We’re back in All Wrapped Up for one last movie. Olivia is going to deliver some gifts to a rich person paying big bucks. She’s up in the mountains, and the snow really starts to come down. She knocks on the door to a cabin, and it’s not a rich lady, but rather this dude from Ben, and it’s clear they know each other. His mom made the order, and he’s as surprised to see her as she is to see him. He even knows that she drinks black coffee.

It doesn’t take long for them to get into an argument about what happened between the two of them. She leaves suddenly, but doesn’t get far—the roads are officially closed. She goes back to the cabin, and he says she can stay, and he’ll just stay out of her way. She ends up helping him decorate, and the ice begins to thaw.

There’s this other woman, though, who is staying at another cabin and is clearly into him. He goes to help fix her radiator.

While he’s gone, Olivia decides to make a run for it, but the roads are still closed. She sees his truck at her cabin and just decides to crash the party.

Anyway, they go back to his cabin and just kind of hang out, talk about them, her business, best, and bow, all sorts of stuff. She shows off her bow skills and reads his romance novel, which really works on her, and they almost kiss, but then his family shows back up. The bridge is still closed, and it looks like she won’t make it back for the gala.

His mom wasn’t excited that Olivia was there, but he tells her that she really likes Olivia, and then she’s nice, and Olivia feels welcome and has a ton of fun. Thankfully, the bridge opens, and they hop in his truck to make it to the gala in time. They all win the competition. And Olivia and Ben kiss one more time under the mistletoe, and All Wrapped Up burns to the ground forever.

[00:00:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Hi, I'm Brandon. I love Hallmark plus Christmas movies. Hi, I'm Ryan. I like Hallmark plus Christmas movies. I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark plus Christmas movies and this is the Deck The Hallmark Podcast. Deck The Hallmark, it's this podcast. We hope you like this jolly podcast. Wow. Hello, everybody. How are you?

[00:00:39] [SPEAKER_03]: How are we? Is it Black Friday already? Is that the day that it is? What is it? It is Black Friday. Wow. Man. That trip the fan got us. We don't even know what day it is. What a, what a, what a Thanksgiving parade it was. Oh, what a parade. What a parade. You should pod about it. Give us some time. How's that going? Some might say we did. Some might say we didn't. You know, it doesn't matter. Yeah. It's all in the eye of the beholder. Use your imagination. That's exactly right. But what a parade.

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Remember when Mario Lopez was up on that turkey brand? It's a great moment. Might have been this year, might not have been, but it happened. Who televised? What channel is it on this year? Is it on every channel? The dumbest question you've ever asked. What channel is it on? Are you kidding me right now, Ryan? I remember thinking the parade was dumb when I was like eight. So, sorry, guys. I'm not here to yuck your yum. I'm thrilled that you love it. I just, I don't know anything about it.

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_03]: I was doing it for Hudson yesterday. Am I right? Am I right, Ryan? Unreal. Unreal. So good. Great parade. Great parade. Great Thanksgiving. Great Thanksgiving, but great parade. Great parade. What was your, what was your go-to food yesterday? Did you try anything new?

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm big on the old, you know, the mashup. You get the turkey, you get the stuffing, you get the mashed potato, and you do the choo-choo train, you know?

[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_02]: You put it all together? You mix the, you took the lime and the coconut, you mix it.

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_02]: You put it all together? Hey, you're talking to somebody that doesn't let his food touch, right guy?

[00:02:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh, Ryan. Yeah, that's why Asian food is so good. It's because you put it all together.

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Have you tried putting the turkey and mashed potatoes into stuffing all together? I don't really.

[00:02:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe that would do it, though. I mean, none of those things are. Your whole thing is like, it's not seasoned, and I know none of those flavor.

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_02]: None of those things are high up on my list of things I really, like, I don't mind any of those things,

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_02]: but I don't really choose any of those things ever.

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_02]: But have you tried them all together? I mean, I bet they'd be as good as they are apart.

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_03]: That's insane. That's pretty great.

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. And then choo-choo train.

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_01]: Pretty great.

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_01]: With choo-choo train. Here comes the choo-choo train.

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, I was like, you know, I mean, I was being a little facetious, but it actually sounds like a fun time.

[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And you sat at the kids' table this year? What did you say?

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, Brian, that seems mean. Like, why'd you do that?

[00:02:49] [SPEAKER_02]: That was a lot. That was a lot, Brian.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_02]: How dare you talk to the eBay kid like that?

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_02]: You're wearing a goofy movie shirt.

[00:02:55] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right. Yeah, second week in a row.

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_02]: But Dan and I are wearing big boy shirts.

[00:02:59] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right. Big boy shirts.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_03]: I could be a big boy.

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's one of the weirder things.

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_01]: You look like you're chilly. Dan just told me he was hot.

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_02]: You look like a mom that's waiting for a kid outside to finish karate practice.

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Joseph!

[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_02]: And the parents aren't allowed in.

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Joseph! He was seen Joseph!

[00:03:18] [SPEAKER_01]: That's great.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's talk unwrapping Christmas.

[00:03:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Olivia's reunion.

[00:03:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Olivia's revenge? Is that what you said?

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Olivia's reunion.

[00:03:36] [SPEAKER_03]: A reunion that is almost as beautiful as the reunion that Ryan had with his money that he got back this week.

[00:03:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my gosh, you did it.

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_02]: It only took a week.

[00:03:46] [SPEAKER_02]: That's pretty quick.

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Pretty quick.

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_02]: The turnaround there.

[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And honestly, it felt even quicker than that in a lot of ways.

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Wow.

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_03]: And many are saying.

[00:03:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:03:54] [SPEAKER_03]: Olivia's revenge, November 28th, Thanksgiving.

[00:03:58] [SPEAKER_03]: So a lot of people sat down, they ate their turkey, and they put on unwrapping Christmas, Olivia's reunion on Hallmark Plus.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_03]: We all know that you did it.

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Who wouldn't?

