Lilly is out there, mourning the loss of her dad, trying to find the motivation to decorate without him. To make matters worse, her nosy neighbor is really onto her for putting up her decorations. Lilly is excited to go on a date with the most eligible bachelor but has to give an interview to some guy named Sean first for an article he's writing. She ends up hitting it off with him, and it's clear he's taken by her. She then goes to meet her date, Owen, who is a real estate agent and a total tool. But she agrees to go on a second date with him.

As luck would have it, Sean is going to need to meet up more to finalize the article. So they keep meeting up, and sparks are flying. She thinks, "I really like this guy, but what about Owen? He's the city's hottest eligible bachelor!"

Owen insists on helping her out with a charity event, and at the event, all she can think about is Sean. Much to her frustration, Owen brings her on stage and kisses her on the cheek. She tells him to get lost. She goes to find Sean at his office, but he's already left to go find her. She's told that he went home to be with his wife. He shows up at the gala, but she's gone, and then he sees pictures of the kiss on the cheek.

There's a lot of misunderstanding, but ultimately, they meet back up and right the wrongs. They help decorate a grumpy lady's Christmas booth at the festival, and then they kiss.

[00:00:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Hi, I'm Brian and I love Hallmark Plus Christmas movies.

[00:00:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Hi, I'm Ryan and I watched a Hallmark Plus Christmas movie.

[00:00:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Hi, I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark Plus Christmas movies and this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast.

[00:00:20] [SPEAKER_01]: Deck The Hallmark, it's this podcast.

[00:00:23] [SPEAKER_02]: My friends host this podcast.

[00:00:30] [SPEAKER_01]: We hope you like this jolly podcast.

[00:00:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Hi everybody!

[00:00:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, how are we?

[00:00:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Doing well. Thanks for asking.

[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Hi, man.

[00:00:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, Rye, have you heard the rumor mill?

[00:00:48] [SPEAKER_02]: No, what's the mill?

[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_02]: About the way home?

[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you heard this?

[00:00:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, streaming only?

[00:00:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Moving the streamers.

[00:00:55] [SPEAKER_00]: That's not confirmed.

[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That's not confirmed, but there's a lot of things and we have, you know, the expert Sheila Calloway on the case.

[00:01:02] [SPEAKER_01]: She has some pretty heavy circumstantial evidence that Hallmark has referenced it as streaming in January.

[00:01:08] [SPEAKER_01]: February on numerous fronts in numerous different, you know, mediums.

[00:01:13] [SPEAKER_01]: So while they've not announced it, it does seem like that's happening, which really sucks for a couple of reasons.

[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_01]: One, it's way better than Wind Calls the Heart.

[00:01:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Why not put it on linear television?

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_01]: But two, Force Fridays.

[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I know.

[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_01]: We got five of those left.

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And I don't really know what to do with that because I have so many thoughts on...

[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll just have to see how the schedule rolls itself out.

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll just have to see.

[00:01:39] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll just have to see.

[00:01:41] [SPEAKER_02]: But we'll be covering it one way or the other.

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_02]: March will be there.

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, we'll get there.

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll get there.

[00:01:44] [SPEAKER_02]: One way or the other, we are going to be talking way home and it's going to be a lot of fun.

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_02]: So join us.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Join us for that.

[00:01:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And then I think you're coming back after the fourth unwrapping.

[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_02]: You'll do Cherry Lane with us, right?

[00:01:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Have you seen the original Cherry Lane or is that part of his contract?

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I can't say that I've seen Cherry Lane one.

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Is it like Star Wars?

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Is it actually one or do they start with four?

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_00]: It's an anthology.

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Honestly, that's a more confusing question than...

[00:02:12] [SPEAKER_01]: You don't even want to...

[00:02:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Like if I told you the answer to that, you'd be like, I don't know if I want to do this.

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, I feel like you're our guy now.

[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_00]: You're a Hallmark Plus Christmas correspondent.

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I told you at the beginning of the year, that's all I wanted.

[00:02:24] [SPEAKER_00]: What about holidays?

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: What about...

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Where's holidays?

[00:02:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, once again, the way home streaming really puts a dent in that because we were trying to cover holidays and mistletoe murders, for that matter, in January.

[00:02:38] [SPEAKER_01]: How many episodes is holidays?

[00:02:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Does anyone know?

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I believe it's six.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Six?

[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Six?

[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's six.

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I just know there are like 86 characters in it.

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And that's...

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that is like an exaggeration.

[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I think there are characters.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_01]: If you round up, yeah, we're there for sure.

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And everyone's raving, which makes me worry because I don't know how you do that many characters well in that amount of time.

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, what do I know?

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, as we've learned the last few weeks, Hallmark Plus can do no wrong.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, with four characters, there's eight episodes of holidays.

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_01]: With four characters unwrapping Christmas, didn't it be right by them.

[00:03:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Eight.

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And then there's...

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I think there's six mistletoe murders is what is the difference there.

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, six mistletoe murders, eight holidays, way too many for us with When Calls the Heart and The Way Home.

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_01]: But summer's looking wide open.

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Christmas in July content is right there for us.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_02]: That's true.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_02]: That's actually nice.

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_02]: That's nice to think about.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, we've kind of...

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_02]: We're tapped out a bit with Christmas in July.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Done everything at this point.

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_02]: So, not a bad idea.

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll see what happens.

[00:03:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I do feel like we...

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, there's lots of great Hallmark podcasts out there.

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I do feel like we're the ones on the front lines talking about unwrapping Christmas.

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_02]: So, you're welcome, everyone.

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I've seen literally no coverage.

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm sure if people are listening and they do a Hallmark podcast, it's not that I'm not looking.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I just...

[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Typically, I see...

[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'll see when the girls got a Hallmark, a Bramble Jam podcast.

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll see when they cover...

[00:04:04] [SPEAKER_01]: They're covering Finding Mr. Christmas, which is awesome.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Go listen to it.

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Or I'll see, like, the Hallmarkies are covering something on Hallmark Plus.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I just don't...

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't recall seeing anyone doing episodes.

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_01]: No one's done an episode for each movie.

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't...

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be going on a limb and say...

[00:04:21] [SPEAKER_01]: For providing a service.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_01]: That's not a brag as much as it is maybe a bad business decision.

[00:04:25] [SPEAKER_01]: But movies were...

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Movies were our thing, you know?

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_02]: They're a thing.

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do all the Hallmark movies.

[00:04:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And we're...

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I stand by the decision, but...

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Could we talk about it?

[00:04:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_02]: But...

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_02]: But this...

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Real quick, before we dive into Unwrapping Christmas, Lily's Destiny.

[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Can you give everybody a quick update on your...

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_02]: The finger situation?

[00:04:50] [SPEAKER_00]: The finger puppets.

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, you can't have finger puppets without fingers.

[00:04:55] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_00]: So, ultimately...

[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_00]: That's not true.

[00:04:58] [SPEAKER_01]: That's actually not true.

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't use them without fingers.

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So, I'll post...

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Toes.

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_00]: You have toes.

[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You can put those on toes.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you could just palm them, right?

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_00]: You know?

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_00]: You could palm them.

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_00]: So, ultimately, they're displayed.

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm pretty...

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I'm looking at them.

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_02]: File it on TV slash DTH.

[00:05:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So, clearly, they will rise.

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no.

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_00]: These are the extras.

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_00]: These are the extras.

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this is a long story.

[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Basically, listen.

[00:05:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Everything worked out, except I'm about...

[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Great.

[00:05:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm about $37 down more than I should be on these.

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And so, Christine...

[00:05:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Gotta spend money making money, you know?

[00:05:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Christine at USPS...

[00:05:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I just love that you had the goal to say everything worked out.

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_02]: You got all your shipments.

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Aside from...

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm out $37.

[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_01]: It's weird.

[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Ryan, I love you dearly.

[00:05:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I love you.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_01]: File.tv slash DTH.

[00:05:43] [SPEAKER_01]: You have...

[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna maybe undersell it.

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_01]: A thousand Power Rangers toys behind you.

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Approximately.

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And you care about getting this stuff, but not as much as you care about the price you

[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_01]: paid for it.

[00:05:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Anyone else with that many toys behind them, $37 would be gone.

[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just like a sheet in the wind.

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Not a drop in the bucket, Dan.

[00:06:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, here's the other thing.

[00:06:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying you're independently wealthy.

[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm saying that if you got your shipments, it's $37.

[00:06:10] [SPEAKER_00]: This was supposed to be an inexpensive, just little topper on the Muppet Christmas Carol

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_00]: display.

[00:06:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Also, here's the other thing.

[00:06:17] [SPEAKER_00]: We didn't go to a Tori Kelly concert a couple weeks ago.

[00:06:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I ended up losing about $200 on that.

[00:06:22] [SPEAKER_00]: It's been a rough year.

[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_00]: So you put it all in a pot together.

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_00]: So I have a couple ideas.

[00:06:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Real quick.

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Real, real quick.

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I can...

[00:06:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just...

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm mourning that you didn't get to see Tori Kelly.

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_02]: I know how much she wants to do.

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_01]: I know.

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_01]: That's tough, man.

[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I do hate that.

[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_01]: She's got a great voice.

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I know you love her.

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_01]: That's tough.

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_00]: She's the best.

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_01]: But I do have to get back to this.

[00:06:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I know that I'm not the guy for this.

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I am ultimate convenience charge guy.

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care.

[00:06:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Brand and I have the Regal Unlimited app.

