The movie kicks off with Read Along Michelle. She runs a YouTube channel where she reads books. She’s a big dreamer and definitely a glass-half-full type of person. Her sister, Keri, is struggling right now and is going to lose her house come February. Michelle is looking for ideas and gets inspired when she comes across the story of a kid who traded a rubber band for a house over the course of two years. She shares it with her sister, and Keri’s like, “I don’t have two years.” Michelle is like, “I can do it by Christmas!” Keri’s like, “Knock yourself out. Good luck out there.”

Michelle decides to start with a stocking instead of a rubber band. She posts about it online, signing it as Trading Up Christmas.

A struggling journalist named Dan finds out about Trading Up Christmas and wants to write an article about it. So he reaches out, but Michelle says she’s not interested in free press. Who would be? Not us, that’s for sure.

So, Dan decides to trick her into meeting by contacting her about a trade, which she accepts. He pitches the article one more time. But she ain’t having it. Until she is.

They begin to work together to trade up. Dan becomes very invested. They trade a sweater for an eggnog-tasting certificate, eggnog for a wreath, wreath for a crazy animatronic Santa, and then the big one… Santa for a snowmobile! Snowmobile for a trip to Hawaii. Things are going great. And the sparks are flying between Michelle and Dan.

Then they get the BIG trade – the trip for an RV. And you can trade an RV for a house.

Dan has a brother, Jack, who is a very successful real estate agent, and he finds a house that may be up for trade.

But things start to go wrong. The house falls through, and then Dan’s editor decides to publish names and pictures of Michelle and her sister, even though Dan promised they’d stay anonymous.

Dan and his brother find another house, and they make the trade happen, thanks to their dad also getting in on the action and trading his new sailboat.

They surprise Michelle with the house, and then Dan tells her how he feels. They kisssss.

[00:00:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm very excited about it.

[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm very excited.

[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_02]: We're doing this crazy thing where after tomorrow we're just off the rest of the week.

[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a new thing we're trying.

[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_02]: It's awesome.

[00:00:50] [SPEAKER_02]: It feels wrong.

[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I know.

[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_02]: I know.

[00:00:53] [SPEAKER_02]: But Merry Christmas, everybody.

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Hopefully you're doing well.

[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_02]: The 23rd for many people, maybe final day of work.

[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_02]: If you celebrate.

[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:01:04] [SPEAKER_02]: If you celebrate.

[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_02]: If you work.

[00:01:31] [SPEAKER_00]: If you work.

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_00]: The first mystery movie for my money, Christmas Under the Lights.

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it's a good one.

[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_00]: With Kayone and Hemans and the whole gang about Marco Grazini.

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_00]: That was the best of them.

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_00]: I think that's probably right.

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_00]: There you have it.

[00:01:45] [SPEAKER_04]: So there you go.

[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I should tell you everything you need to know.

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Homework mystery.

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_04]: We haven't done this one yet.

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_00]: We haven't done this one yet.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And I said that knowing that my hot take has not been given yet.

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_00]: And this could change the game.

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Dan, real quick.

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Top five Christmas snacks for you.

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Christmas snacks?

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Drinks included?

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Christmas treats.

[00:02:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not a big Christmas treat guy if you can believe it.

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_00]: What about Christmas treat?

[00:02:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I love anything with white chocolate peppermint combo.

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:02:11] [SPEAKER_00]: So I love a bark, a white chocolate peppermint bark.

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm here for that.

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_00]: A hot chocolate with extra whipped cream and some maybe white chocolate shavings and once

[00:02:19] [SPEAKER_00]: again, peppermint on top.

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I love an occasional Little Debbie Christmas tree.

[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, everybody.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And then after that, like I'm probably fine.

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_00]: If we're doing treats and not savory, like I'm probably fine at that point.

[00:02:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I want a chocolate pie.

[00:02:34] [SPEAKER_00]: That's not really festive as much as it is something that is meaningful to me.

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_02]: You could put like a candy cane on top of there.

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_02]: That would ruin it.

[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just saying you could.

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Next to it.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's four.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Do I have to give a fifth?

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, oh, I got one.

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Yesterday, my wife and I had the kids at the park and my wife grabbed spontaneously

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Junior Mints Peppermint Crunch, which is a Junior Mint, but there's actual crunchy

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_00]: bits of peppermint in them.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And I got to be honest, as someone that doesn't care about Junior Mints, this brought it home.

[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Are they bigger?

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_00]: The Junior Mint?

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_04]: The regular size?

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_04]: No, the regular size.

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Wow.

[00:03:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Just a little bit of crunch.

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't take over it.

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_00]: But oh my goodness.

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And if you melted that in some hot cocoa, forget it.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_00]: It's done.

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I've been getting into lately?

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_02]: What are you getting into?

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I have these peppermint bark popsicles and they're delightful.

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, man.

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_02]: From the freezer?

[00:03:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know about that.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I got a big box.

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I got it at Costco.

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll give it to you.

[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Shoot me one over the fence real quick.

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Pop, pop.

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely.

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_02]: I love Christmas treats.

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_02]: What did you make this weekend?

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I haven't gotten any fudge.

[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_02]: You told me you were doing a big weekend.

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_02]: It's unbelievable.

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_04]: I did make fudge the other night.

[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_04]: It's chilling.

[00:03:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_04]: So are we expecting it under our tree on Christmas morning?

[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, it'll make its way to you.

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_04]: It'll make its way to you guys.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't you worry.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_04]: By way of dove?

[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Pigeon.

[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_04]: By way of dove pigeon.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[00:04:02] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm way behind.

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_04]: I haven't gotten to make a lot of good stuff yet this year.