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_03]: Stop acting like you didn't.

[00:04:09] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_03]: And it went a little something like this.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_03]: We're back and all wrapped up.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_03]: For one last movie, please God make it so.

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Olivia is going to deliver some gifts to some people that are paying her big bucks to deliver them to them up in the mountains.

[00:04:28] [SPEAKER_03]: She goes up in the mountains, and the snow really starts to come down.

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_03]: She knocks on the door of a cabin, and it's not a rich lady.

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Rather, it is a dude named Ben.

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_03]: And it is clear that they know each other.

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_03]: His mom made the order, and he is surprised to see her, and she is surprised to see him.

[00:04:47] [SPEAKER_03]: He even knows, remembers, that she drinks black coffee.

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Man.

[00:04:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Shout out.

[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't take long for them to get into an argument about what happened between the two of them.

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_03]: She leaves suddenly, but doesn't get far.

[00:05:01] [SPEAKER_03]: The roads are officially closed.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_03]: She goes back to the cabin, and he says that she can stay, and he'll just kind of stay out of her way.

[00:05:12] [SPEAKER_03]: That happens for a few minutes, but then she ends up helping him decorate, and the ice between them begins to thaw as the ice outside does not.

[00:05:24] [SPEAKER_02]: If you had started out with, like, the ice remains frozen outside, the things between our two leads begin to thaw.

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_02]: I like both ways.

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_03]: There's this other woman, though, and she's staying at another cabin, and she is clearly into Ben.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_03]: He goes to help fix her radiator.

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_03]: While he's gone, Olivia decides to make a run for it, thinking that the roads would be back open.

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_03]: Is this getting worse out there?

[00:05:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, but roads are still closed.

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_03]: So she ends up heading back, and she sees his truck at this cabin, decides to crash the party.

[00:06:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, they go back to his cabin, and the best, you know, they just kind of hang out and have the best time.

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_03]: They talk about them, her business, you know, best in Bo, and all sorts of stuff.

[00:06:15] [SPEAKER_03]: She shows off her Bo skills and reads his romance novel, which really works on her, and they almost kiss.

[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_03]: But then his family shows back up.

[00:06:26] [SPEAKER_03]: The bridge is still closed, for those of you that are paying attention at home.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_03]: And it looks like she won't make it back for the gala.

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no.

[00:06:35] [SPEAKER_03]: What about best in Bo?

[00:06:37] [SPEAKER_03]: His mom wasn't excited that Olivia was there, but then he tells his mom how he really likes Olivia.

[00:06:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And then she ends up being really nice to her, and Olivia feels welcome with the family and has a ton of fun.

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_03]: Thankfully, the bridge opens back up, and they hop in the truck, and they make it to the gala in time.

[00:06:55] [SPEAKER_03]: All of the women win the competition, including her, best in...

[00:07:00] [SPEAKER_03]: No, the one of them lost.

[00:07:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Remember, what's her name, lost?

[00:07:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Last week.

[00:07:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Ashley Newbro lost.

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_02]: She lost...

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, Lily.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_02]: She lost.

[00:07:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Lily's Disappointment was the name of the film.

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_02]: The older lady that always comes in second, the neighbor, she won.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_02]: She won or win.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_02]: That was the same thing?

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_02]: That was...

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_02]: No, it was last week.

[00:07:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Last week.

[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:07:17] [SPEAKER_02]: You said, just a second ago, all four ladies won.

[00:07:20] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I thought at this specific...

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_02]: At this one, that's when...

[00:07:23] [SPEAKER_02]: All right, if you say so.

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_03]: It went three for four.

[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_02]: It went three for four.

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_03]: If you say so.

[00:07:26] [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know.

[00:07:27] [SPEAKER_03]: It was bad in 750.

[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Whatever.

[00:07:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Anyway, Olivia and Ben go over, and she puts the mistletoe that she made up, and they kiss,

[00:07:39] [SPEAKER_03]: and then all wrapped up, burns to the ground forever, and that, my friends, was...

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_03]: Unwrapping Christmas, Olivia's Revenge.

[00:07:50] [SPEAKER_02]: We did it.

[00:07:51] [SPEAKER_03]: Take a quick break.

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll come back.

[00:07:53] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll break this movie down here on...

[00:07:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Deck the Hallmark.

[00:08:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, Bran, we've only got a few days left.

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_02]: No.

[00:08:06] [SPEAKER_02]: In the most important time of the year.

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_02]: No!

[00:08:07] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it Christmas?

[00:08:08] [SPEAKER_02]: No.

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It's two weeks where you get a promo code to get Kringles at a discounted rate.

[00:08:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Not good ones.

[00:08:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Anytime I bring it to a gathering of sorts, people go, what is this?

[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_03]: This is magical.

[00:09:01] [SPEAKER_03]: And I just go, oh, it's a Kringle.

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_03]: You don't know about it?

[00:09:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Shove off, kid.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:09:04] [SPEAKER_02]: My parents tried the cinnamon one at our house the other night.

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_02]: We ate the whole thing.

[00:09:08] [SPEAKER_02]: It was unbelievable.

[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_02]: You're going to want to get you a handful of these Kringles.

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_02]: That's Kringle.com.

[00:09:21] [SPEAKER_02]: So do it right now.

[00:09:26] [SPEAKER_03]: We're back.

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Hi, everybody.

[00:09:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Welcome back.

[00:09:29] [SPEAKER_03]: We're talking about Unwrapping Christmas, Olivia's reunion.

[00:09:33] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's break this movie down with four segments.

[00:09:34] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going to start with a hot take.

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_03]: And I'll start with you, Rye Guy.

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_03]: Rye, what did you think of the fourth and final Unwrapping Christmas movie?

[00:09:42] [SPEAKER_01]: What a journey.

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's worth noting that.

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, absolutely.

[00:09:46] [SPEAKER_01]: It was a real bonding experience.

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_01]: It's worth noting I love a bottle episode, a bottle movie.

