[00:00:00] Hi, I'm Bran and I love Hallmark movies. I'm Dan and I despise Hallmark movies.
[00:00:10] I'm Victor and I'm in Hallmark movie. And this is the Deck The Hallmark podcast!
[00:00:30] It sure is. It's great to be here today. Oh man! Who's voices that? That guy is a band. I don't know maybe.
[00:00:44] Somebody's got a really good upper register. I don't know, I don't want to. Somebody else.
[00:00:48] It could be one of us. It could we know maybe we hired out. You might have said. Oh my goodness. Victor Wester.
[00:00:54] How are you? What's up fellas? Good to see you again. Great to see you. I got to see you a lot during the holiday season. You didn't get to see us.
[00:01:04] So this is nice to get to talk to each other. And we barely made it. We were doing our...
[00:01:08] That's for rubbing it in. That makes that worse my feeling.
[00:01:12] We were doing our normal R200s Quests 200 push ups. We took a break for this.
[00:01:18] So you know, it's just our daily thing. But yeah, no it's good to see you, man.
[00:01:24] It's good to see you guys, man. You always crack me out so much. I love it.
[00:01:28] I want to talk about fighting a fighting chance mainly just the fighting part.
[00:01:35] I want to know like what's how often are you getting in the gym and doing it?
[00:01:40] You just did it. You said you told us before we started that you just got back from the gym doing a little tussle.
[00:01:46] So like, what does that look like for you on a week by week basis? How often are you getting in there and throwing throwing bows?
[00:01:54] Depends if I'm working or not. So if I'm working or within I have a rule that I don't I don't spar or do jiu jitsu or anything like that two weeks before work because I can't show up with a black eye or something like that.
[00:02:08] Sometimes you get a velcro across the face from the glove and then you got a big red skirt.
[00:02:12] You learn not the hard way or did you just have the sense to do that?
[00:02:15] Yeah, many times.
[00:02:17] Jiu jitsu some guys don't trim their fingernails and you get big scratches on your face.
[00:02:23] Yeah, I got it two weeks before I work rule not to do anything but when I'm working, I'll do Jiu jitsu.
[00:02:30] I just had hamstring surgery. So I detached my hamstring tendon from the pelvic bone.
[00:02:35] I've been there.
[00:02:38] So they cut a big six inch gash in my gluteal fold and then went digging around in there until they found the tendon and pulled it back up and screwed it back in.
[00:02:47] Oh, so much.
[00:02:49] We're playing that footage now.
[00:02:54] You provided a clip.
[00:02:55] I think I can ask you this.
[00:02:57] I heard Jake Gyllenhaal on a podcast talking about Roadhouse, a movie that you should have gotten a call for and did it somehow.
[00:03:05] But he said he got staff infection in his elbow during the shoot of it.
[00:03:10] And he said, I didn't know this before filming but staff is just a part of mixed martial arts.
[00:03:16] It's just a part of it.
[00:03:17] It's just like a thing that they're all just like, yeah, it happens.
[00:03:21] What the H man?
[00:03:23] Do they not like that staff on my chin?
[00:03:25] I've had staff on my leg. I've had ringworm on my back.
[00:03:28] I've had it's it's a cleanliness thing.
[00:03:32] You got to sterilize the mats, but you also got to hope that the people that you're rolling with are also clean.
[00:03:37] Man, that is terrible.
[00:03:39] That's where your shoes on the mat.
[00:03:41] You got to be very respectful.
[00:03:43] You can't walk around barefoot and then walk back on the mat.
[00:03:45] You got to be really careful.
[00:03:46] That doesn't terrify you.
[00:03:50] You just you just go to the doctor and pop a pill and it goes away.
[00:03:53] There you go. There you have it.
[00:03:55] Yeah, just like that.
[00:03:57] How did you know he's got to be careful not to rub it on anything?
[00:04:00] How did you not get called for roadhouse?
[00:04:02] I feel like I feel I would you are offended right?
[00:04:04] You were offended.
[00:04:05] Well, first roadhouse was in crap.
[00:04:08] You know, I love me some Patrick's ways in roadhouse.
[00:04:11] This one was very different.
[00:04:13] This one was kind of comical and fun and really kind of goofy.
[00:04:18] It's different than the first one.
[00:04:20] So it was a good movie.
[00:04:22] You know, Conor McGregor doing this thing.
[00:04:25] He's just such a character man.
[00:04:27] He's just got such a personality.
[00:04:28] I think Jake did a really good job playing the kind of like
[00:04:31] lovable loser kind of guy you know living out of his car and
[00:04:35] what I think is actually actually it was great.
[00:04:38] I did think of it.
[00:04:39] Like when I was listening to this interview,
[00:04:41] I thought of Vic because Jake was like every scene where I'm fighting Connor.
[00:04:45] Literally Conor looks crazy and right before the guy yells action,
[00:04:48] I looked at Conor and I said remember don't hit me in the face.
[00:04:52] And Conor was like okay, okay, okay, okay.