[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_04]: I know.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_00]: You've been really working.

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Two jobs plus this.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_00]: You've been doing it.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a busy schedule.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_04]: So I'm way behind.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I got a list for our time off that I'm going to get to.

[00:04:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Some shortbread.

[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:04:18] [SPEAKER_02]: On the menu.

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_02]: So we'll get to it when we get to it.

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Pretty much.

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll get to it when we get to it.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Pretty much.

[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_02]: I just want a cookie.

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I just love a cookie.

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_02]: A good old Christmas sugar cookie.

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_02]: A gingerbread cookie.

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Queso dip, are you?

[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_04]: That's year's year's year.

[00:04:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Big homemade queso guy.

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_04]: That secret family recipe.

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_04]: That's amazing.

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk trading up Christmas, shall we?

[00:04:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Trading of Christmas originally aired on the Hallmark mystery channel on December 19th,

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_02]: 2024.

[00:04:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And it went a little something like this.

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_02]: The movie kicks off with read along Michelle.

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_02]: She runs a YouTube channel where she reads books.

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_02]: She's also a big dreamer and is definitely a glass half full type of person.

[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Her sister Carrie is struggling right now and is going to lose her house come February.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Michelle is looking for some ideas to get inspired to help her out when she comes across the story of a kid who traded a rubber band for a house over the course of two years.

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_02]: She shares this idea with her sister and Carrie is like, I don't have two years.

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I have less than two months.

[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_02]: And Michelle is like, I can do it by Christmas.

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_02]: So no one asked her to do it.

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_00]: She was like, I just said, your February is easy peasy.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And Carrie is like, knock yourself out.

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Good luck out there, pal.

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Michelle decides to start not with rubber band, but with a Christmas stocking that means a lot to her.

[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_02]: She posted online and signs it as trading up Christmas.

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_02]: That's the name of the movie.

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_02]: A struggling journalist named Dan finds out about trading up Christmas and wants to write a article about it because his boss is looking for some good to feel good stories.

[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_02]: So he reaches out, but Michelle is like, I'm not interested in free press.

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Who can blame him?

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Why do you want it?

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Why do you want it?

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_02]: We don't.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_02]: We hate free press.

[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_02]: We would never do free press.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Never.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_02]: No.

[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Stop emailing us.

[00:06:11] [SPEAKER_04]: We're not interested.

[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_04]: Stop emailing brand at deck, the home.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_04]: Deck the home.

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_04]: For your thoughts.

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_02]: So Dan decides to trick her in a meeting by contacting her about a trade, which she accepts.

[00:06:23] [SPEAKER_02]: He pitches the article one more time, but she ain't having it until she is.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_02]: She eventually does give into allowing a story to happen as long as their names and likeness can be anonymous.

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_02]: They begin to work together to trade up.

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Dan becomes very invested in the story.

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_02]: They trade.

[00:06:40] [SPEAKER_02]: So she traded the stocking for his sweater, and then she trades sweater for an eggnog tasting certificate.

[00:06:47] [SPEAKER_02]: That eggnog gets traded for a wreath.

[00:06:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That wreath gets traded for an animatronic Santa that's broken, but it's cool.

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_02]: And then the big one, that's Santa for a snowmobile.

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a pretty good one.

[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Snowmobile for a trip to Hawaii.

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Things are going great, and the sparks are beginning to fly between Michelle and Dan.

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Then big trade happens.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, here it is.

[00:07:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Bum, bum, bum, bum.

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_02]: The big trade.

[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Just coming in on the wire.

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_02]: The trip to Hawaii.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_02]: To Hawaii for a mobile home.

[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly right.

[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_02]: An RV, which is basically a home.

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Basically.

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_02]: And so you would think I can trade RV for house.

[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Luckily, Dan has a brother, Jack, who is a very successful real estate agent.

[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_02]: So successful real estate that he has his face on benches.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_02]: That's how you know.

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_02]: That's your success.

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Think anybody sits on it?

[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_00]: No way.

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_02]: No, never.

[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Never see anybody sit on it.

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_02]: And he finds a house that may be up for trade, but things start to go wrong.

[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_02]: The house ends up falling through because it turns out seller wants money.

[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And then Dan's editor decides to publish a story with the names and pictures of Michelle

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_02]: and her sister, even though Dan promised that they would stay in office.

[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_02]: So she sees that, doesn't buy the fact that the editor went over his head and all that

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_02]: stuff.

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Dan and his brother, though, they were in an argument and then they come, they figured

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_02]: it out.

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_02]: They find another house and they make the trade happen thanks to their dad, not their dad,

[00:08:21] [SPEAKER_02]: but Michelle and her sister's dad coming in and including the boats that he just purchased

[00:08:27] [SPEAKER_02]: as a part of the deal.

[00:08:28] [SPEAKER_02]: So RV and boat equal house is what we found out.

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_02]: This surprises Michelle.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_02]: She's blown away that this actually happened by Christmas.

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And then Dan tells her how he feels.

[00:08:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Finally, you think he's a writer.

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_02]: He'd be able to say that, but he can't.

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Finally, he does.

[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_02]: And they end up kissing and she gets her stocking back.

[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_02]: And that, my friends, was trading up Christmas.

[00:08:55] [SPEAKER_00]: We did.

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_00]: We did do it.

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's take a quick break.

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll come back.

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll break this movie down.

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I think we should do that.

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: I love that.

[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Personally, that's what I want to do here on.

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Take the hallmark.

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Double EFIS.

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Scratch it out.

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Can I pause you right there?

[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Cards all around.

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:10:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I just read it out loud.

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Double EFIS?

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, double EFIS.