[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_01]: And this did feel more along the lines of something that could have landed on linear to me overall.

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_01]: I will say that for the first, I don't know, 20-ish minutes, not a ton was landing.

[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I was worried about a chemistry issue.

[00:10:06] [SPEAKER_01]: But then about 30 minutes in, the banter got better.

[00:10:09] [SPEAKER_01]: The dynamic got better.

[00:10:10] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not telling you I thought this movie was good.

[00:10:13] [SPEAKER_01]: But it certainly, I feel like, was the best of the four.

[00:10:17] [SPEAKER_01]: There's some small things I liked.

[00:10:19] [SPEAKER_01]: I love that they made Olivia so handy.

[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_01]: Ivy the dog, what a scene stealer.

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_01]: And then other than there was like a few times where there was like very bold and public awkward lines about fate and that type of stuff.

[00:10:32] [SPEAKER_01]: That stuff didn't really land.

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_01]: But this was fine by the end.

[00:10:37] [SPEAKER_01]: And fines on a real graded relative scale.

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_01]: But it was fine, Brent.

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_03]: You said it, bud.

[00:10:43] [SPEAKER_03]: It is the best of the four.

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_02]: The rave reviews are pouring in for unwrapping Christmas Olivia's reunion.

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:10:50] [SPEAKER_03]: It is the best of the four.

[00:10:52] [SPEAKER_03]: You know, the thing that I appreciated most about this movie that I did not appreciate about the other three is the fact that this movie, to your point, it's not, not only does it take place primarily in the cabin, but it takes place over a short amount of time.

[00:11:07] [SPEAKER_03]: Which makes me not mind that she's not at the store.

[00:11:13] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, it makes me not like.

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_03]: She's caught in the snow.

[00:11:15] [SPEAKER_03]: She's literally.

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_03]: She's caught in the snow.

[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:11:17] [SPEAKER_03]: There's nothing that she can do.

[00:11:18] [SPEAKER_03]: But it's not like over the course of the month, she's never at the store.

[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Right?

[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Where these other ones, they start at the store.

[00:11:28] [SPEAKER_03]: And then over the course of the week, a couple weeks leading up to Christmas, they're just never there.

[00:11:33] [SPEAKER_03]: And so it was like a thing where it's like, okay, I can buy this.

[00:11:39] [SPEAKER_03]: We got a family here.

[00:11:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Love a family.

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_03]: And these two.

[00:11:45] [SPEAKER_03]: You were locked in.

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_03]: These two worked well together.

[00:11:47] [SPEAKER_03]: I liked it.

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_03]: Dan?

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:11:50] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, faint as a praise here.

[00:11:52] [SPEAKER_02]: It's the best unwrapping Christmas movie.

[00:11:54] [SPEAKER_02]: You can put that on the DVD box set if you'd like.

[00:11:57] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought it would be.

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Cindy Busby, Jake Epstein.

[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_02]: That's clearly the best couple that we have here.

[00:12:03] [SPEAKER_02]: But I think it would be the best regardless of who the actors were.

[00:12:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Because it has so little to do with the gala or the store.

[00:12:11] [SPEAKER_02]: The other movies that we in this series have a lot to do with planning something.

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Or like something with the store or something adjacent.

[00:12:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And they all suck.

[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_02]: This movie sucks.

[00:12:24] [SPEAKER_02]: But less.

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_02]: Because it isn't really about all of that.

[00:12:28] [SPEAKER_02]: I think if you put any of those other couples into this situation, it still is probably the best movie.

[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And then this movie is helped by the fact that Jake Epstein and Cindy Busby are more than capable.

[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And so that part of it works.

[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_02]: It feels, I think Ryan is right, it feels like something like typical Hallmark fare you would see on their linear channel.

[00:12:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Which is, once again, the faints is to praise.

[00:12:51] [SPEAKER_02]: But when we're dealing with the unwrapping Christmas quadrilogy, we've got to take our wins where we can get our wins.

[00:12:57] [SPEAKER_02]: And I will say this, this is the only movie that has, that I have feels for.

[00:13:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I have an actual contribution to the feels segment.

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_02]: And this movie is not like, there are Hallmark movies that have been released this year or will be, no, that have been released this year.

[00:13:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I said it when we did the episode, A Novel Noel with Brennan Penny.

[00:13:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[00:13:22] [SPEAKER_02]: This movie is better than A Novel Noel.

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_02]: So this, not only if this was on the countdown to Christmas slate, it would not only be on the countdown to Christmas slate, but it wouldn't be the worst movie.

[00:13:31] [SPEAKER_02]: So it is not good.

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Make no mistake, it is not good.

[00:13:34] [SPEAKER_02]: But comparatively, Citizen Kane.

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's get to all the feels.

[00:13:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Dan's going to have one, but hold your horse on the body.

[00:13:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Ryan, what do you got?

[00:13:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Rosebud.

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_01]: So.

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_01]: It's a good feels.

[00:13:48] [SPEAKER_01]: I have mean feels.

[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_01]: They're having a big argument.

[00:13:51] [SPEAKER_01]: It's early on.

[00:13:52] [SPEAKER_01]: And she says to, to Jake Epstein, I'll be sure to send you a photo of me under the mistletoe.

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_01]: It's above and beyond.

[00:14:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Really?

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's like, listen, he deserved it.

[00:14:04] [SPEAKER_01]: He was being a big butthole, but like, that's like the meanest thing that was ever said in the history of Hallmark.

[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_01]: It's like, I mean, it's like legitimately the meanest thing ever said.

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Where you, you say the exact right thing at the exact right time.

[00:14:15] [SPEAKER_02]: And then for the rest of your life, you wish you wouldn't have, because it is,

[00:14:18] [SPEAKER_02]: you won the poker game of mean.

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_02]: And that prize is regret.

[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:14:24] [SPEAKER_02]: The prize there is regret.

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_01]: I was just like really astounded in a good way that they did it.