[00:06:48] [SPEAKER_01]: For $0.50, you can get your ticket on the app and you don't have to deal with anybody

[00:06:53] [SPEAKER_01]: at the theater.

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_01]: If we're going to a movie that's going to be empty, Brand waits until he gets the movie

[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_01]: to save the $0.50.

[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I am doing the $0.50 because I'm willing to pay $0.50 not to deal with another human being

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_01]: that may or may not be their first day on the register.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the principal.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_01]: And Brand's like, it's free.

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to make sure it's free.

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the principal.

[00:07:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm paying for the service.

[00:07:12] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I am.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I am 37.

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_01]: If I love collecting this stuff, $37 is like, I know that.

[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Look, it's not nothing.

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_00]: This wasn't my fault though, Dan.

[00:07:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I get it.

[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_00]: USPS lost the package.

[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_00]: And then so it's like, and so Christine at USPS, she's been great.

[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_00]: We love her.

[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_00]: She says she's going to write a letter for me, but I haven't been able to get a hold

[00:07:32] [SPEAKER_00]: of her the last couple of days.

[00:07:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Where's she at?

[00:07:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, man.

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Should we call her right now?

[00:07:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Call her right now.

[00:07:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's see how this episode is going lengthwise and we might do it.

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:07:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:07:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Unwrapping Christmas, Lily's Destiny originally dropped on Hallmark Plus on November 21st,

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_02]: 2024.

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_02]: And it went a little something like this.

[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_02]: You got scared.

[00:07:48] [SPEAKER_02]: Lily is out there mourning the loss of her dad.

[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_02]: We can edit it out, Ryan.

[00:07:54] [SPEAKER_01]: We're not live on the radio.

[00:07:57] [SPEAKER_02]: The radio, you can't mess with that.

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_02]: No, you can't.

[00:08:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Lily is out there mourning the loss of her dad, trying to find the motivation to decorate

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_02]: without him.

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_02]: To make matters worse, her nosy neighbor is really onto her about putting up her decorations.

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a neighborhood tradition.

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Lily is excited to go out on a date with the most eligible bachelor in town, but also

[00:08:19] [SPEAKER_02]: has to give an interview with some guy named Sean first for an article that he's writing

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_02]: about all wrapped up.

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_02]: She ends up hitting it off with Sean and it's clear that he's taken by her.

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_02]: She then goes to meet her date, Owen.

[00:08:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Evan McMahon face.

[00:08:35] [SPEAKER_02]: What's his name?

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, Sean.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Owen.

[00:08:37] [SPEAKER_02]: No, no.

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_02]: The guy.

[00:08:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Owen.

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Owen.

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Man at War.

[00:08:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I didn't write it down.

[00:08:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Man at War.

[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Owen Man at War, who is a real estate agent.

[00:08:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Mansfield.

[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_02]: There you go.

[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, go ahead.

[00:08:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Who is a real estate agent and a total tool, but she agrees to go down on a second date with

[00:08:51] [SPEAKER_02]: him anyway.

[00:08:52] [SPEAKER_02]: As luck would have it, Sean is going to need to meet up again to finalize the article.

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure you are, bud.

[00:08:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, so they keep meeting up.

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Sparks are flying and she's like, I really liked this guy, but what about Owen?

[00:09:06] [SPEAKER_02]: He's the city's hottest eligible bachelor.

[00:09:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Owen insists on helping her out with this charity event and at the event, all that she

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_02]: can think about is Sean.

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Much to her frustration, Owen brings her up on stage and kisses her on the cheek.

[00:09:23] [SPEAKER_02]: After the event, she tells him to get lost.

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not going to work, even though you are the most eligible bachelor in town.

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_02]: She goes to find Sean at his office, but he's already left to go find her.

[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_02]: At the office, she is told that he went home to be with the missus.

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_02]: She assumes that means that he's married.

[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_02]: She's, um, he shows up at the gala, but she's gone and she, he overhears about her being

[00:09:55] [SPEAKER_02]: with Owen and then pictures leak of the kiss on the cheek at the event.

[00:10:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Owen texted her or, or yeah.

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Owen texted her.

[00:10:03] [SPEAKER_02]: It was like weird time for those pictures to come out.

[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_02]: Huh?

[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It is fun.

[00:10:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, there's a lot of misunderstanding here, but ultimately they end up meeting back up and

[00:10:12] [SPEAKER_02]: they write the wrongs.

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_02]: They work together to help decorate this grumpy lady's Christmas booth at a festival.

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And that is actually a bigger part of the story than I totally expected.

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.

[00:10:25] [SPEAKER_02]: The decorating of the booth and whatnot.

[00:10:27] [SPEAKER_02]: But all you really need to know is that they kiss.

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_02]: And that my friend in Christmas, Lily's destiny.

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_02]: We did.

[00:10:40] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I think I got most of it.

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Nailed it.

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_02]: It was your best.

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's take a break.

[00:10:46] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll come back and we'll, uh, we'll break this movie down here.

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I think we might get to that call here on deck.

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_02]: The hallmark favorite Christmas song.

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Go silent.

[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Night.

[00:10:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Tyler Shaw.

[00:11:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Me too.

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Silent night.

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Tyler.

[00:11:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I love it.

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_01]: It's unbelievable.

[00:11:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought I'd heard every different version of the song and every different version of

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_01]: great Christmas singer.

[00:11:08] [SPEAKER_01]: But last year when we were introduced to Tyler Shaw, it was a game changer brand.

[00:11:11] [SPEAKER_02]: I know my life has been changed for the better because of Tyler Shaw.

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm so happy this year.

[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_02]: A Tyler Shaw Christmas is, it's putting all of the songs on one nice album.

[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_02]: You can stream it wherever you listen to music, or you could be like me and you could

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_02]: pick up the beautiful red vinyl.

[00:11:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't wait for mine to come in the mail.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to throw it on the record player, get that little crackle of nostalgia and listen

[00:11:36] [SPEAKER_02]: to a Tyler Shaw Christmas.

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_02]: It's amazing.

[00:11:37] [SPEAKER_01]: He's Canada's Prince of Christmas.

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_01]: He's Tyler Shaw.

[00:11:40] [SPEAKER_01]: You should catch him on his tour.

[00:11:42] [SPEAKER_01]: If you live in Canada, here in the States, find your music streamer, type into Tyler Shaw

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Christmas.

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_01]: You'll thank me later.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_01]: I will say, Ry, I did.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, I will say, Ry, I did watch Muppets Christmas Carol with my kids as I do every

[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_01]: year.

[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I did this weekend.

[00:12:02] [SPEAKER_01]: It went to the forefront of my mind after the talk last week.

[00:12:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And boy, if that movie doesn't hold up.

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it is just, it's good.

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_00]: It's everything you want.

[00:12:12] [SPEAKER_00]: But also it's like, I think you know this, Dan, one of the more faithful adaptations of

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_00]: the book.

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Of the Christmas Carol.

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_01]: Correct.

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And also, I got to be honest, I think it sneaks into my top five Christmas movies of

[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_01]: all time.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_01]: What Michael Caine does in that movie is just, it's unbelievable.

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Especially that little dance he does with the ghost of Christmas present.

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:12:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And then, you know, Alonzo doesn't like it because, you know, three songs sound the same.

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, I'll give you that, Alonzo.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Still amazing.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Just qualify.

[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, of course.

[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_01]: But it's great.

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a great movie.

[00:12:43] [SPEAKER_01]: I just figured I'd throw that out there.

[00:12:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I love it.

[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.

[00:12:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate it.

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_02]: It's time to talk about this movie.

[00:12:48] [SPEAKER_02]: We're going to start with our hot takes.

[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_02]: We're going to share exactly how we felt about this movie.

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Right guy.

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_02]: What do you think about the third one?

[00:12:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Unwrapping Christmas Lily's Destiny.

[00:12:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Was it destined for greatness?

[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was.

[00:12:59] [SPEAKER_00]: What an amazing trilogy so far.

[00:13:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Am I right?

[00:13:02] [SPEAKER_00]: So, I've been kinder.

[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_00]: You have.

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_00]: To the first two than you have.

[00:13:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I've tried to be very generous to these films.

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_01]: A lot of leeway.

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: And this, now, Dan, don't start making Stefan Marbury face quite yet.

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_00]: This felt the most palatable in the early goings.

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_00]: But then.

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my God.

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Dan.

[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I said.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:13:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Dan.

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_00]: But then the blind date, which is no more than like 10 or 11 minutes in.

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Which is supposed to be off-putting.

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Really off-put me and I never recovered.

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, it was like, I wanted to continue to be kind and it just wasn't possible.

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_00]: The biggest issue here is that there's, you know, two couples-ish.

[00:13:46] [SPEAKER_00]: One of which we're supposed to understand and see has no chemistry.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_00]: The other we're supposed to be rooting for and has less chemistry than the one that doesn't have any chemistry.

[00:13:58] [SPEAKER_00]: So, and that's been the biggest problem with all three of these films.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_00]: It's why I was pretty generous last week because I thought that that couple, Catherine Davis, I believe the lead is, at least she was like oozing chemistry.

[00:14:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And there was, it was like, you know, there was something to kind of latch on to.

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_00]: None of that's here.

[00:14:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Really ambitious, but not in a good way, Bran.

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you missed this one in the synopsis that, you know, they do the thing for literally, literally approximately about 70 or so minutes that, you know, she thinks he has a significant other.

