:05:59] [SPEAKER_00]: you published the vlog of you decorating your house. I did. Where can people find that?
[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Cause now I can't find it. We tried to hide it. We don't want people to see it. Yeah. I
[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_00]: can't find it. Email Bren at Deck the Hallmark. And the people want to see you decorating your
[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_03]: house. You know what? I'll, I will make a, uh, uh, remind me, but I'll do it after this.
[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. Um, it'll be, uh, go to deckthehallmark.com slash lights and it'll take you to the latest
[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_02]: vlog. Okay. I'm scrolling through. I don't see it. It's there somewhere. It's there somewhere.
[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, but you did such a good job and the world needs to see it. I want to see it. I've not seen
[00:06:27] [SPEAKER_02]: it yet. She did 20 minute blog. Also, I doubt my parents are listening or watching this,
[00:06:32] [SPEAKER_02]: but the stocking talk, uh, my dad every year, my parents, since I was a child, this is, I
[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_02]: can save it for my all the fields since I won't have any for this dumb movie. But, uh,
[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_02]: ever since, uh, I was a child, my parents did this thing where they're like, we're not getting
[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_02]: each other any gifts aside from stockings. And every year my dad does the dumbest thing
[00:06:51] [SPEAKER_02]: in the world and it's super charming and he has a stocking extension. So it's like,
[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I love that. He, he does it like he's never done it before. Every year he gets my mom's
[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_02]: stocking and he has a bag that's chock full of gifts. And then on the outside, it says official
[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_02]: stocking extension. He has the paperwork. And then at the bottom, it says illegal in all
[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_02]: 50 States. And I'm like, dad, the paperwork should say legal. And every year, like clockwork,
[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_02]: my parents have been married like 46 years. Every year that I've been alive, my father has
[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_02]: done this bit and I love him for it. And I give him such a hard time, but I love it so
[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_02]: much. It's, and every year my mom is the same. Like, I can't believe you did this, blah,
[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_02]: blah, blah. It's one of my favorite Christmas memories. I love, I love that. You know what?
[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_03]: I, you know, we've done a great thing this year while we're just wasting time. Yeah. We've
[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_03]: done it. We're not trying to get home. Um, while we're, um, our families, they're waiting
[00:07:45] [SPEAKER_03]: for us to start to like the parade.
[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Erin didn't even figure out what she's wearing.
[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I know. It's why I'm not on camera. I'm actually working from home going through all my outfits.
[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I just want to impress your kids. That's important. The vlog was on. Thanks for letting me know.
[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_03]: The vlog was unlisted and now it is listed. I had to send it in for approval. The rest
[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_03]: is still unlisted, but it is, uh, especially now spend your Thanksgiving, uh, watching me
[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_03]: put up Christmas lights. Um, what was I going to say to you? Oh, we've done a great thing this
[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_03]: year. Our two smoothies from an unnamed smoothie. Yeah. You would say in royalty, they're the
[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_03]: king. They are the king. If you were going to, but they haven't paid us. And so we're
[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_03]: not going to. Nope. Um, although we are getting free smoothies for the rest of the year because
[00:08:29] [SPEAKER_02]: of the thing. Yeah. It turns out I had $178 in smoothies. Ooh, the thing paid off. Yeah.
[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Literally paid for it. Yeah. We're literally want to pay for smoothies the rest of the year.
[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh man. I would like, congratulations. Yeah. Thank you. I would like to make it our goal,
[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Dan and all of our free time, uh, to go to have a viral Tik TOK video. I just think that
[00:08:50] [SPEAKER_03]: it would be a fun goal for us. I never know what, how it works. I don't even know what
[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_03]: a Tik TOK really is, but I, but before it gets banned, I think we should spend the year
[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_03]: waiting for that app to get banned. And if it doesn't get banned, then we'll go viral.
[00:09:05] [SPEAKER_03]: I love it. Like doing a stocking test. Does it fit here? I love it. People are getting
[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_03]: close to viral. The stocking test is going to take off for sure. It's going to take
[00:09:13] [SPEAKER_03]: off. Um, okay. Let's talk about, uh, to having a holiday, shall we? Sure. Uh, do we have
[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_03]: to, uh, originally aired on Hallmark channel November 26th, 2024 and it went a little something
[00:09:24] [SPEAKER_03]: like this. The movie starts, uh, with a fun fashion title card and that is the final fun
[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_03]: thing that happens. Uh, we meet Celeste who wants to be a hotshot designer, but, uh, boss
[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_03]: doesn't even know she exists. She comes home and is shocked to find out that her boyfriend
[00:09:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Jason is there. He surprises her with a quick one hour Christmas celebration. He then asks
[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Celeste if he can come home with her for Christmas and books a first class flight, which he's able
[00:09:52] [SPEAKER_03]: to do because he knows people. Celeste family is kind of royalty in this small town. Her dad
[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_03]: is the pastor and her mom is the mayor. Uh, pastor Mark puts together a Christmas festival
[00:10:08] [SPEAKER_03]: and he really wants his daughter to end up with her hunky ex-boyfriend and also associate pastor,
[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_03]: pastor Dean. Pastor Dean. So when she shows up with her boyfriend, Jason, pastor Marcus
[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Celeste and thrilled. He reluctantly allows Jason to stay in their basement. When they find
[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_03]: out this, uh, when she finds out that the church that they grew up in is going to be remodeled
[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_03]: because of a little leaky situation. Um, that's what their words, uh, Celeste is, uh, sad because
[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_03]: she always wanted to get married in the church that she grew up. And so Jason says, okay, drops
[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_03]: down on one knee and proposes that they get married on Christmas Eve in the chapel, going
[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_03]: to the chapel and I'm going to get married. Pastor Mark, not thrilled. Neither is Dean
[00:10:56] [SPEAKER_03]: when he shows up with flowers and is confused as to what's going on. Jason is concerned
[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_03]: when he finds out that they have to go through pastor Mark's marriage bootcamp. And I mean
[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_03]: fair. I get that. Um, and this bootcamp is intense. Day one involves gingerbread building
[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_03]: day two blindfold golf cart race, all the important premarital counseling activities that we all had
[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_03]: to go through for sure to make sure that we were ready for such a serious commitment. They are really
[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_03]: up against it, but it doesn't seem to be bothering them. You know, the wedding is going to be on
[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Christmas Eve. In fact, Celeste seems to be thriving. She's wheeling. She's dealing. Pastor Mark
[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_03]: seems to be letting Jason in a little bit. They even go out for eggnog. Pastor Mark just can't bear
[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_03]: the thought of his daughter moving away forever. He always thought that she would come home.