[00:14:30] [SPEAKER_01]: Like it, it's mean, but like that you don't usually see that in these flicks.

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_01]: So I thought it was.

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I, listen, I will say for as much as these movies kind of felt thrown together and whatnot,

[00:14:43] [SPEAKER_03]: they did a movie that takes place at a cabin during a snowstorm.

[00:14:48] [SPEAKER_03]: And any scene where there are windows to the outside, it looked great.

[00:14:53] [SPEAKER_03]: The snow was always snow, but it's not enough.

[00:14:55] [SPEAKER_03]: No, that's a big deal.

[00:14:56] [SPEAKER_03]: I know.

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_03]: Great.

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_03]: We are really like finding things.

[00:14:59] [SPEAKER_03]: The snow looked great through the, like, I love, I love scenes in Christmas.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_03]: I always talk about the scene at the end of the Christmas story where they sit down and

[00:15:06] [SPEAKER_03]: the snow's coming down outside.

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_03]: It's wonderful.

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_03]: When you got, when you're looking outside and it's snowing outside the window, that's

[00:15:12] [SPEAKER_03]: when you can kind of use that fake snow and get away with it because you're not outside

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_03]: and you're not seeing the snow dissolve on your shirts or whatever, if it's soap or what

[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_03]: have you.

[00:15:22] [SPEAKER_03]: So you can kind of just dump it out there and they did it.

[00:15:25] [SPEAKER_03]: And I appreciate that.

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Dan?

[00:15:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_02]: I have the best feels of all of us because that one was actually good.

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_02]: All right.

[00:15:31] [SPEAKER_02]: But it was basic.

[00:15:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, in other movies that are like a five of ten, you would never do that.

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_02]: You basic.

[00:15:39] [SPEAKER_02]: So many times in bad Hallmark Christmas movies, we have a misunderstanding where a character

[00:15:45] [SPEAKER_02]: takes a phone call around the corner and the other lead hears a part of it and it's

[00:15:51] [SPEAKER_02]: so stupid or a character is on a staircase and hears a conversation with the family and

[00:15:57] [SPEAKER_02]: they only hear part of it or they hear them say something to the family and it is the whole

[00:16:01] [SPEAKER_02]: rest of the movie.

[00:16:02] [SPEAKER_02]: It's this dumb misunderstanding.

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_02]: In this movie, there's a really great scene where Cindy Busby is on the staircase and he

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_02]: is talking to his family about her.

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_02]: And instead of her misunderstanding him or hearing him say something that could be taken out of

[00:16:20] [SPEAKER_02]: context or taking mean instead, she hears him clap back at his mom and say, no, you were wrong.

[00:16:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Olivia was right.

[00:16:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I was wrong.

[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Olivia was right.

[00:16:31] [SPEAKER_02]: She hears him say all the things she's wanted him to say.

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_02]: And that is a big deal in these movies.

[00:16:39] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a big deal in these movies.

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's also well done.

[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, this is a really quality scene.

[00:16:45] [SPEAKER_02]: I enjoyed the scene.

[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_02]: I enjoy watching it and I was shocked that they did it.

[00:16:49] [SPEAKER_02]: So kudos to you unwrapping Christmas.

[00:16:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Kudos.

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Let's take a quick break.

[00:16:54] [SPEAKER_01]: Dan loves the unwrapping side.

[00:16:55] [SPEAKER_01]: I think this was wild.

[00:16:56] [SPEAKER_03]: Dan loves unwrapping side.

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's right.

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Bye.

[00:16:59] [SPEAKER_03]: Let's take a quick break.

[00:17:00] [SPEAKER_03]: We'll come back and we'll get to the wave.

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Cook break.

[00:17:01] [SPEAKER_03]: Are we going to cook something?

[00:17:02] [SPEAKER_03]: This is unbelievable.

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Cookout break?

[00:17:04] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm hungry.

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Happy Black Friday, everybody.

[00:17:16] [SPEAKER_03]: Shop, shop, shop.

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_03]: If you're looking for some things to purchase today, maybe you are in the business of trying to

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_03]: get some Christmas gifts.

[00:17:23] [SPEAKER_03]: We have a few of them.

[00:17:24] [SPEAKER_03]: Christmas movie magic is a wonderful gift.

[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe give it early so you can enjoy it.

[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_03]: Deck the Homeward.com slash game.

[00:17:30] [SPEAKER_02]: We got When's It Gonna Be Christmas Again, our children's book.

[00:17:34] [SPEAKER_02]: We've got I'll Be Home for Christmas Movies.

[00:17:36] [SPEAKER_02]: We don't have it here because we've sold so many.

[00:17:39] [SPEAKER_02]: We've sold so many.

[00:17:40] [SPEAKER_03]: We've got Deck the Homeward.com slash shop.

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:17:43] [SPEAKER_03]: A bunch of swag available.

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_03]: It's great.

[00:17:47] [SPEAKER_03]: It's got a lot of great stuff.

[00:17:48] [SPEAKER_02]: And if you if you are coming to Christmas Con.

[00:17:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this is something right here.

[00:17:53] [SPEAKER_02]: This is great.

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_02]: This is our most popular seller right now in my Christmas movie era.

[00:17:57] [SPEAKER_01]: Alyssa wears it all the time.

[00:17:58] [SPEAKER_01]: She loves it.

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_01]: Genuinely.

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_02]: In my Christmas movie era shirt.

[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_02]: And you can buy that at Deck the Homeward.com slash shop.

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Or if you're coming to Christmas Con, you can save yourself that shipping and you can buy

[00:18:08] [SPEAKER_02]: it directly from us at Christmas Con while supplies last.

[00:18:13] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Tell me all about it.

[00:18:15] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you can't save on the shipping.

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_01]: You then have enough money to ship your pants.

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_02]: You can ship your pants.

[00:18:20] [SPEAKER_02]: You can ship your pants.

[00:18:21] [SPEAKER_02]: It's true.

[00:18:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Ship your pants.