[00:04:55] Like he was like Conor would have forgotten it and I not.
[00:04:58] And it's like I think so.
[00:05:00] That's why you need a Vic Webster who is an actor and like fights like it's a both ends.
[00:05:06] I would have given Jake a fighting chance.
[00:05:09] There you go.
[00:05:10] There you go.
[00:05:11] Nicely done.
[00:05:12] Yeah.
[00:05:13] I'm sure.
[00:05:14] I, but would you like is that kind of a dream for you to get to do a movie
[00:05:22] like that?
[00:05:23] I mean, obviously you've gotten to use some of those skills in the past with
[00:05:26] some of the movies that you've done.
[00:05:28] But to do a movie that's like based with fighting like MMA and stuff.
[00:05:32] Would that be something maybe like this is a dream role for me or is it kind of like.
[00:05:36] Oh, I would love that.
[00:05:37] I would absolutely love that.
[00:05:38] But you know, it would have to make sense.
[00:05:40] You want to, you want the fighting to be a part of the story.
[00:05:43] You don't want it to be a story about the fighting.
[00:05:45] Yeah.
[00:05:46] That's how you get a bad martial arts movie.
[00:05:49] It's a lacking in plot and story.
[00:05:51] And then everything is just about oh, we're going to put a bunch of cool fights
[00:05:53] and people won't notice.
[00:05:55] Yeah.
[00:05:56] That's your mount.
[00:05:57] What's your mount rush more fighting films?
[00:05:58] Ooh, that's a good question.
[00:06:01] I mean, you got to love gladiator.
[00:06:03] Oh, great movie.
[00:06:05] I grew up watching Bloodsport.
[00:06:09] Oh, I've watched that movie.
[00:06:10] Come on.
[00:06:11] 200 times.
[00:06:12] Yeah.
[00:06:13] That was the original mixed martial art.
[00:06:16] Yeah.
[00:06:17] You know, yet all the different styles and forms.
[00:06:20] I, but I grew up on all those like Jeff speak ninja clod on dumb.
[00:06:25] All those like just kind of be martial arts movies.
[00:06:30] Dude, you were just saying that the fights can't be the movie.
[00:06:34] The exception of that is Jackie Chan movies, right?
[00:06:37] Like I love a good Jackie Chan movie.
[00:06:39] But they basically like it's about him doing the stunts and the plot will just kind of fill in
[00:06:44] it somewhere, right?
[00:06:45] Yeah.
[00:06:46] I mean, they were smart with rush hour with they used Jackie.
[00:06:49] Yeah.
[00:06:50] Like we use them really well, but then it was also a funny good movie.
[00:06:53] That's right.
[00:06:54] No, no, you're right.
[00:06:55] Rush hour had the combo.
[00:06:56] It was a Brett Ratner action movie.
[00:06:57] But then they did the stunts like you would a Jackie Chan movie.
[00:07:01] Yeah.
[00:07:02] I just remember one of the theater and seeing like Operation Condor and Supercop
[00:07:05] and just being like, how is he doing this?
[00:07:08] Like how is he doing these these giant fights?
[00:07:12] He's got to be paying for it.
[00:07:14] Yeah.
[00:07:15] You can't do that kind of stuff and then and then be 50 60 or whatever old he is.
[00:07:21] He's probably in his 60s now maybe 70s.
[00:07:23] He's up there.
[00:07:24] Yeah.
[00:07:25] I'm going to look it up now.
[00:07:26] And not a Ziggy.
[00:07:28] How old is Jackie Chan?
[00:07:29] 69 years old.
[00:07:30] Yeah.
[00:07:31] I'm just going to follow up on us.
[00:07:36] No, it's just you decided on Ziggy for Alexa and that's it.
[00:07:39] That's all we don't need anything.
[00:07:41] And she has an English.
[00:07:42] She has an English accent.
[00:07:43] Oh, speaking of English accent.
[00:07:44] Really classy.
[00:07:45] Someone you need to go and listen.
[00:07:47] I wish we had pulled the clip.
[00:07:48] Will Kemp talked about you when he came on the show.
[00:07:51] Right.
[00:07:52] And it was really fun.
[00:07:54] Because he initially talked.
[00:07:55] Wait, who?
[00:07:56] Exactly right.
[00:07:57] His first two minutes on you, he's just roasting you.
[00:08:01] It's great.
[00:08:02] And then obviously he comes back around to say nice things but then he he talks about like I would not think that you two have a lot of similarities in how you go at your craft.
[00:08:20] But then you talked to Will, which we got two for the first time this year.
[00:08:23] And he's like I met Victor on one of the scorpion king movies and it's like we both he just grinds like we both love to grind and get in there.
[00:08:32] And he's like I just want to do another movie with the Webster.
[00:08:35] When's that happening?
[00:08:36] A will camp Vick Webster joint.
[00:08:37] How do we get that movie?
[00:08:39] I don't know.
[00:08:40] That would be amazing.
[00:08:41] I love me some woke up.