[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_03]: So he keeps acting like a little baby boy. Jason's parents come into town and Pastor Mark tells Celeste
[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_03]: and Jason that they have to make dinner for everybody. And they're all going to be really mean to them for
[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_03]: no reason while this dinner is taking place. Celeste gets a call that she's gotten her
[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_03]: dream job back in New York City and she's going to take it. When Pastor Mark finds out, he acts like
[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_03]: a ding dong and everybody gets mad at him and tells him that he's being an awful father, which once
[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_03]: again, fair. There's a misunderstanding when Jason sees Celeste hugging Dean, but it doesn't really
[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_03]: matter in the grand scheme of things. Honestly, we barely deal with it. Pastor Mark finally tells his
[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_03]: daughter that he's sorry for being a jerk. They wake up and the church is burned down or been swept
[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_03]: away by the flood, the leak. It's gotten away from him. So they're not going to be able to get
[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_03]: married in the chapel, but that's not a problem. They get married at the town center.
[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Community center.
[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Community center.
[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Whatever. It wasn't all about the church anyway.
[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_03]: And he says, you may now kiss my daughter and we all hate it. And then they robot dance for what
[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_03]: seems like eternity. And that, my friends, was to have and to holiday.
[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's take a quick break. We'll come back. We'll break down this movie here on Deck the Hallmark.
[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Gobble, gobble.
[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Come, they told me.
[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_03]: It is enjoyable as it was to hear us sing that song. Imagine if you didn't.
[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And instead, you heard for King and Country singing it.
[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_03]: A little bit better.
[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_03]: A little bit better. And that's exactly what you can do for a limited five night only event,
[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_03]: December 5th through the 9th. You can go to your local cinema and see a drummer boy Christmas
[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_03]: live for King and Country. We had a blast talking with them earlier in the holiday season.
[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_02]: They're great people. It's a phenomenal show. I mean, they pull out all the stops.
[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_02]: They're in the air from the crowd.
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy.
[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_02]: It's unbelievable.
[00:13:53] [SPEAKER_03]: It is a wonderful Christmas event. If you like Christmas music, and I mean, who doesn't
[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_03]: this time of year? This is a very fun way to go about it. So head to your local cinema
[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_03]: December 5th through the 9th to check out a drummer boy Christmas live, the cinematic concert
[00:14:09] [SPEAKER_03]: experience. Check it out. You'll be happy that you did.
[00:14:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Hi. Welcome back, everybody. Happy Thanksgiving to you. We're talking about to having a holiday.
[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_03]: And to anybody out there that's getting married today, congratulations.
[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_02]: On ruining all of your family's years.
[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Years?
[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Every Thanksgiving, you're going to deal with that.
[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_01]: But you don't deal with others.
[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Just this year.
[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just this year.
[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_02]: You're ruining their holiday.
[00:14:40] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't think you're going to make it up themselves every year after that?
[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, every Thanksgiving, oh my God.
[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Bringing it up all the time.
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you mean our anniversary?
[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_01]: No, we're talking about Thanksgiving.
[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my anniversary, you mean?
[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, not.
[00:14:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, no, that's not how Thanksgiving works.
[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a different day every day.
[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, right.
[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_02]: So only be occasional.
[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_02]: It would be this year only.
[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Honestly.
[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_01]: How many, how often would they, Mr. Mathwiz?
[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Do that math.
[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Would they overlap there?
[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Probably one out of every seven.
[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it, it's the fourth Thursday or last Thursday?
[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Fourth.
[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Fourth.
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Fourth Thursday.
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Fourth Thursday.
[00:15:09] [SPEAKER_03]: You can listen to my history of Thanksgiving that I share today on Christmas morning.
[00:15:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, look at that.
[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Christmasmorningpodcast.com.
[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll pause while you go do that.
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Go listen real quick.
[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Dude, I already listened.
[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_03]: How dare you?
[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_03]: You've drawn it.
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_03]: All the way in.
[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm drawn.
[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_03]: So you're holding back.
[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_03]: If you've ever been wondering, I wonder how Brian would give a history lesson.
[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Tune on in.
[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_03]: It's great.
[00:15:30] [SPEAKER_03]: I couldn't tell you it.
[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't remember, but it's a really interesting lesson.
[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_03]: To having a holiday, let's break it down.
[00:15:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's start with the hot take is where we share exactly how we felt about this movie.
[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_03]: I will start with you, Brian Guy.
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_03]: First.
[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Favorite pie.
[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Second.
[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Thoughts on this.
[00:15:46] [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Pumpkin?
[00:15:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_03]: That's a good answer.
[00:15:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Good answer.
[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Are so wrong.
[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry.
[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead.
[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Whenever you're ready.
[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_01]: It was better.
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And I expected.
[00:16:05] [SPEAKER_01]: We've had a tough go.
[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_01]: All weekend.
[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_02]: He's had a tough go.
[00:16:08] [SPEAKER_02]: This is a bit.
[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_02]: He's on tilt.
[00:16:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Guys.
[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_02]: He's on tilt this weekend.
[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I expected this movie to be garbage.
[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, really?
[00:16:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And what'd you get instead?
[00:16:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It was better than I expected.
[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Refuse?
[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_01]: A nicer word for garbage?
[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I did not like it.
[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay?
[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't like it.
[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't have a good time, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it could have been.
[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm saying.
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_01]: It could.
[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we could have been way worse.
[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_01]: Eric Close, the pastor, Pastor Mark, Pastor Daddy.
[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_01]: It was good to see him.
[00:16:37] [SPEAKER_01]: It was good to see him.
[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_01]: He used to be on Nashville, and I used to watch Nashville.
[00:16:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And it took me too long to place where I knew him from.
[00:16:44] [SPEAKER_01]: It was good to see him.
[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And I realized, oh, he was on Nashville, and I used to watch Nashville.
[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_01]: His character's awful in this movie.
[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_01]: He's a bad Pastor Daddy.
[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_01]: But it was good to see him again on the screen.
[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Just cut that clip right on there.
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Stacy and Marty directed.
[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm really happy for Stacy to get a movie.
[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm really happy for Stacy.
[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_01]: There were some funny moments.
[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Like that part where Dean is invited to go over after dinner.
[00:17:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I had forgotten about that until he showed up at the door.
[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_01]: And I thought, oh, that's a good sign.
[00:17:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I was so distracted by all the stuff that went on.
[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's pretty good.
[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_01]: But from then on, just nothing else was really enjoyable or surprising.
[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, there were things about it where it seemed like they were supposed to be funny, and it just wasn't.
[00:17:26] [SPEAKER_01]: All the games and rituals they were doing were brutal to watch.
[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_01]: The singing, the karaoke, the golf cart stuff.
[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_01]: It just was really kind of like not that fun to watch.
[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_01]: A little more father-daughter time maybe would have been nice.
[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I feel like they were horrible parents.
[00:17:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, they know nothing about their daughter.