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_02]: Always a possibility.

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_02]: And if they did deliver the wrong address, you call your credit card company.

[00:18:27] [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I know.

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:18:28] [SPEAKER_01]: And if you're and if you still have a little money left over after all that on Black Friday,

[00:18:31] [SPEAKER_01]: there's a listing for three Muppet puppets on eBay right now.

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:18:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Muppet puppets sounds redundant.

[00:18:39] [SPEAKER_02]: Sounds like you don't need both of those things.

[00:18:41] [SPEAKER_02]: If they're Muppet puppets, they're just Muppets, right?

[00:18:44] [SPEAKER_02]: You mean Muppet finger puppets.

[00:18:47] [SPEAKER_02]: I suppose, yeah.

[00:18:49] [SPEAKER_02]: But, I mean, you do need...

[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Full-size Muppet puppets are just puppets.

[00:18:52] [SPEAKER_02]: They're just Muppets.

[00:18:53] [SPEAKER_03]: You do need your fingers for puppets, too.

[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Let your fingers do the walking.

[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_02]: That's exactly right.

[00:18:57] [SPEAKER_03]: It's time for...

[00:18:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Can you please?

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_03]: I can't.

[00:18:59] [SPEAKER_03]: It's just bad audio.

[00:19:01] [SPEAKER_03]: It's time for the wait-waters.

[00:19:02] [SPEAKER_03]: Can we talk about what in this movie is going?

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Wait, what?

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_03]: I'll start with you, Ry.

[00:19:06] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand this GPS.

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_01]: GPS?

[00:19:09] [SPEAKER_01]: GPS-ish.

[00:19:12] [SPEAKER_02]: I've heard of both ways.

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Ry.

[00:19:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Ry.

[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Ry.

[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Ry.

[00:19:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Ry.

[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Ry.

[00:19:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Ry.

[00:19:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Ry.

[00:19:38] [SPEAKER_02]: What about this?

[00:19:39] [SPEAKER_02]: I said, I said.

[00:19:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, go ahead, Ry.

[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_02]: Ry.

[00:19:42] [SPEAKER_01]: This GPS issue she had doesn't really make sense to me.

[00:19:46] [SPEAKER_01]: She doesn't think she's at the right spot.

[00:19:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And the owner of the store insults the GPS as if the GPS doesn't know where the store is located.

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_01]: But, like, why did Cindy Busby think she was in the wrong spot in the first place then?

[00:20:03] [SPEAKER_01]: None of it made any sense to me.

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's tough.

[00:20:05] [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't like it.

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_02]: That's a fucking GPS.

[00:20:07] [SPEAKER_02]: It's a GPS.

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_01]: It's faulty.

[00:20:09] [SPEAKER_01]: The storm of the century is coming.

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_01]: And Jake Epstein was like, yeah, you know, I know it's going to be pretty bad out there later.

[00:20:16] [SPEAKER_01]: But the heavy stuff is, like, much later.

[00:20:19] [SPEAKER_01]: So why don't you just, you know, stay?

[00:20:21] [SPEAKER_01]: This dude's a psychopath.

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, bridges.

[00:20:22] [SPEAKER_02]: Bridges ice before roads.

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_02]: This is a big bridge coming up.

[00:20:25] [SPEAKER_02]: I'd get after it now.

[00:20:27] [SPEAKER_02]: You got four-wheel drive on that, boy?

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_01]: Typical, typical incoming snowpocalypse behavior.

[00:20:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'll just wait a few hours.

[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_01]: It'll be fine.

[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_01]: No big deal.

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_01]: They go out of their way to dunk on his handwriting.

[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_01]: And then we see the handwriting at one point.

[00:20:41] [SPEAKER_01]: And he actually has, like, the best handwriting of all time.

[00:20:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's way better than my handwriting's ever been.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Ever.

[00:20:45] [SPEAKER_01]: I was a writer by trade for a long time.

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_01]: My handwriting was trash.

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_01]: Ultimately, last one here.

[00:20:51] [SPEAKER_01]: Sheila Calloway, who I trust implicitly, says that they very much explain to us the wrapping contest

[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_01]: in part one.

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And, like, she makes it very clear she says that.

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_01]: But I didn't hear that.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_01]: And I didn't know up until now.

[00:21:06] [SPEAKER_01]: So it's hilarious to me that in part four, for me, idiot me, that they finally, with, like, 15 minutes left of this film,

[00:21:14] [SPEAKER_01]: I go into great detail about the fact that it exists, even though we still don't have any clarity on the rules.

[00:21:19] [SPEAKER_01]: On the judging.

[00:21:20] [SPEAKER_02]: The judging is the issue here.

[00:21:22] [SPEAKER_02]: She doesn't get hurt like he's still across the room.

[00:21:25] [SPEAKER_02]: It's best in bow, man.

[00:21:28] [SPEAKER_02]: This is where the players play.

[00:21:30] [SPEAKER_02]: You can't get your binoculars out and judge best in bow.

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_02]: This is serious.

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:21:37] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:21:38] [SPEAKER_01]: For me, I'm going to put some stuff into the gibbous.

[00:21:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Okay.

[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_03]: The gibbous.

[00:21:44] [SPEAKER_03]: It's so...

[00:21:45] [SPEAKER_03]: We're going for the gibbous.

[00:21:46] [SPEAKER_03]: He talks about...

[00:21:47] [SPEAKER_03]: She shows up and she's like, where's the rest of your family?

[00:21:50] [SPEAKER_03]: And he's like, they're skiing.

[00:21:51] [SPEAKER_03]: I got a bum knee.

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And then he proceeds to say, I have to decorate the entire cabin by myself.

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_03]: Bum knee.

[00:21:59] [SPEAKER_03]: That's mean.

[00:22:00] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I know he's walking around fine.

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_03]: So it's like probably the type of knee injury that's like, you know, I'm fine, but I shouldn't be skiing.

[00:22:08] [SPEAKER_03]: But poor guy.