[00:14:29] [SPEAKER_00]: And we all know it's a family member.

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_00]: We all clearly know it's a family member.

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_00]: And then the big payoff to that with about eight minutes left in the film, three of which we know has to be dedicated to a wrapping contest, is that, is it a really mellow, uneventful conversation where he's like, no, it's my sister.

[00:14:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, but that's what the whole movie is building up to.

[00:14:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe more, I have covered some nothing burgers in my time here at Deck the Hallmark, but this is like extra cheese, extra mayo.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_00]: This was the nothingness of the nothing.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:15:02] Yeah.

[00:15:02] [SPEAKER_01]: That's a good hot take.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't know, man.

[00:15:04] [SPEAKER_02]: This movie is what it is at this point.

[00:15:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I just like the thing that bothered me about this one is her obsession with signs.

[00:15:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And like, it's like this is called Lily's Destiny.

[00:15:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I know it's Lily's Destiny.

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's got to be sense.

[00:15:20] [SPEAKER_02]: But like her thing with like signs is the fact that she sees Sean's picture places.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And like that would be like a good sign if Sean wasn't a public figure.

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_02]: He is.

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_02]: Sean's a journalist.

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_02]: And so she's like, I can't believe they put his picture at the end of the article he wrote.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.

[00:15:40] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what they do.

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_02]: He's a journalist.

[00:15:43] [SPEAKER_02]: They put his picture next to things that he wrote.

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_02]: You're going to see that if you live in the town in which the person who wrote the articles in.

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_02]: So it's just like, I don't know.

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_02]: That was weird to me that she's like, it's a sign.

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_02]: There he is again.

[00:15:56] [SPEAKER_02]: He wrote another article.

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, yeah, man, that's his job.

[00:15:59] [SPEAKER_02]: It's what he does.

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_02]: To your point, right?

[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Would have been better had, you know, there been chemistry between either.

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Anyone.

[00:16:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Either of the guys that she was with in this movie, but there's not.

[00:16:16] [SPEAKER_02]: And so that's unfortunate.

[00:16:18] [SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, she talks to herself a lot.

[00:16:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And it made me sad.

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_02]: It made me sad how much she talked to herself and talked to her dad out loud.

[00:16:27] [SPEAKER_02]: Dad's dead.

[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_02]: All of it just got back.

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_02]: I kind of just got like sad while I watched this movie.

[00:16:34] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I honestly, you could put a like a Nerf gun to my head and say, hey, man, which of these three movies do you want to watch again?

[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And I'd go, I don't know.

[00:16:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how to rank these three movies.

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You literally took my.

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe.

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how to do it.

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how to do it.

[00:16:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And so I'm not going to.

[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't make me.

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_01]: You can't make me.

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Go ahead.

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_01]: My line, Bran.

[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't believe you took it.

[00:17:05] [SPEAKER_01]: We're watching two of these movies together.

[00:17:06] [SPEAKER_01]: If you asked me to rank the first three unwrapping Christmas movies, none of them would make the list.

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_01]: None of them would make the list because one, that would involve me putting one at number one, which I cannot do because all three of these movies deserve to not be seen.

[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_01]: And two, that would involve me trying to figure out if one's better than the other, which I cannot do.

[00:17:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Every week, I feel like, you know, every year doing this job, I feel like we reach the bottom of the Christmas movie barrel at some point.

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's like, this is it.

[00:17:37] [SPEAKER_01]: It can't get worse than this.

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_01]: And the good news about that is, is usually Hallmark finishes really strong.

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Like the end of the year, they usually have one or two surprises.

[00:17:44] [SPEAKER_01]: That's really good.

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Every week we watch unwrapping Christmas.

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think that we've hit it.

[00:17:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I think we've done it.

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_01]: And then it's coming back around for another, another helping.

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it's, we're not, we're not all on a roller coaster that has a start point and end point.

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_01]: This thing's just making a big loop.

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it's coming back around for more.

[00:18:01] [SPEAKER_01]: And we're not, we're not getting off the ride.

[00:18:03] [SPEAKER_01]: We're just here and we're just getting punched in the mouth over and over again by unwrapping Christmas movies.

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_01]: This is not a good movie.

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It is really tough to watch.

[00:18:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I, from the first scene where the woman's like, I can't believe you don't have your Christmas tree up outside in the neighborhood.

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I was out.

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_01]: I was, I don't think I've ever been out on a movie quicker than this movie.

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_01]: It's really, really bad.

[00:18:25] [SPEAKER_01]: And I, I, I just wish, I just wish our time was spent elsewhere.

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I just like, I know we do this for a living.

[00:18:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I just wish our time was spent elsewhere.

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, some of us do.

[00:18:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Some of us do, of course.

[00:18:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Some of us don't.

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Who doesn't?

[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Who doesn't wish that?

[00:18:42] [SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't do it for a living.

[00:18:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, some of us.

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I got you.

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_01]: You were doing this for your leisure is what you're doing this for.

[00:18:48] [SPEAKER_01]: So goodbye.

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_00]: I got to pay off the finger puppets.

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's right.

[00:18:51] [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.

[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_01]: You're getting paid.

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_00]: You're getting paid.

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_00]: That's true.

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:18:54] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I mean, that's why I'm here.

[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_00]: That's why I'm here.

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_01]: That's why I'm here.

[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_02]: You wouldn't do it otherwise.

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_02]: You would have done the first one.

[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise, probably.

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_02]: We barely make it.

[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_00]: You're taking all the pictures.

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_00]: That was kind of wacky.

[00:19:14] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's probably like the number one, Dan.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_00]: You had to do it, right?

[00:19:18] [SPEAKER_01]: That's fair.

[00:19:19] [SPEAKER_01]: You're asking me to rank these.

[00:19:21] [SPEAKER_01]: And I've told you like.

[00:19:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, do it, Dan.

[00:19:24] [SPEAKER_01]: The second one of these movies has the best of these three has the best, I guess, premise

[00:19:32] [SPEAKER_01]: of like this book, like this book and it coming to life.

[00:19:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Is this book coming to life?

[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Like that idea.

[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_01]: And then the lead in that movie, the leading lady in that movie is probably the best.

[00:19:44] [SPEAKER_01]: But the movie is just horrifically boring.

[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd probably do one, two, three.

[00:19:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I think they've gotten worse.

[00:19:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe they're wearing me down.

[00:19:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I'm like so exhausted by it.

[00:19:55] [SPEAKER_01]: If we're doing so laugh, like so bad, it's like we had fun laughing at it.

[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:20:00] [SPEAKER_01]: We definitely got.

[00:20:01] [SPEAKER_00]: There has to be a determining factor.

[00:20:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Right?

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_01]: More chuckles per minute in one.

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I think there's no question about that.

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_01]: But no, these movies all exist in a realm where they don't deserve to be ranked.

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the CPM.

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_01]: They're all chuckles per minute.

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:20:14] [SPEAKER_01]: Chuckles per minute.

[00:20:15] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what that stands for.

[00:20:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's get to all the feels.

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_02]: We were talking about what in this movie gave us feels.

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Ryan?

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Ryan?

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_00]: There was some emphasis put in the early goings to make the shop look busy.

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So that was nice.

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_00]: That's my all the feels.

[00:20:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I kind of like the idea of like a, the best thing I can like describe the thing,

[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_02]: not the wrapping contest, but the event before where they go and they make the booth for

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_02]: the lady.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, it's kind of like a Christmas science fair almost.

[00:20:48] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, you got like a thing you're making and people go by and they're like, yeah, that's

[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_02]: a nice little display there.

[00:20:55] [SPEAKER_02]: That's nice.

[00:20:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Give me a Christmas science fair project.

[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Christmas science fair project.

[00:21:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll take that.

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Cool.

[00:21:01] [SPEAKER_00]: That's the name of Ryan's Christmas script, actually.

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.

[00:21:04] [SPEAKER_01]: That sounds about right.

[00:21:05] [SPEAKER_01]: And it's all science fair.

[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_01]: He wrote, Brian wrote that script to where all of it happens at the sign and not like

[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_01]: the judging.

[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It's all the kids like setting up their booths and like the experiments and the beakers and

[00:21:18] [SPEAKER_01]: bunts and burns.

[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_01]: The kid crying.

[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_01]: That's better than whatever we watched here.

[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_01]: If you, after hearing my feels is anyone that thinks I'm going to have a feels after

[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_01]: hearing Ryan and Brandon try to give Christmas science fair and they made an attempt to

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_01]: try to make the store look busy with three people in it.

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Those are the fair feels we got so far.

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, let's take a break.

[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll come back and we'll get to the way when I want the Hallmark and I think we'll

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_02]: call the USPS.

[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_02]: No, we're not doing it.

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Coward.

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_01]: I will wait.

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Deliver me.

[00:22:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Just deliver me some Muppet Christmas Carol finger puppets.

[00:22:06] [SPEAKER_02]: It's time for the way.

[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_02]: What?

[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_02]: It's where we talk about what in this movie made us go.

[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Wait.

[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_02]: What?

[00:22:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Ryan.

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Lily can't believe early on that she has an annoying neighbor.

[00:22:18] [SPEAKER_00]: She says, quote, of all the houses I move into, what are the chances?

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_00]: High.

[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_00]: The chances are high.

[00:22:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:22:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Pretty high.

[00:22:27] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a name.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_01]: What are you talking about?

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Nothing.

[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we hit the jackpot.

[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Obviously.