[00:10:51] [SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean?

[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Scratch it out.

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Cards all around.

[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.

[00:10:54] [SPEAKER_00]: All of these are things that we've talked about.

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Two of them.

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_02]: So double EFIS is Christmas Eve Eve.

[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Scratch it out.

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Scratch it out is, I don't know that.

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_02]: You know when you play the lottery, what could you win?

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so it's jackpot.

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_02]: It's jackpot night at Fitzy's.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_02]: On Christmas Eve Eve.

[00:11:10] [SPEAKER_02]: And then everybody brings their Christmas cards to exchange.

[00:11:12] [SPEAKER_00]: All the cards right.

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_00]: See?

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Why did you need me for this?

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_00]: It was pretty straightforward.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_02]: It came in while we were doing the thing.

[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_00]: It's jackpot night at Fitzy's.

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You go, everybody's a jackpot.

[00:11:21] [SPEAKER_00]: What's the jackpot?

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_00]: What can you win?

[00:11:22] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot that you can win there, Brian.

[00:11:24] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a four for twos.

[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_00]: There's several cigarette brands are competing for the advertising.

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, can I stop you with the four for two?

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_00]: You can if you want.

[00:11:32] [SPEAKER_00]: We've done this a few times, but I feel like we can.

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I've known you for a long time.

[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I consider you a good, close personal friend.

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Until I don't.

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And I keep hearing you talk about four for two.

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:11:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I have yet to figure out.

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Transformational grill and cooking and culinary experience.

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not, though.

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not.

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it is.

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_00]: How?

[00:11:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's pretty straightforward.

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Imagine a dome.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Can you imagine a dome?

[00:11:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I got the dome.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_00]: All right, flip it upside down.

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:11:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Looks like a bowl, but it's not one.

[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Turn it inside out back to a dome.

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Still not one.

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_00]: But imagine.

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_00]: You put grills on all sides of it.

[00:12:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's a dome.

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_00]: You're not listening.

[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I said, imagine a dome, but then you turn it over.

[00:12:16] [SPEAKER_00]: So it's not a dome.

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Turn it inside out.

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_00]: And then the grills on all sides.

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But what you've described is still dome.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_00]: You haven't heard a word I've said.

[00:12:26] [SPEAKER_00]: No wonder you didn't understand the text message.

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_00]: You know how you can do two things.

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_00]: You know, you can grill two things at the same time.

[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_00]: What if you could grill four things at the same time?

[00:12:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Twice.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Because the dome's inside.

[00:12:41] [SPEAKER_00]: There's a dome inside.

[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_00]: You got it.

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Are you starting to get it now?

[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Mary double leaf is to you.

[00:12:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Mary double leaf is to you.

[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you later on.

[00:12:50] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Jackpot.

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll be there.

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that was a good one there though.

[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Jackpot.

[00:12:53] [SPEAKER_00]: They won.

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_00]: That was good.

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_02]: It was my pants.

[00:12:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for asking.

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's get to hot text where we share our thoughts on this movie.

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Brian, what do you think about training up Christmas?

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_02]: And also, by the way, Mary double leaf is to you.

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.

[00:13:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Mary double leaf is to you.

[00:13:10] [SPEAKER_04]: This one, unfortunately, just okay for me.

[00:13:12] [SPEAKER_04]: I was once we got into it and I realized what they're doing.

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_04]: I love the concept.

[00:13:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Like I love this idea.

[00:13:18] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought we get a lot more wheeling and dealing and especially like the big ticket items.

[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_04]: I thought we were going to have some fun.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_04]: And we didn't.

[00:13:26] [SPEAKER_04]: It was really fun out there.

[00:13:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Everything just happened.

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Like we weren't part of any of those conversations.

[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_04]: Things were just ready.

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, okay, a trade's all set.

[00:13:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Let's go to it.

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, I want to hear this trade talk.

[00:13:36] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, yeah, that would be a lot of fun.

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, so that was, uh, I was kind of a bummer throughout.

[00:13:41] [SPEAKER_04]: Um, we're in Worcester mass.

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_00]: And the only one, I can't believe we got to this point with your, I heard Worcester mass

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_00]: and then the rest of the movie there's go ahead.

[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.

[00:13:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Just the only one trying is her dad.

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_04]: What are we doing?

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Her dad just full Canadian is trying a Worcester mass accent.

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_04]: The only everyone else is not, not on board, not reciprocating.

[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_04]: No, I don't know how they look at him with a straight face.

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.

[00:14:11] [SPEAKER_00]: He may as well be giving like a weird, like living theater performance.

[00:14:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_04]: A one man performance.

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_00]: It would have been better had no one tried and he is giving it his all.

[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_00]: What would you grade him?

[00:14:23] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh man.

[00:14:25] [SPEAKER_04]: What would you grade him on his performance?

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_04]: He is.

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_04]: I'd say like a seven, eight for, for him.

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_04]: He nailed some of those.

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_04]: He's doing the best.

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_00]: You can tell he went, he probably got a dialect.

[00:14:33] [SPEAKER_00]: He probably got dialect.

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_00]: He did the work.

[00:14:35] [SPEAKER_00]: He went to work out there.

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone else is like, not even.

[00:14:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Nah, kid.

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm good.

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how they looked at him with a straight face.

[00:14:41] [SPEAKER_00]: It was unbelievable.

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_00]: It was like an SNL sketch.

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Where it's like, we're all going to do a Boston accent.

[00:14:46] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And then they leave the room.

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to do a Boston accent.

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And then he's doing it.

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Like that is what this movie is.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_00]: We're all going to say you lie.

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_04]: He trains so hard.