[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_01]: The mom's barely involved in her daughter's life.
[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_01]: She kind of knows she has a boyfriend.
[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Her dad knows nothing about this.
[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_01]: But he wants her home so badly.
[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_01]: He wants to be so close to her.
[00:17:52] [SPEAKER_01]: But they don't talk, obviously.
[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_01]: So they just don't.
[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't buy that they're even that close.
[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think she really wants to be there with her parents.
[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_02]: The train's left the station, and all this stuff is 100% agree.
[00:18:02] [SPEAKER_02]: You started with not as bad as I thought.
[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:18:05] [SPEAKER_02]: But then everything you said afterwards is like, this is one of the worst of the year.
[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't like it.
[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_01]: But I thought it was going to be a lot worse than it was.
[00:18:11] [SPEAKER_01]: How?
[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I just thought I expected it to just be worse.
[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, maybe.
[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I think would have been worse?
[00:18:16] [SPEAKER_01]: If it were very heavy on, hey, let's focus on the reason for the season.
[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_01]: No Santa in my church.
[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_01]: And it was really heavy, like, focus on God and the church and Jesus and throwing that.
[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was going to be real heavy-handed with that.
[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And it wasn't at all.
[00:18:32] [SPEAKER_02]: No, one of my biggest white wats of this entire movie is that literally it's the opposite of that in every, you don't even hear it mentioned once.
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe I was just so surprised by that that I'm like, whoa.
[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
[00:18:46] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_01]: It was a choice, obviously, there.
[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_01]: But no, I didn't enjoy it.
[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't like it.
[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought a lot of the stuff that could have been funny didn't land.
[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_01]: And it just, yeah.
[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_03]: It is, in my opinion, as bad as anticipated.
[00:19:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_03]: It's one of my least favorites of the year.
[00:19:07] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'm surprised that Hallmark let this movie air with the lawsuit out there about them, you know, trying to cast younger people over the older people.
[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Because these two leads are potentially minors.
[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_03]: They are the youngest leads I've ever seen in Hallmark.
[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_03]: And to their credit, they're jumping into a marriage to Pastor Daddy's, in his opinion, too early.
[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And so that was the whole point.
[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_03]: But they were very young.
[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think I've ever seen two leads younger in a Hallmark movie.
[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_03]: And I thought that they were fine.
[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_03]: How dare you?
[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I almost said it before he finished.
[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_03]: It was great.
[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_03]: They were fine.
[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_03]: But I just, I almost, I personally would have rather them have just made this, just do a Dayspring or do a something.
[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Something.
[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Because it's so, like, he's never pastored before.
[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, I have spent my life around pastors.
[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_03]: Correct.
[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_03]: And I've never met a pastor that talks less about God in my life.
[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Or just at least spiritualizing things.
[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Either, like, not like he, and you had the opportunity.
[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Because you do all of these dumb activities.
[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_03]: So many.
[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And they're so easy to tie into some sort of biblical root.
[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_03]: You could have, if they wanted to, they could have done it.
[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_03]: And clearly they didn't want to.
[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_03]: So I don't, like, just don't make him that.
[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Because to me, I was like, I was ready for that.
[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I was ready to roll my eyes and have fun with all of those things.
[00:20:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Because it's what, you know, we, you and I grew up in that world.
[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's what, it's exactly what would have happened.
[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_03]: And so, as somebody who got married at the holiday season and all that stuff, I, if anybody was predisposed to like this movie more than expected, I think it would have been myself.
[00:20:57] [SPEAKER_03]: And unfortunately I did not.
[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_03]: It is one of my least favorites of the year.
[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Although it is not my least favorite of the year.
[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_03]: That still gets the nod to a novel.
[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Novel holiday, whatever that movie is called.
[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Novel Noel.
[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Novel Noel.
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Come on.
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_03]: You got it.
[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Still my least favorite of the year.
[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_03]: But this one is right there with the bottom.
[00:21:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Dana?
[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I think this movie deserves three more dudes giving their take on, you know, how this woman turned out.
[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_02]: The thing about this movie is it shouldn't exist.
[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Not in 2024.
[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_02]: It is embarrassing across the board.
[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_02]: And then the fact that they want it to exist and they want to make this work becomes worse when they decide to not either try to make it funny or spiritual.
[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Brian was excited it wasn't spiritual.
[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And I get that because had it been a Dayspring movie, I could have like thrown this table over.
[00:21:52] [SPEAKER_02]: But instead, they just kind of make it meh.
[00:21:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Like either make it the Robin Williams License to Wed movie, which is terrible.
[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_02]: But either make it so incredibly silly that you know that it's a winking idea that this dad is doing the marriage counseling to decide if they get married, which is just like archaic.
[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_02]: To either do that so we all can have a good laugh and maybe it can be like a halt, the holly confessions of a Christmas letter kind of thing or make it a movie where this dad is so caught up in the ways of this is the spiritual interpretation and application of what it means to be married and what it means to be married for life to your partner at Christmastime who you've hardly known.
[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_02]: And make him super spiritual.
[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_02]: If you do one of those things and we see the dad come out of the spiritual stone ages and join the rest of us in the modern day or it's so funny that it's satire, those are the only two ways that I in my head can see this working.
[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Instead, they did neither of those things.
[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_02]: No one here is a great human being.
[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_02]: No one.
[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Everyone here is some weird version of themselves where an important characteristic has been erased or redacted to make this movie as non-offensive as possible to Hallmark viewers.
[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And instead we just get this man movie that is virtually impossible to watch with a dad who's supposed to be a pastor but I think is like not allowed to say Jesus or God in any at any point in life, especially during the holiday season when it's literally the whole ballgame of being a pastor.
[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Like having a brother that's a pastor and dad's a pastor and being around pastors my whole life, I can tell you not all of them want to preach to you and make everything about Jesus.
[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_02]: But they always are going to focus in, especially this time of year, on attributes that apply both to everyday life and to the Bible.
[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Like there's no way around that.
[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_02]: To be in this world in a small town where two pastors never mention any sort of thing about giving or love or sacrifice or the reason for the season is insane.
[00:24:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I bet you they talk more about Jesus than like the Santa Summit than this movie.
[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't like, this movie is such a nothing burger of a movie.
[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I will say the gospel presentation of that movie was fantastic.
[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_02]: When Erica Tuvle is in the reindeer outfit and he gets out the Avenger Cube, it was like, oh my goodness.
[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_02]: They're in the Rick Shaw and he's like, this reminds me of the Roman Road.
[00:24:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I can do it all day.
[00:24:35] [SPEAKER_02]: This movie is such a nothing burger of a movie with such an incendiary premise.
[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_02]: The idea that the dad is going to be the marriage counselor for a Christmas wedding boot camp is offensive.
[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_02]: We talked about it in the preview episode.