[00:22:33] [SPEAKER_02]: It does bring you a little bit of joy.

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Like when you turn onto our street and you see how the Christmas spirit has spread on

[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_02]: our street.

[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Can I tell you?

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Can I tell you this?

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I will say this.

[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_01]: That does bring me joy.

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what.

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, what happened was.

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_01]: What happened was Bram put his Christmas decorations up and there's some people on our street

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_01]: that I think like to be first.

[00:22:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And so they then had to follow suit.

[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_01]: And also, it's the best.

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I have five or six houses on our street that are decorated.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the best your house has ever looked.

[00:23:01] [SPEAKER_01]: It looks amazing.

[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Shout out.

[00:23:03] [SPEAKER_01]: The vlog is out.

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_01]: The vlog is out.

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Shout out.

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_01]: Shout out to Chris.

[00:23:06] [SPEAKER_01]: Can I tell you this?

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_01]: Can I have one critical point?

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I just have like, can I, or do you, it doesn't look like you're ready for that.

[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I didn't know.

[00:23:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know.

[00:23:15] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I saw your face.

[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I didn't know.

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I get to see it every day.

[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And so it's wonderful.

[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_01]: But the more I looked at it, the lights around your door don't seem to match the tone of everything

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_01]: else.

[00:23:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:23:27] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a good feedback.

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Is it?

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you think that?

[00:23:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you made a mad.

[00:23:30] [SPEAKER_02]: It's many lights versus the bigger lights.

[00:23:31] [SPEAKER_02]: So because there's so many bigger lights, you are correct.

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_02]: And I think with the railing, there's garland to hide that.

[00:23:38] [SPEAKER_02]: And it kind of goes into it.

[00:23:39] [SPEAKER_02]: But I couldn't figure out how to get the garland around it.

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_01]: It looks, it just looks like it, it looks great.

[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_01]: No, I understand.

[00:23:45] [SPEAKER_01]: And it took me weeks to get, to be like, what is it that's sticking out here?

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Sure.

[00:23:50] [SPEAKER_01]: But I mean, it looks amazing.

[00:23:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I've been bragging on it for weeks.

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Now this sounds like I'm just being critical.

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_01]: No, no.

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate the criticism.

[00:23:56] [SPEAKER_01]: But I'm just, you know, I did bring it up live on a podcast.

[00:23:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Dan hates it, Brandon.

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_00]: He hates it.

[00:24:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I texted my wife.

[00:24:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I told her to take it all down.

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_00]: They're talking about how All Wrapped Up, the business, was their thesis project.

[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, boy.

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Listen, I'm a public school kid, right?

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_00]: There you are.

[00:24:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Shout out.

[00:24:20] [SPEAKER_00]: But wouldn't that be just more of a business?

[00:24:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Like, what was the thesis behind All Wrapped Up?

[00:24:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Dan, help me out.

[00:24:30] [SPEAKER_01]: You would have to all be business majors.

[00:24:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And you would all have to probably have a very specific, like, a thesis typically doesn't happen in undergrad, first of all.

[00:24:41] [SPEAKER_01]: So a thesis is like graduate stuff.

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_01]: That's first.

[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_01]: And so typically that's why they aren't group projects.

[00:24:48] [SPEAKER_01]: But to have that as an undergrad project, you have to all be businessmen.

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I took two senior seminar classes in undergrad for history, and we had to do projects for both of them that were more writing a ginormous paper, and it wasn't a group project.

[00:25:03] [SPEAKER_01]: But there were some business students that had those.

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_01]: But to say it's a thesis is crazy.

[00:25:10] [SPEAKER_01]: Wouldn't that just be a business plan?

[00:25:11] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:25:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean...

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a...

[00:25:13] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't imagine it being...

[00:25:15] [SPEAKER_01]: What's the thesis?

[00:25:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I can't imagine it being the capstone for your degree.

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't imagine it.

[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_02]: We will wrap presents?

[00:25:21] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll wrap presents and ship them all in the same place.

[00:25:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And we think that's good?

[00:25:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I will say this.

[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_01]: What's the thesis?

[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_01]: We can talk about this in the weather hallmark or now, but like, at the end of the day, the best thing about these movies is I like the idea of the store.

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I personally like the idea of the store.

[00:25:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Of course.

[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_01]: This idea...

[00:25:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_01]: This...

[00:25:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Go ahead.

[00:25:41] [SPEAKER_01]: You can chain it all you want.

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_01]: This idea that you can go somewhere, and it is complete from stem to stern gifting is fantastic.

[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_01]: So they will wrap the gift.

[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_01]: They'll ship the gift.

[00:25:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Make custom wrapping paper if you want to.

[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Custom wrapping paper.

[00:25:57] [SPEAKER_01]: You can buy custom wrapping paper.

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_01]: You can buy your own wrapping paper.

[00:25:59] [SPEAKER_01]: We'll use cloth.

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_01]: It is...

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_01]: Yep.

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_01]: There's so much about this that like...

[00:26:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I hate the cloth.

[00:26:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I love this idea for a store.

[00:26:07] [SPEAKER_01]: However, it doesn't seem like anyone else does.

[00:26:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't seem like anyone in town likes it.

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_01]: But...

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_01]: It was popping.

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It was hopping over there this time.

[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_01]: That's the one thing I want to say.

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I have a few more.

[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_00]: The movie wants us to believe that a cocktail hour is, quote, a brilliant idea.

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it is.

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_00]: You bet it is.

[00:26:27] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a brilliant idea.

[00:26:29] [SPEAKER_00]: So that one really...

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_01]: They throw one of these in per movie, I've learned.

[00:26:31] [SPEAKER_01]: And I forgot what the first two was, but if I'd seen the fourth one, there is one of

[00:26:35] [SPEAKER_01]: these in the fourth one.

[00:26:36] [SPEAKER_01]: I think.

[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I think there's going to be one in the fourth one.

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.

[00:26:41] [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know.

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know.

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_01]: But I think there's going to be one of the fourth ones.

[00:26:44] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll find out next week.

[00:26:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, next week after we watch it.

[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_01]: It airs the whole thing.

[00:26:48] [SPEAKER_00]: So they keep being surprised that they both went to the University of St. Paul.

[00:26:52] [SPEAKER_00]: This is great.

[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Which makes sense that they'd be surprised because they both lived in Minnesota for seemingly

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_00]: all their lives and are roughly the same age.

[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_00]: So what are the odds that they would both go to a local state school?

[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:27:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's tough.

[00:27:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:27:05] [SPEAKER_00]: And then I don't know what this one is.

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I'll just read it verbatim.

[00:27:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the idea of a local realtor being a social media superstar is just asinine is what I wrote.

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.

[00:27:17] [SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's it for me, Bran.

[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Now, I will say, and go ahead.

[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_02]: What were you saying?

[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_03]: One of my favorite TikTok follows is the North Valley Group.

[00:27:26] [SPEAKER_03]: They are real true.

[00:27:27] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what I was going to bring up.

[00:27:28] [SPEAKER_03]: They're phenomenal.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_01]: We got TikTok nerds over here.

[00:27:31] [SPEAKER_03]: No!

[00:27:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I wait until they have Instagram reels, first of all.

[00:27:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you very much.

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Like an old...

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm in my 30s and I don't know what TikTok and how it works.

[00:27:41] [SPEAKER_01]: But they do the thing...

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_01]: You're just afraid China's going to get you.

[00:27:42] [SPEAKER_01]: You say that to me every day when you come in.

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_01]: You think China's getting me?

[00:27:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I know.

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_02]: A chair choreography?

[00:27:46] [SPEAKER_02]: The one where they edit and it's just him breathing.

[00:27:51] [SPEAKER_02]: The guy...

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what I'm talking about?

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Where he edits and it's just...

[00:27:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, their dad?

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:27:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing like...

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_02]: It's great.

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Nothing like explaining...

[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Check out the radio right there.

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_03]: They are phenomenal.

[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Great grits.

[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Good air.

[00:28:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Should we call the post office?

[00:28:04] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:28:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Should we get them on the pot?

[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_03]: The post office?

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't think.

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[00:28:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Aaron, I'm going to give you time codes later.

[00:28:11] [SPEAKER_00]: We got to edit the post office thing out.

[00:28:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I think that was a crime.

[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I think.

[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_01]: We have a lawyer in the chat that says it's not a crime.

[00:28:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, get them to me quickly because this has to be posted for tomorrow.

[00:28:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_02]: You're fine.

[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_02]: And we also didn't talk to anybody.

[00:28:21] [SPEAKER_02]: We didn't.

[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_02]: It was recording.

[00:28:23] [SPEAKER_00]: You can't...

[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Guys, I just...

[00:28:25] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a week before Thanksgiving.

[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't get in trouble for this.

[00:28:28] [SPEAKER_00]: You think they're going to come get you?

[00:28:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't get in trouble for this.

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I did already send an email to the WWE saying that you were...

[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_03]: This is more editing for me.

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_03]: No.

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_03]: It's fine.

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Dan, can you stop talking?

[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_03]: We're fine.

[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Everything's great.

[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Listen, my dad's still alive.

[00:28:46] [SPEAKER_02]: So I don't...

[00:28:47] [SPEAKER_02]: He's not going to bring him back, Brian.

[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what it's like.

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what it's like.

[00:28:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And I hope I don't mind out for a long time what it's like to spend that first office season...

[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It's got to be brutal.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_02]: You know, without your dad.

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I just...

[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I just...