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_04]: He practiced so much and he nailed some of it.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_04]: And it was really, really great.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_04]: But overall, like just kind of boring because we didn't get all the fun stuff.

[00:15:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Like the going back and forth, the arguing, the haggling.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_04]: That would have been great.

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_04]: We didn't get it.

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_04]: So it was just, I tell you, she's great.

[00:15:14] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, I tell you, really looking forward to seeing her in the movie this year.

[00:15:17] [SPEAKER_04]: And the accent real fun, but just kind of okay for me.

[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:15:21] [SPEAKER_02]: So let's get ahead of it.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Talia Ricci.

[00:15:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Amazing.

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Amazing.

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Amazing.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, she's a revelation and everything that she does.

[00:15:29] [SPEAKER_02]: And I wish that we saw her more, uh, on the network more than, uh, like one time

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_02]: a year.

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, you know, last year's straddle sesh.

[00:15:37] [SPEAKER_02]: People are still talking about it around the world.

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_02]: They're still talking about it.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I think Catch Me A Few Claws is better than anything I've seen all year this year.

[00:15:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Christmas wise.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Hot take.

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_02]: They're not going to be talking about this movie around the world.

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, unfortunately, um, she's the best thing about this movie and it's not even particularly

[00:15:52] [SPEAKER_02]: close.

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_02]: She is so good.

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_02]: And everything else about this movie is not that, um, I agree premise wise.

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_02]: I was intrigued, um, because I love a trade.

[00:16:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I love, I love watching people do this type of thing.

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I've watched YouTube series of people trading from a penny up.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_02]: And like, I think those things are really fun.

[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And to your point, part of the fun there is the process, the haggle, the going around

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_02]: like she doesn't do any of that.

[00:16:24] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just like, here's a blog.

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And then everybody comes to her.

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think part of the fun is going, like, I would have liked her to go out and have this

[00:16:32] [SPEAKER_02]: stalking and be like, Hey, what do you have?

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Like fielding some offers or like, or having to make some tough decisions.

[00:16:38] [SPEAKER_02]: But the, you know, and I thought the one thing that, that hurt this movie more than anything

[00:16:43] [SPEAKER_02]: else was the initial trade of the stalking was a big trade to her because the stalking

[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_02]: mattered to her.

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_02]: But we didn't know how important the stalking was or why it was important until over halfway

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_02]: through the movie.

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think had we known that the stakes would have started even higher than they were, and

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_02]: we maybe would have like, I just, I would have appreciated that.

[00:17:07] [SPEAKER_02]: And so overall didn't really care that much about this romance.

[00:17:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, I thought that, uh, her and her sister, that's relationship was really fun to me, but

[00:17:18] [SPEAKER_02]: that's probably the most fun relationship in this movie.

[00:17:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, again, Italia Ricci, wonderful.

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Everything else, not so much, unfortunately, because, uh, this movie was set up to be a movie

[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_02]: that I dug and it just didn't quite happen.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Dano?

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I hate it.

[00:17:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, this is one of the worst of the year.

[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Italia Ricci is fantastic and I want her to be in more Hallmark, more of whatever she'd

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_00]: like to be in.

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_00]: She's unbelievable.

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_00]: The rest of this movie, good grief.

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, some of the choices dialect or otherwise questionable, but I think to eat both of your

[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_00]: points, you either need to go hard on the selling and trading or on Christmas magic.

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I like the idea of this movie being more like of a, you know, a tapestry where you go

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_00]: to this family and they've been given something and they want to pay it forward and they go,

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_00]: we should try to find somebody to give this thing to.

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_00]: And then they see the post and then we do that.

[00:18:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And then like, it keeps going all the way on up.

[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_00]: And so you get to meet the people that are giving this thing.

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Right.

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And then it's like this cool thing about how everyone gave as much as they could.

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Like there's parables in a lot of ancient texts about how if you give sacrificially,

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_00]: that's better than a rich person giving some for them, which would be everything to someone

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_00]: else.

[00:18:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I love that idea as a, as a trade up Christmas idea.

[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Like we got this woman a house because we all did a little bit.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_00]: We all did something that hurt and stung a little to give, but was better for somebody

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_00]: else.

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_00]: That's not the movie we get.

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_00]: We get this weird thing where he just rifles through emails and goes, I got one, but do

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_00]: you trust me?

[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_00]: And it sucks.

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_00]: It's bad.

[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_00]: And it is like, then we realized the movie's about over and we're 50 minutes in, they got

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_00]: a mobile home.

[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_00]: And so then they got to throw you some curve balls where the brothers are fighting and

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_00]: the house doesn't go through.

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And I just felt like the movie was an eternity.

[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_00]: It is just unfortunate.

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I think there are some bones here of a good movie and Italia Ricci is wonderful, but the

[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_00]: execution across the board leaves so much to be desired.

[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_00]: It is just a tough watch.

[00:19:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, boy, tough way to end it.

[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, how it is is our last one fingers crossed get a little redemption there.

[00:19:26] [SPEAKER_00]: The redemption with the dog.

[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.

[00:19:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's get to all the fields.

[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_02]: We're talking about what this would give us fields, right?

[00:19:33] [SPEAKER_04]: Nick spear S P E A R.

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:19:35] [SPEAKER_04]: That guy was a lot of fun.

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_04]: You remember?

[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_04]: He was the car salesman.

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_04]: He was car salesman.

[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah.

[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_04]: He's playing cold.

[00:19:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_04]: He's like constantly just kind of like that.

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_04]: He was freezing out there.

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_04]: He's going to go inside.

[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_04]: It's warm in there.

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_04]: He was good.

[00:19:49] [SPEAKER_04]: He was a lot of fun.