[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It's offensive.
[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And to take such an incendiary premise and to neither make it so unbearably terrible we can't watch or so funny we know that they're winking at it is just crazy to me.
[00:24:59] [SPEAKER_02]: It just to act like it's normal and that everybody that goes to church never talks about church is crazy.
[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_02]: And the movie is terrible and it's duking it out at the bottom of the list, but it is not as bad as a novel.
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_02]: No, you're right.
[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Time for all the feels.
[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_03]: We were talking about what this movie is feels.
[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_01]: The eggnog scene.
[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_01]: When they're sitting at the table, they're having their deep combo.
[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, by the way, chocolate.
[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I like a chocolate pie.
[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, my grandma's chocolate pie is like sentimentally the best.
[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I love a pumpkin pie.
[00:25:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Those are my two final answers.
[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, I've never been a pie guy for a long time because of like texture and stuff.
[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_03]: But I've committed myself to today on this day.
[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Holiest of all.
[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Trying all the pies.
[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to try all the pies today.
[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a big, big day.
[00:25:46] [SPEAKER_03]: You're going to try all the pies.
[00:25:47] [SPEAKER_02]: What are the options?
[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_02]: If there's a sweet potato pie out there, are you trying that?
[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll give it a shot.
[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Bad day to be a pie.
[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Bad day to be a pie.
[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm coming for you.
[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Big week for us.
[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm coming for you.
[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Coming for you.
[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_03]: The eggnog scene.
[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_03]: The precipice of this.
[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Sure.
[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_03]: What was that?
[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_03]: The impetus?
[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_03]: We're on the precipice.
[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_03]: You're on the precipice of trying all the pies.
[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I realize that I've never tried an apple pie.
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Uh-huh.
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_06]: Really?
[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_03]: And I think that my wife makes a really good, it's basically an apple pie, but it's an apple
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_03]: crisp.
[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_03]: And I feel like if I like that, I would like an apple pie, so I'm going to try this.
[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm rooting for you.
[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[00:26:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Good luck out there.
[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll do a vlog.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Man, the vlog list is crazy right now.
[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_03]: This is what it makes me.
[00:26:28] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to go viral on TikTok.
[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to go viral this year before every next year.
[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Try every pie.
[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Live on TikTok.
[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_01]: The eggnog scene.
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't the deep convo or the bonding or the breaking barriers.
[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_01]: It was just seeing all those glasses of eggnog on the table.
[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_01]: It just felt good.
[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Eggnog's getting out there.
[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad people are enjoying it.
[00:26:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I love an eggnog.
[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_02]: The eggnog Kringle from Kringle.com.
[00:26:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh.
[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Phone number you can call.
[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Go to Kringle.com.
[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Promo code Hallmark24.
[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I know that this isn't supposed to be an ad, but the eggnog Kringle from Racine Danish Kringle
[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_02]: is worth the trip.
[00:27:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Great.
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Great.
[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Nogger Clock is back.
[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_02]: We love that.
[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_02]: I love an eggnog here for it.
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_02]: A peppermint in an eggnog.
[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I've never had it.
[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_01]: That will come back later in this episode.
[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
[00:27:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
[00:27:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Tease alert.
[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_03]: We got ourselves a tease.
[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_03]: I just had, while watching this movie, and there was the leak in the church, and ultimately
[00:27:23] [SPEAKER_03]: it gave way, and kind of the building gave out from underneath it, and it kind of gave
[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_03]: me that I was reminded of Christmas in Pemberley Manor, where there's the sinkhole.
[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_03]: And that just made me, I was like, remember back then?
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_03]: We were way back when.
[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_03]: First season.
[00:27:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Most listened to episode in the history of Jack the Homeowner.
[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Really?
[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_03]: I just, I like that movie.
[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_03]: So I think I'll give that a watch.
[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_03]: There you go.
[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Like a good palate cleanser.
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_02]: To this one.
[00:27:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Dana?
[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I already told the story about my dad and mom to stockings and Christmas.
[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_02]: The extender.
[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like the extension.
[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_02]: The extension.
[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Official stocking extension.
[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_06]: He trademarked that?
[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if he did, but he should.
[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's, he printed it out.
[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a whole, like it's a business.
[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_02]: The paperwork is a mess.
[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_03]: He could probably make a lot of, if he put that, if he put that on Etsy, he could really
[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_02]: If you think I'm not down for a bit, you should just watch my dad.
[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I should video my dad.
[00:28:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Every year, he's 72 years old, does the same bit with the paperwork as a mess on this.
[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe I got it approved.
[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_02]: It was last minute.
[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Customs.
[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_02]: It was held up.
[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_02]: It was the whole thing.
[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Dude, if you think that's not going in a movie script, then you've lost your mind.
[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just perfect.
[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Can you please record that?
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I will.
[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll do my best.
[00:28:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I would really like that.
[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_02]: He always brings it, like it's not in the room, the rest of the stockings.
[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_02]: What's this for?
[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_02]: He just gets up and says, I'll be right back.
[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And he walks out and he's got the bag and he's like, you're not going to believe this.
[00:28:42] Is it every year?
[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_03]: Does he wear his hat?
[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think so.
[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Your dad has a great hat.
[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_02]: My dad has a London Fog hat.
[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_02]: He told me, they were over eating dinner last week and he told me that he got the hat on
[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_02]: their 10th, mom got it for him on their 10th year wedding anniversary.
[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And they've been married 46 years or 44 years, one of the two.
[00:29:03] [SPEAKER_02]: So he's had it 13 years.
[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_02]: He's had it for, great job there.
[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_02]: He's had it for 35 years, same hat.
[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_02]: He looks great in that hat.
[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he crushes that hat.
[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't really ever want to see him without that.
[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_03]: If I see him without the hat, I say, I don't.
[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_02]: If you see him on a summer day, he's not wearing that hat.
[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_02]: That's like wool.
[00:29:16] [SPEAKER_03]: This is what I say to him.
[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Shoot.
[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_03]: Have at it.
[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Get out of here.
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what people say when they want you to get out of here.
[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_03]: They say, have at it.
[00:29:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Have at it.
[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Have at it.
[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's take a break.
[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll come back.
[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll get to the way we went with the Hallmark here on.
[00:29:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Take the Hallmark.
[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Gobble, gobble.
[00:29:37] [SPEAKER_05]: It's the holiday season.
[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_05]: The holiday season.
[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_03]: We live in Greenville.
[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_03]: We have lots of fun.
[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_03]: It's the Christmas place.
[00:29:45] [SPEAKER_03]: It's the Christmas spots.
[00:29:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Come and join us.
[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Have a lot of fun.
[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_03]: We are talking about Greenville, South Carolina.
[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we are, Brandon.
[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I got to be honest.