[00:22:11] [SPEAKER_03]: His...

[00:22:13] [SPEAKER_03]: What is it called?

[00:22:14] [SPEAKER_03]: Sentence in life is, can't ski, has to decorate the entire cabin by himself.

[00:22:20] [SPEAKER_03]: That's tough.

[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Bum knee.

[00:22:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Bum knee.

[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Bum knee.

[00:22:23] [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't feel like he made a big enough deal about her reading his work without his permission.

[00:22:30] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, I felt like it just kind of happened.

[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_03]: And he's like, so what do you think?

[00:22:35] [SPEAKER_03]: So, I mean, maybe they got that type of relationship.

[00:22:37] [SPEAKER_03]: But like, artists are like, hey, I don't...

[00:22:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, some artists are like, hey, check this out.

[00:22:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Let me know what you think.

[00:22:44] [SPEAKER_03]: And some are like, I don't want to show you it until I'm ready.

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's not really for her to decide whether or not he said, I'm writing this.

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_03]: You can't just go in and take it and read it.

[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_03]: I thought that was messed up.

[00:22:56] [SPEAKER_03]: It's his intellectual problem.

[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_03]: And he shouldn't have done it.

[00:22:59] [SPEAKER_03]: And I didn't really like...

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_03]: Kudos to him for being chill about it, but kind of messed up.

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_03]: He does write by hand, which is just crazy to me.

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I just...

[00:23:08] [SPEAKER_03]: I can't imagine...

[00:23:10] [SPEAKER_02]: In the year of our Lord, 2024.

[00:23:11] [SPEAKER_03]: I just can't imagine knowing that I don't have to and going, I want to when it comes to writing.

[00:23:16] [SPEAKER_03]: It's nuts.

[00:23:17] [SPEAKER_03]: And then this bow that she made, this was like the equivalent of in Charlie Brown Christmas

[00:23:25] [SPEAKER_03]: when they bring the tree over and then everybody runs around it and goes...

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_03]: And then when they walk away, it's a full Christmas tree.

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_03]: You're like, well, that's funny.

[00:23:32] [SPEAKER_03]: That's amazing how they do that.

[00:23:34] [SPEAKER_03]: That's this bow.

[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:23:35] [SPEAKER_03]: It's like, okay, what's she doing there?

[00:23:37] [SPEAKER_03]: And then she gets in front of it, does some stuff, and then it's mistletoe.

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Bingo.

[00:23:41] [SPEAKER_03]: It's crazy.

[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_03]: It's nuts.

[00:23:43] [SPEAKER_03]: It is...

[00:23:44] [SPEAKER_03]: That's what it reminded me of, the moment in the Charlie Brown Christmas when they make

[00:23:49] [SPEAKER_03]: a full Christmas tree out of something that is not.

[00:23:53] [SPEAKER_03]: And that's amazing.

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_03]: Dano?

[00:23:55] [SPEAKER_02]: You guys left a lot out there, so I'm going to do my best to hurry because there's so much

[00:23:58] [SPEAKER_02]: we have to cover.

[00:24:00] [SPEAKER_02]: There's a dog in the back seat with a bunch of perfectly wrapped gifts.

[00:24:06] [SPEAKER_02]: For a dog that rips stuff up all movie long, just bold.

[00:24:10] [SPEAKER_02]: And also, maybe the dog is pissed off because you keep exchanging the dog between different

[00:24:15] [SPEAKER_02]: people to watch it.

[00:24:16] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe don't do that.

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe have one person watch the dog so the dog gets comfortable just saying.

[00:24:22] [SPEAKER_02]: We've got to talk about this pasta scene.

[00:24:24] [SPEAKER_02]: I can't believe nobody brought up the scene where he cooks her pasta.

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_02]: He is at the stove, pot full of pasta, is getting the pasta out of the pot, putting it on a plate.

[00:24:37] [SPEAKER_02]: And Cindy Busby goes, so you still use a spoon with your pasta, huh?

[00:24:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Cindy, he's getting it out of the pot.

[00:24:44] [SPEAKER_02]: What do you do?

[00:24:46] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you dump it?

[00:24:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Do you get a fork?

[00:24:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, that is how you do that activity.

[00:24:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Right?

[00:24:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Am I crazy?

[00:24:53] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:24:54] [SPEAKER_02]: And then he puts a bunch of butter noodles on a plate, hands it to her, and she's like,

[00:24:58] [SPEAKER_02]: you were always such a good cook.

[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, maybe, but we also don't know based upon this.

[00:25:04] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, based upon this activity, if that's the case.

[00:25:07] [SPEAKER_02]: He still uses a spoon.

[00:25:09] [SPEAKER_02]: And then may I remind you that most Italian places will serve with your spaghetti what utensil

[00:25:17] [SPEAKER_02]: aside from a fork, Ryan?

[00:25:19] [SPEAKER_01]: Typically a spoon.

[00:25:20] [SPEAKER_02]: Typically a spoon!

[00:25:22] [SPEAKER_02]: She's getting noodles.

[00:25:24] [SPEAKER_02]: From a pot with a spoon.

[00:25:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And she's like, can't believe you use a spoon.

[00:25:29] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's because that's what you use.

[00:25:31] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe.

[00:25:32] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.

[00:25:33] [SPEAKER_02]: She also at one point says, we're throwing the gala again this year, but we're mixing

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_02]: it up.

[00:25:36] [SPEAKER_02]: There's going to be a photo booth.

[00:25:42] [SPEAKER_02]: And a cocktail party.

[00:25:44] [SPEAKER_02]: You know what really is going to throw everybody for a loop?

[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_02]: If we have a photo booth at a party.

[00:25:52] [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be crazy.

[00:25:54] [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be crazy.

[00:25:56] [SPEAKER_02]: I think we're going to have bathroom access this year.

[00:25:58] [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be...

[00:26:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Saying that you're between girlfriends is maybe the worst way of saying you're single.

[00:26:06] [SPEAKER_02]: I do need to bring that up.