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_04]: He's also, spoiler alert, my what the hallmark.

[00:19:54] [SPEAKER_04]: I want, there's so much to him.

[00:19:56] [SPEAKER_04]: He's colder than everyone else.

[00:19:58] [SPEAKER_04]: Look how thin he was.

[00:19:59] [SPEAKER_04]: He was so, he's got nothing on him.

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_04]: He's got no bones.

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_00]: You say he's smaller than Italia Ricci.

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_00]: He's got no bones as well.

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I think she was dressed.

[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_04]: Good.

[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_04]: He's all bones.

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_04]: He was not dressed appropriately.

[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_00]: He's colder than everyone by 50 degrees.

[00:20:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he's out there in the cold all day.

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.

[00:20:11] [SPEAKER_04]: He's hustling all day.

[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_04]: He's going to haggle like he didn't get to, but you know he would.

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_04]: You know he would.

[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_02]: You do this fake shiver so that people hurry up.

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_02]: He gets it.

[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Next level.

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Lateral thinking.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_04]: That's right.

[00:20:26] [SPEAKER_04]: Lateral thinking.

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't break the glass.

[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_04]: Don't break the glass.

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_02]: There's a salesman.

[00:20:30] [SPEAKER_02]: He's shivering, but no one else is.

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Why is that?

[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_02]: It's good.

[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_02]: We're getting somewhere.

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I, I, mine is the RV.

[00:20:38] [SPEAKER_02]: It was a very nice RV.

[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_02]: It was a nice little RV.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And I've, you know, I'm not a big road trip boy, but I think RV might change that.

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I've looked at a lot of RVs.

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_02]: I think RVs are pretty fun.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_02]: So maybe we could rent an RV, take this show on the road, do a thing.

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_02]: I think RV would be great.

[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Throw our families in there.

[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Good God.

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_02]: All the families.

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a big RV.

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a big RV.

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_02]: This is a massive.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Lots and lots of room.

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_02]: This is several RVs.

[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_02]: You're talking about a bus tour.

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Good Wi-Fi.

[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_02]: This RV has big table.

[00:21:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Big table.

[00:21:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Lots of food.

[00:21:11] [SPEAKER_02]: The yard is the world.

[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the whole world.

[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_02]: It's my father's RV.

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_00]: It's my father's RV.

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.

[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Dan?

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't really have anything here and I feel like I've been hard enough on the movie as

[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_00]: is.

[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Stuff watch everybody.

[00:21:23] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.

[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll see you out there.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Good luck.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_00]: What are your thoughts on RVs?

[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Mary Evas Evas.

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about an RV.

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's good for you.

[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I just stop for me.

[00:21:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, great.

[00:21:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, would rather just drive my car and sleep in a bed, a normal bed when I get there.

[00:21:36] [SPEAKER_02]: They are beds though.

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_02]: There are.

[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_00]: And none of that's made for six, five.

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Like I've been, I've been in an RV.

[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_00]: What if we got stayed the night in an RV?

[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_00]: None of that is made for someone.

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_02]: What if we make a business?

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It's six, five.

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_00]: What if we make a business?

[00:21:49] [SPEAKER_02]: It's six, five RV.

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_00]: It's six, five.

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Big and tall RV.

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, there's a few issues there just mathematically with having it a car that can be driven on

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_00]: the road.

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_04]: The math checks out.

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_04]: Just do this.

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Just do it in my head.

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's start big RV right now.

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I just did it in my head.

[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's do it.

[00:22:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's do it.

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's do it.

[00:22:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's do it.

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's do it.

[00:22:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's do it.

[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's do it.

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_00]: It's from what I understand.

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_00]: That's funny.

[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_00]: That's funny guy.

[00:22:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:22:51] [SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly right, Dano.

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You and I have both been to therapy and there have been times where I've gone to therapy

[00:22:58] [SPEAKER_02]: because I need to talk through something specifically.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_02]: And there's been times where I just want to talk to somebody about life.

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing serious has to be going on for you to benefit from therapy.

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And the great thing about BetterHelp is, is you can do it from anywhere.

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_02]: They are flexible.

[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_02]: You can give it a shot whenever you want to.

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_02]: It's entirely online.

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_02]: And all you got to do is fill out a brief questionnaire about what you're looking for

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_02]: in a therapist and they will match you with one.

[00:23:24] [SPEAKER_02]: And then you can also switch therapist anytime for no additional charge to find the therapist

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_02]: that works best for you.

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly right, Brian.

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Find comfort this December with BetterHelp.

[00:23:51] [SPEAKER_02]: People don't know that.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_02]: They don't know that.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_02]: The sticks are where it's at.

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_02]: They sleep on the sticks.

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's get to the weight watts of Trading Up Christmas.

[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_02]: This is where we talk about when this movie made us go away.

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_02]: What, Brian?

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_04]: When she decided to put up the post of her trading up scenario there, she acted like,

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_04]: it was like a 10 second little thing.

[00:24:08] [SPEAKER_04]: And she acted like she was thinking while she's typing.

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_04]: And then immediately she had like a complete three paragraph post with picture.

[00:24:14] [SPEAKER_04]: It's good.

[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_04]: It was great.

[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_04]: She did so fast.

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_02]: She's a professional.

[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:24:17] [SPEAKER_04]: It looks like it.

[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_04]: Those are, I just feel like a couple of bad trades.

[00:24:21] [SPEAKER_04]: We started out with a couple of bad trades.

[00:24:23] [SPEAKER_00]: A couple of lateral at best.

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_04]: Like a sentimental stocking.

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_04]: For a sweater.

[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_04]: For a sweater.