[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Greenville is wonderful to live in all year long.
[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_02]: But at this time of year, our big little city comes alive.
[00:30:02] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just right in size.
[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_02]: You can catch a Broadway show.
[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_02]: You also can eat at a local restaurant.
[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_02]: But during the holidays, Ice on Main is open.
[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_02]: You have the Nutcracker at the Peace Center.
[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So much happening in Greenville right now.
[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_02]: If you ever want to get away to a perfect Hallmark town with good food and good culture
[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_02]: and great vibes, Greenville is your place.
[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And Dan, you and I watch a lot of Hallmark Christmas movies.
[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And there's always those little markets.
[00:30:28] [SPEAKER_03]: And you're like, do those exist in real life?
[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_03]: They do.
[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_03]: One of the newer additions that I've checked out that I love is the Greenville Christmas market
[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_03]: at the Grand Bohemian Lodge.
[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_03]: It's outside.
[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_03]: It's unbelievable.
[00:30:38] [SPEAKER_03]: They've got a bunch of really cool little shops in there.
[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_03]: And you can just shop around.
[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_03]: And you can get some coffee and all this cool stuff.
[00:30:45] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's right by a waterfall that is in the middle of downtown.
[00:30:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Where else can you find it?
[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Nowhere else, Dano.
[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Downtown Greenville.
[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Head to visit greenvillesc.com to check out a list of things that you can do this holiday season.
[00:30:58] [SPEAKER_03]: You won't regret it.
[00:30:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Merry Christmas.
[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_02]: We did let some turkeys in the studio.
[00:31:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe we did it.
[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Are we trying to save them?
[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Darren!
[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Darren!
[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Happy thanks.
[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Now, Darren, you had the idea or you're the turkey farmer or what happened here?
[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm a turkey farmer.
[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Turkey wrangler.
[00:31:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you related to Dominic the donkey by any chance?
[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_02]: No.
[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Turkey wrangler.
[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Turkey wrangler.
[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_02]: What do you have any questions?
[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_02]: How many turkeys do you have in here?
[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Six.
[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Six.
[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I got most of them.
[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Are all these going down today?
[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Are they a lot?
[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_02]: No.
[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_02]: They made it.
[00:31:37] [SPEAKER_02]: It sounds like they made it.
[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Have they been pardoned for good or just today?
[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Just today.
[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.
[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_02]: These are post-Thanksgiving day birds.
[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_02]: We should have pardoned a turkey.
[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_02]: We should have, man.
[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_02]: That would have been fantastic.
[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Dominic!
[00:31:48] [SPEAKER_05]: Are you there?
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Dominic!
[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_05]: Happy Thanksgiving!
[00:31:53] [SPEAKER_05]: It's so good to be here.
[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_05]: You know, we have the phone line.
[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_05]: I don't celebrate Thanksgiving.
[00:31:59] [SPEAKER_05]: Say it again?
[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_05]: I don't celebrate Thanksgiving.
[00:32:01] [SPEAKER_05]: I know you don't.
[00:32:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Turkeys are our brothers.
[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_05]: Turkeys are our brothers.
[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_04]: So I...
[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_04]: What is so...
[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_04]: A lot of good, man!
[00:32:10] [SPEAKER_04]: What's so interesting...
[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_03]: So true, Dominic.
[00:32:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Is he doing taps?
[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Are you doing taps?
[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_03]: You sure is.
[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_03]: There are brothers.
[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Dom, what's so interesting is we have the phone line here.
[00:32:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And right when Darren mentioned your name, you called it.
[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Do you listen live?
[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_05]: Are you a double-decker?
[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_05]: Darren's got me on his cellie.
[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_05]: Darren has you on his cellie.
[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_05]: Got me on his cellie.
[00:32:36] [SPEAKER_05]: Next tell Direct Connect.
[00:32:39] [SPEAKER_01]: You on a job site?
[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_01]: So wait.
[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_05]: Construction site?
[00:32:41] [SPEAKER_05]: So you were listening in...
[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_03]: There's walkie-talkie for modern age.
[00:32:46] [SPEAKER_03]: So you were listening in through Darren's cellie?
[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_03]: And then you called us.
[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Got it.
[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Got it.
[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_03]: So what are you going to do to this since you don't like Thanksgiving?
[00:32:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Rescue turkeys.
[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Going to rescue them.
[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to get a door.
[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_03]: So you know that most people that have turkey on Thanksgiving, by the time they are in the house...
[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to resuscitate.
[00:33:11] [SPEAKER_03]: You're going to bring them back to life, Evanescence?
[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Wake me up.
[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, good luck.
[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Let us know how it goes.
[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Let us know how it goes.
[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_03]: God bless.
[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Happy Thanksgiving.
[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_02]: God bless, everybody.
[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Dominic.
[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_03]: It's time for the Wait What.
[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Before we talk about what in the sweet minutes go Wait What.
[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll start with you, Brian.
[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_01]: The no-call-ahead.
[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Bring the boyfriend home.
[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you kidding me right now?
[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't.
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_02]: No.
[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't.
[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't expect these parents who...
[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_02]: The dad is a monster, but you can't expect anyone to put their best foot forward when
[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_02]: they think their kid's coming home and all you had to do was go, I'm bringing my boyfriend
[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_02]: home.
[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_02]: That's all you had to do.
[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And of course, they're going to bring him in anyway.
[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Give him a chance.
[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Give him a chance to get a good first impression.
[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Are you kidding me?
[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Has this happened this year?
[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like it has.
[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we already had this argument or conversation.
[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Was Christmas with the Sings?
[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_01]: They had to tell him that part, right?
[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe.
[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe.
[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I forget.
[00:34:06] [SPEAKER_01]: But how?
[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I think they knew that he was coming, but didn't know that they were engaged.
[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what it was.
[00:34:13] [SPEAKER_01]: And you don't just yell, play music into thin air.
[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_01]: No.
[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_01]: You've got to prompt these things.
[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:34:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Twice.
[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Why?
[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess...
[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Like other movies, they make up a name.
[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_01]: You know?
[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_01]: They'll make up a dumb name for it.
[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Play Christmas music.
[00:34:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's always fun.
[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess that should have been a sign early on that they didn't even make up a name
[00:34:31] [SPEAKER_01]: for the thing.
[00:34:32] [SPEAKER_01]: They just said play loudly, and that was it.
[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_01]: So congratulations, Fireside by Deerforms here duking it out with Balsam for products.
[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_01]: We love Deerforms.
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Product placement.
[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Decky.
[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Love Deerforms.
[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_01]: We're not getting a lot.
[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_01]: This is two that I've counted this year for product placements.
[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_01]: So I hope we get a few more to round out the contenders.
[00:34:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Deerforms was aggressive.
[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_01]: They were aggressive.
[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, man.