[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_02]: It makes me so sad.

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I get so sad when she...

[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_02]: At the beginning of this movie, she's just like,

[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Wish you were here, Dad.

[00:29:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And, like, just like the saying it out loud, like...

[00:29:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's a weird way to establish that.

[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:29:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Is the problem.

[00:29:15] [SPEAKER_02]: That's the only reason they're doing it, right?

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_01]: She's in the house by herself.

[00:29:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Wish you were here.

[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Wish you were here, Dad.

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I guess.

[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe.

[00:29:23] [SPEAKER_01]: But to start the movie with that was a very weird establishing decision.

[00:29:27] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's not like I wish you...

[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_02]: It's just...

[00:29:28] [SPEAKER_02]: The exact quote is,

[00:29:30] [SPEAKER_02]: I wish that you were here to help, Dad.

[00:29:32] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not like...

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Establish this for a movie.

[00:29:39] [SPEAKER_01]: It just felt really awful.

[00:29:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I wish you were here to help, Dad.

[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Dad.

[00:29:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I wish you were here to help.

[00:29:46] [SPEAKER_02]: So they go to this restaurant.

[00:29:48] [SPEAKER_02]: She's meeting the most eligible bachelor in the town.

[00:29:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And she shows up first.

[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_02]: And she's like,

[00:29:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm here to meet with Owen Lock and Trio,

[00:29:58] [SPEAKER_02]: whatever his name is.

[00:29:59] [SPEAKER_02]: And pretty sure it was something...

[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_02]: We have his favorite table ready to go.

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_02]: He's like, do you get my favorite table?

[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_02]: And they walk her to the favorite table.

[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_02]: And they sit down.

[00:30:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And this is a table where it's...

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_02]: It is half booth, half chair in the middle of the row.

[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_02]: I was like,

[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't wait to see what this guy is.

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_02]: He's got to have a great view.

[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to have something.

[00:30:28] [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be away from everybody else.

[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_02]: You couldn't be more surrounded by people.

[00:30:32] [SPEAKER_02]: This is half booth, half table.

[00:30:35] [SPEAKER_02]: And you're in the middle.

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_02]: You're in...

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what this is.

[00:30:39] [SPEAKER_02]: His favorite booth is one that they wait

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_02]: and see if anybody needs it.

[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_02]: They don't want to sit anybody there.

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_02]: This table sucks.

[00:30:47] [SPEAKER_01]: If I am going to eat with anyone

[00:30:50] [SPEAKER_01]: and they say,

[00:30:51] [SPEAKER_01]: hey, we got my favorite table.

[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And that favorite table is...

[00:30:55] [SPEAKER_01]: One half of it is chair.

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_01]: One half of it is booth running along a wall.

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And you're in the middle.

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_01]: You're a monster.

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Were you not disappointed by his favorite table, Ryan?

[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.

[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it was a lot of buildup for nothing.

[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_00]: It sucked.

[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_01]: It sucked.

[00:31:10] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a terrible table.

[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_01]: It is just...

[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_01]: When you get sat there,

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_01]: you're like,

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_01]: well, somebody's going to be uncomfortable.

[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?

[00:31:18] [SPEAKER_02]: You can either be the rich guy

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_02]: that pays off the staff

[00:31:23] [SPEAKER_02]: to try to leave a table for him.

[00:31:25] [SPEAKER_02]: And it'd be a real spot.

[00:31:26] [SPEAKER_02]: You can be like,

[00:31:27] [SPEAKER_02]: oh, it's one of...

[00:31:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is the best view of the town.

[00:31:29] [SPEAKER_02]: This is why I come here.

[00:31:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Or you can be the guy

[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_02]: who's just like a total tool

[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_02]: but doesn't have the table.

[00:31:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, isn't that like...

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know the...

[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a suck table.

[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a table suck table.

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a suck table.

[00:31:45] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a suck table.

[00:31:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Dan, go ahead.

[00:31:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks, Brian.

[00:31:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I wish you were here to help.

[00:31:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks, Brian.

[00:31:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Brian, I love your shirt, by the way.

[00:31:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.

[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:31:55] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a good shirt.

[00:31:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Ooh, I like that pose a lot too, Brian.

[00:31:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Ooh, freeze frame.

[00:32:00] [SPEAKER_01]: So when she meets

[00:32:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Terrence Coombs' character,

[00:32:05] [SPEAKER_01]: not Owen Mandolin,

[00:32:06] [SPEAKER_01]: whatever his name is,

[00:32:07] [SPEAKER_01]: when she meets...

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_01]: Sean.

[00:32:09] [SPEAKER_01]: You're talking about Sean?

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_01]: No.

[00:32:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I said not Owen Mandolin.

[00:32:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Not the realtor.

[00:32:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Right, it's the mandolin, right?

[00:32:18] [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm saying.

[00:32:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I thought you were correcting me

[00:32:20] [SPEAKER_01]: on Owen Mandolin.

[00:32:21] [SPEAKER_01]: No, of course it's Owen Mandolin.

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_01]: When she meets Sean,

[00:32:24] [SPEAKER_01]: he hands her a business card

[00:32:27] [SPEAKER_01]: and she says,

[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_01]: business cards,

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_01]: can't believe anybody else,

[00:32:30] [SPEAKER_01]: anybody still does that.

[00:32:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And he says,

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_01]: I've still got my Blockbuster card too

[00:32:36] [SPEAKER_01]: if you're interested.

[00:32:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Sean,

[00:32:38] [SPEAKER_01]: those aren't the same thing.

[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Like,

[00:32:40] [SPEAKER_01]: people still use business cards

[00:32:42] [SPEAKER_01]: even though it's antiquated

[00:32:43] [SPEAKER_01]: because people still run businesses.

[00:32:46] [SPEAKER_01]: No one has a Blockbuster video anymore.

[00:32:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Like,

[00:32:49] [SPEAKER_01]: no one has that anymore.

[00:32:51] [SPEAKER_01]: So saying that

[00:32:52] [SPEAKER_01]: isn't the same thing.

[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_01]: One of those things

[00:32:54] [SPEAKER_01]: is something people still do.

[00:32:56] [SPEAKER_01]: The other is something

[00:32:57] [SPEAKER_01]: people do not do anymore.

[00:32:59] [SPEAKER_01]: But we'd love to.

[00:33:00] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh,

[00:33:01] [SPEAKER_01]: we'd love a Blockbuster video.

[00:33:02] [SPEAKER_01]: Bring it back.

[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_01]: Whoa,

[00:33:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Blockbuster,

[00:33:04] [SPEAKER_00]: original Blockbuster cards

[00:33:05] [SPEAKER_00]: are going for $200

[00:33:06] [SPEAKER_00]: on eBay right now.

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:33:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Why?

[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:33:09] [SPEAKER_02]: I can print you on a camera.

[00:33:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Because Ryan exists.

[00:33:12] [SPEAKER_02]: If you have $37.

[00:33:13] [SPEAKER_02]: He doesn't want the new one.

[00:33:15] [SPEAKER_02]: He wants the one.

[00:33:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Huh?

[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh,

[00:33:17] [SPEAKER_02]: he'll know.

[00:33:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:33:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Does it look worn?

[00:33:20] [SPEAKER_02]: That might just be

[00:33:21] [SPEAKER_00]: a couple.

[00:33:23] [SPEAKER_00]: That just might be

[00:33:24] [SPEAKER_00]: a couple greedy sellers.

[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_00]: It actually looks like

[00:33:25] [SPEAKER_00]: it's closer to

[00:33:26] [SPEAKER_00]: anywhere between 10 to 20.

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Dude,

[00:33:28] [SPEAKER_01]: as soon as the USPS

[00:33:29] [SPEAKER_01]: refunds your money,

[00:33:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I know what you're buying now.

[00:33:31] [SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to refund me.

[00:33:33] [SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to refund me.

[00:33:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Dude,

[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_01]: Blockbuster cards,

[00:33:35] [SPEAKER_01]: do they have your name on it?

[00:33:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Or is it just...

[00:33:38] [SPEAKER_01]: The old ones did.

[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_01]: The new ones didn't.

[00:33:39] [SPEAKER_01]: So when they switched

[00:33:40] [SPEAKER_01]: to the rewards model,

[00:33:41] [SPEAKER_01]: it was just like a barcode.

[00:33:43] [SPEAKER_02]: I love how excited you are

[00:33:44] [SPEAKER_02]: to talk about this.

[00:33:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm here listening.

[00:33:46] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:33:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the most excited

[00:33:48] [SPEAKER_02]: you've been all episode.

[00:33:49] [SPEAKER_02]: How dare you,

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_01]: first of all.

[00:33:50] [SPEAKER_01]: Second of all,

[00:33:51] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah.

[00:33:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I talk Blockbuster video

[00:33:53] [SPEAKER_01]: all day with you.

[00:33:54] [SPEAKER_01]: The original laminated cards

[00:33:55] [SPEAKER_01]: had your name printed

[00:33:56] [SPEAKER_01]: on the back of them.

[00:33:57] [SPEAKER_01]: They did.

[00:33:58] [SPEAKER_01]: It is what it is.

[00:33:59] [SPEAKER_01]: So sue me.

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_01]: So sue me.

[00:34:01] [SPEAKER_01]: So sue me.

[00:34:02] [SPEAKER_01]: So sue me.

[00:34:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Someone says

[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_01]: the kids are loving

[00:34:05] [SPEAKER_01]: camcorders these days.