[00:08:42] He's just such a just a great dude.
[00:08:47] I don't know what would be the premise of it.
[00:08:49] Roadhouse sort of.
[00:08:50] It's roadhouse with being with will and Vick Webster.
[00:08:54] Yeah.
[00:08:55] Roadhouse maybe it probably have to be the halfway house.
[00:09:02] Do you have any interest in like you're so ingrained now with the homework world?
[00:09:08] Do you have any interest in like coming up with some of these stories yourself and like maybe getting to to act with someone like will again or something like making that
[00:09:16] your like do you're in charge of your own destiny as they say at that point like hey I want to work with will camp
[00:09:23] I'm just going to write something.
[00:09:24] I'm just going to do something.
[00:09:26] We actually writing friend of mine we pitch something to home arc not too long ago we'll see what happens with it.
[00:09:34] There's a few ideas and they like to couple up so we'll see but it's one of those things where either I would have to do a cameo in a will camp movie or he
[00:09:44] have to do a cameo in a vector Webster movie which I would be totally willing to do it.
[00:09:50] I love me some will or if we could find a way that we could do like three minutes of type of thing.
[00:09:58] Oh dude get a third person in there.
[00:10:01] That's great or like there's a you guys doing some sort of switch like either house switch or body switch you
[00:10:09] know fun a will camp Vic Webster body switch movie get out of that would require me to do a very bad
[00:10:17] yes because that's all I could do I could remember your will camp so you can ham it doesn't matter right you can
[00:10:24] ham it up it'd be perfect he'd have to he'd have to be struggling to go through your workout regime and you're just
[00:10:30] over there like drinking tea.
[00:10:31] Oh Mark just like that don't kid yourself man let me tell you something when we did scorpion
[00:10:36] came will stepped up he got jack that was the I don't know if that's the best shape is ever been in in his
[00:10:42] life but he was in very very well a will camp Vic Webster body switch movie is the best I get we've
[00:10:47] ever come up with on this podcast that would be that would be really good actually yeah oh my goodness
[00:10:52] work on that work on that right it's I want to go back really quickly to your two week rule of not
[00:10:58] sparring two weeks before going to set set like homework occasionally will be like hey
[00:11:03] we're starting next week like we've heard stories I think maybe that time has has passed but it used
[00:11:08] to be hey we're we're filming like a week here's the thing you want it has that ever happened
[00:11:14] you have you ever gotten offered something and gone I got a black eye right now yeah like I can't do this movie
[00:11:23] so I was shooting something one time and I'm like I'm just gonna go I'm just gonna go roll around a little bit
[00:11:32] and we say that I was out of that's how we got we always a little spark to roll around situation yeah of course
[00:11:38] so it wasn't a hallmark but it was something else and I was out of town shooting and I went and
[00:11:47] sparred and an hour no issues no problem is what really really light what was some like black belts
[00:11:52] and brown belts you know people that have really good control and stuff like that
[00:11:56] and then there's this like very eager blue belt guy and he came up and said hey I really want to roll can
[00:12:02] we roll for like just a couple minutes and I was like you know I'm kind of done I kind of just
[00:12:07] want to go and he was like no please I was like all right within the first 10 seconds of rolling
[00:12:14] I sat down on my butt went on my back to try and you know get make it a little bit more you know fun
[00:12:21] and then get on top having tried past my guard and all that kind of stuff and he did a knee up the
[00:12:25] middle really really hard and fast trying to pass my guard I was already letting him pass my
[00:12:30] guard but he was trying to like forcefully do it and need me right in the face so
[00:12:35] orange and my face just went like this and I had a big cut under my eye I was bleeding and
[00:12:42] I just knew it and that was on a Saturday afternoon and I had to be a work on my
[00:12:46] mind oh boy and that was why I'm so hard and strict about the two week rule because I showed
[00:12:54] up and they did a really good job at covering it up but I looked a little bit
[00:12:58] elephant what was it for was it for hallmark was it for a different project I can't
[00:13:02] I can't it wasn't for home art but I can't say what it was because I didn't tell
[00:13:09] them what I got you got you yeah of course of course yeah there's all these funny
[00:13:14] contracts we have to sign it's like you can't snow boys you can't rat them or cycle
[00:13:18] you can't do this while you're shooting and all that stuff and so I did but yeah it was for
[00:13:22] uh it was a guest star on a show got you that's why in Christmas cookie
[00:13:26] catastrophe it does look like uh that's how the cat that's how the kid Rachel
[00:13:32] Boston just socked him once yeah Rachel doesn't mess around man it's got a good
[00:13:37] right exactly
[00:13:44] yeah
[00:13:48] since the last time we've talked to you you've done some wedding veil you've
[00:13:51] done a Christmas cookie catastrophe yeah you're in the new Hannah Swenson you did a
[00:13:55] mystery crit the mystery movie last year missile to lane you been busy hallmark
[00:14:00] spend calling a bunch uh are we gonna see uh I know you got Hannah Swenson coming out