[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_01]: That was...
[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_02]: They advertised with us one year.
[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Did you get some?
[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Really?
[00:34:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we did.
[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_02]: We got several.
[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_02]: They sent us a box.
[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_02]: My wife loves...
[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_02]: She's still...
[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Really?
[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_03]: She's still rocks in one of those.
[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:35:01] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a good one.
[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a good one.
[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a good one.
[00:35:04] [SPEAKER_03]: I will say, spoiler alert to later this weekend, but the Lifetime movie this week or last weekend
[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_03]: was sponsored by Discount Tire, and that's fun.
[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Just hanging out at the tire shop the whole time.
[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_03]: I love it.
[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Just hanging out.
[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I wonder if the mayor lets any other pastors officiate the Christmas Eve service or if it
[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_01]: just always is her husband.
[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Does any other pastor get a turn in this town?
[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's three or four churches in this town.
[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_01]: We know that, Dan, because there's overhead.
[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of people driving in.
[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_02]: There was one scene where there are three churches next to each other.
[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, man.
[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank God.
[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a tough block.
[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_02]: But I was under the impression that the Christmas Eve service was at his church.
[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't think...
[00:35:42] [SPEAKER_01]: See, that was confusing, too, because they were talking about...
[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Because the building had messed up.
[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was just his, like...
[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they were talking about the Christmas market or Christmas celebration and all the
[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_01]: things around it, and it all culminates in the service at his church.
[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, what about the other churches?
[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, we don't get promoted here by the town?
[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_01]: That's wild.
[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And just the...
[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_01]: You can't take that bet, Jason.
[00:36:04] [SPEAKER_01]: A bet where the guy says you get to do something embarrassing that I pick.
[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Anything that I pick.
[00:36:09] [SPEAKER_01]: You might end up dancing at your wedding.
[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_01]: If you take that...
[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_01]: ...not knowing what's coming up.
[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Watch out.
[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Look out.
[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Things can get out of hand.
[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_01]: You can't.
[00:36:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And just that tree lighting was just super underwhelming.
[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I expected a lot more out of that tree.
[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe his light guy is not that good.
[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe.
[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that's what it is.
[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, that's not good.
[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Listen, we've talked about it on the show before.
[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_03]: I know I'm ringing bells that have already been rung.
[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_03]: That's the old thing.
[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm ringing bells that have already been rung.
[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't unring that bell.
[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Listen to that thing.
[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_03]: It's ringing.
[00:36:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not taking marriage advice from anyone who thinks that a double bed is an appropriate
[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_03]: size for two people.
[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_03]: It's ridiculous.
[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not.
[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_03]: It's offensive.
[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't make you better than us.
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_03]: No.
[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Just because...
[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_03]: You got a three-story house, bro.
[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Just because we...
[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Small rooms.
[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Just because I like a king bed doesn't mean that I don't love my wife.
[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Just because you sleep in a double bed doesn't mean that you love her more.
[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_03]: No kidding.
[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Just shove off with it.
[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_03]: It's not an appropriate size for two people.
[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Double bed doesn't mean double people.
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_03]: No.
[00:37:11] [SPEAKER_03]: They should rename it.
[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_03]: We should take that to the board.
[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_03]: It's offensive.
[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_03]: The bed board.
[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_03]: It's offensive.
[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_03]: I love that Pastor Daddy is, I think, the only dad in the history of TV and cinema to
[00:37:24] [SPEAKER_03]: hear that his daughter is marrying somebody who has money and is like, I wish that wasn't
[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_03]: the case.
[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_03]: He's so mad that this guy has money.
[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And in all of cinema forever, it's been like, hey, how are you going to...
[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_03]: If this was a real guy, a real pastor, the pastor would be like, so how are you going
[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_03]: to take care of my daughter?
[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_03]: How are you going to take care of my daughter?
[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_03]: How are you going to take care of my daughter?
[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_05]: This guy's like, you're going to take care?
[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_05]: You have money?
[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I think this is the most frustrating part of this movie, which is it's trying to act
[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_02]: like it isn't patriarchal.
[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It's trying to be like, we know this movie is centered around a bunch of dudes deciding
[00:38:05] [SPEAKER_02]: that they get to give their opinion on the fate of what this woman wants to do.
[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And so they're trying to do things like what you just said, which is like, let's have
[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_02]: him mad that this guy's rich.
[00:38:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:38:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's just like, if you're going to be this movie, be this movie.
[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Make it where somebody learned something valuable instead of whatever they did here.
[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_02]: It's ridiculous.
[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Tell us.
[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_02]: But it still didn't make any sense.
[00:38:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, what's the point of that?
[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_03]: I just didn't get it.
[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't get it.
[00:38:59] [SPEAKER_03]: I do have a new fear.
[00:39:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And I didn't, you know, you live to a certain point and you're like, I've found all my fears.
[00:39:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I haven't.
[00:39:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And then they still come to me.
[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_03]: Apparently, I am now afraid of the idea of my wife getting pregnant and then taking a walk
[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_03]: and it beginning to snow and her dropping her keys down a grave.
[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_03]: It's the ultimate worst case scenario.
[00:39:23] [SPEAKER_03]: It's the worst case scenario.
[00:39:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Your nine-month pregnant wife going for a walk.
[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_03]: It beginning to snow.
[00:39:30] [SPEAKER_03]: For some reason, she's swinging her keys around and the keys fall into the old storm drain.
[00:39:35] [SPEAKER_03]: That's worst case scenario.
[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_03]: That's worst case scenario.
[00:39:39] [SPEAKER_03]: And it was something that I didn't know that I had to be worried about.
[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_03]: And now I am.
[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_03]: So that's tough.
[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_03]: She wakes up on Christmas Eve day or Christmas morning.
[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.
[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_03]: And the blinds are just wide open.
[00:39:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Sun is just beaming in.
[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_03]: And I don't know how you sleep like that.
[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_03]: No way.
[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how.
[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_03]: No way, no way.
[00:39:59] [SPEAKER_03]: When the tiniest little...
[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_03]: We were at the marathon, Bri.
[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_03]: And a little bit of sun came through the window and I was shot.
[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody's up.
[00:40:07] [SPEAKER_03]: I was shot.
[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I was like, well, now it's time to start the day.
[00:40:09] [SPEAKER_03]: And there's nothing that I could do about that.
[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_03]: And so I wish I had the power to sleep through the sunlight, but I don't.
[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_03]: And kudos to her.
[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_03]: And lastly, it is clear that they picked...
[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_03]: They didn't have the song in mind when they did the robot.
[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_03]: Because it was a bad robot song.
[00:40:27] [SPEAKER_03]: It was a bad song to have somebody do the robot to.
[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Terrible song.
[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they would all agree.
[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_03]: It was a great song.