[00:26:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, you've managed to demean people and, like, just like...

[00:26:14] [SPEAKER_02]: You could say it any other way.

[00:26:15] [SPEAKER_02]: But, like...

[00:26:16] [SPEAKER_02]: I've run through them, man.

[00:26:17] [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what to tell you.

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Saying you're between girlfriends.

[00:26:18] [SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy.

[00:26:19] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not a job.

[00:26:20] [SPEAKER_02]: It's not employment.

[00:26:21] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, how transactional do you think this is?

[00:26:25] [SPEAKER_02]: That was pretty wild.

[00:26:26] [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, Jake Epstein's dad, the actor, you are maybe one day older than him.

[00:26:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Just because biologically you can't be younger.

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Jake Epstein's dad in this movie, I looked him up on Insta, couldn't find a birthday anywhere.

[00:26:37] [SPEAKER_02]: He is mid-40s.

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, Jake Epstein's 38.

[00:26:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, he is just...

[00:26:43] [SPEAKER_02]: From the first time I saw him, I was like, that's his brother.

[00:26:47] [SPEAKER_02]: It can't be his dad.

[00:26:49] [SPEAKER_02]: That was pretty impressive.

[00:26:50] [SPEAKER_03]: Imagine finding out that you're playing someone's dad.

[00:26:53] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and doing everything you can.

[00:26:54] [SPEAKER_03]: And you're only, like, 10 years older than him.

[00:26:57] [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just being like, well...

[00:26:58] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, he actually went up for Jake's part.

[00:26:59] [SPEAKER_01]: And they really liked this.

[00:27:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, he played, like, a young...

[00:27:03] [SPEAKER_03]: Could you read for the dad?

[00:27:07] [SPEAKER_02]: I looked him up.

[00:27:08] [SPEAKER_02]: He played one of the young soldiers in the Pacific on HBO.

[00:27:11] [SPEAKER_02]: And has since done a lot with veterans and troops.

[00:27:15] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, that's his thing.

[00:27:16] [SPEAKER_02]: He travels around the world.

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, for your service.

[00:27:18] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:27:19] [SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know if he served or not.

[00:27:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I want to be clear.

[00:27:21] [SPEAKER_02]: I would assume he did.

[00:27:22] [SPEAKER_02]: But if you're thanking him for his service of traveling, then yes, thank you.

[00:27:29] [SPEAKER_03]: Thank him for the service that he's doing of thanking them for their service.

[00:27:36] [SPEAKER_03]: I think that's admirable.

[00:27:39] [SPEAKER_01]: They give this guy a lot of real estate by the end of the film, by the way.

[00:27:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so my whole point was, in all these pictures, he's clean shaven.

[00:27:48] [SPEAKER_02]: He looks even younger.

[00:27:50] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, he just doesn't...

[00:27:52] [SPEAKER_02]: And I do have one more.

[00:27:53] [SPEAKER_02]: And I found this wacky.

[00:27:55] [SPEAKER_02]: She gets off the phone.

[00:27:58] [SPEAKER_02]: Not Cindy Busby.

[00:27:59] [SPEAKER_02]: The other...

[00:28:00] [SPEAKER_02]: Is it Jake's sister?

[00:28:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Somebody else in that house gets off the phone and goes,

[00:28:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I just got off the phone with a friend of mine.

[00:28:05] [SPEAKER_02]: She's a deputy.

[00:28:06] [SPEAKER_02]: The roads are open.

[00:28:08] [SPEAKER_02]: What?

[00:28:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, first of all, deputies probably real busy.

[00:28:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Second of all, they would announce the roads.

[00:28:14] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, just a weird way to find that.

[00:28:17] [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it's an inside scoop situation.

[00:28:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Why does she have to be a deputy?

[00:28:20] [SPEAKER_02]: I got off the phone with a friend of mine.

[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_02]: The roads are...

[00:28:22] [SPEAKER_02]: They just told me the roads are open.

[00:28:24] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, she's a deputy.

[00:28:26] [SPEAKER_02]: And you need to know that.

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_02]: So this isn't somebody...

[00:28:27] [SPEAKER_02]: This is one of my friends out there lying about the roads being open.

[00:28:31] [SPEAKER_02]: You know deputies can't lie.

[00:28:33] [SPEAKER_02]: And it's a friend and a deputy.

[00:28:35] [SPEAKER_02]: Roads are open.

[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_02]: Roads are open.

[00:28:36] [SPEAKER_02]: So there's that.

[00:28:37] [SPEAKER_02]: That's all I got.

[00:28:38] [SPEAKER_03]: It's time for the Hallmark story.

[00:28:39] [SPEAKER_03]: What could have been?

[00:28:40] [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe having some clarity.

[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_03]: Any questions do we still have?

[00:28:41] [SPEAKER_03]: What are we still wondering about?

[00:28:43] [SPEAKER_03]: Ryan Dickenwood.

[00:28:44] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, do we think this other anthology is going to be any better?

[00:28:48] [SPEAKER_01]: The Cherry Lane?

[00:28:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:28:51] [SPEAKER_02]: Cherry Lane is 100% going to be better.

[00:28:52] [SPEAKER_02]: Aaron Cahill's in that, right?

[00:28:54] [SPEAKER_02]: Aaron Cahill's in that one.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Heavy hitters.

[00:28:55] [SPEAKER_02]: Heavy hitters.

[00:28:56] [SPEAKER_02]: Hallmark's producing that one.

[00:28:57] [SPEAKER_02]: You got to watch.

[00:28:58] [SPEAKER_02]: You got to watch the first one.

[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_02]: You really do.

[00:29:00] [SPEAKER_02]: I got homework now?

[00:29:01] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you got homework.

[00:29:02] [SPEAKER_02]: And I watched the first one.

[00:29:04] [SPEAKER_01]: It's Thanksgiving weekend, Bran.

[00:29:06] [SPEAKER_01]: You got time.