[00:14:05] are we gonna see a Christmas big big webster this year is that something we can talk
[00:14:08] about I don't know I mean something I'm hoping
[00:14:11] that that season is coming up probably in summertime end of summer those are the
[00:14:18] things like people do get calls like a week before I'll usually get a call you
[00:14:23] know a couple weeks before me like hey do you want to do this this is who's in it here's the
[00:14:27] script and they have such a great stable of actors over there that whoever it is I'm
[00:14:35] really very excited about working with I know you watched all I believe it was 43
[00:14:41] hallmark movies this past year fighting chance you watched them all you had to
[00:14:47] did you have a did you have a favorite that you watched for fighting chance
[00:14:51] you know I think they were all really really good I would hate to just narrow it down of course
[00:15:00] no yeah yeah but will camps was yeah that's a smart answer there smart answer I was
[00:15:07] some of the some of the best acting we saw in some of those movies was in your
[00:15:12] fighting chance uh you gave a couple of performances in their tiered up above and
[00:15:19] beyond what was asked of you I mean it was like a award winning stuff I mean
[00:15:24] was that on a boredom or is that just you wanting to over deliver I what was
[00:15:29] that um that was me wanting to spice it up a little bit yeah you know I think I just got
[00:15:36] you know I got reminded of some of my traumatic childhood and then it just came out in the
[00:15:44] video and it wasn't even a conscious choice just you know sometimes you just can't hold on to those emotion
[00:15:49] did um did you ever get sick of it like you know you were like why did I say
[00:15:57] yes to this no I broke it up into sections and it was that the hard thing about it
[00:16:04] was trying to find something different and interesting to say for all whoever
[00:16:09] was 40 something of them um and like if I'm going to say something yes to
[00:16:14] something like that then I'm going to make sure that I you know do a good job
[00:16:19] that I that I give it my all and thank you for sending me a reminder messages
[00:16:27] hey we need a few more here and there it was good get a little poke here and
[00:16:32] there because you get into your life when you forget about this really dumb
[00:16:36] bit that we want you to do yeah yeah I listen man I am that guy who has to go I
[00:16:42] guess I got a tech tech big Webster and ask him for more fighting chance
[00:16:48] videos I guess I got we I was I was proud of us we we came up with that idea
[00:16:53] we asked you in Kansas City you were so kind to do it and we didn't tell a soul
[00:16:58] until the first one aired and we got to watch it live because we're doing a marathon
[00:17:02] with a group of people and it was everything that I could have wanted the first
[00:17:05] time that it came on screen people were like what is happening what's going on
[00:17:09] and then people were laughing it was my favorite it was one of my best kind of
[00:17:13] joke where yes it wears out its welcome a little bit and then it comes back around
[00:17:18] because you're doing you know five episodes a week for you know how I make so
[00:17:23] it was so perfect it was so great I don't know how we're going to top it there's no way
[00:17:28] you're doing a fighting chance with will kids will will camp a dancing chance
[00:17:34] dancing chances and dance with will dance with me with will kill that's not bad
[00:17:39] and then you play aaba dance with dancing queen and you just do something
[00:17:43] throw it in there could you dance like if we're doing swap if we're doing a body
[00:17:46] switch you have to dance wills got a fight in that movie right dance
[00:17:50] oh yeah oh yeah he can dance yeah you can dance if you want I mean
[00:17:55] I mean I mean is that a real question
[00:17:57] yeah
[00:17:59] I love it the big you you did the couple of wedding veil movies with Alison
[00:18:07] Sweeney is that the connection that when they decided to go a new direction for
[00:18:13] the lead in the Hannah Swenson movies was that why you got the call there was
[00:18:18] you had a working relationship with Alison and that was what made me
[00:18:21] I have to imagine that it played into it for sure I think they needed a certain
[00:18:25] type of person to fill that role camera Matheson is a stud and he's a great actor
[00:18:30] he's a really great guy and wonderful to work with from what Alison says
[00:18:35] I haven't actually worked with them but everybody you know speaks so highly of
[00:18:40] him I love camera myself you know we're friends so it was big shoes to step into
[00:18:46] and he chose to step away and I fell honored to now be in those movies with Alison
[00:18:56] and you know I did the wedding veils with Alison we have a great great
[00:19:02] chemistry I love working with her she's she keeps me on my toes she improvs
[00:19:07] she reacts to my improvs in the moment in her character so it's all just
[00:19:12] really fun when I go to work so I imagine that definitely the history between us
[00:19:17] definitely played in and you obviously you know crush the answer about camera
[00:19:21] Matheson which I didn't ask about cam specifically but that's exactly what I was
[00:19:25] expecting it killed him off it's a shame they won't do that to you I guess just
[00:19:29] a follow-up on cam that we he's been on our show we love cam you know this you
[00:19:35] know these movies have an ardent following like a really intense following and