[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_03]: It was catchy.
[00:40:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Not for robots.
[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Not a good robot song.
[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Not a good robot song.
[00:40:35] [SPEAKER_03]: You got to pick something electronic.
[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that was the bet.
[00:40:41] [SPEAKER_03]: I pitched that song, too.
[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_03]: You did?
[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_03]: You pitched it.
[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_03]: No.
[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_03]: He lost the bet.
[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_03]: He can't do the robot to an electronic song.
[00:40:47] [SPEAKER_03]: But you would say, hey, play like Funky Town or something.
[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, you'd play some sort of robot.
[00:40:51] [SPEAKER_03]: That's something.
[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_03]: You bet.
[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_01]: He's got to do a not robot song dance.
[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Was that your last one?
[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, go ahead.
[00:40:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, the other way one of that is, is that how in the world is this embarrassing in any
[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_02]: way, shape, or form?
[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_02]: How?
[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_02]: You have to do something embarrassing.
[00:41:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I get to choose it.
[00:41:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Do the robot at your wedding.
[00:41:13] [SPEAKER_02]: With everybody else.
[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_02]: With everybody else.
[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:41:15] [SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly right.
[00:41:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't, like, it's the worst way to end this movie possible.
[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_02]: It was so unearned and ridiculous.
[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_02]: This is, forget the fact that this is their dad.
[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_02]: This is her dad.
[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_02]: That is bad.
[00:41:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Even if this pastor is not her dad, this is the worst premarital counseling I've ever seen
[00:41:36] [SPEAKER_02]: in my life.
[00:41:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, ever.
[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Pretty bad.
[00:41:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, look at each other and tell the other person something that you're afraid to admit
[00:41:44] [SPEAKER_02]: without right now or like, one, two, three, go.
[00:41:48] [SPEAKER_02]: How's that?
[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Marital counseling.
[00:41:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Drive a golf cart blindfolded.
[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Build a hat.
[00:41:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, this is some of the worst just counsel.
[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I think if you're a counselor and you're watching this movie or a therapist, you're
[00:42:00] [SPEAKER_02]: watching this movie, you're like, like, you want to sue somebody.
[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It's so terrible.
[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_02]: And then at one point, it's like you have a million dollars to give the other a Christmas
[00:42:10] [SPEAKER_02]: gift.
[00:42:10] [SPEAKER_02]: And she says, they live in New York City.
[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes?
[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_02]: I know he's a big baseball fan.
[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to get him season tickets for life.
[00:42:19] [SPEAKER_02]: No, you're not.
[00:42:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Not the million dollars.
[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Not to the Yankees or the Mets.
[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you're running out of money real soon.
[00:42:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's not going to last you a lifetime of season tickets.
[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_02]: How much did that cost?
[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, how many seats you won a game?
[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Two.
[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Two seats.
[00:42:35] [SPEAKER_02]: 82 games at Yankee Stadium.
[00:42:37] [SPEAKER_02]: If it's not, even if it's in the upper deck, you're $200, $300 a game.
[00:42:40] [SPEAKER_02]: You're $2,000.
[00:42:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you might be able to do it in the upper deck, but if you wanted anything near
[00:42:46] [SPEAKER_02]: good seats, you would not be able to do it.
[00:42:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the seats around the field at Yankee Stadium are $1,200 for one seat.
[00:42:51] [SPEAKER_02]: So, $2,400, you're at $160,000, $165,000 for one year.
[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_01]: But you put that million in a stock index fund.
[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you put it in Doge.
[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:43:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Then you're talking.
[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:43:04] [SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah.
[00:43:05] [SPEAKER_02]: All of that stuff drove me nuts.
[00:43:06] [SPEAKER_02]: The lack of any religion in this movie drove me nuts.
[00:43:10] [SPEAKER_02]: The hot chocolate stuff drove me nuts.
[00:43:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And not the argument over if it's good hot chocolate.
[00:43:15] [SPEAKER_02]: It's that there's a stand for hot chocolate that's set up outside somewhere that everyone
[00:43:20] [SPEAKER_02]: loves and it's great.
[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_02]: But the dude waits for the parents to come and when he orders hot chocolates, he yells
[00:43:27] [SPEAKER_02]: it from like 30 feet away.
[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_02]: So, like, imagine if there's like a food truck and like you're not in line.
[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Like you're not in line.
[00:43:38] [SPEAKER_02]: He's like not anywhere near them.
[00:43:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And he's like, four hot chocolates, please.
[00:43:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I need four.
[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Nobody get in line.
[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_02]: You start making mine first.
[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I called it.
[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I said it from back here.
[00:43:48] [SPEAKER_02]: You're in the parking lot back there.
[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_05]: I know they're getting there.
[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Imagine being the hot chocolate guy and you just hear it.
[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Four.
[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_03]: They're not going to make it.
[00:43:56] [SPEAKER_04]: They're not going to make it to you.
[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_04]: Is that you over there?
[00:43:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Did you yell four?
[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_02]: They're not going to make it till you pay for it.
[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.
[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, great.
[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_02]: You yelled it.
[00:44:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to just take this guy's money who's in front of me.
[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:44:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It was ridiculous.
[00:44:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I just couldn't believe it.
[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_03]: All right.
[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_03]: That's all I got.
[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_03]: It's time for what the homework is where we wonder what could have been.
[00:44:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe have it come to clarity.
[00:44:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Any questions that we still have?
[00:44:15] [SPEAKER_03]: What are we still wondering about?
[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what we're going to talk about.
[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Brian.
[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I had a lot of questions around Pastor Dean.
[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_01]: Pastor Junior Dean.
[00:44:23] [SPEAKER_01]: He obviously lives at the church, right?
[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't leave the church.
[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_01]: The parsonage or something like that.
[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_01]: He was smiling through the whole scene when the roof collapsed.
[00:44:33] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm just wondering how much work he did on that.
[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_01]: How much of that did he cause?
[00:44:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
[00:44:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Did he just really just put his...
[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Because he didn't want her to get married?
[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
[00:44:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I think he's just interrupting the whole thing.
[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like, nobody's helping me out here.
[00:44:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going to do this myself.
[00:44:49] [SPEAKER_01]: So I feel like maybe he had something to do with that.
[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Did he?
[00:44:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And the big question, though, was the peppermint and the eggnog.
[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I've never...
[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_01]: In my life.
[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Do we need to?
[00:44:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Is it a game changer?
[00:44:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Should we try it?
[00:45:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I think you have to.
[00:45:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like we should.
[00:45:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Write that down.
[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Why wouldn't you?
[00:45:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I've just never...
[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_01]: You've had it before?
[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It's got to be a thing somewhere, right?
[00:45:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Like a candy cane and the eggnog.
[00:45:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Like peppermint stick and the eggnog.