[00:24:28] [SPEAKER_04]: For a random bad sweater.

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_04]: No.

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Just not a good trade.

[00:24:31] [SPEAKER_04]: And then the, I mean the eggnog for the wreath feels comparable.

[00:24:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Like the value wise.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_02]: If you're really into eggnog, that's backwards.

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:24:38] [SPEAKER_04]: I would have held onto that.

[00:24:39] [SPEAKER_04]: I would have never, we never would have got the house.

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I would have used that eggnog coupon.

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_04]: It was done and done.

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_04]: We're done.

[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Nobody's getting a house.

[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry.

[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:24:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, not this year.

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_00]: How many times have you been here in an eggnog tasting certificate?

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh man.

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_04]: The dream.

[00:24:50] [SPEAKER_04]: And her sister's house, completely furnished.

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_04]: It's unbelievable.

[00:24:55] [SPEAKER_04]: Moved into and decorated without like, without anybody knowing.

[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_04]: You should say.

[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_04]: Surprise.

[00:25:01] [SPEAKER_04]: I've moved in and decorated.

[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_04]: No, you don't need your help.

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't need you to go rent a truck.

[00:25:06] [SPEAKER_04]: It's a tough watch.

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_04]: Holy cow.

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think I've ever known anybody in my life who's moved without me knowing about

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_04]: it.

[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_04]: Cause I've either just been an insinuation of, Hey, I might need some help or like just so

[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_04]: fast.

[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_04]: And then the last thing for me was they've already told each other.

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_04]: They, they're going to miss each other's face.

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_04]: They said that line to each other, which is a really sweet thing.

[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_04]: And then a few scenes later, he says, he tries to find out if she's single.

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_04]: I forget how he said it, but he's like, he's like asking her if she's single.

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It is the latest into a movie.

[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I can recall a conversation about current relational status.

[00:25:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_04]: Like you've already told each other, you're going to miss each other's face.

[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_04]: I feel like we're, we're at this place already.

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_04]: So yeah.

[00:25:43] [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to miss your face.

[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the latest, someone in your life, latest times in a movie like this

[00:25:49] [SPEAKER_00]: where they establish if they're dating.

[00:25:51] [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I said that it's just crazy.

[00:25:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I said that you don't even listen.

[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I was just thinking it through.

[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_00]: It's one of the latest six, five RV.

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_00]: It is.

[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_00]: You can see it in your eyes.

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_02]: You weren't listening to me.

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I was thinking, I can see it right.

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I was thinking about big RV.

[00:26:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_03]: That's a good idea.

[00:26:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Good.

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_03]: I knew it.

[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_02]: He loved the idea.

[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Big and tall.

[00:26:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Big and tall.

[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Big and tall.

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't sleep on the tall.

[00:26:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Or do.

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Or do.

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly right.

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_02]: So, um, early on, she is recording a video of her, uh, reading book.

[00:26:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Her microphone is not plugged in.

[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And I just feel like we've said it enough.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And it keeps happening.

[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Just plug Mike in.

[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Just plug Mike in.

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Or let it go off the screen.

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_02]: So you don't have to see it.

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:26:33] [SPEAKER_02]: It's gotta have some sort of cord dangling.

[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_02]: It's got, it's gotta be a nice dangly one.

[00:26:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Um.

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Home Alone 2, everybody.

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Shout out.

[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Big.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, one.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Home Alone 1.

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Dangly ones.

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_02]: She's got a whole thing full of earrings.

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll call it full of earrings.

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Dangly ones.

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_02]: There it is.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a good thing we did that.

[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Cause if not, you'd have just said dangly ones.

[00:26:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Out of context.

[00:26:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Cleared that right up.

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Could have been anything.

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, the guy comes in, uh, to meet, to talk about the trade.

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_02]: And he just immediately goes up to all the women and is just like, are you trading up Christmas?

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what you could have done first?

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Does anybody in here have a stock or see the giant on the table?

[00:27:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Correct.

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_02]: You just gotta look before harassing all the people that are just trying to enjoy their

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_02]: coffee shop time.

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, he does this thing where he says off the record, can I, uh, can I ask you what

[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_02]: to do, what the deal is.

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_02]: And he's asked the same question on the record twice.

[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:27:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Before.

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's like off the record.

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Can I ask you this question?

[00:27:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I've already asked you like multiple times.

[00:27:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Are we on the record right now?

[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_02]: No, we're not on the record.

[00:27:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And then what she says off the record, he ends up using as a quote on the record.

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.

[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.

[00:27:47] [SPEAKER_04]: True story.

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_02]: He does.

[00:27:49] [SPEAKER_02]: He does the thing.

[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_02]: So that's tough.

[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Journalism, everybody.

[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_02]: You hate to see it.

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, shout out to, uh, halfway through the movie when they decided to start using the

[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_02]: side scroll transition for no reason.

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_02]: I used the heck out of it.

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I loved it and it seemed like a late addition, but I, uh, was thoroughly into it.

[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, and also speaking of being thoroughly into it, his brother was way too into watching

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_02]: them kiss.

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_02]: They're all watching them kiss.

[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And the brother's like, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, so that's what I said.

[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_02]: He was way too into the kiss.

[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_02]: You either, you can watch and be like, that's nice.

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Walk away.

[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_02]: But the whole family watches, which is weird.

[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_02]: But then the brother like shaking his head.

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Was a lot.

[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_02]: He was very into the kiss and I was uncomfortable by that.

[00:28:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Dano.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, yeah.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Getting mad about having to write an article about a Christmas stocking trade while wearing

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_00]: that sweater is absurd.

[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You are in the most festive sweater imaginable.