[00:19:40] I'm assuming you're prepared for some backlash of those people that are big big
[00:19:47] like we're waiting for cam's character and and handed it together and
[00:19:53] and they're upset like you're anticipating that right I'm mad at myself
[00:20:00] I don't blame them I don't know who these people people everybody has an opinion
[00:20:06] everybody has feelings everybody feels a certain way and you know if somebody's
[00:20:12] upset about that I completely understand they've grown to love cam they've grown
[00:20:16] to love the camera street between the two of my completely get it not on
[00:20:19] blame them I don't like me can you can you can you bake can I bake
[00:20:27] you know what I'm really good at being in the kitchen smelling was big
[00:20:32] big and then being the official tasteless yeah it's a tough job yeah I'm
[00:20:36] going to have a job it's a really it's a the mean I dig deep really dig
[00:20:40] yeah but I managed to pull it off somehow yeah absolutely that's nice he
[00:20:45] can dance though he can dance that's all yeah I can dance yeah what is what is
[00:20:51] work like for you right now because you got obviously now you're a part of
[00:20:56] the hand of Swenson universe which is not going anywhere anytime soon I
[00:21:00] would I would imagine and here you know you do a couple home marks every year
[00:21:04] like are you actively auditioning for other stuff or you just kind of
[00:21:08] like I can't like this home market is pretty pretty dope I'm just going to kind
[00:21:12] of roll with this no I'm definitely I mean I'm being very
[00:21:16] discerning about the stuff that I'm auditioning for I'm not just auditioning
[00:21:21] for just anything it's got to be something that I feel drawn to
[00:21:25] and it's really good material go and that kind of stuff I just did a short
[00:21:29] movie this weekend a buddy of mine and making his directorial debut so I was
[00:21:37] very excited to help him out I did a couple years on motherland yeah I was
[00:21:43] going to ask you I was going to ask you I'd never heard of the show but in between
[00:21:48] like during covid it looks like you were up I guess a regular or recurring on a
[00:21:53] show called mother land fort Salem I don't know anything about that but you were
[00:21:56] in 13 episodes what is the show about which should I should I go find it
[00:22:01] so let's say witches were real and they didn't get burned at the
[00:22:09] stake in Salem interesting huh they made a deal with the powers that be to fight
[00:22:15] their battles so the witches become our military so the witches and
[00:22:21] the stitches this is kind of a period piece I believe it took place in the 90s
[00:22:25] and it's if we lived in a slightly alternate reality where our military or
[00:22:30] witches I play the vice president of the United States who on paper supports
[00:22:37] the witch agenda and behind closed doors wants to murder all wow I stop
[00:22:43] selling I just Victor Webster is playing Al Gore in the 1990s
[00:22:49] unbelievable they are so they look so similar I think first of all I mean you know
[00:22:56] that's fantastic so it's a very very opposite of any hallmark character I've
[00:23:01] ever played where I commit a lot of a church's crimes and that's about imagine
[00:23:06] I was heart because you're so pro witch like now like a live event that was you
[00:23:10] always talk about witches and how much you love them yeah
[00:23:15] yeah file not to be such DTA just how we want is it a Canadian that was my
[00:23:20] witch we all know it no you don't need to say it yeah is it was that a
[00:23:26] connect took me a second to get my fingers in the right place though because I
[00:23:29] did the spark first and then I had to you with three and one here for a second
[00:23:32] and I was like I don't okay just be careful yeah there's a lot not going
[00:23:37] around was that a is that a Canadian show mother land fort Salem
[00:23:43] um it was on who do okay so I said here on the poster free form and
[00:23:49] who do free for free form to check it out so was on free form and then very
[00:23:55] shortly after that went to who do but I think people can find it on who
[00:23:58] now right on how about that vice president Victor I love them all right so this
[00:24:03] Hannah Swinson joint what do we need to know about it because I imagine you
[00:24:07] get introduced in it and you're not going to fall in love immediately because it
[00:24:11] took you know a bunch of movies for Cameron to finally get a kiss but what can
[00:24:16] I'll tell you somebody feeds you delicious baked goods that just releases
[00:24:21] something inside man I just I don't know what it is no and that's fair I'm not
[00:24:25] listen you can ask Allison this when it winter people are going to start
[00:24:30] leaving this town she she it I feel like these people in the in Hannah
[00:24:35] Swinson's town are just the murder rate of just random citizens
[00:24:40] so high so high that a Baker is taking the extras and solving like the number
[00:24:47] of murders happening here is us just staggering and I feel like you passed
[00:24:52] that to Allison like we're worried about the town's people you know what I mean
[00:24:55] like it's like maybe find it after the 10th one I'm like the Baker solved
[00:25:01] another one I think I'm gonna move I think I'm gonna move towns this is what I'm gonna do
[00:25:06] we've got a call in the professional baking squad is your character like the
[00:25:13] replacement for you a cop are you a copper I'm in law enforcement wow
