BRAN'S I'LL BE SEEING YOU SYNOPSIS
We see a decent looking fella smile at the camera and get into a VW van. He arrives at a golf cart race for these two elderly ladies. Vivian and Sue are at it again. The race is up the stairs and Vivian wins. The crowd goes wild. See, Mark works at this assisted living community as the interim activities director. They've offered him a permanent job but he's not so sure. He loves the people but he doesn't want to say goodbye to all the potential adventure he'd miss out on by taking a permanent gig.
We then meet Amy. She is Vivian's granddaughter. She goes out on a date with a dude named Joel. He likes her but she's just too busy for him.
She shows up to visit Vivian and ends up playing mini golf with Mark and they get straight to it with the flirty flirty fun time. She's going to be staying with her over the weekend but gets pulled into some work stuff - a client is finally ready to sign over a patent. She's gotta travel 9 hours down the coast. Grandma Vivian is like I wanna go with you! And Sue should come with us! Road trip here we come!
They get on the road and immediately run into some car issues. It's gonna take a long time for roadside assistance to come, so Vivian calls Mark who is more than happy to help. He's like this car isn't going anywhere. How about I drive y'all? Amy isn't thrilled but the grandmas are. Amy and Mark get to talking and they realize that they both have some issues when it comes to love and commitment.
They take a pitstop at the town where Vivian first met her first love, Teddy. She sings their song: I'll Be Seeing You (THAT'S THE NAME OF THE MOVIE!!!). They end up finding a note from Teddy from 1979 with an address telling her to come find him. Amy is all about it. It's just a little detour!
They get to the house but there's a new owner. But she says she just found something in the attic that she might want to see. It's a blueprint that belonged to Teddy. It's for a log cabin. Vivian says he always dreamed of building one. So they go to talk to the company who made the blueprint to see if they have more information. They find out that they never made the cabin but know the area he moved to and they find a property that is owned by a Teddy. But Amy needs to push pause on the fun times - she has to finish her job. So Vivian and Sue go and hop on a train and Mark and Amy continue the road trip. They find a place to stay the night and have a great dinner together. The next day, upon checking out, her bag with the papers she needs to get signed gets put into the wrong car. They find out where the papers ended up - about an hour away. They end up sticking around at this party to slow dance to the song I'll Be Seeing You, if you can believe it.
On their way out of the party - they get a call from Vivian and Sue. It was the wrong Teddy Roberts. But a guy walking by at the party is like oh I know a Teddy Roberts. He owns a cabin about 3 hours away and loves the Cubs. Crazy!
She gets to the dude's house and realizes this is going to be a long time. While inside, Mark finds out that Sue fainted, so he has to leave. Amy says she can't leave. But while she sticks around, she realizes she doesn't want to let life pass her by. So she tells the dude she has to leave but he likes that, so he signs the papers. She tells her boss she needs to take some vacation to think if she wants the promotion or not. She then hops into a van with a band heading south to meet up with her grandma before she finally meets Teddy. She gets there just in time for Vivian to knock on the door.
Mark and Amy have a heart to heart and he decides he's gonna take the job and stick around and they go fishing and kissssss.