[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_00]: And you're mad that your job is to write about festive, festive Christmas things.

[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_00]: That's crazy, but not as crazy as that office being a print media office.

[00:28:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, they are a print media.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_00]: They're a newspaper.

[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, that office is ginormous.

[00:28:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, and this, the, this boss is hell bent on getting this story.

[00:29:05] [SPEAKER_00]: He basically says, if you don't get me this story about trading a stocking for a house,

[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_00]: you're out, you're out of here.

[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_00]: Like you right now, what are we going to run on the front page?

[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_00]: If we don't have this puff piece about trading a stocking, I just, it was crazy.

[00:29:20] [SPEAKER_00]: And then after establishing the heck out of the fact that their print, he says, this

[00:29:25] [SPEAKER_00]: article is getting three times more traction than my climate piece.

[00:29:29] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_00]: One, you're in print media tough to track, but two it's around the holidays.

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you think on December 23rd, people are going to dive into the climate could like control

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_00]: that the local paper.

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I saved my climate pieces for.

[00:29:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Or are they going to read the thing that's festive?

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_00]: I like shouldn't be super surprising.

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, this gift wrapping Christmas Eve.

[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to, I'm picking, I'm picking the global warming sucks article every day.

[00:29:54] [SPEAKER_00]: We, uh, we're going to watch, it's a double feature.

[00:29:57] [SPEAKER_00]: It's the Santa Claus and an inconvenient truth.

[00:30:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, you gotta be honest with you.

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_00]: You gotta, my kids are going to be just in thrall.

[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_00]: They love it.

[00:30:04] [SPEAKER_00]: They love it.

[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Al Gore's, you know, charts and graphs.

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_02]: They want to be happy and cheery and then be reminded that none of it matters.

[00:30:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, we made fun of the unwrapping Christmas movies for four straight movies for having a

[00:30:14] [SPEAKER_00]: wrapping store that is empty at Christmas time.

[00:30:16] [SPEAKER_00]: We cannot sit idly by and not mention it right now.

[00:30:20] [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, the unwrapping Christmas stores are just flooded compared to this wrapping store

[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_00]: where nary a customer comes in and then she decides to take the 23rd off.

[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't do that.

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh man.

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't take the 23rd.

[00:30:33] [SPEAKER_00]: That's your Super Bowl.

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_00]: All the people that are buying last minute gifts.

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_00]: That's where you make the money.

[00:30:39] [SPEAKER_00]: It's the whole ball game.

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't do that.

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_00]: Gosh, that's crazy town.

[00:30:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, at one point the sister talks to the brother and goes, I recognize you from your bench

[00:30:48] [SPEAKER_00]: heads like the, the, the, you know, the, the realtor bench heads.

[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, well, that's embarrassing.

[00:30:54] [SPEAKER_00]: That's the point, right?

[00:30:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, aren't you putting your face on billboards and benches for people to recognize you?

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Why is that embarrassing when that is the literal goal of what you set out to do?

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_02]: I recognize you from phyla.

[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, well, this is embarrassing.

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Don't, don't.

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_00]: And then obviously journalistic integrity and crimes committed with the just snooping through

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_00]: his stuff and printing that, that was, that was special.

[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_00]: That's all I got.

[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, it's time for what the hallmark is where we wonder what could have been.

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe happy.

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_02]: So clear any questions that we still have.

[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, Brian.

[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it is Nick Spear.

[00:31:30] [SPEAKER_04]: Come back around here.

[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_04]: Like, is he a good, he seems like a great salesman.

[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_04]: Is he, or is he like the laughing stock of that, uh, that car, the auto shop there?

[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_04]: He seems great.

[00:31:41] [SPEAKER_04]: I'd like to know how he ends.

[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Is that his dad's place and he just plays all day?

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_04]: What's his deal?

[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Nick Spear.

[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Danny, that final, uh, wait, what leads to my, what the hallmark, which is what is this

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_02]: print paper that does hard hitting stuff about the climate change and these nice pieces where

[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_02]: the editor is also as slimy and sleazeball as this.

[00:32:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Like if it's the type of, uh, publication that does these hard hitting stories with that

[00:32:11] [SPEAKER_02]: guy in charge, you have editors that are like hyperactive about, Hey, we got to make sure

[00:32:17] [SPEAKER_02]: that our sources are correct.

[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Like we got a double, you can't go over somebody's head and print the names and the pictures

[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_02]: when you've told your source that you're not going to do that.

[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Um, so this, so it's like the guy, the editor was giving me TMZ while the type of stories

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_02]: was giving TMZ, but the type of stories that they do is not that he's doing the cup

[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_00]: of coffee.

[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_00]: We're asking what everybody's working on.

[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_00]: And at one point he says, everything is everybody's beat.

[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:32:45] [SPEAKER_00]: One of the worst lines ever delivered in a hallmark movie.

[00:32:47] [SPEAKER_00]: And then we hear that there are climate crisis newspaper.

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Get out of here.

[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:32:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Um, Oh, is it my turn?

[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it is.

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:32:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I just wrote down, this is Brian Harold's what the hallmark those closing costs though.

[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Huh?

[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you can't, you think you're just going to show it.

[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_00]: You got lawyers.

[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_00]: You think you're just going to go in and buy a house with no money.

[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Who's trading up here.

[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Nobody's trading up for closing costs.

[00:33:12] [SPEAKER_00]: No way.

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_00]: No way.

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_00]: No way.

[00:33:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You kidding me right now?

[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, we did everybody.

[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Congratulations to us.

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what?

[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_02]: We have a guest tomorrow, which is to tradition.

[00:33:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I think we should do.

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_02]: It's tradition.

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I wasn't going to say that.