[00:25:22] this guy gives us not what a way to answer the question I'm gonna look up what's
[00:25:26] this what's your name in the show what is it his name's Chad Chad Norton he's the
[00:25:31] virus guy oh Chad Norton will you also in them and something called refracted
[00:25:36] like anti I'm sorry anti I'm sorry I mean the I mean the Joe you're the Norton
[00:25:41] yeah yeah I said he's a virus guy that he's fighting off Bill McCaffey yes yes
[00:25:46] yes you're just your name's Chad Norton and you're in law enforcement I don't
[00:25:52] know man I don't know we don't get any more of law enforcement we don't get
[00:25:55] anything more specific than that detective lawyer police officer nothing a lot of
[00:26:02] guys named Chad I just say they're in law enforcement
[00:26:08] my name's Chad and that's right yeah you see the police t-shirt sweetheart it's
[00:26:13] official yeah I'm a little bit higher up the food chain okay a little higher this
[00:26:19] sounds like a district attorney situation to me is what it sounds like I could see
[00:26:26] how it might sound like you can see that huh man so now I mean you're higher
[00:26:32] up the food chain so did the Baker get promoted like it's like you know
[00:26:38] now the hand is so many of these crimes with regular police officer imagine
[00:26:42] what she could do with somebody higher up the food chain right man right here he's
[00:26:48] she has now been promoted to the official Baker for all of the needs of the
[00:26:56] county needs of the county I just want to I'm trying to see if I can find a
[00:27:00] fault I want I can ask another question why you doing that so you've been a
[00:27:05] I do I do like that they name the movie after me though one bad app did oh
[00:27:09] one bad oh boy look at you you're a prosecuting attorney I felt that felt
[00:27:14] honored about that prosecuting attorney according to IMDB saying you're a you
[00:27:19] could be a bad guy me no man if Vic Webster if they are advertising that he took
[00:27:29] the place of now I lost his name was Chad Norton Chad Norton in the virus
[00:27:35] Norton and the virus took the place of camera Madison and he turns out to be
[00:27:40] a bad guy it could be the best movie of all time like yeah don't do this okay
[00:27:47] all right so you were a part of another mystery wheel for Hallmark matchmaker
[00:27:54] correct with Danica correct so you are you are familiar with how these wheels
[00:27:59] spin how they work you you kind of like the cases out front the characters are
[00:28:05] kind of in the background the character development happens not in the 15
[00:28:09] day 80-minute arc of a movie but over the course of hopefully half dozen of
[00:28:13] these bad boys or whatever because this is the I don't know ninth how many
[00:28:18] Swenson movies have there been a ton yeah Aaron you know Aaron's a big
[00:28:23] top of your head eight eight well there was five originally and then I think
[00:28:29] you guys have covered one of the we did what the plum pudding one that's a
[00:28:33] and that's all right seven or eight so there've been a bunch of these when you
[00:28:37] come on board is there a and I know you probably can't fully answer this but
[00:28:42] any sort of tidbit you give me would be great is there since there's already
[00:28:45] been seven right in these is there a tendency to escalate the dramatic or
[00:28:52] romantic tensions between you and Allison as the lead versus what would happen if
[00:28:57] you and Allison were starring in a new wheel does that make sense if because this
[00:29:04] is a seventh or eight if there's a need to elevate things because it is later
[00:29:08] down the road in these movies yeah people you know keep them excited you might
[00:29:13] want to like up the stakes you know Allison wrote this movie wow I did not so
[00:29:22] yeah so that's pretty awesome and she did a fantastic job she produced
[00:29:28] start-in wrote she's incredible she was wearing a lot of hats on this and I
[00:29:35] think this movie is really fun because it takes you on a ride like you think you
[00:29:41] know and then it's a total left turn and then you think oh now I know and then
[00:29:44] you're like oh no now it's over here and I remember reading the script saying
[00:29:48] I'm totally confused now I thought it was three different people and it was
[00:29:52] none of them now oh that's who it was so it was me the right time kind of
[00:29:58] taking a sort of ride yeah it was it was me the whole time yeah I think that
[00:30:05] taking taking people on the ride that way really keeps them interested yeah and
[00:30:10] now the way that they introduced my character is really really fun that there's
[00:30:17] there's very much kind of like a moon lighting vibe it's a little bit of
[00:30:21] intaginistic messing with each other you know so that keeps it really fun as
[00:30:27] well youngsters out there who want to get in the acting game and are doing
[00:30:30] things that people want to know about what you just what you just witnessed
[00:30:35] there was expert not answering the question like it was the best version of I'm
[00:30:41] not giving you any information but I've what I said was so entertaining and fun
[00:30:45] anyway you absolutely nailed it and I'll say moon lighting moon lighting
[00:30:50] yeah that's right you just add moon lighting into anything yeah that's right I
[00:30:55] think Palaha has done that yeah Palaha has done the same like wow moon lighting
[00:31:02] I knew I loved me some Palaha for some that's right yes Aaron you want to say