[00:34:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh,

[00:34:08] [SPEAKER_01]: that's my what the hallmark.

[00:34:09] [SPEAKER_01]: And it is,

[00:34:10] [SPEAKER_01]: first of all,

[00:34:11] [SPEAKER_01]: absolutely not.

[00:34:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Kids love Polaroids

[00:34:14] [SPEAKER_01]: and they love taking videos.

[00:34:15] [SPEAKER_01]: But she breaks out

[00:34:17] [SPEAKER_01]: in late 90s

[00:34:19] [SPEAKER_01]: blocky camcorder.

[00:34:21] [SPEAKER_01]: And unless that's,

[00:34:23] [SPEAKER_01]: like I was teaching

[00:34:24] [SPEAKER_01]: high school kids

[00:34:26] [SPEAKER_01]: as of six months ago.

[00:34:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Unless that has happened

[00:34:29] [SPEAKER_01]: in the last six months,

[00:34:32] [SPEAKER_01]: which is...

[00:34:32] [SPEAKER_01]: And they got it to...

[00:34:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Which is...

[00:34:34] [SPEAKER_01]: They stopped production.

[00:34:35] [SPEAKER_01]: After they made this movie.

[00:34:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_01]: They stopped production

[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_01]: and they're like,

[00:34:37] [SPEAKER_01]: guys, new trip!

[00:34:39] [SPEAKER_01]: We got a new trip!

[00:34:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Rerack!

[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_01]: We got to rewrite

[00:34:41] [SPEAKER_01]: the whole movie!

[00:34:43] [SPEAKER_01]: The kids are loving

[00:34:44] [SPEAKER_01]: camcorders these days.

[00:34:45] [SPEAKER_02]: They might like...

[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy!

[00:34:46] [SPEAKER_02]: They might like a VHS filter

[00:34:48] [SPEAKER_02]: on the TikTok.

[00:34:50] [SPEAKER_02]: On IG Reels.

[00:34:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:34:52] [SPEAKER_02]: You're the man.

[00:34:53] [SPEAKER_01]: Me.

[00:34:54] [SPEAKER_01]: And the others.

[00:34:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Owen Mandalay Bay

[00:34:57] [SPEAKER_01]: goes to...

[00:34:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Takes her to this restaurant

[00:35:00] [SPEAKER_01]: and it's like all in red

[00:35:02] [SPEAKER_01]: and then they go

[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_01]: to a different restaurant

[00:35:03] [SPEAKER_01]: that she picks out

[00:35:04] [SPEAKER_01]: and he goes,

[00:35:05] [SPEAKER_01]: are you sure about this place?

[00:35:06] [SPEAKER_01]: It seems a bit casual

[00:35:08] [SPEAKER_01]: and I want to point out

[00:35:09] [SPEAKER_01]: that that place

[00:35:10] [SPEAKER_01]: is the same place

[00:35:11] [SPEAKER_01]: but blue.

[00:35:12] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the same restaurant.

[00:35:14] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the same exact...

[00:35:15] [SPEAKER_01]: It's too bright though.

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_01]: It's too bright.

[00:35:16] [SPEAKER_01]: But instead of red,

[00:35:17] [SPEAKER_01]: it's like a bluish gray.

[00:35:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And they don't have

[00:35:19] [SPEAKER_01]: his style.

[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_01]: His table.

[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_01]: You know,

[00:35:21] [SPEAKER_01]: half booth,

[00:35:22] [SPEAKER_01]: half chair.

[00:35:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Who could you?

[00:35:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Half man,

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_00]: half amazing.

[00:35:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:35:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:35:27] [SPEAKER_01]: The most embarrassing moment

[00:35:29] [SPEAKER_01]: in a Hallmark Christmas movie

[00:35:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I've seen this year

[00:35:31] [SPEAKER_01]: is when they're decorating

[00:35:32] [SPEAKER_01]: this area.

[00:35:34] [SPEAKER_01]: What are they decorating?

[00:35:35] [SPEAKER_01]: The gala for this woman.

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[00:35:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And she...

[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, the science fair.

[00:35:38] [SPEAKER_02]: She comes in

[00:35:39] [SPEAKER_01]: and they're like,

[00:35:40] [SPEAKER_01]: let's hide.

[00:35:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And they hide.

[00:35:44] [SPEAKER_01]: They hide.

[00:35:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Go back and take it to the tape

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_01]: if you must.

[00:35:46] [SPEAKER_01]: If you've not watched this yet

[00:35:47] [SPEAKER_01]: and you decide

[00:35:48] [SPEAKER_01]: you want to dive in,

[00:35:49] [SPEAKER_01]: go straight to this moment.

[00:35:50] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a humdinger.

[00:35:52] [SPEAKER_01]: It's anywhere from

[00:35:53] [SPEAKER_01]: the 40 minute mark

[00:35:54] [SPEAKER_01]: to an hour and 15.

[00:35:55] [SPEAKER_01]: It could be anywhere.

[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you know where

[00:35:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going with this?

[00:35:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Or do you know where...

[00:35:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Refresh my memory.

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_00]: They hide.

[00:35:59] [SPEAKER_00]: It's been a while.

[00:36:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to lowball it.

[00:36:01] [SPEAKER_01]: They hide four feet away from her

[00:36:03] [SPEAKER_01]: behind a perforated park bench.

[00:36:07] [SPEAKER_01]: So like a park bench

[00:36:08] [SPEAKER_01]: that doesn't have wood slats

[00:36:10] [SPEAKER_01]: but has those metal

[00:36:11] [SPEAKER_01]: crisscross things.

[00:36:13] [SPEAKER_01]: They are in broad daylight.

[00:36:15] [SPEAKER_01]: They're not in the dark.

[00:36:16] [SPEAKER_01]: And then they are talking

[00:36:17] [SPEAKER_01]: virtually at full volume.

[00:36:20] [SPEAKER_01]: And she never notices them.

[00:36:22] [SPEAKER_01]: They run and hide.

[00:36:23] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like when my kid

[00:36:24] [SPEAKER_01]: was four years old

[00:36:25] [SPEAKER_01]: and tried to hide

[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_01]: when I came to the door

[00:36:26] [SPEAKER_01]: and I came home

[00:36:27] [SPEAKER_01]: and he thought he was really,

[00:36:28] [SPEAKER_01]: really doing it.

[00:36:31] [SPEAKER_01]: That is the level

[00:36:32] [SPEAKER_01]: of hiding these two...

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Why did your kid feel

[00:36:33] [SPEAKER_01]: like he had to hide from you?

[00:36:34] [SPEAKER_01]: That's right.

[00:36:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Is it because you were

[00:36:37] [SPEAKER_01]: critiquing your neighbor's

[00:36:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Christmas lights?

[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_01]: They were so excited

[00:36:40] [SPEAKER_01]: to see me, Bran.

[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Are your kids not excited

[00:36:42] [SPEAKER_01]: to see you?

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Why are your kids

[00:36:43] [SPEAKER_01]: not excited to see you, Bran?

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_01]: They run straight to me.

[00:36:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Is there a reason

[00:36:48] [SPEAKER_01]: your kids aren't excited

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_01]: to see you?

[00:36:49] [SPEAKER_01]: They run straight to me.

[00:36:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:36:52] [SPEAKER_01]: So that's a crazy one.

[00:36:54] [SPEAKER_01]: He does say,

[00:36:55] [SPEAKER_01]: speaking of the University

[00:36:56] [SPEAKER_01]: of St. Paul,

[00:36:57] [SPEAKER_01]: he does say this line,

[00:36:59] [SPEAKER_01]: which no one this side

[00:37:00] [SPEAKER_01]: of an AI robot would say,

[00:37:03] [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't pulled an all-nighter

[00:37:04] [SPEAKER_01]: since studying for finals

[00:37:06] [SPEAKER_01]: at the University of St. Paul.

[00:37:08] [SPEAKER_01]: You can say some of those words,

[00:37:10] [SPEAKER_01]: but you can't say all of them.

[00:37:12] [SPEAKER_01]: There's too many words.

[00:37:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Not together.

[00:37:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't pulled an all-nighter

[00:37:15] [SPEAKER_01]: since studying for finals

[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_01]: at college.

[00:37:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't pulled an all-nighter

[00:37:19] [SPEAKER_01]: since studying for finals

[00:37:20] [SPEAKER_01]: at St. Paul.

[00:37:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, if you say,

[00:37:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I haven't pulled an all-nighter

[00:37:24] [SPEAKER_01]: since studying for finals

[00:37:26] [SPEAKER_01]: at the University of St. Paul,

[00:37:27] [SPEAKER_01]: you are begging the question.

[00:37:30] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you can even say

[00:37:31] [SPEAKER_02]: just at university.

[00:37:32] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll still look at you

[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_02]: and judge you

[00:37:33] [SPEAKER_02]: and be like,

[00:37:34] [SPEAKER_02]: who do you think you are?

[00:37:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Like you're in Canada,

[00:37:36] [SPEAKER_01]: which they are.

[00:37:37] [SPEAKER_01]: University.

[00:37:37] [SPEAKER_01]: You can't do that.

[00:37:38] [SPEAKER_01]: You just, you know.

[00:37:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And that's all I got.

[00:37:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Aside from what the Hallmarkers

[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_02]: were, we wonder

[00:37:43] [SPEAKER_02]: what could have been.

[00:37:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe having to declare

[00:37:45] [SPEAKER_02]: any questions

[00:37:46] [SPEAKER_02]: that you still have.