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say we should double decker of the week.

[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh yeah.

[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_02]: I like that.

[00:33:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Double decker of the week.

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Double decker of the week.

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_02]: We're all prepared for that.

[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_02]: It's where we do dive deep in the lie.

[00:33:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I just thought about it.

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I just thought about it.

[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_02]: But I know you, you're always prepared.

[00:33:36] [SPEAKER_02]: No, you're on ABC.

[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_02]: We got a special one here.

[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_00]: The Christmas double decker is, you know him, you love him.

[00:33:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, he's the plumber of your dreams and nightmares.

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_00]: It's John Vollmer.

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_04]: John Vollmer.

[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_04]: John Vollmer.

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_04]: That's great.

[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Shout out John Vollmer.

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, I found out about John Vollmer.

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_04]: What's that?

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, John Vollmer, a descendant, if you're going to believe this, of the renowned merchant,

[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_04]: explorer, and game designer, Marco Polo.

[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_00]: If I'm going to believe it.

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_00]: If you can, if you can believe it.

[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So let's say I do.

[00:34:03] [SPEAKER_00]: He's a descendant.

[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_00]: You said, explore, one of the most important explorers, if you read, if you believe the primary

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_00]: sources, which could be doctor, but if you believe those, one of the most important

[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_00]: primary source, like one of the most important explorers, Marco Polo, of history before the

[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_00]: modern era.

[00:34:16] [SPEAKER_00]: You, but you then, you just chucked in there and I tried not to get, get ahead.

[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Game designer.

[00:34:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, and so I'm going to need some more information.

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know some, I always thought Marco Polo, the game was made well after his time.

[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Me too.

[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:34:30] [SPEAKER_02]: But you're saying he, he came up with the game.

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_02]: The breadcrumbs.

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And he named it after himself.

[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, all right.

[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_02]: He was hanging out.

[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_00]: But it's not like the pool one where it's Marco Polo, where it's like you close your

[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_00]: eyes, you're like Marco, and then somebody says Polo and you got to find him.

[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:34:42] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that game.

[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Of course.

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:34:59] [SPEAKER_04]: John, as a descendant, he's kind of taken, taken the lead on, on enhancing the games

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_04]: a bit.

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_04]: And he's come up with a new, a new version of the game here called Marco Yolo.

[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_04]: So with this one, you do the same type of thing.

[00:35:13] [SPEAKER_04]: One person covers their eyes and yells Marco.

[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_04]: And the other one heads off on a seven day trip to Europe.

[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Or picks up smoking.

[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Says Yolo.

[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Or just goes, just goes, hog wild.

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Just goes crazy.

[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Just goes crazy.

[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.

[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_00]: You never know what they're going to do.

[00:35:28] [SPEAKER_00]: You close your eyes and say Marco.

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Marco.

[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_00]: When that person says Yolo, you could be attacked by any number of things at that point.

[00:35:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_02]: They bought a bear.

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_02]: They bought a bear.

[00:35:36] [SPEAKER_02]: But is there also a situation where the person who says Marco has to just sit there until

[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_02]: they get back from their excursion?

[00:35:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_02]: How do they, what's the goal of the game?

[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_02]: How long do they have to wait?

[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's true.

[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_04]: That's, they do have to wait.

[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_04]: Unfortunately, they're ironing out.

[00:35:51] [SPEAKER_00]: John's still ironing out the details of Marco Yolo.

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_04]: Right.

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_04]: You could also, some of this stuff's not going to be a long trip.

[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_04]: You know, you're just going to do it in the moment.

[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_04]: So you don't.

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Throw, throw a thing of candy beans at his face.

[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_00]: You can do that.

[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_00]: That's Yolo.

[00:36:02] [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_04]: You can start a fire.

[00:36:04] [SPEAKER_04]: You can steal a car.

[00:36:06] [SPEAKER_04]: You can do anything.

[00:36:06] [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, anywhere that we actually have a commercial for.

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_00]: For a game that has not been ironed out.

[00:36:10] [SPEAKER_00]: The details haven't been ironed out.

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly right.

[00:36:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.

[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Ha.

[00:36:14] [SPEAKER_00]: You ever wanted to do something crazy?

[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_00]: But thought, if only there was a game out there that could get me over the hump

[00:36:21] [SPEAKER_00]: to make me really go nutso or even say, Yolo, maybe I introduce you to a game

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_00]: called Marco Yolo.

[00:36:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Marco Yolo.

[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Marco Yolo.

[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Marco Yolo.

[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Marco Yolo.

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_00]: One person, it's their worst nightmare.

[00:36:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Close your eyes and wish for the best and hope for the worst.

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_00]: Marco Yolo.

[00:36:38] [SPEAKER_00]: The other guy just says Yolo or gal for that matter.

[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_00]: We're equal opportunity here and we need to make sure you know that up front.

[00:36:45] [SPEAKER_00]: They say Yolo.

[00:36:46] [SPEAKER_00]: They can do whatever the F they want.

[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_00]: Marco Yolo.

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_00]: It's Marco Yolo.

[00:36:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you need a game?

[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_00]: You can just play it right now.

[00:36:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Marco Yolo.

[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Pretty good.

[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how much money he's going to make, but I love it.

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_00]: It's good stuff.

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_00]: For sure.

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, we did it everybody.

[00:37:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Congratulations to us.

[00:37:02] [SPEAKER_02]: We're going to be back tomorrow.

[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It's Christmas Eve.

[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It's Christmas Eve.

[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Christmas Eve.

[00:37:05] [SPEAKER_02]: And we'll be back for our final movie of the year.

[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Dave White will be joining us.

[00:37:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be a lot of fun.