[00:31:06] something yeah I have been unsure about Hannah Swanson I feel like with the
[00:31:10] whole love triangle with the dentist and came at this and I've been a kind
[00:31:15] of unsure sure but Victor being so sure not to give anything away is making me
[00:31:21] really excited yes it is up yeah and Aaron are producers she's seen all of
[00:31:27] these we've not seen all of them we've seen the latest three in the original one
[00:31:30] I think and you did a great job selling it there there is you did a great
[00:31:36] job making us want to watch this weekend is what you did so that that in
[00:31:42] that case check the box excellent job and I get a I love that you canceled all
[00:31:46] of your plans for this weekend just right I've read Friday night tonight tonight
[00:31:51] tonight's yeah finally to this yes tonight it airs on homework movies
[00:31:55] mysteries home or mystery no more movies let's try
[00:32:00] um be honest Vic and I don't want to get you into troubles yeah you know he's
[00:32:14] gonna if he starts with saying you know you know Alison wrote this movie no
[00:32:19] I'm not gonna I'm gonna ask you you are in an interesting spot you have been
[00:32:24] brought into a a series where there are eight potential other movies if you do
[00:32:32] your homework did you watch absolutely yeah I've watched all the baked goods I've
[00:32:39] watched them there's the cookie which one's your favorite
[00:32:45] is it which one's your favorite I'm putting yeah plum pudding definitely that was
[00:32:49] my absolute yeah yeah after yeah sorry I feel like we're gonna get more trouble if
[00:32:54] I went any further but yeah no plum pudding is the correct answer that's
[00:32:58] to correct answer yeah Vic before we get into rapid fire I would like for you if
[00:33:04] you don't mind Dan and I we have our problems we sometimes get an
[00:33:10] argument and sometimes on a rare occasion we get into a little bit of a
[00:33:16] ruckus we do a we do a bit of rolling yeah I think that there's a way in which
[00:33:23] we could do this with it still being you know we don't want to hurt each other no
[00:33:29] how could you give us some maybe a quick tutorial on how to best spar to get
[00:33:36] out that frustration without trying to a attempting to hurt the other person if
[00:33:41] you said biting body sparring you don't hit to the head at all yeah it's just like
[00:33:51] everything is is the shoulder and to the body and wasn't necessary okay rate my punch
[00:33:59] over here right my punch no was that you're gonna break your thumb yeah what do I talk
[00:34:09] to kind of like this he said like that you want to out so this right here you're
[00:34:13] gonna break yeah oh so go out but he's not even he's punching like he's can you
[00:34:18] want to punch these two knuckles right here he's casting a real on their
[00:34:22] wrist at the end and twist yeah he was he's going to catch a big bass in the
[00:34:26] next I'm not gonna hit you this time just go ahead just go ahead okay so I'm
[00:34:34] gonna give you one more piece of advice don't punch oh boy if you ever actually
[00:34:46] have to hit somebody just open up your hand and hit him with this part of
[00:34:49] your hand right here I can do that yeah I got a pretty mean kit too I could see
[00:34:56] that he doesn't whoa that wasn't bad you guys can we can we film that in 240 because I was too
[00:35:06] fast to see what we need to slow down we can get angry in here for that frame frames per
[00:35:13] second we'll slow it down oh my goodness that's worth my whole day right let's wrap it fire
[00:35:18] we each could ask you three questions they can be about anything which is different than
[00:35:22] what we've been doing brand just took a lot of the stink off this one but I was
[00:35:25] gonna ask you if brand and me together had to fight you would we stand a chance
[00:35:29] okay great oh I need it was just a rumor of hope yeah what's that what's that
[00:35:39] from dumb and dumb or when he says so you're saying there's a chance also you're
[00:35:43] saying there's a chance yeah well what if it's not both of us at the same time like
[00:35:48] what if it's a tax situation the handicap no we're we're done I would never fight
[00:35:55] this I would just see he takes the high road every time I might hug you to death but I would
[00:36:01] if it's me brand and care math yeah that's fair see here's the braw I fight dirty I fight
[00:36:09] to win yeah yeah so yeah yeah I'm gonna do I'm gonna do things that maybe you would not
[00:36:14] normally expect there it is in our normal fights yeah and our normal fight yeah yeah
[00:36:19] yeah you're normal you know thumb in your normal don't hit anyone just slap them well
[00:36:26] okay let me ask you that this is the time moment if you're listening to this for
[00:36:29] the best of put it in there Victor Webster being telling brand don't even try to
[00:36:34] hit anybody don't waste your time I'm worried about your somebody brand is just
[00:36:39] not I don't want to Dan pushes me to that limit okay I'm saying I want to I don't have any
[00:36:46] interest in this yeah yeah do you ever do you do you as a sparring master as a black belt
[00:36:54] do you do you see professional wrestling like WWE and just go hogwash or do you think it has its
[00:37:01] place do you kind of enjoy it's for the theater I think it's incredible what those guys can do
[00:37:08] all of them ladies the guys they're jumping off the top ropes they're doing flips they're
[00:37:13] incredible athletes and they have such amazing control imagine being 250 pounds jumping off