[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Excuse me.
[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I haven't had it, but I think it sounds pretty good.
[00:45:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I wonder.
[00:45:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Would you even notice it?
[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
[00:45:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Knock o'clock.
[00:45:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it would even notice.
[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Knock o'clock.
[00:45:17] [SPEAKER_01]: There's no one way to find out.
[00:45:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Knock o'clock.
[00:45:19] [SPEAKER_03]: That's why you guys do the TikTok sensation that is knock o'clock.
[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:45:23] [SPEAKER_03]: We're TikTok trending.
[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm worried about Pastor Daddy.
[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_03]: We all are.
[00:45:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I think that there is a health situation here that they haven't talked about.
[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_03]: And I thought for sure they were going to bring it up.
[00:45:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Because Pastor Daddy is...
[00:45:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Like stuff is falling through the cracks, which you would assume is why he brought in the associate
[00:45:47] [SPEAKER_03]: pastor to begin with, because he was forgetting stuff.
[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_03]: But before he even knew that his daughter was going to get married this holiday season,
[00:45:54] [SPEAKER_03]: there was just stuff that he just downright forgot to do.
[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_03]: And he's also just not talking about God at all.
[00:46:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And so I'm worried that he's...
[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Like there's something going on with Pastor Daddy that is deeper.
[00:46:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And I thought that they were setting it up with a couple of the things that like,
[00:46:11] [SPEAKER_03]: oh, I forgot to do that.
[00:46:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I thought you were like...
[00:46:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Like with the lights and stuff like that, that I just thought were going to come into play.
[00:46:18] [SPEAKER_03]: And they didn't.
[00:46:19] [SPEAKER_03]: And so I don't know.
[00:46:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe save that for two.
[00:46:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Save it for two.
[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:46:23] [SPEAKER_03]: To have it on holiday too.
[00:46:25] [SPEAKER_03]: Save it for the sequels.
[00:46:26] [SPEAKER_02]: The sickness.
[00:46:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Down with the sickness.
[00:46:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
[00:46:29] [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be a grief counseling.
[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
[00:46:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Dana?
[00:46:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Very similar, actually.
[00:46:33] [SPEAKER_03]: He does the same thing.
[00:46:34] [SPEAKER_03]: For grief counseling.
[00:46:35] [SPEAKER_03]: He does the answer to get out of a golf cart.
[00:46:36] [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, I know that you're dealing with some awful loss.
[00:46:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Build a gingerbread house if you can't.
[00:46:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:46:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Scram.
[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_03]: It'll help you.
[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Test the daddy did.
[00:46:42] [SPEAKER_02]: My thing is, is what denomination is this church?
[00:46:47] [SPEAKER_02]: That's my literal, like, you know so much about a church based upon the denomination that they adhere to.
[00:46:53] [SPEAKER_02]: There are hundreds of them, if not thousands of them in the world.
[00:46:59] [SPEAKER_02]: And this church is such a nondescript church.
[00:47:02] [SPEAKER_02]: This guy doesn't drink.
[00:47:04] [SPEAKER_02]: He won't have alcohol in his eggnog.
[00:47:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Does have, I believe, a glass of wine at dinner.
[00:47:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it's grape juice.
[00:47:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
[00:47:12] [SPEAKER_02]: There's no through line.
[00:47:14] [SPEAKER_02]: It's almost like they don't want you.
[00:47:16] [SPEAKER_03]: He definitely wouldn't drink out in public.
[00:47:17] [SPEAKER_03]: You might drink behind inside, but not at home.
[00:47:20] [SPEAKER_02]: They don't want him to be tied to any specific denomination for it.
[00:47:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what reason.
[00:47:25] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's maybe so I don't, like, start to be like, he wouldn't do this or he wouldn't do that.
[00:47:31] [SPEAKER_02]: But it's so nondescript.
[00:47:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Which denomination focuses on the tab drinking?
[00:47:36] [SPEAKER_02]: The tab drinking?
[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:47:37] [SPEAKER_02]: He's a big tab drinker.
[00:47:38] [SPEAKER_02]: He's a big tab drinker.
[00:47:39] [SPEAKER_01]: He asked for tab to drink.
[00:47:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
[00:47:41] [SPEAKER_01]: So that might be a good giveaway.
[00:47:43] [SPEAKER_03]: He, like, the most unbelievable part of this movie is when he does the rapid fire.
[00:47:49] [SPEAKER_02]: He also had champagne at the wedding, we just found out.
[00:47:51] [SPEAKER_02]: So he did drink in public.
[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's crazy.
[00:47:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Could have been sparkling.
[00:47:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Could have been.
[00:47:54] [SPEAKER_03]: I guess.
[00:47:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
[00:47:56] [SPEAKER_03]: He always wants it to look like he's drinking alcohol, but he's not.
[00:47:59] [SPEAKER_03]: He wants to look cool.
[00:48:00] [SPEAKER_03]: It's a fun thing he does.
[00:48:02] [SPEAKER_03]: He never once said, Jason, where do you go to church?
[00:48:06] [SPEAKER_03]: He never once did any of that, which he 100% would.
[00:48:08] [SPEAKER_02]: You want to talk about it 100%.
[00:48:10] [SPEAKER_02]: 100%.
[00:48:11] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a part of the rapid fire.
[00:48:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Dude, daughter is marrying a dude.
[00:48:15] [SPEAKER_02]: He's going to find out where that guy goes to church and what his beliefs are within 24
[00:48:22] [SPEAKER_02]: hours of meeting him.
[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
[00:48:23] [SPEAKER_02]: There's no question about it.
[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_02]: No.
[00:48:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Easy.
[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_02]: We did it.
[00:48:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Congratulations to us.
[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_02]: What a good one.
[00:48:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Guys, take the rest of the day off.
[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Really?
[00:48:32] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to eat a lot if you want to.
[00:48:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
[00:48:36] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be back.
[00:48:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Dan, you and I are going to be back tomorrow with Ryan.
[00:48:39] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to be wrapping up the unwrapping trilogy.
[00:48:43] [SPEAKER_03]: And then we'll be talking about the Taylor Swift, Travis Kelsey Christmas movie unofficially.
[00:48:49] [SPEAKER_03]: I can't say any of those names.
[00:48:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Sponsored by Discount Tire.
[00:48:52] [SPEAKER_02]: On Saturday.
[00:48:53] [SPEAKER_02]: And then we're going to be talking about another Chiefs Christmas movie on Sunday.
[00:48:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Big week.
[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Big week.
[00:48:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Big week.
[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a big week.
[00:48:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Big week.
[00:49:00] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a big week.
[00:49:01] [SPEAKER_03]: So join us, will you?
[00:49:02] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll be back tomorrow with more.
[00:49:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Until then, we're the first to wish you a Merry Christmas.