[00:37:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Go ahead, Ryan.

[00:37:49] [SPEAKER_00]: So the camcorder one was mine.

[00:37:50] [SPEAKER_00]: So I'll use my time real quick.

[00:37:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about

[00:37:53] [SPEAKER_00]: how I'm going to get my money back.

[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I love this.

[00:37:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I love this.

[00:37:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I have two extra Fazzies,

[00:37:57] [SPEAKER_00]: one extra Kermit.

[00:37:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't,

[00:37:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to bore people

[00:38:00] [SPEAKER_00]: with the return situations.

[00:38:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I think USPS money back is out.

[00:38:04] [SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm just going to put them up

[00:38:06] [SPEAKER_00]: for sale on eBay myself.

[00:38:07] [SPEAKER_00]: What do you guys think

[00:38:08] [SPEAKER_00]: like a good price point is?

[00:38:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, is there not a dispute option

[00:38:10] [SPEAKER_02]: with your credit card?

[00:38:12] [SPEAKER_00]: So eBay is like,

[00:38:13] [SPEAKER_00]: since it technically was delivered,

[00:38:15] [SPEAKER_00]: eBay is like,

[00:38:16] [SPEAKER_00]: we can't do anything for you.

[00:38:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And then the problem is,

[00:38:18] [SPEAKER_00]: since I like to buy

[00:38:20] [SPEAKER_00]: all of these things in package,

[00:38:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I opened all the Hardee's wrappers.

[00:38:23] [SPEAKER_00]: So I think returning,

[00:38:24] [SPEAKER_00]: like I could just return Fozzie solo,

[00:38:26] [SPEAKER_00]: but I actually don't think I can.

[00:38:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So you got all the toys.

[00:38:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I got more than I wanted, Dan.

[00:38:31] [SPEAKER_00]: And this wasn't my fault.

[00:38:33] [SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[00:38:34] [SPEAKER_01]: But the USPS isn't going to refund you

[00:38:36] [SPEAKER_01]: if you got the thing

[00:38:37] [SPEAKER_01]: that you were told

[00:38:38] [SPEAKER_01]: you were going to get.

[00:38:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I got to talk to Christine.

[00:38:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to call her off the air.

[00:38:42] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this is a good phone call.

[00:38:44] [SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's a waste of your time.

[00:38:46] [SPEAKER_01]: The packages were delivered.

[00:38:48] [SPEAKER_01]: They weren't delivered on time,

[00:38:49] [SPEAKER_01]: but they were delivered.

[00:38:51] [SPEAKER_01]: No, one is missing, Dan.

[00:38:52] [SPEAKER_01]: What do you think a good price is?

[00:38:54] [SPEAKER_03]: You had to buy a second package.

[00:38:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I bought a second set, Dan.

[00:38:57] [SPEAKER_01]: But there's no, no, no.

[00:38:58] [SPEAKER_01]: But my first question was,

[00:38:59] [SPEAKER_01]: did you get everything?

[00:39:01] [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, I'm still.

[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[00:39:02] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I have not.

[00:39:03] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_00]: If you didn't get everything.

[00:39:04] [SPEAKER_00]: What are you still missing?

[00:39:06] [SPEAKER_00]: The original Fozzie permit gonzo.

[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Then you should get the money.

[00:39:10] [SPEAKER_00]: But why would USPS not give you that money?

[00:39:12] [SPEAKER_00]: This is on the USPS.

[00:39:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Because it was delivered to the wrong building,

[00:39:16] [SPEAKER_00]: but it's gone.

[00:39:17] [SPEAKER_00]: It's in the ether.

[00:39:18] [SPEAKER_00]: It's nowhere to be found.

[00:39:19] [SPEAKER_02]: You didn't get it.

[00:39:21] [SPEAKER_02]: If you never got it,

[00:39:22] [SPEAKER_02]: you either need to get your money back

[00:39:24] [SPEAKER_02]: or you can dispute that with your credit card.

[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:39:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Because you didn't get it.

[00:39:27] [SPEAKER_02]: You didn't get it.

[00:39:28] [SPEAKER_02]: You paid for something.

[00:39:29] [SPEAKER_00]: You think I can go to my credit card?

[00:39:31] [SPEAKER_02]: 100%.

[00:39:32] [SPEAKER_02]: This is what disputing is for.

[00:39:34] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that the post office owes you money.

[00:39:36] [SPEAKER_02]: I just dispute every charge

[00:39:37] [SPEAKER_02]: and just kind of see what happens.

[00:39:40] [SPEAKER_01]: Brand's got 30 credit cards.

[00:39:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:39:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:39:43] [SPEAKER_01]: They're all locked.

[00:39:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[00:39:45] [SPEAKER_00]: That's good to know.

[00:39:46] [SPEAKER_00]: But Dan, you're not a good barometer for this.

[00:39:50] [SPEAKER_00]: What do you think is fair

[00:39:51] [SPEAKER_00]: for these two Fozies and a Kermit?

[00:39:53] [SPEAKER_01]: How much did you pay for them?

[00:39:55] [SPEAKER_00]: Well, from soup to nuts,

[00:39:56] [SPEAKER_00]: from dollars to donuts,

[00:39:57] [SPEAKER_00]: it ended up being about 65 bucks

[00:40:01] [SPEAKER_00]: for all of these things.

[00:40:02] [SPEAKER_00]: God almighty.

[00:40:03] [SPEAKER_00]: And that's why I'm trying.

[00:40:04] [SPEAKER_00]: That's why to bring it back around.

[00:40:06] [SPEAKER_00]: That's why this 37 extra

[00:40:08] [SPEAKER_00]: is really grinding my gears.

[00:40:10] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm still confused.

[00:40:11] [SPEAKER_02]: What do you mean you have more?

[00:40:13] [SPEAKER_02]: So you got.

[00:40:14] [SPEAKER_02]: So hold on.

[00:40:15] [SPEAKER_02]: He ordered more.

[00:40:16] [SPEAKER_00]: He thought it wasn't coming,

[00:40:17] [SPEAKER_00]: so he ordered more.

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_01]: So you got one.

[00:40:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Here's the other frustrating point.

[00:40:20] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, Brad, it's a good point.

[00:40:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So here's the other frustrating thing.

[00:40:22] [SPEAKER_00]: The one I ended up finding.

[00:40:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, the Looney Tunes.

[00:40:28] [SPEAKER_00]: The one I ended up finding

[00:40:29] [SPEAKER_00]: that I was able to get everything with

[00:40:31] [SPEAKER_00]: had multiple Fozies.

[00:40:32] [SPEAKER_00]: I bought Fozies solo originally.

[00:40:34] [SPEAKER_00]: The one that lost only had three.

[00:40:36] [SPEAKER_00]: If I had just found the final listing first,

[00:40:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I would have saved 40 freaking bucks.

[00:40:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Man, I've never seen.

[00:40:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Merry Christmas.

[00:40:44] [SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen someone in the middle class

[00:40:45] [SPEAKER_01]: so upset about $40.

[00:40:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I watched my dad turn off lights

[00:40:50] [SPEAKER_01]: and tell us we were running the power company for years,

[00:40:52] [SPEAKER_01]: and I've never seen someone in the cemented,

[00:40:56] [SPEAKER_01]: maybe like in the middle middle class more upset.

[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Not the lower middle.

[00:40:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen someone in the middle middle class

[00:41:02] [SPEAKER_01]: as upset about $40 as you are right now.

[00:41:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Do you want me to?

[00:41:05] [SPEAKER_01]: It's the principle of the thing.

[00:41:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to write you it.

[00:41:07] [SPEAKER_01]: As soon as I find my personal checkbook,

[00:41:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm writing you a check.

[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Would you really?

[00:41:12] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'll write you a personal check.

[00:41:14] [SPEAKER_01]: And listen,

[00:41:16] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm with you in the middle middle class.

[00:41:18] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to write you a check for $40 to hear you stop.

[00:41:20] [SPEAKER_00]: No, I can't ask you to do that.

[00:41:22] [SPEAKER_00]: You've done a lot for me over the years.

[00:41:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I just can't.

[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I would,

[00:41:25] [SPEAKER_01]: the amount of time you're spending on it,

[00:41:27] [SPEAKER_01]: is it worth it?

[00:41:28] [SPEAKER_01]: These are like lawyers,

[00:41:29] [SPEAKER_01]: and they're like,

[00:41:30] [SPEAKER_01]: we should just settle out of court

[00:41:31] [SPEAKER_01]: because the lawyer fees,

[00:41:33] [SPEAKER_01]: the amount of time,

[00:41:34] [SPEAKER_01]: time is money,

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_01]: right guy?

[00:41:35] [SPEAKER_01]: You're a personality.

[00:41:37] [SPEAKER_01]: The amount of time you're spending on this BS

[00:41:40] [SPEAKER_01]: is worth more than your 37 bucks.

[00:41:43] [SPEAKER_00]: You have no idea how many times

[00:41:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I've called you SPS.

[00:41:48] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand.

[00:41:49] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand.

[00:41:51] [SPEAKER_02]: You haven't even considered a dispute.

[00:41:53] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know that was a thing.

[00:41:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I think the dispute with the credit card.

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:41:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I've never thought of doing that

[00:41:58] [SPEAKER_01]: when my package isn't delivered

[00:42:00] [SPEAKER_01]: because every time that's happened,

[00:42:01] [SPEAKER_01]: the person that sent it

[00:42:02] [SPEAKER_01]: has given me a refund.