[00:37:20] the top rope and landing on somebody after doing a flip and not seriously hurting yeah it's impressive
[00:37:26] but imagine if imagine what that person could do if they wanted to hurt you yeah so that's
[00:37:33] that is real they're incredible athletes are strong their athletic great cardiovascular
[00:37:39] conditioning and all the stuff they do if it was done for real would be incredibly effective there
[00:37:46] you have it which which injury hurt worse the ACL being thrown from the elephant or the detached
[00:37:55] hamstring um the hamstring at the time was incredibly debilitating and I couldn't
[00:38:03] stand up but the injury that hurt the most ever was when I hurt me at my disc in my back and I
[00:38:10] couldn't stand up straight for six weeks and then every time I would hurt it I wouldn't be able to
[00:38:14] get up out of a chair take me like six or seven minutes stand up from a chair in a fully standing
[00:38:19] position and that's what I had it I had a new disc put in my back so they laid me on my back
[00:38:25] cut open my stomach pulled out all my organs put them on my stomach put a new disc in my back
[00:38:30] and put all my organs back in and so we got that clip we got that clip right here we go what
[00:38:36] they provided some of the best we had our TV so it's amazing the clips that he was like yeah I'll
[00:38:41] do quick 30 with you guys here's some clips you need to be prepared to show um oh this just
[00:38:47] in one of the colors from the rainbow's gone forever which one would you be the most okay
[00:38:54] with never seeing again oh yellow yeah that's a good answer yellow out on yellow out on yellow
[00:39:04] dude wait until the gossip columnists pick up on that they are gonna run with yellow it doesn't
[00:39:09] work for me yellow makes me look like I'm sick I can't wear it it reminds me honestly just of
[00:39:16] you know peed and um so yeah we could lose the rainbow I mean there's gold but gold is different
[00:39:23] than yellow set it for years yeah well but I do I do like the colors and then
[00:39:30] some I want to apologize in advance for the TMZ article tomorrow that just says big
[00:39:34] Webster says yellows got to go yellows and I don't I never want that to be I mean look I love
[00:39:40] them all but if I had to right big one there's gonna be an issue there's gonna be a little circle
[00:39:44] in that article is a picture of camathas and an all yellow it's gonna be unbelievable what they do
[00:39:50] what TMZ does with that information is gonna be on the way that you'd be nice to cam you'd be nice
[00:39:54] to camera he's gonna bench press that's right that's true he is I just thought of this now based upon
[00:39:59] all of our conversations would you rather be at a roadhouse like movie as the lead or try your
[00:40:05] hand at some WWE oh good question I'm too old to mess with the WWE okay I would get I've been
[00:40:14] I have two injured in my life I know I'd get injured I'd love to do a roadhouse in your it's
[00:40:18] 31 year old 31 year old Vic which would he rather do when T2 year old okay all right I probably do the
[00:40:28] the what's my call it I definitely do the WWE that would be fun but not man I have friends
[00:40:34] that are in the WWE and their schedule is grueling they have to drive from location to location
[00:40:45] to location they gotta try and fit in a meal try and fit in a workout try you know a lot of times
[00:40:49] it'll carpool two three four people in a car be able to get to another city in time then they
[00:40:54] got to find themselves a hotel and all stuff unless you're a star in the WWE you're that's a
[00:41:00] it's like stand-up comedy but your body's getting destroyed every night yeah you see Darren
[00:41:05] Aaron Oskey's the wrestler it's one of my favorite the movies unbelievable yeah incredible phenomenal
[00:41:10] yeah um one Olympic sport has to go and you can replace it with anyone which Olympic sport do
[00:41:17] you think doesn't belong and what shouldn't be replaced with that rhythmic gymnastics wow okay all right
[00:41:26] went there where they're twirling the ribbons yeah yeah amazing amazing not a sport though you're
[00:41:33] saying replace it with grizzly bear wrestler you might go there yeah I think that that would be
[00:41:43] highly entertaining that's not a thing though right every every bear we're grizzly bear wrestling that's
[00:41:48] in Russia it is yeah definitely just for fun sees yeah yeah have you seen the like the Russian
[00:41:55] the daggistani wrestlers wrestling bears for fun no we have a different algorithm that'll think
[00:42:05] go down a rabbit hole and now yeah yeah these guys out there I mean the bears are friendly and
[00:42:09] they're obviously you know somewhat the bears are friendly yeah I mean they're hand fed and
[00:42:16] but these daggistani wrestlers are out there wrestling these bears wow wow yeah there you have it
[00:42:21] what an Olympic sport that was I was looking for something on my phone when I was talking to you
[00:42:26] that's fine oh no problem we get that on that I don't know actually I don't know if I can show it
[00:42:30] to you it's a scar from my from my surgery hey Ziggy shows the scar it's up to you I can't
[00:42:37] show it to you I don't think can I know it's probably too graphic for you show something you could
[00:42:42] show us off the lot show us off the lot Hannah Swenson the bat one bad apple one one singular
[00:42:49] bad apple there's also one new character I don't know you do the math that's premiering tonight on