[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_02]: We don't have to do it right now.

[00:29:07] [SPEAKER_02]: You got two weeks.

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I mean, yeah, my bad.

[00:29:09] [SPEAKER_02]: It is.

[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_02]: You're right.

[00:29:10] [SPEAKER_02]: It's right around the corner.

[00:29:12] [SPEAKER_03]: We're up against it.

[00:29:13] [SPEAKER_02]: Thanks for your service, Bran.

[00:29:17] [SPEAKER_03]: That's a pretty, Bran.

[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_03]: Come on.

[00:29:18] [SPEAKER_03]: You're better than that.

[00:29:21] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.

[00:29:22] [SPEAKER_03]: So they're making, they're doing a family activity where they make wreaths.

[00:29:26] [SPEAKER_03]: And the dad, I believe, or somebody says Sam wants to use a shoe horn on the wreath.

[00:29:33] [SPEAKER_03]: And I just want to see it.

[00:29:34] [SPEAKER_03]: I just want to see a wreath with a shoe horn on it.

[00:29:38] [SPEAKER_03]: And that's it.

[00:29:40] [SPEAKER_02]: But the reason that Cindy Busby's character drives up to this cabin where Jake Epstein is, is that someone has ordered Christmas wrapping delivery.

[00:29:50] [SPEAKER_02]: And it is an hour drive one way.

[00:29:53] [SPEAKER_02]: How much money does that cost?

[00:29:55] [SPEAKER_02]: How much money does it cost to order gift wrapping with an hour each?

[00:30:01] [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they even joke about it, though.

[00:30:03] [SPEAKER_03]: They're like, with the money that she's paying you, you got it.

[00:30:05] [SPEAKER_03]: Like, it was like.

[00:30:06] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:30:07] [SPEAKER_02]: So I just need to know a number.

[00:30:08] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, an hour driving an Uber around here is going to cost you 80 bucks.

[00:30:12] [SPEAKER_02]: Like, how much does it cost for a, like, two hours of driving?

[00:30:18] [SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be quad digis, right?

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:30:19] [SPEAKER_02]: It's got to be in the thousands, right?

[00:30:21] [SPEAKER_02]: You would think so.

[00:30:22] [SPEAKER_02]: All that gift wrapping and delivery?

[00:30:24] [SPEAKER_01]: One would think.

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[00:30:25] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.

[00:30:26] [SPEAKER_03]: It's crazy.

[00:30:27] [SPEAKER_03]: And it's not like Amazon where they throw in a bag.

[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_02]: No.

[00:30:30] [SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no.

[00:30:31] [SPEAKER_02]: It's personal, like, boutique wrapping.

[00:30:34] [SPEAKER_02]: It's, like, very special.

[00:30:36] [SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.

[00:30:37] [SPEAKER_02]: We did it, everybody.

[00:30:39] [SPEAKER_03]: Congratulations to us.

[00:30:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Can I?

[00:30:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I just.

[00:30:41] [SPEAKER_00]: So I was doing.

[00:30:42] [SPEAKER_00]: I've been doing some digging into the dad.

[00:30:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Still cannot find a birth date for him.

[00:30:46] [SPEAKER_00]: But 10 years ago, he was in A Very Merry Mix-Up, a movie I think you guys have reviewed.

[00:30:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Alicia Witt.

[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Yep.

[00:30:53] [SPEAKER_00]: He's playing, like, the brother of the lead.

[00:30:57] [SPEAKER_00]: So somehow in the last 10 years, he had a 38-year-old son.

[00:31:00] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:31:01] [SPEAKER_02]: He had a 38-year-old son.

[00:31:02] [SPEAKER_02]: Cool, cool, cool.

[00:31:03] [SPEAKER_02]: Still can't find his age.

[00:31:04] [SPEAKER_02]: You gotta dig that up.

[00:31:07] [SPEAKER_02]: What do you mean?

[00:31:08] [SPEAKER_02]: We just gotta dig that.

[00:31:09] [SPEAKER_02]: You gotta go dig that information up.

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Dig that up.

[00:31:11] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's right.

[00:31:12] [SPEAKER_02]: I thought you were talking about dad.

[00:31:13] [SPEAKER_02]: No, dad.

[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_02]: I was like, dad.

[00:31:14] [SPEAKER_02]: That's weird.

[00:31:15] [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no.

[00:31:16] [SPEAKER_03]: We did it, everybody.

[00:31:17] [SPEAKER_03]: Congratulations.

[00:31:19] [SPEAKER_03]: All in, all done.

[00:31:20] [SPEAKER_03]: All in, all done.

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_03]: All in, all done.

[00:31:21] [SPEAKER_03]: And I just want to say this really quickly.

[00:31:24] [SPEAKER_03]: And I just want to say this really quickly.

[00:31:32] [SPEAKER_02]: Stopping you from getting your finger up in there.

[00:31:34] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there you go.

[00:31:35] [SPEAKER_02]: There we go.

[00:31:36] [SPEAKER_02]: That's the content we pay to see.

[00:31:38] There we go.

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_02]: That's right.

[00:31:39] [SPEAKER_02]: File it at TV slash DTN.

[00:31:40] [SPEAKER_02]: A lot of finger action.

[00:31:42] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh.

[00:31:43] [SPEAKER_02]: Oh.

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[00:31:44] [SPEAKER_02]: Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun.

[00:31:47] [SPEAKER_02]: Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun.

[00:32:23] [SPEAKER_03]: Thanks for listening or don't listen.

[00:32:25] [SPEAKER_03]: It's really up to you at this point.

[00:32:28] [SPEAKER_03]: It's at the end of the show.

[00:32:29] [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, you're listening to me.

[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_03]: Hi.

[00:32:31] [SPEAKER_03]: But here they come.

[00:32:33] [SPEAKER_03]: I promise they're coming.

[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Yep.

[00:32:34] [SPEAKER_03]: Here they are.

[00:32:35] [SPEAKER_03]: Happy day.