[00:42:03] [SPEAKER_02]: We don't have a lot of eBay experience.

[00:42:05] [SPEAKER_01]: We don't have any.

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:42:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I have a little bit.

[00:42:07] [SPEAKER_01]: Have you reached out to the seller?

[00:42:09] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll have some sweaters for you off eBay.

[00:42:10] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[00:42:10] [SPEAKER_00]: So the seller,

[00:42:11] [SPEAKER_00]: so the seller was actually really cool about it.

[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I explained the situation.

[00:42:13] [SPEAKER_00]: Not cool enough,

[00:42:14] [SPEAKER_00]: apparently.

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_00]: yeah,

[00:42:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:42:16] [SPEAKER_00]: the seller isn't going to give me the money back,

[00:42:17] [SPEAKER_00]: which I understand,

[00:42:18] [SPEAKER_00]: but the seller said that he would put in a claim with USPS,

[00:42:21] [SPEAKER_00]: but see all roads,

[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_00]: it's a,

[00:42:23] [SPEAKER_00]: it's a flawed system because I live in an apartment.

[00:42:26] [SPEAKER_00]: The package is missing,

[00:42:27] [SPEAKER_00]: but since it says it was delivered,

[00:42:29] [SPEAKER_00]: nobody wants to help other than Dan,

[00:42:31] [SPEAKER_00]: which is really nice.

[00:42:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly,

[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_00]: Dan,

[00:42:33] [SPEAKER_00]: you get a bad rap.

[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_00]: That was really kind.

[00:42:34] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't take the money.

[00:42:35] [SPEAKER_00]: How about this?

[00:42:36] [SPEAKER_01]: You tell me the exact amount and I'll write that check.

[00:42:38] [SPEAKER_01]: As soon as I find my checkbook,

[00:42:39] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll write that check to the charity of your choice.

[00:42:41] [SPEAKER_01]: That way everybody wins here.

[00:42:43] [SPEAKER_01]: You'll be fine without $40 and the charity will get $40 and we can,

[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_01]: you can,

[00:42:48] [SPEAKER_01]: there's just more important things to worry about,

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_01]: man.

[00:42:50] [SPEAKER_01]: You can just take a breath and it's okay.

[00:42:53] [SPEAKER_01]: And I hate it for you.

[00:42:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Don't get mad.

[00:42:56] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm with you on this one,

[00:42:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Ryan.

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I think,

[00:42:58] [SPEAKER_00]: I mean,

[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_00]: so Brian,

[00:42:59] [SPEAKER_00]: you've done this.

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I,

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_00]: we got it.

[00:43:00] [SPEAKER_00]: I know we got to go.

[00:43:01] [SPEAKER_00]: It's not like we have to start.

[00:43:03] [SPEAKER_02]: The closest that I've gotten is our Macy's Thanksgiving day parade jackets.

[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_02]: If you recall,

[00:43:08] [SPEAKER_02]: and the eBay seller where it was lost was just did me a solid and just

[00:43:13] [SPEAKER_02]: refunded me.

[00:43:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And then it still came.

[00:43:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So you think going to the credit card company?

[00:43:17] [SPEAKER_00]: 100%

[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_02]: 100%.

[00:43:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you think that's going to work,

[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Dan?

[00:43:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:43:22] [SPEAKER_01]: I think that it will.

[00:43:23] [SPEAKER_01]: If you are a loyal credit card customer to the same.

[00:43:26] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh,

[00:43:27] [SPEAKER_01]: they love me.

[00:43:28] [SPEAKER_01]: Then they're going to refund you.

[00:43:30] [SPEAKER_01]: They're going to.

[00:43:31] [SPEAKER_01]: I bet they like,

[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_01]: they see you coming.

[00:43:32] [SPEAKER_01]: They're like,

[00:43:33] [SPEAKER_01]: Oh,

[00:43:33] [SPEAKER_01]: it's eBay boy.

[00:43:34] [SPEAKER_01]: They're like,

[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_01]: we were unaware.

[00:43:35] [SPEAKER_01]: We were talking to a grown man.

[00:43:36] [SPEAKER_01]: This is crazy.

[00:43:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Someone got ahold of their mom and dad's credit card.

[00:43:41] [SPEAKER_01]: The eBay kid.

[00:43:43] [SPEAKER_01]: That would be a kid.

[00:43:44] [SPEAKER_01]: That would be your name in the wild west.

[00:43:45] [SPEAKER_01]: The eBay kid.

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_01]: two,

[00:43:46] [SPEAKER_01]: three kid.

[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Dude.

[00:43:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you right now,

[00:43:48] [SPEAKER_01]: Ryan,

[00:43:49] [SPEAKER_01]: right now,

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_01]: right now.

[00:43:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I know we all have all the time in the world.

[00:43:52] [SPEAKER_01]: You and me,

[00:43:53] [SPEAKER_01]: you and I,

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Brian,

[00:43:54] [SPEAKER_01]: if he wants to join for sure,

[00:43:55] [SPEAKER_01]: obviously more the merrier.

[00:43:57] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm out right now.

[00:43:58] [SPEAKER_01]: 10 minute weekly pod tales from the eBay kid.

[00:44:00] [SPEAKER_01]: I'll do that podcast with you right now.

[00:44:02] [SPEAKER_00]: We'll do it on the Facebook group.

[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_00]: If nothing else,

[00:44:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a podcast.

[00:44:05] [SPEAKER_01]: We talk through your eBay purchases.

[00:44:07] [SPEAKER_01]: We talk about it.

[00:44:08] [SPEAKER_03]: And we do the episode.

[00:44:10] [SPEAKER_01]: We did the episode.

[00:44:11] [SPEAKER_03]: Cool.

[00:44:12] [SPEAKER_03]: Some of us have to edit this episode now.

[00:44:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.

[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_01]: we gotta go.

[00:44:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:44:17] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean,

[00:44:17] [SPEAKER_01]: you know,

[00:44:18] [SPEAKER_01]: we're technically have till three on this.

[00:44:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Did we get to what the Hallmark?

[00:44:21] [SPEAKER_01]: That was mine.

[00:44:22] [SPEAKER_01]: We did not.

[00:44:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.

[00:44:23] [SPEAKER_01]: We did not.

[00:44:24] [SPEAKER_00]: Aaron,

[00:44:25] [SPEAKER_00]: my edit's going to be simple.

[00:44:26] [SPEAKER_00]: There's going to be time codes.

[00:44:27] [SPEAKER_00]: You tell the post office,

[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_00]: you're like,

[00:44:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I lost my finger puppets and you fingered me.

[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_02]: 100%.

[00:44:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Well,

[00:44:35] [SPEAKER_00]: we'll see you next time for unwrapping four here.

[00:44:38] [SPEAKER_00]: So my what the Hallmark is still.

[00:44:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Merry Christmas.

[00:44:41] [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just kidding.

[00:44:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I have seen three of these movies and I still don't understand.

[00:44:46] [SPEAKER_02]: That's mine too.

[00:44:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't understand the wrapping competition.

[00:44:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That's mine too.

[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:44:51] [SPEAKER_02]: And I don't think that that's right.

[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.

[00:44:53] [SPEAKER_02]: I think you have one,

[00:44:56] [SPEAKER_02]: maybe two.

[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:44:57] [SPEAKER_02]: Before I get upset,

[00:44:59] [SPEAKER_02]: the three movies and I'm still confused about the wrapping competition.

[00:45:03] [SPEAKER_02]: At least they mentioned it this week.

[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_02]: I'll pick an E back on there.

[00:45:05] [SPEAKER_01]: They mentioned it in the early going.

[00:45:06] [SPEAKER_01]: And then we can shut it down.

[00:45:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Can you give me a quick rundown on how it works?

[00:45:10] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh,

[00:45:11] [SPEAKER_02]: absolutely.

[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I know.

[00:45:12] [SPEAKER_01]: I have an idea on what's going on aside from the critical piece of the fact that none of these things are being judged.

[00:45:20] [SPEAKER_01]: There is a guy.

[00:45:22] [SPEAKER_01]: There's one that's a speed thing.

[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[00:45:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Then the fastest,

[00:45:25] [SPEAKER_01]: fastest rap wins.

[00:45:26] [SPEAKER_01]: The other two of these,

[00:45:28] [SPEAKER_01]: the guy at the microphone who is further away than they were hiding from that woman.

[00:45:34] [SPEAKER_01]: He's like 15 feet away.

[00:45:36] [SPEAKER_01]: He goes,

[00:45:37] [SPEAKER_01]: time's up.

[00:45:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Looks like we have a winner.

[00:45:40] [SPEAKER_01]: These are things that have to qualitatively be judged.

[00:45:42] [SPEAKER_01]: No one is going around looking at them.

[00:45:45] [SPEAKER_01]: That is the thing that I don't understand about this event.

[00:45:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a dumb event.

[00:45:49] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a charity thing where they've made four different categories for gift wrapping and the unwrapping girls always do really well.

[00:45:55] [SPEAKER_01]: But they're not being judged.

[00:45:56] [SPEAKER_01]: Yes,

[00:45:57] [SPEAKER_01]: of course.

[00:45:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's be done.

[00:46:00] [SPEAKER_02]: We'll be back next time with the final one.

[00:46:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Or so they say.

[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Until then,

[00:46:04] [SPEAKER_02]: maybe the first to wish you a Merry Christmas.

[00:46:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Merry Christmas.
